An absolute delight

BluSage was an absolute delight to work with, from start to finish! First of all, they were one of the only caterers who listened to our need for vegan, gluten free, and children's meals and provided delicious options (not just boring veggies or chicken nuggets.) Michelle was full of energy and made us so excited for our big day, and was super responsive to our questions and changes. From food to table settings, they really helped bring our wedding together, and we could not have been happier!

Excellent in every way!

My last minute throw together wedding for my daughter was saved by Michelle, who by the way went out of her way to find the Blue Champagne my daughter asked for at her wedding. Michelle and the staff were extremely helpful and kept a cool calm professional attitude throughout the whole experience. The friendly staff helped this mother of the bride stay on track so things ran smooth. The food was excellent and everything on my daughter's wish list was met. I can't say enough nice things about Blu catering, Thank you for making our night perfect.

Mother of the Bride

Michelle the owner of BluSage was an absolute delight to work with for my daughters wedding 4/16/2022!! After we got to talking we learned that Michelle and her team catered my wedding 20 years ago with her 1st catering company!!! All of the food was magnificent!!! The appetizer and dessert display was amazing!!! All of the guest and other vendor raved over all of the food!! Great job Michelle, Beth and team!!!

BluSage catering was extremely flexible, professional, and thorough with coordinating my November wedding. Her staff was very responsive and courteous, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Michelle with BluSage was amazing!

Michelle and her team at R&R Catering/BluSage Cuisine were the PERFECT caterers for our wedding! It was truly all AMAZING... the food, service, working with the flexibility of our venue that had a lot of different spaces for our guests... it was all just so amazing and perfect. They catered both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding, which were different styles and both absolutely delicious. We highly recommend Michelle as she went above and beyond to help make our day amazing.

I looked all over Northern Virginia for reasonably priced, GOOD catering for my modest wedding in Alexandria and BluSage really came through for me. Working with Michelle was a dream. She was responsive, professional, she had a positive attitude, and the communication was on point. I can't tell you how many compliments we received on the food. At least a quarter of the guests told me the food was amazing and many even said it was the best catering they had ever eaten. Something I did not expect but was pleasantly surprised by was the fact that BluSage provided a personal waiter for the bride and groom on our wedding day. Crystal was fantastic. She was took care of us from the second we met. She was ready with drinks as soon as the ceremony was over, she brought us plates of food so we didn't have to worry about getting fed. Our drink glasses were never empty, and she made sure the extra food and cake was boxed up and in the get away car by the time we had our big exit. Also as a perk, I called Michelle the morning of the wedding with a split second change to the contract because I decided I wanted pre-set water at all the places and she threw on the service free of charge. I just had the most amazing experience with them. Schedule a tasting for yourself! You will understand why going with BluSage is a must for your wedding catering.

I am the bride and wedding planner for my wedding (June 29th 2017). I picked R&R (now BluSage) because they were recommended by the venue, were affordable, and seemed like they served more than just a fancy, minuscule serving (we like to eat). I became worried when it became BluSage from R&R without any real announcement. However, Michelle is really good at emailing back and the tasting really hooked us in (they were so nice and the food was good!). On our wedding day we found out that there was a small communication error where they did not know that they needed to set up the chairs for the ceremony as well but our wedding day-of coordinator rectified that. The ceremony area looked amazing and the reception looked fantastic! The staff of BluSage made sure my husband and I were well taken care of with drinks and food. We received SO MANY compliments on the food and service that night! Our friends still rave about the food. We are so glad we stuck with BluSage because they made our night amazing!!

Much to many of the other reviews, we had a fantastic evening with R and R! The food was delicious! I wish we had more time to eat! From the Cocktail appetizers to the cake cutting service, it was perfect! Beth and her crew did an amazing job making sure that us in addition to our guests had a perfect experience. We couldn't have been happier!

We used R&R Catering for our wedding November 2016. I can't say enough great things about them. I worked with Michelle who was amazing! Very responsive and knew exactly what she was talking about. The linens and china provided were beautiful. We provided our own alcohol and Michelle was spot on with the quantities (she recalled them from the top of her head during our coordination meeting. IMPRESSIVE!). We received SO many compliments on the food and how good it was. I would definitely recommend R&R Catering for any catering needs that you might have.

Working with R&R was one of the highlights of wedding planning! My now husband and I had an absolute blast putting our wedding menu together, and everything was incredibly delicious! The staff was incredibly thoughtful in bringing us some drinks and hors d'oeuvres while we were held up taking family photos, and checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we have we had everything we needed. We definitely felt like royalty, and our guests had very positive things to say about the food as well!

We can't say enough great things about R&R catering and especially Rachael Lincoln. My daughter had a vision for her reception and wanted everything a certain way including the right food, flowers, colors and design layout at our venue. Rachael gave us great advice and was extremely accommodating. Prior to the wedding date, she helped us with so many ideas and was always very available. We were absolutely blown away when we walked into St. Francis Hall and saw the tables she set up. She even added votive candles we weren't expecting. The food was excellent and the catering staff wonderful to work with and very professional. They really truly made this the best wedding ever!

We used R&R for my parents 50th Anniversary. I would use them to cater ANY event. Rachael was our sales rep and Cocoa was the lead caterer on the day of the event. R&R Catering was the perfect fit for our wedding! I was impressed from our initial tasting with them, they did not disappoint! I worked closely with Rachael, as she made sure everything was in place for our big day! Dianna was very professional when handling payments before our wedding. Norma was very attentive to the bride and groom during our wedding, making sure we didn't have to want for anything! I would definitely recommend R&R for any type of wedding reception. Rachael from R&R was amazing to work with. She was very flexible with us wanting to taste many options and create our own menu for a slightly nontraditional wedding and food service. She was responsive and made things super easy for us by suggesting delicious options based on what she learned about our tastes. And the team that was arranged for day-of services was great. Brenda, the day-of supervisor, was so easy to work with especially as we were running around setting up for our backyard wedding. We were looking for the food service "to go with the flow" and their preparation and timing was perfect. They did an awesome job of respecting our wishes to separate trash from recyclables from compostable products. They came and left without a trace and our guests were raving about the food all night! I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a big event, especially a wedding when other things can be stressful enough.

I worked with Dianna for the catering for my wedding and she was a breeze and pleasure to work with. She helped us plan our menu and I got nothing but rave reviews from our guests on how good the food is. On the day of the wedding she was there while we did our first look of the venue and made sure that we had everything we needed for the reception. I used R&R catering for my wedding on 4/29/2016. They are a partner of the venue, Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket. I can tell you that we had nothing but compliments from the guests about the food! And that typically NEVER happens! We were able to attend several of their tastings/mock weddings at the venue so we had a great variety of food before we had to select our options. The set up, the staff and bar tenders were all very polite and professional. I honestly hope to eat some more of their food very soon, it was that good!! They were very easy to work with and very responsive - the last couple weeks before the wedding there were some going back and forth with some minor changes/guests counts, etc. and there were no problems. If your venue offers an outside catering option, I would recommend setting up a tasting or attending one of the R&R tastings events and checking them out!

R&R Catering was so great to work with. My Event Designed was fantastic! From the initial tasting to a year later when my event took place she was always responsive and answering my questions and offering suggestions. The food was amazing! RR catering provides exceptional catering services to parties and weddings! I had the pleasure of working with Anne Portell who was the event designer for RR. She helped me create a menu for my wedding and provided tons of recommendations to help me stay in my budget. She was also flexible with a lot of requests I made and help put together table settings that matched with my wedding color theme. Everyone raved how awesome the food was. I highly recommend RR Catering. They have a vast majority of food selections to choose from and their team is extremely professional. Rachael Lincoln at R&R Catering rocks! Rachael took over our contract less than 3 weeks before my wedding day and didn't miss a beat! She stepped in and made sure that everything ran smoothly! Rachael showed excellent professionalism even through my nervous moments. She answered every question and responded to me in a timely fashion. Her team did not an excellent job from the time they arrived to the venue to setup until the event was over!

I am still receiving raving reviews from my guests about how great the food was and how many guests went back for seconds. From the appetizers, to the entrees and service, I rate R&R Catering a 5!

We thoroughly enjoyed with Anne from R&R - if you're getting married in Northern Virginia, chances are she has worked at the venue before and has a relationship with the site manager. We found this to be invaluable as we prepared for our reception, as she was able to provide loads of insight as to what worked in the past, what was problematic, and why. Throughout the process she was personable, accommodating, and a lot of fun to work with. When we told her we were working on a bit of a tighter budget, she was incredibly flexible and helped us find creative ways to cut down costs. She can find ways to make budgets work without sacrificing your vision.

When we first met Martha B., we knew we were in good hands. She was so friendly, accommodating, super helpful, and very caring throughout the process. She did a fantastic job listening to our vision and sharing her insights. We really appreciate how she took her time explaining the different packages, her recommendations, and just the overall logistics of having a catered wedding. We were slightly hesitant when choosing a package because we didn't know a buffet would look like at our wedding. When I think of a buffet, I think chaos and long lines which translates to family members complaining. Fortunately, R&R's ELEGANT buffet is truly elegant! There's no other words to describe it. My family and friends said it was very smooth, beautiful and absolutely tasty! We couldn't be happier with Martha's dedications and hard work!!

Maritza M. and her team were fantastic! They made the bar area, buffet, the serpentine dessert table, everything, everything was beautiful!! Maritza introduced herself to me and my husband during our dinner and she was sooo very kind and accommodating. Her team really went above and beyond and more!

We only looked at R&R to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Definitely using them again. If you are looking for a caterer, I would not doubt this company!!! They know their craft and they do it with passion, energy, and love.

From the planning to the execution, R&R Catering was absolutely incredible. Rachael Lincoln was my event coordinator and she worked with me for months to get the menu and linens nailed down. She was always very responsive via email and phone. She was on top of everything and had me think about things that I wouldn't have even thought to think of. The tasting was so enjoyable with her there to walk us through the food and then she was there at the final walk-through at our venue, and again proved to be such a valuable asset. The day-of was also wonderful. The staff were all prompt, prepared and professional. The event supervisor onsite was so attentive and wonderful. She even went so far as to prepare mine and my husband's plates for us at dinner (we had a buffet) and follow us around with drinks while we took photos. R&R truly provided a 5-star all-inclusive experience and made it so we did not have one worry on the wedding day. I highly recommend them for any event you may have!

We're not quite sure where to start...From the initial meeting we knew we wanted R&R Catering. This only after seeking out 3 others. We didn't feel the warm and fuzzy with the others. R&R just felt right. We want to say to Rachael Lincoln. You truly made our vision come to life. We just can't thank you enough for helping us see this through. The service exceeded our expectations. Your staff were truly professional, organized, efficient and most definitely very polite.

What can we say? The food was OUTSTANDING!!! Every guest told us how delicious the food was. Especially that chicken thing, I can't tell you how many times I've said Chicken Saltimbocca in the past 3 days. But, guess what's for dinner tonight? You got it! Chicken Saltimbocca!

In closing: To the prospective Newlyweds. We have had the distinct pleasure of working with Rachael Lincoln and her staff. So should both of you. It was perfect in every way and we couldn't be happier to refer Rachael to anyone that needs catering.

We used R&R Catering for our wedding and everything was wonderful. We had a plated dinner, beef, chicken and fish and they even gave us a vegetarian option once we realized we had 2 attending we didn't know about. They worked with us to ensure our guests with food sensitivities and even Celiac were well taken care of and their needs were met. This was the BEST wedding food I have ever tasted. I love food and had high standards for the meal I wanted to serve my 150 guests, and let me say R&R blew my expectations out of the water. Not only did they offer us a wonderful tasting to design our menu and bring together various tastes, but Natalie Seng was a amazing resource of information about everything from the ins-and-outs of our wedding venue (Oatlands Historic Gardens and Estates), design ideas, money saving measures, and rain/weather contingency. She immediately responded to any and all our many many questions, was very professional and warm and I knew she would help us make our dreams come true. On our wedding day, Natalie and the rest of the R&R team treated us like Royalty. The groom and I had planned a private dinner during the cocktail hour to get away and enjoy the food/moments. Natalie had a beautifully romantic table set up for us in the garden where she supplied every and all food/beverages we could wish for and gave us the privacy we were craving. There was always a drink in our hand, food on our plates and every detail was taken care of. For instance, during toasts, there were servers waiting right off the stage to immediately hand the speech-giver a drink to cheers with! The guests couldn't stop raving about the food and I wish we could "order" from them every night! Thanks Natalie and R&R, we recommend you to any lucky bride and groom out there, and wish we could do it all over again!!

The food at our wedding was SOOOO good!!! We worked with Anne throughout our planning process and she is kind, gentle, knowledgeable and just all around wonderful. I wish we had more of their food right now - it is so good and the guests gushed about how well everything tasted!!

R&R Catering served the BEST wedding food I have ever had! And I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding, haha. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the tortellini was a huge guest favorite! There was also a ton of food at the very elegant buffet, so everyone was full and happy!

I worked closely with Anne and she was an absolute blessing. We had a tight budget for food, and she went above and beyond to accommodate. On the day of the wedding, she checked in with the groom and I throughout the night to make sure we were taken care of--this included making sure we ate a full plate of food before greeting our guests, and ensuring I always had a glass of wine in my hand!

The R&R Catering staff was extremely professional and friendly, and I highly recommend them!

R&R catering was amazing. I worked with Martha leading up to my wedding and Kathleen was there the day of the event. Very flexible. Very patient with me. Great the day of my wedding; cause ZERO stress. Food tasted great and was proper temperature. There were only a few leftovers; this was great. I felt like they made an appropriate amount and I didn't pay for boat loads of extra food. I can't find anything I would change about my experience with R&R catering.

My husband and I talked and met up with MANY caterers in the Northern Virginia area. R&R after tons of reviewing had provided not only the best tasting food but also for the best price!!! Working with R&R was so easy and I couldn't of been happier. The food on our wedding day was just perfect. We got many compliments. Additionally, the staff were amazing. My husband and I were always catered to- food, drinks, and dessert were brought to us. Our guests also complimented how impressed they were with the staff. A really nice thing is that we got to keep all/any leftovers from the event. Not all caterers provide that. That was important to me to have that. I wanted the food that we spent our money on. I couldn't be happier with R&R and the quality of food and service provided. Let me save you from a long search... this is the perfect caterer!

R&R was incredibly easy to work with and the food was fantastic!

My husband and I felt so taken care of on the day of the wedding. So many people said things to us about how we'd never have a chance to eat on the wedding day, but R&R staff went out of their way to make sure we got a little bit of everything. They tracked us down during cocktail hour and they had put together a plate of things for us. They asked us at dinner if we'd like to go through the buffet ourselves or if they should make us a plate. And then they brought another plate of the appetizers from cocktail hour!

Anne was our contact and she was superb. She responded so quickly to my incessant emails. When we decided with relatively short notice that we wanted to have a signature cocktail, Anne got us all set up for that with no hassle at all. She did a great job working with our coordinator to make sure the layout was all planned out exactly how we needed it.

The food was all delicious, and they were able to provide a gluten free, pescetarian no-bitter greens meal for a friend of ours with severe food allergies. The overall experience was great.

R&R Catering did our farm wedding last weekend and I would highly recommend them. We found their prices to be comparable with others but more bang for your buck. It's the little things that I found people charge you for and when R&R didn't - I appreciated that. They did a tasting with us so that we could taste everything that would be served at the wedding.

On the big day, my new hubby and I were greeted with food when we were taking pictures and then they had a plate ready for us when we were ready to eat at the reception. I've had several guests mentioned that they enjoyed the food as well.

My coordinator was Heather and I appreciated her help throughout the process. She really took that extra step to make sure everything would go just as planned. The staff who were in charge on the day should also get Kudos as there wasn't anything left behind.

I am so thankful that our venue (Rock Hill Plantation House) recommended this caterer to us for our big day. The catering ended up being about half of our total wedding expense, but let me tell you it was WORTH IT. The food is AMAZING, second to none. We had an open bar, cocktail hour, buffet style dinner and a carving station - did I mention the food is AMAZING??? We worked with Anne at R&R and she was so incredibly sweet, and very flexible in working with us. We live far away from the venue and even further away from R&R, but she was willing to take personal time to meet with us to remit payment when it was convenient for us and even made suggestions during our tasting that were beneficial to us cost-wise that would have made R&R a little more money had she not shared. R&R's relationship with Rock Hill Plantation House is also second to none - you totally understand why the venue utilizes a list of preferred vendors because they truly know how to work together! They had our tables and linens set up in no time so decorations could be set up, and after the party was over they boxed everything up and had it all ready to go so we and our guests didn't have to worry about anything. They went out of their way to provide my husband and I with our favorite moscato for toasting, and they loaded us up with TONS of leftovers, which we were so grateful for because we hardly got a chance to eat anything during the actual event! My mouth still waters thinking about the delicious food we had at the wedding. The entire staff present was incredibly sweet and friendly - I had to go give every one of them a hug after the reception ended because I was thankful and they did such an awesome job. If you want your guests talking for days about how awesome the food is at your wedding, R&R is definitely the caterer to choose.

R&R was AMAZING & FABULOUS! From the wide variety of choices to the fabulous communication with Rachael Lincoln to the beautiful linens and all the rentals we needed, it was such a wonderful and painless experience. Rachael was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. Additionally, if I wasn't sure about pairings, she always knew what to put together without fail. Everyone complimented the food we had and the service was excellent.

Rachel at R&R Catering is a fantastic person and a reliable professional. She also had excellent suggestions and enthusiasm for my vision. I appreciated her constant communication and efficiency. My wife and I used R&R Catering for our wedding reception on January 2nd and we couldn't have been happier! Natalie S. was our event designer and she was absolutely fantastic to work with! First, the food was great! All of our guests commented that they really enjoyed the selections. R&R's menu has many many choices and we were able to tailor our reception to our preferences and that of our guests. The price was also very reasonable considering the high quality of the food.

Natalie was very helpful from all aspects. She helped us pick our linens and china, and coordinated our selections with our florist. She was very responsive through email, text, and calls for anything we needed. She even gave us advice and recommendations for other non-catering aspects of our wedding and gave us tips on how to save money.

The service at our reception was also top notch! All in all our experience with R&R was fantastic. My wife and wouldn't have changed a thing about our catering and we highly recommend R&R for brides and grooms to-be!

We sent our (modest) budget to the venue’s list of preferred vendors and R&R was not only one of the few to respond, but were the only caterer who actually showed interest in our event. R&R were amazing during the entire process and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky that they were a part of our wedding.
Rachael was our main contact and was fantastic every step of the way. She resolved every issue that arose and answered our many questions. Her response time was always fast, usually getting back to us within a few hours or less. Her tone was always supportive and happy.
We bought the alcohol and mixers, and Rachael looked over our list to make sure we wouldn’t run out.
On the wedding day the catering crew arrived early, quickly unloading their truck and all the alcohol from ours. The crew was professional and attentive, and the bartenders were engaging and very friendly with our guests. During cocktail hour, the line formed quickly but the bartenders efficiently moved people through.
After we had four last minute cancellations, Rachael helped us change the floor plan to reduce one of our table sizes literally 2 hours before everything started. She took a note and made it happen without blinking an eye. Although Rachael was our pre-event coordinator, Coco was in charge of the staff during the actual event. The transition was seamless from our point of view as Coco was every bit as helpful and informed of the event planning as Rachael.
Without asking, we had tons of people tell us the food was great and we were very happy with it. We had pecan chicken, mashed potatoes and beef medallions.
We had a partially Jewish wedding, and they were very familiar with and happy to meet our requests about setting up challah for each of our 15 tables, and special menu needs.
We were so pleased and would highly recommend them if you want a vendor that will make your experience great and lessen your stress during your planning process and during your big day!

Omg!!!! Talk about mind blowing!! The food was THE BOMB!!!! BEST FOOD EVER!!!! I wish it was just a restaurant so I can order dinner and lunches all the time! Rachael and her team at R&R delivered on something I didn’t think was possible for our wedding: a lechon (Filipino roasted pig). For that alone, R&R deserves perfect marks in my book, but they were near flawless everywhere else. Rachael and her team were responsive and accommodating throughout our planning process. Not only were they fielding questions and requests from the bride and groom but from both mothers as well. R&R took care of every request we collectively had and perfectly captured the “American South meets Filipino Comfort Food” style we were going after. There is no better endorsement than our guests still raving more than a month later about the food, and that credit goes to Rachael and R&R.

I got married close to three months ago, and I still haven't stopped hearing compliments about the food from my wedding. I worked with Martha Peterson who was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make good recommendations regarding linens and the type of food I should have. She's such a sweetheart and I can't say enough good things about her.

Good food was something we really wanted and not the typical wedding food. I'm a wedding photographer and had worked with R&R for a bunch of weddings and each time their food was exceptional. Their cost was reasonable and I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal.

I cannot say enough great things about R&R. From the very beginning at first contact until the very end after the last guest arrived, R&R was on the ball. They worked through all the food and contract details with us, the walk through was a wonderful experience that helped calm me down as I was starting to get worried (I'm typically on the ball, but Lisa had some questions/thoughts which I hadn't even considered). We had a minor snafu with the venue, which they helped navigate us through. R&R truly went above and beyond and the food was fantastic! They know how to run catering at a wedding and do it in a nice, elegant manner.

Their food is amazing, and they have so many varieties and tastes that you are bound to find something you love!!

They have mac n cheese...yep, that is correct! Not just your typical mac n cheese, they have mac n cheese that comes with different toppings that you can put on it to make it something even more delicious!! It is amazingly good!!

Their service is amazing and they will do everything they can to cater to your needs. You cannot go wrong with R&R!!!

The wedding was a great success due in no small part to the catering and other services provided by R&R Catering. Martha was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Costs were reasonable, the meal was outstanding and service was top notch. We received many compliments from family and guests (about 150 attended) regarding the professional execution of the cocktail hour and the reception.

We are so glad we selected R&R Catering for our wedding. They were absolutely wonderful every step of the way, from planning to the wedding day. Our wedding guests raved about the food - we had a plated meal which include two entree selections, two sides, and a salad. It was a HUGE plate of food, and absolutely delicious. A truly spectacular value. R&R also took care of all of our rentals - tables, chairs, linens, etc. There were many options to choose from when it came to food, linens, chairs, and Natalie was extremely helpful when we were making decisions. Natalie was also EXTREMELY responsive and professional. We would receive responses from her almost immediately via email. She really knows her stuff!

We would not hesitate to recommend R&R Catering to future brides and grooms. We could not have been more thrilled with the service we received from them!!!

We are so grateful for R&R, and especially Anne Portell, who we worked with throughout the entire 18-month engagement. Our seated dinner was so good. Because the food is mainly prepared offsite, I was honestly expecting some of the food to not be perfect. A little cold, even. But nope. It was. so. good. We ordered a salmon and filet mignon duo plated entree and each portion was like butter and just melted in your mouth. We still have not stopped receiving compliments from guests about how good the food was.

R&R did a wonderful job for our wedding. I worked specifically with Martha Peterson, who was personable, helpful, and understanding of our requests. They worked with us to tweak their menu a bit to give us exactly what we were looking for. Also, they were very understanding of things that we wanted to bring in ourselves!

The food was TO DIE FOR. Seriously, everything was delicious. Our guests ranted and raved about it.

Dianna from R and R Catering handled my account and she was so wonderful throughout the process. R and R is top notch and my guests will be talking about the food for years to come. We had so much food, our guests were FULL and happy. R and R is also extremely flexible. We were able to provide all of our own alcohol and hire their bartenders and use their mixers/garnishes. There isn't any nickle and diming you with R and R, everything is worth every penny. The highlight of our wedding was our cocktail hour. We had a pasta station, raw bar and passed hors d'oeuvres. They actually have someone on staff who can shuck oysters, now that is impressive!

They handled all of our place settings, table cloths, set up, decorations, favors and so much more! They will help you to make your dream wedding a reality.

My wedding was on 9/6/14 and R&R was fantastic. Their food, customer service and timeliness were all amazing. They gave great recommendations when I was overwhelmed with the all of the decisions that needed to be made, which made things a lot easier on me! They made sure my wedding party got food and drinks during the cocktail hours after pictures as well as made sure my husband and I had full plates and cups during the reception. I love R&R! They did cocktail hour and buffet dinner catering for my wedding at the Atrium for almost a third of the price of what the in-house caterer would have cost, and all our guests raved about the food! Natalie Seng, our Event Designer, was also a dream to work with - super responsive, very experienced, and always willing to talk through ideas and offer her own suggestions if we needed them! She even had some great ideas for what we could do if our outdoor ceremony got rained out and her calm, collected demeanor helped reassure us throughout the process. They were also responsible for linens and set up of all the ceremony and reception furniture/items - everything looked amazing! I really couldn't have hoped for better and highly recommend R&R!

We are very pleased with our choice with R&R catering! Our event designer was Martha, and I can not express how absolutely fabulous she is! She is kind, prompt with responses and getting new info to her clients, helpful when brainstorming, and she is honest about what she thinks will work and not work with your venue and catering plan. Her expertise was greatly appreciated. R&R had the best price and best value in our opinion. Their food was good, their price was reasonable, they have a large selection of linens, a decent selection of standard choices for plate/silverware settings and more options for upgrades! Martha was awesome about setting up 2 tastings for us, and accommodating guests for the tasting as well. We live out of town, and she was really generous about her time and arranging meetings that worked for our limited time available.
The service the night of was fantastic! We had Norma as our supervisor, and she was awesome! The second the bridal party was available after ceremony and pictures, she was right there with hors d'oeuvres and took drink orders. She served my husband and I from the buffet, and kept coming back to make sure us and the bridal party had all the drinks and everything else we needed. All the bartenders and wait staff were attentive and fast! Also, they kept telling my guests that one of the hors d'oeuvres was lamb and not duck.
We even had an outside dish from an outside vendor that they accommodated. They honored all of my requests, and were just amazing. They did not disappoint!

We got married on July 5, 2014 and R&R Catering did an awesome job making our day perfect! Anne was very responsive from the beginning - we knew we were going to book with R&R from the day we had our personal tasting appointment! My husband and I contacted three different caterers during our planning process - one was immediately marked off the list when they did not return calls or e-mails after two weeks. We were on a budget; however, we knew food was not an area we wanted to hold back on - we didn't want boring "wedding food". R&R initially seemed a little higher in cost but after comparing between the two companies, the cost was actually very reasonable. Anne got to know us and made recommendations and catered to what was important to us. Everything turned out perfect! My fiance and I picked R&R via a recommendation from our venue. We first compared them "apples to apples" with two other caterers and found them to have the best pricing. The added bonus was that they were a PHENOMENAL company to work with. Anne was our coordinator and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She was professional, accommodating, understanding, responsive, and just an overall genuinely nice person. One night, I was trying to figure out last minute guest numbers and I texted her probably around 10:30 that night asking for her help. She called me right back and talked to me probably for a good half hour until everything was settled. During our tasting, we didn't care for the way the chicken was cooked (as a roulade) so she suggested just baking it so the meat was even more tender. The food the day of the wedding was absolutely incredible. It was hot, presented well, delicious, and we got tons of compliments from our guests. R&R handled all of our rentals--linens, tables, chivari chairs, etc.--and it all looked perfect. Every detail was honestly better than I ever could have imagined. I would absolutely recommend R&R (and Anne!!) to a future bride.

We just had our son's wedding and R&R catering did a fantastic job. The food was delicious and was very budget friendly. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course. They were great to work with even accommodating our request for a mini philly cheese steak for our family and friends from the South Jersey area. Everyone was on board to make it a great night. The servers were awesome , friendly and efficient. Every member of the staff ( the owner was even there) helped to make sure it was all flawless. We had a wonderful evening and the food was awesome!! My husband and I were on a limited budget for our wedding but as food-lovers, didn't want to pay thousands of dollars for standard chicken and steak. We gave R&R several ideas for heavy hors d'oeuvres (pulled pork sliders, strawberry bruschetta, etc) and they exceeded our expectations at the tasting and especially at our event. Anne and Heather were wonderful to work with and were very responsive when we had questions. They truly helped us make the reception a reflection of who we are. We couldn't have done it without R&R!

Martha and her team and R&R catering were by far the most helpful group of people I used for my wedding. Martha was available for me whenever I had a question, and dealt gracefully with them, never showing any frustration or shortness with me, which I truly appreciated! She helped me visualize the seating area during a visit to the venue and brought up many small details that I wouldn't have thought about on my own. She was a pleasure to work with and truly a joy. She couldn't be at my reception on the day of but she appointed Diana and Diana was checking in on me and my groom all reception long to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was running smoothly. The food was fantastic! We got so many compliments on it! I highly recommend the pecan chicken and the vegetable tortellini! Fantastic overall!!!

Martha and Norma were beyond fantastic! They decorated before our event and the place looked stunning! They took my vision and went above and beyond in executing it. We had a buffet and the food was delicious! All our guests raved about it. Their service was even better than the food, though. They served my grandparents so they wouldn't have to walk to the buffet. Norma even helped bustle my dress! She was going around the dance floor putting glow stick necklaces and bracelets on everyone and refilling drinks for the groom and I. They constantly had a smile on their face and I never saw them stop moving! Thank you so much for making my day a dream come true! It would not have been as wonderful as it was without Martha and Norma. Their services were worth every penny!

We used R&R Catering for our Rehearsal Dinner on July 4, 2014 - and they were awesome! Martha was super attentive and responsive throughout all of the planning. She helped us select a menu that suited our event perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious, we ate everything! She even offered her suggestions for the linens/decor to make it a fun 4th of July rehearsal. The R&R staff was super friendly and made sure everything was out on time and all of our needs were met. The bartender was fabulous too! We would absolutely recommend them to our friends and family for their events, and we will certainly use them again. Thank you R&R!

R&R was great to work with, and best of all, the food they provided was actually GOOD. Many guests commented on the quality of the food! My mother even asked for the leftovers so she could distribute them--the biggest compliment of all!

The day of the wedding, they were professional and everything flowed seamlessly. To me, that's the mark of true professionals--you don't even realize they're there.

Working with Dianna at R&R was a great experience. She really knows her stuff and was able to help us choose a menu perfect for our special day. Dianna was so attentive to my husband and I on the day of, making sure we had food, drinks and anything else we needed.

Our guests raved about the food! You will not be disappointed with anything you choose!

R&R also has the best prices in the DC area. A friend recommended them to me and I'm so glad I listened. For any parties I have in the future I will look to R&R for my catering needs. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were beyond thrilled with our wedding day, in large part because of all of the hard work Rachael and R & R did leading up to it. We've received many compliments on the food, the ice cream bar, and service.

Rachael answered many, many questions prior to the wedding thoroughly and promptly. She helped us choose a kosher style menu, answered questions about our venue, and even worked with our other vendors to create a floor plan.

On the day of our wedding, Maritza, Rachael, and the rest of the team were so pleasant and easy to work with! R & R truly went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure that our wedding day went smoothly.

My husband and I chose R&R Catering mainly because they had such a large menu. We ended up going with the fajita buffet and the quesadilla station from their Poncho's menu and we chose their ice cream sundae bar for dessert instead of cake. We thought the food was delicious and several of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had!

The event designer that I worked with - Natalie - was incredibly responsive. We met a few times in person and she was always quick to respond to emails. She also came out to our venue in Leesburg from their Springfield office so that we could walk through the layout of everything.

I would absolutely recommend R&R to any couple.

R&R Catering was fantastic from start to finish for our June 2014 reception! I first looked into them based on the huge number of positive reviews here. I really liked that their menus included prices upfront. They worked with our budget and the contract was very clear. The food was great--we had a BBQ menu and pies for dessert! Their service on the day was also very good. They allowed us to provide our own alcohol. Our contact, Anne, was very responsive, especially as we got closer to the day. I would highly recommend R&R! They have such a variety of food and options that you're sure to get what you want.

DELICIOUS FOOD! We wanted unconventional wedding food that was something we really enjoyed eating. We chose BBQ. Anne Portell (such a great event designer- prompt and helpful) made us a custom menu and everything was absolutely delicious. :) The service was also really great! Nancy packed us up some meals to eat after the wedding. Two days later and the mac & cheese is still to die for.

R&R Catering did an amazing job on our reception food and cocktail food. My guests continue to compliment the friendliness of their staff during our wedding, the plenty of drinks available, the fun mashed potatoes bar (totally recommend), and all the yummy food, especially the crabcakes and their beef. Majority of the guests were able to go back for seconds as well, and myself and my groom had our own waitresses that were very sweet and ensured we had something to eat. Kudos to designer Lisa Kelman who did a beautiful job on setup and was very easy to work with, I'd recommend her if you are able to choose the designer! Thank you again R&R!

Natalie was a great person to work with. She was fast to respond to all of my questions and edits to my contract. I got every thing I asked for at a great price! She was extremely helpful in the planning process and worked great with my venue. The food was so good (beyond words). I got so many compliments on how good the food was! (We had Parm Chicken, Veggie Tortellini, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Crab Dip all of the above was spectacular!) The staff was so nice and accommodating during the reception and they packed everything up for me to take home and the food reheated nicely (which was great because I didn't get to eat much the night of the wedding). I would recommend them for any catering occasion!

Having used R&R Catering for work events, I knew the quality of service was going to be excellent, but had no idea how creative they could be with wedding menus. From heavy apps to pasta bar, they had everything we needed for our reception, and the service was exceptional. Dianna and Lisa were both incredibly thorough throughout the whole process, and the linens and table settings were gorgeous. I would definitely recommend them for professionalism, variety, and excellent service.

We worked with Rachael from R&R Catering for our wedding and she made the entire experience easy, stress free and delicious for us. We were blown away at the tasting and they made setting up the contract simple. They worked with us to come up with a menu that fit the needs of us and our guests, to include the vegetarians and vegans in attendance. R&R provided us with superb quality food and table settings at an amazing price. You know that you've selected the correct caterer when your guests start trying to find you to tell you that the food is amazing and they want to use the caterer for events they're having themselves. We were told on a few dozen occasions that this was far better than the "normal" wedding food the guests had been expecting.
Not only were they on top of the entire reception, they were also taking care prior to the ceremony to ensure that the bridal party and me and my new husband were getting food and drinks whenever we were hungry or thirsty. I have worked with a few caterers in the past and R&R was head and shoulders above the rest. I recommend this caterer for any event you are planning.

We worked with Anne at R&R Catering, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Anne was very responsive to our emails, quickly accommodated us for a free tasting (delicious!), and was very helpful in putting together quotes. Their quotes have everything itemized (food, beverage, wait staff, linens, etc.), so it is very easy to understand where your money is going and where you can cut back if you need to fit into your budget. Their food and alcohol package prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of food we were getting. Anne was super helpful with our endless questions, and I would highly recommend working with her.

R&R had the venue set up 15 minutes early and we were very pleased that our guests were able to get inside and settled, as our ceremony at the church had ended 20 minutes earlier than we planned. We did the elegant dinner buffet and had tons of leftovers to bring home with us. We were very impressed with the wait staff, bartenders, and supervisor, who all ensured that our guests were having a good time and being taken care of. We received several compliments from our guests noting the amazing service provided. The supervisor personally served me and the groom by bringing us our meals, refilling our beverage glasses, and keeping the event moving along. Overall, we were very impressed with R&R from the beginning of the planning process through the end of the event, and we would highly recommend them.

R&R Catering was absolutely fabulous. Many of our guests complimented the food and talked about how good it was. Catering was important to us and we wanted to make sure we had good quality food to offer our guests. They did not disappoint. We would also like to compliment them on their amazing service and employees. We were greeted with smiles, everyone was extremely helpful, and made sure we had everything we asked for. Natalie Seng was our event planner from R & R. She helped us make great decisions about food and decoration. She was managing on site, making sure things went smoothly, and she did an amazing job of it. The waiting staff was professional and on point. R&R Catering did a fantastic job providing food for our wedding. From the very beginning, working with Rachael, our experience was positive. Their staff was timely and responsive, and helpful in planning our wedding. The food on the day of our wedding was delicious, but the best part was their attentiveness. Rachael and her staff made sure some of the elderly people were all taken care of with drinks, food, and anything else they needed, which we thought was going above and beyond! They also were helpful in having plates of food ready for us right away, since they knew we would soon need to go mingle with guests. Our main point of contact, Natalie, was thorough, organized and thoughtful-- everything you would want from your caterer. Natalie's staff handled our entire ceremony, reception, set up and everything in between. Our guests had raving reviews about the food, the kindness of the staff and I can easily say I felt like a princess the ENTIRE evening as well as the whole way leading up to the event.

Natalie felt like a friend by the end of my wedding and I'm definitely sad that it came to an end!

R&R Catering is the best! Their food is delicious, we got SO MANY compliments! Martha was our contact with the caterer and she was so incredibly accommodating to our requests. We did make a couple special requests and they were able to fulfill everything we asked for at no extra cost.
I could not be happier with the flavor of the food and the plating was beautiful as well! I would recommend R&R Catering to any bride, you will not be let down!!!

R & R catering did a fabulous job catering our wedding. It was a brunch wedding, and the selection was fabulous. Everyone commented on how good the food was. Stephanie and Natalie were great to work with and responsive to all our questions. The walk through at the venue was perfect and the set up was amazing. The also took down everything quickly and left the venue clean.

Natalie at R&R was fantastic. I had very little time to plan our wedding - starting from UK.

I'd contacted 10 caterers (preferred professionals of my venue), very quickly took that down to 5, but all along, R&R outshone the rest. They were the first caterers I contacted having loved their website (one of the only that gives an idea of pricing from the outset) and Natalie was so warm and friendly throughout many many emails.

When we finally met (2 weeks before the wedding, nothing booked yet) she gave me a big hug as if we'd known each other for years! Now this may sound awkward, but I'm not a particularly hugging type of person, but it was very welcome!

We had a wonderful tasting - the food was incredible. We then decided on all our linens & flatware. She also very close to the date hired a cake stand and an additional highchair for me!

Natalie went above & beyond and everyone loved our wedding food. We had a buffet & it was, in my opinion, perfect!

We hired R&R Catering to cater our 150 guest wedding. We worked with Dianna who was WONDERFUL. We opted to do the family style menu which was awesome! The food was served on giant platters that were passed around the table so everyone could have as much as they wanted without doing a buffet and having people get up for their food. We had three entrees and two sides. There was a TON of food leftover! Everyone raved about the meal. The linens and plates were included in the package. We also did a cocktail hour with three passed appetizers and two stationary appetizers. They have an extensive menu to choose from. I'd recommend R&R to anyone! Thanks, Dianna!

Anne Portell was my Event Designer for the fabulous food we had at our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Anne was most accommodating and enjoyable to work with while we planned for these two special meals. R & R Catering provided the perfect table settings from linens to garnished toast glasses, elegant cake service as well as the lovely meal and hors d' oeuvres. The staff members were all extremely professional and friendly and made sure all my guests had everything they wanted. I would definitely recommend hiring this caterer for all your wedding celebration meals!
