  Brian and his WIFE were amazing! I just got married this past NOVEMBER and his Wife basically helped coordinate things at the church! In addition to taking breathing taking photos, Brian and his team customized our needs and went above and beyond their service. Wouldn't have wanted any other photographer on our special day. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Brian continues to be in contact with me sending photos and creating customary albums! He seriously is the best!

  Just amazing!!! We used Brian for our engagement and wedding photos and he did a brilliant job! Brian's photos capture every moment perfectly...from the lighting to the formal picture posing and so on. Each moment was brought to life through his work. He and his wife, Maria, are truly a magnificent pair!! You also would never know they are there during your wedding which makes their work even more incredible! Can't wait to see more of the pictures from our wedding. Thank you!

  I found Brian back in 2011 when I was helping to plan a wedding. From the moment I met Brian and his wife Maria I knew I wanted them to photograph my wedding when the time came. I was in love with the candid moments Brian captured of other couples and the exceptional quality of his work.
  
  When I got engaged in 2014 the first phone call I made was to Brian. My fiance and I were thrilled to hear that he was available for our wedding date; we were even more thrilled when he patiently dealt with us changing our date 4 times. FINALLY our day came on 9/5/15 and Brian and Maria were as amazing as I remember from working with them in 2011. We were married in Portland Maine on the sailing vessel Frances with the most perfect weather. The images of Julie and I are so incredibly special. Brian and Maria captured our spirit and love in a way I never knew a photograph could do. I am forever grateful to have these moments in photos.
  
  Our wedding was under 40 guests and Brian and Maria felt like another couple of our close friends; they were unobtrusive but made sure to get all of the photos we had hoped for and even more.   Brian and his assistant (his wife) are amazing! They are not just photographers but make sure everything on your wedding day goes smoothly and the bride is well taken care of. They know just how to get the prefect pictures including those of a rambunctious 2.5 year old. There is no better!

  I loved working with Brian from our initial meeting. He was professional, yet easy going. He made me feel very at ease from the beginning. And if that wasn't enough, when he did our engagement photos I couldn't have been happier. I knew we had chosen the right photographer. The photos were beautiful despite the fact that my fiancé and I were freezing mid-fall. Brian met us in the South End and working quickly and efficiently. You would have never known how chilly it was from looking at our beautiful photos.
  
  Our wedding day was the opposite. End of September is traditionally cool in Boston, but not for us! It was 82, much warmer than we had anticipated. Despite that, it ended up being perfect for our outdoor photos (post ceremony) on the water at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Brian was efficient in getting everyone together for our posed photos. He eagerly obliged us by taking pictures of my husband and I on my step-fathers boat. He was able to catch the moment perfectly. A mix of us being silly, posing titanic style on the front of the boat, with some beautiful more serious ones. The sun was setting as we made our way to the reception, but not before Brian captured it and us on the docks beautifully.
  
  Brian made his way around the reception with the help of his amazing assistant Roxanna. I barely knew he was there! There are some amazing candid pictures of my husband and I, our friends and family. Looking through the pictures was like reliving the night all over again. It was by far the happiest day of my life and Brian couldn't have done a better job capturing it. His shots are breathtaking and he really has an eye for seeing things in a special way. Tears come to my eyes when I look at any of our pictures from our wedding day. There's truly not a bad one in the 1,673 shots he and Roxanna took. One of my favorite things was the fact that they both have some many great shots of us from different angles and lighting. Who needs a videographer!

  If you are looking for the best two photographers in Boston, Brian and his wife, Maria, are it! Working with them on our special day was the best experience any bride could ask for! They are kind, patient and professional, yet know how to have fun and keep your day moving along, just how you envisioned!
  
  We have a very large family and had a few formal shots with over 30 people, but that was no issue or hiccup for them. We were outside too, so lighting was a huge factor, but they made it work and our scenery is so gorgeous, it looks almost fake! We also had my 16 month old neice as our flower girl and she lit up in every photo because Brian & Maria have gorgeous kids of their own and know how to make all the little ones giggle :)
  
  During our After Party, I received a few notifications on Instagram from Brian, he had uploaded a few photos to show us how magnificent our night really was, we were so grateful! Nothing's better than a sneak peak!
  
  From the moment they both arrived to the spa where we were getting ready, to getting ready, to the first look, to ceremony and reception, we couldn't have asked for more. They kept us feeling at ease and not worrying about a single thing, which allowed us to smile and laugh all day long!

  My husband and I got married last month at the Four Seasons and we were so fortunate to have Brian Phillips and fabulous his wife Maria share our special day with us. They captured all of the important moments thoroughly and artistically. They are such a talented and dynamic duo - I felt like they were everywhere yet nowhere at the same time. Meaning, they were completely unobtrusive in their photography. Both of them were constantly surveying the background to find the perfect angle, lighting and pose for each and every shot. Added bonus: Maria also came to fix all of the ladies' hair and men's bow-ties between each photo.
  
  Brian is extremely easy-going, flexible, responsive, and nice. Within hours of the wedding, he texted me a handful of shots so I could share them at our brunch the next day (and to hold me over until the professional photos - all 1500+ of them! - would be ready just a few weeks later). My husband and I were very pleased with his quick turnaround time and of course the overall quality of his work. His documentary style is exactly what we wanted; he captured all of the great candid/reaction shots while also mastering the formals.
  
  The Red Sox World Series Championship parade was on our wedding day and Brian was happy to incorporate a few of the Sox signs/banners we had in the bridal suite (and later in the Public Garden for photos).
  
  We also did an engagement shoot with Brian in the fall and I had been worried about the weather not holding up for outdoor shots. Brian came up with some great back up options and we ended up getting beautiful photos at the Boston Public Library. Brian spent an extra 45 minutes with us and even drove us to our next vendor appointment. He truly goes ABOVE AND BEYOND!
  
  I cannot say enough nice things about Brian and Maria. We loved you guys and are so happy we had an opportunity to work with you (and will definitely be hiring you again for family photos at some point!)

  Brian and Maria are a perfect team. They made my now husband and I feel so comfortable from the moment we met. Their friendly demeanor and down to earth attitude made our wedding day a blast. They somehow managed to capture every intimate moment of our day in such a way that you can "feel" the emotion through the photos. Our family and friends even commented on how Brian and Maria interacted with them all throughout our wedding and reception and continued to comment on how friendly and polite they were and they STILL did not miss any shots. They are an incredible couple with an incredible talent. Any bride who wants to relive her day through photography....they are your team. My husband and I honstly look at our photoalbum a couple of times a month and laugh at the memories every time. Thank you so much.

  Brian and Maria took amazing pics throughout my wedding. They caught all of the most important moments without ever feeling intrusive. They worked seemlessly throughout our wedding.
