The service was great! Our affordable audio rental included pickup, setup, and drop-off, for no additional charge. The equipment was great, too, and it did exactly what we needed it to! I would rent from this vendor again. -

I hired Boston Audio for my outdoor wedding & reception in May 2021 as my venue didn't have audio equipment and I wasn't hiring a DJ. Sunny was very responsive and easy to communicate with as I determined what I would need for ceremony & livestream audio, a reception mic system for background music and toasts and ensuring it would work with our own laptop. The packages were flexible and more affordable than anywhere else I could find. Morning of the wedding it was sprinkling and we made a game-time decision to trust that the rain would stop. The team showed up on time and were great about being flexible about moving their setup in the tent back to the original outdoor location once the rain stopped. Everything worked easily and smoothly from setup, ceremony, reception, and cleanup. Would definitely hire again! -

Terrible Pipe & Drape Experience
We used Boston Audio Rentals to deliver and install a Pipe & Drape for our November 2022 wedding. Despite assuring us that they had been to our venue “many times” and would be able to provide the Pipe & Drape, they failed to properly set up the Pipe & Drape as agreed and have since failed to respond to our request to discuss the issues following the wedding (other than one email suggesting that the problems with the setup were somehow our fault). We had a terrible experience with this company and would strongly recommend not using them.
Prior to our wedding we told Boston Audio Rentals that we needed the Pipe & Drape to hide the tables which would be preset prior to our ceremony. We gave them the required setup and a picture from our venue from another wedding with our desired setup months in advance (see attached), and they received a diagram from our venue. Based on this information Boston Audio Rentals told us how many sections of Pipe & Drape we needed.
On the day of the wedding their employee showed up and had no knowledge of the setup we required and had to dig through his emails to find the diagram. Once he set it up, he called the groom (point of contact) and explained that he did not have enough sections to complete the desired setup (that Boston Audio Rentals had agreed to months prior) and that he was too far from their office to obtain more sections. As you can see from the picture attached, the setup does not conceal the back of the room at all and further the sheets were also sheer which both obviously completely undermine the entire point of the Pipe & Drape in concealing the tables.
We expressed our dissatisfaction during the day of the wedding, and only after involving our venue coordinator was she able to reconstruct the sections in such a way that at least the back of the venue was somewhat obstructed, but far from the agreed setup that we had paid $1000 for (plus a premature tip that was given upon the employee’s arrival).
We have since reached out to the company who has been almost entirely unresponsive and now suggests the problems were our fault. This experience was extremely upsetting on our wedding day. We also wanted to note that we had no other complaints about any other vendors from our wedding other than Boston Audio Rentals. We would strongly recommend avoiding this company not only for the bad outcome, but also their extremely disappointing customer service and lack of care in their final product. -
