Brant did a truly wonderful job on our engagement shoot and wedding photos. Photography was at the top of my list of priorities, and one of the things I was most nervous about. Brant made it feel low-key, natural and fun. It rained and was so humid the day of our engagement shoot, and Brant was able to capture some great photos despite the awful conditions. He is also so professional and covered all of the most important details and moments on the wedding day. We look back on our photos constantly and are so happy with how they turned out. -

Unique and Stunning Photos!
Brant was recommended to me by a friend and I am so thrilled that we chose him to be our Wedding Photographer! His portfolio was so unique as he does more than just your typical traditional wedding photos, which is what my husband and I loved about him. He also took our Engagement photos and we are blown away by how talented he is, and how beautiful the photos turned out. He went above and beyond to capture every detail of the day and was so easy to work with. Highly recommend Brant for any of your photography needs!! -

Brant was our perfect wedding photographer!
My husband and I had the best experience working with Brant. When we first started looking at photographers, we saw Brant's portfolio and instantly knew he was our top pick. Although Brant can absolutely take traditional wedding photos, we loved that some of his photos also had a unique, artistic quality to them that sets them apart from your typical wedding photos.
Neither me or my husband are naturally super comfortable in front of the camera, but Brant was so helpful and half the time we didn't even know he was there shooting in the background. He did a phenomenal job at not only capturing the events of the day, but truly capturing the personalities of me and my husband. If we ever got the chance to work with Brant again, we'd do it in a heartbeat! -

Creative and timeless shots!
Brant is a very intuitive and chill dude! His keen eye for beauty and capturing moments candid or staged was above and beyond the normal photographer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Brant’s vision in the moment supersedes that of what we could even dream of. He captured ideas, thoughts, and scenery that we didn’t even think of capturing. Looking back on his creative work, it t was almost like getting married again. -

I really enjoyed working with Brant during both my bridal portrait session and my wedding day! He's super nice and communicative, and got our photos back to us in a timely manner. I LOVE our photos - I feel like I'm reliving my wedding when I look through them because Brant and his team did a great job capturing all the special moments. He had an amazing eye for where to shoot in multiple locations in Dallas - the Omni Hotel for the bridal portraits/getting ready/first look photos, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church for the ceremony, and Union Station for the reception. His prices are also great - the value of his service is exceptional. Would definitely recommend! -

The PERFECT wedding photographer!!
Brant did an amazing job for our engagement and wedding photos!! He is very professional, and his experience shows on the day of. Brant knew the timeline and directed us along for any photo opportunities he knew would come up. The quality of the photos are stunning, and we have so many great shots. I knew I would have some, but I am blown away because I love them all. He is so easy to work with and just a great guy. He was ready to go at any moment. I will say my husband and I didn’t have many ideas of what poses or looks we wanted. Brant did a great job giving us ideas and telling us where to go, especially for our engagement photos. I was worried, and he just had an eye for making them work. I don’t have a single complaint, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our day! -

Brant is Great!
We used Brant to take engagement photos and wedding photos for our intimate ceremony (due to COVID-19 restrictions) and our larger-scale ceremony. We loved working with him! He is very flexible and prompt to respond to any questions we had (Our other vendors adore him as well). His photos are also beautiful and will absolutely stand the test of time. They capture our feelings and emotions perfectly. He also goes beyond the duties of a photographer. For example, on the day of our intimate ceremony, our initially planned location at the venue was exceptionally muddy. While the venue was not helpful, Brant was very accommodating and worked with the venue to secure another (and even better!) location. For that, we are grateful. We recommend Brant to all of our friends and family, and we will definitely use him again! Thank you, Brant! -

We recommend Brant 100%. He took the most breathtaking photos of us for our engagement and bridal shoots and especially on our big day! Each time, Brant was communicative, prompt, and professional. He really helped us feel comfortable (as we are not savvy experienced models here!). His level of experience and creativity really shines in his work. For our engagement shoot, we last minute asked if we could take my husband's project car with us on our shoot. He was so down for it, and we got some fantastic shots that I know my husband absolutely LOVES. For my bridal shoot, Brant was so helpful, carrying items, tidying up my dress and veil, taking and handing back my bouquet, etc. On our actual wedding day, he even helped calm me down while we were running late for my ceremony by saying quite simply "all weddings typically run late --you're fine"!
Overall, Brant's positive, helpful, calm, and creative energy was great to have for these special moments. We absolutely loved working with him! -

Absolutely wonderful to work with!!!
My husband and I met Brant 5 years ago when we were maid of honor and best man at my sister’s wedding! He was so wonderful and easy to work with and we adored the way their photos turned out, so we decided to ask him to capture our own wedding day as well! Not only is he very professional and punctual, he starts in the morning when you’re getting ready and doesn’t stop until the night is completely done! We’re so happy with our pictures, we will cherish them forever. -

Brant was amazing! I would highly recommend him for wedding photographer. He did our engagement pictures, my bridals and of course our wedding. He is personable, flexible, and replies to emails and text messages in a timely manner. He was available the entire day of our wedding. He got there at 9 am and stayed until 11 pm. Brant exceeded our expectations
We booked Brant from Australia so naturally we were worried about the service and quality we would receive due to the distance and not having the opportunity to meet before our big day... But I can say the minute we met Brant we felt extremely at ease and had every confidence in him. He just took upon himself to get to know the location and little things like taking my dress, shoes and jewellery to capture their beauty in the outdoors. He was professional but fun and naturally easy to deal with. We both felt very relaxed and knew he was extremely good at his job! When we got our proofs we were beyond excited of how beautifully he captured our most precious moments of our day. He was 10/10 and his photography is exceptional and the best I have seen. We couldnt thank Brant enough and couldnt be happier with every aspect of his services. -

Amazing!
NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!!! Planning a wedding is hard and really hard when you are planning it without a planner or experience. I found myself stalking reviews on this very site and after some time I developed a skill at deciphering which photographer was used. There was NO ONE who compared to Brant!!! He was always available, answered my 1000 questions and resourceful! My photos are thee bomb :) He helped the process to go so smoothly, no worries or restrictions and given he was with us from sun up until dinner, he became a family member by the end of the day. Pleasant attitude, engaging with family and easy going. He was worth EVERY dollar and was so good, relatives asked where I found him!!! From domestic to international BRANT IS YOUR GUY!!! -

Engagement, Bridals, and wedding day coverage
I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. That's how AMAZING Brant was/is. I knew I wanted him to photograph our wedding years before we even got engaged. The day after we got engaged, I emailed him to get pricing and availability. Believe it or not, I picked my wedding date around when he was available. That's how much I love his work. His prices are extremely reasonable and his work far exceeds anything you could ever pay. My husband and I are pretty goofy and awkward in front of a camera and he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. He was super professional and also very genuine and made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. Come wedding day he far exceeding anything expectations I could have ever had. I honestly cannot recommend him enough! He got there early and even came to the rescue when our flower girl got stung by a bee and had sting ointment for us. He treats you like family and it reflects in his work. I didn't even feel like a camera was there cause he honestly just blended in with our family and friends. He captured such amazing photos that I look back on each one and can feel the emotions of that moment. I will cherish our photos forever and he will forever be our family photographer for every big moment in our lives. You will not go wrong with Brant. His talent is unreal and his personality and vibe is one of a kind. -

I can’t say enough good things about Brant. He is extremely easy to work with, fun to be around and completely professional. For our engagement pics he made us feel comfortable when we have never taken professional pictures and he helped us choose great locations. Also during the shoot he was so positive and wanted to get to know us so the pictures showcased our personalities and captured our relationship dynamic. For the wedding (other than the posed pictures) he did such a good job of blending in and capturing the energy and emotion of the night. I love every. Single. Jessica Sent on 09/19/2018Brant was our photographer for our elopement in Paris, and I'm SO GLAD I discovered his work and was able to have him capture our wedding day. Brant didn't just capture the sweetest moments from our day, but he brought us to some of the most breathtaking, best-kept secret spots in Paris, which resulted in stunning photos I'm STILL staring at. His style is very unique, and found angles to make my husband and I look like we were meant to be on a movie poster or some sort of high-style fashion magazine.
But aside from talent and style, Brant is also really personable. In such an intimate wedding party for an elopement, you want someone like Brant to put you at ease on your wedding day, have a sense of humor, accommodate your wildest ideas and and let you know you're in good hands. I'm making sure all my future bride friends know now that they should book him as their photographer asap.

Brant worked with us to develop a timeline for our wedding day, and he was everywhere we needed him, right on cue - it was if he anticipated exactly what we were going to want before we even realized it. His preparation allowed us to be ourselves and get lost in the moment without worry of documenting our day. He has a way of capturing beautiful, candid moments that help illustrate the mood beyond any organized photo. His knowledge of backgrounds and lighting turned our pictures into pure gold. As a result of his professional work, he captured all our amazing memories that we can now share with our loved ones for the rest of time. Brant was also very quick and thorough with any edits we needed on our pictures. I cannot recommend him strongly enough. 5 STARS in every aspect of his work.

He did my bridals and took pictures for my wedding last Sunday. I am blow away with everything so far and can’t wsot to see our wedding pictures pictures. He was taking pictures non-stop and was very creative with lighting. He is very generous and even helped my parents get some bags of their car before everything started. He is a genuine guy and has HIGH quality pictures! If you need a photographer for anything, don’t book anyone but Brant! Thanks for everything!!! :)

Brant was an excellent wedding photographer to work with! I spent hours searching for the right photographer, just because I'm very picky about photos. The photography industry is oversaturated with camera users, many of whom just purchase a nice DSLR and take respectable, but not great, photos. One level above that is photographers who know some basic artistic rules and guidelines, like how to use the rule of thirds to compose a photo and how to create bokeh by using a higher depth of field or how to make an HDR photo out of multiple exposures. I know how to do most of those things, and I don't even consider myself a photographer. I was looking for a real artistic professional, who could do with ease the things I don't know how to do. Someone who could turn our wedding photos into pieces of art. Someone who wouldn't just document these events, but also capture the atmosphere and feel, to make the photos worth ten thousand words. We were so glad to have found that in Brant.
Brant also struck the correct balance between professionalism and comfort. He responded to emails in a timely manner and kept up with our incessant details, but was unassuming and open to changes and additions and questions. Living in New York and getting married in Texas, we didn't have the opportunity to sit down with him right after contracting with him, but he kept in touch and was very responsive to my sporadic emails over the months, answering questions and encouraging us to let him know any more questions. And his responses were always gracious and positive - so easy to work with! Very low pressure, which is exactly what you want in a wedding photographer, trust us. We did eventually sit down with him over coffee, a couple months before the wedding, and he was so glad to do it! I imagine some photographers may find it tedious and unnecessary, especially since that isn't time you specifically pay for. It's such a small thing, but he was early and had already bought his own beverage, which is just an indication of how unassuming and easygoing he was. He didn't have any expectations; he was just glad to have the opportunity to sit down with us and get to know us in advance of the big day. He even met us in a convenient location, I guess 30-45 minutes from his home, without complaining once. He told us he often doesn't sit down with the couple in advance, which is a bit surprising to us, and apparently a little disappointing to him. But he's open to it either way and totally flexible, with a positive attitude throughout. Having that interaction up front also gave us a lot of confidence going into the day of, just knowing he'd be calm and collected, but flexible and attentive.
The day before the wedding, I texted him to ask if he could sort of control our schedule - keep my bride and me on time, since we wouldn't have a schedule in our hands (although it was practically memorized by that point). We had sent him a schedule and photograph list in advance (including family member combinations, etc.) and assigned our day-of coordinator of sorts to help him collect people for photos, so he had everything he needed. He was really appreciative and gracious, happy to help us stay on schedule and glad to have the photo list and schedule. We were overly detailed, and he was glad to have it all, but clearly would have operated just fine without it too. He never once tried to apply pressure in any way, to have us pay for something extra or change our plans or schedule, or anything. He took on any complications himself, to make it all easier for us. We asked if a second shooter would be good, and he said he'd be happy to provide that for a fee, but actually recommended he do it all himself, especially with such a small wedding (100 guests, 3 bridesmaids/groomsmen). We thought about having him shoot portraits the night before, but decided against it in the final month. He was totally okay with it and really encouraged us to do whatever we'd like and he'd help.
He continued to be really gracious and flexible on our wedding day. He came totally prepared and ready to go. He was on time and helped us keep time. If we were feeling pressed for time, he encouraged us that certain shots would fit in after the ceremony. We knew he had the full schedule in mind, so we could trust him without worrying at all about photos. He required no instruction at all the whole day. On many occasions, as our photographer, he would direct us. But he was very kind and gracious, even in that, saying please and thank you, while also being quick and efficient, to make the best use of time. Just a real pleasure to have as our photographer.
Two weeks after the wedding, we received 20 of the photos as a preview. I don't recall if a preview was even promised, but we were surprised and delighted to get so many! They turned out beautiful! We received the rest just over the 6 week mark. The contract mentioned 4-6 weeks for delivery, but he'd had a busy season and Thanksgiving was close to the end of the 6 weeks, so I'd encouraged him to take the time he needed to get them right and enjoy Thanksgiving with his family. They were certainly worth the wait! The contract also mentioned 400-600 photos, and we received about 590! Many of them were essentially black and white duplicates of color photos, but we were glad to have them! And not every black and white photo had a corresponding color photo, so there were still probably 525 unique photos (impressive, given our time at the chapel and barn was limited to 5 1/2 hours). We were looking for some really incredible shots to take away from our wedding day, and we certainly got them! I told Brant from the beginning I love the way he 'paints' with light, shadow, and reflections. He used that in several instances, but was probably a bit limited by the dreary day it turned out to be. Even still, there are probably 40-50 photos that we absolutely LOVE, and among those were 6-8 that really wowed us. I think we expected that number to be a bit higher based on Brant's portfolio, but that's not a fair expectation. Although we wanted a photographer who would do more than just document the events, that really is his job for most of the day, and he did an excellent job of it. The colors and exposure especially came out beautifully. He never uses photoshop, so you can know he isn't doctoring anything or over-saturating anything to the point of it looking artificial. Our intense schedule is probably the other reason there weren't more "wow" photos. We were pressed for time at every turn, and I think he didn't have the luxury of extra time to really care for each individual shot the way I'm sure he would have liked to. Maybe half of the photos featured the same composition - the subject small at the center of a larger overview shot. These types don't look amazing framed on your end table as-is, but look great on a screen, and are really flexible if you're putting together a book or want to re-crop them yourself. I usually try to avoid cropping an artist's work, but it really seemed like Brant was intentionally erring on the side of giving us more content in the photo, desiring to capture all of the moment, rather than taking too long to get the right composition and missing the moment entirely (there are plenty of occasions like this during a wedding). In some cases, that composition was actually really amazing though, depending on the background and context. Usually when he had more time to consider it, like during our 30 minute portrait session after the ceremony. The more time you give Brant to work with, I'm sure the more "wow" photos you'll end up with! But regardless, you'll love all 400-600 photos!
We asked a lot of Brant, and he really delivered on everything we asked for, so it's a bit unfair for me to list what he didn't capture, which we didn't request. But so you can know what to request, a few things we wish we'd gotten photos of are: our rings close-up, the ring box (my wife's brother made), detail photos of the venue (a beautiful chapel, and I'm an architect), my bride's handkerchief embroidered with our monogram (wrapped around the bouquet), and custom-made cufflinks and tie bar. He even asked us during photos if there's anything else we wanted captured, so he was more than willing. We just didn't think of these things in the moment, with so much already on our minds. Our advice: make a list of all the photos you want and give it to Brant in advance, but don't just include family photos; include objects too.
All in all, we are so glad we hired Brant! He was absolutely the right man for the job, and I know he'll do an excellent job for your wedding too! -
