Perfect experience
We had to find an officiant on short notice and she was amazing. We meet and discuss expectations, she accommodated all of our requests, and the wedding was perfect! -

Excellent and stress-free service!
Lisa did an excellent job with officiating our wedding. She gave us exactly what we wanted.
We knew we wanted a non-religious ceremony, but otherwise we were not sure what the structure should be. Lisa asked great questions and helped guide the outline of the ceremony. She helped the rehearsal go smoothly and had no problem incorporating readings we added the day before the wedding (!).
At every step of the process, Lisa was easy going, but also organized and professional. She really put the focus on us and our celebration.

My fiancé and I contacted Lisa to help us with our wedding. By far she was the most helpful if anyone we spoke to. She had some great suggestions and help us plan our special day, and it was perfect. I would highly recommend Lisa and her company. -

Lisa made everything about our wedding day personal and easier. She was always available to talk when we had questions and she answered immediately. The week of the wedding she took us to lunch to get to know each of us better. We wanted a non religious wedding where we said our own vows, which was not so easy to find an officiant for in Memphis. Lisa had zero issues with this and seemed more excited for it. She told us everything we needed to know and helped us to understand possible unforeseen problems. We left our meeting feeling 100% better about the coming weekend.
On the day of the wedding she was a lifesaver and a blessing. It ended up raining for our outdoor ceremony and she kept everything under control. She made sure all of our groomsfolk were in order and position. She kept the crowd happy and made our lead up to vows quick and painless. I can't recommend her more and anyone looking for a normal or slightly unconventional wedding should hire her services. She helped make sure we had the best day of our lives. -

Lindy Sent on 07/31/2018My fiancé and I booked with Blues City Weddings upon recommendation from our venue, The Jefferson Oxford. From the first time I spoke to Lisa and told her what we were seeking in a wedding officiant, I felt instant relief. She was professional, a great listener (priceless), and a warm person - but importantly, she took initiative. She has a gift with people, as she does with officiating, so our short and sweet ceremony was special and touched on all the traditional exchanges we wanted while still getting to the point. She didn't ask too many questions, she did just what we asked, and it turned out to be perfect. Would recommend to anyone but especially to those seeking a more modern officiant in the South.

We are not from Memphis and had several questions about the area and the Lisa was quick and perceptive of what we wanted and were looking for. She was familiar with our venue and after speaking on the phone and a few emails exchanges, it was like Lisa knew us personally.
With the conversations we had ahead of time, Lisa was beyond words with the wording and formation of personal vows for us. When we met in person it was like being welcomed by family.
She also recommended an amazing photographer, Marty Smith, who was impressive and we had digital copies of the pictures the same day! WOW!!!!
Thank you Lisa! If we are in Memphis in the future I hope we can have dinner!

I knew when I decided to throw this large(100guest) party that I wanted help. Lisa was the perfect choice. I chose the theme and she went with it. From the flowers, every party guest received a crown of fresh flowers to match their 60’s costume, to the signature cocktail, waiting on each guest as they entered, every detail was over seen by Lisa! She made sure the party ran smoothly and every guest was enjoying themselves. She listened to all my concerns and answered any questions I had promptly and efficiently . I would not hesitate to have her help me again. If you choose her for your party planner, you will not be disappointed ! -
