This is the PERFECT venue! The view speaks for itself and the Stable is beautiful. Everyone there was super accommodating and made our entire planning process easy and stress free. Amy was truly amazing and made everything run so smooth. From the planning to the wedding through the end of the reception. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue or staff. Hands down, the best!!

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Bluemont Vineyard Stable - it was everything we dreamed of and more. We fit 150 guests very comfortably and everyone enjoyed the the indoor and outdoor space of the venue. The scenic view the stable offers is unmatched and the whole property has all the picture perfect locations you would want. The team at the stable was very responsive to any questions we had and were extremely transparent with costs. They also worked very hard to ensure our day was exactly what we imagined - even put us in connection with nearly all our vendors. Amy, our planner and day of coordinator was absolutely amazing. Amy and the Bluemont team made the planning process and wedding day seamless and stress free. I couldn't recommend the Bluemont team, Amy, or the Stable enough!

The view for the the ceremony is breathtaking, the stable is the perfect place for an elegant ceremony with a rustic feel, and the wine just paired with every part of the night. Our wedding at Bluemont was absolutely wonderful. We picked the perfect venue, yet even with the location being perfect, nothing compared to the service and professionalism.

From our first meetings with Amy, our event coordinator, you felt truly cared for. And the superb service only continued, as our day of coordinator handled every detail which allowed us to enjoy. The service provided was excellent, the coordination, the attention to detail, making you feel cared for, making sure your guests are taken care of… Everything about Bluemont was simply wonderful!

Bluemont was the perfect location for our wedding ceremony and reception. The entire team is great. From communication, to organization, and paying attention to every single little detail, Bluemont is the right choice! Our wedding day was relaxed, easy, and flawless. This venue has so much to offer, making the planning process so smooth and easy! Day of, so much of the stress and worry is taken away, leaving you and the Mother of the Bride to relax and take it all in! We are so thankful that we chose Bluemont!

There are not enough words to describe how happy I am that we had our wedding at Bluemont. Amy, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing. Me, my husband nor anyone else had to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding and everything went off without a problem. The venue was decorated beautifully, staff was amazing and kind. It really was my dream wedding come true!

Amy at Bluemont made our wedding day so incredibly easy from start to finish! From day one, she was extremely responsive and organized, able to answer all the questions we had (primarily about vendors). Bluemont's caterer, Savoir Fare, was delicious and I received so many compliments about them from guests. On our actual wedding day, Amy was there every step along the way, ensuring everything ran on time and we were well taken care of. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue.

We got married on 10/31/21 and everything was perfect. Our original wedding was scheduled for 10/31/20, but we decided to wait until this year
because of the pandemic. Bluemont was more than helpful and accommodating with this switch! The venue and views are gorgeous. Everyone from the catering company, to the staff, to the day-of coordinator (Amy) were fun, helpful, and kept the whole day running smoothly. Seriously, we barely lifted a finger the whole day! My husband and I highly recommend this venue for your special day! They made our special day unforgettable in all the best ways.

If you want a winery wedding, it doesn't get better than Bluemont! We looked elsewhere before finding Bluemont, but they made everything so seamless and easy, we knew we'd found the place. The space is visually beautiful--just choose your linens and order some florals and that's all it needs! Plus, a view you need to see to believe. Our wedding day turned out more wonderful than we ever imagined, and our coordinator Rachael was an absolute dream to work with--as soon as we met Rachael, all of my wedding-related stress-dreams stopped, LOL! Just one of the many benefits of hosting your wedding at Bluemont.

This venue far exceeded our expectations! We cannot express the beauty it offered along with how easy it was to have the wedding. Yes, easy! They literally do everything for you. We spent the extra 850.00 to have a day of wedding coordinator (Rachel) who was unbelievable! She was extremely detailed and organized, which helped the day go smoothly. As the parents of the bride, we heard stories of difficulties with wedding venues. Our wedding venue was a highly positive experience with good memories thanks to the venues planners(Amy) and wedding coordinator ( Rachel). This place far exceeded any other venue we viewed prior to finalizing that Bluemont Vineyard was the one. No regards and all smiles with an unbelievable beautiful wedding day!

If you're thinking of having Bluemont be your wedding venue... do it! After choosing a 2020 date back in 2019, we made the tough decision to postpone a year due to COVID. The entire team at Bluemont was supportive and flexible and worked with us every step of the way. While I had friends dealing with venues that wouldn't work with rescheduling, were being asked for more money, or a venue that wanted to dictate what the couple should do, etc., Bluemont was the opposite - easing our stress by being accommodating and supportive of our decision. Working with Amy made the entire wedding process easy and streamlined. I ended up going with almost all of the vendors she recommended and I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had Rachael for our day-of coordinator and I can't say enough how much she meant to us. From our final details meeting, to the rehearsal, to the actual wedding... Rachael had everything go off without a hitch. She put my husband and I at ease, had the entire wedding party organized, and had everything coordinated perfectly. By the time we were done taking photos, we'd missed our cocktail hour and passed hors d'oeuvres. We sat down for our dinner and Rachael had made a plate of one of each appetizer for my husband and me. It was the little thoughtful gesture, while there was so much going on that really meant a lot. If you choose Bluemont, there's truly no need to have a wedding planner. This venue is not only stunning, but you're in the best hands with their event team.

We had an amazing wedding because of the staff and recommended vendors from Bluemont vineyard. Our guests were stunned by the beauty of our Labor Day wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a sophisticated rustic wedding.

Bluemont was not only the perfect venue for our event but the price was fairly reasonable, things were easy to plan for with an exclusivity of not having to pick additional vendors, and the staff truly cared and showed professionalism in how to run the show. The day of coordinators (which comes wiht the package) are amazing and really know what they are doing. After having to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic,not once, but 3x, we appreciated Bluemont always offering us safety first and not charging us for additional things we had no control over. We are SO happy we waited to celebrate and can only image how happy other couples would feel if they chose Bluemont as their place to get married. As a super planner, working with Bluemont took alot of the pressure off myself!

We cannot recommend the Stable at Bluemont Vineyard enough for a wedding or any other event. Everything was flawless from the start of the planning stage to the magical evening itself. Amy was our coordinator and she was on top of everything and nothing slipped through the cracks. The food was off the charts good and all the staff were friendly and professional. Do not hesitate to book an event here. You will not be sorry!

We had such a great experience at Bluemont! Our wedding planner/coordinator was awesome and really worked with us and made the night perfect! Our original wedding date was impacted by COVID but the venue and Amy worked with us to find a new date to keep our family members safe. We loved it so much, we actually became wine members. 10/10 recommend - the view alone is amazing!

We had to charge the date 3 times due to Covid and Blumont was very responsive and helpful in helping us make the changes.. All the vendors they suggested were wonderful. Everything went like clockwork and there is nothing that I would change about this wonderful wedding and reception. I highly recommend Blumont.

My husband and I had an amazing wedding day thanks to Amy, Debbie, and Kate at the Bluemont Vineyard. James and I wish we could do the day over and over again! We were nervous about the impact of COVID on our wedding day and Kate made sure to talk to us about our needs to make the day special when we could only have ten to twenty people at our wedding. Bluemont Vineyard has the MOST beautiful views for a wedding and the best team to work with. Amy was there with us every step up the way through the planning process with vendor recommendations and answering every and any questions that we had. We had to reschedule due to COVID-19 and the Bluemont team made the upsetting change bearable and less painful. They reached out to vendors for us to make sure they were available and worked with them to reschedule. Our wedding day was absolutely seamless and that was all thanks to the Bluemont team. They allowed us o have our dream wedding.

We had our wedding at Bluemont Vineyard, and it was amazing! You CANNOT find a better view, and the staff was SO professional. Amy, Bluemont's wedding planner, is the best ever. They were so flexible with us when we had to change our guest count at the last minute because of COVID. I can't recommend them enough. Everything went perfectly at the wedding, and it was executed flawlessly. The bar and wait staff were so professional, everyone wore gloves and masks, and we felt very comfortable. We were so happy we did our wedding now instead of waiting until next summer. I can't say enough great things about Amy, Debbie, the venue, the staff, the food, and the wine.

Debbie and Amy were nothing short of incredible. They assisted us in rescheduling our wedding during a pandemic and turning our dreams into a reality. The view is not only incredible but every little detail fell into place. We would highly recommend this venue and team.

I can not speak highly enough about The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard. Amy & Debbie were amazing and when Covid 19 derailed our original plans, they were nothing short of amazing. Extremely transparent and supportive throughout the whole process. We got married, just the two of us, on our original date (7.12.2020) at the venue and seamlessly moved our reception to 7.11.2021. If you are looking for a beautiful, natural, relaxing vibe - look no further.

You could not find a more beautiful place to get married, let alone the amazing, caring and brilliant staff than that of Bluemont Vineyards! We had to postpone our wedding reception because of COVID 19, and the staff was beyond helpful and flexible with helping us change the date and even allowed us to still come on our original date to legally get married without hesitation. They have made the process so smooth and recommended other quality vendors that were just as accommodating and professional. I can’t thank them enough! They made our original date so special and I can’t wait to have our reception there in September (fingers crossed).

We havent had our wedding yet, but I wanted to post and express how grateful we are for Bluemont's staff during this time. Our April wedding has been impacted by COVID19 and Bluemont is being extremely supportive and trying their best to accomodate a future date.

From the moment we walked into The Stables at Bluemont, we had a strong feeling that this is going to be the right venue for us. After receiving a tour from Debbie, we were sold.

From then on, we met very often with our event planner Amy who did a phenomenal job throughout the process of planning our special day. Amy helped provide guidance on everything to make our dream wedding come true!

Any questions that we had about logistics or how to handle a situation, she was able to help us get a plan in action and make it as stress-free as possible.

The day before our wedding, we had a large party to rehearse with which Amy helped lead flawlessly. She was there along with the rest of the staff (who were also fantastic) to ensure that our wedding was perfect. We couldn't say enough about how great Amy was and how supportive she was through the process - we were blessed to have an amazing coordinator and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Amy and the Bluemont Team were lights out perfection for my husband and I’s wedding. Not only is the venue drop dead gorgeous (that view!), but as soon as you start your journey with the Bluemont team, you feel like you’re being taken care of. We worked with Amy from the beginning of the planning stages, and ultimately had her as our day-of coordinator. Wedding planning can be so daunting, but she made us feel at ease throughout the process. We always left a meeting with her feeling like we had things under control. She also recommended so many great vendors to us, many of which we ultimately used for the wedding. On the day of, she took care of wrangling people together for photos, feeding us (SO important!), and even fixing my bustle multiple times when it broke. They say “something always goes wrong on your wedding day,” but thanks to Amy, I can honestly say the day went completely perfect. From the beginning when we toured the venue, to when the last song played, every detail was thought of and taken care of by the Bluemont Team. I cannot recommend them enough!

Debbie and Amy were amazing from the very beginning! They helped me pick the best vendors for my wedding day, and even gave suggestions on where to get the perfect wedding dress. Amy is an incredible wedding planner and helped guide me along the path up until the big day where she transitioned to my day of coordinator. I had numerous compliments from my guests about how gorgeous the venue was, and how it was the smoothest run wedding they had ever attended. Overall, I'd give 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

I cannot possibly say enough great things about our experience with Bluemont Vineyard. From the day we went to tour the venue for our wedding we knew we were in great hands. The venue itself has absolutely beautiful views (we had a fall wedding but I’m sure it’s gorgeous year round). My guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous the view was. Inside the Stable, there are beautiful lights and fabric draping the ceiling, it’s just so beautiful. And Amy.. Amy Thunnell was our wedding and day-of coordinator. I cannot say enough how thankful we are/were for her. She was so organized and helpful during our meetings, she was always easy to reach and had answers to questions I didn’t even know I should be asking. She knows so many of the vendors in the area, from our florist to the bakery that made our cake to our transportation provider (limos and shuttles), Amy knew the owners personally and it made our wedding day go so smoothly. On our wedding day, she was a super star, she was always there, making sure we had every single thing we needed before even asking. She really made the night flawless. And the FOOD. Savoir Faire served the most delicious food. We and our guests were blown away by how incredible the food was. Bluemont, THANK YOU for making our wedding day dreams come true.

I wish I could have my wedding all over again. Bluemont vineyard was absolutely beautiful and the staff, wow. Amy (our coordinator) was absolutely amazing. She helped me put my dreams into reality! The view is breathtaking and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. They set everything up as well as took it down and into our cars. Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart. My family is still calling me telling me how much fun they had.

My husband and I are so happy about our wedding experience at Bluemont Vineyard. Our day-of coordinator assigned by the winery was very experienced and professional. She truly cares if each couple are happy and stress-free. She's been very responsive during the preparation and made sure to remind us. She's also really good at coordinating vendors. She's very resourceful when we needed the help. The service crew was trained really well. my friends and family were so happy that day.

Choosing The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard was by far the best decision we made! We saw around 10 different venues before visiting Bluemont and the second we drove up the hill and saw the view my husband and I looked at each other and said “this is the one”. Meeting Debbie and Amy afterwards confirmed we were definitely making the right decision. They were both awesome and so easy to work with! Amy was our coordinator and a serious life saver! She worked with me the entire year and made wedding planning enjoyable and a lot less stressful! She was always organized and on top of everything. I couldn’t have pulled it off without her! We are still hearing from guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! It truly was the best day of our lives and was all thanks to Bluemont’s amazing team!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had our wedding at Bluemont Vineyard! First, this venue is BEAUTIFUL. There's nothing like the view from the stone terrace, and the inside of the stables is a nice balance of elegant and rustic. There's an upstairs area for the bride/bridesmaids to get ready, bathrooms and the venue is climate-controlled.

Every single staff member is incredibly professional and easy to work with. They're very up-front about the cost-- we weren't surprised at all when we got the final bill! Amy was a phenomenal wedding planner and day-of coordinator. Our meetings with her were quick and straight to the point. We really appreciated that she respected our time and was extremely flexible with her schedule!

On our wedding day, Amy took care of us so incredibly well. She made sure we were on-track with our timeline, ran any errands we needed and seamlessly coordinated deliveries with various vendors. We can't thank her enough for making our dream wedding happen!

Bluemont Vineyard is the whole package when it comes to planning a wedding. They have it down to an absolute science. We had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Amy Thunell as our wedding planner from start to finish and we couldn't have asked for a better person. She worked with us on everything, laid out the entire process and provided expert advice. We were completely relaxed throughout the entire process which is a direct result of Amy and her team at Bluemont. It was an absolutely perfect day that went off without a hitch and we will forever be thankful to everyone at Bluemont!

Our entire experience planning our wedding at the Stable at Bluemont Vineyard was smooth, professional, and enjoyable. They were up-front about costs and a lot of the planning is streamlined through them and the caterer they use to make planning a lot simpler. The venue coordinator Amy is top-notch, professional, and experienced, not to mention an enjoyable person to work with. Meetings leading up to the day were efficient and I felt my vision was well understood. I can’t tell you how important it is to work with an experienced vendor that thinks of everything you don’t. On the day of the event, we had an absolute blast. The staff at Bluemont makes countless efforts big and small to make sure your enjoy your wedding day as the bride and groom, and that you have time to both talk to guests and enjoy the party you’re planned. You get the rustic barn feel but with smooth floors and few stairs that are important for heels and guests that have trouble walking. The venue and view are beautiful and unique, the day was perfectly managed and on time, and all in all it was literally our perfect wedding day. If we could celebrate again, it would definitely be at Bluemont.

Seriously, I do not know where to begin in reviewing our exceptional wedding experience with Bluemont. I am the mother of the groom and live with my husband in McLean, VA. My son and his wife live in New York City. My daughter-in-law is Japanese-American, and her parents and one sibling live in Japan. My husband is Belgian, and his family lives in Belgium and Australia. As a family, we lived in West Africa for a good part of our children's childhood. As a result, in planning this wedding, we had before us several cultures and languages to incorporate, as well as available timelines for travel to the States. I remain amazed at the extent to which Debbie and especially Amy not only accommodated the atypical vision that the bride and groom had for this wedding, but they offered advice (without pressure) and exceptional flexibility at every step along the way such that we never worried at any point i that something could go wrong. We trusted them entirely.

So here are some of the things that made such a difference - they provided a list of vendors who they habitually work with, and in several cases we used their vendors and were nothing less than thrilled with the services received. Savoir Faire is the required caterer, and many of our guests raved about the menu (especially the beef tenderloin au jus), which we served family style. We also served salmon, roasted potatoes and asparagus, along with a salad. Savoir Faire offered children, kosher, gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian meals, as well. No one went away hungry! I highly recommend the family style menu, as it seemed to fit so perfectly with the informality and family-friend focus of the wedding. We had an hors d'oeuvres reception, but opted out of a formal dessert - offering instead freshly baked doughnuts and cookies, both of which were a big hit. As we had some guests not show up at the last minute, Bluemont wrapped up all the extra meals, which we took home and enjoyed the day after.

We were so pleased that we were able to buy our own alcohol, which was served by the Savoir Faire bartenders. Of course we had wine from the winery (the white and red farm table wines were especially popular), Belgian beer, Moscow Mules as a signature drink and then other alcohol such as whiskey, vodka, gin, etc. What was fabulous about this arrangement is that we took home any leftover beer, wine and alcohol. In terms of the latter, we were able to return unopened bottles, which is a nice cost savings when you don't know how much guests will drink and buy too much, which we did. The catering staff did a fabulous job. They were efficient, friendly and responsive, but somehow never got in the way of dancing or photos. Now how did they do that?

It was not so much the big things that made such a difference, but the little things that Amy assisted us with throughout the 9 months of planning and as our day-of coordinator. She sent us a checklist and kept us moving through it. She never got frustrated by our follow-up emails asking for changes in the menu or table layout or decor. Of special note is that Amy did not blink an eye when we told her we had approximately 26 in the wedding party - 13 on each side, plus three non-English speaking flower girls and a ring bearer. I don't know how she did it, but during the rehearsal the day before (highly recommended!), Amy was able to guide this wedding party to walk, do, stand and sit just as envisioned by the bride and groom. Extraordinary!

And then we had the "nightmare" crisis the morning of the wedding, which could have ruined the day. The band (not one of Bluemont's recommended vendors) coming from NC for some insane reason decided to drive up the morning of the wedding and their van broke down. So, hours before the wedding (and keeping the news hidden from the bride), my son and Amy went into 5th gear and were able to identify and bring on a DJ, who was fabulous. He downloaded all the songs on their playlist, filled in as MC and with Amy's help - conducted himself as if he was the hired DJ from day 1. If we hadn't told the guests, no one would have known that he was a last minute substitute. In fact, many guests told us that it was better having a DJ than a band, who often try to steal the show. We had not thought about that, but I think it might be true. There was never one song when the dance floor was not packed, despite there being quite a mix of dance music and sentimental tear-jerking songs.

Other examples of the difference that Amy made - we forgot to buy sparklers, but she had some spare which she allowed us to use. The same goes for some sparkling apple cider that was served to those who did not want alcohol for the toasts. She accommodated our dropping off the decorations, beer and alcohol two days before the wedding. She helped me greatly in figuring out how to accommodate my 91 year old wheelchair-bound father and 88 year old mother. She had delivered to our house the outfit of the 6 year old ring bearer, which his family had inadvertently left behind, and she made sure we got it back before their return to Belgium. I could go on and on, but I will stop here and simply say - there are many beautiful winery-type settings for weddings in Northern Virginia, but I doubt that any of them provide the support and feel like part of the family as Debbie and Amy provided and felt like to us.

Several of my son's friends who grew up in McLean are considering Bluemont now that they have attended a wedding there!

I loved everything about this venue. When searching, I found that what I really wanted was a venue that offered (almost) it all without having to research rental companies, caterers, etc. The Stables has an exclusive caterer (Savoire Fare) that is amazing! I had heard good things about them but the tasting sealed the deal. In addition, they offer so many bonuses that other venues make you pay extra for. The view from the ceremony space was incredible and all the guests commented about how beautiful the venue space was. We were married in mid-July and the hydrangea walkway was in full bloom, a dream come true! I worked with Amy and Janet and both were incredible helpful, knowledgeable and timely with their responses. I felt like they were there to make our day perfect, and everything was handled seamlessly. I really can't say enough good things about this venue, other than it was perfect. Even on our 100 degree wedding day, they made sure the guests and bridal party was as comfortable as possible, being lenient with allowing guests to mingle inside before the ceremony. Janet made so many good suggestions when I started to stress about the temperature of the wedding day, and she was amazing at setting up, keeping us on a good timeline and taking care of all the little details of the day so we could enjoy ourselves.

This venue is unbeatable in the northern Virginia area. Excellent views, excellent day of coordinator (shout out to Amy!) and the set up is incredible. It is nice because they are super flexible with the weather and the rain plan if needed. They work well with other vendors and have a great caterer that they work with. It is also nice because you can bring in your own liquor, champagne and beer. The coordinator/planner will send you all the forms you need to fill out and submit for temporary ABC license and for wedding insurance, she made it all very simple. It is also nice because if you start to get low on wine, they will just grab you some more from the vineyard. This venue was perfect for us and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting a super romantic, elegant, rustic wedding! :)

Working with everyone at Bluemont Vineyards was an absolute dream!! Planning a wedding can be so stressful but the team at Bluemont made it so easy. Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to the incredible team at Bluemont and I cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone there. The venue is breathtaking, our wedding photos came out incredible!!! We were married late afternoon and were able to capture the sun setting— truly unforgettable.

The experience with Bluemont Vinyards for our wedding was excellent from the beginning to the end. We loved everything about our wedding at Bluemont!! For the planning process, Amy was wonderful to work with. I am not one of those girls who has dreamed of planning her wedding her entire life so I was a little lost when it came to planning. Amy gave us an outline of things to think about, asked insightful questions to help direct our planning, and provided us with suggestions for wonderful vendors in our price range that we could pick from. She was so organized, helpful, and responsive. It made the process so much easier. I honestly don't know how we would have done it without her!

The caterer, Savoir Faire, was also wonderful to work with. The food tasting was my favorite part of the planning process. The food was absolutely delicious on our wedding day! All of our guests commented how good the food was, definitely way better than your typical wedding meal!

For the actual day of our wedding, everything went perfectly! We had Rachel as our wedding day-of coordinator and she did a wonderful job! Everything ran smoothly and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Bluemont took care of the décor set up and take down for us and everything looked perfect! They made our lives so much easier and we could not have been happier with how our wedding day turned out! Bluemont was the perfect venue! Our guests were blown away by the view and the atmosphere. We could not have been happier with how our wedding went. It was everything we had hoped for and that was due to the beautiful venue and view at Bluemont as well as their amazing staff!! I would recommend Bluemont a thousand times over!

The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard is the perfect blend of rustic and elegance. We fit 150 guests more than comfortably, who were able to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor space of the venue. The outdoor view is the perfect ceremony backdrop, and the vines and outdoor terrace make for the most incredible pictures. The venue has their own caterer, and our guests could not say enough good things about them! Last but not least, the wedding coordinator, Amy, was nothing short of a miracle worker. I was not stressed at all on my wedding day, she took care of anything and everything, and it felt like it all unfolded before my eyes perfect. Cannot recommend this venue enough!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! Bluemont is a beautiful venue and Amy and Jen were incredible to work with. They were very responsive, attentive and made the day go by without a hitch. Jen was our day of coordinator and was a pleasure to work with. She made sure the bride, groom, bridal party and parents were happy, made sure we had something to eat and kept everything on schedule. She was flexible and managed whatever was thrown at us without me even knowing about it. I have nothing but great things to say about Jen and Amy.

From the moment my fiance and I set foot on Bluemont, we knew it would be the perfect venue. #1 - It's a stunning setting. #2 - They make the process SO simple. #3 - Amy (their event planner -- and, if you're lucky, you're day-of coordinator) is absolutely phenomenal at what she does. While the overall wedding process is stressful, we had no qualms whatsoever about Amy handling all of the details for us on the Bluemont-side of things. #4 - Savoir Fare, their required caterer, is terrific. Seriously.

Bluemont ended up being the perfect venue for us! We wanted a venue where guests (and kids!) could spread out if the weather was good, but where we wouldn't need a tent in case of rain. We loved the casual but elegant vibe and, honestly, the whole area was stunning. We rented out several local B&Bs for the bridal party and for the groomsmen and some guests said that it felt like a very accessible destination wedding. We didn't have a wedding planner, and the staff at Bluemont really helped us think through the reception process. They were extremely professional, responsive and helpful. With their help, we were able to pull everything together under a very tight timeline. The only downsides were lodging (the most charming places nearby fill up quickly, leaving the rest of the guests in the not-as-atmospheric hotels near Dulles airport), and the noise ordinance in the county, which means that you have to wrap up earlier than I would have liked. Of course, these are not under Bluemont's control. Overall, Bluemont ended up being ideal. We had a picture perfect day and could take full advantage of the green space and amazing view! Highly recommended!

Could not imagine our wedding at any other venue. It was the first venue we looked at, and we didn’t need to look further! The view from the Stable is gorgeous and the interior is rustic yet elegant - exactly what we wanted. Amy was our wedding coordinator, and she was so great to work with! She gave us great recommendations for other vendors to hire, was very organized throughout the whole planning process, and communicated with us often in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. We felt like she took care of us every step of the way. When it came to our wedding day, the set-up and service was outstanding. Our guests had an amazing time and everything went so smoothly! Bluemont will always have a special place in our heart!

We have nothing but great things to say about our wedding at Bluemont Vineyard! We selected this venue in passing while searching the area and it turned out to the best decision that we could have made. The views are absolutely breathtaking.

The staff was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. We currently living in Texas but decided to have our wedding in the DMV area because that is where the majority of our friends and family live. This forced us to plan and prepare for almost all of our wedding from a distance.

We started working with our planner, Amy, almost immediately after we booked the venue, who was amazing at accomodating to our distance. She made her schedule flexible for us so that we could knock out as many planning items as possible during our short vacations home to see family. In addition, she held various conference calls with us to continue planning. Amy was active throughout the planning process and it was very refreshing having somebody there that was able to give us input, recommendations, and advice rather than just reminding us about deadlines. We ended up using Amy's recommendations for a plethora of things such as hotels (Lansdowne Resort), flowers (Carly’s Affordable Arrangements), transportation (Point to Point), and rehearsal dinner venue, all of which turned out great.

The venue itself was beautiful. Since our wedding, we have constantly heard nothing but great things from our guests! In total, there were about 180 guests in attendance (out of 220 invited). Despite our apprehension about our large guest count, the space accommodated everyone perfectly. There was plenty of room to eat, drink, and dance, without guests feeling like they were on top of each other.

A few months prior to our wedding we were put in touch with our incredible day of coordinator, Rachael. She saw the wedding through until the very end, and our special night definitely would not have gone as smoothly without her. Rachael made sure to receive the information for all of our vendors and contacts, to ensure that during our wedding day we had no extra stress. Rachael ended up helping us through a sudden DJ cancellation two days before the wedding. She immediately told us not to worry and spent the entire rest of the day working to resolve the situation with a new DJ (who ended up being better than we could have ever expected - DJ Freddy!).

The staff at Bluemont made sure that everything was perfect the day of the wedding. They all coordinated so seamlessly by helping to store/set up all our decorations, and ensured that every single thing was taken care of as well as resolving any issues. Rachael checked in on the bride and groom often to make sure sure we had time to eat, drink, and enjoy our time with family and friends, while also working our way through the night's timeline.

Bluemont Vineyard will always hold a special place in our hearts. After having our wedding in such a beautiful place with the most helpful staff, we could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

My husband and I worked with Amy through most of our planning, and had Janet as our day-of coordinator. Both women have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and are great listeners too! They help take the guesswork out of planning. Go with their preferred vendors! They all know the venue like the back of their hand and can make for a seamless, stress-free wedding day. Also, Janet has the most soothing and patient demeanor, and she worked tirelessly on our big day so that we could fully embrace the moment. We will always head back to Bluemont for wine, mountain views, and reminiscing! It is a place that will hold a part of your heart forever.

I cannot speak highly enough of Bluemont and Amy Thunell. The venue was gorgeous and Amy and all of the staff were wonderful to work with. Amy helped guide us through the process and made everything easy and seamless. The venue is gorgeous. All of our guests were so impressed and commented how beautiful everything was. Just perfect.

We had the BEST experience getting married at The Stable at Bluemont!! Obviously the venue is breath-taking and gorgeous. Amy and the rest of the team at Bluemont are so accommodating from start to finish. I had zero worries on the day of my wedding because Amy kept everything right on schedule, so that we could truly enjoy the day. The food, wine, and atmosphere were perfect. Where do I start? Bluemont is everything you can imagine for your wedding day. The views are everything, the vibes are amazing. The stone staircase lined with hydrangeas was breath taking. Hands down, Amy our coordinator was the best part. She knows exactly what to do, when to do it and in any every situation. She’s hilarious the entire process, she makes it so relaxing to plan your big day. We will spend every anniversary at Bluemont. We can’t thank them enough.

We got married late June. The planning started about a year earlier with Amy Thunell from Bluemont Vineyard. I can honestly say that we've never dealt with someone so positive and helpful. We really had no idea where to start. The first meeting with Amy she completely set our minds at ease. She gave us homework to make sure we covered our bases all the way through. She knew exactly what we needed the whole way through and made the planning way less stressful.

Day of the wedding she was the MVP! We basically showed up and it went flawlessly. I don't want to sound like there were no stresses throughout the day but from when we showed up at The Stable to the time we left we didn't have a concern or worry Amy was a rockstar that day and it made our day perfect!!!!! The food and caterers were great the staff was amazing and like I said earlier everything went without an issue.

The venue itself is incredible from the time we walked in the first time a year and a half ago we knew we would be married there. The view will take your breath away and the facilities are perfect as well. All of our friends and family commented how well everything was planned and executed. After the wedding my wife commented that everyones profile picture changed to a picture of a selfie with the view at Bluemont behind them.

It was really an amazing day and Bluemont's staff made it all possible. I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone looking for a place!!!!

Bluemont could not have been a more perfect venue for our wedding. The location and views are stunning, the facilities are very well maintained, the wine is fantastic, and the team has an extreme commitment to making your event perfect.

From the very beginning we knew we were in good hands with Amy and her (enormous) checklist to keep us on track. The caterer Bluemont partners with was incredible, gave us a great tasting and the actual dinner came out even better. For weeks we heard from our friends and family how wonderful the food was. It seemed the biggest hit was the vegetarian/vegan option they provided. Amy also recommended great flowers, bakeries, and DJs in the area.

We ran into a situation with work where we needed to move the date of our wedding up by six months and with only two month’s notice. Amy jumped on a call with us immediately and assured us that she could make it happen. She completely came through on her promise. She walked through each and every detail (things we could have never thought of) with us and made sure we kept up with a shortened timeline. We would have never been able to pull off the gorgeous wedding without her.

When comparing Bluemont to other venues in the area, it is a bit on the more expensive side, but it is totally worth it. The price includes a coordinator to help through the entire planning process and on the day of the event. The experience they bring with them is priceless. At every chance Amy helped us figure out ways to cut costs and keep everything manageable.

This team cared enough about taking care of us, that as we left, we were told they had put dessert bags in the limo for us. This was an attention to detail I do not think we would have gotten anywhere else.

Working with Bluemont was an amazing experience! From start to finish it was so easy and everyone was so pleasant. There are many lovely venues in NOVA but none could be more well run than Bluemont. Our wedding day turned out to be perfect, until the photographer didn't show. Amy was on the phone immediately scheduling backups to come over. She also was my saving grace in calming me down, keeping things on task, and getting me to enjoy our big day! Amy provided just the right amount of helpful feedback and made me feel so much better throughout the planning process. Best day of coordinator I could have asked for! We are so happy we picked Bluemont for our wedding day. It was absolutely perfect and the view is amazing! Amy Thunel was our wedding coordinator provided by Bluemont and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She always put my mind at ease and even helped my girls bussel my dress. Our wedding day was perfect! Thanks in part due to Amy, our amazing coordinator. She made everything run so smoothly right from the start. Her and the rest of the staff take care of the smallest details that you wouldn't even think about in order to make your day extra special. I was stressed when I arrived on my wedding day due to my transportation being late for our pick up time and causing me to have to rush to get ready. Having Amy greet me as I got out of the shuttle and tell me I looked gorgeous made me instantly feel at ease. She was so attentive during cocktail hour when pictures were being taken, and brought me and my girls any drinks we wanted, as well as food. I highly recommend booking with Bluemont for your wedding. You can't beat the scenery and landscape, but you also will never find a coordinator as organized and thoughtful as Amy. You will not be disappointed!

Bluemont Vineyards was one of our favorite wineries before we got married there, but now it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The Venue: We found that a lot of the wineries in the area do not have a separate event space. Having a separate wedding/event space was a huge plus. While we didn’t get married at Bluemont (we had a church wedding) the views are incredible and make a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. We loved the historic, rustic feel of the Stable. I love that we didn’t have to “decorate” the space – the views, stone floors, and high ceilings were enough. The space is private and secluded – you feel like you're on your own mountain with just you and your guests. Also….very important…air conditioning. We looked at barn-type venues that did not have A/C and that wasn’t going to fly for our June wedding. The Staff: Amy, Debbie and the team are the BEST! From our first planning call with Amy, I knew we would be in good hands. She helped keep us on track and was always available for our questions. I am so grateful to have had Amy’s insights and expertise. Her advice was invaluable! I never thought I would need a planner or coordinator…but it was SO helpful. The day of we could just relax and enjoy time with our family/friends– Amy had everything under control. I can’t imagine our day without her. The Food: The exclusive caterer, Savior Fare, is top notch! The service was incredible – they took such good care of us and our guests. Everyone commented on how delicious everything was. We loved the tasting and found it hard to choose which delicious meal we were going to serve. We also loved having the family-style option. The Wine: The wine is amazing. Seriously…some of Virginia’s best! My Husband and I have visited many of the local wineries and Bluemont’s wines are at the top of our list. The Farm Table Red and White are perfect wedding wines and our guests loved them. Thank you Bluemont Vineyards for making our special day so special!

The minute we stepped foot in The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard we knew we had found our venue. The atmosphere speaks for itself - the stable is the epitome of rustic charm and the views from the lawn are breathtakingly beautiful! The team at Bluemont, their catering partner and their wine are added bonuses. Front start to finish Amy (our coordinator) and the Bluemont team guided us through the wedding planning process without a single hiccup or worry. The food and service provided by their caterer (Savoir Fare Limited) is top-notch and stands apart from "typical" wedding. They allowed us to create our own signature drinks and they crafted them to perfection - giving our guests options in addition to the award-winning wine that everyone enjoyed! In addition to their caterer, they have a vendor list that we highly recommend considering. We used 4 of their preferred vendors and they were EXCELLENT! Throughout the process and even on wedding day, they answer was always "YES!" Even right down to asking for a sewing kit minutes before walking down the aisle. We have received nothing but fabulous compliments about the venue, food, and event. Bluemont made our dream wedding come true and we are so grateful for the happy memories. We look forward to celebrating many anniversaries at our favorite vineyard!

We had our wedding reception at Bluemont Vineyard on July 22, 2017. Everything about the venue was wonderful! The views are absolutely stunning and the stable is gorgeous. Our day of coordinator was Jen. She was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and made our reception run smoothly the day of. She was extremely organized and kept the reception on a perfect timeline. Bluemont uses Savoir Fare Limited as their sole caterer, and they are wonderful! Our guests raved about both the venue and the food! I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a vineyard wedding!

I am so sorry that it took me so long to write this review! Let me start off by saying that Bluemont, Amy Thunell, and the staff at Savoir Fare was just amazing! Not only is this venue just gorgeous, but Amy has been just an amazing help throughout the entire process. I couldn't have asked for someone better to be there and take care of everything during my whirlwind day. She kept us all on time and in line from start to finish! I've taken so many of my friends and family members to visit the winery even long after the wedding because we just love how welcome the staff at Bluemont makes us feel every time we visit! The food was DELICIOUS!! I loved that we even had our own plates to eat beforehand so we had time to go around and talk while everyone else ate. The venue is super romantic and Amy went well above the call of duty to help me make it perfect and gave me plenty of options that were also supportive of our budget. Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place and Amy! I was truly blessed to have such a beautiful special day! THANK YOU!!!

I'm not sure what I can say about Bluemont and Amy Thunell that others haven't already said, but I'll give it a try. Our daughter's wedding at The Stable was wonderful, and Amy did an exceptional job with the planning and day-of coordination. I had never planned an event of this scale before, and Amy made it as simple and stress-free as possible, providing guidance, suggestions, and humor. Communication was easy—Amy responded quickly to my questions (or at least by Monday if I emailed her on a wedding weekend). Catering by Savoir Fare (Joan Wolford) was excellent; the tastings were generous and provided ample opportunity for us to plan a great meal for our guests. Our few special menu requests were accommodated. The setting is extraordinary, which probably goes without saying; we were willing to pay the cost of the venue rental because of the location and view—which were stunning—and the Stable, which provided a rustic and elegant ambience. Aside from a bad experience with Road Yachts and an unexpected cold snap, the entire day went smoothly, and my daughter and her new husband and our guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

The Stable at Bluemony Vineyards is cozy with a gorgeous view! Amy was great to work with, she went above and beyond the call of duty. She surpassed our expectation! If your looking for that fairytale night then this is the place to go!

Bluemont Vineyard was an amazing place for our wedding! We booked the venue a little over a year out from our wedding, and the entire time our coordinator, Amy, was responsive, incredibly helpful, and willing to give insight or advice whenever asked. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worry about anything! The staff helped pack up and clean out our stuff at the end of the night and helped set up our decorations for the event which is very above and beyond considering many venues will not assist with your own decorations. The food was amazing as well! I can't say enough wonderful things about Bluemont, their staff, Amy, and Savoir Fare (the caterer).

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything/one about Bluemont Vineyards. Feels like a fairy tale that we actually got married there! When we first visited, Debbie was wonderful. She took Dave and I around the facility, explained the process, answered all our questions, and made us feel calm during a busy wedding planning season. We loved that the Stable was "an all in one" venue (meaning that with our contract they took care of the venue, catering, tables, event coordinator etc.), and we loved that the venue was private and separate from the tasting room. We were able to relax knowing that with Bluemont's help all these details would be taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious. When it came to all the fine details (table numbers, meals, wedding insurance, etc.) Amy, our event and day of coordinator, was 100% a God send. She kept us on track, was  organized, and is absolutely amazing at what she does. She made sure we didn't worry about a thing on our wedding day and was so much fun to work with. As was noted by so many of our family and Pastor, she is the BEST wedding coordinator we've come in contact with, and we are so thankful she was apart of our special day! When it came to the venue--Absolutely. Breathtaking. The twinkle lights and ceiling draping made it so romantic and the barn gave it that rustic/down to earth feel. Last but not least--That. View. It was the icing on the cake. On the wedding day itself and since, our wedding guests have RAVED about our ceremony, the view, the food and the venue. Again, it is SO surreal that we were able to get married at such a beautiful, breathtaking venue with amazing owners and staff who felt like family when all was said and done. We loved every minute of our wedding at The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard. Amy Thunell was our planner and she is absolutely fantastic. There was never a question she did not have a quick answer for and she helped us through all of the challenges of wedding planning with ease. She is honestly the most talented event planner I've ever worked with. Choosing to host our July 1st wedding at the Stable at Bluemont Vineyard was by far the best decision my husband and I made. From the outset, the Bluemont team was responsive and timely, and made us feel comfortable spending our investment there. Amy Thunell, the lead event coordinator, was a dream. She set us at ease from the first time we met her, and helped us navigate the necessities versus unncessary extras that you'll be faced with while planning a wedding. Amy also referred us to the best vendors - Savoir Fare (catering), Event Studio (flowers), Ian Lade (DJ), and Sweets by E (cake). Bluemont and these vendors have worked together for years, and it could be seen with how seamlessly they were able to set-up and tear-down the event without disturbing any of the guests.

We were lucky enough to draw Amy as our "day of" coordinator, and I could not have been more stress-free as a bride. If something went wrong, I truly had no idea! Our bridal suite was stocked with chilled wine and snacks, she monitored the groomsmen's beer intake, and kept everyone happy. She also kept the timeline on track, ensuring my husband and I actually got to eat (yes, we ate at our wedding!), kept the speeches flowing, and had us cut the cake before the real party opened up.

I can't say enough good things about Amy and our entire Bluemont Stable Wedding experience on July 07, 2017. Amy was a fantastic wedding planner and we were lucky enough to have her as our day of coordinator. From the very beginning I felt at ease and stress-free, knowing that Amy always had our back. She made everything seem effortless-- she is clearly super organized and kept us on track throughout the entire planning process. I loved that Amy wasn't trying to 'penny and dime' us and always provided different choices to work within our budget, yet making everything look like the wedding of our dreams. When it came to the wedding day, Amy had everything and everyone in tip-top shape. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, we had absolutely no idea, because in our eyes it was the most perfect, flawless day. I loved that when my dress got muddy from wedding photos (in the middle of the reception) Amy was there in a second to clean up my dress with club soda. She truly was the best and I'd recommend her and the Bluemont stable to anyone that wants a beautiful and flawless vineyard wedding =). THANKS SO MUCH, AMY!!!

What a wonderful venue for my daughter's wedding! Amy our wedding coordinator was awesome. Very responsive to our every need. The location is just beautiful and the wedding went off without a hitch. Food was delicious and hot. The Staff was attentive and courteous. As mother of the bride I didn't have to concern myself with anything the day of the wedding. Amy created the perfect wedding for our daughter. Just beautiful! Highly recommend!!!!!

Picking this venue was the single best decision we made for our wedding. It goes without saying that it is picture perfect and makes for a lovely gathering of family and friends. What truly stood out though, was our coordinator, Amy T., who was outstanding in every aspect. Every step of that way, she was she prompt, helpful, professional, thorough and an incredible guide through what would have been an overwhelming process without her. I do not know how anybody plans a wedding without her. If anyone is thinking of booking this venue, don't hesitate to do it!!!

My husband and I didn't even look at any other venues when we were searching, because we knew as soon as we stepped foot on the property, Bluemont Vineyard was the venue for us. While there are many beautiful wedding venues in Loudoun County, none of them have the view that Bluemont has- 360 views! The team at Bluemont Vineyard is VERY organized-- they have been doing this for a long time and they made our wedding process and day of go more smoothly than I could have ever imagined. We originally met with Debbie to discuss the possibility of having our wedding at Bluemont and she is amazing to work with. We then worked with Amy (our wedding planner) and she was also great and very organized. She took the time to talk to us about what we envisioned for our day of and gave a lot of great suggestions. Last, but not least, Rachael was our day of coordinator. She killed it on the day of. Rachael she made sure that everything went absolutely perfectly on the day of. She even took time out of being our coordinator on the floor, to quickly go up the bridal suite before our intros and literally pick out all of the branches/leaves/grass/dirt that my dress had picked up during pictures, so that we could bustle my dress and remain on schedule. She always made us feel like she really and truly cared about making sure we had the best day of our lives on our wedding day.

The team over at Bluemont has worked with some amazing vendors and we used many of their recommendations, and could not have been more pleased. The vendors that work weddings there often have a great relationship with the Bluemont staff and it is very apparent how well they work together to make everything perfect. They were also very welcoming to our photographers, who had never worked a wedding there before.

Everything was seamless and I cannot thank the Bluemont team enough for giving us the most beautiful wedding we could have asked for!

Our experience from the very first moment we saw the Stable at Bluemont was nothing but the best. We dropped in to take a peek and walked away with a signed agreement. Just open the front doors and to see the beautiful converted stable with the ethereal drapery and white lights and you will be as enchanted as we were. Debbie Schoeb was so kind and extremely accommodating and worked with us to find an October 2017 date for my daughter's wedding. From there we were assigned a wedding coordinator - and were we ever blessed. Amy Thunell was a dream come true! She is a true professional and knows all the ins and outs of planning a wedding. Any time I had a question, Amy was quick with the answer. She made ever step of the way easy and fun! This was a dream wedding come true! My daughter and her now husband were so happy. The only drawback was that it was over too quickly! This mom has found new friends in Debbie and Amy. And I look forward to returning to the tasting room in the near future to just enjoy that fabulous view from the hillside. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

We were in love with the Stable at Bluemont Vineyard. They made the whole wedding process so easy! You meet with a planner throughout the year and then a day of coordinator when you get closer to the wedding. They were absolute life savors. Also, the view is unlike anything else in Loudoun County. Everyone should get married here!

From the initial planning stages down to the day of details, they made planning and executing our day completely painless with their professionalism, quick responses, attention to detail, but most importantly their genuine personalities and care for making our day stress free! Jenny was a total blessing - I couldn't have dreamed up a better coordinator! Our guests raved about Bluemont as well - from the view, to the staff, to the food - it really was everything we hoped for and more.

I cannot say enough good things about Bluemont Vineyard for our daughter's wedding. The venue is spectacularly beautiful. The people are super friendly and accommodating. They want everything to be just the way you want it. The caterer (Savoir Faire) was excellent. Amy, our coordinator, was the best, and helped us every step of the way. She kept us on track and helped make the decision making organized and fun. She really was awesome and was always available to answer our questions. Amy also made excellent recommendations for our vendors (flowers, music, etc.) which was enormously helpful since we're not from that area. The bottom line; our daughter's wedding at Bluemont was exceptionally beautiful, magical and lovely.

The staff was outstanding – there was someone to help us at every step of the wedding planning process, and helped us craft the perfect wedding celebration. My husband and I got married at Bluemont in April and it was a gorgeous day and everyone was great to work with. Can't say enough good things about our coordinator, Amy Thunell!! She took care of everything behind the scenes and even helped avoid a complete disaster when our DJ didn't show up on time for the ceremony. This place is beautiful, Amy was great, and I would recommend it to anyone.

We had our absolute dream wedding at The Stable at Bluemont. Amy was SO helpful and put so many of our worries at ease by simply saying, multiple times, "Let me handle that." We couldn't be happier with everything. Guests have been raving non-stop about how it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to, even on a cloudy day. Our only complaint is that it went too fast and we wish we could do it all over again!!!

We didn't have to worry about a thing! The Bluemont team is a well-oiled machine and they gave us the wedding day of our dreams. Our wedding could not have been possible without the incredible team at Bluemont. From the very beginning, my fiancé and I quickly realized that we were in the best hands. Our day-of coordinator, Amy, made the planning process effortless. She made certain each and every detail we wanted became a reality. Plus the venue is the most beautiful spot in the world. We have always wanted a vineyard wedding, but so vineyard venues are mixed in with the public and there is absolutely no privacy. The BEST part of Bluemont, is the wedding venue is absolutely separate from the wine tastings and other busy public spots. Cannot recommend this venue enough!

After our first visit to Bluemont Vineyard, we fell in love with the venue. It was the perfect location for a springtime ceremony and reception with family and friends. We received many compliments from guests on the beautiful scenery and décor. We had the best experience working with Bluemont over the course of the planning. Amy Thunell, the event planner and day-of coordinator was such a pleasure to work with and it was clear after our first meeting that we were in very good hands. Everything ran so smoothly on the day of the wedding which allowed us to relax and enjoy our celebration with family and friends.

My husband and I were married at Bluemont Vineyards in September, and they did a fantastic job making our wedding the perfect day! We chose Bluemont for several reasons: 1) we had our hearts set on a winery location, and Bluemont has definitely cornered the market here with spectacular views and a rustic stable wedding feel; 2) we wanted a location that would be convenient for guests coming from out of town. Bluemont is easily driveable from Dulles Airport; 3) great food was a must, and Savoir Fare (their designated caterer) met my husband’s high standards; 4) we wanted to bring our own beer (we didn’t serve liquor but could have brought that as well). My husband was very particular about choosing the beer we would serve, and we wanted to save money by purchasing it ourselves; 5) we favored outfits that were transparent with their costs. Bluemont had no hidden service fees; and 6) Bluemont had a solid rain contingency, which we ended up using, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. After choosing Bluemont, we were guided every step of the way by an initial wedding coordinator (Amy Thunell) and then later by Genevieve (Jenny) McLaughlin, who would was also our day-of coordinator. Both were very responsive to our many emails, texts, and phone calls. We coordinated probably a dozen trips to the Stable to work out the details, and they were very accommodating. Plus, they always sent us home with apple cider donuts! Our wedding was on a Friday, and Bluemont made it very easy for us to decorate ahead of time. Thursday weddings are rare, so we had plenty of time to stage and decorate after our rehearsal. As I mentioned, we did use their rain contingency, and it worked out perfectly. The Stable was decorated beautifully with lights, and they easily rearranged the chairs and tables to create a ceremony set up that couldn't have been more intimate and romantic. You really can’t go wrong with Bluemont, and thanks to everyone there who made our day so special!

I would definitely talk to their wedding planner, Amy, who is fabulous! The venue and views are beautiful and Amy made the whole process easy and fun. Everything worked like clockwork and our guests had a great time and raved about the ceremony and reception. Their caterer, Savior Fare is amazing and the food was so delicious. The most beautiful and easy to work with venue, this should be your top pick right away! When you first walk in, the Stable will literally take your breath away - but then you see the ceremony site and you just know its the one! We couldn't have been happier with our choice with this venue. They worked with us to change our date because of a military deployment and were so kind and helpful during that stressful time. Amy is the wedding planner there and she is literally a wonder at her job - I could not and definitely would not want to do the wedding planning process without her! The staff was amazing, the whole wedding and everything leading up to it was perfect. Thank you so much Amy and the Bluemont team!!!!

I looked at 10 beautiful venues in the Northern Virginia area for my October 16, 2016 wedding. I probably spent around an hour at each of them, and was having a hard time deciding. Bluemont was one of the last ones we went to, and within 5 minutes of being there I knew it was the perfect place for our wedding and there was truly no comparison to the others. Not only is the venue gorgeous inside and out, but we were beyond impressed with the staff, particularly Amy Thunell (our coordinator for the first few meetings) and Rachael Ballinger (our day-of coordinator). Obviously wedding planning is an overwhelming process, but when I met the staff at Bluemont I was 100% confident that they were on top of it. They are SO organized and will go through every single second and detail of the day with you to make sure everything goes exactly as you want it to. They also had great advice and helped me make a lot of decisions (champagne toast or not, signature cocktail, ideas for place cards, location of decor, timing for the whole event, sparkler sendoff, vendor recommendations, etc etc.) My wedding day ran like clockwork - I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Rachael was so sweet and wonderful and kept bringing the bridal party appetizers & drinks throughout the day. She also served us our dinner before everybody else so that we could get a chance to eat before making the rounds to the other tables. There are also some add-ons that they offer which will make your wedding even more awesome - like Bluemont's own fresh apple cider, apple cider donuts, and Savoir Fare's "late-night snack" food truck. I could go on and on - we don't have a single regret about our wedding, and that's all thanks to Bluemont/Amy/Rachael.

We had a fantastic experience with our wedding at Bluemont. We knew we wanted to get married there the moment we arrived for the tour - it's such a beautiful venue and was perfect for the elegant outdoor theme we wanted.

Amy was our planning coordinator from the beginning and we loved working with her. She kept us on track the whole time and was very responsive to emails and phone calls. She also gave us great recommendations for local vendors. We used the officiant and transportation company she recommended and were so happy we did. I was so happy when I found out she was our day-of coordinator - we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding night. We dropped off my gown and all our decor during the rehearsal the night before, and Amy had everything set up and ready to go when we arrived for the wedding. Everything went perfectly that night as far as I was concerned. If anything came up she handled it immediately and professionally. Apparently we forgot to bring petals for our flower girl, oops. As soon as Amy realized it she pulled a couple centerpiece flowers so that our flower girl had petals for the ceremony. I didn't even know about it until a week later when a bridesmaid mentioned it to me. We also under bought on the wine because we didn't know how much wine people would drink - when we ran out after the cocktail hour, she was able to get us more wine and it wasn't even an issue.

We had so many compliments on everything, from the gorgeous ceremony views and beautiful reception space, to the wine and the food and catering staff. The food was delicious and yes, we did get to sit down and eat - Amy made sure my husband and I were served first while our guests were just getting started. We got to enjoy our evening and celebrate with our guests without feeling rushed or stressed. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and we have absolutely no complaints. We could not be happier with our choice to get married at Bluemont!!

We were engaged for 2.5 years so we had a LOT of time to change our minds or second guess wedding details. We picked Bluemont 2 years ago and knew we made the right choice. Stunning, classic, nature, rustic, breathtaking are all words to describe he experience that comes with this venue. All of our guests were blown away by this VA horse country beauty and we were blown away by how thoughtful, attentive, and all-encompassing Amy (coordinator) and her staff was. Every detail was perfect and thought through. We truly had the perfect day and we hope others will do themselves the favor and entrust Amy and her staff with their special day.

My husband and I had our October 2016 wedding at the Stable at Bluemont Vineyard. We had been frequent visitors to Bluemont and absolutely loved the beautiful views and quality of service we always received there. When we got engaged, Bluemont was the first, and only venue we ended up checking out.

The Bluemont staff were professional and accommodating from the very start. We originally booked an Oct. 2015 wedding, but we ended up wanting to push our date back due to unexpected circumstances. Bluemont accommodated this adjustment graciously and without penalty. Debbie was very responsive to all of our questions and allayed any of our concerns.

We were so lucky to have Bluemont's Amy Thunell assist us through the planning process, and as our day of coordinator. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amy and how absolutely amazing she is at what she does. Not to mention Amy has such a fun personality, she was a pleasure to work with. Every meeting with Amy leading up to our wedding instantly reduced our stress and assured us everything was under control. On our wedding day, Amy (and all the Bluemont staff) made sure everything unfolded flawlessly. We had a few unexpected hitches (like hurricane Matthew), but Amy handled it all with the utmost professionalism, coordinating with our other vendors to ensure we were stress-free and satisfied with all aspects of our day. We ended up going with Bluemont's rain plan for the ceremony, and although it was not what we planned, it was still perfect. Quite a few guests commented to us about how amazing Amy was at keeping everything on track and organized, a few even saying they wish they'd had her at their wedding.

More guests than we can count commented on how wonderful they thought our venue and event were. Everyone loved the views, the food, and the flow of events. We truly could not be happier with the outstanding job Bluemont did in creating our perfect wedding day, and would highly recommend them.

Can we give more than five stars?

My wife and I had Bluemont on a long list of venues to check out. After touring the place, we made it maybe five minutes up the road before deciding to cancel our other appointments, turn around, and book them immediately. And thank goodness we did.

EVERYONE had comments about how gorgeous the place was. Amy, our wedding coordinator, was AMAZING. Constantly reassuring, every idea she had was perfect. She understood us (and our lack of vision and idea of how to even pull this wedding off) and guided us through it. The best compliment anyone gave us was when someone said that the wedding seemed like it had been perfectly tailored to match us as a couple. While I'm sure they meant that as a compliment for my wife and me, they were really complimenting Amy. We went into this with no idea of what we wanted, and Amy helped us every step of the way until we did.

The food from Savoir Fare was incredible. The wine from the vineyard was amazing, and the ability to bring in our own beer and liquor was a great way to save some cash. Amy recommended a team of vendors who knew the venue very well, and we felt like rock stars all day long.

If they are available, book at Bluemont immediately. It will absolutely be worth it.

My husband and I got married this past July at Bluemont Vineyard and had an incredible experience. We toured every venue from the eastern shore to western Virginia and as soon as we pulled into Bluemont we knew this was the place. Everything about the venue is special from the incredible scenery to the people that work there. We had the pleasure of working with Amy as our coordinator who made us feel so taken care of from the very first meeting. On the day of our wedding we had questionable weather with thunderstorms in the forecast. Amy and her team could have easily taken the easy route and have us move the ceremony inside but they insisted to wait it out and watch the radar and found us a window of opportunity to have our dream outdoor ceremony as originally planned. They were so accommodating and helpful and everyone raved about the food. Everything went so smoothly despite the numerous obstacles that very likely could have occurred. I would 100% recommend Bluemont Vineyard to any bride and groom!
