AMAZING! If you want a beautiful and stress free wedding day, choose Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten

Amazing to work with! Completely blew my expectations out of the water. I know a lot of brides have a specific vision of what they want and I had a general idea but nothing concrete. We met with Sherry and she helped bring our general idea to a full blown plan - definitely a benefit to working with absolute professionals. Everything was either delivered directly to us on the wedding day or set up for us, we didn't have to lift a finger. The bouquets were GORGEOUS. They decorated our church, our cake, our signs, our venue, all of our tables, everything. I even asked (very last minute) if they would decorate these brick pillars that were in our venue and they immediately jumped on it. If you want a florist that is incredibly creative and knowledgeable and someone you can trust to execute on your special day - go with Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten. Very easy to communicate with and bounce ideas of off. I'll be recommending them to all of my friends and family for any event they have going forward.

excellent service

We used Blumengarten for our wedding on 10/3/2025 at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. We had a great experience working with them. The bride's mother did most of the communication with Sherry and had a very easy time working with her. We went for minimal flowers since the wedding was at a Botanic Garden and Blumengarten was able to accommodate our request unlike other vendors that had $6k minimums. We had bride/bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnières and simple garland/flowers/candles on tables. We provided inspiration photos and color choices and Blumengarten created beautiful bouquets based on these. I would highly recommend them for all your floral needs.

Everything I dreamed of

I planned my wedding at Phipps long distance. Sherry was absolutely amazing to work with through the quoting, designing, and finally wedding day pickup. I had some vague ideas of what I wanted, and some were a little random. Sherry helped me narrow down what I liked about my examples to make the perfect arrangements for our day. She even helped with ideas for memorials for the parents who are no longer with us; she had a better idea than mine, but cross-country travel in January didn't allow that to work out.

Beautiful Winter Wedding Flowers

Sherry at the Blumengarten was so easy to work with! During our initial consultation, we explained what we wanted and sent a few inspo pictures and they really hit the mark! They permitted modifications up to three weeks before the wedding. I had added a few arrangements that were not included in our original proposal. Closer to our wedding date, I realized we were well over budget, so we had to pull back a bit. I greatly appreciated the last minute changes to stay closer to our budget and how flexible they were with my indecisiveness leading up to then! They arrived at the venue when they said they would and they even pinned the boutonnieres. Everything went smoothly. Truly, all the bouquets and centerpieces were so beautiful. But the arrangement on the mantle was the star! It was gorgeous.

Awesome Florist!

When booking a florist for your wedding, you essentially tell them what you want and hope on the day of that the image in your mind is what shows up. Blumengarten honestly did such a fantastic job of bringing my image to life, an image I'm not even sure I knew how to describe to them. My bouquets were stunning and I'm still obsessed with how beautiful they turned out! Blumengarten is great with communication throughout the whole process and I would 100% recommend every time!

Excellent Wedding Florist!

We used Jim Blumengarten for our November 2022 wedding and can't say enough things about our experience! In the initial meeting, they were so helpful in understanding our vision for the wedding and the styles, color schemes, etc. that we desired. And the floral arrangements that they were provided were exactly what we desired! They helped make our church, our tables, our wedding party and most importantly us (the bride and groom) look absolutely perfect. And on top of the beauty of the flowers was how easy the Blumengarten team was to work with. Total professionals at every step of the way. Whereas we figured we'd have to help coordinate things with the various venues and locations, instead all we had to do was give the Blumengarten team the info and they took it from there. Working with them on the wedding day was such a comfort--you knew you were in the presence of seasoned veterans at this and they were well-prepared to make our day great (they even provided a valuable lesson in the proper way to pin a boutonniere). Highly recommend Jim Blumengarten for your wedding day!

Highly recommend!!

Blumengarten did a fantastic job! The bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids were gorgeous and JUST what I wanted, and they even cut the stems on my long-stem bridal bouquet to exactly what I wanted even after the arrived, which was extremely kind and considerate! Our centerpieces and ceremony florals we’re also STUNNING and the perfect picture of the simple elegance I was looking for. It all added so much class to our day, I highly recommend them!!

Budget-Friendly & Beautiful

We worked with Sherry from Blumengarten and she was phenomenal! We originally didn't want flowers at all, but after visiting the website and seeing the rave reviews, we decided to connect with Sherry. From the get go, she was up front about pricing, colors, and incredibly responsive. When I saw our bouquets and boutonnieres, I was blown away. Walking into the venue and seeing the ceremony arch floral had my jaw on the floor. Everything was simply stunning, smelled amazing, and didn't cost me a fortune. Blumengarten was recommended to us by Day of Pittsburgh, our day-of coordinator, and we were so pleased with the flowers we got for our wedding day. I don't know much about flowers, so I gave them all of the details about our wedding and our colors and put my trust in them - we were not disappointed! Easy to work with, gorgeous flowers

Blumengarten made everything super easy. We met with them once to show photos of what we wanted and go over everything, got the digital proposal, and were all set. We were able to easily add, remove, and adjust things up until a little over a month out with no problem. In fact it was SO easy and minimal work that I was a little worried about what we would get, but everything was perfect and gorgeous on the wedding day. Staff was already there and setting up by the time we arrived with everything waiting for us and to help the guys with boutonnieres.

Wonderful Experience Working With Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten Florist!

I highly recommend Ludwig's Blumengarten Florist as a source for your wedding flowers. We worked with Sherry and she did a superb job helping my daughter Sarah select gorgeous flower combinations which were used for bouquets, centerpieces, and the ceremony backdrop. Not only is Sherry a wonderfully talented floral designer - she was also very easy to work with - accommodating, flexible, and always got back to us in a timely fashion. The colors and combinations of textures and patterns Sarah selected were like the colors of the sunset and they were beautiful shades of cream, pinks, soft oranges, red, and blue greens - - the garden roses, lisianthus, spray roses, ranunculus, tulips, wax flowers, and eucalyptus looked so pretty with the bridesmaid's dresses, which were shades of the sunset, as well! The flowers also looked great at the venue, which was an old historic building on the North Side of Pittsburgh with gorgeous exposed red brick and lots of character! The flowers themselves were in great shape when we got them - they were beautiful and healthy and they lasted for several days after the wedding! We received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on the flowers - they were truly one of the highlights - they made a beautiful event even more beautiful! I am sure if you choose Bluemgarten Florist for your wedding, you will have a similar experience!

Shop Local and be very happy!

This is the second time we have used Blumengarten for wedding flowers. The first time was for our niece’s wedding in October 2020 and this time for my wedding in Jan2022. When first shopping for personal flowers for these weddings, we found that many large florists charged a minimum regardless of what was needed and how many people in the wedding party. At Blumengarten, the team was very accommodating and was more interested in making beautiful artistic arrangements that we wanted, regardless of what we were going to ultimately spend. We showed them pictures of what we had in mind and the consultant (Sherry) made suggestions and ultimately created exactly what we wanted. Communication between visits was spot on as well with everyone answering the phone there always pleasant and helpful. On wedding day, a representative (Brian) showed up well before the ceremony to place the pedestals and vases on the stage, the decorative flowers on the cake and pin the personal flowers on the men. The ladies flowers were left in vases with water until the ceremony. Brian was very personable and did not rush us.Extra flowers that were to go on the cake were beautifully arranged on the sweetheart table.
This is a local vendor and I highly recommend

I can't thank them enough for my flowers! They were responsive and efficient from the first day I reached out. I had to change things a few times and never once did any of the staff seem irritated and were always happy to help.

The flowers were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. My bouquet was everything I had envisioned and then some! They all looked so beautiful. The ceremony flowers and the reception décor flowers were perfection. Affordable and Great To Work With

I highly recommend Jim Ludwig's to any bride. Through three re-plannings and a postponement they were amazing to work with. Love love loved working with Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten so much that we plan to work with them again next year for our 1 year celebration! Like so many couples during this time, we downsized our wedding to just 13 people from 180+ and changed locations! I worked with Sherry who was very receptive to the theme/ideas i had for our original planned wedding (which we'll do next year fingers crossed). She was also super flexible when we did decide to downsize and change what we wanted in terms of florals. I also last minute decided to do a flower crown which ended up stealing the show! I highly recommend if you're looking for a florist.

Amazing florist to work with!

Jim Ludwig's made all of my wedding dreams come true. The process truly was flawless and so easy! I simply uploaded photos of my dream bouquets to their website and went in to meet with Rachel the wedding coordinator. Rachel went over the design process with me and explained everything thoroughly. I also knew I wanted to purchase flowers in bulk to create my own centerpieces, and they were so easy to work with on that. They truly created a beautiful bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets, and the cost was truly so affordable. I also love that this has been a family-owned business for many years! I trusted them 100% and they made the process so easy and flawless-- there was literally nothing to stress or worry about. The flowers were fresh and beautiful, and lasted for several days after the wedding! Thank you all for making my dream wedding bouquet come to life.

Perfect bouquet

Wedding Cancel :-(

We worked with Blumengarten for our wedding on 3/21/2020 - as you can all guess - we ended up canceling the event entirely. Tim was gracious and kind as we worked to minimize overall cost given the canceled event. In the end, he charged us a small portion of the original proposal for the flowers themselves that had already been ordered for the event. He also personally delivered our no longer necessary vases with two filled centerpieces, my bouquet, and a personal note of good wishes. The flowers are a beautiful bright spot in our home given the sadness of having to cancel our wedding. When this is all over and we reschedule, we will be working with them again!

Breathtaking Flowers

I could not recommend Blumengarten enough! We had met with several florists but nothing felt right until we met with Sherry. Not only did she listen to my ideas, but she also took time to send me pictures of arrangements when I didn't have an exact idea. She was extremely accommodating to changes I had made on several occasions.

On our wedding day, our flowers were absolutely stunning! I couldn't have been happier with how they turned out. Jim was also present at the church to make sure the boutonnieres were placed properly and everyone received their flowers. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Our flowers were wonderful. I went in with an idea of what we wanted and Sherry helped us transform that into something beautiful. She was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I don't know much about different kinds of flowers so she was extremely helpful when it came to putting flowers to the vision we had. They were great handing the flowers out the day of as well! We did boutineers, bouquets, centerpieces, and flowers on our arch. They were beautiful and lasted weeks after the wedding! I highly recommend them!

Perfect execution / Fair prices

We highly recommend this florist, and they came recommended from TWO brides who we know and trust. The pricing is incredibly fair and reasonable. We weren't looking for the cheapest; we wanted quality at a FAIR price and we got exactly that. Our consultant, Sherry, was respectful of our budget, and did not make us feel that our budget was too low or unmanageable. The Blumengarten provided the entire floral suite: bride & maid bouquets, boutonnieres, altar arrangements, pew decor, and centerpieces for the reception. The execution was perfection. Communication was fast & reliable, deliveries were on time to all of our various locations, and the florals were mature and beautiful. As a bride who went in without a "vision," Sherry was so perceptive and patient in working with me to determine and execute the appropriate vision. If you're more hands off, you can take your details to Sherry and trust her to take care of the rest. She's a true pro, with experience and an eye for style and design. We got so many compliments on the bouquets and arrangements, and this bride did not break the budget or come to tears during the planning process. Thanks for treating us like family!

My bouquet was absolutely beautiful ❤ I had a general idea what I wanted and Blumengarten exceeded my expectations. Sherry made the process super easy with scheduling a consultation and deciding what to do for my wedding flowers. They offered to deliver and set up my flowers and I am glad I chose this option. I can not express how happy we are with the Wedding Flowers Blumengarten prepared for my daughter's wedding on Friday. We had a fun experience coming into the shop to discuss what my daughter wanted in her wedding flowers. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for flowers that would fit my daughter's ideas and our budget. My husband said the flowers were all ready to go at pick up time on the wedding day. Fantastic experience!

Absolutely stunning floral arrangements!

We used Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten as the florist for our wedding day and could not have had a better experience. As someone who was not interested in tons of flowers and tall vases, Sherry completely changed my mind! From our first meeting she truly listened to my interests and expectations and she was wonderful. She chose the most perfect flowers and created full, beautiful bouquets and small/tall vases for all of the tables. She worked with our budget and the flower arrangements she put together were absolutely stunning. Even upon returning from our honeymoon, a week later, the flowers were still gorgeous. Blumengarten made our wedding day so special and Sherry did such an incredible job. I highly recommend!

Perfect, even from long-distance!

I live in the Harrisburg, PA area, but got married in Pittsburgh. Needing a local florist who could take my suggestions, input, and payments remotely was important. Not only that, but the folks at Blumengarten were extremely responsive to my questions and input. I sent some inspiration photos from Pinterest and they turned them into reality on the day of. They took the tailored material from my dress (that I mailed them) and wrapped it around my bouquet and took the time to thread on a charm I wanted added on-site. All at a great price point. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Everything we asked for- and more!

My husband and I really wanted something minimalistic, chic and clean for our wedding. Jim and his team were amazing! Since we don't know much about flowers and greens, they helped us by suggesting the best options to fulfill our vision. Originally we had thought we wanted full garlands of eucalyptus to wind around the candles that we wanted to be the focal point of our table settings. Jim was so helpful, telling us that if his team hand placed all of the greens on the table it would be more appealing, appear more full and just a better option so that it would incorporate the candles instead of just sitting around them- I really appreciate a vendor that will take my vision and suggest improvements since I'm not a professional. As for my bouquet- WOW. I really wanted something unique and I could only explain the vision in my head-and THEY DELIVERED. I was presented with a bouquet of beautiful light pink HUGE garden roses that were strategically and intricately placed in order to stand apart from one another but just look like I had picked up a bushel of roses right out of the garden. I was blown away. The communication was effortless and clear- something I appreciated since I planned my entire wedding myself. They were very accommodating (and early!) with delivery and set up time for the wedding. They really blew us away. Thank you for everything!

Blumengartens did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! I only wanted to spend around $1000 all together on my flowers for the wedding and they were able to show me what I could get for that price and actually even kept it under that price! I was able to get centerpieces for all of my tables as well as 6 bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquets. I chose to pick up my flowers because I didn’t want to pay an extra delivery fee and they were very professional and timely with my order. I arrived two days before my wedding and they had everything ready to go for me and gave me instructions on how to keep them alive until the wedding. Everything looked perfect on the day of the wedding. I’d definitely recommend them!

I can not even begin to explain how wonderful Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten was for my 11/25/17 wedding!! In the early stages of planning my wedding, I had an very unpleasant initial consultation with a different local florist that left me quite discouraged about my wedding flowers. But after reading positive reviews of Jim Ludwig's, I decided to make an appointment with them. From the moment I sat down with Bob to discuss my wedding vision and my budget, he totally understood my style, he intently listened to all of my requests (I was extremely particular!), he was so sweet and kindhearted, and he was extremely creative and professional. He was able to answer every single question I had about my wedding flowers and was even able to give me excellent suggestions of how we could stay within my budget but also maintain the "look" I wanted for my wedding flowers. Bob even gave me and my mom a tour of their facility - we were so excited to see their huge walk-in refrigerator with hundreds and hundreds of the most beautiful flowers inside! I left our initial consultation with Bob feeling so confident that my flowers would be beautiful and within my budget, and that Jim Ludwig's would take great care of me. Bob and the entire staff at Jim Ludwig's answered every one of my calls and emails promptly and with such kindness - they really went the extra mile during my wedding planning to make sure I had zero concerns about my flowers. Bob even did a mockup of my reception centerpieces a few months before our wedding so that I could see exactly what our centerpieces would look like. For my wedding, they did my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets, flower girl bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony arrangements, reception centerpieces, and other reception arrangements - all of the florals were absolutely beautiful and were exactly what I wanted. I didn't think it was possible to have such beautiful flowers with my budget, but that's exactly what Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten delivered!

From my first encounter over the phone with Sherry until the flowers were delivered on my wedding day, everything went so smoothly and the staff were very professional. I came in with a unique vision for all my bridesmaids and to have different flowers but the same colors and they worked so well to help achieve exactly what I wanted. When a hurricane threatened to change the delivery of my flowers a few days before the wedding, the staff contacted me and kept me updated without panic. They assured me I would have the highest quality and beautiful flowers, they were correct! The delivery the day of the wedding was on time and super friendly. He didn’t leave until everyone was settled and taken care of. Highly recommended!!

Blumengarten was wonderful!! At my consultation, I explained what I wanted and they captured my style perfectly! I would say an idea, and they would expand and make it better than I could imagine! I had emailed back and forth several times making changes to my order and they accommodated each request. On the day of the wedding, the delivery man was on time (he was even early!!) and was so friendly! They set up everything perfectly. The flowers exceeded every expectation! Sherry at Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten on Penn Ave in Pittsburgh was so helpful. I was looking for a wholesale florist for my flowers and found Jim Ludwig's website with their helpful calculator for flowers. The prices seemed more than reasonable so I scheduled an appointment with Sherry. She was so professional and so helpful in picking out flowers for my bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. I wanted my flowers to be pretty, but since I knew they wouldn't last long I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I was able to get beautiful, but simple bouquets at a very reasonable price and received so many compliments on the flowers!

Jim and his brother were so nice! I mainly emailed with Sherry, who through email came off as intimidating but was really nice! I'm Type A/OCD, and they weren't able to give me the timeline of when they'd be there as long before my wedding day as I had wanted, but they did give plenty of notice and all was fine! I had flowers delivered to two locations and logistics went completely well! They were very transparent about costs and always gave me the most up-to-date invoices (and I changed a few things throughout our engagement!). I loved my bouquet, and the bridesmaids' were perfect! We also had a few arrangements at the church, bouquet for Mary, boutonnieres, flowers on a comb for my mom and sisters, a nosegay for my mother-in-law, and corsages for the grandmas. At the reception, I had only wanted cake flowers, but then a month and a half before the wedding decided I wanted a few delicate flowers to be placed in wine bottles I provided at every table. They were so accommodating about the late addition, which was elegant and a lot more affordable than traditional table arrangements. Overall beautiful product, on time, at good cost, with great ownership and employees! Wouldn't have had it any other way!

Everyone I spoke to at Blumengarten was kind and easy to deal with. I met with Sherry and laid out a basic plan which I adjusted a few times. They made these adjustments with no complaints. The flowers arrived fresh and beautiful. They personally delivered each boutonniere and corsage. The bouquets were also delivered to myself and my bridesmaids still in water. They trimmed the stems, dried them and personally handed them to each of us. The customer service was extraordinary! And on New Years Eve! They also did our centerpieces which were beautiful! The wedding was 3 weeks ago now and I still keep getting text photos from guests showing me that the centerpieces they took home and still alive and gorgeous. I highly recommend them.

My daughter and I met with Sherry for our consultation. She listened carefully to our ideas and was so helpful in suggesting flowers that would fit with both the look we wanted and our budget. We ordered bouquets, bouts, wrist corsages for the oms and grandmothers, and arrangements for the ceremony area. Sherry was very flexible and made several changes to the order at our request. We also ordered bulk flowers which I picked up and arranged in Mason jars myself for the centerpieces--- this saved us quite a bit of money. Everything looked gorgeous. I highly recommend this florist. My bridesmaids and I did our own flowers (centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres) for my July 1, 2016 wedding, and ordered all the flowers site unseen from Jim’s Blumengarten. I spoke with their staff over the phone, explained what we were looking for, and just trusted that everything would be beautiful. The flowers we received more than exceeded my expectations: 300 of the most beautiful roses (plus 75 stems of white hypericum berries) I’ve ever seen, in exactly the right shades I’d requested. The prices were better than online wholesalers, I was able to pick them up the day before the wedding, and didn’t have to do anything to them other than give them a fresh cut and keep them in water until later that evening when we started arranging them. The whole process was easier and cheaper than buying them online, and I was able to support a local merchant (plus have stunning flowers on my wedding day). If you’re thinking about buying online, don’t waste your time and money. Jim’s Blumengarten is the way to go.

I had such a great experience with Blumengarten. From the personalized service that Sherry gave both over the phone and then in multiple emails. She was always understanding, helpful, and full of information to help guide me (a flower novice). I'm not sure who called for last minute check ins and questions but he was very pleasant and I really felt like he wanted me to have the best wedding. And I did.

I also asked for ribbons to trail down from the bouquets and I was really unsure of how it would turn out. But I could not be HAPPIER with how it turned out. They were beautiful, far better than the pictures I sent for reference.

Overall I couldn't be happier the service. Would recommend them to everyone in the area.

I did DIY bulk flowers, which you can email about. You have to arrange yourself, but it is extremely affordable! I got all the flowers for my wedding (bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, etc.) all for $200. The flowers are fresh and beautiful and lasted. Worked with Sherry to design our floral arrangements and bouquets - she was very easy to work with and understood my vision/offered great ideas/alternatives. The flowers were all delivered on time the day of our wedding and were absolutely gorgeous! Had a ton of compliments from guests (and from friends who saw pictures but didn't attend the wedding) especially on the tall centerpieces. Overall a great florist to work with and everything went very smoothly during the 9+ months we were in contract.

Jim and Sherry did an incredible job with the flowers for our wedding. They were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the whole process and were able to help navigate a last-minute change in the flowers that were received differing from what was ordered. Their communication was excellent and the end result was phenomenal. My bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets were so vibrant and so perfectly composed. Would absolutely trust them to compose arrangements for any occasion, particularly weddings. Superb!

They provided flowers for my wedding at the end of May at Phipps Conservatory and they did a fantastic job. Compared to many other florists I looked at downtown the prices were very reasonable. The staff I worked with (specifically Sherry) had wonderful suggestions and tips for how to keep the flowers simple with the gorgeous flowers we already had at Phipps. Everything was seamless the day of the wedding and the flowers were beautiful. Highly recommended!

Jim and his team provided the flowers for my April 18 wedding at the LeMont, and they were absolutely beautiful! Jim sat down with me to review the different flower types and create arrangements that were within my budget. The flowers were gorgeous upon arrival and they're still looking great several days later!

We were very pleased with Blumengarten for our wedding; we were looking for relatively simple flowers that wasn't very pricey; particularly since our church was donating our flowers to the local hospital after our ceremony and we were only really going to see them for 1-2 hours. Blumengarten put together a really beautiful altar arrangement that looked much, much more expensive than it actually cost. Our bridal party bouquets and corsages were lovely; and when their deliveryman arrived- the mother of the bride requested a pinned corsage instead of a wrist one, and he modified it for her on-site and at no additional cost. We were extremely pleased with Blumengarten and will be going back to them for future events.

These people did an amazing job! I went into flowers having no clue what I wanted but was able to come up with wintry flowers to follow my theme and it included many different accents such as berries, pine cones, etc. I couldn't have dreamed up better flowers for our wedding! Highly recommend!

I was so pleased with the work our florist did! I requested flower crowns for my bridesmaids, all I had to do was give her an idea of what I was thinking and she made them perfect!! My bouquet was beautiful and exactly the way I imagined it would be. They were very professional and willing to answer any and all questions I had.

I chose Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten because I liked some of the arrangements on their website. Sherry took my basic flower concept and turned it into beautiful arrangements! I changed several aspects of my order throughout the process and Sherry worked with me professionally throughout the process -she listened to my concerns and offered solutions that worked with our budget. I loved to work with this flower shop. They are very responsive, great price and flowers were beautiful. They delivered everything in time to two different locations, I loved my bouquet. I highly recommend this shop, especially to brides who are budget savvy - I have got much better price from them for the same flowers compared to some other shops in the area.

I couldn't have been happier with Blumengarten! I wasn't sure how a flower consultation works, and how the ideas in my head would make it into reality. Jim sat down with us and was very honest with us as we chose each item. He was able to make a bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 11 boutineers, and 4 corsages for under $500, and they didn't look cheap! He was simply able to suggest cheaper varieties that would add the right color and texture. They also will provide bulk flowers if you would like to arrange your own reception flowers, which is handy.

Blumengarten's was amazing to work with. We met with them one time about 11 months before the wedding, provided a budget, and they were able to stick to our reasonable budget even with a larger wedding. We talked about 2 weeks before the wedding and changed some items within the original quote based upon the number of guests and seating arrangements. These items were changed and a new quote/invoice was sent within a few hours to ensure everything was correct before payment was made. The flowers turned out exactly as we had discussed in our initial meeting and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. I appreciated their ability to meet our needs while not recommending overpriced flowers to get the type of arrangements we were looking for. I would recommend this vendor to anyone in the Pittsburgh area.

Sherry was our florist. She took our vision without any imaged of What we were looking for and made it more than I could have ever imagined. We wanted Calla Lillies and that's what we got. And if I told you the cost for 8 bouquets, 10 boutonniers, and 3 corsages you wouldn't believe me. That's why you need to give them a call for all your floral needs, they got it!

Blumengarten was such a great place to work with for our wedding and put together exactly the look and vision I was explaining to them at our initial meeting. Sherry was such a pleasure to work with and made the process so easy and fun! They were so accommodating when I wanted to change or add certain details throughout the wedding planning process, which made me feel extra confident about how the end result would turn out. I could tell right away that they truly put a lot of thought and effort into creating exactly what I wanted! Everything turned out SO beautiful and the guests were complimenting the floral arrangements the entire night! I wish I could of taken all of the arrangements home they were so gorgeous!

I live out of town so I gave my mom the task of meeting potential florists. Jim Ludwig stood out to her as the only one who really took the time to listen to her and learn about our vision for the wedding. We wanted dahlias as our main flower and he was so enthusiastic about the idea. Throughout the planning we changed the amount of flowers needed multiple times and Jim was always accommodating and responded rapidly with ideas for the requested modifications and new estimates. We trusted our vision to his creativity and knowledge of flowers and the result was splendid. From the boutonnieres to the bouquets to the centerpieces everything was exquisite, and we received so many compliments. Even the fresh flowers on my cake were beautiful! Jim's work was beautiful I would not have changed a thing, and to top it off he was far more affordable than most florists in the area. Highly recommend.

I loved my wedding flowers and that is all thanks to Blumengarten. Sherry was a pleasure to work with. She listened to my ideas and gave her input based on my personal preferences and budget. She was honest and easy to work with. I absolutely loved my bouquet and my bridesmaids' flowers. I also loved our centerpieces that they did. I tried to keep my flower budget low, but based on their work, you would have no idea that I was being "cheap." I definitely recommend them!

We had a very small wedding planned on very short notice....with a very small budget. We wandered into the shop just to check things out -- and we ended up having an excellent experience. This was one of the first places we spoke to that were willing to give us price points, especially important to us because we had such limited time. We scheduled an appointment about a week later, and everything was fabulous. I was able to give an idea of what colors I would like, and felt I was being guided towards flowers I would want without feeling coerced into something I didn't. Most importantly, the flowers were beautiful on the day -- we loved them!

I could not have asked for a better experience with Blumengarten florist. As someone who knows next to nothing about flowers, Bobby had me make the big decisions regarding flower choices and general concepts, but took over when I asked him to. He was very sweet and genuinely made me feel like he wanted my wedding to be beautiful. I received many compliments on the bouquets, centerpieces, and mantel piece. I would absolutely recommend Blumengarten, and specifically Bobby, to anyone planning a wedding in the Pittsburgh area.

All of the staff at the Blumengarten was extremely helpful and professional! We were so happy with all of our flowers!

I had a lot of ideas running through my head and had a hard time settling on colors and a concept, but they remained super flexible with me and gave me an outstanding look that I could never have came up with on my own. Sherry designed amazing bouquets for myself and the girls. Everyone talked about how beautiful they were and I couldn't stop looking at it!

They are a wonderful and friendly staff and we were so happy with everything they did for us!

I worked with Bobby for my flowers. That poor man, I changed my mind a million and two times and he always granted my requests. They stuck within my budget and the end product was gorgeous! I must say that Jim did an amazing job for my wedding. The flowers were truly beautiful. I think they were the nicest I have ever seen. My flowers were so magical and wonderful. The staff at Blumengarten were pleasant and always attentive and prompt. The only sad thing is that they won't last forever.

Blumengarten did our wedding flowers and they were affordable. The flowers were absolutely beautiful! The bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces were absolutely perfect! They also rented their huppah and did our wedding aisle. Bobby, was great to work with, and even did a sample center piece for us to see before the wedding. The center piece was perfect and we appreciated the opportunity to see it beforehand. Overall, we would highly recommend Blumengarten!
