Easy to work with and Intuitive DJ

Jay was so awesome to work with for our wedding. We gave him a list of our requests and he was able to fill in gaps with songs that totally fit us. We had to make a change last minute due to a timing issue with the bridal march song and he offered the perfect solution. He was quick to reply to our emails and we easily handled our prep with a few Zoom meetings.

He befriended our 96 year old grandma during the wedding and brought her up to spin a song. It was one of the highlights of the day!

We would definitely recommend Jay for any event!

Jay and I spoke on the phone for about an hour prior to the wedding just chatting and him getting to know our music taste. He is a real DJ, not just someone playing a playlist! Amazing guy

I’m so thankful we went with Jay for our wedding DJ. He has extensive knowledge of music and people. He took the time to make sure my fiancé and I had everything we wanted in music at the wedding. Jay also set the tone throughout the wedding and kept everyone’s energy up! This guy is an expert

I’ve been hired as a photographer for some weddings and as someone who’s had experience with weddings, DJ Jay is excellent. He was the DJ for my wedding on 9/20/2020 and was very good at keeping the dancing alive. During the dance party, If a song didn’t seem to hit, he moved on to the next. During the ceremony, everything seemed to transition smoothly and there was even a good bit of wind that he was able to manage without a hitch. All that said, he is also a very nice guy and is easy to talk to and discuss things with. 5/5, 10/10, golden stars for him. He’s great, you should hire him if you’re in the Temecula/San Diego area.

Jay is Awesome!

Jay is awesome... He was the DJ for our wedding and was outstanding. We honestly didn't give him much to work on in terms of what we like for music (since we like just about everything). But WOW he made it work. We had multiple compliments from guests saying how great the music is. There wasn't a minute that people were not on the dance floor. Amazing, highly recommend!

Jay was simply the best! He read the crowd so well and there were people on the dance floor all night. I had some last minute requests that he implemented and they were flawless. He played the best music and was great on the microphone. It is so important to have an amazing DJ at your wedding and he was the best! He was checking in with us throughout the night and running things by us as well as keeping us in the loop with everything he was doing. I can’t recommend him enough. He’s also such a nice man (and funny too). He heard in the ceremony that I was a Friends TV show fanatic and even played the theme song at the wedding without me asking! He is so great at reading a crowd and mixing music. He played the perfect combination of the music my husband and I loved while making it the best night ever. I know the night wouldn’t have gone as perfect as it did without him! Don’t go with anyone else. He’s the BEST!

Simply put, The best!

Jay is not just an amazing and skilled DJ, but all around a great person. Our first meet with Jay was so comfortable. Within minutes we knew we were going to be choosing him for our big night. We were able to email, call, or even text him at any time knowing he would answer quickly.
On the day of our wedding, Jay talked is through the events we had already planned and discussed, he checked in with us every so often to make sure we were prepared for the next thing, and he even came over to our table during dinner to make sure we had everything we needed (which was beyond the normal duties of a DJ). He even grabbed BBQ sauce for my wife without any hesitation.
Without a doubt, Jay made the whole experience perfect. Thank you so much!!!

From the very beginning Jay was extremely accommodating. He set up a meeting with me 6 months in advanced and made me feel like everything was taken care of through out the whole experience. Jay was great, was quick to answer any questions we had during the planing process. The website he has for creating the song list had a large selection, and if anything wasn't there you can request it. We had him mix hits from today with Afghan Style music and it sounded great, he did a really good job pleasing everyone in the crowd. Our guests danced all night and no cheesy, outplayed, "traditional" wedding songs were played, which is exactly what we requested. I would recommend Jay to any family and friends, especially if they want to mix different cultural music like we did. Thank you Jay!

Jay is hands down the best DJ out there!!! He definitely made our wedding one to remember and also made the entire planning experience a breeze. People are still messaging me days after saying they can't get over how epic the dance party was!! Even the cocktail songs and dinner songs were beyond perfect. He created a vibe that got everyone comfortable and ready for fun!! He is incredibly talented with his ability to get the crowed on their feet dancing, while introducing those emotional songs without skipping a beat. Can't thank Brannan Entertainment enough for the outstanding memories, and sore feet ;) Our go to DJ for everything here on out!

Jay KILLED at our wedding - he is undoubtedly what guests were talking about most, and everyone raved how great the reception music was. We had a blended Iraqi-American wedding and had limited choices due to venue restrictions - so my husband was nervous to not get an Arab DJ, but I knew right away Jay would handle it. He was super patient with us, met up with us several times, and even made us a few sample transition tracks blending Iraqi and American songs... then my husband relaxed because he realized we were in good hands. We also just learned from our coordinator that Jay had spent a ton of time researching, even going as far as having some Arabic lyrics translated so he could keep on "'theme" between the songs which really impressed us. He kept everyone dancing the whole night - Arabs, Americans and even my grandma! - but Iraqis were especially impressed since they have been to so many other weddings with poorly done Arabic music. But Jay had told us "I just know the BEAT" and that's true - I would trust him with any kind of music or event and feel confident he'd get it just right. Plus as an MC Jay is such a pro - I liked how he checked in with me throughout the night to adjust the timeline (e.g. giving us more time at the photobooth before kicking off the traditional festivities) and was flexible with our wishes (I didn't want too much "fanfare" and he kept all the announcements toned down but still enthusiastic). He takes his job extremely seriously, which comes through in his work - the mics, the lighting, and the general atmosphere (I did not stress about him at all, I knew he would be there early, stay late, and wouldn't even take breaks!) Everything was perfectly timed and done just the way we wanted it, from pre-ceremony to the last song. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Jay was amazing! I had reached out to a few other DJs before and after meeting with Jay I knew he was the one for us. It was a perfect match and we knew he would be the best fit for our wedding. He was always checking in with me to make sure everything was up to my liking and he never missed a beat. We didn't want the night to end! People were having so much fun and he definitely knows how to feel the audience. If they want hip hop he will keep that going and the same if your group is more into jazz or country or whatever, he knows how to keep the party going and everyone having a good time. The DJ can make or break your event and Jay is by far the best! 100% recommend to others :)

Jay is the wedding DJ of your dreams! He loves what he does, sees entertaining your guests as a challenge and always puts the bride and groom first. That being said, every guest I had (and we had a diverse crowd) LOVED the music. He kept them out on the dance floor all night! He controls the pace at the wedding and goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy in that moment. Before my wedding, I didn't realize how much time you end up spending with your vendors at the wedding but they really are the people who make it successful so you should definitely hire people like Jay. My wedding rained out and he moved mountains (and speakers) to make me happy with the changes, and reminded me of my vision in spite of the rain (which ended up including our first dance as a couple happening in the courtyard in the rain because that's the space I had envisioned). He encouraged me to go after what I wanted and those memories will last a lifetime. If I could give Jay 10 stars I would.

We recently used Jay for our wedding. From beginning to the end, he was completely professional and always responsive. We loved that he was far more organized than many other djs we considered. He has a huge musical selection, and was very focused on creating a musical experience centered around our tastes and personality. The day of he kept the party going and read the crowd well. Everyone had an absolutely amazing time dancing. He even threw in one last song as background music that was perfect for our crowd. Can't recommend him more!

Stop looking now -- Jay is your guy. His passion for music and his CREATIVITY is outstanding, and he was very flexible and able to roll with the punches as plans changed and new things came up. During the wedding, he does an incredible job of keeping things on the timeline and being an incredible help in every regard.

Honestly, there wasn't a single thing I could say that Jay could do better as our DJ. And he's an outstanding guy -- super funny and very easy to chat with. You'll love talking music with him.

I'll happily recommend him to all my family and friends. He's incredible.

Excellent DJ!!!! Great person and perfect personality for our wedding day. Jay really takes the time to get to know you, your style, and exactly what you want for your day. He really customizes your request to make it unique and make sure the music represents you and your day. During the event he was amazing!!! He was constantly interacting to see what we wanted and to take "head nods" or "looks" when we were ready for the next song. He was truly invested in ensuring our guests had a great time!!! Jay was amazing. He made the evening run as smooth as possible so we did not have to worry about anything except having a good time. Jay did an outstanding job at our wedding. At both the ceremony and the reception, the music selection and management of the timeline were superb. We met with Jay a couple of times before the wedding, and we knew once we met him that the reception was going to run smoothly and be a lot of fun. He had a number of ideas for getting all of our guests involved at the reception and for making the traditional events like the first dance/toasts/etc. run incredibly smoothly. Any anxiety about the timeline of the wedding day melted away as we were able to brainstorm with Jay on the sequence of events and work out some of the music selections together.

We could tell from the very beginning that Jay had many years of experience DJ'ing weddings. His experience and professionalism were readily apparent from how he expertly managed the events at the reception and handled the microphone. But what was really cool was that he still maintained the same warm enthusiasm every time we met him; we could tell that he really wanted us to have the best day possible. And let's be clear: we met with a few other DJ's before Jay, and we definitely did not get that same warm vibe from the others. It was the little things that we were impressed with, like how he came up and talked to us throughout our wedding day to make us feel at ease and relaxed. Unquestionably, he was an important part in making our wedding a fun and memorable day for us. Jay is a great guy and we highly recommend him!

Both my husband and I loved working the Jay. We met with him before the wedding and just talked music. He understood our vibe, music tastes, liked how diverse we were with what we wanted played and he made it all happen!

He has a really easy and useful website that allows you to create the playlist you want and add notes to special song choices. He was positive the whole time, checked in with us and made sure that we weren't missing on any specific song choices.

He was great for our wedding and I would hire him again for any large scale events

We had the pleasure of having Jay Brannan as our DJ at our wedding last November. We originally contacted another DJ who was not available for our wedding date, but he then highly recommended Jay. We are sure glad Jay's colleague send us his way because we enjoyed our first visit and follow up visit with him. Very cool guy! We told him about all the events we wanted to have for the wedding including a traditional dance before the bouquet/garter toss. He was very helpful, flexible and supportive and helped make everything possible. We liked the music account he set up for our music list, everything was super organized. We also really wanted cumbia music and he had a great selection! On the wedding day everything was great! All of our planned events and music was perfect. All our guests, my husband and I had a great time! I remember so many people were dancing and when we finally saw the wedding video we saw so much more of all the fun people had, especially on the dance floor! We were fortunate enough to have many great vendors for our wedding, but Jay stood out from the pack. During our planning phase, we had met with 5 or 6 potential DJs that each had glowing reviews, but during our meetings we were vastly underwhelmed with the conversation and ideas presented. That wasn’t the case with Jay. From the moment we met him we could tell he had unique ideas and a tremendous amount of confidence and passion in what he does. Every meeting we had, we left feeling less stressed and much more comfortable with the plan for the evening. We had a few unique requests for the evening that Jay worked seamlessly into the order of events and he was quick to warn us of things he’d seen fail in the past, and then give us advice on a way to alter our idea to work more effectively. His ideas worked every time.

During the reception our dance floor was always full and there was never a dull moment. Each event throughout the night felt like it was transitioned into and out-of flawlessly and the “open dance” times in between were just the right length and had just the right blend of music to keep everyone amped and in a festive spirit. While it wasn’t his job at all, he also filled in as a reserve coordinator at times and helped us a few times throughout the night with things outside of the entertainment realm. His attitude and positive energy was infectious and rubbed off on everyone he interacted with throughout the evening.

We would highly recommend Jay for your event (especially wedding) with 100% confidence that you won’t be disappointed.

Jay did an awesome job of playing the appropriate music at the right times. He kept the dance floor packed the entire time and is extremely easy to work with. Jay was basically amazing at our wedding. He got a feel both for the kind of music my husband and I like, as well as what kind of music would appeal to our guests. The result was perfect! I LOVED the music played at the wedding and many guests also commented on it. We did not have much of a dancing crowd, but by the end of the night the dance floor was groovin' (yes, I just typed groovin'....).

There is so much more to do in a wedding than simplay play great music, and Jay was perfection at all of it. From music in the ceremony and reception, announcements, and staying on top of what was going on, to me our wedding day went by without any issues. In addition, Jay was very accomodating prior to the wedding date with driving to various locations to meet and make sure he knew what I wanted - I could tell he wanted my wedding to be as perfect and awesome as I wanted it to be, and it totally was.

Basically, if you have the opportunity to hire Jay as your wedding DJ, I highly recommend you do so! He is awesome and he definitely knows what he is doing.

If you're looking for someone who is professional, knowledgeable, talented and the best in his field, look no further then Jay Brannan. Jay makes it clear from the first meeting that this day is about the two of you (which is exactly what you want!), he takes his work seriously and it shows. I first heard about Jay when he played at my brother's wedding 6 (almost 7) years before, not only did he remember their wedding, but he knew them by name! At their wedding I remember how much fun it was, everyone (and when I say everyone, I mean it!) was up on their feet dancing and having the best time (we still talk about that night!). So, we really wanted the same for our day... needless to say Jay absolutely gave that to us! It was PERFECT! Jay listened to everything I had asked for and made the day totally about us! He even rolled with the punches when we nix over & over to relive that wonderful day!ed the cutting of the cake...we aren't super traditional & it totally worked for us not to have it. Jay was the perfect DJ for our wedding. The playlist was customized to fit our music interests, and Jay kept everyone dancing throughout the night. Very professional, and highly recommended!

Jay with Brannan Entertainment was amazing to work with and a godsend the day of our wedding! Leading up to the wedding, he answered all of our questions and even took the time to stop by our reception venue to see the layout in person since we were having a very intimate wedding and no dance floor. Since we were planning our wedding from out of state, Jay was very easy to communicate with and even offered great advice/tips when needed.

Another thing about Jay is that he is also ordained with the state of California. This actually came in handy for us when our original officiant passed out right in the middle of our ceremony! Amid all of the chaos and once the paramedics left, Jay readily stepped in and finished our ceremony!

Offering a great selection of music, my husband and I were extremely impressed with Jay's ability to read the room and gauge the overall mood. Even though my reception site did not have a designated dance floor, Jay's energy and music selection had our guests dancing between the tables!
I could not recommend Brannan Entertainment and Jay enough for future brides. I planned our wedding in about 5 months, but our DJ was one less thing for me to worry about after choosing Jay. And I will also add that having a backup officiant (especially someone like your DJ) is probably a good idea for your wedding day!

We couldn't be happier with Jay and Brannan Entertainment. Jay was also the DJ at both of my sister's weddings a few years ago. They were both extremely happy with him, and I was impressed with his ability to keep their party flowing. Just to be sure we covered all our bases, my wife and I contacted several other DJ's, but after meeting with Jay the choice was obvious. Unlike many of our other vendors(and many of the other DJs), Jay made us feel confident and at ease about our event every time we talked to him. He gave us great suggestions and answered all our questions using his wealth of wedding experiences and told many stories that made us laugh and put all our fears to rest. Jay went above and beyond during the planning process, answering many questions sometimes unrelated to DJing. During the event he was the first vendor to arrive, and was able to setup and be ready to go with plenty of time to spare even though our table rentals(including his table) were almost 45 minutes late! During the reception he kept the party flowing and dancing until the very last song! Many of our guests commented on what a fun evening they had with us which is exactly what we were shooting for. Jay responded well to the many changes that happened to our schedule, such as the food being half an hour late, and ensured the many heartfelt toasts were 'evenly spread' throughout the champagne toast period. Every time a guest requested an 'interesting' song or dance (such as polka?!) he unobtrusively found us and asked us if the request were acceptable. He managed to fit in all of our requests at a great time even though some of them were quite bizarre ("All I Want for Christmas Is You" during an August wedding?! (See his video on youtube to see how successful it was!)) and he filled the gaps with great music all night long. Honestly we couldn't have imagined a better DJ for our reception. Thanks so much Jay!

Jay was awesome! From the initial meeting to our wedding day, he was a pleasure to work with. Unlike most DJ services; Jay honored our song requests, and kept the party going! The best part was that our wedding music reflected who we are as a couple- not just the typical music you hear at every wedding. We even had a catering mishap that delayed our wedding over an hour- Jay managed to effortlessly keep things moving along smoothly and our guests had a blast.
I would recommend Jay to anyone and for any event! Thanks Jay!

We are still on a high from our wedding and DJ Jay played a HUGE part of our amazing day. From our first consultation meeting to the end of the wedding reception, Jay made us feel like we were his only clients. He was calm, but enthusiastic... attentive but had some amazing music recommendations. He made our night. Even the little touches in between songs was like icing on the cake. He came as a recommendation from a friend and we are so thrilled we went with our gut on this one.
Music and lighting for the day and night are such an important part of your decision and we hope he is able to bring the light and life to your wedding day that he did for us. Jay, we absolutely love you and the energy you bring... hopefully we get to experience you again soon!

I loved working with Jay.
When I was first planning our wedding, I didn't want to hire a DJ at all, but as we got closer to our wedding date, I started getting really nervous about the dance party - I really wanted to make sure that our guests had a great time (and us too!). One of my best girlfriends had hired Jay for her wedding, and he was great, so when I decided to look into DJs, he was at the top of my list. (My girlfriend highly recommended him of course, too). Luckily Jay was available and in our price range, so it was easy to say yes to booking him. I had a phone chat with him as like an "interview" to make sure our musical ideas were cohesive, which they were, and then we mostly communicated via email. Jay is very responsive. The Wednesday before the wedding we had another long chat about the wedding day music from the first song of the pre-ceremony music to last song of the night. He met all of my music expectations, party needs and more! We had 130 or so guests to the wedding and at midnight we probably had 50 people still on the dance floor, which is exactly what I wanted. During the reception, he was also really communicative with me. For instance, we did the Hava Nagila, which is the traditional song where the guests put the bride and groom on chairs and hoist them into the air. A few songs before that started, Jay came over to me and said something like, just give me a look when you're ready to be put down. After about 30 seconds of being in the air, I literally looked over to him, and he moved to the next song! My husband and I safely descended! :) It seems like a small thing, but when you have an open bar at a wedding, it's things like this that, as the bride, you worry about going smoothly. And Jay's awareness of timing, flow, guest/bride/groom needs set me at ease.

Jay is the real deal. He knows what he's doing. We lucked out by getting him. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He had the dance floor rockin all night. My husband and I actually had another DJ booked that fell through on us, before we met Jay, and I have to say it was fate. Even at our first meeting we knew right away Jay was going to be far better than anyone we had interviewed with before. He listened to our music choices, understood us, and had a whole wedding timeline written out and suggestions before we even left the table. He took the time to understand what we really wanted out of our day and helped guide us, as opposed to other DJ's who said they basically have the same mix for every occasion and to just "trust them." The day of the wedding, Jay knew exactly how to get our guests onto the floor, and even when we had a small hiccup during the reception that could have put a damper on the night, he knew how to bring the energy right back to the dance floor as if nothing had ever happened. Since the wedding I've received SO MANY compliments from our very picky friends and family who know a DJ can make or break a wedding. He knew the perfect mix of traditional and modern, served as a great and lively MC for our occasion, and really made the night. I couldn't have imagined the wedding without him! He made our evening.

After a ton of interviews with DJs, I called Jay. He was recommended by my wedding coordinator and I am not sure why I just didn't go to him first. My biggest fear was that I would have a DJ that tried to stay on the mike all night and my wedding coordinator assured that was NOT Jay's style. I met with him and we had an instant connection. After talking to my husband and I for about a 30 minutes he came up with all of these great music ideas that seemed to fit us perfectly. He walked us through the different parts of the night and gave us a punchlist of items that we needed to work on. His website was very easy to use and allows you to work on the music a little each day and save your selections. We also had Jay do the uplighting for the reception and I can tell you that it was definitely worth the extra money. Our photographer told us that up lighting always adds a lot to the pictures and he was right. We were on a pretty tight budget, but for less than $200, it was well worth it. Jay knew how to work the crowd the whole night. If he had an idea of a song that was not on my play list he would come and tell me, and each time the guests loved it. I had so many friends tell me how great he was after the wedding. Another great thing was Jay dressed according to our weddings attire. The last thing you want is a DJ that is wearing jeans when you have a formal wedding. I have NO negative commments about Jay and I highly recommend his services.

Jay did a fantastic job! He was professional, energetic and did an awesome job of incorporating our requests. He was very engaged in the planning process, offered excellent suggestions and provided honest input on some of our thoughts and what he felt would work best. The end result was a fantastic evening that our guests were raving about for weeks afterwards. He kept the party going all night!

To say Jay was amazing would be an understatement. He made our wedding day run smoothly and made it unforgettable. From the moment we arrived at the reception, he greeted us, gave us a run down of the night...even got us a glass of wine! Talk about going above and beyond. He let us know when would be the best time to visit with our guests, and how long until the next event. He played all our songs without awkward pauses or weird transitions. Every single person was dancing--from my 80 year old great aunt, to my 3 year old niece. We told Jay to use his expertise...if our music choices weren't working, he had full control on what to play next. He nailed it! He is absolutely 100% professional. He even handled problems we had with other vendors, which allowed us to enjoy our special day. I am so so so so glad we used Jay for our wedding. I know we'll see him again soon (because we won't let any of our friends use any other DJ)! He was by far my favorite vendor we chose--better than the florist, photographer, etc. I had the best day of my life, and he made the party phenomenal. He is a must-have for a wedding!

DJ Jay was awesome!! He created a great timeline for our wedding and was really easy to work with. We were looking for a real DJ, not someone to just hit play on an ipod - Jay was the man for the job! Dj Jay was awesome! He's super cool and easy to work with. Selecting our play list was a piece of cake thanks to the user friendly program he uses. He even played a couple rare songs we requested that weren't in his music vault. Jay Brannan was FANTASTIC!! He provided the entertainment for our daughters wedding with skill and expertise, which led to our guests dancing late into the night. His diverse music collection struck a cord in all age groups leaving guest chairs empty and the dance floor full. Working hand in hand with our wedding coordinators he carried out the days timeline to perfection...from ceremony, to cocktail hour to the reception. He also provided the up lighting and laser lighting for the reception giving the ballroom a magical feel. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had dancing the night away! Jay's professionalism and confidence allowed us, the parents of the bride, to relax and enjoy the entire day. We would highly recommend Jay for any event

I would highly recommend Jay Brannan to anyone who wants to have fun at their own wedding. Jay was a part of my wedding 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be any happier with him. He was absolutely AMAZING! He listened to the type of music my husband and I wanted and he stuck to our plan the entire night. My dad threw in a last minute surprise for me and Jay was right there to make sure it happened the way my dad had planned. Jay was calm, relaxed and is not a DJ who likes to hear themselves talk into the mic.

Jay Brannan is Amazing he is so fun and loves what he does, he is a real DJ with turn tables and everything, he does not work off a pc or a ipod, if there is a song you do not want played even if someone asks for it he wont play it, he is happy and upbeat and the best to work with, after a few meetings he starts to feel like family, he has worked with some famous people and he really knows what he is doing, there was never a dull moment and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night long it was so much fun i would recommend him to anyone

First off - I have never given anyone a perfect review, because no matter how thoroughly satisfied I am with something, I always find something to nitpick. However, I can't imagine a better DJ and MC to perform at our wedding than Jay Brannan.

I went to a friend's wedding and liked their DJ, so I asked for his info from the bride, who highly recommended him. Turns out, I've actually been to 2 weddings that he's DJ'd, and he was scheduled to be at an acquaintance's wedding. He's obviously popular among my friends, so it would have been stupid not to go with him, right? The most wonderful thing about the fact that within my circle of friends, including ours, he's performed 4 weddings - and not ONE of them sounded alike. Jay's weddings... they sound like the couple, if that make sense. He reads your personality on top of asking you what kind of music you like, so he doesn't just play your favorite artist on a loop, he comes up with songs that fit in perfectly with the mood you're going for.

On top of the fantastic music & entertainment, his room & dance lights were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. The dance lights kept everything fun looking, but that wasn't the best part. So... you know how sometimes, you're wearing an outfit that looks nice, but something's missing - then you realize you have the perfect necklace to match the outfit, and all of a sudden your outfit is rocking? Right... well, the pink lights he used to go with the theme of the wedding was like that gorgeous necklace. Seriously if you want your wedding to look refined, go with the lights!

He's got an outgoing personality, knows how to get the attention in a room full of guests, and you can tell he really loves his work. I am so happy that I have friends with good taste!

Jay is the best! Great DJ AND MC (which isn't always easy to find someone who's good at both!) Always easy to correspond with, understood what we wanted, and just had a great personality. The sound for the entire event sounded wonderful. He even had to deal with a lot of last-minute changes and did it flaulessly! He did great with reading the crowd as far as the music goes and got EVERYONE dancing and having a blast!

He was really great to work with. We had some ideas for songs that we wanted and he was able to use that information to make the rest of the song list. He was very available the day of, checking in with us on several occasions, and even making sure we had time to eat dinner ourselves.

Our event was a 'celebration' of our wedding but not a reception in the traditional sense (it was nine days later back on the mainland) nor was it an exact reenactment of it either. This could have proven difficult for many DJ’s – not Jay, he handled all announcements and requests thrown at him. There was an eclectic crowd with a relatively large range in age of attendees but Jay read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor jumpin’! Jay's 'client first' mentality in what is often an ego-driven profession was refreshing to say the least. It's easy to see the empire he's created over the years is well warranted. We'd recommend Brannan Entertainment to anyone!

Our venue suggested Jay and when we met up to discuss what we were wanted I knew he was the DJ for us. He breaks down the music schedule for your day and meets with you to finalize the songs and make sure each bridal song is how you would like. My wedding day music was amazing the day of full rock n roll thank you Jay for an amazing day to remember my guests raved about the music.

Jay was super flexible and ready to accommodate whatever we wanted. I didn't choose to personalize his services, yet despite this, the service was exactly what I wanted. He knew what I wanted with a few comments I made and was sure to make the evening what would please the guest of honor. It was a surprise 50th birthday party. I asked only for music from the last 50 years as well as music from the 80's. Jay did this during the dinner hour and then when dancing started it was high energy (amazing sound system!) and no one left the dance floor until they kicked us out of the place. Outstanding!

Jay of Brannan Entertainment did our wedding back in June (I know super late!). He was okay. Leading up to the ceremony, he would take weeks to answer our emails. Sometimes he would answer I'll email you later with the answer within a few minutes of me sending the email and then never email me again! He tried to make up for it and we though everything was going to be great, until the day of the wedding. He was on time, fully set up and ready to go, but then he played the wrong music for me (the bride) to walk down the isle too! He then proceeded to play the wrong music/song for when my Groom and I were walking down the isle after we were pronounced man/wife. It isn't something that anyone else is going to know, but we did. We also gave him instructions that only the best man/ maid of honor would get to do a toast. He then proceeded to give my very drunk alcoholic/just out of rehab brother the microphone. That same brother made a fool out of us with drunken lies and bull crap that we got to explain the rest of the wedding to the rest of our family and friends. Awesome right? Was super disappointed. The rest of the night was fine and music continued to play and he did a great job on the shoe game we played. Okay for the price I guess.
