Phenomenal Hair and Make-up for Reasonable Price

Cara and her team (Kristen, Tori, Tania) were amazing to work with. Cara's team did make-up for my sister's wedding, so I decided to hire her for both hair and make-up. I didn't exactly know what I wanted, so I ended up having two trials for hair/make-up which Cara was extremely accommodating about (including scheduling one early on a Sunday morning before my bridal shower). I had a very large wedding party (10 bridesmaids, plus mother and mother-in-law) who needed to get ready, and Cara did not charge me for needing extra assistants. She brought two make-up artists (including herself), and two hair artists. One of the hair artists was different than originally planned, so she definitely has a network of qualified people to call on for back-up if needed. The team was very easy to work with, receptive to pictures and feedback from my bridesmaids, and everyone looked stunning. Highly recommend!

Cara and Kristen from Blush were incredible to work with. They were laid back, easy-going, funny and did phenomenal work. They were flexible when one of my bridal party decided at the last minute to get makeup done. I had a ton of compliments, and people asking for Cara and Kristen's information to book appointments with them later! Would highly, highly recommend!

Blush Makeup and Hair Artistry came highly recommended to me by a coworker and I could not be happier with my experience! For my trial, Cara did my makeup and Kristen did my hair. I was stunned by how amazing I looked and knew I did not have to worry about the wedding day. On the wedding day, Cara, Tori, and Kristen arrived early and made sure that my girls and I looked stunning. The high quality of their work lasted all day and night and is evident in photos and video. I cannot recommend Blush Makeup and Hair Artistry enough!

felt so beautiful on my wedding day! Cara and Tori were our makeup team. Every woman looked outstanding- these two truly captured our visions and expectations, lashes where we needed, lip color and more. Many of us came in saying “make me beautiful” and our expectations were exceeded! Everyone looked and felt so beautiful and confident for our day! I wish I could feel that confident every day! Kristen and Melissa were our hairstyling team. Melissa just crushed it, she was so efficient and made everyone she styled look effortlessly and glamorously beautiful. I felt like we were movie stars! Kristen was very precise and made sure every curl, pin and wisp fell or hid or stayed exactly as needed. I came to Kristen with 3 different photos, wanting to blend them. I had no idea how it’d be possible but she exceeded my expectations. This entire team just exudes confidence, excitement and joy for their passion. I was very nervous about beauty prep for my wedding and all four of these women truly made us feel our very best. I’m obsessed and know that if I need hair and makeup done again in the Baltimore area, I will be contacting them!!

Blush did makeup for myself and all of my bridesmaids. They were incredibly helpful and flexible with our tight schedule and the makeup was beautiful! Their price is very reasonable and they are very friendly to work with.

Cara, from Blush, and her team were true make up artists. They captured me and my wedding perfectly for our wedding. Having tried other make up artists, I realized that describing what your ideal wedding make up is, may be different from what is traditionally thought of as wedding make up. Even sharing photographs of what you want your face to look like doesn’t necessarily translate to the same look because of different skin types and combinations of color. Cara was able to work with my vision and my face and created a natural, beautiful look that my husband could recognize, the day of my wedding as me. It lasted the entire day without a smudge despite the waterfall of tears I shed that day. My bridal party looked beautiful, each in their own way, as well.

Cara and Kristen with Blush were amazing! Cara was so sweet and amazing to work with during the planning phase and I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life! I still have people telling me how awesome my hair was, thanks to Kristen. I have lots of scars on my arms and Cara really helped by finding special make up that wouldn't rub off and covering them up. I had two hair trial with Kristen. The first I liked but wasn't in love with. So I went back to Kristen and she took 2 styles I liked and created a look completely unique for me. On the wedding day they were amazing! They got myself, my mom, and 5 bridesmaids hair and make up done in 4 hours. Cara brought in an extra hair stylist to make sure we would all be ready in time. I would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat!

Cara and her team members did a great job on hair and makeup. I interviewed several vendors and their price is very competitive. During the trail, they provided a lot of options and asked for my suggestions until I was satisfied. I was able to go into the wedding day not at all stressed about how I would look because I knew I was in great hands.

Melissa and Christine brought a lot of positive energy while doing hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. My hair looked like a piece of art which stayed in place the entire night and my makeup looked natural and flawless. At the last minute, Christine was even able to provide makeup for my Aunt. I got married on October 21 in Ellicott City, MD. Blush did all my bridesmaids and my hair for the big day on site at Turf Valley! First off, Cara and her staff are amazing to work with! Cara was so responsive when I first reached out about hair services. I had already booked my make-up vendor, and turned out their hair person wasn't available, so they recommended I reach out to Cara at Blush. Thankfully, she was available for my date! Getting the contract together, and setting up my hair trial was a breeze with Cara. Kristen did my hair trail as well as my hair day of. She took my Pinterest Board and visions and made them a reality. What she did to my hair was way better than any picture I had seen! She made my hair go with the style of my dress perfectly! Erica was there to help day of and did an amazing job on the girl's hair too! Side Note - My mom got her hair done at another salon day of to help with timing since we had a lot of bridesmaids. When she got back to the hotel, she wasn't completely happy with it, so Erica said she'd be happy to help and fix it up for her. My mom was so happy with the end result. Everyone looked great, and felt great! I highly recommend Blush for any occasion. Thanks again!

I got married on Septemebr 10th in Annapolis and Blush did all of my bridesmaids and my hair, as well as my moms. They did an amazing job and are so friendly and fun to talk to! Kristen did my make up and she did an amazing job as well! We got so many compliments throughout the night on our hair and makeup. Cara was so responsive and super easy to set up a trial with. Also, they didnt charge a fee to come to our venue in Annapolis! I recommend Blush to anyone who wants affordable, beautiful hair and makeup, and friendly individuals who want you to feel beautiful! :)

I worked with Cara and her team for my wedding in May. Cara was super responsive throughout the process and very up-front about how payment and appointments work. Tori and Kristen did the hair and makeup on the actual day of my wedding and my trial. It was only me, my mother and sister getting services on the wedding day, and we were very low-key, but Tori and Kristen brought the beauty. My mom and sister looked great, and my makeup and hair ended up looking even better than at the trial. For the price and service, you cannot beat Cara and her Blush team for your bridal party needs.

For my January wedding, I used Blush Makeup Artistry and worked with Cara for makeup and Kristen for hair. It took a while to find a vendor that provided on-site hair and makeup, while being reasonably priced. I was beyond happy with the beautiful hair and makeup provided by Blush and would strongly recommend them to other brides. Cara was incredibly organized and professional throughout the whole process. She promptly responded to all emails and came up with a schedule that ensured we were on track during the wedding day. They arrived at 9am and moved through the bride, five bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride with time to spare! They helpfully steered me towards hair and makeup that meshed well with my dress and vision and had loads of ideas for my bridesmaids. I typically do not wear a lot of makeup and Cara found a makeup look for me that was both natural but also photographed beautifully. On the wedding day, I had a few tweaks from my original hair and makeup trial and both Cara and Kristen were incredibly flexible. I felt like my best self on my wedding day and went into pictures and the wedding ceremony confident and glowing!

Cara and her team were great! I had to reschedule my trial a few times, and I also requested for some of my bridesmaids to have their hair done at the last very minute (a few days before the wedding) and they were completely flexible with all of my requests. Cara is very professional, responsive, and was able to replicate the exact look I wanted for my wedding day. We all looked great and the overall experience was wonderful!

Blush was great. If I could give them 10 stars for value and flexibility I would. First of all, I had a small wedding party so for most vendors, I wasn't meeting their minimums and they wanted me to add more family members/guests to the line-up. But I really wanted to keep things small and personal, and Blush was the first to say they could not only accommodate me but they could do it at a reasonable price. Such a relief!

I also appreciated their flexibility when it came to developing my overall look. I had to do a couple hair trials with Kristen to figure out what suited me and my dress. On the day of, it all seemed to come together beautifully, and we were able to incorporate some hair accessories at the last minute. And somehow, Kristen managed to get my very fine hair to survive a raging thunderstorm and mega-humidity. Janet handled my makeup and made some tweaks to shift from the beachy look we discussed months before to something more classic and in-line with my final wardrobe. Blush was receptive to feedback and able to make changes on the fly so that my look was cohesive and polished. I felt like my best self and was so thankful to have their support and expertise on my wedding day.

Cara & Kristen from Blush were amazing to work with! They met my bridal party at the hotel in Harbour East and did an excellent job! I had a trail with them a couple months back Kristen offered several suggestions for getting my hair to look fuller (FYI, buying clip-in extension & they worked great!) I decided the day of I wanted to change the eye make-up a little and Cara knew exactly what to do. All the girls looked amazing for my wedding!!! They were great to work with and got along so well with everyone. My flower girls loved the fact they got to wear a little blush for the wedding too! Highly recommend Blush!!!!

I can't say enough kind things about Cara who provided makeup services for my entire bridal party plus my mom and future MIL. She was OUTSTANDING! My mom and I both saw Cara about 2 months out for a trial and she couldn't have been more professional and personable. On a every day basis, I don't wear much makeup. A swipe of mascara and blush and I'm usually out the door! So my biggest concern was making sure I looked like myself on my wedding day. I explained this to Cara and asked to look like the best version of my natural self and boy, did she deliver! In fact, I loved the lipgloss/stick so much I went out and purchased my own the very next day. My mom, who wears even less makeup than I do, looked beautiful as well! We were so excited for the day of and again, the service was outstanding. Everyone looked beautiful and was so pleased with Cara! Also-- Cara's responsiveness with email was outstanding. She was quick to respond and answered all my questions in a timely fashion, which I so appreciated! She also put together my "day of timeline" which was a huge stress-relief. I'd highly recommend Cara to anyone and I hope I get to work with her in the future :)

I loved my makeup for my wedding!! It was exactly what I wanted and Cara did a great job. I would have used them to do my hair as well if I did not book someone else at the time. I looked so natural and flawless. They use air brush and Cara was able to look at the pictures I brought and created the same look on me. She is very flexible with times and even offered to help me with the time line for wedding day. She was professional and showed up early to set up to ensure we would start on time. I have also gotten my hair and makeup done by them for my best friends wedding and Cara's team is amazing for her wedding. Everyone was happy with their hair and makeup. You will not have to worry about what you get with them. They by far are the best! Out of all the vendors I researched they have the best price and best quality trust me! Blush was recommended to me by my photographer, Grace and Elegance Photography. I was not steered wrong by any stretch. Cara, the owner, was extremely forthcoming, communicative,and timely in her communications. It was a breeze to arrange a hair and makeup trial during my bridal shower weekend, especially given I was planning from the other coast. The choice to select Blush as my hair and makeup vendor was obvious after my being very pleased with the trial. From there, Cara answered any questions (and there were many) all the way up to the day of. Tori (makeup) and Kristen (hair) did a lovely job on the day of for me, my mom, and my bridesmaids. I used Blush Makeup Artistry for my recent wedding for both hair and makeup. I searched endlessly for a vendor that provided on-site hair and makup AND be reasonably priced, somthing that proved to be VERY hard in the DC metro area. However, I came across Blush on Weddingwire and decided to give them a try.....and I was glad I did! Cara is very friendly and responded immediately to my email for a consultation. Within a week, I had a hair and makeup trial set up! The day of my wedding, Tori (makeup) and Kristen (hair) both came early and set up so they could be right on time with the timeline I arranged with Cara! Besides myself, I had 3 bridesmaids and my mother and they stayed right on time with everyone, without rushing. And the quality of their work is amazing! My bridesmaid and myself were throughly impressed with both our hair and makeup for the day! I cannot say enough positive remarks about my experience with Blush! I met Cara and Kristen at my sister-in-laws' wedding last year. They were nothing but professional, accommodating, and fit in with our group which can sometimes be a little loud. After the work that they did for her wedding and the compliments I received I knew we were going to use them for our wedding. Cara is very responsive to emails and easy to work with. She had no trouble working around my busy schedule . My mother and I were so impressed by the trial and how we were able to say what we did and didn't like and Cara made sure to correct and explain what she was doing by taking a picture and comparing it to my skin tone, etc. The lipstick that we had used at the trial was no longer being made but Cara found an exact replicate and even gave me the tube to make sure I had enough on the wedding day.

On our wedding day they should up early and were easy to work with. They bring everything they could possibly need and no space is too big or to small. All the girls hair and makeup (everyone chose airbrush) was done by Janet, Kristen, Cara, and Melissa and they all did a fantastic job and no one had any complaints. The makeup and hair stayed on throughout the heat as it was unbelievably hot that day. I trusted Kristen with my hair since she can take a picture and make it come to life. I even changed my wedding hair the day of so it was a completely different style than what we did when I had my trial. She didn't even bait an eye and she knocked it out of the park. I wasn't sure what to do with my bangs and during the trial we had talked about letting them get a little longer so I let my bangs grow and they were too long. I had the full confidence to let her cut them the day of my wedding so my bangs would behave and look good. I surprised Cara as well the day of as I had gone and gotten a spray tan the day before so was much darker than I was during the trial she was able to adapt and really make my eyes pop and my makeup look flawless. I usually do not put on makeup or do anything to my hair so it was amazing that Blush Makeup Artistry knew exactly what to do to make me look good! Cara did my makeup and Kristen did my hair. They did such a fantastic job. I did a trial and I was glad I did. I wasn't quite sure exactly what I wanted, so I found a few pictures of things I roughly thought might do the trick and Cara and Kristen did the rest. They asked me multiple times if this or that was what I wanted and were very responsive. I took several pictures and sent to my bridal party for help and they made some suggestions. Cara and Kristen changed my look to reflect those suggestions and it looked great.

I would absolutely recommend anyone to use Blush. They were professional and were at the price point I was looking for. They were able to come to my house (VERY) early to do my hair and makeup for my morning wedding with no additional charge (if you're within the same zip code).

Tori did an amazing job on my airbrush make-up that lasted all day and night. She knew exactly what looked good with my fair skin tone and gave me a beautiful natural look for my wedding day.

I showed Erica several hairstyles that I liked and she took the similarities from all the photos and gave me the most beautiful updo for my wedding! My sister-in-law got her hair done too. She has very thick and curly hair and usually has problems with it staying styled so I told Cara about her hair type before the wedding and Erica came prepared. Her hair looked beautiful and lasted all day. Erica can do anything!

Blush did a great job in making my wedding so special! Erica and Melissa did my hair along with five of my bridesmaids, and everyone looked gorgeous! Erica did my hair, and she did a great job in accommodating exactly what I wanted (I showed her a picture) and made it even better. I got so many compliments on my hair, and my bridesmaids looked so classy! I was in contact with Cara about any schedule changes, and she was very flexible and willing to accommodate what I asked. I heard of Blush through a friend of my husbands cousin who highly recommended their services. Tori was my makeup artist. She is very sweet and pleasant to be around. The mother of the groom and I went for a makeup trial a couple months before the wedding. We were very pleased with the end result and had complete confidence Tori would do an amazing job on the wedding day. Tori has a knack for using makeup in such a way that it complements one’s own natural beauty. She went above and beyond at the trail; playing around with a smokey eye. We contracted Blush for makeup services only. Blush comes to you on your wedding day, and does everything on site. Tori was very punctual, in fact she arrived to the hotel early!
On the day of the wedding, myself (bride) and the Moms, received airbrush makeup with lashes. The end product spoke for itself, everyone looked and felt fantastic! I loved the lashes (cluster lashes); they looked natural and enhanced my overall look. I received many compliments on how nice my makeup looked throughout the day.
Their pricing is reasonable for the Baltimore/DC region. There is a travel fee if traveling greater than 25 miles (from Odenton).
They allow you to add bridal party members up until the day of the wedding if the timing allows for the artists, but it’s not guaranteed. Lashes are an additional charge for bridesmaids and the Moms, but included in the cost of the bride. Got Blush will do flower girl makeup for free (blush and shimmer). Also, the bride is expected to pay for valet parking for the artist.
Cara handed the administrative side, responding to email inquiries in a timely manner, updating the contract, assisting with the wedding day timeline, etc. She is very detail oriented and organized.
When I look back at the pictures, I couldn't be happier with how well the makeup looked! Tori did an amazing job (I wish she could do my makeup every time I go out)! My airbrush lasted throughout the entire event (from 12:30 pm to 2:00 am!)

Cara did my makeup on my wedding day and did makeup for my two bridesmaids. I also did a makeup trial with her a few weeks before the wedding. She is so nice, professional, flexible, and responsive. Cara and her team did a great job. I was juggling working, planning, and CPA studying and Cara was really patient and understanding. I found Cara based on her reviews on Weddingwire and she was by far the best priced option for hair and make up. Kristen was able to do my hair and she was SO sweet - she reminded me a real life Anna from the movie "Frozen" - so bubbly and just genuinely kind. They were both able to meet me the week before the wedding to do a trial run since that was really my only free time to do so. The two of them and Cara's her team came out to Frederick and made the morning of the wedding stress free. They were all incredibly professional but friendly at the same time, so everyone was able to relax and enjoy the morning. My bridesmaids and my mom had their hair done and they all looked amazing - which is a first time I have ever seen that happen at a wedding (normally there is at least one person who hates their hair but deals with it). Almost everyone got their make up done and those who did looked great (my one bridesmaid actually got a boyfriend out of the deal - he saw a picture of her from my wedding on Facebook and said "I need to meet this girl!!!" LOL) I would highly recommend getting the false lashes and my only regret is not purchasing Cara's lipstick as she offered.

Cara was awesome to work with. She was so nice, responsive, flexible, and excellent at makeup. I got so many compliments on my makeup the day of my wedding. When she was finished, I looked in the mirror and was stunned at how amazing it looked. She put the perfect amount of makeup on so it didn't look overdone but enough to make pics look awesome.
Besides myself, I had 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers all getting their hair and makeup done. Cara and her team finished ahead of schedule and made them all look so beautiful. Cara and her team showed up at the hotel where we were staying on time and ready to go. I am beyond blessed to have been referred to Blush by a friend. After searching the Web and asking opinions of those around me, I was getting frustrated with knowing I had to select a makeup/hair artist for my wedding in February. Fortunately, I came across Blush through a friend, and I was able to immediately set up a trial. The moment I met the fabulous duo of Kristen and Cara, I knew I was going to book with them. Kristen worked magic with my extremely fine and thin hair. Cara knew I was hesitant about wearing make-up (I normally don't wear much on a daily basis) and kindly asked me about my preferences and comfort level with each shade/tone. I loved my trial's end result and surprised my fiance with new look as I picked him up from the airport. He approved!
I was lucky that they were available for my wedding date. Cara was great about emailing back and forth to work out pricing, scheduling, etc. Kristen was super helpful too; they both offered to look over any photos of styles my girls and I wanted. On the day of, they braved extremely cold temps and still icy roads and arrived at the hotel even before I did! They were punctual and ready to go! I opted for airbrush, and the makeup lasted almost 12 hours before I removed it. The lashes she used were very natural and great for adding a little extra special something without being too obvious. Kristen was great with creating a low updo with my barely shoulder-length hair. The girls and I were all extremely pleased with our final results! I knew I had made the right choice when they were all parading around the hotel room saying they wished they could be beautified like this every day!
My hair and makeup endured the subzero temperatures and wild winds atop Federal Hill later in the afternoon as my soon-to-be husband I took pictures. I can't wait until my photos come out so I can see Cara's and Kristen's work!

I had Blush for my wedding and they were fabulous! They did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party. I was very pleased with the services provided on my wedding day by Cara and Tori of Blush Makeup Artistry. I loved working with Kara and Tori. As the bride they had an appointment with me long before the wedding to get an idea of how I wanted my make up and to complete a trial. Tori was my make up artist and she did everything I asked. The day of the wedding she tweaked everything to make my face look clean, fresh and beautiful! All of my girls looked amazing and so did my mom and my mother in law. This is a small company but does outstanding work! Blush Inc. did my makeup for my wedding. They did airbrush makeup on me and two bridesmaids and traditional makeup on the mother of the bride. Tori came to the venue and did our makeup. She was on time (early actually!), friendly and very professional. She also did a trial session with me a few weeks before my wedding which she came to my house. I can't say enough good things about Blush. Cara and Jeanne did make up for myself and nine ladies in my wedding party. They were super friendly and professional. I had a great experience with Cara! Fantastic. I chose Blush by sitting down one day and googling "wedding makeup in Annapolis". I read a million reviews and emailed about 10 different companies. Cara was quick to respond, professional and easy to work with. She really understood what I wanted (very little makeup) and when I went for a trial she actually listened to what I liked and didn't like. She has great listening skills and can translate that in to beautiful makeup. My trial went so well that my mom and sister also decided to get their makeup done.
Cara was on time and prepared on my wedding day. She did not overbook herself and I never felt rushed to get in and out of her chair. Cara keeps her prices competitive but also doable. If her prices would not have been reasonable I probably would not have taken the first step to give her a try. I would recommend Blush to anyone looking to have professional makeup. My makeup lasted from 1pm to 3am!!!

Cara was truly a pleasure to work with. I was very worried about having makeup done since my now husband really wanted me to look like myself at our wedding. Cara was wonderful! She's sweet and she is amazing at what she does! I did a trial with her about a month before the wedding and I think it was very useful. It helped me get an idea of the look I wanted and decide whether fake eyelashes were for me or not. She used airbrush, which really evened out my skin and covered up my blemishes. I can't help but wish I could do this every day!
On my wedding day, she arrived at our hotel a little early and was ready to get started right away. She did my sister's makeup as well, and really did a wonderful job on both of us. I'm very pleased I chose Blush for my wedding makeup and definitely recommend!

Tori did the makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding at the Engineer's Club. She did an absolutely fabulous job and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist. She was everything you could want in someone helping you the day of your wedding- professional, timely, and really sweet!

I had done a trial with Tori in advance and saw how great she was, but was actually most nervous about my mom's makeup. My mom never wears makeup and only agreed to do it for the wedding to make me happy. I let Tori know that and she handled the whole situation so well. Not only was she super nice to my mom (who, of course, was emotional that day), but she made her makeup subtle enough for her to feel comfortable, while still making her a picture-perfect Mother-of-the-Bride. I could not have asked for anything more!

I will be recommending Tori to all of my friends and hope that this review helps some other lucky brides out there make a good choice too!

From my initial contact, to my wedding day, Cara was extremely helpful and accommodating! I had my makeup trial with Cara 6 months prior to my wedding. On my wedding day, Cara and her assistant came to our home to do my makeup, as well as my bridesmaids and mother. We were all extremely happy and satisfied with Cara and her assistant. Working with Blush was a wonderful experience! Tori did my makeup for my March wedding and was outstanding! We did my trial run about 2 months in advance, and she created the perfect makeup look for my wedding. On the day of the wedding, she arrived early to get set up so we could start right on time. She had written down the colors we used during the trial, so she knew exactly what to use, but was also responsive to my request to "kick it up a notch" and use slightly darker colors on the eyes. Cara is fabulous to deal with from start to finish. She is so professional and friendly. I did two trials, one before I booked with her and then another a few weeks before the wedding. At the first one, I showed her a photo of another bride I liked, & she was very honest about how that bride wore a TON of makeup. I thought I wanted the same, so she did make me look beautiful with the airbrush makeup, but I realized it was too much for me. At the second trial, I asked for a more natural look, & she was more than happy to do just that. She will definitely do whatever you ask for, but obviously she makes it gorgeous ;) She was recovering from a c-section and still did my trial and showed up for the wedding day, which speaks volumes of how loyal and dedicated to her company she is. That meant the world to me. Cara and Jeanne were PHENOMENAL on the wedding day. Timing was perfect and everyone looked so beautiful. I would use them again in a heart beat. WOW!! I worked with Cara from Blush. I don't think amazing is even a strong enough word. From our first e-mail to my wedding day, she was beyond fantastic. She gave me so much information up front and made me feel so important. We did a makeup trial and she was so open to my feedback and gave me details on what she was doing and told me she could add or take away anything I did not like. But I loved it!!! It was all perfect. I looked absolutely beautiful and I don't say that too much. Everyone at the wedding complimented my makeup all night!! On my wedding day, she came to my hotel where we were getting ready and did my makeup. She brought all of her supplies and makeup chair! She made everyone feel absolutely beautiful and everyone loved her. She was so accommodating, friendly, and a joy to work with!! We even had people who weren't on the list to get makeup done that ended up doing it because it was so beautiful! Cara is amazing at her job and I would hire her to do every other big event in my life. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

I used Cara and her assistant for my wedding day bridal makeup. They also provided the makeup for the rest of my wedding party. Everything, from my first contact with Cara, to the last brush of makeup was absolutely wonderful. Cara is extremely pleasant to work with, very professional, and most importantly, very talented. I had a very diverse group of girls, and everyone's makeup came out beautifully without exception. I am, by my own admission, extremely type A and a perfectionist... and I can honestly say my makeup was perfection. I was incredibly happy with how I looked from the beginning of my ceremony til the end of the reception. I would absolutely recommend Cara to any bride.

Cara, the owner of Blush, was excellent to work with. She did a trial about two months prior to the wedding and wrote down all the products she used so on the day of the wedding I had nothing to worry about. Cara and her co-artist Tori showed up early on my wedding day to set up, and completed make-up for my four bridesmaids, my mom, and me ahead of schedule. My make-up washed air brushed and looked amazingly natural. I gave Cara and Tori free reign on the bridesmaids and although each girl’s makeup was different they looked fabulous. Cara and Tori knew exactly what colors went well with each bridesmaid’s skin tone. Cara even ordered me a lipstick so I would be able to reapply throughout the night. I would definitely recommend Blush, they were a pleasure to work with through the entire process.

Cara is such a beautiful person inside and out. She made me feel so comfortable during the trial in her home. I came into the trial with several recommendations about airbrush and was a ltitle apprehensive. Cara has such a kind, gentle way that I immeadiately felt at ease. During the trial, she was constantly assessing what I wanted and took her time making sure everything was written down. The end result was so beautiful I had no interest in looking elsewhere.

On the day of my wedding, Cara arrived with her assistant early to my home. She was set up and ready to go on time. Both Cara and her assistant made all of my bridesmaids and mother feel comfortable. Every single woman was so pleased with the end result, whether they chose traditional or airbrush. I could not be more pleased with their work. Cara, thank you for helping me feel so beautiful on such an important day!

Tori did my makeup for my December 24th wedding. I wanted a natural look and she really did exactly what I had in my mind. I received so many compliments on how great I looked, even through a few tears, my makeup still looked flawless! I also had a hair disaster a few minutes before the wedding and Tori happily helped out with my hair as well. I was told at my wedding I looked like a princess and I cannot thank Tori and Blush enough for how amazing her work was! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a makeup artist! Cara Gibson was an amazing make-up artist and I'm happy to recommend her! My friend found her to use at her wedding last year, and I was so impressed with the quality of her work and professionalism that I practically booked her for my wedding a year later right there. Cara arrived early morning the day of my wedding and made 6 women and 1 little girl look absolutely beautiful. She is very good at choosing color and make up that will work for each individual skin tone and eye color. She is adept at highlighting the beauty without overdoing the make-up; even my bridesmaid who doesn't wear a lot of make-up was comfortable. I would definitely use her again.

Cara is hands down the best makeup artist is the DC area! Prior to doing my wedding makeup she had done my makeup for several other events and every single time my airbrush makeup looked flawless! She is extremely professional and trustworthy. She applied the airbrush makeup at 8am and by the time the after-party ended at 2am my makeup still looked amazing -- even after having a 5 hour outdoor summer reception. I've already recommended her to friends & family and everyone only has positive and amazing things to say about her. I can't imagine anyone else doing such an amazing job - thank you Cara!!

I got airbrush makeup and an airbrush tan from Cara and I can't tell you how happy I am with how everything turned out. Cara is so friendly and willing to work around your schedule for trial timing and day of. She was very prompt day of and my make up, as well as my MOH, turned out beautifully. The makeup lasted through my crying, and yes ladies, I am a BIG crier. This was one of my concerns when choosing the airbrush, but Cara emailed prior clients for me to find out if any of them had negative experiences. She went out of her way to help me make a more informed decision, it really made me confident in her as my makeup artist. Even through the tears, sweat, and 10 hour day, my makeup was still glowing at the end of the night!

Cara was out of town when my wedding was scheduled but she called me right back and had Jen do a consultation at her house. I booked her immediately when I saw the results of her work. On the day of the wedding Jen did a fantastic job with my makeup and covered all my redness and a blemish on my back and the girls makeup in the wedding party was also done well. They did not have a consultation and she was able to bring out the color in their eyes and their skin was radiant. She is very concerned about the appearance and condition of the skin. Jen was very easy to work with and talked away with us during the whole time. She arrived early and stayed late for last minute touch ups. Very professional and friendly. Have already recommended them to others.

I highly recommend Cara who provided the perfect makeup for three bridesmaids, my grandmother, and me for my wedding. She was professional, reliable, friendly, and flexible. Just got married in Annapolis on June 15th, and could not have asked for a better makeup company. Cara did the makeup for my bridesmaids, mother, and myself on my wedding day. Everyone absolutely LOVED how their makeup was done. I found her on WeddingWire, and decided to have a trial with her, and I am so happy I used her for the wedding.
Cara brought an assistant on the wedding day to help make the process a little quicker, and everything went perfectly according to schedule. Cara was very organized from the beginning, always keeping in touch after our initial contact, and providing a detailed contract and schedule for the day. She listened closely to everyone's preferences/requests for how they wanted their makeup to look, and did not make anyone look "overdone" or unnatural. I used the airbrush makeup, and LOVED IT! I would definitely recommend it to any bride who wants their makeup to stay put through dancing/sweat and tears!
Overall, I had a great experience with Cara and would highly recommend her to any bridal party.

I heard about Cara Gibson with Blush Makeup Artistry through my cousin who heard about Cara from many of her friends that have used Blush for their bridal makeup. Word travels fast when you find an awesome Makeup Artist for whatever the occasion may be. I used Blush Makeup for my Bridal Makeup and my makeup was just as I pictured it would be on my wedding day. Cara was a pleasure to work with through the entire wedding process. From the very begining when I was evaluating makeup artists in the area, Cara gave the warmest first impression, the least pressure sale, she was afforadable, and very responsive compared to other artists that I researched in the Maryland area. She was very flexible to work with for my make up trial scheduling since I lived out of town. Upon meeting her, I completely felt at ease with her. It is scary having someone do your makeup but she listened to what I wanted and met my requests. I absolutely LOVED the makeup that she did for my bridesmaids and I plus it lasted all day/night. Also, as we got closer to the day of my wedding, all of my bridesmaids (8) plus Mother of the Groom decided that they wanted makeup done by her and her awesome assistant (Heather). Without any hesitation she modified our schedule and was able to accomodate all of my girls, plus stuck to our itinerary so all services were completed without any rushing/stress/delay getting to the wedding.

I would 100% recommend her for any one who is in the DC/MD/VA area looking for a makeup artist. I cannot say enough good things about her or my experience working with her. She was the most affordable that I had found, but also not cheap where you are afraid of the service that you may get. She truly knows what she is doing and has been in the industy for many years. This is her full time job, so she is fully dedicated to her clients. She was fun to work with and made my whole wedding party B E A U T I F U L.
