Brian was perfect for us

Brian was very easy to work with. He was polite and very prompt. His photography packages were very approachable for all desired price ranges in any budget. We had found a specific night time photo on his website that we wanted to copy and he was very excited to help us with that. We chose his 2 photographer option and Brian clearly has a network of high quality photographers. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

The best photos!!

We had the best best best experience working with Brian for our wedding day photos. His assistant Jeff was also great! They were both so friendly and professional, and knew exactly how to pose us, our families and our wedding party for the best pictures. He scouted out the best spots at our venue, and came to grab us for gorgeous sunset pictures. Before the wedding, he asked all of the right questions so he had all of the information on our wedding day regarding key family members and shots that we wanted. The final products were spectacular, and we will cherish these memories forever. We can’t wait to create our included lay flat album with these photos. We only wish that we lived in the area so that we could have done engagement shots with him! We highly recommend Brian for capturing your timeless photos for any occasion!

Brian is amazing!

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Brian Sullivan. I reached out to Brian in June 2019 for our wedding in October 2020. He replied that day letting me know that he was available and we were able to meet with him that same weekend. Brian was the first photographer we met with and we knew that we wanted to hire him immediately! His work is gorgeous. He even drove to Rhode Island to take our engagement pictures at sunset. We had to reschedule a few times due to weather and it was no problem at all! On the wedding day, he is very laid back and not intrusive at all. He takes amazing candid shots getting ready and of your guests as well. We received all of our wedding pictures a little over 2 weeks after the event. He is also very affordable. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. I will be recommending Brian to all of our friends and family getting married in the area. We can’t thank him enough for the gorgeous pictures!

The perfect photographer for our perfect day.

We are so happy that we chose Brian to capture our wedding festivities. He is one of the more reasonably priced photographers for how talented he is at his job. He pays close attention to detail and framing the perfect shot. Our package included engagement photos and he went to three different locations with us so we got exactly what we wanted. He was very efficient in the short amount of time we had for formal photos and they all came out beautifully with a quick turn around time. He followed our "Photo List" to a tee, was prompt and great at communicating. Thanks for capturing the best moments of our day, Brian! I’ve attached some of our favorite photos to this review.

Everything we wanted

I would recommend Brian to anyone. It was very important to me that my wedding felt like a wedding and not like a photoshoot. Everything we wanted, Brian was flexible and delivered. He is kind, unobtrusive, respectful, punctual, and professional. We were a very laid-back bride and groom and Brian not only gave us suggestions on photos but was also open to listening to our ideas. He also did our engagement photos in July when it was 105 degrees and was an absolute champ about it, never complained. I would choose Brian again in a heartbeat.

Brian is the best!

Brian photographed our wedding in September 2018 in Sturbridge, MA and we are so happy that we worked with him! The photos we have of our day beautifully captured the people and special moments of our celebration. He was wonderful to work with: very professional, responsive, and interested in hearing what we wanted. More than anything, he is such a kind human being - when we had had to reschedule our wedding day due to circumstances beyond our control, he was very understanding and worked with us on plans for the new day. We're so happy that he was our photographer!

Brian was our photographer for our recent January wedding, at the Garden House at Look Park. He was the absolute BEST choice we could have made for our wedding. From when we first contacted him, to our engagement pictures, to the wedding itself, he was accommodating, kind, and helpful! He responded quickly to any questions we had, and was early for each time we met!
The quality of our engagement and wedding pictures was astounding - 100x better than what I could have ever imagined! Our families were so impressed with how beautiful the photos are, and the large number we have to choose from too! Brian really has an eye for what will look good, and how to arrange family and friends for portraits! Even during the chaos of getting ready and during the reception, he still managed to get some beautiful detail shots of my dress, bouquet, and our rings.
If you're looking for an amazing, reliable, and dedicated photographer, Brian should be your first choice! Thank you again for making our day so special and giving us so many memories to look back on!

Brian did an AMAZING job capturing both our Engagement and Wedding photos. They came out great and we received so many compliments. He has a true talent and an eye for capturing those special moments. The entire process was stress free and Brian was very accommodating and flexible (and fairly priced). Brian did our engagement photos and our wedding photos at UMass Amherst. He is fantastic. He takes great photos, has great ideas, is open to your own ideas, and easy to work with. Brian photographed our wedding about 3 weeks ago and we could not be happier that we hired him. Brian was so kind and patient with our demands for the pictures that we wanted. He was unobtrusive and did not once get in the way. Brian is reasonably priced compared to other photographers. We got our pictures back in a timely fashion and are so pleased with the way they came out! Brian was the best choice we made when it came to our wedding!! Highly recommend!!

The quality of services that Brian provided to us for our engagement and wedding pictures was exceptional. Brian is very friendly and was very receptive to our wishes. Our engagement and wedding pictures were absolutely beautiful, the quality of them were AMAZING. We had such a difficult time picking favorites for our wedding album because there was not a single picture we did not life. We highly recommend using Brian Sullivan photography !!

Brian recently photographed my wedding on July 7th. He did an amazing job, and the pictures look fantastic! I tend to be critical of pictures of myself (as many people are) but I didn't dislike a single one. He took so many that I was able to choose the best (which was hard to do because so many were great). He is very affordable, especially for the quality of his work. We hired him for 8 hours and he came early and stayed late in order to get more shots. He remembered well some of the pictures that I wanted. He didn't give a ton of direction for the group shots, he allowed the bridal party to be themselves and let their personalities show, and different people could request certain pictures, which was nice. He did give good direction when needed, but was relaxed enough to get some good candid photos that really captured the day. As a bonus he was also really quick getting the pictures back to us!

Brian was wonderful to work with. An absolute professional, and so easy to work with. The photos we got were not only high quality, but stylistically matched our personality. I know that sounds odd, but you could really tell he got to know us throughout the night and gave us some great creative photos in addition to the standard wedding photo fare. Pricewise, Brian is totally worth it. More affordable than many other photographers, but maintaining the same quality of photos. I worked for a wedding photo company, so I have seen thousands of wedding albums...Brian's work holds up 100%. Payment and communication was super easy, and on the night of he was just so great to work with. We are so pleased with his work, and I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone I know.

Brian did an amazing job hooting our wedding. We could not ask for more. He captured everything beyond our wildest imagination. He was very suggestive and never made us feel like we were "posing" for pictures. We would rate him higher than 5 stars but it won't let us. Brian was recommended to us by another couple and we will do the same. There are many other photographers out there but to pick someone other than Brian Sullivan is mistake. He will make your dreams come true and give you the pictures you want on your wedding day. Photographers need to be flexible and Brian was. He captured everything in a timely fashion and we got to enjoy some of cocktail hour instead of being stuck taking picture after picture after picture. He let us decide what we wanted and offered his suggestion when we were stuck. Again, Brian made everything so special we were LUCKY to have had him as our photographer!!!!!!!!

Brian did an awesome job!!! He was very professional but also personable and kind. Not to mention all the pictures he gave us were gorgeous! I am very indecisive and he was able to capture all the things I wanted even if I did not give him specific directions. It was freezing the day of the wedding and he still got all the pictures we wanted outside! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!

Brian was wonderful to work with! He was our photographer at our wedding at the end of July 2015 in Amherst, MA. We planned our wedding from a distance, and he was easy to speak with on the phone and coordinate all of the details.
We discussed the style of photos we preferred, a combination of candid and a few posed.
He was very unobtrusive and calm, even when we felt a bit flustered!
He also snuck us outside at sunset and captured some amazing sunset photos.
We were very pleased and pleasantly surprised with all of the creative shots he was able to take. We’ll cherish the photos!

Let the easiest decision you make while planning your wedding be who you use for a photographer and choose Brian Sullivan. Not only is he an excellent photographer, he is super easy going, flexible and accommodating. My now husband and I looked into several different photographers and then were referred to Brian through friends who had used him for their wedding. When first meeting with him and seeing his work, we couldn't believe how reasonable his prices were! We are so pleased with how both our engagement and wedding pictures came out, we couldn't have asked for more! So attentive, he goes above and beyond...even hand delivered prints we ordered to our front door!!! You simply won't find anyone better. We spoke with several photographers in the western Mass area, and decided to go with Brian because of the quality of his photographs and the value of his engagement/ wedding photo packages. We were very happy with the results! Brian was great to work with- very flexible in scheduling, patient, and helpful in planning. His prices are by far the best we found for quality work. And the photos turned out great!

We could not have been happier with Brian's work. We are very laid back and didn't really have a clue of ideas for posing and types of pictures we wanted. He worked with us and had great suggestions that made beautiful pictures. He was also respectful of the ceremony and wasn't in anyone's faces. Brian does amazing work! I felt very strongly about the photographer we chose, seeing as those would be the only captured memories of the day. After seeing Brian's work and talking with him, we felt confident in our choice! We got our photos back so quickly! When we looked through them, it was like reliving the day again. Brian was great!!! This man was absolutely incredible! When I give him a 5-star rating in every category, he deserves a 10! Brian was very prompt and professional right from the start. I was planning a wedding from a distance, so it was awesome to hear from him so quickly and not to have to wait around!
The price of Brian's photography was extremely generous, but on top of that, he gave us a considerable off-season discount, as well as coupons toward our purchases. He also gave his recommendations on where else we could print photos, if we should choose to print them on our own. He came across as very selfless and caring, but professional at the same time.

Brian also helped me nail down a location for our outdoor pictures (which was outside his job description). Maybe he took pity on the girl planning a wedding from a distance and decided to help me out (a winter wedding at that!) I also noticed he stayed a bit late at our reception, so he could grab a few more candids. I am so thankful he did!

As for the pictures themselves, HE CAPTURED THE MOMENTS of our day in a way that is absolutely astounding. Every single moment where something joyful, emotional, or meaningful happened, he was there. I don't know how he did it! Those pictures paint the whole day. I will never regret paying for his photography. He was ABSOLUTELY worth it! I cannot thank him enough...

Our ONLY regret was that we did not have more time with him! (isn't that the way weddings go?)

Oh, and one last thing...editing your photos and posting them online can take the photographer up to a few months (so I hear). With Brian, I think it was literally the day after we returned from our honeymoon...the pictures were online available for viewing!!! That may be partly due to our wedding being "off-season," but I can assure you, he will work really hard to get you your pictures in a timely manner. He's incredible...I really give him the best rating he could possibly get.

Brian was unbelieveably easy to work with. He was so flexible for setting up meeting times and has no issue traveling. He is in no way intrusive with his work and we barely knew he was there (in a good way!!). He is very professional and his pricing was so reasonable. I would highly recommend him again and again because thats how easy he made the whole process. Everything from his communication skills to his great attention to detail made him a pleasure to work with. You can easily tell through his work that he enjoys what he does and can be very creative!

I really can't say enough about Brian. He was so nice and so easy to talk to. He had great ideas and helped us pick some nice pictures to take on the day. He was always easy to get a hold of and if he didn't answer his phone, he called back within an hour or so. The second photographer he chose for our wedding was also fantastic. She was so nice and they both got wonderful pictures. We just got our pictures back and they look amazing! He had such great ideas around our venue and he made sure to get all the important ones we wanted, along with some we hadn't thought about. He also went through and made a bunch of ours in black and white which look amazing. I really can't say enough about him. He is not only a great photographer, but such a great person. He made things so easy and so much fun.

Just by looking at his portfolio, you can tell Brian does great work. What you can't see is how he moves around your wedding, snapping photos without anyone noticing. He is there while not being there and that is the only kind of photographer you want on the big day. I highly recommend him to anyone bc besides capturing our day perfectly, he is very professional and a pleasure to work with. Hire this guy if you want great wedding photos.

Our wedding took place on 4/26/13 in Old Saybrook CT and we booked Brian more than a year prior. Compared to CT photographers his prices were extremely affordable and he was willing to travel to the CT Shoreline at no additional cost. He was wonderful to work with - very professional and was very responsive to my requests for more candid shots than anything else. When I received our pictures back two weeks ago I couldn't believe some of the photos - I had no idea he was even taking our picture! Brian is not intrusive in the least and you don't even realize he is capturing your best moments. I love all our photos and I couldn't recommend a better photographer!

Brian Sullivan was fantastic! He was attentive to capturing all the "moments" that were important to us, he was creative in thinking up additional meaningful shots, and he was very flexible with our family and their special needs. Super professional and also willing to work within our budget. I'd definitely recommend him!

Brian was a pleasure to work with and was very attentive to our needs. He was very flexible when the weather didn't turn out as planned and we had to rush around and move our wedding inside. Brian listened to what I asked him to do and got some great shots. I will definitely refer Brian to my friends and family. I have nothing but nice things to say about him. Thanks Brian!!!!!!!

Brian was a great find for us. He listened to what our requirements were during our first meeting and both listened and suggested ways to realize our ideas. The day of our wedding he was not feeling well, but was professional enough to bring a second photographer to ensure our day was recorded. Highly recommended for both professionalism and service. His photographs caught our day as we remembered it and showed us the parts we were unaware of, in a style that fitted with what we had asked for.

Brian was simply AMAZING. Being a photographer myself I was caught in a pickle, I wanted the best but couldn't afford the 'best'. Well, I was wrong. Brian provided an outstanding service at a price that was more than fair.

From a technical standpoint each photo that I received was evenly light and had excellent composition. Brian was also very willing to accept my input and recommendations (I can be over the top *wink, wink*).

Professionally Brian was great, he was patient, on time, diligent, and had a great knowledge of his craft.

I don't know what is left to say but if you a torn between Brian and another photographer choose Brian, you won't be disappointed.

Brian photographed our wedding in the Berkshires almost a year ago. Brian's photography is beautiful and he captures amazing candid moments. He is also completely unobtrusive-you do not even notice his presence as he's working (I have been to numerous weddings where I end up distracted by the photographer as they are tramping around during the ceremony). He is incredibly responsive, meets with you to discuss what you are looking for, and provides a personalized service that goes above and beyond. Brian was also very helpful in helping choose photographs for the album. I would recommend him to anyone-his work is truly splendid!

Brian was very professional, friendly, punctual and creative. You didn't even know he was there at some points, and his attention to detail is outstanding. We couldn 't be more happy with our professinal pictures!! He is also very reasonable in price as we were on a budget and did a lot of shopping for a photographer.

Our photographer, Brian Sullivan, was great!!! We had the best experience with him, and of course, beautiful photographs to remember our special day/night! He met with us initially, and then we set up a time for engagement photos which came out awesome and some really nice pictures! He contacted us before the wedding to prepare and he was punctual on the wedding day, pleasant, very nice, and captured the most gorgeous pictures/moments that we will charish forever!!! He made sure to get all of our 'requested' photos, and he went above and beyond for our New Year's eve wedding, spending New Year's eve taking our gorgeous photos!!! We can't thank him enough for all of his amazing work!!! Our package pricing was very reasonable and we certainly feel we got a great deal working with such a great photographer. I had gone through a list of over 20 photographers and looked closely at a their portfolios. I had a friend who is also a photographer critique my narrowed choices. Brian was the one person out of the 20+ photographers that had the personality, value, and quality I was looking for. Photographer was one of my two most important items for my wedding seeing as I quickly forget just about everything. I loved Brian's ideas and his ability to have fun with my husband and I. He did amazing catching those unexpected shots that were not posed for, which were some of my favorites. I enjoyed him so much so that I have, and still recommend him to everyone who is looking for a photographer. I still use him each year for our family photos!

Brian was great to work with and did an awesome job at our wedding! He is so prompt and thorough when answering questions via email, which was so great as a bride trying to orchestrate all the wedding day details. On our wedding day, he managed to capture all the important shots and moments while using the "down time" (i.e. people eating) to get some detail shots, so I have pictures of everything from that day! And having a disc with all the pictures is so amazing-- I love knowing that I can print pictures whenever I want. All I can say is check out his blog-- it is a true reflection of his work and I think you'll be impressed!

Brian was an absolute pleasure to work with. Everytime I bothered him with questions [even months before the wedding!] he quickly responded and worked closely with us to capture our special moments. He even took time out of his busy schedule to meet with us at our location to walk through and hear us out on what we had in mind. The quality of his photos are great, very creative. He was extremely professional, and I'm very very glad we decided to work with him. Highly recommended!! Brian is awesome!

Brian did a beautiful job photographing our wedding. He was very respectful of what I told him about family relationships. Looking back, I wish I had asked for more family pictures, but of course I wasn't thinking too clearly that day! I recommend making sure you discuss all of this before the wedding so that you don't lose out on photographs you know you will want! That was my mix-up however, and has nothing to do with the quality of Brian's work. He travelled a decent distance to my wedding, and did not overcharge me. The prints I ordered from him were amazing too! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer!

Brian was super nice and laid back. Our location for the ceremony changed a day before the wedding and he was easy enough to get a hold of, went with the flow and it turned out great. Also for the getting ready photos, he was not in the way and I hardly noticed he was there. Best advice is to have an idea of what type of photos and style you'd like as Brian will accommodate but you'll need to give the ideas. We also didn't get a list to identify the type of family photos we wanted and after the family photos were done, we realized we didn't get any photos with us together and each other families. It's just me and my family then him and his family. It was a disappointment to realize later on that day.

Brian did a great job with our wedding pictures, as well as with our engagement pictures. He is very laid back which I appreciate, and took a ton of awesome pictures. I also love that the pics are all your's digitally to do with what you want. and that you are not pressured to purchase your prints from him.
