Gorgeous Flowers!
I highly recommend Jeff from Blue Vanda Designs! The flowers were gorgeous and I was truly wow'ed when I saw them. My guests continue to talk about how they were the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen and how the room smelled so good from all the flowers!
Jeff was very responsive and helped throughout the entire process. I am located abroad so the communication via Zoom and email was very important to me. When I spoke with about Jeff my vision, he was honest about costs and expectations - however was flexible when I asked to repurpose my Chuppah flowers and use them for our sweetheart table and around the cake.
Our ceremony and dinner was in the same hall in the Crystal Room at the Willard hotel - with only one hour to rearrange the room during Cocktail Hour. The teams were able to create magic and rearrange the room in time - with enough time for us to do a "first look room reveal" without all the guests. When I saw the room, Jeff created an even more beautiful style than I could imagine!
During my tasting at the venue, I was able to meet Jeff for the first time. He surprised us with having a beautiful sample centerpiece that I was even able to bring home.
There is no need to look at any other vendor - only go with Blue Vanda - you will have everything you dreamed and fully feel like a princess on your wedding day. -

Saying that Jeff is an artist does not even give him enough credit. Flowers were soooo important to me for my wedding, I always a believed that flowers are the make or break of a wedding and the ambiance and he gave me exactly what I dreamt , and more! Even when I had my stressed bridezilla moments , discussing Pantone shades :)) - he was so helpful and understanding! He is amazing , his flowers are amazing , his super fast communication is amazing and it’s a no brainer to work with him for anything flower related! Thank you Blue Vanda, so, so much! -

Working with Jeff was a dream!
Jeff was an absolute dream to work with! He really listened to my vision and produced something even more beautiful than I had imagined! Words can’t describe how amazing everything was the day of the wedding.
Even before the wedding day, Jeff was always my favorite and most trusted vendor. He was consistently very quick to respond to all communication, and always transparent, which as a bride was huge! I wish I could have another wedding just to work with Jeff again.
I received so many compliments on the florals from my wedding! I absolutely loved every detail he created! -

I was planning my niece's wedding and was referred to Jeff by a friend, who had just engaged him for her daughter's wedding. When I saw the photos of the beautiful florals, I just had to know the florist!
The wedding at The Belvedere was wonderful, the flowers spectacular!!! Everyone commented on how stunning the centerpieces, bouquets and chuppah we're.

Jeff is a true visionary - he delivered above and beyond expectations and truly transformed my ceremony and reception venue. The bouquets were absolutely amazing - plenty of big blossoms and tons of texture through different florals and greenery - as requested. Jeff was amazing to work with and even came to the venue with me months in advance to scope out the space and understand my vision. He is incredibly responsive, professional, and honest about the vision. Would HIGHLY recommend Jeff for anyone looking for florals that will steal the show! -

Jeff at Blue Vanda from the start was professional, friendly and truly had an eye & vision of what I wanted for my big day. He created an ambiance of romance, elegance and modernism that went well beyond my expectations! My husband and I were completely blown away when we saw our ceremony/reception spaces. I sent him a few images of the look I was going for, and what he created went above and beyond my wildest dreams. Im not the easiest person to please and he had me completely and utterly speechless. He has the most creative eye, such immense talent, and a calming presence to boot. He is so kind and warm, he made me feel so comfortable and confident that I was in great hands. He made my wedding day absolutely perfect - and for that I am FOREVER grateful. Jeff, you are amazing - THANK YOU.

Allie Sent on 01/02/2018I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to how wonderful it was to work with Jeff! I’ll start with Jeff himself: Jeff was beyond a pleasure to work with and when I had some issues with other vendors, he truly made us feel that he was always on our side and he helped us fix some non-floral issues too, for which we are forever grateful.
He is a genuinely wonderful person and this made the overall planning process a breeze! Jeff not only helped with our floral arrangements, but with the overall design of the whole event too and everything far surpasssed our wildest dreams! And unlike many other florists, Jeff was there setting up the whole time and oversaw everything. His team was excellent as well!
In terms of the actual flowers, I always had a pretty clear view of what I wanted for my wedding, and from the start Jeff totally got my “vision.” He was always available to chat when I wanted to discuss possible changes, and he always offered extremely helpful and honest advice. I never doubted that the arrangements would come out gorgeous, but I couldn’t even believe how incredible everything turned out. Jeff added in details that I didn’t even know I wanted!
Aside from the GORGOUS work Jeff and his team does, I couldn’t recommend a better person to work with! -

First, Jeff is simply amazing. He's patient, personable, and just makes you feel so comfortable. We understood that he had other weddings, but we never felt like we were just a number on his roster of for the summer. He was always easy to reach by email and phone. Most importantly, his work is exquisite. Most of our Pinterest inspiration pins were actually his (or his family's) designs, so we knew we were in good hands. Jeff worked with us on how to achieve our dream look within our budget. He worked with us on the selection of flowers, the design of the ceremony, and the design of the reception. He was also very honest and transparent about pricing.
Our first time seeing the design come to life was in the moment. (We ran out of time to peek downstairs before the wedding). We were blown away!!! Everything was STUNNING!!! Jeff was even there on our special day to make sure everything was perfect. He didn't pass it off to an assistant or 3rd party. It was so nice to see him right before walking out through the curtains. Also our guests kept telling us how gorgeous everything looked. Overall, if we could, we'd give Blue Vanda 6 out of 5 stars.
We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Jeff! The best in the city! :)

He created the most incredible flower designs that I have ever seen and that my guests had ever seen. they are still calling me nearly 2 weeks after the wedding to talk about how gorgeous the flowers were. Jeff was able to capture my vision in a matter of minutes and was available to me whenever I needed to talk to him. He can get flowers that are not in season and his flowers last forever. He can literally do anything and he executes it with absolute perfection. He even last minute created my rehearsal dinner flowers when I asked him just 6 days prior to my rehearsal dinner!
He is an absolute genius and I felt privileged to have him design the flowers for my wedding. He knows how to create your dream wedding and truly LISTENS to you. He is unlike other top florists in that he makes you the #1 priority vs. other high end florists who care only about the bottom line and will be working on multiple weddings or events at the same time. Jeff will focus entirely on your wedding and won't double book your event with anyone else. He actually cares about you and your family and it shows. He is a dream and I wish I could work with him again!! If these words don't do him justice please see my photos!! -

Robyn Sent on 11/02/2017Jeff is truly a gem. From the first time we met until my wedding on 10/28/17, Jeff was friendly, responsive, and reassuring. I changed my mind a few times about my vision for the flowers on my wedding day, and Jeff could not have been more accommodating. He made me several samples and continued to tweak the design until we had a plan with which I felt confident. My rehearsal dinner flowers (white flowers with crisp greens in modern vases) looked AMAZING. But I was even more blown away on my wedding day. I had asked Jeff to capture the look of fall with deep burgundies and a few pops of blush. I had also asked Jeff to make the centerpieces look less uniform and a bit more wild. Wow! We could not have loved the flowers more. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the beautiful chuppah, bouquets, and centerpieces. Jeff truly hit this one out of the park. Jeff was the perfect person to execute our vision and an absolute dream to work with. If you're looking for an attentive florist with some serious design skills and a great personality, look no further than Blue Vanda Designs!

I have had nonstop comments about "the flowers" at our rehearsal dinner and our wedding since our event last weekend and how people have never seen such displays before. I am a gardener and love flowers and being an older bride have seen many venues and many weddings... As have many of my guests who were just breathtaken by the displays. (From CA, NY, DC) It was the most amazing and beautiful display of flowers ever.. and he was exactly on target with what I envisioned. and MORE. Anything I wanted he said "we can do it" he involved me in every step of the process and made sure it was what I wanted. He offers you many options and involves you in the design process. all I can say is WOW WOW WOW....... Both of my venues were very impressed with the flowers and how amazing they were - Caves Valley Golf Course and BCC, both venues which are "used to " wonderful flowers normally - but the staff couldn't stop talking about the flowers. MOST OF ALL--- I LOVED THE FLOWERS - it was all I dreamed of for my wedding to the man of my dreams. Thank you Jeff for everything. -

Allison Sent on 10/04/2014We were referred to Jeff by the Park Hyatt in Washington DC because he is a highly recommended preferred vendor with them. After working with them I can definitely tell why he is. His work is beyond beautiful. I could not have asked for more beautiful flowers at my wedding. I still have guests tell me how remarkable every design aspect of the flowers was.
It was a pleasure working with Jeff and his team and I would encourage others to use him!
