Excellent Selection and Service
So happy we went with Boccardo for our engagement ring and wedding bands. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, and make the process of picking out rings fun! They were excellent. I went in with a budget for an engagement ring, they showed me what they could do and gave me exactly what I wanted. They even encouraged me to shop around a bit first, that they would hold the diamond for me. I didn't find a better deal. Further, when I got it appraised, it was valued at 20% more than what I paid for it.They were excellent. Then the night of the wedding I noticed a diamond missing. By the time we were able to get to the store (post-honeymoon) there was another diamond missing from the band and one from my engagement ring. Now, I thought maybe I was rougher with them than normal and didn't think too much of it. They replaced the diamonds with out charging us, and all was well for a while.
In March, seven months after the wedding, another two diamonds fell out, around the same place as before. I dropped off the ring on the 30th, was told I'd have it by the end of the day and never heard back from them. My husband then played phone tag for several weeks to see where the ring was and when would we get it back. Finally, on May 22nd I receive a call saying that it was returned from the repair service and it looked terrible. It looked as if it had been dented and they said the diamonds would probably keep falling out.They offered to replace the ring, but of course it will never be the same as the one with which we were married. It is a family run business and seems to run like a circus. We thought it would be nice to shop local, but I do not suggest ever going there. When we went to talk about the replacement there was two people waiting on us, one man rather condescending and the other a younger woman. The man made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with us just by his speech, but his actions additionally showed us that when the moment another couple walked in he ignored us and went to them. It would be understandable if he said, excuse me or that the saleswoman would take it from there, but he just stopped talking to us and walked away. The woman meant well, but had no clue as to what she was saying. She contradicted herself several times. They said they'd get us a new ring and would call us, but we just laughed because it takes them over two months to return a phone call. --- I bought my necklace and earrings at Duffy Jeweler's and they were wonderful there! 5/5Then the night of the wedding I noticed a diamond missing.
