An absolute angel!
Katherine is AMAZING. All of my bridefolk just immediately fell in love with her artistry, her body positivity, and- most importantly- her kindness.
She was punctual, professional, communicative, fun, and compassionate!
One of my poor bridefolk fell SEVERELY ill the morning of the wedding. Katherine not only comforted her with the rest of us while my poor friend was hooked up to a hydrating emergency IV in our bridal suite; Katherine did my friend's makeup while she'd laid down to recover! I credit Katherine's kindness and flexibility in helping my friend not only relax so she could recover and feel well enough to party with us, but with also making my dearest friend look and feel as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside.
I struggle with my appearance, but I felt like a queen hearing excited gasps and happy sobs walking down the aisle. My husband was absolutely beaming with pride and, more importantly, so was I. Katherine will transform you into an absolute queen.

Katherine was amazing of my wedding day. She did my makeup, my mothers and maid of honor and we all loved how each of ours turned out. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. It was pretty humid out the day we got married. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception and my hair lasted most of the night, which is saying a lot because I have very thick and heavy hair. Would definitely recommend her to future brides :)

Everything about Katherine was wonderful! She responded to me very quickly and was on time. She was so friendly and knew exactly how to glam me up without looking overdone. I wanted my makeup and hair to be done for a cousin’s wedding. I felt gorgeous and everyone said I looked stunning!! Both stayed gorgeous for hours, even though the ceremony was outside in 90 degrees plus heat. I highly recommend her, you will not regret it.

Katherine did my makeup for a boudoir shoot yesterday! She was on time, quick, listened to me, did WhT I wanted but also knew what would look good on me! I believe in giving artists their own creativity so I’m an easy going client (or so I believe). She was friendly, easy to talk to, and extremely professional. If I had to do my wedding (or anything needing a HMUA) again, I would definitely book her a million and one times. Worth every Penny!

I didnt have time to schedule a trial because I booked so last minute. Katherine was so accommodating she came early the morning of and consulted me on my hair and makeup so I felt comfortable with my options. She was absolutely wonderful and a great personality. I worked with Katherine for a boudoir session to celebrate my birthday and she was amazing!! I was the first appointment of the day and she not only made me look refreshed and beautiful, but chatted with me during my time and calmed any nerves I had. I am not someone who likes having my photograph taken. So when I was going to be on that side of the camera, I knew my choice in hair and makeup was super important.
I would recommend Katherine a hundred times over! Not only did she make my skin look smooth and clear, it highlighted my best asset, my eyes. It was also my first time with false lashes, so she picked the perfect set for someone not used to them. She promised I wouldn’t feel them after a little bit and she was right. I didn’t want to take them, or my makeup off!!

Katherine is amazing. I never felt as beautiful as when she did my makeup for my big day! Not only that- she is super friendly and easy to get along with. All of my bridesmaids were so pleased with their hair and makeup. She is affordable and accommodating. I have nine bridesmaids and didn't want to start services at the crack of dawn. Katherine worked with me to add as many artists as we needed to make it work for my schedule. She was always prompt and accommodating...she answered my zillion questions no matter how silly!! She even offered drive home and come back to bring jewels for my hair when I decided to wear it up last minute because of the heat! My hair and makeup lasted ALL night! Katherine did an amazing job. Make up did not move the entire night, I think my first lip touch up was right before the end of the night, even after the first kiss my lip stayed perfect. Katherine is a PRO!
Katherine is such a joy to work with! I believe I found Katherine and her company, Bluebird Brides, through an instagram hashtag and am so happy I stumbled upon her work! From start to finish she was so helpful and friendly which was reassuring as I'm not someone who has ever hired someone for hair and makeup services.
During my initial trial, Katherine was so patient with me as I had her redo certain parts of the makeup that made me feel overdone. On the wedding day she crushed it and I felt at ease knowing that Katherine was eager to hear my feedback if anything felt off for my ideal look. Ultimately, I couldn't be happier with how my wedding hair and makeup turned out.
Additionally, Katherine let me add my mom to the HMU schedule for the wedding day when my mom decided she wanted a pro to do her hair so she didn't have to worry about it. I've never seen my mom feel so beautiful, and I thank Katherine for being so kind and easygoing in the process.
I could not recommend Katherine more highly, she's the best!

I was absolutely blown away by Bluebird Brides from the first moment I spoke with Katherine! She wasso professional and down to earth! Katherine was absolutely AMAZING! I can't possibly say enough good things about her and the work she does. She came to my house for the hair and makeup trial and was extremely friendly and fun to be around. On the day of she brought the same fun energy and easy going attitude and all my bridesmaids loved working with her. For makeup I wanted a more natural makeup look (the "no makeup makeup look") that allowed my freckles to show, accented my eyes, and made me look like me just slightly more glamorous. I was stunned with how natural and beautiful the makeup was! Her assistant, who did most of the makeup for my bridesmaids, also did a fantastic job. Everyone was saying how they still looked like themselves and didn't feel like they had makeup caked on. Katherine was equally skilled with hair and exceeded my expectations. We all look fabulous and got tons of compliments! Katherine and her assistant also worked efficiently and everyone was done early with plenty of time to spare. Finally, she was punctual with communication and well organized during the planning process. I would 1,000% recommend her to anyone looking for hair and makeup for their wedding!!!

Katherine is an excellent and attentive makeup and hair stylist! When it turned out that I needed her earlier than later she was very accommodating in changing our appointment last minute. Although we were under some time constraints she still finished a full professional makeup application that I was more than happy with.
She carries a full makeup kit and even brings her own lighting just incase your home or venue doesn't have the best light. We did a very classy and glamorous look for my event! Would definitely recommend to any friend or bride in need of an amazing stylist such as Katherine.
