I loved this boutique. I would 100% recommend it for anyone. I love their mission and their quality of dresses. You cannot beat these prices. I was trying on dresses from my favorite designers for 50% the retail price. And a majority were in excellent quality. They also had snacks and water and comfy seating dor guests. Wonderful!

This place truly is a gem! The workers were so kind and fun to be around. They made me feel extremely comfortable and provided words of wisdom, kindness, and encouragement. You can tell they do what they do because they love it and love getting to support a greater cause. Margo helped me with my fitting and she was amazing! She talked me through everything, was hilarious, intentional, and lovely to be around. This place is a must see if you are wedding dress shopping. Amazing prices, great customer service, beautiful dresses, all for an amazing cause!

Amazing Experience!
It was such a wonderful experience buying my dress at New Name! It was all so lovely, it’s hard to know where to begin. The shop atmosphere was charming and quaint with a wide selection of sizes and styles at very affordable prices. The volunteers were extremely welcoming and friendly and made the whole experience laid-back and fun! It felt so good buying my dress there, knowing it was environmentally friendly (since all dresses are used) and all the proceeds go to charity! I keep recommending this place to all my friends. I couldn’t have imagined buying my dress anywhere else!

A Wedding Dress Shopping Experience That Truly Changes Lives
From the moment I walked into Bridal Boutique by New Name, I knew it was going to be a special experience. The boutique itself is absolutely beautiful, and before I even started trying on gowns, I noticed a personalized welcome sign with my name on it — such a thoughtful touch that immediately made me feel celebrated.
What makes this boutique truly unique is its mission: it’s 100% volunteer-run, and every dollar of profit goes directly to support New Name, a nonprofit helping victims of sex trafficking and exploitation. Supporting a cause so meaningful while shopping for my wedding dress meant the world to me.
The volunteers who helped me were phenomenal — kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about both the mission and helping brides find their dream gowns. They explained how everything worked and guided me through an amazing selection of stunning dresses. I must have tried on more than ten gowns, and honestly, I felt beautiful in every single one. Narrowing it down was so hard!
In the end, I couldn’t choose just one — I found two wedding gowns I absolutely adore (one for my ceremony and one for my reception), plus a beautiful dress for my rehearsal dinner, a gorgeous veil, and a sparkling belt that perfectly completes my look. And the best part? All five pieces were still under my original budget for one dress!
The entire experience felt magical — my friends and I laughed, took photos, and soaked in every moment. I left feeling like a princess and so grateful to have supported such an incredible cause in the process.
I’ve been telling everyone I know about Bridal Boutique by New Name, and I hope every bride takes the time to visit. Not only will you find breathtaking gowns at amazing prices, but you’ll also be making a difference in the lives of women who need it most. 3 years ago we had found my sisters wedding dress here, and I knew it’s a place I had to go to look for mine! My experience was wonderful and the 2 volunteers who helped me find my dress were so sweet and patient. I tried on probably 10 dresses and finally found the one on the last dress. It was such a personal experience and they really worked hard to find my perfect dress. Not to mention the amazing mission of the boutique and the affordable pricing of both the dress and veil. I highly recommend looking for wedding dresses here. It’s a win win for everybody!

I had the most incredible experience at Bridal Boutique by New Name! From the moment I walked in, the volunteers were so warm, welcoming, and professional. Their kindness made me feel completely at ease and excited for the journey ahead. What really stood out to me was the mission statement of the organization—it’s empowering to know that shopping for such a special occasion could also support such a meaningful cause.
I came for the dresses, but I stayed because of the amazing selection and the personalized service. Carol was absolutely fantastic—she was thoughtful, patient, and so helpful in guiding me through dress selections and fittings. She really listened to my vision and helped me find the dress that made me feel beautiful and confident.
As a social worker, it meant a lot to me to be able to commemorate this pivotal part of my life with a dress that not only symbolized a new chapter but also supported social justice. I love that my wedding dress represents both my personal happiness and my commitment to making a difference. I got my dress at this unique boutique!
This is a super cool non-profit bridal boutique located in a private residence where you can purchase off the rack wedding dresses. I had a great and easy experience trying on a wide variety of dress styles with their volunteers and my mom. I'm only 3 months out from my wedding day so this was a fantastic option--and thankfully, I found a dress I love at a good price and for a good cause! They book up on Fridays and Saturdays, so schedule your appointment early or be open to a weekday.

Thank you, Bridal Boutique by New Name, for blessing me with such a positive, uplifting, wonderful bridal dress shopping experience! After a not so positive initial experience at David's Bridal, I came across Bridal Boutique by New Name and made an appointment. They were extremely responsive and flexible even when I had to cancel 2 appointments due to illness. We were greeted by 2 wonderful volunteers who spent time talking about their mission. They assisted me in trying on almost 20 dresses, some I picked out, some they recommended. Ultimately we narrowed it down and sealed the deal when putting it together with the veil. We stayed well within my budget! I felt beautiful, confident, encouraged, and supported in the decision. All of the proceeds from dress sales go to an incredible mission of supporting abused and trafficked women so I walked away feeling so good about my purchase. All together, an incredible organization with well trained, compassionate volunteers. I feel so fortunate to have had this experience. Thank you, Bridal Boutique by New Name!!!! Highly recommend!

Loved my experience at NewName!
Both my fiancée and I found our dresses here! Kara (the volunteer that helped us) was amazing and the selection of dresses was really nice. We tried a few sample gown stores in the city selling dresses for $1000+ but I felt like the quality of dresses were much better here. Overall our experience in the boutique was great and I can’t recommend NewName enough.

Bridal Boutique by New Name was the most perfect experience - I cannot recommend it enough!! From speaking with the director of the organization on the phone about their mission, to booking the appointment and then trying on dresses and finding the one - it was seamless! I got the same experience (if not better) than my friends who went to larger boutiques and spent 3x what I spent. Not only are you having a private and personalized bridal experience, but you are supporting an incredible organization while doing so. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was perfect - they had a lot of variety in styles and sizes. Sue and Stacy helped me pick out dresses that would fit my personality, wedding style and body type, as well as interacted kindly with my family and never once rushed me. I found a gorgeous dress and I'm so glad I can help a very worthy Christian organization! I HIGHLY recommend shopping at this boutique!!

These ladies were absolutely lovely to work with. Such a great wedding dress shopping experience. Super personalized. They really listed to what I wanted and were able to support with their opinions when I was unsure. When I found a dress I liked they also jumped in and held up vails and belts and hair bling to support in me seeing the full vision. They are not pushy at all and just so supportive. This goes to a great cause on top of it and these dresses are so reasonably priced! This was the first and last place I went to look for my dress! 10/10 would recommend!

I walked in and seen so many beautiful wedding dresses I went to my size and there were so many dress to choose from. There were more selections than I had initially had in mind when all things came together. Brittany was so attentive and made us the bride and the guests feel comfortable. She is knowledgeable and was honest about what could be altered and could not and was so helpful. This boutique is the first (and only) place I went to try on wedding dresses. I knew of three others who had found their wedding dresses here! The room was beautiful with a lot of dresses and accessories to choose from! The ladies who helped us were so sweet and informative. They explained the mission of the boutique, which I love, they were able to clip the dresses so you could get a good feel for how it would like on the wedding day! The first dress I put on was the dress that I bought! It was a wonderful experience and will treasure the memory!

My experience at Bridal Boutique by New Name was fantastic, and I found a beautiful wedding dress there! Several of my friends had found their wedding dresses there, so I decided to give it a try. It feels like a bridal boutique despite being in a basement, and there were so many dresses to choose from! I tried on about 12-15 dresses, all in my size and in the style I was hoping for. I had the most wonderful experience at Bridal Boutique by New Name. They had such a wide variety of gowns, and of all the places I'd looked, my top two dresses came from here. The volunteers were helpful, kind, patient, and allowed me to come back in with my family the next day as I made my final decision! I loved my gown, and love that the proceeds went to a good cause. I had a great experience just about a year ago. I bought my dress at a phenomenal price and for it altered all for under $900. Felt great to have such a huge portion go to such a great cause. They had everything organized under price and size. They were such a variety to choose from and lo the dresses were in great condition.

They accommodated us right after the new year with a wonderful appointment!! Megan was extremely helpful in explaining New Name and the purpose of this great organization. We were able to browse the selection of dresses and she helped try things on with perfect insights and suggestions. My sister found the most amazing dress even after trying on just a few more before making the final decision. The price was very reasonable for a dress like it. I would recommend this boutique to anyone looking for a wedding dress and wish I had known about it when I got married.

Bridal Thrifting? YES PLEASE!
I came upon this INCREDIBLE organization through a friend who mentioned volunteering for their organization. As a bride who loves thrifting, sustainability, paying it forward, and pretty dresses, it was everything I wanted AND MORE!
After getting engaged, I decided to go to their overstock sale just to 'dip my toes' into dress shopping. After meeting several of the lovely volunteers, I walked to the first rack and I couldn't wait to try on a GORGEOUS dress, so I threw it on over my gym clothes. BOOM! I said yes to the dress! And yes, it got even better!
Since it was an overstock sale, I took home a dress originally marked at $1800 for, wait for it…
$20 DOLLARS Y'ALL! BEHOLD, THE GREATEST THRIFT OF MY LIFE!
I donated in addition to the purchase, and returned to find my veil because this organization is WONDERFUL in all that they do to help women get setup for success.

I finally found my dress!! I had gone shopping for my wedding dress 6 times before my appointment with Bridal Boutique by New Name with no avail. The second dress I tried on at my first and only appointment with New Name was the one!! I didn't find anything close to what I wanted at the other dress shops. I found multiple top contenders at New Name. They had so many different options and current trendy styles. I was the only bride there for a 2 hour appointment and I felt so cared for and welcomed. I actually had fun trying on dresses, where at the other shops I felt frustrated and disappointed. Angela was wonderful to work with! She made me feel so special and beautiful! She did not pressure me at all and she was just truly committed to helping me find my dress. I found my veil the same day too! The cherry on top? 100% of your dress purchase proceeds go to help local women who have been trafficked and exploited. I cannot recommend Bridal Boutique by New Name more. It was a wonderful experience and a fantastic cause!

I had such a wonderful shopping experience the selection is wonderful and the help from Babs and Maggie was top notch. I loved that I could flip through the racks and pick out all the dresses I wanted to try on. I never felt pressured or rushed. They pulled sugfestions for me ans helped discuss alterations. Email responses were very quick and they even squeezed me in last minute for a second appointment. I am beyond pleased with my shopping experience and highly recommend scheduling an appointment.
As an added bonus the proceeds go to a great cause! Do your self a favor and check this place out!!

Great spot to find a dress! Most of their dresses are donated (some are off the rack, unused), but all are in great condition. All proceeds go to trafficking victims. Great organization.
As far as the quality of the dresses go, there's lots of variety--modern, up to date dresses, but also classic dresses! The people helping us were awesome. Very knowledgable, professional, and fun! I found my dress, as well as my veil, and an idea for what shoes I wanted. Awesome place!

I shopped at several bridal boutiques before coming here and it was by far the best experience I had. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. They have so many gowns to choose from and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to look on my own first as well as to be provided with recommendations. I found my dress based on a recommendation from Angela who had paid close attention to what I liked and ultimately allowed me to find my perfect dress! Bridal Boutique by New Name also has an amazing mission and helps human trafficking victims through their organization. In the end, I was able to get a high quality dress at a fraction of the cost and felt like the money spent was much more worth it based on their mission to help others. The ladies who helped me were so professional and welcoming, offered ideas on accessories, and really tried to understand my style and what I was interested in. It was a far more comfortable and personal experience than the two other boutiques I visited. The dress I chose is absolutely beautiful and a huge discount on the original retail price. When I discovered the Bridal Boutique by New Name online, I knew I wanted to get my wedding dress there. I love their mission that supports local women & the idea of re-using wedding dresses. Carol helped us at the boutique and was amazing at picking out beautiful dresses for me to try on and made us feel at home. Angela was also available by phone to answer a few questions we had. I love the mission this shop supports and was so impressed from the minute I walked in. Everything was so well organized and they even had a welcome sign for me on the chalkboard. The volunteers answered all of our questions (I brought my mom and my sister) and helped us look through the dresses, showing me how they could be altered if it was a style I didn’t originally want. There was absolutely no pressure; it was a fun and relaxing experience and I was so happy to walk away with my perfect dress! They gave me referrals where I can get my dress altered, but again there was no pushing or telling me what I had to do. Beautiful garment bag as well! And it definitely helped that they explained how I should hang my dress at home. Assistance and 100% attention to detail from start to finish.

Bridal Boutique by New Name was phenomenal to work with and I'm grateful to have found them for my dress! I'm a bride on a budget and to have the proceeds from my dress go to a cause dear to my heart was an absolute dream. We were late to our appointment after getting lost (new to Chicagoland), and Angela was kind throughout our communications. Shopping with my sister and the staff was fun, timely, and exactly what I was looking for. My sister and I appreciated the COVID-19 safety guidelines the boutique followed and also noted that Angela and her assistant's enthusiasm never waned. I had heard about New Name through a friend and decided to make the trip from Indianapolis to Wheaton and I am SO glad that I did. The thought of my parents spending so much money on a dress that I would wear for one day did not set well with me, and I was also concerned how I was going to find an ethically made dress. New Name provided a great solution to each of these, with many affordable options as well as second-hand dresses. It was an added bonus that the boutique benefits their organization that works to help local trafficking survivors. Their boutique is filled with hundreds of beautiful dresses, both new and used, and they provide a COVID-safe environment during appointments. My mom, sister, and best friend went with me and we had a special couple of hours as I tried on dresses... I felt like a bride, and the kind of bride that I wanted to be (environmentally and ethically conscious). Highly recommend checking out the boutique!!

Incredible Staff, Dresses, & Experience!
From beginning to end, my experience with New Name was amazing. I reached out to them through their Instagram account (@bridalboutiquebynewname), and they responded same-day. I was able to set up an appointment within one week of my reaching out, and their signage, communication, and health/safety expectations (especially during a pandemic!) were all clear and straight-forward. During my appointment, everyone was masked and followed state guidelines. The woman who helped us (thank you, Angela!!) was professional and kind, and there were SO many options for dresses (styles, prices, etc.), as well as veils, jewelry, shoes, belts, jackets, and more.
As a bride on a budget with a short engagement timeline, I went in hoping to find the dream dress with this boutique, and they did not disappoint. In my appointment, I was able to try on 10-15 different dresses and found one I love that will only need minor alterations. New Name's mission is incredible, their staff are knowledgeable, and the overall experience was so sweet. I was thrilled that my mom was able to be there and help me try on stunning dresses, and Angela even helped us find a veil that matches my new wedding dress beautifully.

Just what I was looking for!
My experience at Bridal Boutique by New Name was exactly what I was looking for. Their volunteers made me feel so comfortable and were so encouraging when it came to trying dresses on. The space was welcoming, bright and made the experience not stressful. Walking away with a dress where the proceeds are going to women who were exploited or trafficked was a humbling experiencing and I’m homered to wear my dress knowing the meaning behind! I 100 percent recommend trying this place out. Even if you don’t get your dress from there you will not be disappointed by the volunteers and your time there.

Loving and helpful
I went in and had such a great experience with their volunteer staff! I ended up loving a dress, and putting it on hold for a week. I didn’t end up getting it, but I new it probably wouldn’t be there if I came back. Low and behold, I did come back many weeks later and brought my family the second time and they fell in love with the shop and dress just as I had!! I said YES to MY DRESS here!! Such a fun time! I would for sure recommend this place!

I had gone dress shopping about 5 times at various locations before coming here. I was so stressed and exhausted I almost cancelled my appointment. I'm SO GLAD I went because I found my dream dress almost instantly. There was something about purchasing a dress where the proceeds went to charity that made the whole experience so much more appealing, Getting a Hayley Paige gown at 40% of the original retail value wasn't half bad either!

Awesome Experience
I had the best experience at Bridal Boutique by New Name! I set up my appointment with Angela who was very responsive and accommodating with my schedule. At my appointment I worked with Ellen and Stacey who both were very helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for. When it came to actually finding my dress, they allowed me to put it on hold and take the afternoon to think it over. When I can back for the dress they had great suggestions for cleaning and any alterations I could make!
I would highly recommend this boutique! All the money goes to a great organization and the experience is seamless and fun! The volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Very helpful & beautiful dress selection
I was very happy after I found my dream wedding dress after two dress try ons! There were three employees there helping me every step of the way and were SUPER helpful. The ladies who helped me find a dress we’re so kind and encouraging! I’ve been to places that the consultants were more focused on the revenue than helping me find a dress I liked. More people should know about this!!
I was blown away by New Name. Quite frankly, I had very low expectations going in knowing that it's a non-profit with donated dresses. Once there, I felt like I was transformed into a high-end bridal boutique. The atmosphere is fun, light-hearted, and all centered around making you feel like a million bucks. The volunteers listen to what you're looking for and guide you through the whole process, I often forgot that they were volunteers with how excellent their knowledge and care was. There are TONS of options for all sizes. The prices are incredible. When I tell people about my experience and the deal I got they are in disbelief. I still am when I think about it! It's so special to have a place that creates such a positive experience, fights for justice & care for women, and supports sustainable fashion. New Name is incredible and I want everyone to know about it! Thank you for going above and beyond! You are a blessing to SO many!

Amazing Experience Finding my Dream Dress
Not only is this a wonderful cause, the volunteers who work the boutique are so friendly and really make it special. I found my dress after trying on four others, it was a tough decision, but I knew when I had it on that it was THE dress. The price I paid considering the quality (Pristine condition brand new!!) was amazing and perfectly in budget for my wedding. I cannot recommend this place enough! I was also shocked to see the HUGE selection and how many different styles they had. Make this your first stop for dress shoping!

The best bridal shopping experience!
From the moment we walked in, we were met with friendly volunteers and a customized experience. The dress selection was beautiful and everyone helping us was so patient as I tried on many dresses. A lovely experience to remember forever
I love the New Name organization, and I love the attention that they have put into their boutique. The staff is flexible, friendly, and clearly there to make sure you have a wonderful time. Although the selection is more limited than a full retail store may be, I found a dream dress at an excellent price. Just as important though, I had a fun time with my best friends trying on dresses and getting ready for my big day.

In the midst of 6-7 other wedding dress shops, BridalBoutique by Newname stood out in a way that had me coming back not once but three times to see their new inventory. After such a warm and welcoming and helpful experience there my first time, and especially after seeing where the proceeds of brides purchases had helped women in need, I knew I wanted to find my dress there. When I was late, my appointments went long, and even when I wanted to try on my dress one last time before buying it but could only do an evening appointment, they were so gracious and helpful, loving me so well throughout the entire process! They gave me space when I needed to cry with my mom on the phone and never felt overbearing. My only complaint would be that the service/WiFi was poor, preventing me from being able to get my sisters and mother’s thoughts over FaceTime.
I’m so thankful for these people and this place! And I could not be happier with my dress :)!

Amazing cause and amazing women to work with!!!
I can't say enough good things about New Name! Angela was a dream to work with. She pinpointed my style perfectly and even though I was all over the place with what I thought I wanted, she picked out one dress that I never would have picked off the shelf...and it ended up being my wedding dress! It was the first dress I tried on, (and the first shop I visited!) and I'm so glad I chose it! There were no alterations needed, it was exactly the amount I had budgeted (which was not a high amount), and they even had the perfect veil to pair with it!
Most of all, I LOVED the fact that my purchase went towards helping women in need. Helping women getting out of abusive and trafficking situations has been a passion of mine for years, and it felt right that my wedding let me give back.
Angela made what I thought might be a difficult decision quick, easy and fun!! I'd HIGHLY recommend Bridal Boutique by New Name to anyone!

Such a wonderful experience. Angela knew what she was talking about and was so helpful, encouraging, and kind. We were waiting for my sister to arrive to make the final decision and they went above and beyond for us. Such a personal and comfortable experience with them. What an amazing idea, giving to a good cause; experience was just awesome!!
Such a beautiful experience! The ladies were wonderful and a huge help! Very accommodating and the boutique is so cute and clean and neat! I enjoyed my experience here! Due to tattoo cover up I needed I did not purchase my dress here but I did come back to purchase my veil and hoop skirt!
