Surprise engagement photos

Perfection

Our wedding day pictures have been described as “magical” by people who have seen them. There is just no other way to put it into words! Lona was absolutely amazing, professional, down to earth, and captured each perfect moment and laugh that we shared. The quality of the pictures is unlike anything I have seen. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lona and her photography excellence! Her communication through email was very quick and she also took the time for a couple phone calls to speak about our ideas and what kind of pictures we wanted. All to make sure we could get every shot that we wanted with each other and our family and guests done in a timely manner. You will love working with her, I know we sure did!

Our images are absolutely breathtaking!

She was phenomenal! We are still amazed at how great our images turned out. She was so patient and descriptive with telling us how to pose. Again I would highly recommend Blueye images.

Simply Amazing!

Having Lona as our photographer was a true blessing! Our experience was unforgettable as every picture perfect moment was captured beautifully. Lona had great communication, was very punctual, organized and creative throughout the whole process. Captured the BEST Day Ever

Lona was amazing. We had an intro meeting a few months before our wedding to go over our likes/dislikes, then a couple day prior, completed a form with all important info she would need on the day of. Our pictures (and album) came out beautiful and we 100% recommend her as your wedding photographer.

Exceptional!

Amazing photos!!! You will not go wrong with Lona!!! From the moment I spoke to her over the phone I knew she was the one and we were not disappointed! She was understanding, accommodating and encouraging with our last minute schedule change. The day of our elopement was perfect and having Lona as our Photographer was the icing on the cake! She made us feel so comfortable; by the end of the shoot we felt like we’d known her forever. Her assistant Cheryl was also amazing.

Professional, friendly, and great to work with!

Lona was absolutely great to work with! She is professional, down to earth, friendly and most importantly listens to what you want! From the moment we met her we knew we made the right choice! Leading up to the wedding she checked in with us frequently and made sure all of our questions were answered. It was very important to my husband and I that our sunset wedding be captured in a classy, timeless way and Lona did just that! Our pictures are beautiful!!! Everyone keeps saying that they look like they are out of a magazine! Highly recommend Lona with Blue Eye Images!!

Amazing and breathtaking photos!

Lona is a wonderful photographer and was able to capture every single moment, memory and feeling of love on our special day! From my first phone call with Lona (as we were planning a destination wedding), to our meeting a few days before the wedding, we knew it was a perfect match! She was a great listener of everything we wanted to capture at both our hotel and venue, walked me through a quick timeline of how to get it all done and showed amazing examples of her work that we could capture in Key West. By the end of the night, I felt like she was part of the wedding party! I highly recommend Lona and Blueye Images!

Lona is a true professional! She was so graceful and helpful. Photography is definitely her calling. We so far have only had a sneak peak and the shots are beyond what we expected. She felt like a member of the family, we loved all the work she put into our day. We are so happy!!!! We love Lona!!

Absolutely stunning photos!

I don't even know where to begin with this review, other than saying that if you need a photographer for your wedding LOOK NO FURTHER!!! From the beginning Lona was a joy to work with, so personable and she really took the time to get to know me and what I wanted. I felt an instant connection during our first conversation and it made the experience much more comfortable and relaxed (as I don't love having my photo taken). We had a very large group for our destination wedding and lots of large group shots that I had requested. Lona was such a pro, it was impressive to watch how she managed the group, kept everyone focused (while still having fun) and ensured that every photo I asked for was taken (and in record time, I still can't believe we got everything in the amount of time that we had). Once I was able to see the photos I was completely blown away, they are so beautiful and captured all the best moments from the day. The portraits are just stunning, but the candid shots are just as wonderful and Lona missed NOTHING. I had seen her work prior to hiring her so I knew she was good, but the final product completely exceeded my expectations. It was well worth the price, I will have these gorgeous photos forever and I would not change one thing that we did. Thank you Lona for such a wonderful experience!!!!

Loved working with Blueye Images!

My husband and I had our wedding at Casa Marina in April and we couldn't be happier that we chose Lona and her team to capture our perfect day. We received our sneak peek pictures about a month after our wedding and we were stunned how beautiful they came out. Lona has an amazing talent at capturing raw emotion in an elegant way. Plus, she is so easy to get along with and she is very prompt and professional with communication (which is super important with a destination wedding!). You can not go wrong with picking Blueye Images as your photographer. We are so grateful for all of the beautiful photos that we now get to love and cherish for a lifetime!

Lona and her team are amazing! Our original wedding date was scheduled for Sept 30th but Hurricane Irma decided we would have other things to do that day. Lona was so flexible and responsive to our panicked emails and numerous date changes thereafter. When our BIG day finally came, in April, Lona and her team were there. SO easy to work with! We met with Lona a couple days before our wedding to work on the important things - the who's who in the family and what "iconic" pictures we wanted/needed. The day of our wedding Lona came and was more than prepared. She took amazing shots and when the formal picture time came, it was like a well oiled machine of who is in the pic, who is out, and move on. It wasn't rushed but my husband and I were like let's get these done and get to the party. Lona happily obliged. Not only did we love her but my family did as well. A few months before our wedding, I sent Lona a picture of me and my brother from when we were kids and asked her if we could recreate it. She remembered and nailed the shot! We have received over 70 pics so far which is holding us over until the many hundreds come back. We know we will love them and have no idea how we will choose between them for our album. They all came out so great.

Lona has been great to work with from day one. She’s responsive and easygoing and for two people who are picture shy she helped made us feel comfortable and it shows in the pictures! Lona took such wonderful photos of our Audubon House garden wedding, both portraits and candid photos of us and our guests. She was really able to capture the joy we felt on our big day, we look as good as we felt!

Deciding to have Lona as our photographer was by far one of the best decisions we made. From the first conversation, we knew we were in good hands! Lona is incredibly talented, personable, and professional. I felt like we were friends forever! She got us! Who we were. She was amazing with the kids in our bridal party and adults too! One of the most important shots for us was sunset. And when I tell you she nailed it, she nailed it!! Many people told me they look straight out of a magazine! Couldn't agree more. To say Lona at Blueye Images was absolutely amazing is an understatement. She literally made our wedding day so incredibly fun, easy going, while still remaining professional and super timely on great shots. Her talent is undeniable. I was lucky to click with Lona immediately upon meeting in person. We felt beyond comfortable knowing we were placing our trust and investment in her for our big day, especially with it being a destination wedding. My husband laughs at me but we will probably make it down to Key West again for our baby pictures and holiday cards just to work with Lona again. Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lona! As soon as my fiancée and I met her, we knew immediately that we wanted her to be our photographer. Lona is professional, experienced, kind, and so much fun to be around! Throughout the year leading up to our wedding she made sure to check in with us and made herself available for us to email, call, and even visit whenever we were in town. We hired Lona and Blueye Images for our wedding after seeing her amazing reviews on weddingwire. She was really responsive when I was inquiring about her company early on and throughout the process! She worked seamlessly with our over vendors and was so sweet and we were so glad that she was there for our big day! LONA IS THE BEST!!! Her pictures are perfection (check out her website - the photos speak for themselves) and she has a great personality. Lona photographed our wedding and our trash the dress shoot. First of all, hanging out with her is like hanging out with a friend (e.g. totally comfortable and enjoyable), which is what you want on your wedding day. At the same time, she had total control over the situation and made sure we got the shots we wanted. She also spent extra time with us for our trash the dress shoot, despite being 9 months pregnant! She is super responsive and offered wedding planning advice above and beyond what you'd expect from your photographer (e.g. wedding exit ideas, etc.). Every time I hit a planning snag (where to have the ceremony, changing venues, etc.), I called Lona because she always had great advice and I trusted her eye. We HIGHLY recommend her!!

I can say that Lona was one of the only vendors I truly enjoyed working with when planning our wedding and the day of. During the planning process, she offered a lot of advice on day of planning and other tips that were totally out of the realm of a wedding photographer. She also went above and beyond to help me make a non-traditional first look location happen.

The quality of the photos are also great! The colors are beautiful and people look great!

Extraordinary talent, above and beyond service, and the epitome of fabulous are the three phrases I would use to describe Blueye Images. My spouse and I eloped in Key West so have fantastic photos was incredibly important to me since they would be the only way we could share our wedding visually with our loved ones as well as keep for our own memories later in life. Working with Lona was like working with an gifted friend. She invested the time in getting to know our personal style, must have photos, and just who we were as people. Also, since she's a native Conch (Key West resident) she knows the area like the back of her hand and was able to take us to locations we would have never known or thought of on our own. We've shared about 20 "sneak peek" photos with our friends and the overwhelming first response has either been "Absolutely beautiful" or "Gorgeous"! I would recommend Blueye Images over and over again! You will definitely be glad that you decided to use them.

The moment Lona walked into the door of my room on my wedding day my nerves were eased. Through the whole wedding process, Lona made everything easy and was able to answer any questions or give great advice when asked. We had her for 8 hours and she used this time excellently to get great pictures of not only the pre ceremony, ceremony, and reception, but drove us around town to get great wedding photos of Key West. We were shocked at the quality of our photos, catching each memorable moment throughout the day and capturing the true essence of Key West during the process. We can not say enough great things about Blueye Images, their quality, professionalism, responsiveness, and value exceeded our expectations. I would recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful photographs that capture one of the most important days of your life

Lona was amazing from the first interaction we had with her at her studio. She is extremely professional and very responsive. She guided us through the entire process, kept us on track and made the entire experience, a fun one!! Lona was with us for 8hrs. on the day of. We did a set of "Around town pictures". Best idea ever!! This was one of the best parts of the day. We posed for a few pictures, at very colorful places; we laughed, and when it was time for the ceremony we were so relaxed and enjoyed it even more!! Her Fun-Vibrant personality helped us easy our nerves. All our guests loved her as well.

The Sneak Peak photos came two weeks after the wedding day. They were stunning. She captured us as a couple and made our personalities shine through. She has an eye for every single shot. We highly recommend Lona for your destination wedding in Key West.

Simply Amazing. My wedding planner introduced my to Lona of Blueye Images and it was an instant connection. A few minutes into my initial meeting with Lona, I knew that she was going to be my photographer.

All I wanted from my wedding is for my guests to be happy, and to have amazing pictures. She fulfilled every wish I had that day. I got a sneak peek of my pictures today. The pictures turned out so well, that here, less than 24 hours after seeing them, I had to write a review. Lona is so relaxed and doesn't make you feel like you're posing. She is just incredibly talented. The photos are simple and breathtaking from start to finish.

Outstanding work. She really made my day that much more special. I now have incredible pictures that will hold better memories than my mind can ever recreate.

We would highly recommend her to anybody!

Lona was amazing the day of the wedding! We've only gotten our preview and we are just floored by how beautiful the pictures are. She was great all day being fun (making us smile and laugh as we took pictures!) and appropriately assertive (she made sure we got all of our must have pictures and stayed on time!) She was also creative and did a great job giving direction and making sure everyone looked perfect in the picture. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures and our album!

Lona was just terrific. We loved her style, personality and professionalism. Her photos were amazing. She really added so much to our experience. She stayed until the very end of the reception taking photos of our guests dancing--which was beyond what we contracted for--she did this on her own as she saw there was so much energy--she wanted that to be part of our experience. I really enjoyed working with her and would recommend her without reservation. We got our photo books that she designed and they are amazing--she is an artist for certain.
There are not enough nice words to describe Lona--but for certain I would use her again and again if the occassion permitted.

Not only does Lona take amazing photos, she is there for you every step of the way. I knew Lona was the perfect fit for us from the very first call. She was super professional, sweet and incredibly helpful. Having a destination wedding is so much fun and beautiful but can be very difficult to plan, especially when choosing vendors. I called Lona for everything. The only vendor I had that was not recommended by Lona was my band and only because I found them first. My wedding day was everything I could of hoped for and I owe a lot of that to Lona. Even the small meltdown I had after finding out an hour before my wedding that I wouldn't be able to have my reception outside... Lona stepped in an became my therapist! haha! She helped me bounce back quickly and took some of my favorite photos of the day in the process. #TeamBlueyes

Lona Hall and Blueye Images are absolutely fantastic. Not only are her photographs absolutely stunning but she's incredibly easy to work with. From the moment you meet her, you feel like you've been best friends for years. This may sound silly but that kind of chemistry is important when you're being snapped for 6-8 hours. She's fun and flexible but professional. I found that outside of specific shots that we wanted, she was unobtrusive and not distracting. I can't say I even remember her being there during the ceremony or the first dance but she was, I have the pic to prove it! She even stayed late for our wedding past the contacted time to snap those last shots we wanted. Guests, friends, random people on facebook have all commented on how awesome Lona and her art is. We agree, by far our fave vendor!

Lona was fantastic! Very professional and incorporated all the ideas I had for our shoot! She knows all the good locations for photos and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a photographer for any reason!

Lona and her crew did a wonderful job! We had a destination wedding and did not visit our destination until 2 days before wedding time. Lona was wonderful to communicate with pre-wedding and even helped me with some additional planning details, including her opinion about places and people we were considering. She helped me decide on our wedding planner who was also great. I really felt like Lona was an old friend when talking about and implementing what we wanted for our special day. He photographs are now hanging all over my house and I really love seeing them each day. Our wedding day was a big one for us and I could not imagine not having our photos turn out as gorgeous as they did. She really did a spectacular job listening to our style and creating what we wanted. If I could travel to Key West and use Lona for all my photography needs I would!

From our first inquiry to the wedding (and beyond), Lona has been absolute delight to work with. We've been to many weddings where the photographer makes it about them. Lona is amazing! We did our engagement photos with her and knew she understood exactly what we wanted and went right along with us (photos at the green parrot? Sure!)
For our wedding we had the upmost confidence in her. She understood we didn't want a ton of posed photos and didn't pressure us to do what we didn't want. Lona was flexible, put up with our crazy guests and family who all loved her.
We have only seen one picture so far but it was so amazing! Lona captured everything I dreamed of in a wedding picture

Lona at Blueye Images was Amazing, we had travelled to Key west from the UK and she was readily available the day we arrived to go through all of the photography that we would want for our big day. She also had a gallery very centrally located so we were able to go and see her photobooks a few days before the wedding. On the actual wedding day Lona arrived and managed to get some lovely photography of us girls getting ready without it eating into any time we had her for - she was very flexible about this. I do not particularly like having my photo taken but she made myself and my new husband feel totally at ease throughout the day, getting some fun photos as well as the family portraits. Everything flowed very smoothly and she recommended locations throughout Key west that would be good spots to get some pics in between the ceremony and the reception. We have now seen (only two weeks later) the sneak preview and we love the photos, they have captured the day and reception perfectly. We just cant wait to see the rest! Thank you so much! Your pictures mean we will always have a record of every little detail!

Lona was amazing from our first email through the picture selection process, which we are doing now. She is top notch. She really made us feel as we were her only client throughout even though I'm sure she was busy always! She worked with us and was able to do our photos quick and efficently along with incorporating our style into each photos, for example: our superhereo bridal party photo! My husband and I are already talking about our next visit to Key West and even thinking about family photos (since we are now expecting our first baby in April). Key West is a memorable wedding location, but it's even better when you have a photographer that can capture all the moments in style!

Lona, is, in a word, AMAZING. The sneak peak of pictures she provided us are absolutely stunning! Lona is the best! We were lucky that she was free to shoot our wedding. Once I saw her portfolio I knew she was the photographer we had to have for our wedding. She worked with us within our budget and that was something I really appreciated. Lona is easy going, attentive and knows what works and what won’t based on her experience. She was sure to have a list of all photos we wanted and we got them all done before the ceremony in a great location. Lona Hall from Blueye Images helped to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! She was so fun and friendly to work with. We felt like we had a good friend along for the day taking our photos. She helped me to relax before the ceremony and made sure we had nothing but fun, while capturing all the important moments of our big day.

Besides being so great to work with, Lona’s photos are unbelievable! My husband and I researched for weeks making sure we chose just the right photographer. I am picture obsessed and finding a great photographer was at the top of our wedding to do list. We were speechless when we received our sneak peek photos and used one of her images for our thank you cards! We absolutely love her photography style! Our families were blown away with the breath taking images she captured.

We would highly recommend Blueye images to capture any big event in your life. We hope to come back in a few years and do a family shoot with Lona on Sunset Key!

Lona is a dream to work with and so helpful and accommodating. She recently covered the pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception of our daughter at Old Town Manor and The Skelton House. She is easy going and very professional. We have not received the photo proofs yet but I have no doubt they will be fantastic. I will post again once we see the photos. Lona is amazing and great at what she does. I had ideas and a general "theme" that I wanted to accomplish in our photos and she totally understood and captured my vision. She is personable and easy to work with and was by far the best option that we could have had. She is full of great ideas and her talent is remarkable. Oh my goodness Lona, where to begin! By far the best investment we have ever made!!!! I knew choosing a wedding photographer was not going to be easy. We had a very small budget and struggled to find a photographer who's pictures we were happy with and who was within our budget. The minute I was referred to Blueye Images by another bride, there was just no turning back. I told my husband i'd promise not to ask for anything else, but this photographer I had to have. These pictures are going to last us a lifetime and will be a constant reminder of the magical day we had, so we re-adjusted our budget a little and were over the moon to secure Lona for our wedding day. Planning a wedding when you're abroad is challenging at times, even just taking the time difference into account, but with Lona I never felt any of the frustration or panic a lot of brides feel and even when I did get a little flustered Lona was great at calming me down. After a years planning and emailing back and forth, Lona was patient with me and answered all of my millions of questions and emails, quickly and honestly. She was always very professional and super helpful. Lona had so many great recommendations, not just where the photography was concerned but general wedding recommendations and suggestions, often actually saving us money! As I am not the most photogenic person in the world, my biggest fear was not having a decent wedding photo of myself, but Lona has exceeded all of our expectations with the most amazing photo's I have ever seen. The photo's really tell the story of our wedding and our love so beautifully. I was luckily enough to also do a 'Trash the Dress' photo shoot with Lona and the pictures are out of this world. It was such a fun shoot to do, Lona put so much effort into it, arranging all of the props at no extra charge and even had her mum bake cupcakes for the shoot. The customer service alone was worth every penny and add to that the most incredible photos and you actually walk away with a huge bargain. We can't get enough of our wedding photos and even have friends telling us that they still look at our photos on a regular basis. One of my closest friends is getting married next year and has told me how jealous she is now already, knowing her photo's won't be anywhere near as good as ours. This is a huge compliment to Lona's work.
Lona, thank you for all the effort you put into your work and for making us feel so at ease. You are super talented, it still amazes me how you take a simple setting and turn it into the most amazing backdrop. It was a huge pleasure meeting you and an honor to have you photograph our wedding. Big thanks as well to Amanda who did a great job assisting Lona, stopping traffic for photos and getting our guests together for group photos. We look back on our wedding day with the fondest of memories of you both. I wish you nothing but the best.

Working with Lona Hall and Blueye Images was the best choice we made in planning our wedding, and I feel so blessed to have had someone as amazing as her to work with on one of the biggest days of my life! Photography was one of the most important things to us as we balanced our wedding budget, and we decided to invest more (photography is an investment after all!) into this piece of the wedding pie. Not only was Lona as accommodating as ever before our big day as we narrowed down exactly what we wanted, but she was a blessing to work with during our wedding weekend in Key West! Seeing as my wedding was a destination wedding, I had to put a lot of trust and faith into reviews and phone interviews. When I was calling around to vendors, I came across Blueye Images, and I LOVED the photos on the site. I scheduled a phone interview with Lona and after about 10 minutes knew that I could put one of the biggest pieces of the wedding in her hands and be completely taken care of. She was amazing! We picked a package with her that included an engagement shoot that we managed to fit in on a weekend trip we took to Key West. The photos were unreal, were delivered back to us very quickly, and we still look at them at least weekly. On my wedding day, Lona was great! She is so professional, but also made me laugh and was completely flexible with what I did and didn't want to do. I never really noticed her there, she never got in the way, and she was incredible with the formal portraits, which got done in a flash! What can I say? Lona was nothing short of SPECTACULAR and there isn't one photo that was taken of both our wedding and my trash the dress session (even the ones where I didn't photograph well) that wasn't stunning.

Trying to plan a destination wedding can be extremely stressful, but I never had one concern or worry about my photography. Lona went well above and beyond to make sure that the thing I actually cared most about, capturing these special moments in our life, went off without a hitch. She met with my husband and me a couple days before, gave us as much time as we needed, and on the day of our wedding, she was unbelievably organized, pulled together and knew EXACTLY what needed to be done to get the perfect pictures, including ones we didn't even know she was doing to snap. My Trash the Dress session was unbelievably fun and Lona was willing to do everything and anything we wanted and she helped me come up with outlandish stuff that sent my experience and photos over the top!

Everything about Blueye Images is outstanding...so much to the point that when we go back to Key West, we are hoping to schedule Lona for some family portraits.

Lona, from Blueye Images did my husband and I's engagement pictures as well as our wedding pictures. She is fun to work with, easy to get along with and her pictures come out amazing. She is very professional and was very flexible with us as we wanted her to do the pictures of our rehearsal as well, and we asked her last minute and she had no problem doing them for us. She responds quickly to emails, phone calls or anything else. I will be using her for all of my big events that I want photos of.

Blueye Images was absolutely, positivitely the best-in-service photography company I could have choosen. Lona treated us like family, made sure we were comfortable and customized the whole shoot around us. Our wedding photos aren't those normal, boring pictures you often see in photo albums.

My husband and I were extremely happy with Blueye Images Photography for our wedding! We had the great pleasure of working with Lona Hall. She was very personable, fun, and professional. We instantly had a great feeling about her. She was timely about getting back to us with questions or concerns, and genuinely cared how everything turned out. I wanted a photographer that really cared about creating beautiful artistic pictures, but that also made sure to capture what we were looking for as well, and Lona did this perfectly. The family pictures session ran so smoothly because Lona was able to organize everyone quickly and still made it fun in the process. She was great with the kids in our wedding and we received many compliments from our guests about how great our photographer was to work with. She used every opportunity to take a great picture. We are so pleased with our pictures, I would highly recommend Blueye Images to any bride looking for an excellent photographer. I've already been recommending Lona to a couple of my girlfriends! You made our wedding wonderful. Even though we cancelled and rescheduled like three times. You made yourself available when the RIGHT time came along. Your work is wonderful as our engagement pictures turned out to be spectacular. The photos that you took were actully put on campaign signs and literature as Danny ran for County Commisssioner.

I would use you for all of our family pictures and recommend you to everyone we know as we know the work that you produce is of the best quality. There is nothing better than to know you have a photographer that has a true eye for unique pictures and has great ideas that stand out. Blueye Images is out of Key West and did my Oklahoma wedding and made it TOP NOTCH!!!!! I will use Blueye Images again FOR SURE!

The only problem I face is deciding which pictures to frame and hang. They are all gorgeous and I don't have enough wall space for them all !!!

After calling and researching several photographers I went with Lona at Blueye Images for several reasons. I instantly knew I made the right choice when I met with her for the first time because of her obvious passion and commitment to making our day special. I also loved that we receive all of our edited photos on a disk (no BS hoops to go through for each picture). Lona was so amazing to work with at our ceremony!! She was fun, calm, professional, flexible to our requests, and always had creative and unique ideas for pictures. Her artistic ability is outstanding. She not only became instant friends with my partner and I, but our guests loved her as well!! We definitely would recommend her!

We absolutely loved Lona and Blueye Images. She was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and willing to go the extra mile. She was very reasonably priced compared with other Key West Photographers and her work is absolutely incredible. I met Lona Hall of Blue Eye Images on my wedding day. I was a bit nervous of what she'd bring to the table for photos and ideas and I have to say my husband and I were absolutely blown away! She started with photos of me getting into my dress and ready for my shining moment. Lona had so many great ideas and really captured the moment with her photography. She was very professional and practiced in her art. The photos of our beach ceremony and the sunset photos after were breath taking. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Our wedding photos were exactly what we'd hoped for and then some! I can't say enough about how happy I was with Blueye Images and with Lona personally. Lona was in touch with me before the wedding and asked me what style I was looking for and my likes and dislikes. The pictures were the most important thing to me and they turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. I had an intimate wedding so everyone present was part of my big day and Lona was amazing, like having a dear friend taking your wedding photos.

One of the best (if not the best) photographers we've ever dealt with. Lona was very flexible and accommodating with our requests, though be aware that she is in high demand and books up quickly! Lona is a perfectionist when it comes to her work, so you should be aware that you will not get your photos immediately after the wedding. But trust us when we say that the wait will be truly worth it. We love our photos!!
