“Simply the best”. There are no words to accurately describe the magic, happiness and fun that BK&TJ brought to our wedding day this past October. When I asked my husband his favorite part of the day, he looked at me and said “Brian”. The impact they leave on those who experienced the day is everlasting, no one left the dance floor and no one has stopped talking about their performance since! They truly make you feel like family and so special. My dad’s nickname for me is “Roro”. Once Brian heard it during the FOB speech, he was calling me by that name all night. My family got a kick out of it. I did too. He has the most talented team. He recognizes every single musician and artist throughout the night and they deserve equal praise! Thank you for MAKING our wedding day. If a picture could speak a thousand words, I think the one attached does just that! We love you guys and know 2026 will bring you much success. We can’t wait to see you down at the Jersey Shore and pretend to relive our wedding night all over again. -

Brian Kirk & the Jirks absolutely made our wedding! Planning with Elizabeth was a breeze and she made sure to answer all of my questions so quickly and made me so comfortable that everything was going to run smoothly. Before the bridal party and parents even got introduced, they had everyone on the dance floor ranging from age 18 to 85. The only time the dance floor wasn't full was during dinner time when they stopped playing. Otherwise, the kept the dance floor going all night and played the perfect songs to match the vibe and keep the party going. Everything I could have imagined and more! -

"Brian Kirk and the Jirks" helped make my daughter's wedding reception at the Bonnet Island Estate in Manahawkin NJ such wonderful event. The band was terrific and the dance floor was packed from their first song to the last song. I can't thank Brian enough for putting together such a talented group of musicians that helped make my daughter's a wedding reception a very special experience!!! -

I cannot say enough good things about Brian Kirk and the Jirks! From start to finish, they completely exceeded all of our expectations and played a pivotal role in making our wedding at Hotel LBI an unforgettable celebration. If you're looking for a band that knows how to energize a crowd, create an incredible atmosphere, and keep everyone on their feet all night long, this is the band!! My husband and I first saw BKJ perform in Hoboken six years ago, and when we saw them perform again two years ago, we knew we needed to book them.
The music was absolutely phenomenal. The band perfectly blended our personal song requests with crowd favorites, seamlessly transitioning from one hit to another. The energy they brought to the stage was contagious—seriously, no one sat down the entire time! Our guests, ranging from grandparents to college friends, were all on the dance floor, completely captivated by the band's talent and infectious energy.
Brian knows how to read the room beautifully, knowing exactly when to crank up the energy or dial it back for a special moment. They interacted with every single guest, coming into the dancefloor with their sax, passing the mic to me and my husband, and even giving us the guitar at one point.
Working with Elizabeth ahead of time was also an absolute breeze. They were incredibly professional, flexible, and responsive to all of our requests. From the first email to the final song, they made the entire process so smooth. They took the time to understand our preferences and crafted a setlist that reflected our taste while also considering our guests' enjoyment. It was such a relief to know we were in great hands.
Overall, choosing BKJ was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. If you're looking for a wedding band that can deliver an electric performance and make your special day even more unforgettable, I wholeheartedly recommend Brian. They truly know how to make a wedding celebration come to life! -

I grew up going to see Brian Kirk and the Jirks play bars at the beach and when it came time to our wedding, I was delighted when they came in the recommended vendors list of our photographer (Idalia Photography). We got lucky the date was available and that they also wanted to play our unique venue, Battleship New Jersey. Every song was played live, even ones we expected them to play on CD, even our first dance song; the saxophone and the horns were incredible hits. Brian is a great master of ceremonies and got even the most sour faced older people involved before pivoting to tons of dance floor hits the rest of the night. We cut our cake to Cake and the bride came out to Jersey Girl on saxophone. It was an incredible night and everyone couldn't stop talking about the band. They made the night and we couldn't be more grateful -

Brian Kirk and the Jirks were the only band we ever considered for our wedding, and we could not be happier with that decision. The wedding was the best night of our lives and that is mostly in part due to this band!! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and all of our guests told us that it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. We've been seeing Brian at his local shows for 10 years now, but nothing even compares to the show that they put on at a wedding!! 10/10 recommend to anyone getting married! The band makes the night! -

BRIAN KIRK & THE JIRKS WAS THE ONLY WEDDING BAND WE EVER CONSIDERED!!! My now husband and I picked our wedding date on Brian's availability and I am so glad we did. After going to a few weddings with them as the band it was a non negotiable from minute one. We wanted to have the time of our lives and have all our family and friends talking about our wedding forever. Brian truly didnt disappoint. EVERY person after our wedding said THAT WAS THE BEST BAND EVER!! We are so thankful we were able to still have our 2020 wedding and couldnt imagine it without Brian Kirk & the Jirks. THANK YOU BRIAN FOR EVERYTHING AND MAKING OUR DAY SUPER MEMORABLE. We look forward to supporting you in Hoboken and Jenks soon! -

Would recommend to anyone, anywhere
Brian Kirk and the Jirks absolutely made our wedding. We have many friends and family members who are already a fan of the band, but our wedding made absolutely every one of the 220 guests into groupies. The band did an amazing job for our ceremony, Tyrone absolutely made the cocktail hour and was praised by all of our guests, Dave did a beautiful job with our first dance (and every dance after that!), and Brian Kirk helped my nervous grandma with a microphone for a toast during the reception, and even she may have a crush on him now! Our guests haven't stopped talking about all of you even approaching a year later, they were amazingly professional and fun, getting involved on the dance floor and making sure everyone had an even more amazing night than we ever ever could have imagined. Can't wait to see you all at Jenks for a reunion as soon as we can, thank you again for everything! -

Since you generally see a snapshot of a review in the beginning, let me start by saying BRIAN KIRK & THE JIRKS ARE THE ALL TIME BEST WEDDING EXPERIENCE/LIFE EXPERIENCE EVER! I would say that my husband and I are so lucky to have gotten the band to play our wedding, but in reality, I think in addition to us, all of our friends and family are lucky that they played at our wedding. To book them is a celebration in itself. If you are a Jersey Shore dweller in any capacity, you know and love them - true bliss to book them...which by the way was a pretty smooth process in itself. Their team is lovely to work with: kind, organized, responsive, flexible. The band themselves as human beings are humble, energetic, fun. The band as a whole are PURE MAGIC. They learned a few songs and even made my unique father-daughter dance song-combo dream come true. When Brian is MCing and the band is playing, people are moved to the dance floor and singing at the top of their lungs. Our wedding transformed into a live concert-party. My husband’s dad is a former musician and they even let him sing with them! While obviously I’m a bit biased in saying that our wedding was the most fun and best one ever, our guests can attest to this in large part due to Brian Kirk & the Jirks. It’s truly hard to put into words how extraordinary this band and these people are. My family and my husband’s family travel in-flock together to see them as much as possible - why not relive our wedding fun?! Thank you to the entire band and team for making our wedding dreams our reality :) -

Brian has done a few wedding for my family and it is ALWAYS the best time ever! The energy and fun they bring to every event is insane and was the highlight of our wedding! I love how interactive they are with guests and how well they can read a room with every song and situation. We loved them so much we added an extra hour of play time and had them travel 5 hours to us from out of state. They are truly the best of the best. -

If you are torn about whether or not to book Brian Kirk and the Jirks, DO IT. They are worth every penny. Our friends were concerned leading up to the wedding that we'd overhyped the band, and they couldn't believe that BK&J were STILL better than their expectations. Brian is endlessly professional and will be the best MC you could hope for, and the band is just so incredible. One of our guests said, "Every time they start playing a new song, I feel like the band who wrote that song is playing." We worked with so many amazing vendors at our wedding but I can say with confidence BK&J is the one our guests will remember most. We're already planning a trip tot he Jersey shore with friends to see them together again next summer. We are so grateful for Brian and the band making our wedding day spectacular. -

If you want have an amazing night and a band that will blow away your guests, then you need to book Brian Kirk and the Jirks. They are the best at what they do!! Our entire party was on the dance floor till midnight on a Sunday, wishing they could play more songs. We received soo many compliments as to how great they were. Brian is awesome as MC. He is interactive, entertaining, and the perfect balance as the head of the band and the MC for the night. The rest of the band is insanely talented. Their lead female vocalist Kristin even learned our first dance song and sang it beautifully. Their horn section cannot be compared. They interact with your guests and trust me, everyone will love it!! We wish we could get married and have them play for us all the time! They were the highlight of our night and our guests’ too. Thank you Brian and the rest of the band for being amazing at what you do and making our night so memorable. We recommend this band 10000%!! -

I really have no words to describe how incredible Brian Kirk and the Jirks are and how special he made our wedding. I was a fan before and then we thankfully got to sneak into their insanely packed calendar for our wedding and now we are life long fans - as is every guest who attended our wedding. Everyone came up to tell us how amazing the band was, and even ask them to play their own wedding / event. Brian, his band, and his team are true pros. With how busy Brian is he went out of his way to take multiple calls from me answering my every question and granting any special request. Nicole from his team was so responsive and a joy to work with. Brian made our wedding so special and made sure we were happy throughout the night. Besides being an amazing musician, Brian is also an amazing MC. He made our wedding the most fun party and had people of every age dancing all night. At some point I was literally hoping he'd play a song I didn't like so I could take a break lol! If you get lucky enough to have your wedding line up with one of Brian's FEW open dates, DO NOT HESITATE, book immediately. They are worth every single penny and then some. -

Amazing - Rocked the House
Brian Kirk and the Jirks are AMAZING! We had high expectations for the band and they exceeded them. We wanted our guests to leave our wedding saying that it was a rockin' good time and believe us, they did, thanks to the band. Over and over again, our guests have been raving. On top of that, they were fun, nice, approachable, and easy to work with...good peeps. -

If you’re looking for the best wedding band in the NJ area, look no further! My husband and I got married on June 30, 2019 and we knew from the start that we wanted Brian Kirk & the Jirks as our wedding band. We see them all the time in the local area and they’re always a fun time. They know how to get the crowd dancing and keep them on their feet. Our guests said they had the best time at our wedding because of the awesome band. The performers are incredibly talented and Brian is an amazing emcee (he’s hilarious).
Brian Kirk books up really fast so make sure you book them well in advance. We actually planned our wedding date around when they were available. We booked them 20 months in advance. If you want your guests to have you best time and dance at your wedding, you can’t go wrong with Brian Kirk & the Jirks! -

BOOK BRIAN KIRK RIGHT NOW! Honestly, DO IT. It will be the BEST decision you make for your wedding. Growing up on the shore, I always knew how amazing Brian Kirk and the Jirks were… BUT, WOAH was I just totally BLOWN AWAY by them my wedding night. Out of town guests immediately wanted to know who this AMAZING band was and local guests wouldn’t have missed our wedding for ANYTHING because they couldn’t wait for Brian Kirk and the Jirks… and I’m not kidding! A good friend had a health issue the day before our wedding and she said “the band was way too good” to miss out on the wedding, and she came and just DANCED her worries away!
His coordinator, Nicole, is SO KIND and easy to work with. Brian Kirk is seriously the most fun master of ceremonies and he and his band gave electrifying energy ALLLLLL night. The entire wedding was on the dance floor dancing the night away. The band interacted with ALL guests and TRULY made our wedding.
I can’t stop watching videos from the night because of how amazing Brian Kirk and the Jirks were - they even got my 93 year old great aunt up and dancing the night away on the dance floor.
I cannot thank Brian Kirk and all other band members enough. Thanks to you guys, I had an unforgettable, fun filled night that I didn’t want to end!! Everyone could have stayed all night dancing to your music… and you gained a number of new fans who want to follow you all around!! So, if you still haven’t booked Brian Kirk yet, book them NOW. It will be the single best decision you make for your night. -

Why have a DJ like everyone else when you can have THE best band in NJ? It's been a month since our wedding and everyone is STILL raving about how amazing Kirk and the Jirks was. They literally ROCKED it. Brian and the band are the best it gets. They are so incredibly talented and really know how to own a room. They played music that appealed to all age groups, their song choices were so on point, and Brian was hilarious and fun on the mic. They are willing to learn songs as well --- they especially nailed our first dance songs. They were SO special. All 280 people at my wedding were literally on the dance floor the entire time. And those horns!!! There is seriously nothing like it. Absolutely fabulous. I already have a big group who wants to check the band out at the shore this summer!
Brian and Nicole were so easy to work with the entire planning process as well. They were accommodating, caring, and super organized. They were always open to my ideas and always had great suggestions.
I can't thank Kirk and the Jirk for making our 4/6 wedding at Park Chateau "the best wedding they've ever been to" in the words of all our guests. What a great time!!! I highly recommend this band to appeal to EVERYONE in the room. You won't be disappointed. -

If you are looking for the BEST band for your wedding then look no further - book Brian Kirk and the Jirks RIGHT NOW! They are easily the most talented band based in New Jersey and they absolutely kill it at weddings! After hearing them a few times in Hoboken and down the Jersey shore, we knew we had to book them and have them at our wedding. Nicole, their Events Director, is fantastic to work with. She makes the entire process of booking and planning SO easy and she is always available and quick to respond to any questions along the way. We gave the band an idea of the the type of music we like, but ultimately left it up to them to create their set list and keep the dance floor crowded, and they did even better than we could have ever imagined! They had everyone at the reception up and dancing before dinner was even served! There was no boring dinner lull, the band got right back into it and immediately had everyone up dancing again! We still have people raving about the band 3 months after our wedding! Brian Kirk and the Jirks 100% made our reception and our wedding would not have been half as much fun without them! If you are on the fence, book them right now! You won't regret it! -

Brian Kirk & the Jirks is the absolute best in all aspects. They are extremely professional, kind, accommodating, and versatile. Each member of the band is incredibly talented and they are amazing entertainers. Whether they are playing at a bar, club, wedding, or other special event, they "kill it". We had them play at our 12/28/18 wedding and received an ample amount of comments that included words like "never seen a better band", "the most amazing time ever", "Wow, just WOW!". I can’t even express how awesome Brian Kirk and the Jirks are!!! They absolutely MADE the wedding the best party ever! The band coordinator was very easy to deal with in the planning. And we couldn’t have been happier with Brian and the rest of the band on the night of the wedding! He makes you feel like you’ve known him forever and totally leads the party! The band/music was the most important to me for the wedding, and therefore was our biggest splurge and it was 1000% worth it! You won’t regret hiring them (if you can find an available date, that is!!) -

For years my friends and I have enjoyed going our in this area to listen to Brian play great music but they really step it up when it comes to weddings! Every single member of the band is extremely talented, friendly and accommodating. From learning new songs in preparation for your big day to feeling the crowd and playing the right songs in the moment, this band does everything in their power to make sure you and your guests have the best night possible! I can't thank them enough for being part of our wedding day and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have the most fun reception they can imagine!

Nicole, the band's manager was extremely professional, always responded to my emails quickly and had a great attention to detail. To use the work phenomenal to describe the band and the wedding reception experience is almost an understatement. Brian was an excellent and personable MC and of course the music was everything we wanted and more. All of our guests commented on how great the band was and told us that it was the best wedding they had every been too. I can't wait to use them again in the future,
