  Dude. Hire them.

  Our wedding was amazing, and BoomBox Heroes are what people will remember about it the most. They read the room like nobody's business. We had them choose the setlist (highly recommend you do the same) and every song they played felt like it brought more people to the dancefloor.
  
  We had the 6 piece band option with 2 lead singers. They learned two songs for us, and knocked them out of the park. The highlight was when they had our entire wedding sing us a Backstreet Boys song. AMAZING.

  Our wedding was amazing, and BoomBox Heroes are what people will remember about it the most. They read the room like nobody's business. We had them choose the setlist (highly recommend you do the same) and every song they played felt like it brought more people to the dancefloor.

  Amazing - hire them!

  My son hired Boombox Heroes for his wedding and what a great decision that was! He researched bands at length and this band was by far the best. My husband and I used to DJ weddings and saw a lot of bands performing. None of them was anywhere near as entertaining as Boombox Heroes. Every song was amazing; they went from song to song with no dead time in between; and Louise is a true professional. She didn't just sing - she performed. She made it seem like she had known the bride and groom forever and made the entire evening very personal. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a band for any occasion - they are amazing!

  Best decision we made!!

  Boombox heroes literally MADE our whole wedding. It’s been a week since the wedding and I’m STILL thinking about how amazing they were! Their energy, professionalism, talent, costume changes, and the incredibly fun show they put on is NEXT LEVEL. SO MANY guests commented that it felt like they were at a concert and absolutely LOVED the show!!
  
  I will forever cherish the memories they created for us and am so so so happy we booked them. Every single member of the band is an incredibly talented musician in their own right. Together, they are mind blowing.
  I’m OBSESSED with the lead singer, Louise. First off, she was on the Voice, so you know she’s super talented. Second, she is one of the greatest humans ever - sooo unbelievably kind, charismatic, and hilarious from start to finish. Every member of her band follows suit - super fun, friendly, and talented. Third, they have an extensive song list but are willing to learn new songs for you too! She created an entire Taylor Swift medley for us with our favorite songs. She is also THE greatest MC on earth. She really knows how to keep the energy up and keep the party going! Our dance floor was packed all night!! So many of our friends and family members commented that she put on a great show. Lastly, she is a true professional (as is the rest of the band) - she planned every detail with us and executed it to perfection. She even edited our first dance song so the volume would be ideal throughout. She did soo much for us, really going WAY above and beyond.
  
  I really don’t think words can do it justice. If you’re on the fence, just book them!! You won’t regret it. It was the single best decision we made for our wedding!
  
  Who you book for entertainment sets the tone for the entire wedding. If you want it done right, book boombox heroes!

  We hired Boombox Heroes for our destination wedding in SoCal and it was the best decision! They are absolute rockstars and the kindest and nicest people too! They brought the best music, performance and energy to our small wedding. Very engaging with the crowd which is exactly what we had hoped for! Highly recommend them!

  Most Amazing Band I have ever SEEN!

  It's taken a while for me to sit down and write a review for these guys because there is simply not enough words to express our gratitude to them on our big day. This is both of our second marriage and we didn't want a large crazy wedding, Boombox had a range of options and we picked a smaller version of the band since we only had 50 people - but the most important thing to us was people having a good time and dancing! I will tell you I have never seen at any wedding a band that got that many people on the dance floor and kept them there, and i've never seen a wedding band sound so incredible, it was like hearing the best of the best, this is not a bar band this is mind blowing amazing. Even my 80 year old aunt was dancing. They blew us away. Another thing I must mention is working with them was an absolute pleasure, the band leader Louise takes the time to talk to you and personally get to know each of us and what made us special. We had many conversations on the phone for hours going through changes and schedules and she was totally excited and willing to be there for us for whatever we needed. She even had the band learn a few surprise tunes for my father in law and us, it was so special.
  Our guests could not stop talking about the quality of the performers, not one note was missed and they danced and sang their asses off. Each one of the musicians was absolutely the best I've ever seen , so entertaining, cool and all super nice and humble. We will never forget the extra effort they put in to make our family feel so special. They even did a special Taylor Swift song and let our daughter sing with the band. Which had us all in tears.   Above and beyond musicianship

  We hired Boombox Heroes for our wedding in June 2023 off a personal recommendation, and we were completely over-the-moon satisfied with their performance. They say they are going to bring the energy on our special day, and they deliver. Hiring a band in the LA area, you expect the musical standards to be a little higher, and Boombox Heroes' vocals and musicianship were even stronger than expected. They built a set list from our likes and dislikes, and we added a guitar and saxophone duo during that time for a reasonable fee, and guests were raving about how talented they were. In between sets, the band handled their DJing and MCing responsibilities with professionalism and aplomb. We can't say enough about how taken care of we felt from our first meeting over zoom up until the Last Dance. Thank you, Boombox Heroes!

  They made our wedding humm

  Louise and her team at Boombox are just fantastic. Her Australian humour shined through and everyone had a great time. The quality of these guys, I can't believe that they are playing at my wedding, they would be in an arena if they wanted. Even when I had a bit of a meltdown a few days before Louise handled it. My father even got up and did an embarassing song and they made him sound great. Don't hesitate to hire this team!

  I danced all night!

  My guests could not believe the quality of these guys. They are true professionals and honestly they are such good value for money. I am sure that they are famous without me knowing! Everyone commented on how good the music was and the lead singer was awesome and so good at getting everyone on the dancefloor.

  Energetic, Unique, Inspiring

  Boombox Heroes exceeded my expectations and brought an element to my wedding that, not only gave us the performance of a lifetime, but created an experience that all my guests still can’t stop talking about! Louise is the singer, band leader and owner! She is this cheeky, Australian, powerhouse, singer, boss lady that helped and guided me through the whole process, whilst making me laugh and feel less stress along the way. What I also liked is that she has all the equipment I asked for plus she knew what speakers would be needed for my 90 guest cocktails/reception, she brought lighting and the sound was perfect! Im so glad I went with Boombox Heroes it truly was an energetic, unique, and inspiring part of my wedding I’ll never forget!

  Best band and decision ever!

  WOW. This is by far the best and most amazing band WE HAVE EVER SEEN!! . My now wife left me in and charge of music and we looked at so many different bands before deciding on Boombox Heroes, they just seemed so much fun and so much energy. The whole night they had everyone dancing non-stop, and our guests truly could not stop raving about the band and asking how on earth we found them. It felt like we had hired absolute superstars, and that we were at a full blown lady gaga concert. I cannot recommend them enough Louise and her team were amazing to work, hit all our random song requests and killed it! - so professional and they sound incredible, our guests are still talking about the band weeks later, they made our night so special.

  We saw this band at our friends wedding and had to have them, they truly sound incredible. We had a crazy vision for our wedding, we wanted formal cocktail then 70s, then 80s then 90s! This band truly brought it and tailored each set with so many awesome songs and COSTUME CHANGES! wow we were so blown away! highly recommend they are the best band i've ever heard.

  New and old all in one - great wedding entertainers

  My girlfriend insisted I give these guys a call after seeing them at a friends wedding. I went along to see them in action and once I heard them I knew they were great for us. We had a mixture of 50's 60's right thru to current hits that we wanted and they were able to do the lot. We decided to add a brass section as my partner is a 'wa wa' fanatic. It was great. We had around 85 guests and in the end I think we have around 84 dancing, it was great. I cannot recommend this band highly enough. They had great customer service and nothing was too much of a problem.

  Superstar rockstar band

  This band legit was like having Lady Gaga, Bruno mars and Beyonce at your wedding. They were incredible. So talented and so much energy, the guitarists were jumping off the stage dancing with the crowd everyone was incredible. We went for the 10 piece with horns and it was worth every cent, they actually are better priced than most wedding bands out there and the quality is better. We were stoked

  We really cannot say enough about the service we received. Louise was with us all the way and talked us through all the options.   I was a little apprehensive about booking BoomBox Heroes without ever having seen them preform live, but like other reviewers have said, it was the best decision I could have made. They PACKED our wedding dance floor and even had people who have been saying, "I don't dance..." for 60 something years up and dancing. Ages 12-65 danced all night long, and we even had a crowd of strangers develop on the street outside our wedding venue (the venue's windows were large and open) watching the band perform. They are SO talented, and SO professional.
  
  Louise, the band leader, went above and beyond to answer all of my questions for the entire year leading up to the wedding. We had many telephone calls to go over every little detail and she even cut and edited the songs I wanted to use during the ceremony. She was well organized, very responsive and so easy to talk to. Best of all, she also acts as an MC and kept the reception moving/on-time by announcing speeches, first dance, when dinner was ready, etc.
  
  A very special thank you to all the band members for making the extra trek to Catalina Island to perform for us. We know it wasn't easy, and we know you were stuck using equipment that you were not used to, but we sincerely appreciate how accommodating all of you were to us, and to our budget. The bands' willingness to spend the night on the Island really took the pressure off of scheduling on an already chaotic night.
  
  I cannot recommend BoomBox Heroes enough. Do not hesitate to book them! The morning after our wedding we were already talking about what excuse we can come up with to throw another party just to have BoomBox Heroes perform again.

  We knew that a good band would make our wedding special, and we looked far and wide for a group that could elevate the night into a memorable party for everyone. I'm so happy we found Boombox Heroes. They had everyone on the dance floor for four sets of amazing music. I sweat right through my tuxedo and had one of the best nights of my life.
  
  Louise is the band leader, lead singer, and point of contact for the wedding couple. She was just fantastic to work with. She has so much love for what she does that it's contagious. She did a great job of working with us to create precisely the night we wanted -- a first set of older songs to get family members involved, and then three sets of blistering, heartfelt and totally fun 80s rock and new wave. We paid a little extra to bring in their male vocalist so the band would have full versatility, and it was definitely worth it. The band worked with us on designing the playlist, and also offered to learn three new songs for the night. We loved seeing them fully embrace our requests.
  
  At the end of the night, the venue reps told me that they absolutely loved the band as well, and would be strongly recommending them to future clients. Overall, Boombox Heroes provided the perfect blend of consummate professionalism and total joy. We could not have been happier. They made our dream wedding come true.

  After losing our initial band two months before our wedding date, we started looking for a band to perform for us...we found Boombox Heroes and booked them! We were nervous at first, having never seen them in person, but they surpassed our expectations! I am actually so glad we ended with Boombox Heroes instead of who we had initially hired! They made it a much better party than it would have been!!! We were able to choose what they would play at our wedding from an extensive song list that Louise provided us. They also learned a special first dance song along with other requests and performed them beautifully. From set up to tear down, they were professional and super organized. We were having a backyard wedding and wanted a great party! They had awesome energy and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. They seriously were better than I even imagined any band we hired could be for our wedding. Several guests took their card and more than I can count asked us for their name and where we found them/how to book them! We loved them so much that just a day or two after our wedding we started talking about when we could hire them again! We would love to have them for an 80's party or Halloween or New Year's!!! They're awesome and I would recommend them without hesitation for any wedding or party! We can't wait for the opportunity to hire them again!!! Oh yeah, Louise does a great job as MC also!!! She's amazing and so is the band!!!

  Fabulous entertainment. The best ever playlist. They kept the party going non stop for hours.

  BoomBox Heroes was one of the best decisions that we could have made for our wedding. They were accommodating to making their setlist to our desires. They offered fun outfit themes that we chose. I asked for some special requests, and they learned the 2 songs for us; both of which turned out great!

  BoomBox Heroes was one of the best decisions that we could have made for our wedding. They were accommodating to making their setlist to our desires. They offered fun outfit themes that we chose. I asked for some special requests, and they learned the 2 songs for us; both of which turned out great!
  When the big day came, they had top-quality sound equipment, lights, stage settings, and sound/light/video techs. It was a full-service for a very affordable cost! They even allowed me to come up and sing with them! There is no doubt that they were the hit of our wedding, and made it a party that would not be forgotten. They were a delight to talk to over the phone and Louise listened to all our crazy requests and ideas, and went above and beyond to make our dream wedding entertainment come true. They worked within our budget and had amazing sound and lighting which brought to life our small out door venue into a beautiful entertainment dance party. Louise met with us and our planner at the venue and walked us through the exact set up of the band a month before the wedding. She also gave us great ideas on how to make the evening even more special. The absolute talent of the musicians is out of this world and just so fun and looked great! They brought our wedding to a higher level and our guests thought we had spent a fortune on the entertainment but they were actually really reasonably priced and worked with us to customize the band size for our wedding size. I am a very very happy bride thank you again boombox heroes.

  I organised my wedding completely on the internet but happened to hear boombox at a show in Long Beach. They were so much fun I asked if they did weddings and I was so glad that they did. They provided a DJ as well for when they had breaks and we were given a list of songs before the wedding to tick the ones we really wanted. We also had a few favorites that we really like that wasn't on their list and that was not a problem. I got great tips from Niki on ideas for fun things that we could do during the night. Louise was a great MC. She kept the night running smoothly even when our best man nearly forgot to do his speech. The best thing was our wedding dance. We had secretly had lessons without our friends knowing. Boombox gave us a track via usb so we could practice. We were a hit even if I say so myself. The only problem of the night was not wanting the night to end. No one was sitting everyone was dancing. Even my gran got up and danced! It was hilarious. If I can give any brides out their, no matter what your budget is, talk to Niki and see what they can do for you. Having a young group like this and not a single DJ or older performers made our night memorable. I have no hesitation in recommending Boombox to everyone.

  I had to organise my daughters wedding online. Everything from flowers, venue, to the band online. It was a risky business as you rely on good honest feedback from others to know whether the band is going to be the best one for the wedding. We wanted a band that could have a good range of not 'too soppy' and not 'too top 40'. In other words we wanted a band that we could get everyone by the end of evening out of their seats and dancing and singing along. This meant we had to find a band that knew the hits of the 70's 80's and 90's as well as some of later hits. That is a big ask. We also wanted to be able to find a band that would blend with some of our guests who tend to want to 'hot the microphone' and show their singing talents (such as the father of the bride himself much to her embarrasment). We did everything via email with Louise from Boombox and she was so fantastic in understanding what we needed. She even allowed me to give her a list of our favourites and made sure that they prepared them. When it came to the mc Louise was great in steering the direction and her genuiness and her humour was so uplifting to the event the problem we had was getting the guests to leave. Flower are beautiful, dresses are important but what you truly remember from the wedding is how happy you were at the celebration and Boombox Heroes made it a night we will remember. The energy and atmosphere alone is worth it. I can’t tell you how glad I am to have found this amazing they were hi, fashionable and fun and the entire crowd was on there feet, they also played music that sounded way better than a club everything from Frank Sinatra to Pitbull and Rhianna - even fleetwood mac for Dad.They made my wedding the time of my life and we were singing and dancing the entire night. I can’t thank Louise and the booking manager Nikki enough they listened to all our song requests and made sure they were perfect and timed out everything with our wedding planner so that every moment was special and perfect.
