Fantastic Team

I recently had my dream wedding at a beautiful venue, thanks to this amazing wedding events rental company. They were professional, attentive, and understood our vision from the start. The DJ was fantastic, keeping the dance floor packed and the energy high. No dull moment! The lighting and sound were top-notch, creating a magical atmosphere and allowing everyone to hear our vows and speeches. The attention to detail was impressive, and they worked closely with our wedding planner. Everything blended out so well. Throughout the planning process, they were responsive and accommodating. Quan is the BEST!

Dj Quan is the BEST - we could not have been happier with his work at our wedding!!! He kept everyone dancing the entire night, and I've had so many people tell me that he was the best DJ they've heard at a wedding. He really stayed true to the input that we provided, both by playing our "must have" songs, but also reading the dancefloor and tailoring the entire set to match what kept people going. It was just great song after great song.

Quan is also incredibly professional and so easy to work with. I went back and forth on some of the logistics, and it never fazed him. He even created a medley for our first dance that came out Perfect. super accommodating!

You can tell that Quan is very passionate about his craft and about his clients. Highly, highly recommend!!

Best DJ/MC/Photobooth service ever!

I would book bluEDGE for all my events if I could, except, I don’t have any parties coming up. Thank goodness because I am still recovering from my wedding 2 months ago. But I 100% definitely will book them again. No doubt! Here’s why.

They are awesome! My husband and I had the pleasure working with DJ Quan, Philippe, and bilingual translator Shirley. My initial point of contact was with Philippe and he was so helpful and informative that I had to book him without hesitation.
Philippe was very accommodating. He worked around our schedule with meet and greets. He came out to the venue to look at the space and gave suggestions on where would be the best place for the DJ and photobooth. He gave pointers on the floor plan, type of music for our intimate wedding, wedding games. It was so helpful given that my husband and I had no clue what-so-ever what we were doing.
Quan took it to the next level with his expertise on wedding planning. He was a tremendous help with our wedding schedule. Like I said. We are clueless to wedding planning. Quan helped us organize our schedule and made sure we can squeeze everything in 4 hours time. From when we start the grand entrance (and we started late because some of my guests arrived late) to games and cake cutting. And we still had time to spare and it was not rushed at all.
Besides helping with the wedding planning, we really loved how laid back and welcoming bluEDGE is. They are such nice and genuine people. Every time I see them on stage, they are looking out into the crowd with a smile on their face, genuinely happy that the guests are enjoying themselves.
I can write forever but like I said, I will book them without a doubt! No hesitation! And I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

So happy with our experience!

I started out as a cost-conscious bride who was seriously considering DIY our DJing with a playlist on an iPod. But after talking things over with my husband and friends that just got married, I finally relented, realizing it was more important to ensure our wedding guests would have a great time. And wow, am I glad we went with bluEdge Entertainment! Leading up to the wedding, we worked with Cherish, and our actual DJ was James. Cherish was very communicative and helpful when I had a ton of questions. Their music and pronunciation forms were extremely helpful. Admiddinly there were a few key songs we didn't choose till days before the wedding, but they were able to accommodate nonetheless. I was also very passionate about our dancing playlist, and James promised he would do his best to honor all my requests while balancing with reading the crowd to make sure the guests had a great time. Fast forward to the day of our wedding - everything was PERFECT. First, James did a great job timing all of our songs for our ceremony and making sure the vows sounded great. Next, we got to hear James's emcee/DJ voice for the first time, and he was amazing! Energetic and professional without being cheesy or overbearing. He did a great introduction during our wedding party reentrance, and then NAILED our soul train request right after our first dance to get everyone on the dancefloor!! (I honestly was a little nervous about it since it was something we decided to do lastminute and did really know how it was going to turn out). We were ecstatic. Once the dancing started, he read the crowd to play the best of our list and kept our guests dancing nonstop. It was a fantastic time! I'm so glad my husband and girlfriend talked me out of the iPod idea. We can't thank James and Cherish enough!!

bluEDGE Entertainment is literally the best DJ company I could have asked for. We had Dj James with us on our special night. From the start to the days leading up to our wedding their team was great to work with. They were very professional, organized & upbeat. Unlike a few of our over vendors, I never felt overwhelmed with the communication and planning process. They made it very easy to set up all our music selections. I can’t count how many time we had our guests come up to me raving about the music and the Dj. Our dance was packed the entire time. Everyone had the BEST time. I highly recommend bluEDGE Entertainment, and Dj James to anyone!

Truly an amazing team!

They are by far the best wedding Dj company in the Bay! My brother used them for his wedding a few years back. So at first, I was hesitant on using them for our wedding because I wanted to out do my brother’s wedding Dj..haha. but after a exhaustive search and interview process we decided to not take any chances and went with bluEDGE Productions. We are very very happy we did!

So Quan was my brother’s Dj. I remember he killed it hard so naturally that was my first choice. But he was already booked. So he recommended Dj Marc. I checked out his bio and demo and was very impressed. Quan also helped us facilitate our meeting with Marc, and after the meeting we felt very comfortable in his experience and abilities as an emcee and Dj. The entire planning process with them was very smooth. Quan or someone from the team was always quick to answer our questions. the other thing I really appreciated was that they always had a can do attitude. We had a bunch of performances, and last minute requests and they were always eager to assure us they can make it happen.

Fast forward a couple of months to our wedding day. By the time we got to the hotel, they already had everything setup. My wife changed her mind on the up lighting color and our monogram location last minute and they were quick to jump on that and make it happen. Our ceremony was flawless too. All the music were played on time. The song we picked to walk down the isles to after we were married had a long intro and my wife wanted that to fade in and be in the background as our officiant was still talking before we kissed. To be honest, I don't remember any of that on the day of , but my wife still talks about that every time we watch our wedding video, Marc executed that perfectly.

For our reception we had a pretty big bridal party and of course everyone wanted their own intro song haha. We gave Marc a little blurb for each person and he nailed it with great energy! The rest of our night was super smooth as well. All of the announcement for our performances including my surprise flash dance for my wife went perfectly. Then it came time to dance, Marc really delivered!! By the end of the night I was drenched from head to toe from being on the dance floor. I think I literally only left the dance floor to take pictures at the photo booth (which they also provided) or take shots at the bar. Everyone had a blast and we had the best night of our life! So to the entire bluEDGE Productions team, and especially Marc, thank you guys for an EPIC night!!

Fantastic!

My overall experience working with bluEDGE Productions was amazing! Hiring DJ Quan to be our MC and DJ for our wedding night was the best decision! He was so organized in helping us choose the perfect songs for each special moment of our big day. I’m Chinese and my husband is Jewish and we had a large number of family members that flew in from China, Australia, and Europe. It was important for me to have a Dj and Emcee that could speak Mandarin. Quan came highly recommended by my bridesmaid and he did a fantastic job! His was charismatic on the mic and did a great job translating all of our announcements and toasts in Mandarin. He kept us on track throughout the night and kept our dance full. We couldn’t be more grateful for his talent and professionalism, and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

As two people who love music and love to dance, finding the perfect DJ was key. We were very glad we found bluEdge productions. James is not only an incredibly talented DJ but also an great person!

bluEdge Productions came highly recommended to us by our planner and they more than met our expectations.
We booked James as our Dj and also had them take care of our lighting, flipbooks and draping. They were very responsive and accommodating to all of our requests. They even went out of their way to help us find a harpist for our ceremony.
From our first meeting with James, we knew he was a good fit. He was able to quickly grasp our taste in music and even provided some great recommendations for songs we hadn't thought of.
On our wedding day James and his staff showed up very early. I was very impressed with how beautiful our reception spaced looked with the lights, our named monogram, and draping backdrop for our head table.
During our reception, James had great energy addressing our guests and announcing our dances. My husband and I were getting pulled in so many directions, but it was hard to leave the dance floor because the music was so good. We also really enjoyed the flipbooks. Several guests told us at the end of the night it was one of the best weddings they’ve attended.

James and the Bluedge team was awesome! He DJed my sister's wedding so we knew he would be good. We had a very diverse group including family members from Chile and Brazil. We used Bluedge for photo booth and uplighting and they were phenomenal! From choosing layouts, to them being flexible and thinking on their feet the day of, we enjoyed working with Quan and crew throughout. The selection of uplighting colors was vast and we quickly picked colors that worked for our event. The gentleman running the photo booth was courteous and laid back, even when the kids took over the booth every time there was no line. He even brought them chairs to stand on so they could see themselves better! The props brought were also unique and hilarious. I highly reccomend!

Quan deejay'ed at my brothers wedding a few years ago and I vividly recalled the fun atmosphere he brought to the ceremony/reception. When it was time for my wedding, my wife and I only wanted to work with him and his team. We booked bluEDGE Productions for our ceremony & reception, and tacked on extras like dance floor monograming, reception uplighting, and of course the photo booth - we loved that bluEDGE was a one stop shop so we could take care of all the day-of entertainment via a single vendor.

Quan's professionalism made the process super seamless and easy to understand. It was evident to us from the very first consultation that he takes preparation very seriously. He was always on top of the schedule, even sending us friendly reminders when the music selection would be due and not taking name pronunciations for granted by clarifying them on video call a couple of weeks before our wedding.

When our wedding day finally came, Quan was there with his staff to set up exactly on schedule, transforming the event to something we couldn't even have imagined was possible without scoping out the venue first. Everything was perfect, and the night ended with friends and family dancing to the last beat.

Quan and BluEdge was by far the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. From first just sending in an inquiry about their pricing and packages we were blown away by their quick response, impressive skill set, professional packages, and great pricing.

We had BluEdge for our photo booth, our outdoor lighting, and DJ services. All were more than 5 stars in service. I felt like I could trust them with so many pieces of my wedding thanks to the quick communication throughout the whole process.

For our wedding I took every step in the process very seriously and I managed all of the planning for my wedding so I cared a lot. Quan was amazing because throughout the reception him and I were in sync about moving some of the timeline around. He was flexible, nice, offered great recommendations throughout the process. The music was amazing, our guests LOVED the photo booth, the service was 200% - they really went above and beyond.

I would HIGHLY recommend them, like if you were my friend and we were getting coffee and you asked me who you should have as a vendor for your wedding I would tell you get BluEdge and dont bother looking anywhere else haha. Quan and the whole BluEdge team really care about you and your event. Or, at least that is how I felt. I felt like I was really valued, taken care of, and that my event was as important to them as it was to me. I wish I could give plus stars.

We are SO HAPPY we used BluEDGE for our wedding for their DJ/MC, Photo Booth, Flipbook Photo Booth, Uplighting, texture and monogram lighting.
DJ Quan went above and beyond. He worked with us beforehand to make sure he pronounced everyone’s names right, we had the right music for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception. He was full of energy and had all our friends and family on the dance floor. He helped with our ceremony as well, and when things got crazy and there were last minute change, he stepped in and made sure everything ran smoothly.
The photo booths were top quality. The people working them were extremely nice and helpful.
The uplighting, texture, and monogram lighting really helped give the venue an added touch of fun and elegance.
All their services we used were top notch and all at a very reasonable price.

We are so happy that we hired bluEDGE for our wedding. DJ Quan is an awesome DJ. We were looking for a bilingual(Chinese and English) DJ in bay area, but we had a hard time to find a good bilingual DJ, until we found Quan. He is was helpful through the entire process. He gave us all the guide and suggestions we needed and they are very helpful. The lighting and sound system were very good, especially DJ Quan did a great job on our wedding. BluEdge Productions was so great. We hired them for string lighting and their DJ/MC. The string lighting was great – it added the perfect ambiance for our reception. We had DJ Quan. He was sooo great. The ceremony music went smoothly, as well as the reception music. And, he kept the dance floor alive! It was awesome. All the staff were responsive to emails, respectful of our thoughts, and had great advice/suggestions. You can tell they are very experienced! Also, very reasonably priced. BluEdge was one of our favorite vendors!

We used bluEDGE Productions for our wedding and they were great all around. The communication was prompt (almost always within a day), and professional. James was our Dj. He was very professional and helpful during our consultation and he delivered a flawless performance on our wedding day. We had an international crowd and he did an excellent job in reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed. Picking Jeep as our wedding DJ/ MC was the absolute BEST decision that we could have made!! Our guests are still talking about how much fun he was and how he was the "best DJ they've ever had at any wedding they've ever been to". Jeep was so professional, easy to get in touch with at any time via phone or email or even text. He kept the dance floor packed..even with nearly 300 guests (including 30 children)!! We give Jeep and Bluedge productions five stars for making our wedding night so memorable, and stress free! After a whole month of researching the perfect Dj and entertainment company for our wedding, we were torn between our venue’s recommendation and Bluedge Productions. Their website and Jeep’s skills from his demo impressed us off the bat, but were still not convinced at that point. But after our meeting with Jeep we were sold. He was very knowledgeable and professional in his presentation, and we can tell he was very passionate about music. We really loved the promptness in communication and his willingness and flexibility to meet our demanding schedules.

Everything looked flawless during our first look on our wedding day. The up lighting was exactly what we wanted, and the flipbook was so much fun! Jeep injected humor in his announcement and really made the entire night fun and energetic. He played our jams and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire time. He even masterfully accommodated some obscure requests from my mom without killing the vibe!

Jeep, a huge thank you to you and your staff for an unforgettable night. We are so happy with everything. We highly recommend Jeep and bluEDGE Productions!

We are so happy we hired Bluedge for our wedding. The entire experience from initial contact to the end was fantastic. Jeep was always prompt with his replies and very helpful and thorough during planning.

On our wedding day, they showed up super early, and were very accommodating. I changed my mind on our uplighting color last min and they made the changes immediately. The music for the entire wedding was flawless. Jeep not only was able to incorporate our requests and last minute changes, he had everyone busting moves on the dance floor!. The photo booth was great too. Loved their props and Tyler was great with all my guests.

Would hire them again in a heart beat. Great work, and Thank you guys for making my wedding so much fun, and stress free!

We changed our date and our original photographer/friend canceled but, Quan connected us with RikkiWardPhotography on short notice. Our original DJ also canceled (we knew ahead of time) and Quan got DJ Halo to spin all the songs we wanted, including a few requests from our guests. Quan also had suggestions for reception lighting, entertainment, and time management that we had not thought of before. Made the whole event fun for everyone!

We just want to acknowledge the great work Jeep and the Bluedge team did for our wedding in December. Jeep was very professional and articulate in explaining the different package options, and answering our extensive list of questions. I was very appreciative of the fast response time for all of our emails and calls. He took the time to really understand our unique situation, and made sure all of our special requests where played. One word - AMAZING!
I hired BluEdge for a few services for my wedding – Photo Booth, DJ, and Lighting. Prices were reasonable - especially with the discount for multiple services. Communication was great - they always answered my emails/calls promptly and throughly, which is one of the many reasons why I chose them over other vendors. I worked with both Quan and Felix – such great people to work with – very accommodating, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Felix was our DJ – we did not give him much direction yet he did such a great job – people were dancing throughout the night which was evident people enjoyed the music he played! Quan and his staff set up the lighting - which included lanterns and string lights, and up lighting - they spent hours, which took place in the backyard in the blistering heat but he made sure everything looked perfect, functioned properly and most importantly made sure it was how I envisioned the space to look. I could not be happier with the final product - truly beautiful job! As for the photo booth, they offered the open space option which was what I was looking for. The photos looked great and there were also a variety of props that guests were able to use too!
I honestly cannot emphasize how wonderful BluEdge Productions was to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!

bluEDGE Productions did a wonderful job at our wedding! We used them for DJ, lighting and photobooth services. It was very conveinent to have one company handle so many things and they gave us a deal for bundling services which made their rates very fair and reasonable. DJ Quan did an excellent job as our DJ and MC! Everyone loved the music and our wedding turned into a huge dance party which is exactly what we wanted! They set up market lights for the dinner area and uplighting in the dance area and everything looked amazing! I hardly recognized the venue after they were done working their magic! They were very easy to work with, always responded to my emails promptly and Quan met me twice at the venue which was very helpful! This is a great group to work with and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ, lighting &/or photobooth!

DJ Quan is awesome!!! He kept the party going the whole night! He was such a pleasure to work with prior to the wedding as well. He was so optimistic about all of our plans and ideas. We had a bit of a mash up wedding as I am Cuban and my husband is Ukrainian so there was a crazy mix of music. DJ Quan played every song we requested at the perfect time and the mix of music was done perfectly. He worked very well with my wedding planner and the night went on without a single hiccup! bluEDGE Productions really made our wedding!! The music was perfect from beginning to end and Felix had the dance floor packed all night. We had a few last minute changes to our timeline and Felix was able to make the adjustments without missing a beat. Their up lighting was equally great. I changed my mind on the color during my first look, and they were very accommodating in making the changes. The photo booth was a huge hit at our wedding! The gold back drop came out beautifully in the pictures, and our guests had a bast with their prop selections. They were also very responsive, professional and accommodating throughout the entire experience. We highly recommend them!

DJ Quan really made our day easy and memorable. He was in charge of our wedding ceremony sound/music, cocktail hour music and and of course, what he does best, DJ for our dancing hours. From the beginning, he responded to our request promptly. We met up initially to talk about the tentative plan and he was very well organized. He brought out his outline and went through it with us, which has helped me organize the music for the day. We had some ethnic music (Korean pop), and he incorporated them well into our music list. His packages were a mid- to higher range compared to others, but it's totally worth it. You're paying for his experience in DJ and emcee in order to bring life to your party.

Bluedge productions ROCKED our wedding! We used them for Djing, Photobooth, and Lighting. Dj Quan aka Dj Quantum was great to work with during the planning and did a fabulous job keeping all of our guests on the dancefloor. We got a lot of compliments on the music from our family members and friends. The photobooth was a huge hit as well. Their team was very thoughtful and kept the booth open toward the end of the night so we could get a few pictures in with our relative from Germany. We were also very pleased with the lighting. They completely transformed the room with their uplights. I also appreciated the fact we only had to talk to one person to take care of all of these things. They really took a lot of the stress of planning off of our plate. Awesome job guys, we highly recommend them to anyone who loves to dance!

DJ Quan did a fanatic job at our wedding! He had lots of energy and transitioned smoothly between playing the right songs (for the right age groups). In the beginning, we had such a hard time looking for a professional DJ. Once we saw bluEDGE's website with reviews/videos, we knew we found our DJ! We met with DJ Quan and he was very professional, friendly, and helpful with providing us with advice and helpful music selection guides.

We also had the uplights in our package and we were impressed by how it transformed our space and made it look more elegant! The quote we got was very reasonable compared to other vendors that provided less hours or less lights. The service we received was incredible -we would totally recommend using bluEDGE!

We are so happy and pleased that we had Felix as our dj for our wedding. He is very flexible and will play songs from a genre or types of artists that you like, or he will literally play all the songs you ask him to play. We were very particular about the songs we wanted during dancing so we gave him our list, Persian songs included. He followed our list perfectly and mixed songs together too.

He is a real dj, not a wedding "dj" that hits play on his laptop and stands there twiddling his/her thumbs. He knows music and will provide you with song recommendations for the various parts of the wedding. Felix also is very patient and will never rush you when you are meeting with him. He really cares about you and making sure your wedding goes perfectly and the way you want it.

We also had Felix do our uplighting for us. His pricing was not beatable and neither was level of service, talent or knowledge.

How many weddings have you been to where more than half the guests are still dancing their faces off at midnight? Not that many. Do yourself a favor and book DJ Quan immediately. We had the majority of our guests still dancing when the lights came on. Without getting into all of the details, I will just say that I think he was the difference between having a beautiful wedding and beautiful wedding that was outrageously FUN! DJ Quan played the hits, read the crowd and what they were feeling and just went with it. I've already been thinking about how I could possibly use DJ Quan again! He's the BEST!!!!! Thank you Quan for making our day (and night) an absolute blast!

We love DJ Quan. He was referred to us by a friend who recently got married, and after our wedding other friends have already hired him for their weddings! We hired Quan for DJ/MC needs, as well as lighting. Throughout the wedding process, DJ Quan was one vendor that I did not have to worry about. He was prompt in responses and meetings, and actually made my wedding planning/wedding day life easier!! Overall extremely professional and excellent quality of services.
Lighting: His lighting quotes were very reasonable compared to others that we received. He set up string lighting over our outdoor dinner patio area, and even provided a quiet, hidden generator because our venue couldn’t handle the extra electricity needs. Indoor uplighting was also provided for our indoor dancing space.
DJ/MC’ing: Quan was very organized and followed the wedding timeline perfectly. Our dining MC needs were a little more complicated, since we had seated tables called to food trucks, but Quan assisted with flow and kept everything moving smoothly. Dancing was one of my favorite parts of the day, and the music was so good! I received many compliments and heard from multiple guests that they have never danced so much at a wedding. Quan’s amazing DJ skills kept the party going until the very end!

Quan, the DJ, was the best DJ we could ever ask for! His professionalism from his very specific questionnaire to our initial meeting to discuss what we had in mind to the very end of our wedding reception, and beyond, my husband and I raved about his exceptional follow-through during our honey weekend! 5 stars for excellent planning, communication and most importantly, execution!

We got married last year on a yacht - a great venue with multiple decks and unique acoustics. We selected BluEdge for our wedding DJ and photo booth and couldn't be happier with their services. We met with plenty of other DJs during our selection process but none were as professional and responsive as Quan with BluEdge. If you are looking for a top notch DJ that will get the party going, I highly recommend talking with these guys. They were friendly and willing to work around our budget. The photo booth and guest book were a fun way to capture the moments that we will remember for a lifetime.

When planning a wedding event, there are a lot of vendors to manage to make sure everything goes perfectly. BluEdge was easy to work with, prompt with their follow ups and really made the boat rock! Already recommending to our engaged friends and would recommend to anyone looking for a stellar DJ.

When we were searching for a DJ we also wanted someone who played great music and also did lighting as well. Out of everyone we talked to, Quan was very professional and his prices were reasonable. His music got everyone to go to the dance floor, he had a wide variety of song choices and transitions between songs were smooth.

We hired bluEDGE for lighting service for our wedding. Our wedding venue was a bit plain and boring but Quan and his team did an amazing job with the venue. From the beginning Quan was super responsive and friendly via email. Once I told him the reception venue, he quickly contacted the venue manager without me even having to request him doing so to discuss what he could or could not do in terms of lighting. I was extremely impressed by the initiative he took in doing that. Overall, he made the whole process very straight forward and easy for me. I sent him a few photos for ideas of what I hoped the place would look like and the place was beyond my expectation the day of. His team was prompt with setting up and was there an hour before the event ended ready to clean up. We could not have been happier with his lighting service and would highly recommend him !

I worked with Quan and bluEDGE Productions for my wedding, and I must say, of all the vendors we worked with, Quan and team were the absolute best. Quan made his services absolute seamless during the wedding process and took every request from myself and guests in stride.

During the wedding, Quan helped us with the music for our Mehndi Party (night before event), the Baraat, Wedding Ceremony, and Wedding Reception. He provided the DJ system, music, speakers, wiring, microphones, projection screen, and expertise. Before the event, I met with Quan multiple times to detail what I wanted, and he was extremely receptive in making the event happen. Most importantly, he understood what I was asking for. He provided insight form his experience when he thought it made sense, and it was extremely valuable.

The best part about Quan was his professionalism. During the preparation process, I sent multiple emails to Quan about types of music, events, and thoughts I had (probably more than 100 emails in total). Quan kept everything organized and handled. He understood what we were aiming for in our wedding, and was able to deliver. Our event was an Indian wedding, and Quan had the experience in running that. He provided Indian music at appropriate times, hip-hop/american music when appropriate, and understood all the flow.

Quan and team are extremely professional and an absolute delight to work with. I cannot recommend bluEDGE strongly enough. Music is such an important part of a wedding and/or event. Quan was absolutely the best money we spent.

DJ Quan is awesome. He played most of the songs that we asked in our playlist and added some music that I forgot to include but he remembered. Everyone in the wedding reception loved the music, and the dance floor was never empty. Everyone was jumping and jiving, no one wanted the music to end. We also engaged him for the uplighting in Dominic's at Oyster Point and we were very happy with the results!

We originally wanted to hire Quan but he was already booked. We were given several other Dj recommendations. I really liked the demo videos and interviews on their site, it gave us a good sense of the dj before even meeting them. We decided to go with Dj Mel. He was great to work with, very friendly and knowledgable, and prompt with all emails and calls. We had a few last minute changes on our wedding day but he was able to adjust to our requests without any wrinkles. He did a great job as our master of ceremony and dj. We had a few must plays and he got all of them into the night. The dance floor was packed and the music was awesome! Will absolutely recommend them!

I had my wedding in September of 2013 with bluEDGE Productions/DJ Quan working to provide music and sound throughout the whole event. From the beginning of the process (meeting with the DJ weeks before, discussing music and the planning of what would be played when) to the actual event itself, everything went as smooth as I could imagine. DJ Quan was friendly, professional, and patient with all our questions and requests. He was also very responsive and available to quickly answer phone calls and e-mails.

Most importantly, on the day of the wedding, everything happened according to plan, with no surprises. We have all been to weddings where there are minor blips (sound cutting out at wrong times, transitions that aren't smooth, volume too low/high etc) but this was not the case here.

The guests enjoyed the music, danced, and had a good time. The DJ'ing itself was expertly handled and the DJ's mixing and choice of music allowed all guests (we had a group of all ages, from kids to older folks) to have fun.

I can honestly say that I was entirely satisfied with the service provided by BluEDGE and DJ Quan, and highly recommend them.

Hi. This is a review to say how much we LOVED working with Dj Quantum and Bluedge productions for our wedding. We met him at my best friend’s wedding early last year. I really liked his energy and personality on the mic and once the dancing started I knew I really wanted to hire him for my wedding!

Of course we still did our research just to see what our options were, and admittedly we found a handful of Dj companies that were cheaper. But we are SOOO glad we went with Quan and his Bluedge crew. He really helped to lift a big chunk of the pressure off of us by taking care of the music, photobooth, and lights. Him and his staff really helped to make the entire planning process easier. They were always professional and prompt with emails and calls, and the form Quan sent us was very helpful in figuring out and organizing our playlist. On our wedding day they got everything set up early. The color for the lighting was exactly what I wanted and the photobooth was a blast! And the music was spot on! Everything flowed perfectly from our ceremony, to cocktail, to the reception. Quan nailed all the names and did a great job keeping us on schedule. When it came to party time, he kept our dance packed the whole night. Everyone was dancing, sweating and having a ball! We got so many complements on the music…Thank you Dj Quantum!

An amazing experience with DJ Quan and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a talented DJ and MC!

- Professional. Quan is an expert at what he does (both musically and logistically.. all the stuff leading up to the event). He walks you through step-by-step and he’s very responsive to questions. He puts in lots of time and detail into your event which is impressive considering how many DJ events he does!

- Bilingual. Quan was the DJ and MC for my wedding banquet. He spoke fluent English and Mandarin and did a fantastic job going back and forth between languages. His MC delivery was very personable and also added humor.

- Crowd pleaser. I got so many positive comments from my friends about the music and playlist- all thanks to Quan! He was able to combine 80’s, 90’s hip hop and country. I don’t know how he did it but it worked and people loved it!

Wish I could give 10 stars!!!! Quan is the best DJ I've EVER heard and I love music! He was my wedding DJ and was awesome in every way - professional, fun, easy to work with, flexible, attentive and the music at our wedding was fabulous! Many of our guests have told me that our wedding was the most fun wedding they've been to and its because of Quan's amazing DJ skills. Our dance floor was packed the entire time, my entire family, including my Grandma could not stop dancing. I kept meaning to leave the dance floor to talk to guests, but every time a song would end the next song would be even better - finally I came to the rationalization that if people wanted to hang out with me they'd have to find me on the dance floor. Quan was an amazing DJ and host for our wedding. He was very helpful from the planning stages all the way through the event's end. He was the first of our vendors to arrive, and the last to leave. He kept our schedule on track and was very flexible during the event when things did not go as planned. He was very catering towards our needs and what we wanted for our reception. We got married Aug 9th of this year. We used Bluedge Productions for Dj, lighting, and photo booth. They were very personable and accommodating from the start. Felix was our assigned Dj and MC. He did such a GREAT job! We are so pleased with his talent, and professionalism. He was very charming and knowledgeable when we first met him for our consultation. We had a list of questions and some concerns but he was able to answer all of our questions and really made us feel at ease to work with him.

On our wedding day, he showed up with his team early like promised and they did a superb job with the lights and our initials projected on the dance floor…it was perfect! The music and the transitions from our ceremony to cocktail hour to our reception were flawless. Felix really did an amazing job keeping things moving along and keeping us on track with our timeline. And the dancing was so much fun. He played all of our requests and also was able to work in our guest’s requests. My brides maids and I kept running back and forth between the photo booth and dance floor. It was the best night of my life! Thank you Dj Felix and the bluedge team…We will absolutely recommend you guys to our friends and family! Best of luck for the future.

We hired Bluedge for djing and photobooth for our wedding and we are so happy we went with them!! Dj Quan did an amazing job! He kept everything flowing and had all of our guests on their feet dancing all night! The music was so awesome even my dad and grandma where dancing and neither of them like to dance...and the photobooth was so much fun we get a kick out of the pictures every time we look through our scrapbook!

Our friend hired them for their wedding last year and recommended we give them a call. I'm so glad I did because at the time we were already thinking of going with the dj our venue had recommended...but my husband was not sold on the venue recommendation since the dj had no sample mixes (we are both music lovers and love to dance!). So once we saw the video demos on the bluegde site we were pretty much sold!..lol We contacted them and they were very professional and prompt in their responses. We met with Quan and immediately liked his personality. We had a bunch of questions and concerns and he was able to address all of them and set our mind at ease. He also send us a guide that really helped in figuring out songs for our wedding. To be honest we had no idea there was so much to think about but he really made it a lot easier!

Looking back we are really glad we went with Bluedge productions. Although they were a bit pricier than the company our venue had recommended, it was well worth it. We really feel they played a huge part in making our wedding a huge success. Thank you guys for making our wedding so fun, and care free! We would definitely hire them again for future events=)

DJ Quan is A M A Z I N G. We hired him for our wedding and we could not have been happier. Our first meeting with him put us at ease amidst all the wedding stress - he was very professional and reassured us that he would help us through the entire process. He was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions and even provided us with a wedding worksheet that made choosing all the music very simple and organized.

On the day of the wedding, he worked alongside my wedding coordinator and things ran so smoothly. The MC'ing was great - he kept up the energy and wasn't boring like other DJ's I've heard at past weddings. We ordered the additional lighting package and I'm so glad I did. It added to the overall ambiance of our venue and guests were so impressed.

Last but def. not least - the music was incredible. We had guests that NEVER dance get up and join in on the fun. He kept the energy and fun going the entire night.

I first heard DJ Quan when one of my friends had hired him for an event in Portland, Oregon in 2011. I was so impressed with him at the event, that when I became engaged last year, I called him to DJ/MC our event in South Lake Tahoe, CA. To us, music would be one of the most important parts of our wedding. He was flexible, and told us it would be no problem to make the drive from San Francisco to Tahoe.

Quan was always available to talk about our "vision,", and wanted nothing more than to make sure we got the exact experience we wanted. He was professional before, during, and after the event, he was on time, and had additional offerings to his portfolio that added great ambiance to our event. The uplighting we chose added a great visual dynamic to the room.

One of our friends had brought a CD of latin music to the reception to incorporate with our songs, and Quan was such a pro, that I didn't know until afterwards that he hadn't prepped with it before the reception! Quan can adapt to anything, just tell him what you want. He has a true talent for blending music.

No eggageration, in the days since our wedding, guests aged from 21-70 have all commented that the music was amazing, and that he was the only DJ they'd ever heard who could seamlessly flow music from the 70's and 80's to today. While i already knew this, no one wanted the party to end!!! It made me happy that all ages could get into the music, not just the 20-somethings.

I would recommend DJ Quan for any event where you want the music be the lifeblood of your event. I hope to have another event to hire him again.

Amazing outcome.

- Personal interview, open dialog communication via email, text, phone call, and meeting beyond reproach.
- Professionalism and mannerism is his forte, the whole package was the shiznet for my wedding.
- Understood the flow and vibe received by the audience and turned his MC skills with positive energy.
- With dj quan and his wing man Moses, we had an awesome time. You've got to start and end with a bang, that's how dj quan does it, makes your wedding memorable!
- You cannot have a wedding without Up-lighting sets for your wedding. If you don't, it will look like boo boo and you cannot go out the night after spending all that money and not have up lighting sets. You will regret it if you don't get the up-lighting sets! So, get it!
- I had quan and his mad scientist (designer) made two gobo templates for my wedding, absolutely gorgeous. One on the Floor and one on the wall. You've got to get yourself at least one of these. http://Gobo.com this is the biggest night of your life! Nothing else matters. So book his production now!

Choosing DJ Quan for our reception was one of the best decisions we made for the event. At a high level he was:

- Available to answer any/all questions
- Extremely professional in his communication and approach
- Reasonably priced, especially considering what you get for the investment
- Timely
- There to meet us prior to the event to make sure our needs were met
- Making sure the flow of the evening was perfect
- Keeping everyone on the dance floor, young and old

Many of our guests enjoy Bollywood music and we also wanted to include mashups, and top-40/hip-hop. Not an easy task, but DJ Quan not only met the challenge but crushed it! We received many compliments both during the event and after. I highly recommend DJ Quan for any event.

Quan and the BlueEdge team were fantastic! Quan was communicative and extremely supportive, listening to our general ideas for what we were looking for (for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing), and he completely came through! We just wanted a huge dance party and DJ QUAN delivered!!!! He never let the dance floor lull and kept everyone going until the end. Many of our guests were even begging fore more at the end of the night. He was also a fantastic MC and kept us on schedule. The lighting was gorgeous!!! He has a outgoing personality and you can really tell he enjoy what he does! It was professional through and through, even the webcam date to finalize things!

We have a VERY specific music choices we wanted to be played from prelude to the last dance. DJ James of bluEdge was easy-going, very organized, and assuring. He's also an amazing and entertaining MC. He had to play music in 3 different areas of our venue and he did it seamlessly. All our wedding guests were extremely impressed with him. He got EVERYONE dancing and he kept the party going until the end. DJ Jeep who was my first contact at bluEdge was very responsive, professional and helpful until after the wedding. DJ Quan is awesome! BluEdge Productions provided music and photo booth for our wedding in Berkeley in August. The entire process was great, from the first meeting to the numerous emails up to the actual day of the wedding. You can tell that Quan is experienced and knows what he is doing. He provided a lot of guidance with timeline, song selection and event flow. At the actual day, he took charge of sticking to the timeline and when we ran behind schedule was quick to make suggestions to adapt. Quan is polite and generally a really nice person. At the reception, the guy knew exactly how to draw the older crowd on to the dance floor in the early hours, and deliver our style of music to rock the party later in the evening. Awesome night, awesome guy, 5 stars!

DJ Quan is more than a DJ; he was the lifeline of our party. For receptions, music and the flow are key to keeping the energy upbeat, and he met an exceeded all expectations by executing seamless transitions from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. Our guests (ranging from teenagers to young adults to 60-70 year olds [and even my 95 year old grandmother!]) were on the dance floor all night! The only complaint I have is that our night ended too soon and the party had to end. I would highly recommend him if you want a fun and energetic atmosphere.

The photobooth was also AWESOME! Everyone had tons of fun with all the unique props that bluEdge provides. It was definitely worth the investment because we have all the photobooth pictures to look back on for years to come.

As a photographer, I have worked with and heard a lot of DJs. I was the second photographer for DJ Quantum's wedding. Despite being the groom, he was totally on top of coordinating details for his wedding. So when it came time for my own wedding, Quan was at the top of my list. I loved his demo; not only the music selection but the actual mixing! I have been to weddings where "DJs" just press play on their iPods and transitions between songs are choppy or mismatched. Quan put us both at ease. He was professional, courteous, friendly, confident, and capable. A week before the event, Quan conferred with me about our Ceremony and Reception timeline. He helped our friend with her MC duties and accommodated my special request to find the music for a surprise song to sing to my husband. He provided valuable input on uplighting our event. The day before the wedding, Quan called me to go over last-minute details. The day of the wedding, Quan arrived with plenty of time to set up and confer with the MC. The transition between pieces for the Ceremony was perfectly timed. Our Mad Men style wedding was wonderfully complemented by Quan's music selections for cocktail hour. Quan did a great job pacing the introductions at our reception as well as pronouncing difficult names. Throughout the night, he checked in as our timeline became more elastic. He kept things running and made sure to coordinate with the photographers so they could capture toasts, cake cutting, my song, and the first dance. (We had a fog machine that Quan's team was more than happy to man for us!) I didn't put Gangnam Style on our play list, but Quan thought to play it and the kids went wild! It was super cute and one of my favorite moments at the reception. Quan and his team were happy to play for as long as we wanted, but paced themselves and knew when to wind things down. My wedding is a beautiful blur of wonderful memories - one of which is that the dance floor was full and everyone had a wonderful time.

Great and affordable DJ

We and our guests loved DJ King James at our wedding. The dance floor was packed from start until the end of the night. He did a nice job setting up the uplighting as well. He was also super chill and flexible to work with. We received numerous compliments about the DJ from our guests. I’m shocked how affordable BluEdge is–they did our lighting, ceremony microphones and music, cocktail hour music, dinner music, and dance DJing all for a very reasonable price.

DJ Quan and bluEdge productions was a fantastic part of our wedding. We were planning our special day from overseas, which made things especially difficult (we live in Singapore-- wedding in California). All of our coordination and planning came down to a handful of Skype conversations and then a series of frantic meetings one week before the wedding. We met Quan briefly on Skype and immediately clicked with his sense of style and knowledge of how to get a party going. We were also encouraged that he was a proud UC Berkeley Cal Bear.

When we met Quan in person he helped us solidify the music and plans for our day and in many ways helped to gel the sequence of events. We had a wonderful conversation that night while working out a very detailed song list and set of logistics for the AV needs. Quan made it a point to stay in touch, but not obtrusively, over the next week to keep us up to date. When the event came, Quan and bluEdge performed at 110%-- we found out later that disaster had struck and Quan had his car broken into. Despite losing all of the wedding plans on his iPad, he reconstructed our entire song list and AV itinerary from memory.

The wedding and party afterwards was a big success and all of the AV was well covered. Quan was a great MC and found the perfect balance to keep the guests entertained whilst keeping us on schedule for all the speeches, etc. The photobooth that bluEdge provided was also a big hit and gave our guests a great memento to bring home from the day. All in all, my wife and i were very impressed with Quan and his team for their professionalism, attentiveness and commitment to us as customers.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Quan from bluEDGE productions for our May 2014 Wedding. Every single thing about working with him was amazing. When we first reached out, he got back to us promptly with a time to meet and samples of his work. We met with him early - he asked great questions and gave us everything we needed to help him understand our style and flow of the event. He has DJ'd a ton of different events and thus has an amazing musical repertoire,a great knowledge base, and wonderful MCing skills. In terms of music, we needed a combination of latin music, current top 40, party favorites, and things my folks would love. He did not disappoint - not only did he please everyone, but he mixed and mashed in a way that made everyone feel like they were in an amazing club rather than a cheesy wedding. SO many people came up to us and commented on how incredible he was! Quan also helped us make the space incredible. He did beautiful digital uplighting all over our space to match our colors, ran market lights across the ceiling, and we used bluEdge for our amazing photobooth. What was most memorable was the way Quan and his crew went above and beyond in everything they did. They were always prompt to respond, they came earlier than needed to make sure they were set up and even helped our wedding planner with last minute setup and takedown. I would recommend Quan and his crew to ANYONE!

We are super happy about having Quan DJ/MC at our wedding. Everything was super organized, and I felt we communicated well. We wanted certain genres to be played and Quan delivered. We were on the fence about doing wedding games on the day of and Quan was so accommodating. We ended up not doing games but he was great about checking in with us. We also asked for the wedding to be bilingual (Mandarin & English) and Quan did that as well! Highly recommended.

We picked their DJ/MC, Photobooth and Lighting services package. Make sure to always check your contract and talk to your DJ with all the details, as we had some issues with the Photobooth (we chose closed photobooth, but on the day of, they had the photobooth open to public), minor issues with song transitions and ceremony songs.

Quan was very helpful during the planning process. Fun Dj that played a wide selection of the genres that we wanted at our wedding. He mced for us as well though it was not his forte. We were partially to blame as I think we did not go over some things before. But an over all positive review.

Conflicted

So we're a bit conflicted about our experience with bluEdge. We were very excited they offered a combination of photobooth and DJ services. We booked DJ Quan, having listened to a few of his samples. We also were drawn to his lighter touch approach to MCing. Our conversations with Philippe, though a bit disorganized, made us feel we were going to get everything we wanted from them. We loved that we could have a custom designed layout for the photobooth prints. As we got closer to the event it became difficult to contact them. Questions we sent via email would take a long time to get a response, and they wouldn't always answer our questions. The honeybook website they use for correspondence was awful. We asked several times to speak with Quan directly, and those usually got no response. Two weeks before our wedding we weren't really sure if they'd show up or not. Then, with a week to go, we were able to get on the phone with Quan and we felt better about the situation again. He was very organized, asked us a lot of questions about how we wanted the reception timeline to go: introductions, first dance, parents dance, etc. Then, the day before our wedding Quan threw out his back, and would not be MCing our reception. We were assured via email that Philippe and Gary would replace him as MC and DJ respectively. Having talked through a lot of specifics just days prior with Quan, we wanted to get on the phone to make sure all of these were passed along. We could tell they meant well, and really wanted to make sure we had the experience we wanted, but they were not nearly as organized as Quan. Come the reception, we met the team. They were all very nice, and were looking to give us an amazing night. However, our first dance was cut short, transitioning to the father daughter/mother son dance halfway through. This was not part of the plan and led to some confusion. We're still a little disappointing we didn't get to complete our first dance. The reception music started off a bit slow before picking up later in the evening. We all had a very good time dancing. Also, the photobooth was a huge hit and we have spent hours looking and laughing at all of the proofs online. Overall, we had an excellent night and appreciated their effort, despite some unexpected hiccups.

Looking back at all the vendors we booked, BluEDGE Productions was the only "flaw" in our wedding. We decided to book DJ Quan for our wedding over a year in advance. We booked him for DJ/MC, uplighting, monogram lighting, and photo booth. Booking him was very easy and he was responsive to all my calls and emails. My husband and I decided to book him specifically because he could speak Chinese and we wanted him to translate during the reception to all of our Chinese relatives. We met with him in person for a few hours at a nearby Starbucks and he gave us samples of his work. We also discussed a tentative timeline and he explained how he would keep the party going. He definitely talked up a big game so we were very confident in booking him.

Come the wedding day, he played the music for the ceremony. Everything was fine there. However, when we did the grand entrance for our reception, the music stopped working for our entrance! And instead of pumping up the crowd, he awkwardly tried to press buttons as everyone stared at me and my husband standing in front of the whole room in silence. Luckily, our videographer and photographer prompted us to enter and play along. For the speeches, he only had one microphone. So after each speech, DJ Quan had to walk back and forth passing the microphone to the new speaker. Why couldn't he have brought 2 microphones with him to prevent the lag time and awkwardness of him walking back and forth? Finally, we did not have our monogram projected on the dance floor as we had asked. He explained at the end of the night that he ordered it, but it did not come in in time. Which basically tells me he forgot to order it in time even though we booked him well over a year in advance. He did offer us a refund on that portion. Oh, and one more thing...he did not speak any Chinese the whole night! That was the whole reason why we booked him!!
