My wife and I used Bob as our DJ and wedding officiant. From the first meeting with him, we knew he was very experienced, passionate and that we were in the right hands! Once we started to plan the ceremony and reception, he asked all the right questions, most of which we wouldn't have even thought of. During the planning process he stayed organized and kept up with all of our changes. His website is very well made and easy to navigate. When it comes to music, he has it all and if he doesn't, he will get it for you, even if it's an obscure instrumental cover of the Lord of The Rings soundtrack! If you have no idea what kind of music to play, give him a list of artists you like and watch him expertly build the perfect playlist. On the day of, he provided a beautiful ceremony and kept the party going while making everyone feel involved. Bob really made the perfect event, and we can't thank him enough for it. -

Love DJ Bob!
We hired Bob to be our DJ and he turned out to be so much more! He acted as our coordinator and truly wanted to make our day perfect. He made planning every detail as easy as possible, meeting with us on Zoom and in person. He visited our venue ahead of time to make sure he had everything planned perfectly. He emailed all of our vendors and helped us make a practical timeline. Bob attended our rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what to do. On the day of he arrived early to set up in all 3 locations. We had our ceremony in an outdoor remote location and the sound was perfect. Our reception had 2 different levels and Bob made sure you could hear the music everywhere. The “Love Story” he did for us was so personal and we were so glad we did it. We had so much fun dancing the night away, and we even joined Bob behind the DJ booth! He played every song we asked for and everyone loved the music. We could not have asked for a better experience, if you’re looking for an amazing DJ hire Bob!!Bob Powell Entertainment's reply:

Bob through the whole wedding process was attentive, creative and punctual, but most of all fun. He listened to every request we had and made sure everything was done perfect. Very pleasant to work with. Me and my husband have a very opposite taste in music and I was apprehensive about it being blended together but Bob did wonderful. He went above and beyond expectations. The photo booth was a big highlight of our night as well. Thanks again for everything Bob. -

Bob is a professional and fantastic DJ!
My husband and I hired Bob for our June 2022 wedding and we are so grateful that we did. My husband and I were very specific about the type of music we wanted at our wedding. During our initial consultation with Bob, it became clear to us that he was extremely knowledgable about music. Bob was able to create a curated playlist for our wedding that seamlessly mixed all of our favorite genres (new wave, 90s pop, rap, psychedelia, rock, and much more). His transitions were smooth, and he was able to read the room and adjust accordingly. I received so many compliments from guests regarding the quality of music.
Bob also played a crucial part during the wedding planning process. Bob met with us 3-4 times before the wedding to help us iron out event-specific details, such as ceremony entrances/exits and creating the day of timeline. Bob was helpful every step of the way and he was easy to communicate with. The day of the wedding, Bob followed the day of timeline and kept the event running smoothly. Towards the end of the night, I even received a complement from our caterer regarding Bob's abilities as a DJ.
In all, I'd highly recommend Bob as a DJ - He knows his stuff!

My partner and I had to change our wedding date pretty last minute (a couple of months prior to our date) and our previous DJ was not available. We found Bob, and he ended up being the BEST thing for us. We did an entirely DIY wedding and he was extremely helpful in making the planning process simple, organized, and inclusive of our wants & needs. We were not from the area, so we were able to have our pre-wedding planning sessions via Zoom and they were SO helpful in putting our anxieties at ease- knowing we had him to help facilitate all of the elements of our wedding. He went above and beyond anything we ever imagined. Bob was extremely thoughtful, professional, organized and fun! He made our wedding run perfectly smooth- we couldn’t have done it without his guidance. He made it possible for us to actually enjoy our wedding!! Highly recommended. -

Bob was the absolute best DJ! Our wedding reception was a complete hit and people STILL can’t stop talking about how much fun they had! I don’t think there was one person not on the dance floor. He handled everything and coordinated our timeline and made it such an easy process. We were able to enjoy ourselves without having to worry because if we didn’t know what was next or who needed to be where, Bob sure did! He is so much more than a DJ! -

Perfect day , perfect night !!
We had an absolute blast with Bob!! Super helpful and willing to get advice on anything and everything. Really took into consideration our interests and made the night ours! A night to remember - lots of laughter and lots of dancing!! -

Heather Sent on 02/10/2018Bob is a true professional, and you will not be disappointed with his service. He is a fantastic DJ - he knows how to read the crowd perfectly, and there wasn't a single moment when the dance floor wasn't packed at our wedding (and we had a wide age range of guests). Bob's equipment was all very high quality and sounded amazing. He is the kind of the DJ where you can sit back and relax, and let him do his job. He needs no managing, and is very thorough in his pre-wedding meetings so that on the day of, there's nothing to worry about it.
Something particularly special about Bob is that he goes beyond DJ and Emcee, he really does care that the bride and groom have a perfect day. He was easily flexible if we had last minute changes, and he took care of so many details on his own. I felt confident that I could leave it to Bob, and everything would turn out great - which it did!
We also used Bob's lighting equipment, which was amazing. He had very high end gear and knew exactly how to arrange the lamps for perfect ambience and beautiful pictures.
Go with Bob - you'll get more than you bargained for and a stress-free, amazing and memorable experience! -
