Awesome DJ
We had a small wedding at the Grand Plaza Hotel on St. Pete Beach. Bobby was affordable and professional. He is very good at getting the crowd involved. Highly recommended. -

If your looking for a DJ who can get the party started...you have found him! He and his wife got up and were dancing and encouraging other guests to dance. Its been two weeks after my wedding and we are still talking about how much fun he was to have! -

Bobby and his wife are so nice and very helpful! His wife made us our cupcake cake and it was delicious and beautiful! Bobby was an amazing dj and we would recommend him to anyone who may need a dj for any event! His wife even videoed important events at our wedding without us even asking! Thank you so much to them both For making our wedding day even that more special! -

When i met Bobby he had schedule chart of time and what music is set to play very professional. I gave him some of my music to play. When it came to the big day everything was beautiful the music choices and the lighting. Everything went smooth as he we planned. My guests had a blast dancing all night. I highly recommend Bobby Smith affordable, and get more for what you pay for, great communication fast reply when we were planning for the wedding. We like to thank Bobby Smith and his family for making my wedding joyful, beautiful, and fun. Thank you again. -

Bobby is fantastic! We hired him to preform at our welcome party. It was a poolside BBQ with about 100 guests. Bobby rocked. Everyone had so much listening to him and dancing as the night went on. I think we could have partied all night! -

Bobby did an awesome job on our wedding, we appreciated his ability to make last minute changes, and he kept the crowd moving. We all had a great time, I have not seen my friends dance like this in a long time. Thank you Bobby!

I am not really one to write a bad review, but I put lots of time into choosing Bobby Smith as my DJ, & read a TON of reviews, but what I got was much less than expected, so I'm writing this review to allow others to be informed.
Bobby Smith is very nice, responsive & flexible. However, he does not follow direction. In preparing for my day I gave Mr. Smith a detailed timeline for our wedding, including specific songs (with links) to play at specific times. First, Bobby played the wrong song for my walk down the aisle. I provided a specific song for the bridesmaid entrance, then one for my entrance. Bobby played generic music for the bridesmaid entrance & instead of the song I provided for my entrance, that is when he played the song I gave for the bridesmaid entrance. Next, he played the wrong version of the song for our first dance. We provided a link for the acoustic version of a specific song, but Bobby played the rock version. May not seem like a big deal, but the song was a surprise from my husband to me & the feel was totally different than he intended.
Other than these major issues (in my eyes at least), Mr. Smith pronounced many names wrong, & repeatedly failed to listen to my day-of coordinator. For example, she specifically relayed my request to keep the wedding party on the dance floor for our first dance, yet 5 minutes later he made them all sit down. He also continually kept coming up to my husband to ask questions when the coordinator specifically directed that he speak with her instead. Also, Bobby played zero slow songs all night, except for our first dance, & the last song of the night, this excluded a large part of our guests. He also argued with me when I brought these issues to his attention, after the wedding when he emailed asking for a review.
While Bobby was a good price, I do not feel he was prepared for our wedding & I wish we had paid more for better quality on our big day. -
