Chauncey and her team exceeded all expectations! As a bride planning a destination wedding in Charleston, we knew we needed someone local and knowledgeable - from our first call, to our monthly check-ins, to our planning visit, we felt confident Chauncey was keeping us on task and on budget! But nothing could have prepared us for the execution of our wedding day! I kept saying throughout the day, it just feels so calm, and I attribute that all to Chauncey and her team! From the coordination of our vendors, to the setup, to making sure we always had a drink on the dance floor, Pat and I were able to feel fully present in the moment, knowing we had an incredible team behind us to ensure all the little details and logistics were taken care of. I truly could not have asked for a more perfect day, and believe whole-heartedly that day wouldn’t have been possible without Chauncey. THANK YOU! We would hire Chauncey and her team over and over again, they exceeded all expectations and we are so grateful we were introduced to her early on in our planning process. -

I can’t say enough amazing things about Chauncey, Riley and the rest of Bouquets and Bowties. From the very beginning of planning, they were there every step of the way answering all my questions and willing to take a call. She has wonderful insight on different vendors throughout Charleston and was able to make great recommendations to us. B&B made sure our day went without a hitch, and we truly could not have done it without them. Our bridal party and families were able to truly enjoy the day without having to worry about a thing! If you are looking for a planner in the Charleston area, you cannot go wrong with Bouquets and Bowties! -

Bouquets & Bowties saved my wedding day!
There are not enough words to describe how incredible Chauncey, Riley, Dwight, and the Bouquets & Bowties planning team are! They are truly heroes and I don’t know what I would have done without them. From the very beginning, Chauncey and her team were so personable and professional and we knew we were in good hands. They answered all of my countless questions and I never felt like I was a bother. Genuinely, I didn’t know how people plan weddings without a planner but now I don’t know how anyone does it without the B&B team specifically. My outdoor 4/8/23 wedding should have been the perfect spring day until a horrible cold front rolled in and produced literally the coldest high temperature we have ever seen on this day. It was forecasted to dump rain all day and I was a WRECK. Thankfully I had Chauncey to handle everything that week and I knew that even though the weather wasn’t what I was envisioning, I had full confidence that her team would make it the best day possible. They had a Plan B, C, and D for the weather and they reacted so quickly to the rapidly changing weather. We were able to have the gorgeous outdoor ceremony that we wanted and then a beautiful tented reception that the team set up impeccably. It started dumping rain right at the last song of the night and the planning team were such troopers running around outside making sure our families’ cars were packed up and the venue was cleaned up. In addition to everything above, I want to make sure that I add that every member of the team felt like a real friend. There were several moments during the day where I just needed to crack jokes with someone and Chauncey and Riley were there laughing along with me. Just do yourself and your wedding a favor and book Bouquets & Bowties! Love you guys! -

Chauncey and her team are absolutely incredible! She made the planning process so simple and completely handled all the communication with vendors. The day of was absolutely amazing and the team ran the show flawlessly without any stress. Even down to the smallest detail, nothing went wrong. I cannot believe how easy she made this experience for us. I had no stress and was able to completely enjoy the experience. Do not look any further, you have to have Chauncey and B&B! -

Chauncey and Riley are INCREDIBLE and ensure that your wedding day is exactly as you have envisioned it. Personally, they put me at ease and genuinely made the whole wedding planning experience enjoyable and stress-free. I was anxious about everything that needed to be done, but Chauncey’s constant communication, email check-ins, and meetings made everything manageable. She will take everything off of your plate and will be there for you every step of the way. She handles everything in stride and with a sense of professionalism- even if your mom decides to take a FaceTime conference call in the middle of a design meeting (ha!). No detail goes unnoticed with them; I made a request to have time to eat all of the hors d’oeuvres during our cocktail hour. They made sure that happened and even got me my own platter to enjoy with my husband out in the courtyard before we went inside for the reception.
Not only were Chauncey and Riley there for me in terms of our wedding, but when my grandmother passed away two days before the wedding, they made sure that they were there for me and my family personally, too. They were simultaneously a shoulder to cry on and they lifted my spirits so that I could enjoy our big day. To our surprise, a few days later at my grandmother’s funeral, the most beautiful floral arrangement was delivered from Chauncey and Riley. That gesture meant so much to me and my family. They go above and beyond and genuinely care about all of their clients. I can not say enough wonderful things about Bouquet and Bowties and highly recommend them to everyone planning a wedding in the Charleston area! -

Amazing in every way!!
Chauncey and her team were AMAZING in planning and executing our wedding. I am super type-A and am from out of state so I thought planning from afar would be challenging. With Chauncey it couldn’t have been easier! She and her team kept me informed every step of the way and completely saw my vision. They were so organized. Our wedding day was better than I could have ever imagined. Riley was amazing and helped with our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner set up! Highly recommend this incredible team!!! -

Wow were we lucky to be able to book these ladies! It was a little over a year out from our date that we started interviewing wedding planners (and thank God we did, because things book up in Charleston SO fast), and as soon as we started talking with Chauncey and Riley we knew before we even got off the phone with them that they were the ones we wanted.
Riley ended up being the lead planner for us, and I have to admit that when they told us that I was concerned because she is so young looking, and I figured she couldn’t possibly be very experienced. I’m here to tell you: DO NOT LET LOOKS DECEIVE YOU!! She is absolutely on top of her game! For being as young as she is, you would think she’s been doing this her whole life. I promise you, you are in the best hands you could possibly be in if Riley Johnson is planning your wedding.
I can’t even tell you how many times she was there to reassure me that everything would be perfect and to ease my anxieties about everything coming together, and she was right: Everything did turn out perfectly, because of HER. It literally rained all day on our wedding day right up until our ceremony. Our reception area was completely flooded out, and on the fly she came up with the perfect back-up plan and saved everything. I don’t know how she pulled it off, other than she is just AMAZING at what she does. And probably a genius lol.
From beginning to end, she saw to it that my vision for my dream wedding came true. I am literally about to cry happy tears just writing this and thinking of how grateful I am that we had her. She really took the best care of us, and she will take the best care of you too if you are lucky enough to to get to have her as your planner.
So have I raved about Riley enough?? The answer is no, because it’s not possible. We love you Riley. Thank you for giving us the best day ever. -

My sisters and I all had very different sizes/venues and each wedding turned out amazing. Bouquets and Bowties can really do it all! They are responsive, organized, knowledgable, and creative. From start to finish, I felt so taken care of. They helped with planning, logistics, day of, you name it. Incredible value and unparalleled attention to detail. 10/10 highly recommend. Words can’t describe how thankful we are for Chauncey, Riley and the incredible Bouquets and Bowties team. They were by our side since the very beginning: from helping us form our original wedding vision for 200+ guests to seamlessly translating this vision for 30 guests during a global pandemic. This is a clear testament to their experience in the field, strong relationships with trusted vendors and their sheer talent.
In terms of our vision, it was very important to both of us and our families that our wedding be as safe and sustainable as possible and invest in locally-owned women-run businesses. Being a woman-owned business themselves, Bouquets and Bowties helped us identify the vendors that “got it” and supported our expectations among vendors to reduce, reuse and get creative.

As soon as I mentioned to anyone that Chauncey was my wedding planner they would reply, “Oh, she’s the best!” She has the reputation of doing anything it takes to get something done and that’s what you want in a planner. I worked with her for over a year planning our wedding and I never once felt like we weren’t on the same page. She was always quick to respond to my questions no matter how small or insignificant they might have been. She has an answer for everything because she has done every type of wedding. She was always quick to offer various options and price ranges for vendors, decor, rentals, etc. I wanted to try to do a lot of DIY aspects and she made them all happen without hesitation.
Especially during COVID, you want someone who knows what’s going on with the ever changing circumstances, rules and limitations. She assured me that my wedding would happen the way I wanted it. Before the thought even crossed my mind, she had hand sanitizer stations rented and cocktail tables spread out for guests who wanted to distance themselves.
The day of our wedding, Chauncey and her team waited on me hand and foot. I was ushered around to everything I needed to do getting ready and taking photos. They brought me food and drinks. Carried my veil, train and bouquet around following me everywhere making sure I was happy. I seriously felt like I was being helped by friends all day. I didn’t have to think about what I needed to do next, they just made sure I did it. I was never bothered with any issues that may or many not have arisen and I will never know. They took care of everything before I noticed!
If you are planning a wedding and want as much stress taken off your plate as possible, hire Chauncey. She will absolutely make sure whatever you want gets done. I have no idea how she does it, but she does tons of weddings every month and kills it. She is definitely the best wedding planner in Charleston, even if I’m biased! I loved working with her and felt sad afterwards not constantly being in touch with her! I can’t thank her and her team enough for everything!! -

Chauncey and her team at Bouquets and Bowties made my wedding dreams come true and took all the stress out of planning a wedding! They were always quick to respond to all my texts and emails, which was very reassuring when planning a Charleston wedding from PA in this crazy COVID time. Everyone says that the last month of planning prior to the wedding is extremely stressful and hectic but I can honestly say that I never felt this way because of how amazing Bouquets and Bowties were. They coordinated with all our vendors and made sure everyone knew when to be where and at what time for the big day. They took the stress out of planning a wedding, even when we weren’t sure COVID was going to allow for it. Our day went flawlessly as the team was more than prepared with everything we needed and more. They even had superglue on hand when one of my guests blew our both dress shoes walking INTO the wedding (lol) and were able to fix his shoes. They turned the blank slate of the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall into the magical wedding dream that I have always hoped for. I can not say enough good things about Bouquets and Bowties. -

Chauncey & Riley - I cannot say enough good things about y'all. First of all, you're one of the reasons I even made it down the aisle in 2020. Second, you did FANTASTIC! The best part about my wedding day was not having to stress once, and walking into The Cedar Room and seeing my vision aka Pinterest come to life perfectly. Anyone reading this HIRE THEM! They're worth well more than you're paying for, believe me. Oh and one word of advice - read your timeline! Thought my wedding ended at 11pm, however I got a bonus 30 minutes that I wasn't aware of thanks to Chauncey's wonderful planning... but should have read my timeline ;) -

Words cannot describe how incredible Chauncey and her team have been during our 2 year wedding planning. Since our wedding was a destination and we were not very familiar with what vendors to use. Chauncey provided us a list of vendors and gave recommendations knowing our budget. We were about 2 months before we wedding when COVID put everything on hold. Not only was Chauncey helping us with re selecting a new date but was also confirming with our vendors to ensure they were available too. She made sure the transition was smooth and seamless. Since Chauncey had a prior commitment on our new wedding date, she assigned Riley to take over. Riley's communication and attention to detail was impeccable. I know our wedding was not the only one being rescheduled but Riley did a phenomenal job ensuring nothing was being missed. The day of our wedding was stress free, fun, and memorable because of Chauncey and Riley. We could not thank them enough for not only planning our first wedding date (pre-covid) but to continue the wedding planning 3 months later. I would 100% recommend Bouquets and Bowties to anyone looking at Charleston for there wedding. You will not be disappointed. -

We cannot speak highly enough of Chauncey and her team. Going into planning our destination wedding in Charleston, we hadn't really thought about hiring a planner until we decided on Boone Hall as a venue, which required a planner. Well, that just about saved our butts, because we're not sure if we would have definitely hired a planner and gotten the chance to meet and work with someone as amazing as Chauncey.
Right off the bat, when we hopped on the phone with her about 9 months before the wedding, my wife and I were blown away by her professionalism and personality. We were convinced that there wasn't a single curveball she couldn't handle. Not to say we had anything serious pop up, but coming from Chicago, there were a number of things we asked her team to do, that they handled with ease.
And on the day of the wedding, my wife and I had a goal to get through much of the night rather swiftly to have the reception last as long as possible. Chauncey and her team were UNBELIEVABLE in keeping things moving and making that happen for us. Between taking care of guests who needed to leave early and pulling an extra corsage out of her bag when mine broke, we felt like we couldn't have been in better hands.
Over the rest of the weekend, we reflected on how hard we worked over the course of the 10-months we spent planning ALL that goes into destination weddings, and we found ourselves incredibly thankful to have been able to work with such great vendors, but Chauncey in particular. Her team made a destination wedding, which could have been challenging in a number of ways, completely effortless and helped us carelessly enjoy a day that was honestly 1000x more than we ever thought it could have been. Massive thank you again to Chauncey and her team for being so amazing. -

If you are looking for a wedding planner to bring your dreams to life, make your entire planning process and wedding day COMPLETELY stress free, and to be able to thoroughly enjoy every singe second of your big day… you HAVE to book Chauncey and her team right now. Beginning to plan a destination wedding is a bit intimidating, but from the first time I spoke with Chauncey I completely trusted her to plan our day. Throughout the entire planning process she was so thorough, responsive, and turned all my visions into a reality.
The day of our wedding was absolutely flawless. If anything went wrong – I have completely no idea! I feel that our day went as perfect as it could have gone. Every thing I threw at Chauncey and her team, they didn’t blink they just fixed it. Like forgetting our marriage license in our hotel room (someone jumped in a car and went to our room to get it), or forgetting the wedding rings in the bridal suite - 3 floors up- (someone ran up to get them)… truly I didn’t have to worry because I knew Chauncey and her team would fix it. Then, when I stepped outside and saw our main reception space I was completely blown away. I could not believe that it was ours. She couldn’t have done a better job!
As soon as we stepped off the bus from our ceremony at the Gadsden House, Chauncey greeted us with our preferred drinks. (Side note: We selected 6 different colored koozies for our reception… my drink was in a pink koozie and my husbands was in a blue… maybe that was just by chance but I have a feeling that THAT is how thoughtful her and her team are). We were taken to a private room to enjoy our hors d’oeuvres and to just take a deep breath. This was so nice to have a moment just for us. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests before our first dances. Once the first dances were complete, we were able to sit and enjoy our reception food while they brought us a plate from each station. At this point in the night, I decided I could not go on without taking my heels off, but thankfully Chauncey and her team (who clearly thought of everything) brought me a pair of flip-flops and took my heels up to the bridal suite and put them in my bag. For the remainder of the night, Chauncey and her team took care of us – by us I mean everyone in our family. She set up a special spot for my grandmother with a heater on the dance floor so she could see, brought her food and drinks, even brought our parents food and drinks… they truly catered and cared for all of us.
As our night concluded, her team gathered all of our belongings and placed them in the getaway car. This allowed us to enjoy every last second of our reception with our family friends. To our surprise, when we got back to our hotel room with our things, Chauncey and her team packed us to go boxes of our food, cake, and even a bottle of champagne!
I could go on and on about how wonderful my experience was with Chauncey and her team… but instead go book her NOW so you can have the same wonderful and perfect wedding! My husband, our families, and I cannot stop raving about the team of Bouquets and Bowties… from the bottom of our hearts – THANK YOU B&B! We love each of you so much!

I cannot say enough good things about Chauncey and Bouquets and Bowties. Chauncey and her team are truly the only reason our destination wedding happened at all. We were married at Creek Club at I’On just 36 hours after Hurricane Dorian passed through Charleston. Chauncey gave me and my very anxious parents daily updates from the city and remained reasonable but optimistic throughout the process. As a note, she is GREAT with anxious parents! She maintained contact with all of my vendors during the hurricane and helped them to coordinate their arrivals, and all of the details. She helped the venue to get everything cleaned up and ready day-of. She had even helped to plan back-up plans for the back-up plans, should the hurricane be worse than we expected.
Even before the hurricane, I was so thankful for the assistance Chauncey and her team provided. I went with the partial planning package, but Chauncey provided the help detailed in that package and more! She was so organized and helped me stay on track with the tasks that needed to be completed. She has strong relationships with the vendors in Charleston and Mount Pleasant, and even negotiated for discounts on some contracts. She also helped my in-laws plan our rehearsal dinner, which she pulled off flawlessly, less than 24 hours after the hurricane. I’ve said to everyone who has asked how my wedding went, and I could not mean it more. Aside from picking my husband, hiring Chauncey and her team with Bouquets and Bowties is the best decision I made in the entire process! -

If you're searching for the perfect wedding planning team stop now and call Chauncey with Bouquets and Bowties! There is absolutely no way we would have had the wedding of our dreams without her. She handled every detail throughout the process and was beyond professional. Chauncey kept us right on schedule to make sure we wouldn't miss a thing. And an added bonus is that she has a lot of little items like frames/candles/vases for you to use instead of having to purchase on your own. Beyond her organizational skills and hard work, it feels like you are planning a wedding with a friend when you work with Chauncey and her team and what more could you ask for when you're planning such a special day. Getting a wedding planner was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process. For those who think you don’t need a planner – YOU DO. Especially if you are planning a destination wedding you need full planning, not day of coordination, not half – FULL PLANNING. Chauncey will be your wedding wizard. She will guide you through the process and make your vision come to reality. She knows every vendor and has great relationships with them. She is patient and quick to respond to any of your questions and concerns. Dealing with brides is not easy - brides are psychos. I sent Chauncey a 14-page style guide when we first met - I was out of my mind. Did she freak out? Nope, she said we can certainly make a version of this happen. AND SHE DID! My husband turned to me during our wedding and said “Wow, I can’t believe this is our wedding”. We heard that over and over from guests amazed at the décor. Our wedding was incredible because of Chauncey and her team. Extra shout-out to Riley who is the mini wedding wizard. Our wedding was not the picture-perfect weather day you hope for, it was 38 degrees, gray, rainy and high winds. Riley was there at the crack of dawn handling everything and reassuring me. She is a dream. In conclusion, hire Chauncey and her team - you will not regret it. I love them like family and miss them already. If I win Powerball, we are having a wedding every year so I can hang with them.

Chauncey is everything you want in a wedding planner: incredibly friendly, detail-oriented, easy to talk to/confide in, and gets stuff done.
Part wedding planner/therapist/raccoon wrangler, Chauncey went above and beyond to ensure my wedding day was perfect (including making sure we were unaware of the raccoon that snuck into the catering truck or the gas heaters that were throwing flames). She is a force of nature, as she handled family, guests, and vendors with ease. She made sure that we got to eat the appetizers while we were out taking pictures, and that we always had a drink in our hand. She went above and beyond to provide the most stress free environment for us to celebrate and enjoy.
As a Type A bride, I always had pages of questions and details to remind her of, and Chauncey was always on top of them and able to provide a solution and action plan moving forward. She also has the best contacts in Charleston, we got a ton of discounts and incredible referrals for vendors through her. Our entire team of vendors were an absolute delight to work with. I cannot recommend Chauncey highly enough, our wedding would not have been as beautiful and fun without her! -

Chauncey (and Riley!!) were the absolute best decision I made during my wedding planning process. From helping this indecisive bride narrow down exactly what her wedding vision was (pretty sure I officially changed my colors 3 or more times) to helping me thru multiple emotional crises due to difficult family members, Chauncey had the patience of a saint. She put together the ABSOLUTE BEST team of vendors that pulled off an amazing wedding in every possible way.
The weekend of my wedding , due to a personal emergency, Riley was put in charge and ran the show, and did an awesome job!! Everyone (family especially) commented on how great she was to deal with and how seamless everything went (and given a quite difficult MOB, that is a major accomplishment!). I loved working with her the weekend of my wedding. The day of team included Jonathan, who did a wonderful job helping to get everything set up and schmooze our parents to make sure they were taken care of. Riley also made sure my husband and I were taken care of- before we could even think of something we needed or wanted, Riley was right there with it! I can not express how much I love these ladies. You can not go wrong with them! Not to mention, they brought my vision to life and our wedding was gorgeous! -

Chauncey (and team) are absolutely amazing and pure perfection - hiring them will be the best thing you do for you special day outside marrying your fiancé! I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I was for all that she did to make our day perfect particularly being a long distance bride. Throughout the entire process, she was there with quick responses, the best advice, and great feedback - I knew I could go to her with any question big or small. We had an issue with the venue regarding our tented reception (they claimed we never specified we wanted our tent) and long story short, Chauncey resolved the entire issue without me even knowing (!!!) AND had the venue compensate us for our troubles. She made our day absolutely stress free, kept on top of everything (lists, reminders, budgets/payments, table assignments, welcome bags etc.), AND has a warehouse of wedding decor that you have access to when hiring her. I used her full service planning for our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks coordination and full wedding planning. Chauncey is worth her weight in gold AND then some; she deserves 10x what she charges!! All of the vendors in the area love to work with her because of her delightful and graceful attitude. We loved Chauncey!! She did everything asked of her, on the wedding day she made sure everyone was happy and went as far as pulling a wagon down the aisle with the Ringbearer and 2 Flowergirls in it! Bouquets and Bowties was our planner for our entire (year plus long) engagement. We chose a partial plan, but Chauncey eagerly took on as many responsibilities as possible, often before we could ask. She worked very hard to make our every request a reality and has the patience of a saint. As we were planning our wedding from New York, we relied heavily on Chauncey's recommendations for local vendors. We had a very specific vision in mind, and she helped us assemble the best possible vendor team to make it happen. The majority of our communication was over email and Chauncey was always very quick to reply. We did make a few trips to Charleston for necessary in-person meetings and each time, Chauncey worked with us to maximize our time so we were covering the most ground possible in our limited time.
Then came the actual day of--we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the entire Bouquets and Bowties team! Their team was so friendly, warm and attentive—we all felt like they were genuinely excited to be a part of our day and ready to accommodate every request, no matter how small. I simply mentioned that I had forgotten my toothbrush and wanted to brush my teeth before the ceremony and the next thing I knew, someone had run out and bought me a toothbrush and toothpaste! They truly went above and beyond and were happy to do it!
Chauncey and her team made our wedding day absolute perfection--for us and our families. Every detail was taken care of; we didn't have to worry about a single thing except enjoying every moment. Our wedding day far exceeded our expectations and a large part of that is how seamlessly Chauncey managed every little thing. It truly meant the world to us and we didn’t want it to end! -

My daughter, Jessica, lives in New York, and I live in Alabama so planning a wedding in Charleston was something of a challenge. Chauncey and her team worked with us to choose vendors, create a timeline, and work within a budget. Chauncey organized a day in Charleston of tastings for us to choose a caterer and interview a jazz band. Jessica and Chase had definite ideas about what they wanted so they made most of the decisions, but I know they relied on Chauncey’s advice throughout the year of planning. Jessica often said, “I’ll ask Chauncey” when I had questions about some aspect of the wedding.
Weddings are expensive and can be very stressful. On the day of the wedding, Chauncey and her team took all the worry out of the details so I was able to spend the day enjoying the experience with my daughter, friends, and family. I was so pleased that we had someone there who was saying, “Let me take care of that for you” or “I can make that happen.”

She helped make our Family Feud dream a reality!
I purchased the Partial Planning package. I can’t say enough good things about Bouquets and Bowties!! Our small destination wedding at Gadsden House was more special and memorable than I could have imagined thanks to Chauncey, the B&B team, and the vendors she recommended.
My favorite moment with Chauncey was when my fiancé mentioned an idea he had - surprising our families with a live game of Family Feud at the reception. Her eyes lit up and she excitedly started brainstorming. Chauncey handled all of the logistics - rentals, design, music, and had one of her brilliant team members host as Steve Harvey. It was the highlight of the whole weekend!!
Chauncey consistently went above and beyond. Her extensive knowledge of local venues and vendors was invaluable. My fiancé and I were only able to visit Charleston a few times during the planning process. During our short visits, Chauncey seamlessly scheduled (and attended!) venue tours, meetings with vendors, a tasting, and helped us choose decor at EventWorks Rentals. We couldn’t have done it without her!!

Chauncey will make your dreams come true!
I can safely say booking Chauncey and Bouquets and Bowties was one of THE BEST WEDDING DECISIONS I made!! The entire team is absolutely wonderful, but Chauncey will just knock your socks off. I am extremely type A. I wanted everything to be perfect. Chauncey made it all better than I even could have envisioned. I also felt so relaxed during the entire experience. My friends around me planning weddings were constantly stressed and freaking out. I was insanely calm and loved wedding planning due to Chauncey. Chauncey also managed and worked with me incredibly well. I have been dreaming of my wedding since I was 5 years old. I have more wedding pins on Pinterest than I should admit. If you say do you want A, B, or C, I will answer that I want all of that. I have extremely expensive taste, but was on a strict budget. My dream wedding had unreachable expectations, but Chauncey somehow easily made it happen and with a smile. My wedding still feels like a dream and we stayed completely on budget thanks to Chauncey. Her vendor connections are out of this world. Chauncey got me 4 different desserts and a 3 tiered cake for my budget. I had my DREAM photographer and videographer. I had a completely open bar for dirt cheap. The lighting and decorations were breathtaking. My floral arrangements were swoon worthy. Everything was absolute perfection. The best part was that Chauncey supported my dream from the first moment I met her. The day of the wedding was a complete dream! People always say brides get nervous/cold feet/etc. I have never been more calm in my entire life and that's all thanks to Chauncey. I purposefully shut the window drapes and just let Chauncey do her thing. When I finally looked, it was like all my childhood dreams were coming true. Everything looked PERFECT!! She had thought of every single little detail. I had brought a bunch of random decorations that I liked but didn't have a place for. She incorporated them all in better than I ever could have. I know I'm biased, but my wedding was STUNNING and that was all because of Chauncey. My wedding colors were light pink and mint. It would have been easy to make that look tacky. She somehow made it look like a southern belle's dream. The vendors she recommended were AMAZING! Each company she suggested was unbelievable and made my venue look breathtaking. I still have people telling me my wedding looked like something in a bridal magazine. That was all Chauncey and her team at Bouquets and Bowties!! After the ceremony was when their genius once again showed through. Everyone says "make sure to eat on your wedding day". I thought that was silly, but without Chauncey I would have starved. After the pictures, she pulled my new husband and I aside for 10 minutes to let us soak in the moment. She had all of our hors d'oeuvres waiting for us. Those 10 minutes to eat and just be the two of us was worth it's weight in gold. Later on in the night when we were so busy greeting people, she pulled us aside and had food waiting for us. She also had Travis bringing us our favorite drinks all night with water in between each drink. These seem like easy things, but I would have been a starving, drunken mess if it wasn't for her. When my shoes were hurting my feet, she literally gave me a pair of her shoes. All of that shows her true dedication and passion for her job. Chauncey and Bouquets and Bowties made all of my dreams come true. Go BOOK THEM RIGHT NOW so your dreams come true too! -

Our wedding at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens was absolutely flawless and everything went as planned. Our families and guests continue to rave about the day and how Chauncey and her team put to life all that we planned for over a year.
Chauncey is the gold standard for wedding planners in the Charleston area. From day one, Chauncey was sincere, trustworthy, transparent, and open in all communication. In addition, her attention to detail and proactive mindset was evident throughout the entire process. For instance, my husband's pants ripped on the dance floor and Chauncey and Katherine sprung into action and got his pants sewn and him back on the dance floor in 15 minutes! Not to mention we had several vendors and it was such a relief to not have to be the go-to person for all of these vendors leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Whitney Sent on 11/21/2016Chauncey is AMAZING. We used Chauncey as our day-of-coordinator, a title which does not come close to covering all she did for our wedding! Months prior to our wedding Chauncey provided ideas and assistance in planning every detail of the wedding from the timeline to the seating arrangement.
I bought almost all of our decor and had a unique "rock" theme, which Chauncey executed perfectly. She even steamed our tablecloths days before our wedding. She ran our rehearsal and contributed great ideas to the flow of the ceremony and reception.
In addition to setting all our decor up, her team disassembled it when the night was over and packed all our stuff (there was a LOT!) in our vehicles so we could pick them up the next day.
Any bride, but ESPECIALLY if you are having your wedding at Harborside East, should book Chauncey. Chauncey works with the venue regularly and knows it like the back of her hand. Being a remote bride planning a destination wedding, having someone who knew the venue so well allowed me to plan the wedding smoothly without any surprises or hiccups.
I honestly don't know how she and her team does it- I only ever saw a few assistants, but based on the work they did, there had to be more hiding around! -

So when my original wedding coordinator started missing deliverables and stopped responding to all forms of communication less than three months before the wedding - I panicked. Thank goodness for Bouquets & Bowties. With Chauncey on my team, the wedding planning process transformed from a complicated headache to a dream experience. Chauncey is phenomenal, a skilled professional who brings creative ideas, flawless execution, and an in-depth knowledge of Charleston's wedding vendors. Her impeccable organization and communication (with both us and our vendors) ensured that every single detail was perfect. And equally important? Chauncey truly loves what she does. Her "can-do" personality and positive attitude were a blessing during both planning and on the actual day of my wedding.
