Anita at Blush and Glow made me look and feel amazing during my wedding weekend! Artee, another lead artist did my make up for my brother and sister in law's wedding in Houston a while ago and I loved my looks. Needless to say I already had my mind made up. I emailed them about 6 months in advance since I already knew they were the H&MUA vendor I wanted to go with. Lisa was my point of contact for scheduling and she let me know Anita and Andrea were available for my weekend. Lisa was super responsive and worked with my day of coordinator to make sure we all had timelines and all our questions were answered. My mom, MIL, three sister in laws also got their hair and make up done. I went in for a trial with Anita about 2-3 months before the wedding and we did my ceremony look since that was the most intricate with the tikka, dupatta, etc. I gave her an overall vision of how I wanted to look and shared some pinterest pics and she took it from there. The trial was super important for me and it gave her an idea of how big my hair had to be to secure the dupatta (it was heavy!) We talked a bit about my looks for sangeet and reception, I wanted dramatic/glam, but I honestly gave her all the freedom to do what she wanted- and I'm so glad I did! I felt like a queen for every event and it's all thanks to Anita. She listened, understood my vibe and delivered on every look. They're products are awesome too and you get a free B&G lipstick for every makeup application. They wear so well, barely had to reapply all night. The hair extensions and lashes were also included in the bridal package and I can't wait to wear them again. Anita matched my hair color perfectly- I was nervous about wearing extensions that were mismatched from my natural hair but that wasn't an issue at all. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about them, if you're a bride looking for the best, go with Blush and Glow, you won't be disappointed!

If you are a Texas bride (or any state, really) do not book anyone else for hair and makeup! I got engaged in May 2015 and they were the first vendor I booked once I had a date because there wasn't anyone I trusted more than Anita at Blush and Glow. I booked them a year in advance to be safe and I am so glad I did. I booked her for my hair and makeup for my bridal portrait trial, my bridal portrait, a Gaye Holud, my Rehearsal Dinner and my Wedding ceremony and reception looks because I loved her makeup so much. Having spent a ton of hours with her, she is as pleasant and fun to be around as she is talented (very important when booking an artist for that many events!) She really cares about you as a person and makes sure that you are fully satisfied before finishing a look. She is a true artist and made sure that my hair and makeup was not only exactly as I envisioned it, but that each look lasted over 18 hours without touch ups. I have been married a month and I am still getting compliments over my hair and makeup looks. They are both incredible and I am soo happy I chose them for my wedding!! I cannot believe I haven't reviewed these ladies yet!!

Artee did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/11/2014. She did a phenomenal job!!! Whenever I am in Houston and I need my makeup done, I will ONLY go to B&G.

They are both so talented. I cannot rave about them enough!!!

From scheduling my bridal trial, to coming to my wedding venue and doing 10 people in my bridal party (including myself), the Blush and Glow team were outstanding!! They made it a stress free environment which put everyone at ease to just enjoy getting dolled up! The girls looked beautiful and the quality of the products were evident. The make up stayed on perfectly so we were able to dance the night away! Anita and Artee were very considerate when it came to someone wanting to change something. They were quick to make it so that each and every girl was comfortable and feeling their best. Blush and Glow is far worth the money and I would recommend them to any of you who is looking for a GREAT make up and hair team! It is worth it!

Artee was so great to work with. I told her the look I wanted and she added her own artist flare to it and it was amazing. I really did feel like a bride on my wedding day and I know that couldn't of happen without her help. Seriously, awesome person and fantastic job, thank you sooo much!

Anita & Artee are an absolute joy to work with! They are the most knowledgeable and professional makeup and hair artists that I have ever worked with. They were extremely patient with the bridal party, even during difficult requests. They were also very open to discussing different options with me to make sure I was 100% satisfied on my special day. The flood of compliments on my looks proved it!

Blush and Glow is the best! I have used them a few times before for other events so of course I chose them for my wedding! They are very reasonably priced and use the best makeup! They made me feel very beautiful on my wedding! Everyone use them!!

Anita is absolutely amazing! She made me look exactly how I had always imagined! Our wedding was 6 days long and she was able to change the hair and make up look to suit each event but still make sure that I was happy and comfortable with the way I look. Over the 6 days, I had at least 100 people ask me who did my hair and makeup! Anita is extremely talented but still accommodating and adjusting. She's professional and was always on time (or early!) She is the perfect makeup artist for a bride/wedding party!!

Artee with Blush and Glow was a miracle worker. We did a trial session and she was incredibly patient as I changed my mind several times and wanted to try different styles. She arrived early on the day of the wedding and was completely relaxed and calm, which is what I needed first thing in the morning. She also ensured that I looked like myself, just better. My makeup and hair stayed all day and looked incredible in the pictures. A great choice and very happy with the services.

I am normally very weary of getting my hair and makeup done! These girls listened to me and made me look more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was blush and glow that made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world....and I really mean that.

Blush and Glow does make-up and hair with style and flair. Artee has such talent and also is a delight to work with. My heartfelt thanks for such brilliant work! It was such a wonderful day and quite a bit of that is due to the happiness from looking and feeling utterly gorgeous! Anita did my hair for my wedding day. We did a trial run where we decided on things like hair style and color choices. She was very receptive to my indecisiveness! She helped me choose the right makeup colors to go with my dress. She also made sure my thick, heavy hair stayed up all night long! I could not be more pleased with the way my hair and makeup looks in my photos. Blush and Glow's service is first-class all the way.

I still remember the look on all my bridesmaids' faces when Artee said my makeup was finished and I turned around to face everyone to see what they thought and their jaws all dropped to the floor in amazement. Honestly, I don't think I have ever invoked that kind of reaction in ANYONE ANYWHERE, so to have that reaction from my bridal party, my guests and most importantly, my groom, on my most important day meant SO much to me. Organizing 7 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and a bride for hair and makeup was not easy as people kept changing their mind or unsure of their schedule, etc. but Artee was SO patient with me and on the day of the wedding, her and Anita arrived and were SO on point with their schedule. Everyone looked GORGEOUS, like just walked out of a magazine shoot GORGEOUS! We all danced the entire night and worked up major sweats and our makeup and hair still remained flawless. I wish I could hire them everyday to look like this all the time!

Anita and Artee are two wonderful artist and their work is beautiful! I loved everything they did for me during my wedding and they are both very professional when they work with you. I highly recommend them and always refer to them! Definately my vendor of choice!!

I can not say enough great things about Anita and "Blush and Glow". People are still commenting about how great my makeup looked and how it remained flawless throughout the entire evening, even in the rain. She listens to what you want and makes you look exactly as you imagined and even better. Lastly, the fact that she was willing to meet me at the location of my wedding (which was "way out in the country) was so helpful. I would and will recommend her services to anybody.

Blush and Glow had done makeup and hair on my best friend for her engagement. She looked so natural with the airbrush makeup and her hair was picture perfect. After seeing that the makeup lasted through her event, I knew Blush and Glow was for me. They did makeup on my the day before my wedding for an important meet and greet event. I was a little nervous. Arti with Blush and Glow took my verbal comments on how I wanted my hair done and worked wonders. Everyone at the event loved the hair style and make up. They really made the day that much more special. I glowed from inside cause I was happy with all the event/family/friends around me and the makeup and hair amplified that from the outside. Thank you! You guys are truly fabulous! I searched high and low for an affordable BUT experienced hair and makeup team for me and my girls and I was so nervous about the quality of work I would get for my budget. Boy was I pleased when I chose Blush and Glow! The first thing that attracted me to chose you all was the photos on your website and the diversity of clients you were able to satisfy! You are experienced in all face shapes, skin tones and ethnicities! When I arrived at your fabulous studio I was a nervous wreck but you calmed me and my girls and we felt right at home! The wine was a great treat! :0) I can only sing praises about you both! I LOVED my hair and makeup and it lasted till the next day which was well over 16 hours! My girls were thrilled about their hair and makeup also! Very professional, kind and confident in your work! I love that you listened to what I wanted and made it even better! LOVE LOVE LOVE these girls! They offer some of the best prices that I researched and really have impeccable service. My hair and makeup turned out amazing. I worked with Anita, and she really took her time with me on my trial run (which was about 3 months before the wedding). She was super thorough and took detailed notes so on the day of the wedding, there were no questions. Artee was with her on the day of the wedding and between the two of them, they did hair and makeup for myself, two moms, my aunt, grandma, and 4 bridesmaids. Everyone looked spectacular and loved their hair and makeup. I would definitely recommend them to any bride I know in the Houston area.

wow, were do i even begin! Blush and Glow rocks! we contracted with them for our May wedding. I had 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and myself (bride) requiring services. the makeup was absolutely gorgeous. anita did an amazing job and was able to create unique, yet classic looks for each one of my bridesmaids. they loved it! the pictures came out flawless. the airbrush makeup is a must...i didn't need a touch up all day/night (10 hours+). i would highly recommend their pre-wedding makeup trial...i was very at ease going into the day knowing that we were both on the same page. several weeks out from the day they also provided a makeup timeline. not only did they arrive at the hotel early, but we even finished early! it couldn't have gone any smoother. these ladies are incredibly talented and professional. i would work with B&G again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!!

My hair and airbrush makeup were done by Artee. Anita was there to help out with the bridesmaids and my mom. Artee was great she was super nice and willing to work with me until I loved my entire look.

At the first trial (at Anitas house, where their studio is), the airbrush makeup was done to cover up the redness on my face and chest (I turn red when I get emotional, or drink, or get hot). The rest of the makeup products were a combination of Sephora brands and drugstore brands whatever theyve found works best. My fiancé liked the makeup after the first trial he said it looked like me, but better, which is what I wanted (had a bad experience at another artists trial). I wasnt happy with my hair after the first trial (the style that I had picked didnt look good on me, and it didnt last very long), so Artee offered to do another hair trial for free (while my mom was having her makeup trial). The second hair trial was perfect! She worked with me until it was exactly what I wanted, and the curls lasted until I washed them out!

The day of the wedding the hair/makeup were exactly like the trials I felt great and natural, it lasted throughout the night (she gave me a lip brush with lipstick for touchups), and the redness from drinking wine never showed through! The curls in my hair held all the next day! My mom (in her 60s) was initially concerned about the airbrush makeup settling into her fine lines and wrinkles but after the first trial, she was a convert her skin looked amazing!

My only small complaint is that Anita got lost on her way to the venue (it is hard to get to), and that caused their schedule to get off a bit, which caused the photo schedule to get off a bit.

But, overall, I highly recommend them they are nice, their work is great, and their prices are very reasonable, especially for airbrush makeup!

This would HANDS down be the vendor for hair and make-up that I would recommend to any new bride! She did all 6 bridesmaids make-up and hair ( plus the mother of the bride) and they all looked stunning! My bridesmaids all had different ethnicities and she chose the perfect color to highlight each girl. I looked amazing - guests commented on how pretty my eye make-up was. She was extremely professional and always on time. It was a pleasure working with her, and I will book her for future events without hesitation!!

I was fortunate to have Artee as the makeup artist for my mom and me. Even though I didn't have a specific style in mind, I wanted to be glowing, while looking as natural as possible. I did a makeup trial with another makeup artist before Artee, but wasn't pleased with the look. When I told Artee what I was looking for, she knew exactly what I wanted, and created that natural look I was aspiring for. For my actual events, she was able to glam me up in a different look for each event, while still keeping in with my "natural" theme.

My mom and I was very pleased with both our our makeup looks. We commend the professionalism and prompt timing of Artee. In retrospect, I wish I had taken Artee's advice of using hair extensions. A tip to future brides - I would definitely recommend giving yourself enough time for multiple makeup trials to ensure they've obtained your perfect look.

I think the rating says it all but here are a few more ti-did bits that might help...... They make you look absolutely flawless. Everyone of my bridesmaids that used them got non stop compliments. They will check with you to make sure you love what you see. You will NOT be sorry if you go with Blush and Glow!!!

Anita and Artee are very professional. Artee was the one who did my hair and make-up and it was fabulous. I took her advice and she was 100% right. She was very helpful with all my questions. I just absolutly loved her work! She even did my daughters hair which came out fabulous as well. They come out to your location without any additional cost as long as you live in Houston. I don't normally wear make-up and when she was finished with the air-brushing I couln't feel anything on my face which was exactly what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better make-up artist or hairstylist on my wedding day! And I would def recommened them to anyone I know.

I had the opportunity to have a trial-run before the big day. I would really recommend brides do that & schedule their bridal portraits for the same day. Artee also came to the wedding site to do my hair & makeup for a nominal fee. It was so nice to relax after all the hectic running around that morning, and be made gorgeous by Artee! I am still getting compliments on my hair! I would definitely recommend Blush & Glow to all brides who want to look flawless on their big day!

Artee was great to work with. She accomplished what I wanted with my makeup. My makeup lasted all night long with no touch ups except for lipstick. I would highly recommend the airbrush makeup. Artee was very professional.

Anita did my mothers makeup and the hair and makeup for me and my two bridesmaids. The Wednesday before the wedding I sent Anita a text asking when she was going to do my extensions. She responded with "On Saturday, do you have them" to which I responded "No". She told me that she would get them and she did in the color called espresso and my hair is a medium brown. So in all of my pictures you can see my medium brown hair and then the almost black extensions that she put in. Now I have to pay my photographer to edit all of the images because its horrible - there is a line. If she would have told me that I should get them I would have. But I assumed that she knew what she was doing, I was wrong.

Anita did my wedding day make up as well as bridal portrait. She put false lashes both times and looked great. Air-brush make up look great in my pictures. She took her time with my hair and make-up, especially the tedious lashes. Artee also did my mother in law's and sister in law's make-up and hair-they both loved that she listened to them and it turned out beautiful.
