I've known that I wanted to have my wedding at Bonnet Island since I was 10 years old and saw how beautiful it was when crossing the bridge into LBI in the summer - I never believed my dream would come true! Bonnet Island is truly the most beautiful venue and will be the perfect backdrop to any event. Even in the rainy and windy weather for my wedding, I felt confident knowing that the venue would still look beautiful. The staff is incredibly attentive and they have so much experience that they will 100% know how to handle any situation that arises. Mary was my coordinator and was so responsive and helpful - I knew that I could text or call her at any minute and she would be there for me. She helped handle so many last-minute details and vendor issues which could have been disastrous, but made me feel like everything was under control so I didn't stress! All of my guests said this was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I couldn't recommend Bonnet Island enough!!

We are thrilled with Bonnet as a venue but especially the staff. Everything was preplanned so well. The day went smoothly. The staff was professional and went above and beyond.

Bonnet Island Estate made our dream wedding come true! From the pre planning process with Mary to the day of the wedding at Bonnet Island was absolute perfection. Mary made the planning so easy and stress free. The entire staff paid attention to detail and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. The bridal attendants were so attentive, helpful and friendly! The staff, service, food and beautiful estate were all so amazing that we received so many compliments from our guests. We can’t thank them enough for how great they were. We highly recommend Bonnet Island Estate!

The wedding was absolutely perfect in every single way. That is no exaggeration. Working with Andrea for the months leading up to our big day was an amazing experience- she’s prompt, honest, experienced, and made me feel like she cared so much about our wedding in a way that was bigger than just being her job. The day of crew of Andrea, Lauren, Nancy, Brooke, and Kaylin made all the difference- every detail was taken care of not just for the Groom and I, but our entire wedding party! They bring professionalism to another level and truly are in the business of making dreams come true! The food, the grounds, the staff were all IMPECCABLE!

A dream come true. The estate, it’s amenities, the staff, the food, the grounds….all of it is a 10/10 and made our wedding weekend beyond our expectations!! It’s more than a beautiful venue…it’s an experience. We often reflect on how choosing Bonnet was the best decision we made around our wedding and how we’re so grateful. Andrea is incredible — so attentive, patient, kind, professional and a joy to work with. The whole team is!! They truly make you feel like Bonnet is yours - for the wedding weekend and forever. Where to begin!? Bonnet Island was the very first venue we seriously toured, and while we did our due diligence by looking elsewhere, we knew it was the place instantly. From the setting to the design details to the stellar staff, everything was perfect.

Andrea and her team at Weddings of Distinction took such good care of us. When we had to postpone by a full year due to COVID, they were incredibly flexible and let us transfer to a new date we felt more comfortable with. They were helpful with vendor recommendations but were also happy to work with new faces.

Though we brought in our own independent weekend coordinator to help us out, Andrea still inspired confidence that she could have handled the whole weekend herself with her eyes closed — you'd be in great hands with just the Weddings of Distinction team. The whole team, from the bridal attendants (yay Jordan and Kayla!) to the maître d' to the overnight manager, was so great. If there were any logistical hiccups day of, we were blissfully unaware.

Everyone hopes for perfect weather on their wedding day, but I think where Bonnet shone brightest might have been how it faired even on a sub-optimal day with a weather contingency. We had high winds, cloudy skies, and a sprinkle of rain for our October wedding day, but guests could enjoy the open-air, yet covered Boathouse Chapel ceremony and Veranda cocktail hour while still taking in the gorgeous waterfront views.

We ended up with about 165 guests and an 11-piece band, all of which fit very comfortably in the ballroom. I understand the occupancy can go higher, but this was perfect for us — we filled the space but didn't feel overly crowded.

We loved the overnight accommodations (all 12 on-site guest suites are OUT OF THIS WORLD and such a value add) and the fact that we had the full run of the property for an on-site after party. After many hours of dancing in the ballroom, we set up late-night karaoke in the main floor of the house, which went until the wee hours of the morning. The Bonnet/Weddings of Distinction team really helped our unique vision come to life and encouraged us to be creative with the space!

Our guests keep saying it was the most beautiful setting for a wedding, and they're 100% right. For that, we can't thank the team at Bonnet enough!

Where do I even begin? MIYC was the first venue we toured and we kept coming back to it - the bridal suite alone is a selling point. However, for us, it was Danielle who captured our hearts.

The venue is beautiful and the plus of having some of your guests stay over was unique. We were nervous about the food because my group of guests are 'foodies' however everyone is still talking about how amazing everything was. Unfortunately for us, we got married during a hurricane but let it be known that the crew at MIYC are professionals when it comes to the weather. They did not skip a beat and the day went off without a hitch.

When it comes to Danielle, her professionalism and personality shines through it all. She is so accomodating and helpful. I'm not sure what we would have done without her throughout the whole process. She sends check in emails to keep you up to date on what's going on, what you should be doing at this point in your wedding process which I really appreciated. She is also SO helpful the day of the wedding. She walked me down the aisle with an umbrella (along with 3 other member of the MIYC crew) to make sure not 1 ounce of water got on me. She is perfection in every way possible.

As other people have mentioned in the review, the MIYC is a little pricey but to be able to completely trust your venue is something you can't put a value on.

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day! From our initial tour with Danielle to the morning after our wedding was nothing short of fabulous! Our guests are STILL talking about what a beautiful and different venue Mallard Island is.

Danielle is amazing and fun to work with! She was extremely responsive and professional throughout the planning process and kept in constant communication with us. Wedding planning can be stressful but Danielle made it seamless for us and we can not thank her enough for everything to make our day so perfect!

Our bridal attendant was amazing too! She tended to us from start to finish and was always 5 steps ahead of knowing exactly what we needed without us having to say a word. She helped calm any nerves I had throughout the entire day and kept everything positive and fun!

Of all the places that my husband and I looked at prior to Mallard Island just seemed like a waste of time. Mallard Island is the COMPLETE package. We chose to reserve the estate for the evening and over night to ensure we could have some of our guests stay on property. Having everything in one spot truly spoke to my husband and I - we are hospitality professionals and know how important it is to keep everyone in one place to ensure you don't loose anyone in the relocating process. We are also from the Jersey Shore area (Atlantic City) so we always wanted to have our big day on the water which Mallard delivered with their chapel at the end of the dock over the water, it was a vision. The estate is beautiful with 10 suites for your guests to stay and one MASSIVE bridal suite (ladies, you have to see it, it's jaw dropping). The effortless transition from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, finally to our after party made our night. It was more or less a big house party! We loved the look and feel of Mallard Island and 10/6/19 will go down as the best day of our lives!!

Since my mom is a local florist, I grew up around setting up weddings at Mallard Island since I was young. The staff at Taste became like family to me. I had always dreamed of having my wedding at Mallard and in July of 2019, my dream came true. My husband Josh and I got married at mallard and although I already expected it to be beautiful, I have to say Josh and I were BLOWN AWAY. As a bride I thought I would have the normal "stress" that comes with the big day. Taste Catering took that stress off of us and ran the whole show. Josh and I felt so relaxed and had so much fun together, thanks to Taste. Not only was the food the talk of the night, our guests were taken care of by the wonderful staff.

Lets talk food. Weddings are all about the food when it comes to guests and Taste really brings gourmet savory food and lots of options to the table. Cocktail hour, Salads and the main course were absolutely perfect. Josh even asked for seconds!

A few months later and reflecting on our wedding day, we feel so grateful we chose to have our wedding at Mallard and extremely thankful for Taste Catering for not only catering but truly taking care of us. I had huge expectations since I knew how it was supposed to be done, and still Josh and I are in complete awe of how our big day played out. We couldn't thank Taste enough for making that happen and making our memories one we will never want to forget.

My husband and I had the most magnificent fourth of July wedding at Mallard Island! Danielle was a dream to work with, supporting us at every step of the wedding process, helping us plan our special day, and working closely with my husband and I to make sure each and every detail was perfect. From our amazing food, to orchestrating the day with all of our vendors, Danielle’s team makes sure every last detail of the wedding is perfect. She advised us on every step of the wedding planning, made sure our food was perfect, and gave us the support and advice to put a perfect weeding week together. Taste was accommodating, and flexible- willing to work with you on every last detail of your menu and make sure your food and service is exactly what you want. We looked at so many venues with rigid menus and limited flexibility and the complete customization of our wedding at Mallard Island was a huge draw to planning our wedding.

Our guests are still raving about Mallard Island, and just how magnificent this venue is for hosting a special day! The grounds of the estate are breathtaking, and provide the most incredible background to say “I do”. The grounds at Mallard Island are beautifully manicured, and the staff works to create an experience your guests will not soon forget! I cannot how count the number of friends and family still saying our wedding was the very best they have ever been to! From the bridal attendant on the day of the wedding to the bartenders serving your guests all night the level of service was next level and made for the most incredible wedding experience.

Bonnet Island Estate was the most amazing venue. From the way the staff help decorate to the food, it was absolutely amazing. My wedding was on a Friday, so I was lucky enough to be able to get into the Estate at 9am to get ready the whole day. Lauren, my bridal attendant was absolutely the star of the show for me. She was so attentive and so nice. Every time I turned around she was there to see if I needed anything. She also helped me with my train the whole time I was taking pictures. She really helped keep my stress level down! Everyone came up to me throughout the night telling me how amazing the food was and they weren’t wrong! The food was the best wedding food I have ever had. The next morning everything was already packed up and waiting for us by the door to easily load our cars. The service was outstanding and they made it so easy for us to have an amazing time. They really made my day a dream and I wish I could do it all over again!

The excellence you deserve for your special day

We were very familiar with Taste Catering's reputation for excellence when we chose this venue. We expected them to knock it out of the part and they did. That's no small thing. They set the bar high and they delivered. Every part of our event excelled. Kudos to Danielle and the staff.

I can not thank Danielle, and the rest of the staff at Taste/Mallard enough for making all of my wedding dreams come true! From our first tour of Mallard and meeting Danielle, I knew this was the place for me to have my wedding reception. I always starred at the beauty of Mallard Island Yacht Club while driving over the bridge on our trips to/from LBI, but I fell even more in love with it once going on the tour. The location, decor, and architecture of the Mallard Island Yacht Club in unlike any venue you will find in NJ. Danielle greeted us with a hug and was so cheerful and sweet. Aside from how incredible her personality is, Danielle is extremely prompt, organized, and professional. Whenever I had questions about something she would make the time to get back to me. I am so lucky to have had her and her team with me that day. Not only was the service great, but the food was AMAZING. Most people say you don't get the chance to eat on your wedding, but they made sure I got to have everything/always served us first. People raved about the food and service to us as well. From checking in, to cocktail hour, the reception, and checking out the next day, Danielle and the staff made us feel so at ease. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our marriage! Worth the hype

Weddings of Distinction (we married at Mallard Island w/ Taste Catering) live up to the hype and more. At our first tour of the venue, my husband and I knew right away that there would be no where else that could live up to what Mallard has to offer. With weddings being so expensive right out of the gate, we put a lot of thought into if a venue this costly would really be worth it-and now that our day has come and gone, we think Mallard and everyone you will work with there make it worth every penny.

Danielle was such an efficient and responsive wedding coordinator- she was always available for any questions and had all the answers. So much is taken care of for you by her so that you can really enjoy other parts of the planning experience. They really think through all of the details for you! Our bridal attendant Madeline was the absolute sweetest and so beyond helpful that day- she really was a pleasure to have around! Great staff all around.

Obviously the venue & location speak for itself at first glance. The food through Taste Catering was delicious and had great choices. Being able to go to Carlo's Bake Shoppe in Hoboken for our cake tasting (through Taste) was a really fun added experience.

The experience that my husband and I had at Mallard Island Yacht Club (MIYC) was incredible and nearly flawless from the second I toured the venue until the second I left the morning after my wedding. To start off, I just want to say that although MIYC may seem more expensive than some other venues that you will tour, you cannot put a price tag on this once in a lifetime experience. Throughout my review, I will highlight all of the amazing things I experienced at MIYC.

Ever since we toured the wedding venue 2+ years, Danielle has been AMAZING and a complete angel to work with. Danielle has a lot of experience in weddings and her level of professionalism and her passion for what she does will not go unnoticed. Danielle keeps all of her couples organized with monthly reminders and updates and truly excels at envisioning what her couple wants. With the stress of the wedding lingering, Danielle decorated the venue with ease, made sure that my bridal attendant catered to my needs, and ran the show effortlessly. She is truly an asset to MIYC and any couple would be fortunate enough to work with her.

In addition to Danielle, the other staff at MIYC was also outstanding. My bridal attendant made sure that everything ran flawlessly while I was getting ready and catered to any need that I had throughout the evening. The overnight manager was amazing to make sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay at Mallard Island. The wait staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. The food that Taste Catering provided was delicious and all of our guests had positive things to say about the food that they ate.

MIYC is exceptional and all of my wedding guests agreed that this was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen. As I got ready in the bridal suite, the surrounding views of the water were amazing and what every bride dreams of. Getting married on the dock was beyond beautiful and the chapel is truly amazing. The guest suites are all decorated perfectly and our bridal party loved their rooms. Being able to hangout with our bridal party all night and wake up the next morning and having them be there to celebrate with us was priceless. You cannot put a price on having all of your bridal party under the same roof with you for the entire 24 hours that we were in MIYC. The cocktail hour is the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor and has something for everyone. The outside area with the fire pit and chairs was the perfect hangout for our after party and the luxury of having an after party at our venue was priceless.

Overall, our experience at MIYC was nothing short of amazing and I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have the wedding of their dreams. Thank you to Danielle and the crew at MIYC for the best night of our lives!

When my fiancé and I stepped into Mallard Island Yacht Club we knew it blew every single venue we viewed out of the water (and we went to A LOT of venues). We went home and tried to compare every venue to Mallard & every time we found things that Mallard did that just wasn't possible at other venues. After booking with Mallard, every time we would tell someone where we were getting married people had questions. Do you have to bring everything in? Don't you have to pay to rent the entire estate plus food and alcohol? Do you have to bring your own table and chairs? Although the website may be a little vague, I tell everyone to go and visit the venue! No, you do not have to bring anything in. You work with the wedding coordinator (who I will talk about!) and she walks you through everything. The catering is in house, the table and chairs are provided, alcohol is done with one store, etc. Let's face it weddings are expensive in New Jersey and Mallard Island is something that is 100% worth the money. From the top of the line service from the moment you book with them, to the idea that you can still have your ceremony outdoors if it rains, to the BEAUTIFUL bridal suite, I can go on and on about how perfect of a venue this place truly is.

Danielle is the wedding coordinator and she is a godsend. She was the most responsive person I dealt with throughout the entire wedding planning process. She answered all of my questions quickly and with thought. She made us feel so comfortable in meetings and I knew we were in the best hands when the wedding day came. She even help with the last minute items that I didn't have time to complete when we dropped off the items earlier in the week! I stepped into mallard and she told me "welcome to the bridal bubble, today is your day and everything will be perfect". Boy was she right, I was stress free the entire day and she had a lot to do with that. She even showed me pictures of the centerpieces (which was one of the only things I was worried about) as soon as the florist completed them. She thoughtfully placed all of our wedding signs, guest book, card box, programs, etc. and everything looked beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about Danielle. We were blessed to have someone as amazing as Danielle help with our special day.

Overall, the rest of the staff went above and beyond. The bridal attendant was with me the entire day. She held my lip gloss, fixed my hair, held my dress, brought me tissues when I started to tear up at our first look and even bustled my dress after the ceremony. She was so helpful and sweet. Everyone from the maitre d, overnight staff, wait staff, bartenders, etc. were so friendly and experienced. Our guests continue to rave about the food and how often the passed hors d'oeuvres were going around. I wish I could get married at Mallard Island Yacht Club over and over again. People told us your wedding day goes by so fast for all that money, to us it went by perfectly, not too fast and every single moment was perfect.

Where do I even start? From the moment I walked through the doors at Mallard, I knew this would be the place my husband and I would get married. Everyone who walks through the door clearly knows how beautiful of a venue Mallard is. What they don't know off the bat is just how amazing Danielle is.
Danielle made the wedding planning process a breeze. She provided guidance and suggestions and made my husband and I feel as if we were the only couple she was taking care of. She is truly a master at her craft. Her insanely quick response time to any and all emails never went unnoticed and was always appreciated it. She kept us up to date on timeline and what needed to be done and when. Her no-nonsense and commanding attitude made our day run so incredibly smooth. My husband and I were never made aware of any hiccups that may have happened the day of our wedding. There isn't enough high praise that I could give Danielle. She was truly amazing. As was Maddie, our bridal attendant who made sure we were well fed and always with a drink in hand.

The food was yet another thing to rave about. We were able to tailor our menu with the help of Danielle to taken bits of one menu and bits from another to make it exactly what we wanted. We were requested 3 passed Hors d'oeuvre that were not on the menu and the chefs were happy to create them for us. Everything was amazing and unbelievably tasty.

Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives and we owe much of that to Danielle and the staff at Mallard and Taste Catering. We would without a doubt recommend them to ANYONE!

My experience at Mallard Island was amazing. Danielle was so helpful and sweet, made the whole wedding planning process a breeze. The staff was awesome , my bridal attendant Madeline was so helpful and attentive. The Matre D and servers did an amazing job of keeping my guest happy. i have no complaints everything turn out perfect .

WOW... Fresh back from our honeymoon and all week we were trying to figure out the perfect thing to say but WOW just kept coming to my mind. Danielle and team over at the Mallard Island Yacht Club operate like a well oiled machine. Everything from the initial consultation to our million questions =) through to the real Fairytale wedding that everyone hopes and dreams to have one day. Well... all we can say from first hand experience is... if that is what you dreamed to have it can be a complete reality. Our guests are still raving about it.. we quote "Best wedding we have ever been to!" "EPIC". It's as if you were watching a movie where the magical wedding is happening....except it's yours!

When we first went to Mallard to meet with Danielle for the initial walk through, walking through the doors we knew right away that was the place we wanted to have our wedding. You feel like you are walking into a resort and you never want to leave! The building and grounds are truly magnificent and extremely well taken care of, the rooms are unbelievable and immaculately clean.. the bridal suite...well that's breathtaking and takes things to a completely other level. I assure you, your mouth will drop the minute you see it. Being on the water, the views are amazing and make for great photos. The Groom shack is a man-cave that only guys can dream of. The ceremony in front of that fireplace surrounded by the water... need i say more? Rain or shine it doesn't matter... they have plans for every single scenario! No matter what mother nature throws, you will have the best day of your life.

The food is beyond delicious.. i still remember our tasting (YUMMY). We didn't know what to expect. When picking out the menu, we were salivating at all the food there was going to be. However, having been to many weddings at other places food in such mass quantities doesn't always hit the mark. At Mallard with Taste Catering, well it's as if you are sitting at a top rated restaurant and sets the bar to another level. The menu is unlike anything you would have ever expected for a wedding. Everything from cocktail hour to dinner and dessert to the optional After-Party... you seriously want to live there! There was SO much food and EVERYTHING tasted delicious. I wish i had some here right now as we write this review to be completely honest.

Our wedding was truly a fairy tale... it was everything we could have ever hoped / dreamed and then some. Danielle is a machine and is really passionate about what she does... she's phenomenal at it. She knows everything (we couldn't stump her, i am not kidding!) and I am convinced that she doesn't sleep because as soon as we would send a random email over asking a question we would have a reply instantly. They say wedding planning is stressful.. but the planning was so smooth because everything is so organized.

Danielle and team at the Mallard Island Yacht Club deserve more stars and accolades then you can select here. We are living proof that your dream wedding can be a reality. If you are looking for a venue... make sure you check this place out. I PROMISE you won't be disappointed.

Everything from start to finish at Mallard Island Yacht Club was perfect and so much easier than I ever imagined. From day one Danielle was incredible! Her responsiveness and way of making you feel like you were her only care in the world made planning so easy! Come wedding weekend she and her crew made the entire day go so smooth. There was not one thing I could think of that wasn’t 100% perfect. Maddie, our bridal attendant, was also amazing. Before I could even stop to think to ask her something she already had it done without being overwhelming at all. She was definitely my angel that day!

Taste catering food was to die for! The meals were prepared to perfection, our guests raved about how good everything was from the bacon wrapped scallops hor d'oeuvres to the perfectly cooked fillets. Everything was incredible.

Lauren and I got married on November 3rd 2018 at mallard yach club and had an absolutely wonderful time. From start to finish Danielle and her staff at mallard we’re extremely professional, courteous and respectful. I can not think of another venue that I would have wanted to get married at, the ceremony went as smooth as can be, the transition into cocktail our was seamless and the reception was everything we asked for and more!! Our guests could not stop raving about the venue and all of the staff that made this night truly the best night of our lives!!

I don't know how I can put into words how absolutely perfect our wedding day was at Mallard Island Yacht Club. First and foremost, Danielle of Taste Catering was definitely my fairy godmother for our "Happily Ever After". From the minute we chose Mallard Danielle was there every step of the way to answer my questions. She suggested vendors, told me when things were absolutely necessary versus when I could easily leave them out, talked me off of the ledge about minor details more times than I can count, and FLAWLESSLY handled our rehearsal and wedding day. If I emailed her, I had a response within an hour. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding other than marrying my best friend and spending time with our loved ones. Every decoration my husband and I made or brought with us was meticulously placed where Danielle and I had decided it should go and the things I wasn't sure about Danielle handled beautifully. Walking in and seeing our bride and groom Minnie and Mickey hats on our sweetheart table was such a small beautiful touch that ONLY someone like Danielle would pick up on. Maddie our bridal attendant was amazing and made sure that my husband and I had everything that we needed before and after the ceremony. She held my dress in the cold, carried a plate around during the cocktail hour so that my husband could continue to pick at the food while we greeted guests, made sure our glasses were always full, and most importantly she anticipated what I might need even before I did! When I got back to the bridal suite that night and saw how beautifully all of my belongings had been arranged I just knew Maddie had taken care of it. On top of having the best bridal attendant, I cannot say enough about Marcie and how organized, efficient, and kind she was. The reception and after-party were amazing because of her hard work and attention to detail. Again, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The servers and staff were refined and amazing with all of our guests. People are still talking about how wonderful their servers were that evening and how they have never been to a wedding with such a kind staff.

Mallard Island itself is a dream destination. The grounds are impeccable, the marina level and ballroom are gorgeous, the bridal suite is 3000 square feet of heaven and the each guest room is more beautiful than the last. We visited several venues, even other Weddings of Distinction venues, but the gorgeous boathouse chapel, the views of the Barnegat Bay, the fabulous bridal suite, the shiny black dance floor, and Danielle and her team made Mallard stand out miles ahead of the others. We waited 15 years [since HS] for our perfect day - and at Mallard Island Yacht Club it was just that - PERFECT.

We were recently married at Mallard Island Yacht Club. The venue itself is simply beautiful, but the staff working there makes it that much better. Taste Catering is AMAZING! They go above and beyond for the bride, groom and every single guest. Our food was over the top. Every single guest raved about it and are still raving about it. The service was also unbelievable. Danielle, Madeline & Marcie made sure everything ran so smoothly and that everything was beyond perfect. My husband and myself were able to focus on having fun and interacting with all of our guests knowing that everything behind the scenes was being taken care of by the entire Taste Catering crew. Taste Catering is amazing at what they do. We would 100% redo our wedding with the same food and staff in a heartbeat and change absolutely nothing. We are so sad our special day is over but so happy with how everything turned out. PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!!!!

I wish I could give waaaay more than five stars!!! We got married on April 27th, 2018 at Mallard Island Yacht Club. Danielle from Taste Catering and the team were not only attentive, but caring, lovely, and FUN. Danielle is an ANGEL. She made our three year planning process so easy for us, and always made sure to keep in touch about any changes, events, or important details that were needed. Madeline was the bridal attendant. She was so sweet, and was there for anything the entire day and all through the reception. The entire staff was attentive and on top of any of our guests needs throughout the cocktail hour and reception. It's almost six months later, and I'm STILL hearing from our guests how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to, because of the location, staff, and food. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for everything that Danielle and the Taste Catering team did for us to make our day, truly, the most amazing, unforgettable day of our lives. Thank you all!

Having our wedding at Mallard Island was truly a dream come true! From the day we said yes to the venue, it was a magical experience. Danielle is absolutely amazing!! She made the whole process so fun and stress-free. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. All the staff were extremely professional and on top of everything. I’ve actually never seen a team so well put together to make our big day so flawless. The food was out of this world! We were married back in July and our guests are still talking about the delicious food and the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to. My husband and I are hoping one of our friends will get married there just so we can go back and spend the evening there again! It was the best day of our lives!!

Here it is October, 4 months after my daughter and son-in-law's wedding and we are still receiving rave reviews of The Mallard Island Yacht Club venue, the food and the entertainment. Our photographer named it " The Wedding of the Century" and she has seen a lot of weddings! As mentioned in all the other reviews, Event Coordinator Extraordinaire, Danielle was tenacious. She had told us her aim was to have us arrive day of wedding and leave all our cares at the door. Being the mother of the bride I thought this was too good to be true but Danielle was true to her word! She kept us on target from the first meeting with deadlines and "to do" lists. She also provided us with suggestions for vendors of which we contracted with most. The estate itself is absolutely gorgeous. We only wish all of our guests could have stayed with us but, those that stayed at the Manahawkin Holiday Inn were extremely pleased with the accommodations. Not like the old Holiday Inns! The chapel on the grounds works perfectly with beautiful or inclement weather. We were blessed, it did not rain! Although I was on the lawn with the photographer, I continue to hear how fabulous the hors d'oeuvres were. So great to know our guests were being well served as the wedding party attended to pictures. Taste Catering made sure dinner was hot and delicious and served promptly. SCE was our entertainment event group. I honestly had never been to a wedding where the dance floor stayed full and the music did not stop! Mike's Affordable Shuttle did a great job of shuttling our guests to and from Mallard safely for the evening. There is nothing else to say except... my fairytale came true! The Mallard Yacht Club was beyond elegant and truly any bride's dream. Having Danielle as a wedding coordinator was a lifesaver, this girl has seriously found her calling! I had my personal buddy there to keep me in the "Bridal Bubble" and if it wasn't for her, things would've been MUCH tougher. As the day got closer Danielle kept every detail perfectly planned. The venue was decorated to my exact vision and they really listened to all of my family's wants and needs. The day of my wedding was SEAMLESS with the help of Marcie and Madeline. I can't say enough about the beautiful grounds, efficient staff and breathtaking venue. From the bridal suite (OMG!) to the groomshack to the chapel and cocktail hour... this venue has it all! My guests and I were sitting by the fire pit until 2am just to enjoy the September breeze on a gorgeous Saturday night!

I cannot say enough about Taste Catering in terms of how absolutely amazing they are. Our time at Mallard Island Yacht Club was truly the best day of our lives. From the sumptuous cocktail hour with a slider station, countless passed apps (each more delicious than the next), two types of pasta, a sushi bar and a station with every kind of delicious meat and cheese you can imagine, to piping hot entrees delivered that were cooked absolutely perfectly, I know all of my guests will be raving about the food for a very long time. The staff at Mallard was also flawless - so attentive and truly there to make our day perfect. Danielle always responded to my (many) email questions promptly and was always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate any of my requests. The entire staff worked with us to incorporate as many personal touches as we wanted. I am so sad that our special day is over - truly the best day of my life and I know I have Taste Catering and Mallard to thank for that.

Mallard Island Yacht Club is the venue I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I knew I always wanted to get married on the beach and it could not have been more perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The funny thing looking back now is that I always thought I wanted to get married at Bonnet Island but after seeing Mallard I was in love! The gardens are beautiful, the stone chapel is dreamy, the bridal suite would make Marie Antionette jealous and the ballroom is perfection with access to the wraparound deck.

The long dock near the groom shack (another benefit of Mallard) is the ideal location for a first look. It was so much fun to walk out to my now husband and have our bridal party on the suite deck cheering and whistling up top.

And having all our guests congregate around the fire pit during the after party was absolutely perfect.

I also truly cannot rave enough about Danielle (who works for Taste - the caterer of Mallard). I love her for helping me bring my dream wedding to life. Without her, I know I wouldn't have survived planning a wedding. She told me at our first meeting she would become my best friend until the day of my wedding and she really meant it. I would go a little crazy with the emails asking her tons of questions and no matter what (even if I asked 10x already) Danielle would always respond in just a few hours.

I got married at Mallard Island Yacht Club two weeks ago and my experience was nothing short of amazing. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the staff and management there are wonderful. Danielle Gallone is the wedding coordinator there and she is like a guardian angel! She helped my husband and I keep the wedding planning process stress free. She is always quick to respond to whatever question you may have and she is full of great advice and guidance. Our wedding day went flawlessly due to her and the rest of the staff at the Mallard. I don't think I can quite put into words how Danielle and the Mallard Island team went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our wedding. From the moment we saw the Mallard, we knew we wanted to get married there. I had NO Idea what the team would do for us. From every day leading up to the wedding, Danielle was AMAZING. She was easy to contact, always knew what to do, and always had the answer to all of my bridal-crazy questions. The day of the wedding was something out of our a fairy tale. Every time I needed to know where something or someone was, Danielle and my maitre-de already did it or knew where that person was. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. The Mallard Island Yacht Club is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. From the minute we walked into the venue we were hooked. The day of the wedding we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Danielle and her team are AWESOME!! If your looking for a venue that will make you happy and treat you like a queen, this is the place for you. The decor, the food, and the staff are great. They helped make my dream wedding a reality.

Getting married at Mallard Island was an absolute dream. I'm pinching myself to this day, it feels like it never happened but we have the most phenomenal pictures to prove it did! From the moment we stepped foot onto the property on August 3rd for our wedding day and Danielle gave us a huge hug I knew we were in for the best day of our lives. For me, the day started off in the bridal suite where my bridesmaids and I were completely pampered in the suite's gorgeous salon. Did I mention yet that the suite is literally twice the square footage of my house and overlooks the most gorgeous view? My husband and his groomsmen kicked their feet up with some beers down in the groom shack while we were getting beautified. We then started with our first look on the gorgeous dock which lead to probably thousands of literally the most gorgeous photos one could ask for thanks to this property. The grounds are breathtaking with tons of hydrangeas and other beautiful flowers, the boathouse chapel in which we said our "I dos", a private beach, and tons of hidden places to take pictures even if it ends up raining on your special day. Our ceremony in the boathouse chapel remains my favorite part of the day. It was amazing to be covered from the sun yet still with the breeze coming through the chapel. Our guests still rave over our fabulous food. Some people said it was the most food they've ever had at a cocktail hour. The ballroom is just beyond fabulous. Our guests who got to stay overnight enjoyed their luxurious suites.I also can't say enough about Danielle. She was there from the very beginning and arranged my DIY stuff perfectly. She also dealt with an unfortunate situation we had with our hired shuttle. Madeline, the bridal attendant, and Marcie, the matre d, were great as well. The management made sure we were satisfied from when we booked to the days after. Fabulous customer service!! We highly recommend and would book at Mallard again in a heart beat.

As soon as we booked the Mallard Island Yacht Club for our wedding, we knew it was going to be an incredible process and amazing wedding day! Words can't describe how incredible my wedding day was at Mallard Yacht Club. We had the best day of our lives at Mallard Island! From day 1, Danielle was on top of everything and very attentive - she made the wedding planning easy! On the day, we actually got married during a heat wave and the staff was great about keeping it as cool as possible since the wedding was both indoor and outdoor. Everyone we spoke to said it was the best wedding they've been to and everyone commented on the beautiful scenery. We've only received a few of our pictures (attached), but the ones we have so far are AMAZING. Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Mallard Island Yacht Club on 5-27-18, and it was honestly the most amazing day of our lives. I had been to weddings at Bonnet Island and hat venue is also beautiful and dream worthy. But when we toured Mallard Island and got to know Danielle (she’s in charge of your whole day and will make it go off without a hitch) we knew Mallard Island was something special. Taste Catering was great, the staff was exceptional, the bridal suite is unreal, the ground level where the ceremony and cocktail take place is unlike any other venue we’ve ever been to. There’s a vibe at Mallard Island that you cant get anywhere else, it’s classy but nautical and relaxed all at the same time. It was so different than the typical beach venue that we had seen. We are still receiving compliments that our wedding was the best wedding anyone had ever been to, so thank you to Weddings of Distinction! They helped with the planning process, the execution, and any and all details we could possibly need help with, they really are above and beyond anything else you’ll find in NJ.

Danielle the event specialist was unbelievable, pleasant ,on top of everything. Here team was also awesome ,we had rain during the day and they busted their hump for us and had the place in order for the event. The food was awesome, all meals were hot , ordores were great. it was just a great place to have my daughters wedding , no regrets at all.

P.S. Adding to my review, MY HUSBAND AND I HAD THE WEDDING OF OUR DREAMS AND BEYOND!!! I wanted to mention to couples who are anticipating booking with Mallard Island, that to PLEASE DO NOT LET THE BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION be a deterrent! Although the construction on the LBI bridge I felt would be a little bit of an eye sore for my wedding. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! In the months leading up to my wedding I was nervous. But the day of my wedding there was no construction men to be found...Brides, listen, on your wedding day, your not even thinking construction!! I didn't even notice it NOR did my guests NOR did my bridal party when taking photos.....You are just so overwhelmed with the joy the day of, it's literally the last think on your mind!! The property is magnificent in itself, the vast views the many different areas for photography. I recommend taking a tour with your photographer to point out the many beautiful photos spot opportunities. My guests were not focussed on the construction or any building eye shore....My guests were focussed on US and our happiness, (not to sound corny) meeting with family they haven't seen in a while, enjoying each others company, and our beautiful flowers that filled our chapel, the breathtaking grounds, eating the scrumdilli-icious food!! Drinking and toasting and sharing the love with us, Isn't that what weddings are all about? The LOVE? I wish I can relive it all over again...Danielle and her staff ROCKS! She is truly genuine and AMAZING, and she believes that her brides and grooms should have the BEST day of their LIVES!!! She will go above and beyond to do that for you, as she did for us... My fiancé and I got married at the Mallard Island Yacht Club a couple weekends ago and we are still wishing we could go back and relive that day over and over again. Everything was absolutely perfect – and I mean perfect. Taste Catering did such an amazing job with everything. From the cocktail hour to the sit down dinner – everything came out amazing. Many of my guests commented on the quality and tastefulness of each dish they tried. They were so easy to work with and made it easy to customize their packages to exactly what you want. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with. Aside from the food, Danielle and her team were incredible! Danielle is so amazing at what she does. Throughout the entire planning process, she is so responsive and helpful she makes wedding planning a breeze. On my wedding day, herself and her team were beyond helpful and I honestly could say I’m not sure what I would have done without them. Not to mention, they make you feel so comfortable with them and make sure you have everything you need to have a good time. Hands down the best day I could have ever dreamed of all thanks to Taste Catering and the entire team at the Mallard.

We were married at Mallard Island Yacht Club this past weekend. It ended up being the most perfect weekend we have ever had in our lives. The weather couldn't have been better, the decor couldn't have come together more perfectly, but most importantly the staff at Mallard took our wedding experience to the next level. From day 1, Danielle, the venue coordinator, was fully focused on our wedding. She runs 3 weddings a weekend all year long, and somehow she was able to answer all of my questions within minutes, give me every detail I needed, and make me feel like I was her sole focus. During the weekend of our wedding, Danielle and her staff were on top of every little detail. She follow all of my instructions to the T, made suggestions on what would look better where, and never made me worry about a single detail. I found out the next day that one of our vendors was extremely late and making her nervous, but Danielle went to all lengths to get him there before anyone noticed and never made me worry about it! She literally took care of everything from the day we walked in from our tour through brunch the day after our wedding. My bridal assistant, Madeline, did an amazing job calming my nerves, making sure we ate and had water and champagne, and taking care of my dress all night. All of my guests commented on how nice and accommodating the waiters were and how absolutely amazing the food was, from cocktail hour through dinner and dessert. And at the end of the night they were so efficient in packaging all of my decor back up and placing it on baggage carts so we were able to load up quickly the next morning. Lou Ann, the overnight staff, took care of everything we needed and kept to herself when we didn't need anything. She was the sweetest. I could honestly go on and on about this venue, the staff, the building, the chapel on the bay, the bridal suite, every last detail was perfect. I couldn't have imagined anything close to how our wedding actually turned out.

The most beautiful venue on the entire Jersey Shore. If you are even thinking of having your wedding at Mallard, just do it. We were fortunate enough to stay for two nights so we could have the rehearsal dinner Friday at the venue and then wake up at Mallard Saturday for the wedding of my dreams. The guest suites were out of this world and oh my goodness the bridal suite, a destination in itself. Danielle is an angel and my wedding day could not have beeen possible without her. I procrastinated in writing my seating chart till THE DAY OF THE WEDDING, but Danielle was cool and calm and made sure it was properly displayed by the time the guest entered for the reception. We were also blessed with perfect mid-70's weather for my September wedding, which just took the entire venue experience from a 10 to a 20. If you want the perfect beach wedding, but in an elegant venue, Mallard is the place for you.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Weddings of Distinction. I was married at Mallard Island Yacht Club this past weekend and it was literally a dream come true. The entire day felt like a fairy tale. From the very first moment I set foot in Mallard for a tour with Danielle, I knew it was the perfect location for my wedding. I was able to get married right on the water for a beachy feel, but in an elegant, covered boat chapel so no need for a plan B in case of rain. The ballroom is breathtaking, with a wrap around porch that opens up right to a view of the water. My bridal party and family were able to stay right on site in gorgeous suites, and best of all THAT BRIDAL SUITE. I hope every bride is able to feel as fabulous as I did in getting ready in that private salon, hanging with my girls in the massive suite (which is an entire floor) and then collapsing into bed with my new husband that night. We woke up at 7 am and watched the sun rise over the water RIGHT from bed (through the floor to ceiling windows). It was a dream come true. From that very first meeting with Danielle, through a year and a half of planning, to the wedding day itself, Danielle was an absolute godsend. Although she is planning dozens of weddings at a time, she always made us feel like we were her number one couple and priority. She answered every single email, no matter how small the question or detail, within minutes, had a solution to every problem we ran into, and is such a pro at what she does. I felt 100 percent confident leaving the details of the day in her hands -- I worried about absolutely nothing the day of and everything went exactly as I had wanted it to. I could go on and on: If you are even considering the venue, get there for a tour now!!! The place will speak for itself. It is beyond beautiful, but the service you get as a couple really takes the whole experience above and beyond. Every couple deserves to have that experience on their wedding day!

I was lucky enough to have gotten married on August 5, 2017 at Mallard Island Yacht Club and the day was beyond an absolute fairytale. The chapel is stunning and when my husband and I stood at the altar, it felt like we were floating in the middle of the Bay. My guests loved how the glass doors surrounding the ballroom opened up later in the night so it felt like you were dancing outside. Getting ready in the bridal suite made me feel like a true princess! It is shockingly beautiful! My husband and I, as well as our families, were treated like absolute royalty the second we arrived to the wedding in the morning until we left the next day. I couldn't believe how incredible the service at Mallard was and that all the details of the wedding came together. When we arrived for the wedding, we did not to worry about a thing, every little detail was already taken care of. All we had to do that day was to enjoy every moment. Danielle is an absolute dream to work with. She was so responsive during our entire engagement via email, phone etc. and was always willing to help us and give us ideas when needed. She is a life saver and truly helped us plan the most perfect day of our dreams! Jennifer, our bridal attendant, made the day flawless. Between re-doing my hair, getting a stain out of my dress, tying my husband's bow tie, getting us constant food and drink, she was a wonder woman and could do it all! The food at Mallard is out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! I've never been to a wedding where the lobstertail melts in your mouth and the steak is cooked to perfection. The cocktail hour food was unreal and displayed beautifully. Honestly, our wedding at Mallard Island was a perfect fairytale and our guests are still saying it was the best wedding they ever attended. Thank you Mallard for making all our dreams come true!

We had our wedding at the end of July and everything was perfect! Danielle was very flexible and accommodating to all of our needs. Everything was set up perfectly before we arrived, we didn't have to worry about a single thing! Our bridal attendant, Jennifer, was an absolute dream. She made sure my dress was always fluffed, brought my husband and I food during cocktail hour, and made sure we always had a drink in our hands. Even though it was VERY windy that day (the one thing no one can control), the staff made sure everyone had an amazing time. We have so many of our friends and family commenting on how much fun they had at our wedding. We honestly couldn't have picked a better venue or staff for our special day.

Choosing Mallard Island as our wedding venue was hands down the best decisions we made. The venue is just so gorgeous and speaks for itself (i meant that bridal suite though) but Danielle was an absolute dream. I am not the most organized person and I am easily overwhelmed by details. Danielle was so fantastic to work with and made the entire process so seamless and literally had every detail of our wedding down to a T. She and the staff at Mallard were so attentive and really made myself, my husband, and my family feel so special on our big day. The food was AMAZING - people are still raving about it a month and a half later. If you are considering Mallard Island as a venue or Taste Catering - just book them. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Oh where to begin!! My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity of having our wedding at the Mallard Island Yacht Club. It was truly a fairytale! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and no expense was spared in decorating this place, my personal favorite the Bridal Suite which I dubbed the “Princess Room”. Danielle and her staff completely out did themselves, from the moment my then fiancé and I met Danielle we instantly clicked. Her knowledgeable, sweet and friendly personality made wedding planning a breeze. She was always so quick to answer my questions or concerns even on her day off, thanks Danielle! No detail was overlooked from the beautiful dining room, to the delicious food, everything was perfect!! Maître D’ Marcie and crew were outstanding and so personable as well, we even had them dancing. My bridal attendant Jen was there for every need I had that day and was so sweet and attentive. Our wedding day was probably the worst weather day for a wedding with a Nor’easter and LBI flooding but that didn’t damper the spirit at the reception, thanks to the entire staff that were soaked to the bone to ensure our guests were dry. Every single guest is still raving what a wonderful time they had at this beautiful venue, and this is 3 months later. Words cannot express how thankful we are that we stumbled upon the Mallard and the fantastic crew that works there, we'd give more stars if we could! We’d do it again in a heartbeat!!

Bonnet is where wedding dreams come true. I wish I could live there. My husband and I woke up the next day in our bridal suite overlooking the gorgeous grounds and reminiscing about the best day of our lives. From the bridal salon to the groom's room, from the chapel to boathouse, from the grand staircase to the bridal walk, everything, I mean everything is just an absolute dream and I am so sad it is all over. Andrea is AMAZING to work with. She was there for every question to every detail. This place makes no mistakes and our day was stress free totally euphoric. It was worth EVERY penny, EVERY headache. I would do it all over again and again. My husband and I know we will renew our vows there too one day (and we are penny pitchers). It's that incredible! It is worth it! Book your dates brides, just do it. You will not regret it!!

We had our wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club. Every corner of the estate is so beautiful. We did zero decorating because the estate is already gorgeous and the grounds are covered in beautiful flowers. This venue gave us the perfect experience of having a wedding on the water without the messy sand. The staff are so professional and friendly. Planning with them was a breeze, and the day of was perfect. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day!

Anyone who tours the Mallard Island Yacht Club will see how beautiful and unique this venue is. Just take a tour of the private estate and see for yourself-- but be warned you will fall in love with it.

What you may not see at first glance is the excellent staff and catering team. First, is the on-site venue coordinator, Danielle Gallone. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Danielle is to work with. Danielle is exceptional at her job. Not only is Danielle a perfectionist who stays on top of every detail of your wedding but she is so sweet and does an excellent job of making you feel like you are her only client. We cannot thank Danielle enough for all of her hard work and making sure our wedding went off without a hitch.

Second is the staff. Our bridal attendant, Jennifer was so friendly and helpful getting us drinks, running around behind the scenes, taking pictures, and catering to our every need.

Finally, all of our guests raved about the incredible food provided by Taste Catering LBI. We could not have imagined a more perfect day and we will never forget our June wedding at the Mallard Island Yacht Club. We would recommend this venue 1000 times over.

Absolutely incredible - The venue, the service and the food! We got married at Bonnet Island Estate and our wedding was absolutely perfect and gorgeous! Andrea was fantastic to work with - Caring, professional, organized, responsive and made our entire wedding planning process completely stress free. My husband and I felt like royalty on our wedding day as the bridal attendant would get us drinks, food, hold my flowers and veil, etc. The food was amazing and our guests had such a great time. Everyone keeps telling us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to! We could not have asked for a better experience or day. We got married in June 2016 at Mallard Island Yacht Club & it was PERFECT. The venue was definitely at the top of our budget, but it was worth every penny! The venue itself is gorgeous but what really sets it overt the top is their service. Danielle was helpful and professional at every step of planning. On our wedding day, my husband and I did not have to worry about any details - the staff followed up with all of the vendors, fielded our parents' questions, and made sure all we had to do was have fun! I would absolutely recommend WoD.

From the moment we met with Danielle we knew Mallard Island was the place for our wedding. She couldn't be more informative and sweet. She has such experience in planning events and could do it in her sleep! We highly recommend this venue for its convenience of having everything in one place. Ceremony, reception, and after party!! The rooms upstairs are such a bonus to have your wedding party and family be able to stay for the night. The staff is absolutely wonderful, professional and curtious. The bridal attendants helped the day run so smoothly and because of that our nerves were at ease for the day. Danielle runs a tight ship and you can certainly tell the day of. There was no issues that either one of us saw and from what we heard from our family they had no issues either. They were all highly impressed with the service and professionalism from all the staff. We recently were married at Mallard Island Yacht Club and from the day we toured the venue to the days following the wedding, we were completely taken care of throughout the journey. My Husband and I were married at Mallard Island this past August 2016. What a wonderful and perfect experience we had- from the moment we stepped foot at Mallard for a tour, to our amazing wedding day. Our tour started with meeting the wonderful wedding event specialist, Danielle. She is very professional and knowledgeable of every detail that goes into planning a wedding at Mallard, making the stressful wedding planning process so much more bearable and easy! Danielle always kept us up to date and informed with what we needed to know. With every call or email, she always had an answer and made us feel comfortable with the questions we had, no matter how small. Alongside Danielle on our wedding day, was our wonderful bridal attendant, Kelsey. From taking photos with my phone so we could see some memories of our wedding the day after, to bringing us food from cocktail hour and desserts during the reception when we were busy with the photographers, to physically sewing on some tulle pieces of my dress that ripped, she knew what to do every step of the way! The entire Taste Catering staff was very friendly and provided great service to our guests. All this great service took place at a well kept beautiful establishment. The neat and clean grounds, the gorgeous building, the amazing rooms (cocktail hour, reception, groom shack, boathouse chapel), and the bridal suite will leave you in a jaw-dropping loss for words. The food that was served is also something to talk about. A pre-ceremony lemonade stand was a nice touch to greet our guests, the cocktail hour selection and presentation was great with an unforgettable sushi and slider station, the great selection of reception entrees, and any guest with a sweet tooth was blown away with the viennese table. Mallard Island Yacht Club and their team made all our wildest wedding dreams come true. From the second we pulled up to Mallard we knew we HAD to be married there. It is undeniably breathtaking. The grounds are so well kept you imagine that someone cuts each blade of grass by hand...But the best part of the venue is that the food, service and staff match the exquisite ambiance of the venue. I don't know if we walked away happier with the gorgeous venue or the immaculate service. From the second we met Danielle she became one of the most important and helpful parts of our entire wedding planning process. She answered hundreds of questions (sorry Danielle) and ALWAYS replied in a precise and timely manner. I remember reading a review on her before we booked the venue that raved about her ability to eliminate any worry or concern, and it could not be more true. She is such a professional - organized, responsive, reliable. But more than that, she's a PLEASURE. Instead of being stressed about the 9000 logistics that went into planning the wedding, we felt comforted knowing Danielle was running the show and enjoyed all the time we spent getting to know her. And as expected, the wedding day was pure perfection and magic. NOTHING went wrong and we owe it all to Danielle and her incredible staff. Our bridal attendant Jennifer quickly became one of my favorite parts of the day. She was kind, patient and efficient. I can't stress enough how unbelievably perfect our wedding day was...I felt like I was living a fairy tale. Danielle is an absolute pleasure to work with and was always very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. I wish I had more stars to give for the catering, venue, and overall service!

I got married at the Mallard last month and it was an absolute fairytale! From the A++ Taste catering staff, to the delicious food, and beyond beautiful venue, it felt as if we were swept away to a fantasy land. I cannot get over how accommodating the Mallard and Taste catering staff is- the service is immaculate. My guests are STILL raving about the venue, the food, the service, the views. It was just perfect!!!

I worked very closely with Danielle to coordinate my big day and she always made me feel extremely special. Her attention to detail and ability to ease a bride's nerves was totally unexpected but made my experience that much better. The Mallard goes above and beyond to make every wedding perfect and unique. I cannot recommend this venue enough!! If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, breathtaking views, and remarkable service and food - then the Mallard is for you!!

I wish there were more stars to give this venue. The location is PERFECT and you cannot ask for better views. Our pictures are AMAZING. From the moment we toured the location and through the planning process, Danielle was inviting, accommodating and always available to answer any questions I had with kindness and understanding (and if you're a bride, you know just how many questions you have!!!). The day of our wedding was like a fairy tale. Danielle and the whole team worked the entire day to make sure everything ran smoothly and that the we were all taken care of. My bridal attendant, Kelsey, was a godsend. She thought of EVERYTHING, getting me water before I even knew I was thirsty and even had to repair my dress a few times. She didn't only take care of me, but my entire immediate family! Our Maitre D', Marcie , was fabulous and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The waitstaff and bartenders were pros! Everyone told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. After our wedding, my husband and I watched the sunrise on the private beach and it was nothing short of magical. I wish I could do it all over again! We love the Mallard Island Yacht Club!

Mallard was the perfect choice. Danielle was absolutely the best when it came to details, emailing quickly, and getting us down the aisle- and getting everything done that we asked. Our guests raved about the venue and food for days- then, after Danielle got us down the aisle, Jenny took over- I have to say, Jenny was absolutely fantastic!!!! We cannot say enough great things about her. She stayed with us for hours, holding dresses, holding the train of mine, running up for hairspray, running for drinks and keeping them refreshed and cold, keeping us hydrated, making us smile and just being a wonderful person! She made us smile from the time we met her! She absolutely made our day perfect and we were so sad when she left around 11 pm... We had pictures during cocktail hour, so she made us plates from cocktail hour and brought it up to us- she also left us a plate of desserts upstairs on the bridal suite bed for after the reception. Our experience at Mallard would have been great without her- but because of her, our day was absolutely PERFECT and I think it's all because of her! We thank her so much for everything she did for us! Mallard was a beautiful choice and it is a day we will never forget! Danielle and Jenny were wonderful, the servers were absolutely great (friendly, polite and so personable!) the grounds were gorgeous, and we would do it all over again if we could!

Words can't even begin to describe how perfect our wedding was this past May at Mallard Island Yacht Club. I have been going to LBI since I was a baby and always knew it would be my dream to get married down the shore. Once I stepped foot in the venue, both my husband and my family knew we had to get married in this gorgeous space. Our friends are still raving about all aspects of the day, from the scenery, to the delicious food done by Taste Catering, to the friendly and accommodating staff. Danielle is truly amazing. She answered any and every question and request with ease and positivity. Marcie helped the day run without a hitch, especially when everyone was panicking because our Pastor was late! Chuck, the man who stayed overnight at the venue, was so friendly and helpful as well, especially with the craziness of the after party. As the Bride, I need to give a very special shout out to Kelsey, our Bridal Attendant. My friends and I all called her the "angel" of the day because she anticipated every need and put a smile on all of our faces. We are so glad we went with Weddings of Distinction, Mallard Island, Taste Catering and most importantly, Danielle Gallone and her outstanding staff for our wedding day. The Mallard Island Yacht Club was truly a dream come true. My husband and I grew up spending our summers in Long Beach Island and I knew that I wanted to get married there as soon as I saw “the place with the red roof” at 14 years old. Even with that background, the food, service, atmosphere, and entire experience were amazing and exceeded expectations. Danielle was fantastic throughout the entire experience. She promptly answered all questions throughout the planning process and was extremely accommodating. Our bridal attendant Jenn was an all-star, she waited on us hand and foot to make sure we had everything we needed. The entire day and night went as planned. Our guests keep raving about how incredible our wedding was the Mallard. After 10 years together our wedding was everything we could ever dream of. We would do it all over again if we could!

Where do I start?? From the beginning Danielle was so amazingly helpful in working with Marc and I to plan and organize our special day. She even gave us some unique and fun ideas! Everything was so incredibly well organized. The day of went more smoothly and perfectly than I even imagined. Jennifer, my bridal attendant, was so sweet and there for me the entire night. I need lactaid supplements and she had a timer and gave me them every 45 minutes on the dot. She fed me water throughout the out the night and even was helpful with my mom and other family members in whatever they needed. One crazy story I heard after the fact... we had every single dessert one could imagine and everyone was in awe. But my grandfather (he's 91) wanted ice cream. Someone on the team, I don't know who, WENT OUT AND GOT HIM SOME! What?! How truly amazing they were from start to finish, really making my day absolutely perfect. Definitely book this venue - not only was it beautiful, but could fit out 200 guests with ease. Everything from the catering company they use to the day of staff was amazing. Without a doubt, the best part of this venue is Danielle, the wedding coordinator. She was a lifesaver - incredibly organized, responsive, and helpful with every single part of the wedding day. She made my life so much easier during this entire process and I could not have asked for a better person to work with!

We recently just got married at the Mallard Yacht Club and the venue was amazing. Everything flowed perfectly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. And it is an absolutely beautiful venue with our pictures turning out just how we imagined. We had a little rain for our ceremony but they were easily able to close off the sides and had no problems! Very professional staff that is attentive to you and your guests needs!

My husband and I recently got married at the Mallard Island Yacht Club this past April. Not only was it one of the most unique and beautiful venues we have ever seen, the service provided by Danielle and staff from the beginning stages of planning until the actual day was INCREDIBLE. Danielle especially was BEYOND helpful, professional and kind throughout the whole process. She is on top of her game and she really cares about your day running flawlessly. Kelsey who was my bridal attendant was also very helpful and very sweet. She even held my cell phone and took pictures of the wedding throughout the whole day! As far as the food, every single one of our guests raved about how great the food was from the raw bar at the cocktail hour to the ice cream cones served for dessert by Taste Catering. I don't think there are many venues like this one that also has all of the major components to throwing a great wedding. It has unbeatable ambiance and beauty, impeccable service from start to finish and superb food. I think I had more fun at my wedding than any of my guests and that's because I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. Everything was taken care of and I could just enjoy. The Mallard is a dream wedding venue and we feel fortunate to be able to have our wedding there and would do it again in a heart beat and change NOTHING!!

Mallard Island Yacht Club (MIYC) was the most amazing venue we could have ever dreamt for our wedding day. Everything from our first meeting with Danielle who is FABULOUS to the end of our wedding night was run so smoothly and so professional. Our bridal captain, Kelsey, kept just the right amount of distance from myself and my husband where we felt very taken care of without feeling like she was hovering. No detail was too small. No request was too over the top. I cannot say enough great thing about their professionalism, their enthusiasm, their genuine interest in making our day the best day ever!! The food (I heard) was so great. All the guests had nothing but excellent feedback. And finally - the bridal suite. You need to see to believe. Thank you, Mallard, for making my husband and I feel like royalty.

We had our wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club. The venue is truly one of a kind: the environment next to the bay, the outdoor gardens and the peninsula with the chapel and fireplace are beautiful. And there's also a grass area for lawn games with a fire pit, and a small beach. Mallard is AMAZING. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but when you have your wedding there you get to work with Danielle, who is THE BEST. She hosted us and both of our parents for numerous tours, and you could tell that she treats Mallard like her home. Danielle was responsive to all of our inquiries, helped guide us in planning, and made suggestions that made our day extra special. She really made our unique and we are forever grateful for her.

The guest rooms (and bathrooms) were gorgeous and super convenient. The staff at our wedding was kind, polite and attentive to all of our needs. We even had an emergency with a spill on the bride's dress and the bridal attendant, Jen, got every last spot out. Jen also walked around with our cell phones taking candid shots of everyone so we would have moments captured instantly! She truly thought of things to make our special day even better, and we can't imagine our perfect night without her. This venue has everything covered. We held an afterparty for those who prefer to continue the night into the evening, and the staff set up all of the supplies that we brought, and everything was excellent. Chuck, the staff member who stayed the night, was also extremely helpful. We have nothing but great things to say. Every last detail was perfect, and we cannot imagine a more perfect wedding.

The Mallard Island Yacht Club is one of the most spectacular venues I've ever seen. The chapel at the end of the dock was the perfect place for our daughter to be married. The cocktail area and outside bay views were beautiful. The reception area was elegant and the dance floor was the perfect size and acoustics for our party crowd. Take a tour of the place just to see the INCREDIBLE BRIDAL SUITE. Danielle and her staff from Taste Catering clearly love what they do and it shows in every detail. The time spent planning prior to the big day was such a pleasure. I have heard other father's of the bride complain about so many missed details at other venues. Well, I can say our day went flawlessly. We had many compliments on the food and the service from our guests. The hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were delicious and plentiful. The main meal was served quickly by a smiling waitstaff. As a small business owner I demand excellence from my employees and appreciate when other businesses do the same. Taste Catering has a wonderful group of people working for them. My daughter's wedding attendant, Kelsie, did everything needed without being asked and even anticipated our needs in advance. The next day I returned to the venue to pick up some items that were left behind and those things were waiting for me at a prearranged location. One of the cleaning staff even helped me load the car (in the rain). If I had a second daughter I would definitely use Mallard Island & Taste Catering again, because I am pretty sure no one else would meet their high standards.

We worked with Danielle and Taste Catering for our wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club this past fall. Danielle was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She was so prepared on the day of the wedding, which allowed us to relax and be confident in her team. Mallard Island is a dream wedding venue. The views and grounds are stunning and well maintained, and you can't beat that bridal suite! The guys also had a great time hanging out in the groom's shack. I could not imagine a more perfect wedding venue, especially as someone with ties to Long Beach Island, and would highly recommend Mallard to other couples!

We were married at Mallard Island Yacht Club back in October - the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and Danielle was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. She is so organized, professional, and on top of every detail for the wedding day, and was always available to answer any question we had. We ended up with a day that every bride fears - a hurricane approaching - but Danielle and her staff handled it flawlessly. The chapel had flooded earlier in the day, and they were able to clear it out quickly with only a slight delay in our ceremony. We received so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the staff was, and we couldn't agree more. I was lucky enough to have two different bridal escorts throughout the day as well (which I didn't know I would have!) and I don't know how I would have gotten through without them. We've seen this venue in the snow/a hurricane/sun, and it is gorgeous no matter what. ..and have you seen that bridal suite?! You can't go wrong booking this venue!! Thank you, Danielle!! :)

My husband and I had our wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club on November 7th. From the first planning meeting to the day after the wedding, we were extremely pleased with all Taste and Danielle Gallone had done to accommodate us!

We have been hearing from our wedding guests who have said that the food was incredible as well as our venue. Some have even said that it was the best wedding they have ever attended :).

Danielle is extremely helpful and organized. I can't say enough about her and will miss chatting with her now that our wedding is over! I hope other couples are able to feel the level of satisfaction and happiness that Denis and I were able to working with Taste and Danielle.

Our daughter was married at the Mallard Yacht last weekend, October 9, 2015! It was magical, start to finish! The firs person we met was Danielle Gallone, who runs the Mallard! She is warm, yet very professional! All through the process of planning the wedding, Danielle always had time to answer any question, no matter how crazy! You never had to wait for questions to be answered, and she was so flexible in trying her hardest to make all your dreams come true! On the day of the wedding, we were shown to the Bridal Suite, which is out of this world! Our bridal attendant was Kelsey (who knew we had one!), who was amazing in every way! She ran around and answered any need, and was so sweet and at the same time, efficient! The wedding in the chapel was so beautiful, it looked straight out of a fairytale! The reception ran perfectly, and the food was enjoyed, and commented on "no end" by our guests! My husband (still weird to use this word!) and I got married three weeks ago (9/25) at Mallard Island Yacht Club. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue or the staff there, as it was truly just a dream come true. From the minute we walked in the doors during our first visit to see the venue, we were blown away. Not only is Mallard Island just the most gorgeous place to get married (have you seen the bridal suite OMG!), but it also has the most incredible staff who could not go out of their way more to make your day incredible. Danielle (who is the bridal specialist there) is the main contact for the wedding. She toured us the venue and before we even left the parking lot, she had emailed my husband and I with items we had discussed during our meeting including available dates/pricing/etc. This was an experience we had not had with any other venue we visited. Danielle makes you feel like the most important couple in the world. For the crazed bridezilla I was, she answered any possible question or concern I had almost immediately from the minute we visited the venue to the wedding day. She made our lives easier through every step of the process and never ceased to amaze me as she seemingly had the answer to any question I had. Mallard Island's staff was incredible. The bridal attendant with me for the day, Kelsey, was as attentive, sweet, and helpful as could be (and even took candid pictures on my phone throughout the whole day!). I just really cant thank everyone there enough. It is just an incredible venue!!

My now husband and I got engaged down in LBI, NJ in August 2014. The next day we decided to tour Mallard Island. We instantly fell in love with the grounds, the venue, the ballroom, etc. and decided it was the perfect place to get married. Danielle was an absolute pleasure to work with during the entire process. She's extremely organized, professional and truly treats you like the queen! She also is so flexible and really has your best interest in mind. All of our guests STILL after almost 2 months have been talking about the venue, the food and overall experience they had at Mallard. We highly recommend this venue for any couples interested!!! Also, the food was outstanding! The majority of the wedding are NYC residents (tough pallets) and they were all raving about it! We wish we could go back to that day!!!

I recently got married at Bonnet Island Estate and I can't give enough raving reviews about this venue. The estate, the grounds, the chapel and ballroom have so much character and charm that are beyond compare. The staff was absolutely AMAZING! We had the pleasure of working with Andrea and Ellie and they were awesome and so accomodating. Not a single detail was missed or overlooked and they really did make our wedding day stress free. Our wedding guests are still talking about how lovely everything was from the food to the ambiance and beauty of this venue. We wish we could go back and relive this magical day. It was one we will never forget.

Weddings of Distinction is a top notch business. There wasn't a single request that wasn't met. The staff was extremely professional while being personable at the same time. The Mallard is gorgeous and everything went smoothly. A number of my friends work in event planning in Northern Virginia and had nothing but compliments for the staff. It was so great to have a single point of contact that facilitated and coordinated everything. Danielle is awesome.

We had our wedding at Mallard on August 14th and it was beyond perfect. Danielle and her team were so responsive throughout our entire planning process. They really helped us create a day that was unique to us. I was so relaxed the day of the wedding because I knew Danielle had taken care of everything. Our wedding was Friday 8/7 at Mallard island Yacht Club. It was the most amazing event we could have imagined. Everything exceeded our expectations. For starters, Danielle and the entire Mallard staff was professional and beyond helpful. Danielle made the day run smoothly and left no detail unturned. Her knowledge of local vendors and recommendations were greatly appreciated and turned out to be excellent as we acted on many of them. Most importantly, Danielle was always available to provide assistance whenever needed. The staff seemed to be an extension of Danielle’s affability and responsiveness as they were helpful in every sense of the word. The food was prompt and the bar was always efficient. Every piece of food we tasted was amazing. The cocktail hour, salad, entrée, and desserts were all delicious. The feedback received by us and others about the food was of equally high praise. Equally importantly, the staff was super nice. The venue was more beautiful than we could have imagined. Seemingly every different faction of the people attending our wedding had an absolute blast. Don't think twice just go ahead & book your wedding at the Mallard Island Yacht Club. From the first day we saw this venue my daughter, son-in-law and myself knew that this was the right spot. Danielle and the entire staff were just amazing and helped make it just a perfect day. Seeing the smiles on my daughter's & new son's faces after the wedding was well worth it!

This is the best place on earth! Our wedding was more than we could ever hope for! First of all not only is it absolutely beautiful but the people who are working make it a dream come true. Michelle and Marcie were out of this world and I couldn't have asked for more. Before I could even think to want something they were right there for my husband and I! So cool to have awesome people surrounding you who know there stuff and do it with ease. I genuinely can say that they added a huge amount to the wedding. Danielle- where do I start! Anything and everything you need she is right there and does it with ease. If you want the best- then mallard it is!

We got married at Bonnet Island this past May and we could not have hoped for a more amazing day. The chapel was such an intimate and beautiful place for our ceremony. The grounds are gorgeous and give way to some great pictures!! The ballroom fit our 200 guests well, and the beauty of Bonnet Island is that you have the entire estate to use - so there is always a great spot for guests to step out for a moment of fresh air or a quiet moment. The entire staff at Bonnet is professional, friendly, and beyond helpful. We were completely taken care of all day and in all the months of planning leading up to the wedding. Any couple should consider themselves lucky if they end up choosing Bonnet for their wedding, because they will have an experience that is even better than they can imagine.

The food was outstanding and we could not have eaten better! We have received endless compliments and comments that this was the best food anyone has ever had at a wedding, and we couldn't agree more. Thank you so much for making our day/night so special and we would absolutely do it all over again if we could - so now we are just trying to convince others to get married there so we can go back!!

My husband and I got married at the Bonnet Island Estate over Menorial Day Weekend of this year. From begining to end, the day was perfection. The grounds speak for themselves, we were so impressed that we did not even look at any other venues. Prior to our wedding day, I worked closely with Andrea and she was so wonderful - answering any and all questions I had and checking-in to make sure we were on-track with planning. On the actual wedding day, Andrea and Ellie were both so helpful in making sure that everything went off without a hitch. I was prepared for problems to arise, as I had heard that always happens on your wedding day, but nothing at all went wrong - everything was exactly as planned! The food was delicious as well. All of our guests were very impressed with the level of service and the entire experience at Bonnet Island. One tip: I definitely recommend staying overnight in the guest rooms if you can swing it. The rooms are amazing and made our after party extremely convenient for the bridal party. Honestly, I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was with the staff and venue!

Your wedding day is one that you hope will be that picture-perfect dream... the ideal that you've held in your heart for years. Our recent celebration at Bonnet Island Estate far exceeded that expectation. The day dawned gorgeous with the sun bright and dazzling above the incredible Estate. The staff spoilt us at every turn, the food was mouth-watering. The light breeze off the water gently waved through my daughters veil as her dad and I walked her down the dazzling canopy of bright flowers. Each of the wedding party guests who were lucky enough to stay over night felt like royalty. Our Bonnet event planner didn't miss a step as they helped us navigate ordering food for the after-party, breakfast for our 70 guests the next day, and where to place our various over the top hand-made features. I wish I had room to include the hundred or so commentaries from our guests. I can only think to add that each of them had the identical point of view...THIS is the most stunningly perfect wedding I have ever attended! I would not hesitate to recommend that you make sure to personalize your event at the venue. The staff is helpful and will assist you in finding a perfect spot for your own items. I would also recommend the surf and turf, it was fabulous! And the slider bar at your cocktail hour was enjoyed by all. My husband and I had a perfect wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club from the start of the planning process to day after my wedding. Danielle was so responsive and easy to work with from start to finish. She is very thorough and made sure EVERYTHING was taken care of and perfect! On the day of our wedding, Danielle and her staff were so attentive and helpful. The actual day went so smoothly. Danielle even took numerous pictures of every single aspect throughout the day, which we greatly appreciated! It is obvious that she loves her job.

We were a little concerned about being able to hear cars going by during our ceremony, but we DID NOT hear a thing! All of our guests were raving about the place, from the food to the staff to the breathtaking grounds. Given the chance to do it all over again, I would absolutely choose Mallard a second time, and would request to work with the exact same staff. I actually cried when leaving the morning after our wedding, because I had such an amazing experience that I did not want it to end!

Our daughter's wedding was held on April 10, 2015...The expert care and compassion received leading up to the wedding date was remarkable...Mary R., from Merri Makers Catering, was phenominal! She never missed a beat, and had answers, and sometimes words of encouragement, every phone call we made...Her timeline for the evening was remarkable, giving us all more time to enjoy our event...She made us feel like her family...The venue is priceless, from the quaint chapel setting, to the beautiful ballroom, every window sharing a magnificent bay view...the rooms were very spacious and meticulously kept, all with water views as well...Brides getting ready on the premises, have the absolute convenience of a "salon" set up, newly added this year...The food was excellent, from the cocktail hour to the dinner, to the hot coffee and fresh baked cookies for the guests as they left, courtesy of Bonnet! Our head matre'D, Ellie, was on hand for the day, also giving us exceptional service, and also a great personality...Jessica went above and beyond to help out our daughter with getting ready, and taking great care of us during the reception...There is not an unfriendly face on staff, all so willing and helpful, making your special day "worry free"...Add in the beautiful lighting from Fennelli, and the terrific service from Bob at Neptune Liquors, we couldn't ask for more...Only thing we missed was going back to do it all over again! Thank you Bonnet Island!

Theresa and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing. They were so great to work with and truly cared about our day. The venue itself is beautiful (love the downstairs and upstairs different feel). We couldn't have picked a better place and people to share our wedding with!

Everyone at MerriMakers, especially Mary, went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly everything we wanted it to be. The venue is breathtaking, absolutely beautiful.
