I couldn't imagine my day without Brett!

I cannot say enough about Brett. I don't know how I would have gotten through my day without her. Not only is she an incredibly talented hair and beauty expert she is sooooo much more! I made the wise decision to hire Brett for touch-up hours for our wedding. Brett helped our photographer who wasn't familiar with the Minneapolis area (Brett is also a talented photographer), took care of our crazy ring bearers, flower girls, and jr. ushers (she's a kid whisperer and somehow had them all calm and ready to go down the aisle before I stepped out), handed me champagne whenever I needed it, cleaned my dress when it got dirty, and at one point she event cleaned the bottom of my feet for me. She read my mind for everything I needed and ALL DAY my bridal party told me how amazing Brett was. Brett is basically a wedding fairy godmother. She's talented, helpful, knowledgeable, and also super fun to be around! One of the best recommendations I could ever make for anyone getting married.

There is no one better in the business than Brett and her team! I was over-the-moon excited that I was able to book her for my hair and makeup and working with her was all-around one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. What an experience!

Not only is Brett an incredibly talented makeup artist and hair stylist, she is beyond professional, organized, and runs her business like a BOSS. She responded to all my messages quickly and it was very easy to coordinate both my trial run and wedding day schedule. She has her finger on the pulse of the wedding industry and is completely in-tune with changing trends and with what her clients want. She is also so caring, kind, is an incredible listener and has a wonderful sense of humor. Her studio space is like no other. I loved spending the morning of my wedding in her charming and beautiful space, drinking coffee and relaxing with my wedding party.

Brett and Sarah Christine did hair and makeup for me, my matron of honor, my mother, my mother-in-law and our two flower girls and everyone LOVED how they looked! The moms were a little nervous and didn’t want to look too “done up” but both said they never felt more beautiful and loved the whole experience. I was feeling very nervous the morning of my wedding and Brett and I had a wonderful talk while she did my hair and makeup. Her calming, soothing presence helped me relax, enjoy myself and I felt my anxiety slip away as she made me look like the most beautiful version of myself. I looked gorgeous and received many compliments from family and friends on how wonderful I looked.

Brett is the BEST for a reason! I am so thankful she was with me on my wedding day and made me look and feel like the best version of myself.

Brett is a truly phenomenal stylist and artist! I could not have made a better selection in who to trust for my wedding day styling. I selected her based on her website portfolio in which she uniquely tailors the makeup and hairstyle to each individual and keeps it simple, making each person a polished version of themselves rather than overdoing the hair or makeup simply because it is for wedding photos. When my husband saw me after the trial (for a set of engagement photos) and again on the wedding day, he commented both times that he was so impressed that he really couldn't tell I had that much more makeup on than usual (I am usually very minimalist), so that speaks to how natural she keeps the makeup. Brett has a beautiful eye and is creative - I showed her some hairstyles I liked and described some things I did and did not want, and she created the perfect style for me. She is incredibly receptive to adjustments (mild changes to lip color, or preferences of certain looks or styles). She uses top quality makeup and lashes. I have tons of hair and my head was super comfortable despite all the required pins! My bridal party (very wide range of casual and relaxed to more perfectionist girlfriends and mothers) all felt like royalty with Brett's team (an incredible group of lovely stylists!) and many felt it was the best hair and makeup they had had at a wedding. Brett took notes during the trial that she brought with her on my wedding day, so she was completely prepared and I could relax and spend time with my bridal party and not worry about last minute adjustments because she already had it all completely under control. Brett made a huge impact on getting my wedding day off to the right start and helping me feel truly beautiful and relaxed and she and her team are an excellent choice for any style of bride!

Brett is not only extremely talented and professional but she is also a joy to be around! She did my hair/make up for engagement photos and hair for me, my 8 bridesmaids + Mom on our wedding day. Everyone loved how their hair turned out. Brett was one of the vendors that I did not worry about for a second. She is so organized and helped to make our big day run smoothly. Hiring Brett and her team was hands down some of the best money I spent on my wedding day. She made me feel like the best version of myself and her team did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids and the moms. Everyone was professional, timely and friendly. When we had an outside issue during our getting ready portion of the morning, Brett handled it with grace and helped to calm me down. She answered all of my questions quickly and was so friendly throughout the whole process.

Brett was awesome! She and her team did hair and makeup for myself, my entire bridal party, MOB, and MOG. She was fantastic to work with. Five stars all the way around. What I appreciated most was her intuition, it was like she knew what I wanted even when I could not put it into words. Touch up hours were a lifesaver in the 90+ degree heat. My mother told me later how much more at ease she felt just knowing Brett was there. Thanks for making the day run SO smoothly Brett.

Brett and her team were absolutely amazing! She did hair and makeup for my engagement session as well as for the wedding day. Scheduling was straightforward and easy for both, and there was no concerns throughout my entire experience. I actually have no idea how to do hair and makeup and I had a difficult time trying to articulate to Brett what I was thinking for the wedding. I had a general idea in my head, but Brett was able to take my few rambling ideas and turn them into what I didn't even know I wanted (which was perfect) for my wedding day. We also rented the studio for the morning and a few of my bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done as well. The space was perfect for just hanging out and getting a few pictures before the ceremony. I can't recommend Brett enough- we had an amazing time :)

Hiring Brett and her team for my bridal party hair and makeup was a great decision. Brett did an excellent job of making me feel like the “best version” of myself on my wedding day! Everyone looked stunning and the hair and makeup still looked fresh, even after late night dancing. Brett is friendly, professional and easy to work with; scheduling an initial meeting and the trial run was also a breeze using the online scheduling tool. After my initial meeting with Brett, I knew that my bridal party and I would be in good hands for our hair and makeup for my April wedding.

Brett and her team did hair and makeup for me, 9 bridesmaids, grandma of the groom, and mom of the groom. She was worth every penny! Any time I needed to make a change to our schedule, she had no problem doing it.. Even the week of the wedding! Everything went smoothly and according to schedule. Brett was there for “touch up” hours and helped to make sure not only my makeup and hair was perfect, but that my dress was perfect, and every other bridesmaids’ hair and makeup were great for pictures. It was so nice knowing I did not have to worry about things going right in the hair and makeup department on the big day. It was the best decision booking with Brett! :)

I really can't say enough about Brett. Her portfolio doesn't begin to do her work justice. She was able to capture *exactly* the look I wanted for my wedding, and even improved upon what I had imagined. Simply put, Brett is incredible. She was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding, and I could not be more happy with that decision. Brett is beyond talented, but she has this uncanny quality to make you feel at ease and brings out your true beauty. She and her team did my wedding party's hair and makeup flawlessly. They all know how to listen to what you want and give good suggestions. My wedding was on Dec. 30, and the weather was nearly 20 degrees below zero! Brett spent the entire day with us and braved the cold for outdoor pictures. She was amazing - never complained and made she I looked perfect in every picture. You will not be disappointed with Brett and her team.

Brett was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process! From meeting with her the first time, my bridal trial run, to the actual wedding day, I do not have a single negative thing to say! She makes it her mission to have you feel comfortable and look your absolute best for your special day. On the day of my wedding, Brett and her whole team were absolutely fantastic. We were able to be relaxed all morning in her gorgeous studio. As every bridesmaid and mom was styled, we were wowed by how everyone looked absolutely flawless. Our pictures have been turning out amazing, and a huge part of that was due to makeup and hair by Brett and her team! Brett and her team were outstanding. We did a two day wedding with her, and not only is she a lovely person -- totally witty and a fabulous conversationalist (I mean, hello. Two days. That's a lot of chitchat time!), her work really speaks for itself. She was super receptive to feedback, and it was wonderful how flexible she was, especially when things didn't go entirely as planned on day 2! Hair and make-up is a significant expense for weddings, and while Brett may be on the pricier end of a number of the artists I looked at, I think her work, and the time we spent with her and her team, was worth every penny, from her professionalism and work ethic to her amazing work!

I started calling Brett my "hair and makeup wizard" and "guardian angel" during my wedding day. This woman is passionate, brilliant, talented and SO MUCH FUN to work with. She is a makeup and hair expert and truly understands what will work with your unique features to enhance your beauty. She is a consummate professional and truly listens to what you want your wedding look to be...and delivers. Her work lasted all day and night, and that's saying a lot as we had a 85+ degree day with lots of lovely Minnesota humidity. I had guests approach me around 11PM asking "how do you still look so gorgeous?!". We had a very long family photo session pre-ceremony, and Brett didn't just adjust my hair and makeup, she helped keep my husband looking great, brought me water and champagne, and offered an incredibly calming, soothing presence that kept me grounded during some very stressful moments. Having her around was soothing and relaxing and she truly made my day so special. Love this woman!

Brett was a pleasure to work with for our April 2017 wedding. I was planning our St. Paul wedding from out of state, so finding a reliable hair and makeup artist was super important to me. She was without question the most professional hair and makeup artist I contacted, and she made booking a breeze. Brett is really talented and her work speaks for itself (and lasts all day!) Brett was one of my favorite wedding vendors! Everyone looked and felt incredible! I opted to add her touch up hours to have her with us until after the ceremony, and my photographer said it was the best decision of my wedding. She kept us looking flawless on a VERY windy day! "Artistry" is spot-on. Brett delivers more than make-up, hair or photos: she can take your vision or idea and make it a reality while maintaining your personal authenticity. It takes more than a trained eye and practice to deliver on a vision: it takes an understanding of "who" the people are, the context of the "theme" the client is considering, the real (and perhaps not obvious) focus and goal of the images and the ability to work with a lot of moving parts. Brett is very sophisticated and skilled in all aspects of her work and took the time to LISTEN and UNDERSTAND what we were looking for and did some research on her own to make sure we found just the right location to serve as the backdrop for our styled photographs. Truly a great experience, and all of the other vendors we worked with as part of our wedding that did not already know Brett personally asked for her information so that they could be sure to connect and work together again.

Brett was INCREDIBLE at making me look and feel gorgeous for both our engagement shoot and wedding day with professionalism, positivity, and class. Having a talented makeup artist was a high priority for me when planning the wedding, and our selection of Brett Dorrian Artistry couldn’t be beat. Her work is personalized, glamorous, and lasts throughout the entire day. She captured my spirit as an individual, and I loved how comfortable she made all of us feel just hours before the wedding. I was dealing with some issues with the hotel block before her arrival to the get-ready room, so my heart was racing and I was feeling pretty stressed out. Then, Brett worked her magic and made everyone feel at ease and reestablished the feelings of calm and happiness that we needed in that moment. My grandmother and mother had never had their makeup professionally done before, and the results were spectacular. My grandmother kept telling people how special that Brett made her feel, which absolutely warmed my heart. People cannot stop talking about how much I looked like the beautiful bridal figurine on top of a wedding cake…Trust me, you will be so glad that you booked this vendor for your big day!

Brett is THE best in the business. Not only is she amazing at her job but she's so fun to hangout with!!

I don't wear a ton of makeup on a day-to-day basis so I didn't want to look like I was wearing a lot of makeup for my engagement/wedding pictures (Brett did makeup for both!). Her work was just amazing. My engagement pictures turned out great. And I know our wedding pictures will be just as wonderful.

I felt beautiful on my wedding day--elegant but still myself.

Brett and her team also did an amazing job with my bridesmaids and my mom. Everyone loved them and loved how they looked!

Brett Dorrian and her team did a fantastic job with my makeup (bride) and my bridesmaids. Not only did everyone look and feel beautiful, but her team was extremely accommodating when it came to us using their studio for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Many of bridesmaids commented how comfortable, pretty and "girly" their space was for us to get ready in- which added more excitement to the day, but Brett was also just super helpful. She has accommodated many, many brides so her opinion, perspective and overall help was instrumental in setting the tone for the rest of the day. I would definitely recommend Brett's team, especially if you're looking for more than just a great makeup artist!!

I was forced to look for a new hair & makeup artist for my wedding on very short notice and was relieved when Brett waived the minimum for me after checking that an artist was still available for my date. Megs was my hair & makeup artist, and she was amazing!! Professional, friendly, patient and talented are all words that come to mind. My husband had a significant say on the type of look I chose for our wedding day, and without him seeing the trial run or being present on the day of our wedding, she captured the look in such a beautiful way. I felt incredible after she was finished, and my radiance amped up after my husband saw me for the first time and he was completely speechless. After he yanked his jaw off the floor, I believe the words "gorgeous," "stunning," and "amazing" came out of his mouth. That was the exact reaction I was hoping for! Definitely a wedding "splurge" that was worth every penny. Thank you, Megs, so, so much!

I can't say enough great things about Brett and her team! She is one of those people you meet and want to immediately become friends with - she puts you at ease, is funny, sweet, and truly so talented. Not only did she make me look my absolute best, but she's a lifesaver! On my wedding day, I had the unfortunate experience of having an allergic reaction near my eyes, and Brett was super helpful calming me down, giving advice on reducing the reaction, and did an AMAZING job of covering up the redness, you couldn't even tell that it had happened! I was incredibly pleased, and so were my mother and bridesmaids that also had their hair and makeup done by Brett and her team member Kayla. Everyone looked beautiful, both in person and in pictures, which is a really hard thing to do. The makeup was just the right amount, not too overdone, and the hair styles were spot on and beautifully executed! If you are thinking about the airbrush - just do it! I really looked flawless in my photos because of it. You want Brett on your big day - whether it's a wedding or a special event. Brett and her team were beyond fantastic in every way. Meeting with Brett for the first time, you instantly get a sense for how seriously she takes her business and how high her standards are. Brett was an absolute gem to work with! I randomly found her through her Facebook page, and am I sure glad I did! Meeting with Brett is like meeting with an old friend. She is so easy to talk to, and really listens to what you are looking for when it comes to your look. After my first meeting, I knew I had to have her do my hair and makeup for my wedding. On my big day, Brett showed up with another artist from her team to do hair and makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids, and my mom. Both Brett and Kayla listened to each person regarding their look, and flawlessly executed the direction that was given. Everyone looked beautiful! There is a fine line between being overly glam and made up, and enhancing natural beauty. Brett and her team definitely make you feel like the best version of yourself!

The best part was having Brett with me throughout the day to help do touch ups for pictures. It ended up being a hot, windy day in June, so Brett not only helped keep me looking beautiful and my makeup looking fresh, but she also went above and beyond, and helped some other bridal party members from "glowing" too much.

Hiring Brett was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! She is so sweet, friendly, and professional. I can't wait until I can work with her again!

I really enjoyed working with Brett and her team. I was very worried about my makeup and (especially) hair on my wedding day. I am very picky and expected to critique the "poof", etc. She nailed it on the first try. Her touching up during photos was a huge plus and freed up my mom who otherwise would have been with me. All around great experience from a beyond picky bride. Thanks Brett!

Brett and her crew were awesome! The Bride and Bridesmaids, Jr Bridesmaid, 2 Personal Attendants all looked awesome and so natural. I also had my hair and make-up done (Mother of the Bride) and I don't usually wear much make-up but I totally felt at ease with what they did. We didn't looked like we had a ton of make-up "caked" on. Again, so natural and gorgeous and it lasted the whole day. Each of the girls' hair was done in a way that fit their own personal style yet reflected what the Bride was going for for the day. Brett and her staff were amazing to work with!

I give Brett Dorrian's team 5 stars with no hesitation! A couple years ago I had been told to check out Brett's company website and knew right away that I would book her for my wedding day. When booking Brett and meeting at our first consultation meeting, I knew it was the right fit and right decision. Once I booked her, it relieved all my stresses for the big day. Brett and her team show the HIGHEST professionalism in book keeping, scheduling, and responding to client's questions and needs. In this industry, I noticed that most vendors overlook this large part of the business for what makes them successful. I recommend having Brett and her team cover all bridal needs that includes full bridal makeup, full makeup for the Mothers and bridal party. My goal as a bride was to make sure my Mother's and bridal party felt as beautiful and confident as I did and they SURE DID! Words can't express my gratitude. I have known that Brett does great work for many years. I used to work in the wedding industry and knew that when the day came that I would need to plan a wedding, it would need to be built around her schedule. I called her soon after I got engaged to see when she was available. She also helped me select a beautiful venue that fit the feel we were going for on our day.

Brett did GREAT work. I felt beautiful and all of my bridesmaids and my mom felt lovely. I am so glad that Brett was there to doll us up on my wedding day. Her assistant, Kayla, also did a great job. I recommend Brett to anyone who knows they want to look their best on their wedding day. She is a miracle worker.

I cannot recommend Brett and her team of talented artists enough! I had known of Brett and her work for years prior to my wedding, so when my husband and I started discussing dates, I immediately reached out to Brett to make sure she was available. Brett is more than just a hair and makeup vendor – I booked the “triple threat” which included photography as well (also wonderful), but she also helped me outline a wedding day timeline and connected me with other great vendors. She was very responsive to emails, and she always met any deadlines she gave me (e.g. turnaround time on photos).

Brett took our engagement photos and met with me for a bridal trial run. I tend to refer to myself as “hair and makeup challenged” so having Brett’s eye for shape, movement and color was a huge relief. I knew I was in good hands, and I never worried for a moment that I would look anything less than my best for my special day. Conveniently, because Brett also did our photography, she was at the wedding and was able to keep an eye on my hair and makeup and do any necessary touch ups throughout the day (which were necessary because it rained on our outdoor picture session, but only minimally because the airbrushing worked so well!).

I wanted my wedding day to be special for my family and bridesmaids too, so I hired the entire Brett Dorrian Artistry team to do hair and makeup for everyone in the wedding – 14 ladies, 13 men, and myself. The team came prepared, dealt with a frustrating hotel hiccup very professionally, kept to the schedule perfectly, and even provided music to set the mood for the day. They were receptive to my bridesmaids’ requests (even the pickiest ones) and everyone loved being pampered for the day. Where to start with the AMAZING Brett Dorrian and team. I had the most wonderful and memorable experience with them! Brett is so talented and so fun to work with. My bridal trial run was truly remarkable as I got to sip wine, snack on some chocolates, hang with my bestie (MOH) all while Brett did her magic. When Brett and her team arrived for the day of make up, everyone was so fun, friendly and talented. They made each one of my girls (and mothers!) look so beautiful. Everyone had different photos and inspirations to show the artists and I think its safe to say, everyone was so happy with how their individual look turned out - my girls were gorgeous! I had Brett with me from getting ready in the morning through the cocktail hour - and it was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding process! From our trial run to getting ready in the hotel room on the morning of our wedding, Brett listened, took direction, and made my vision a reality. She was both personable and professional. We were married August 1st, a hot day (but not even the hottest during the week) and to have Brett there every step of the day to ensure I was staying fresh (blotting sweat, dabbing powder, even providing water bottles) was more beneficial than I ever could have guessed prior to the wedding day. I was able to walk into our reception after Brett did a final touch up during cocktail hour feeling just as great as I felt that morning when she first did my hair and makeup. I have not seen one picture where I feel like I look sweaty or frumpy (guest or pro) throughout the entire day, and that is a feat in itself. Hiring Brett (especially to stay on through the cocktail hour) will be the best decision you'll make!

Brett and her team were beyond amazing. I hate getting my makeup done. I've never gotten it done before and liked it. So it goes without saying that I was nervous to pick out a makeup artist for my wedding. When I met Brett, I breathed a sigh of relief. She made me look like myself only way better. My makeup and hair looked great all night even through hours of sweaty dancing. A plus is that she's also incredibly sweet and not a psycho.

Brett and her team were fabulous! We were married in the small town of Bayfield, WI which was challenging to find hair stylists for our large wedding party. Luckily our wedding planner with Rosetree Events recommended Brett Dorian and we couldn't have been happier. Brett and her team showed up on time the morning of our wedding fully equipped with all the tools needed for hair and make up. We all got ready at a B&B, they played music and it was an amazingly relaxing morning which we all appreciated. All I had to do was wake up and head downstairs and Brett took care of the rest! There were 9 of us who had full hair and make up that day and everything went according to schedule and we had ample time to get our dresses on and socialize until it was time for pictures. Hiring Brett and her team is an investment but I promise it's worth the money! My hair and make up were perfect until I finally made it home around 2am. She even gives you a touch up kit for lips and face to use during the ceremony and reception. Thank you Brett and your wonderful team for beautifying me and my ladies!

Brett and her team were truly amazing! I really could go on forever about how much I LOVED working with them for my wedding. I met Brett when she styled a friend's wedding and fell in love with the way she works and does make up. When I got engaged she was my first call! Brett is not only amazingly talented, she is so fun to be around. My hair and make up trial was perfect and she listened to everything I had to say. She is 100% professional and really knows what she is doing. The actual day of the wedding Brett brought two ladies from her team to do hair and make up for my TEN people! We had a blast hanging out with them all morning and everyone looked AMAZING! I heard over and over how beautiful me and my wedding party looked. At the very end of the night my hair and make up still looked perfect. I can't recommend Brett enough!!

One of the best/easiest decisions I made was choosing Brett Dorrian and her team to do hair/makeup for our autumn wedding. Brett exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From the very first email exchange she wowed me with her promptness, professionalism, organization, flexibility, and kindness. I have always been very picky about my own hair and makeup so it was something I was quite nervous about. From the moment I stepped into Brett's studio space for my trial run, I was completely put at ease. Brett was so welcoming, easy to talk to, and open to feedback (whether it be positive or negative). She so clearly didn't take anything too personally and was only concerned about getting my look absolutely perfect for our wedding day. Throughout my 9 months of communicating with Brett via email, she not only responded to, but tracked/remembered/documented everything I sent her that I liked and didn't like as well as details about the day. Little did I know in booking my hair/makeup for our wedding, I was also investing in a mini-wedding planner! :) Brett clearly laid out a detailed agenda of services for the day of for our large wedding party. One month before the wedding, we learned of a venue/schedule-related change, Brett was so understanding, helpful, and accommodating, even though it was highly inconvenient for her team, she made it work for us by reworking a new schedule multiple times, which meant the world to me.

Our wedding day had a late start, but Brett and her team, though rushed, never appeared flustered or annoyed. Just like at my trial run, Brett put us all at ease. Our entire wedding party looked stunning. I hold Brett and her team in the highest regard, though she does countless weddings/other important events each year, she is so responsive, sweet, and accommodating, she makes you feel as though your's is the only event she has! I was lucky enough to choose Brett Dorrian & Artistry Studios for my own bridal makeup and hair, my bridal party makeup and hair, as well as day of wedding photography. Triple Threat! But honestly it becomes even more than a triple threat – Brett is so incredibly organized and professional that she truly becomes a day-of wedding planner throughout the whole process as well. I met with Brett about a year before my wedding in the midst of meeting with many photographers as well as make-up artists. After only a few minutes of meeting with Brett, I knew her and her team were it! Brett laid out the entire day for me with a timeline of hair and makeup as well as a photography timeline. If I had questions or changes I wanted to make, Brett took those with ease and made the change almost immediately. Brett is so organized and professional, yet I always felt so comfortable and at ease with her – Almost like she had been a lifelong friend! On the day of the wedding, Brett and her team were AMAZING with the makeup and hair set up. Each and every one of my bridesmaids adored their hair and makeup. My wedding makeup and hair was everything I had ever imagined it would be – Brett made me feel and look so beautiful and glamorous! Working with Brett was such a wonderful experience! From the minute that I first contacted her about getting my hair and makeup done for engagement photos, doing a trial run and the actually wedding day the experience was absolutely awesome. Brett is a strong communicator, honest, helpful and just an overall pleasant person to be around. Her team made my wedding party beautiful and the helped to make the wedding day a great success. I felt so gorgeous!

Our wedding was in northern Minnesota which was a bit more difficult to coordinate with other vendors, but Brett's professionalism made the entire experience a breeze. Brett was absolutely amazing to work with. From the moment I first got in touch with her via email, she was very receptive to my needs, and was quick to respond to all of my questions. Meeting Brett for the first time for my wedding makeup and hair trial was like catching up with an old friend! Brett immediately put me at ease, with the 3 different looks I had planned for the day. Her fun and friendly manner made her easy to talk to. During the trial Brett perfectly executed what I was looking for the first time. She went slow and asked a lot of questions along the way to make sure I was happy with it and see if there was anything I wanted to change. Brett was great at keeping in touch throughout the months between the trial and my wedding. I worry a lot about timing and details, and she took care of all of that beforehand so I didn't have to.

On the day of, she came and set up, and even brought music to set the tone. Brett is fabulous! She is so personable, charming and flexible. I had to add a few people to get their makeup done closer to the wedding, and she had no problem scheduling it in. The day of she even did a little something for the flowergirl, which was so sweet! She did such a fantastic job. Everyone looked truly stunning!! I am so happy with the outcome because I felt beautiful and looked so in the pictures as well! So, Brett I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me look and feel as fabulous as possible!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the people I worked with at Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios. I had gone with them because of the positive experience I had as a bridesmaid in a wedding they did a few years ago. I was not disappointed for my own wedding. I wanted to look like a movie star from the '40s and they did such a fantastic job. The hair and makeup were PERFECT. I loved the way I looked. I also loved that they came to our hotel room and got us all ready without any of us having to go anywhere. It was an awesome morning. All the bridesmaids looked perfect as well. Although they aren't the least expensive on the market for bridal hair and makeup, it is definitely worth every penny. Everybody looked flawless!

My original hairstylist had to bow out of my event about a month away from my wedding. I called Brett and let her know my situation and she was happy to be a part of our big day even on extremely short notice. I was nervous about having her do makeup because I rarely wear it, but she made look and feel so beautiful. Brett was fabulous from the moment I met her. From my initial inquiry to the date of service, I never once had to worry about my makeup services because I knew that Brett would be on top of it. Brett is truly an artist and its apparent that she is fully invested in what she does. My wedding party consisted of 8 ladies having their makeup done as well as an airbrush tan in advance of the wedding for me. It was the most flawless airbrush tan I have ever had and I got MANY compliments on it. The makeup looked amazing on each and every person, playing up the features of each individual instead of putting the same color on everyone. I had previously attended a happy hour makeup tutorial with Brett Dorrian at her studio so I was familiar with her talent. When it came time to book a hair and makeup artist for my wedding day, Brett was the obvious choice.

The services don’t come cheap, but they are worth it. Originally, I was kind of skeptical and even considered doing my own hair and makeup. I have never liked the way my makeup looked when it was done professionally. But, working with Brett changed all of that.

During my trial run, Brett nailed my dream wedding look right away. I felt like we were on the same page with everything. She can clearly recreated hair and makeup looks based off of photos or explanations of what you want. She also asks you questions as you go, which is very different than other experiences I have had in the past. By asking how you like things as she goes along, there is no need to re-do your look at the end if you don’t like something. The whole process felt comfortable and easy. As my wedding day went on, my airbrush makeup looked equally flawless from 1 PM through 1 AM, and my hair held up through hours of sweaty dancing.

On the big day, Brett completely delivered. I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup. Not only did I look exactly like I did at the trial run, but she achieved the look quickly and easily avoid any type of nervousness I may have experienced with a less-skilled artist.
Brett also provided hair and makeup services for my maid of honor and mother as well on the Wedding day. Both were absolutely thrilled with how they looked. My mom was so impressed with how she looked that she immediately made plans to go buy the products Brett recommended for her. Regardless if your vision is specific or vague- Brett can help you look like the best version of you.

Beyond her insane talent, Brett is also a joy to be around and a complete professional to work with.

Brett and her team are unlike any other, they are true artists. I first met Brett during my boudoir shoot and she created such a stunning look for me then, I was overjoyed to have her for my wedding day. During the trial, she truly took the time to listen to everything I wished for in my look. I wanted to keep it more natural & dewy with soft waves and she did just that. I loved that she took pictures in all kinds of lighting to show me how it would appear in pictures, such a great touch. I even had a vision of my hair being up and loose for the ceremony and down and wavy for the reception and she was able to create that, it looked even better than I had imagined. People were in awe, they couldn't believe my hair went from up to down with such ease and how beautiful and perfect it fell. She was so kind and attentive to my every request, when I wanted little things tweeked, she would listen and assure me that that could be done. My final look was flawless, it is EXACTLY what I wanted. This is so important because I would never want to look back at my pictures and think that I don't look like myself or that my hair wasn't really what I wanted. Brett is just an unreal person and an extremely talented artist, I am blessed to have had her be a part of my day. Her and her team created such timeless looks for my girls and we were NEVER rushed, they were perfect in their timing. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. Mallory, her studio coordinator, answered my emails within the day, sometimes in just minutes. I loved working with them and would do so again in a heartbeat! I am absolutely thrilled that I chose to work with Brett for my wedding hair and make-up! This was definitely my "splurge" in the budget but I absolutely have no regrets and can't say enough good things about Brett.

I had worked with Brett a few years ago when I did a boudoir session with Jen Wheeler (Serendipity Photography). I was really happy and impressed with my hair and make-up that day, and also really happy with how well everything photographed. I also loved Brett's personality! I did know her pricing for weddings though, and at first I didn't consider hiring her when I started searching for wedding day beauty. As I searched the internet for affordable hair and make up vendors though, I just kept coming up disappointed. I wanted to look gorgeous and stunning on my wedding day, and not look like I had just done my make up and hair myself. I kept coming back to Brett's website, and finally decided to just go for it. Why go with another vendor when I already knew I was going to be thrilled with Brett's services? I also decided to book her for hair and make up for the moms and bridesmaids and do this as a gift to the ladies. Everyone looked so amazing! Brett and her team were absolutely fantastic. I was so impressed! On my wedding day, they took care of hair and makeup for myself, five bridesmaids, two mothers, a family friend, and two flower girls. Half of us had specific ideas as to what we wanted for hair and makeup, and half had no idea and told Brett and her team to "make us look awesome". Every single person was thrilled with the results! The entire morning was stress-free and relaxing, and it was a wonderful start to my wedding day. If I were to do it all over again, I would definitely hire Brett again! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Brett did such a beautiful job on not only my hair & make-up, but also my 3 bridesmaids. I did the air brush add-on which I would recommend to anyone. My skin looked flawless from when she applied it at 9am until the end of the night (12am). Both my hair and make-up made it through the entire day, even surviving the rain!

Brett is super easy to deal with, one of the most prompt vendors I had! She is very understanding to what you want for the big day and has a lot of ideas as well. She is a very relatable person and has a calming personality, which is what any bride needs on her wedding day. She traveled to my location, in which she arrived and finished early!

Brett is worth every penny, so stop your research on other artists. I highly recommend you book her!

Brett Dorrian and her crew were one of the highlights of my wedding experience. Everything about working with them was seamless -- they were prompt with communication from the start of the process until after the wedding, when I received a thank you note in the mail. Sarah was my artist and she was lovely and did a perfect job on my make-up and hair. I also had the chance to work with Sabrina, Brett and Kristine during my time as a bride-to-be and they were all fantastic. I've recommended two friends to Brett Dorian since last month and I will continue to spread the word every chance I get. Oh! And their spray-tanning services are AWESOME as well (and nothing came off on my dress or my mom's dress...I hear that others may have encountered this issue). Just one more reason that Brett Dorrian is the best.

Brett and her team were amazing! They were so well-organized ahead of time, I didn't worry or stress about anything. The run-through was very helpful. It was really important I look like me on my wedding day (I don't normally wear much makeup) and Brett did just that -- I looked like me, just a bit more glamorous. And, more important to me, the experience the morning of the wedding was calming and full of laughing. I never would have guessed I'd feel so relaxed, and that's totally thanks to Brett! I loved having my make-up and hair done by a real studio! My services were: bridal hair & make-up by Brett. It was also really awesome that my bridesmaids could choose whether or not to have their hair done professionally- so 2 chose too and loved it!! That really helped me in giving that choice to the girls, rather then telling them all that they would HAVE to get their hair done.
Brett did such a great job!!! My hair and make-up turned out so well! I have only seen a few photos of the wedding day but I was sooo happy with what I have seen and felt so beautiful all day!!!
I would strongly recommend this studio to anyone!! It is well worth the money to have a true professional do your hair and make-up on your wedding day! I had no worries of make-up lines as Brett did a custom concealor color!! I had touch-up products left with me and she paid special attention to any or my concerns or last minute changes!!

Working with Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! Brett provided both hair and make-up for me, and I've never felt so beautiful in my life! And I'm going to be honest -- I'm in my 30's and that means that I have a few age spots, wrinkles, etc. to work with, but I looked absolutely flawless. The best part -- I didn't look like I was wearing a make-up mask or anything. I looked natural and like myself. And my hair...unbelievable. The decision to use Brett Dorian Artistry for my wedding day hair and makeup was, ultimately, one of the best decisions I made throughout my wedding planning process. Though stress is often a bride's constant companion, I can genuinely say my "getting ready" experience - at the hands of Brett and her assistant - left me feeling calm, confident and beautiful. Over the course of the morning, and despite having eight other women (7 bridesmaids and my wonderful mother) who also needed their hair done, I was never made to feel hurried or stressed. We left the hotel, on schedule, with every one of my girls thrilled by their finished styles - including my sweet, 16 year-old sister-in-law, whose long hair Brett's assistant not only expertly, but age-appropriately, arranged. Having had a practice session with Brett several months prior, which was supremely helpful when it came to nailing down the right style, I was pleased on the day to find that all of our tweaks and talking really paid off - leaving me with a style I was comfortable in, but which was also suitably bridal and "grand" (to borrow Brett's word). On the day of the wedding, and in the weeks since, I have been flooded by messages asking who did my hair and makeup - a testament to how skilled Brett truly is - and I have been more than happy to point them all in the studio's direction. If you are wanting a full-service, friendly and, above all, talented stylist on your wedding day, I would highly recommend Brett and her team.

When I first started wedding planning, I didn't think about finding makeup/hair services. I figured we would just go to a salon the morning of the wedding. It wasn't until about 4 months before the wedding that I realized how important it is to find a trustworthy, professional service. When you spend so much money on your photographer and wedding day, you want to make sure you look and feel great! I have known Brett for awhile and I know her studio is the best of the best. There was no other choice for me. I am lucky they still had availability on my wedding day. Brett is so professional and passionate about her business. She puts her heart and soul into this business and it is apparent! One of the senior artists, Jamie, did my hair and makeup. She was so friendly from the moment I met her at the trial run. I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted, but after I showed her pictures of ideas she came up with an updo I loved. On the makeup side, I'll admit I am picky. I was nervous to have someone else do my makeup. However, she did a fantastic job! She listened to my requests and took pictures of my final look. A great benefit is seeing how you look in photographs prior to your wedding day. The day of the wedding I felt calm knowing I was in good hands. A second artist, Sarah came to my house the day of the wedding to help out. She also did a great job on the bridesmaids. Everyone had fun, creative updos. It is well worth the money to invest in professional makeup and hair services. I can't thank Jamie enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

Bonus- I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding last weekend and was lucky enough to have Jamie style my hair again. Once again, I loved my updo and got many compliments!

I cannot stress enough how professional and helpful Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios was for my wedding. They were quick to respond to all of my emails and were very flexible when working with me. I was out-of-state while planning my wedding, and they allowed me so much flexibility when scheduling appointments based on when I would be in town.

I used their services for my wedding as well as my engagement photos, and both were amazing. I worked exclusively with Jamie, who was so talented and nice, but I bet all of the ladies are equally skilled. I usually do not like getting my photo taken, but I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. To quote one of my bridesmaids after viewing my finished look for the first time, "That is the best bridal makeup I have ever seen." She was right. I got SO many compliments on how stunning I looked, and I know that was because of Jamie's amazing skills.

As a graduate student planning a wedding, money was tight, but the services I received from Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios was worth ever single cent. My bridesmaids and I had the best experience possible with Brett Dorian and her team. They came to our hotel the day of the wedding and were absolutely wonderful. The did an incredible job on the hair and makeup for 18 woman in a high stess environment and were so accomodating and calm it was amazing. They finished hair and makeup for 18 people all on schedule with everyone loving their hair and makeup (which its hard to please everyone!) If I had to do it all again I would choose them in a heartbeat. I also loved that my trial run was with Brett and she also did my hair and makeup the day of so I knew exactly what I was getting and also had a friendly, calm person to talk to when I was stressed the day of :) They have a true talent and I can't say enough good things - Please contact me for any further questions about this vendor!

Brett and her artists were fantastic. I came in with a complex vision for the styling of our wedding, and instead of giving me choices, Brett helped develop the style with me—and she was there every step of the way to help make style decisions. I was more confident because of working with Brett and her artists—both in the overall alternative styling of our wedding day, and in the tiny details of my style. Brett built my hair and makeup so that I looked like a glowing version of myself, a version of myself without a bad angle. My makeup did a lot of the grace for me from the ceremony all the way to the after party. She was wonderfully communicative with me via email and phone while trying to schedule a trial run since I had to come in from out of town and work it around childcare needs. Her work was fabulous at the trial run and the few tweaks that we needed to make for the big day were done seamlessly and literally flawlessly. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. She was a pleasure to work with in every sense of the phrase. I know that there are cheaper options out there for hair or makeup, but you pay for quality and when you work with Brett Dorrian Studios, you will receive it.

I contacted Brett before I had anything but a date set. I had been watching her work for years and knew on my wedding day that she had to be there. In fact, following BDA on facebook, I learned she needed a hair model for a studio training event - I volunteered and that is when I knew for sure she had to be there on my wedding day. Brett and her team worked incredibly efficiently to have hair and makeup done for 8 (bride, 6 bridesmaids, and my mom) on my wedding day, All of the girls had unique and stylish updo's for the wedding. From my trial run, we worked together and I had exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I'm also a huge crier - and my makeup, false eyelashes and all - lasted perfectly the whole day! After I put on my dress, and I saw how I looked hair, makeup and dress, that was one of the best moments of my life. I've never felt more beautiful and like myself. It was a perfect day! Brett arrived early to get everything set up and to chat about what I was looking for in hair and makeup (since I didn't have a trial). Through the whole process she explained what she was doing, took photos so I could see how my look would photograph, and asked for my feedback! What a gem!

Brett is amazing to work with. I can be picky about my hair but Brett created the perfect style for me. I have to say that my hair looked even better on my wedding day than it did after my hair trial, and I thought it was great that day too! Brett was super responsive by email and totally on top of things. She came alone but has assistants if the bridal party is large. Brett did my hair and 3 of my bridesmaids. Two of them have super difficult hair (very thick and very curly) but she easily tamed and beautified them!

AWESOME. Brett and her team are amazing! From the beginning, Brett’s professionalism and responsiveness had far exceeded my expectations. I am very particular and have never been so happy with my hair and make-up! I would definitely recommend Brett and her team to anyone looking for hair and/or make-up. Brett was great at listening to my vision and ideas, and incorporating her expertise for a final look that I loved. She has a great personality and is very relaxed- which was super helpful for the wedding day!

"" Brett- Only one word to comes to my mind to describe Brett Dorrian Artistry and that is BEAUTIFUL! Her work is an work of art that captures Individuals Beauty inside and out. I have never seen Such AMAZING work! It's breath taking on what she can do and her work of talent! The feeling that you have once you leave Brett's presents is unbelievable and that's passion in what she dose. I'm Brett's number one fan and Will Always go back with any Occasion that I may have!

Brett is amazing and so is her team! My bridesmaids and the mothers looked stunning on the day of my wedding. Brett really listens to what you like and don't like. I was pickier than I thought I would be about my make-up and Brett fixed everything to my liking with a smile on her face. She was never annoyed at how many times we needed to "tweak" my eye make-up. I looked amazing on my wedding day and I owe it all to Brett!! AND - my make-up and hair stayed all night...even with humidity.

Brett was amazing. We had 4 bridesmaids, and 1 bride, with varying hair lengths, thicknesses, and tastes and skin types. Brett listened to everybody and gave every woman what she wanted (or better than we had dreamed). She did this with a relaxed and professional attitude that really helped everybody enjoy their time with her on what could have been a very stressful day. Brett and her studio is fabulous. I would (and have) recommend her to any bride who wants to be herself at her best on her wedding day.

Brett and her team could not have done a more perfect job with my wedding makeup. They did fantastic work with the makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms. Everyone looked (and felt) truly gorgeous! Not only is the end product great, but Brett is also a complete joy to work with-- super organized and helpful throughout the planning process; I can't recommend her enough! I will be searching for any excuse I can find to have her do my makeup again.

Brett and all the ladies that helped out on my wedding day were amazing!! I felt like I could put everything in their capable hands and just relax, which was really nice! All of my Bridesmaids looked and felt great! And most important I felt unstoppable, and confident. The entire process with Brett was enjoyable, and easy. She listened to all of my requests and turned them into something really great. I would trust her with my hair and face everyday! <3

I don't normally give out such high scores for vendors or really much of anything, but Brett truly deserves every single point I gave her. She was, by far, my favorite vendor to work with. Her prices are a little on the high side for the area, but her work speaks for itself, so it was well worth it. I looked just as good at 11:00 pm as I did at 11:00 am. Brett was exceedingly flexible with her schedule and little changes that I made after our trial, and went above and beyond to make sure that I got the best styling possible. No other vendor I dealt with had the level of professionalism that Brett had. Sure, there are cheaper stylists in the area, but you cannot match the quality and service that Brett offers.

Words cannot express....I know everyone says to you how you look good on your wedding day, but I have NEVER felt as beautiful as I did with Brett's hair & makeup. I actually felt as thought I could do a vogue shoot. It was incredible. Brett stepped in at the last minute to help when I had a time change in the schedule ...and couldn't use my initial artist....and I have to say...I am SO thankful. I looked back at my trial photos versus my hair/makeup done by Brett and it was about 1000 times better! She knew what I was going for without having to describe it that much...as another reviewer said, she just KNEW! Also- she explained the process as we went along and it was fun and helpful to learn the "science" of makeup, and why certain things are done. I really cannot even say enough good things about her professionalism, timeliness, and work overall. I felt like I had made a friend when I was done, too. GREAT!!!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!

Brett and her team were phenomenal for my wedding hair and makeup. They styled numerous people, including three squirming girls, who then proceeded to run around the suite chaotically while Brett and her team calmly finished other hair/makeup. We had bridal hair and makeup, one bridesmaid hair and makeup, two bridesmaids hair, three kids updos, grandma hair and makeup and mother of groom hair and makeup. Everyone was done in the allotted time and Brett checked in on everyone's pins and updos to make sure they would last throughout the day and did any additional pinning necessary. She was fabulous and incredibly flexible to work with. I could not be more pleased with the service I received.

Brett did a fantastic job on my wedding makeup and the mother of the bride's hair and makeup. I have previously had my makeup done by other people, and have never been happy with the outcome. I have always had to wash my face and start over when others have done my makeup. Because of this, I did a trial run with Brett and absolutely loved everything she did. On the day of the wedding, she came she did exactly what we had done for the trial run, was quick and stayed perfectly within the time schedule, and helped keep the mood relaxing. She is always prompt in responding to emails and has no problem with any changes you want to make.

I would definitely recommend Brett to any bride!
