Victoria was AWESOME to work with. She listened to everything I asked for and was so helpful since I didn't always know how to describe what I was looking for. I added a bow to my dress and she made it so perfect and beautiful, I would work with her again 1000x over. I wouldn't say she's necessarily cheap but I was happy to pay for the job to be done so well, and I had some unique requests which definitely added to the price. You don't want to mess around with the person who is changing your dress, so spend the money and go with Victoria, you'll be glad you did. -

My wedding dress was a perfect fit!
I got married in August 2023 and Victoria altered my dress perfectly! On the day of my wedding, I felt like my dress was custom made for me, even though we only did a few alterations such as bringing the sides and waist in, adding a bustle and bringing the front of the dress up slightly. The original size of the dress was a 10 and we took it down to about an 8 in the top section. It was so easy to work with Victoria! I had my first consultation with her in March of 2023 and picked up my dress in May 2023. I wasn’t in a rush to have my dress altered since my wedding was not until August. If you needed quicker alterations, she may be able to accommodate that. Victoria works from her home studio, which I wasn’t expecting at first, but she was super professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. The pricing for everything I needed done was about $400 which is very comparable to other vendors I researched. I would highly recommend her work, she is so talented and kind! -

Victoria was fabulous with my wedding dress alterations. She knew exactly what needed to be done for it to be the perfect fit. She also helped show my sister how to bustle the dress on my last fitting. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does when you do your last try on and she is able to see the final product and share your joy with the moment.

The Absolute BEST!!!
I am so blessed to have found Victoria! She is an amazing seamstress! A true artist in what she does. Due to Covid, I was unable to go shopping at stores for a wedding dress. I had to order dresses offline to have shipped to my house in order to try them on. After many different shipments, I finally found a dress that I loved, the only problem was it was an A-line dress and I was really wanting a mermaid silhouette. I bought it anyway though, and started looking for someone to do alterations. After my first appointment with Victoria, I knew she was going to able to make my dress exactly how I had pictured it. She transformed it into the dress of my dreams! I might have started with a simple online dress, but thanks to her I ended with a one of a kind gorgeous dress! Not only was she amazing at what she does, but she is the sweetest most caring person! Do not hesitate to call her for alterations! I promise you, you will not be disappointed!! -

I cannot say enough great things about Victoria. As a COVID bride, my plans continued to change and I didn't think I was going to be able to wear my wedding dress for our ceremony. That said, Victoria made it happen. By the time my dress came in I only had a month (give or take) before our ceremony. Victoria squeezed me in the week my dress arrived, and fitted me for alterations. She had to restructure the bones of my dress to fit my torso as well as the usual hemming and add bustles. She did it all in plenty of time for my ceremony, and the dress fit like a glove. I am thrilled with how it came out, and would refer Victoria to anyone I know looking to get wedding alterations done. -

After being quoted almost $900 at a Raleigh bridal boutique to get my dress hemmed and have the shoulders and waist taken in, I found Victoria! Her prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and her work is incredible. She is very timely in her responses, flexible, and easy to work with. It's also worth noting, especially in a time of pandemic anxiety, that her house is very clean and she stays masked and provides hand sanitizer. I felt very comfortable taking my mother with me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for bridal alterations! -

Amazing seamstress!
Victoria is AMAZING! My dress was over three inches too long and had a very distinct lace appliqué at the bottom so I was really nervous I wouldn’t be able to shorten it. Victoria worked her magic and shortened the dress, you couldn’t even tell that it had been hemmed in the skirt part, it looked like the same dress! Her eye for the small details is amazing, she noticed a few other places to alter the dress so that it fit perfectly. I highly recommend Victoria for your wedding dress alterations! -

Victoria was truly a joy to work with even though COVID-19 got in the way of our wedding celebrations. Her attention to detail, abundant experience, and extensive knowledge really made my wedding dress!! She came up with an incredibly unique and beautiful way to bustle my dress and even changed the straps to a V-shape to be even more flattering on me!! Victoria was recommended to me by Savvi Formalwear and Bridal, which is where I got my wedding dress. Our original wedding plans for May were canceled due to COVID-19, but we still wanted to have a backyard elopement (with my dress on!). Since we moved up our date by several weeks, I asked if she could have all the alterations + steaming of my dress done and ready for when my first fitting was scheduled, and she made it happen! I am so happy with how my dress turned out!! The dress fit me so perfectly! I'd love to share photos, but I have to wait until I wear my dress again at our reception next year :)

Victoria made my dress tailoring the easiest part of my wedding planning!! I was a bride coming from out of town back to my hometown, and she worked with me every step of the way. She made sure she had time for me when I was in town which lifted a lot of stress off of me. My dress was beautiful, and after she altered it, I felt amazing! She was fast and efficient and her work was beautiful! She even took the time to patiently explain putting up the bustle to my matron of honor. My dress didn’t come on until Dec 10th and my wedding was on Feb 1. Victoria quickly turned around a very difficult alteration - lots of lace on tulle, manual sewing. Choosing Victoria's Bridal Alterations for my wedding dress was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was professional, responsive, and did an amazing job making my dress look great. She was so patient, even after we encountered several snafus with the petticoat (an error on the dress vendor's part, not hers). Victoria does truly incredible work. Before I went to her for alterations, I thought my dress almost perfectly fit even though there were a few things I knew we'd have to get altered. When I went back for my second fitting, it was like she had custom made that dress for me. It fits like an absolute glove and looks 100x better than when I first went in. She also created the most beautiful 15-point bustle (that must have been sooo much work!). I highly recommend Victoria! -

I absolutely would refer!
I would send anyone I know here! I had a very short engagement of 4 months. I had to pay to rush order my dress and by the time I received it I had just a few weeks before my wedding. I was under stress and worried no one would be able to get it back to me in time. Not only was it timely but it was GORGEOUS. I was able to choose a different bustle than traditional and it was stunning and didn't take attention away from the details on the back of the dress. Everything was phenomenal! -

I was so lucky to be referred to Victoria a week before leaving for my wedding. I had a disappointing experience with another alterations place but Victoria was able to fix the mistake and complete a 15 point bustle in less than a week. Victoria is an absolute doll. She really helped elevate my dress and create a custom fit. My dress - with a full open back - required a lot of boarding to be added to keep it up, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Still required some fashion tape, which I was anticipating. Victoria was so easy to work with and prompt with her work. I did not seek alterations until ~2 months before the big day and after just one consultation, my dress was ready and perfect within just a few weeks. Truly believe it was very good value - price wise.

Victoria is AMAZING at what she does. She took in my dress from a size 12, to a size 4 in the waist, and 6 in the top, and the dress was ABSOLUTELY stunning!!! Victoria was fantastic when it came to altering my wedding dress! I originally bought my dress from David’s Bridal, and had it altered there. Each time I went in for a fitting at David’s Bridal something new was wrong with the dress. After my fourth fitting, I followed my gut and took my dress home and did a little research. I stumbled upon Victoria’s website and set up a consultation. She responded quickly, and I got in to see her ASAP. She showed me all of the things that were wrong with the dress, and helped walk me through different styles of bustles she could do. I left that appointment feeling a thousand times more confident than I did when I left my dress at David’s Bridal.
I went in for my final fitting and the dress was perfect! Victoria’s skills, professionalism, and demeanor helped to make what was a frustrating experience into a positive one. I would highly recommend her services to any bride! -

Hands down, the BEST! Not only is Victoria a true artisan of her craft, but she is a sweet soul and an absolute joy to work with.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Victoria professionally, watching her work her magic for countless brides, creating works of art and making visions and dreams literally come true. So, when it was time for me to get my own gown altered, there was no question in my mind that Victoria was the ONLY one I’d let touch my dress. She was able to create a removable sheer overlay so that I could have sleeves for my ceremony and a strapless look for my reception. She had my complete trust the entire process, and delivered a perfect-fitting, convertible dream gown.
The alterations process can easily be one of the biggest stressors of the wedding planning process. Do yourself a favor and trust a true artist like Victoria! I’m so glad I did! -

Very talented and professional!
I have known Viktoria for a few years and have seen how professional and talented she is with even the most difficult or unique bridal gowns and brides. When it came time for me to get my own wedding gown altered I knew I wanted to work with Viktoria, even though I now live about 4 hours away. We ordered extra lace from the designer of my gown to be able to create custom long sleeves; however my gown was purchased as a sample and was slightly darker than the new lace we ordered for the sleeves. Viktoria perfectly dyed the new fabric to match the color of the dress and created the most BEAUTIFUL sleeves. She also took in my gown, hemmed it, added bust cups, and added a stunning french bustle. I had such a great alterations experience and I felt truly beautiful on my wedding day. I highly recommend working with Viktoria!!! -

Amazing Experience
Victoria is an incredibly skilled tailor with years of experience. She is warm, engaging and immediately put me at ease the first day we met. My wedding dress needed to be taken in two sizes. In short notice and with a single fitting, she was able to alter the dress perfectly. The double French bustle she created on my dress was stunning and she worked with my friend to teach her how to properly bustle it. The dress turned out beautifully, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Her prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional tailor. -
