Amber is the BEST!!

Let me just start by saying Amber at Blue Sky Ceremony is the BEST!!!!! My fiancé and I were nervous about planning a destination wedding in a place we have never been and Amber made it so easy every step of the way! She dedicated so much time to us with helping to find vendors and create a decor plan to make my wedding dreams come to life! Amber and her team made my wedding day run so smoothly, I had the most absolutely perfect day! She is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone!

Perfect wedding experience!

Amber of Blue Sky Ceremony did a perfect job in organizing our wedding on the beach from the professional planning and communication beforehand with excellent suggestions for location, flowers, photographer, champagne toast, music of our choice, small dinner reception on the beach and making sure all went perfectly on the evening of the wedding. Amber’s husband, Mike, was our officiant and he performed a lovely ceremony that was just what we wanted. We cannot speak more highly of Blue Sky Ceremony!!!!

Don't call the cruise line, call Amber!!

We got married today!! All I can say is thank you!! Thank you for EVERYTHING! Amber answered my multiple emails promptly. She called me and her communication was top notch! We changed things and she just did everything she could to make it all happen, and she did!! My husband and I are very thankful for Amber and her staff! The officiant was amazing, professional and very articulate. I'd give her 100 stars if I could. Amber put it all together on a very short notice. If you need a great wedding planner who pays attention to what you ask for, email her. No need to look anywhere else. Also listen to her suggestions EVERYTHING turned out AMAZING!!!

Villa Serenita Wedding

June 9th, 2024 was the most magical day of my life, and I have Amber and team from Blue Sky Ceremony to thank for that. My husband and I were married at Villa Serenita, and Amber was the person I was put in contact with when booking the villa for my stay and event. Upon requesting event information, I received an email loaded with tons of wedding planning information from timeline suggestions, to vendor recommendations and everything in between. I had tons of questions and I swear that “information packet” answered 90% of my upfront questions and put me at ease knowing that I had someone who truly knew what they were doing. After reading through all the information I scheduled a call with Amber so we could get to know each other and she could get a sense of what we were envisioning for our wedding day. Her laid back and fun personality kept me calm and she was always on top of things. She kept everything organized for me in an invoice which was perfect to keep my brain organized as I worked with vendors in the planning process. She had me create a Pinterest board so she had a visual concept of what I was picturing in my head, and we scheduled multiple calls throughout 9 months to ensure we were on the same page. The wedding day came before I knew it. Being the bride, I had very little control of anything going on while I was hiding away from the groom and everyone else. She came and greeted me and let me know everything was going as planned, and multiple friends were texting me letting me know she was fabulous in getting the wedding set up and getting people where they needed to be. I was a little anxious and Amber reminded me to relax, have a glass of wine, and enjoy my pre-wedding time, which I so desperately needed. The day, from beginning to end, was FLAWLESS. Also, Amber’s team was incredibly helpful throughout the day keeping us on track with our timeline. They were all so sweet, and had smiles on their faces at all times. It’s little things like that which brought me such peace while my emotions were in a whirlwind. I would recommend Blue Sky Ceremony to any couples looking to get married in the beautiful USVI. You won’t be disappointed. P.S. - Amber is married to a popular officiant on the islands - Island Mike! I had inquired about him before even knowing, only to find out she’s married to him! So that made booking our officiant all the easier. Thank you Amber & team of Blue Sky Ceremony for the astonishingly beautiful and fun wedding you helped us put on. Our guests can’t stop talking about that day in paradise.

Professional and easy to work with

Amber and her associate were awesome!!! They were very professional and handled everything perfect for our special day. We had planned our wedding in October of 2017 & the hurricanes came. We rescheduled & got married on 2-15-18. It still makes me tear up to think of it because it was absolutely perfect & beautiful!! I was so nervous bc I was in TN & I was planning the wedding to the man I love in St. Thomas, BUT let me tell you if you use Amber I promise you it will be PERFECT! Even my husband said our wedding was perfect. He tells everyone that’s getting married that they should do exactly what we did & they need to get with me to tell them who to get in contact with! It was just me & my husband that was there. It was very personal! Absolutely perfect. We got married at Magen’s Bay! I highly suggest there. Also, Mango photography did our pictures & they were wonderful! Our photographer was wonderful! Thank you Amber!!!!

Blue Sky Ceremony will not let you down. Amber was awesome. Our transportation was early and waiting for us when we got off the ship. They walked us inside to where we needed to go and get the license paperwork. We got to the beach and Amber was there waiting patiently. The cake we got was absolutely delicious, and the photographer she recommended (The Mangoworks) was amazing as well. Our photos were ready for viewing after a couple days. The location on Magen's Bay was beautiful. It was well worth having a wedding planner even for our very small intimate ceremony, she gave us pointers on where to stand and what to do for the cake cutting etc. She was a huge help. When everything was done she even walked all the way back to the main area to hail us a ride back to the ship so my Father-in-law wouldn't have to walk all the way back. Sometimes it's the little things that matter the most. You won't go wrong with Amber and Blue Sky Ceremony!

Amber is absolutely amazing. There are not enough nice words in the English language to describe how amazing she is. She took the few things that I new that I liked and wanted and built and entire gorgeous wedding around it. She took all the hassle out of everything. I constantly had people asking me if I was busy or stressed with all the wedding planning and I would say "What wedding planning?" Because Amber was doing everything for me. The day was absolutely perfect and everything went off without a hitch (well to my knowledge ;). Amber was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone getting married, especially if you can't visit the island beforehand. Just trust that whoever Amber books for you will be perfect! PS Order the coconut shrimp. Literally the best coconut shrimp we have ever had!

We cannot begin to thank Amber enough! I submitted an inquiry on her website and heard from her within a matter of hours. I feel like I barely had to do anything to make my wedding perfect! I had my family and friends asking me if they could do anything to help me prepare and there was nothing that needed to be done. After a few phone calls where we discussed budgets and wants/needs she gave me an assignment; she gave us a few photographers to look at and immediately put us into contact with one who was amazing, gave us a list of cake options to choose from (all of which sounded delicious), and told me to update a Pinterest board with bouquets and ceremony decorations that I liked. She ran with my wants and Pinterest photos and worked with vendors to get the cake and bouquets/boutonnieres. The cake was possibly one of the best I have ever tasted and the flowers were perfect. We were arriving to St Thomas via cruise ship and would only be docked for 7 short hours. Amber was super helpful in creating a schedule and arranging transportation for our party of 42 to get to Magen's Bay Beach and back to the ship after the wedding was complete. Amber and her husband/the officiant, Mike, set up the beach area and made everything look absolutely stunning. We got so many compliments and everyone was commenting how great the entire ceremony and mini reception we had afterwards was. I would definitely recommend Amber for your wedding! My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to her more the day we were there!

I contacted Amber seeking recommendations for musicians for my wedding reception. My partner and I are handling most details of our wedding, so I was concerned a wedding planner may be unwilling to suggest referrals. Instead, Amber graciously and gladly offered suggestions and phone numbers for contacts that could offer the services we are seeking. Words alone cannot express our gratitude towards Amber Ambrose of Blue Sky Ceremony. Our wedding was more beautiful and memorable than we could ever have imagined, and so much of it was thanks to her!

We are originally from the midwest, and most of our planning happened remotely, over the phone and through email. Amber was incredibly professional and responsive throughout, even during the birth of her baby! And not only that - she made wedding planning fun! We looked forward to our calls with her and she did a great job actually listening to what we wanted and then executing it.

The vendor connections that Amber has are top-tier, and her attention to detail - down to our cute paper straws - made the day feel uniquely us. And it was extremely organized - Amber made it so that all we needed to do was show up. We didn't have to worry about a single day-of element because she had it handled.

If you are considering a wedding in the Virgin Islands, I highly recommend Blue Sky Ceremony.

Amber and Blue Sky Ceremony are amazing wedding planners. I am the mother of the bride and saw first hand how well my daughter and Amber clicked with their creativity and communication. The day of the wedding exceeded our expectations from the decorations and flowers to the Minister (Island Mike) to the food/service. I'd highly recommend Villa Serenita as the venue. We hired Blue Sky Ceremonies for a 50th anniversary vow renewal. Amber was great about helping us to pick the things that would make the day perfect within the budget we had. She always responded within 24 hours to my email and she called me once to talk through the options. The morning of the venue, everyone was there right on time and everything went smoothly. We used Mango Works as our photographer and the pictures were great and we got them back within a week. I would recommend Amber and her team for any wedding ceremony planning, the beauty of the Virgin Islands can't be beat. We had the ceremony at the "Wedding House" on Cabrita Point (that was amazing) and then went to a beach nearby for some amazing pictures (Chad our photographer led on this recommendation for the place of the photos and it was perfect).

Highly recommend!!!! I found blue sky ceremonies by searching the internet for a villa for my wedding. My original plan for getting married in St Thomas was to use one of the hotels on the island. But in communications with the hotel wedding planning department I did not feel as if it was personal. From day one that I spoke to Amber she got it. I felt as if the wedding was planned perfectly from one conversation, she gets you. She is always available via email responds in a timely manner. The day of Our wedding was perfect!!! more than I dreamed of all the vendors were great the venue was gorgeous and it was an intimate setting, from the ceremony on the beach to the reception at a private villa. As a bride I would say wedding planning can get stressful but with Amber you have nothing to worry about she will handle it and you will have an amazing day. Blue sky Ceremony is the way to go.

My daughter's step mother worked directly with Amber for what resulted in a beautiful beach wedding at Meghan's Bay St Thomas! Much email transpired between the states and Amber, the end result was beyond what I imagined! From chandeliers hanging from the trees, linen table clothes, fresh flowers on tables, the arch billowing with white drapery to the beautiful landscape that Meghan's bay provided. I am moved even now as I type this. We had 35 people in attendance from all over the US, everyone said it was the best day of their 7 day cruise! Amber had us located at the far end of the beach away from the crowds. The restroom facilities were very clean and spacious for changing from wedding attire into swimwear! Her husband Michael officiated the ceremony and made it memorable! I have no complaints - Bravo Zulu to Blue Sky Ceremony and Amber Ambrose!

I was put in charge of planning my step daughter's wedding. After speaking with several planners in St. Thomas, I went with Amber and Blue Sky Ceremony because of her very frank answers to my questions and concerns. I was a bit leery of handing over that much control in the planning but I am so happy that I went with Amber. There were many, many emails and more than a few calls. She was so patient and understanding when we were in the midst of the planning. When we arrived at Magen's Beach, I knew that we had made the right decision. All of the emails and phone calls had paid off! The site was amazing and exactly what we had pictured in our minds as the perfect day. The tables were set up for our party of 36, white tablecloths, beautiful bamboo chairs, the buffet was set up for our bar and the food (Off the Grid catered and they were amazing). Perfect. Amber also did our photography, we have not gotten those back yet but I have a feeling they are great! Michael was our officiant and he was wonderful as well. I also need to put the shout out to Krista, who was helping Amber that day - she was fantastic! The ceremony was beautiful and short, we had a steel pan player for a couple of hours that added to that tropical setting! Our party then changed to enjoy the water for a few hours and we were still catered to until we left! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the day! All 36 of us were coming off of a cruise ship and so far, all of our guests said that the wedding on Magen's Bay was the best day of the cruise! I will have to agree with them. There are plenty of options with Blue Sky and like Amber kept telling me, "Everything can be customized" so don't be intimidated! Go with Blue Sky!

I have always dreamed of getting married barefoot on the beach and after getting in touch with Amber, I knew it could happen. My fiance and I went back and forth between having a Colorado wedding or a beach wedding in St. Thomas and ultimately we chose the Colorado wedding for the purpose of having more family and friends there. However, I know if we chose the beach wedding, Amber would have made everything happen! She was easy to get a hold of, quick to respond, and great to talk to over the phone. If you're feeling stressed about having a destination wedding, talk to Amber. I wish she could be our planner in Colorado, I know she would make the planning process FUN, which it should be!

I was put in charge of planning for our 10th anniversary Vow renewal ceremony. We knew the where & when (beautiful St. Thomas a stop on our Royal Caribbean Cruise). We needed help with the what and especially the HOW. I started with RCB themselves and found them to be very expensive for the packages provided and not very interested in helping us build the elegant and simple close family and friends beach ceremony that we envisioned. I researched a number of different vendors and reached out to Blue Sky Ceremony based on the quality of their website, how well they laid out the options, pricing, easily customizable nature and of course the beautiful photos of past couples. I reached out to Amber via email and received an immediate response. With just a few questions Amber put together exactly the kind of ceremony we were looking for. The whole process was a total breeze and we probably had to make 3 decisions along the way.
1) Specific beach - Amber provided great options with pros/cons of each, loved the beauty of Magen's Bay and as she indicated despite the crowd in the main area we had plenty of space and quiet for the ceremony and photos.
2) Cake flavor (100's of combinations and loved our Tres Leche cake with Mango filling!)
3) Choice of photographer - There was a whole package ranging from high end high $ professionals to their very affordable in-house photography and the catalog provided from each was amazing. We loved the quality of all and chose the in-house... we couldn't have chosen better. They somehow managed to make me look good and at the same time kept my wife's flawless beauty intact.

The whole day went amazing, our guests were delight and we had ZERO stress. From the official down to the assistants the staff were amazing and made us alll feel truly special.

I would strongly recommend Blue Sky Ceremony, Amber and her team delivered a wonderful experience with almost no effort on our end at a tremendous value.

I don't normally write reviews but the experience we recently had with Amber is deserving. She is extremely attentive and responsive both via email and telephone, adjusting things right up to the last minute as this crazy bride continued to change her mind about things. When I finally thought all was set, we arrived on the island after a big storm and the beach we were supposed to get married on was covered in mounds of seaweed. 5 days away from the wedding I asked someone at the resort when they thought it would be cleaned up and they said a few weeks.. panicking I emailed Amber who not only had visited the beach but had already arranged to move the ceremony to Magen's Bay for me.
Having Amber to rely on throughout the whole process left me relaxed and stress free which is not something many brides can say. She helped make our day perfect and I'd strongly recommend her services.

Amber was wonderful! She was extremely helpful and I had 95% of everything planned after just a few days talking with her. This meant NOTHING to worry about in the states besides finding my dress and looking forward to vacation! Amber is quick to respond and always had an answer. The wedding was beautiful and she returned our photos to us much quicker than we had expected. Even with a destination wedding it still goes by in a blink of an eye and we are SO happy we just had fun with it!

My husband and I got married at Villa Serenita (The Wedding House) in St. Thomas just recently and it was planned by Amber from Blue Sky Ceremony. I could not have even imagined a more perfect day! I was the type of bride who really did not know exactly what I wanted or styling details and Amber was very helpful. After communicating with me via phone and email, she figured out my style and was able to plan a perfect wedding. Everything was beautiful and the whole wedding plus reception went through without any hiccups...and if there were any, we did not know! Amber was always quick to respond via email and scheduled several phone conversations throughout the wedding planning process. She recommended and scheduled a fabulous caterer who prepared an amazing brunch, a delicious bakery for our cake, and a hair/make up stylist who did a great job. I cannot say enough good things about Blue Sky Ceremony and Amber! Thank you for making our wedding truly fabulous!

These two beautiful people did a very professional over the top job. We would certainly recommend them to anyone we know who would be going to Virgin Islands to renew their vows or getting married. We could spend another half hour writing good things about Amber and Michael and how great they both are at what they do. I normally do not write reviews, but this one was worth it! My husband and I got married in February of 2014 on Magen's Bay in St. Thomas. To give a little history, we had planned a traditional wedding in the states, but do to the overwhelming opinions and complexity...we canceled everything! We had been to St. Thomas for vacation before and absolutely loved it! So, we both decided that's where we'd get married, on a beach with beautiful water and perfect weather. Little did I know that Blue Sky Ceremony, Amber and Michael, would make it so much more than we both ever imagined! Amber delivered exactly what I hoped for and listened to every request. Being in NC and planning a wedding in the Caribbean ended up being easier and stress-free because of Blue Sky Ceremony. I can't begin to tell you how genuinely kind hearted and patient both Amber and Michael were through our whole event! She put things together better than I could of done myself! They definitely know the island, the local businesses and the care to make anyone's day as special as ours was. Even a year later, she sent us loaves of the delicious bread we broke on our wedding day! I would highly recommend Blue Sky Ceremony for anyone looking to have a beautiful, worry-free wedding in St. Thomas. Not only will you have a special occasion, but you'll leave with new friends who helped arrange it!! We love you both, Amber and Michael!!

I actually did not end up doing a destination wedding for personal reasons, BUT working with Amber, I would have had 90% of my wedding planned in less than 1 week! She is ALWAYS ready to talk, very professional and has a weallth of knowledge to include sending the St. Thomas Bride Guide and ideas for unique/personal/intimate weddings. If I would have done my wedding in St Thomas, there is no other wedding planner that I would have used! Thanks for all of your help and insight Amber!

Amber is amazing! I am currently planning my wedding with her at Havana Blue near the Marriott in St. Thomas USVI and she has been perfect!! She is always so quick to respond , even to my pinterest "do you like this?" texts. She was even willing to video the ceremony and reception space for me so I can drool over it until November. :) I would definitely recommend her to ANYONE planning their wedding in the Virgin Islands. She is willing to go anywhere and try anything you request!!!

I cannot say enough about working with Ms. Ambrose @ Blue Sky Ceremony. From start to finish, everything was perfect, in every way. It can be a bit unnerving working from a distance, through emails without having met a person to plan your special day. Amber was the consummate professional from start to finish. There was no question too silly . . . and believe me, I had TONS!!! From arranging the exact bouquet I requested, to the delicious cake, to the photography, transportation and steel pan player, I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much again, Amber. <3

Thank you to Amber with Blue Sky Ceremony! Steve and I decided for a destination wedding ALONE. Amber, Heather and Mark made it so easy I was worried that it wasn't real! But it was real... More than we both could have imagined! Beautiful location, beautiful cake, beautiful flowers, Hair and Makeup and the most amazing photographer, Alain (Blue Glass Photography). I kept asking what do I need to do and I was always told, "just show up with your Groom" and that is truly all we had to do. They made us not feel so alone but yet so personal and private. A day to always remember! We could not have asked for anything more for the first day of the rest of our lives. THANK YOU!

Our travel agent provided the BlueSky website, and from the moment I contacted Amber, she was on top of every detail. The only suggestion I might make is to have a table cloth (white linen) for the picnic table provided at the time of the ceremony. Amber was truly lovely to work with, and made the details I would've ordinarily worried about, invisible! Thank you, thank you, Amber! (and Heather, too!)

I booked with a cruise ship for my wedding on St. Thomas and found the whole planning process to be frustrating. I seldom was able to speak to the same person twice. Only a few weeks before arriving in St. Thomas I wanted to make a small change to my flowers and add a few details. I emailed and called the cruise ship but never heard back. I called Amber after searching around online. I sent her an email and she responded less than an hour later. I was on the phone with her the same day. While I was on the phone with her I was already drafting the email to the cruise line to cancel.
In less than a week, Amber had my entire wedding planned and ready to go! The wedding with Amber was ultimately cheaper and exactly what I wanted.

Amber was superb. Our wedding ceremony was like out of a magazine. She followed our wishes and made everything look even better than we imagined. Our wedding was on the beach and we had a small beach bbq reception afterwards. It was low key and informal. The cost was surprisingly reasonable and we got far more than we expected for our budget. Amber was creative and I felt like she went above and beyond what was expected.

Nothing short of perfect for our wedding in the islands. I was impressed with Amber's friendly personality but almost drill sergeant like precision on the day of the ceremony. She made us relaxed and I don't think I had the slightest concern that everything was going to be perfect. My mother can't get over how amazing everything looked.
I would recommend Amber to anyone looking to getting married in St. Thomas.

Due to the professionalism of Amber and Blue Sky Ceremony, I had the most unforgettable wedding day. Amber replied to all correspondences in a very quick manner and always had positive, helpful suggestions. She was there for each and every question. Planning beforehand was a breeze! Amber at Blue Sky Ceremonies planned our 20 year vow renewal celebration. She coordinated the location, transportation, cake, bouquet, flowers for hair, photography, and food. Our day was WONDERFUL due to Amber's outstanding planning skills...we didn't have to worry about anything. She also customized the ceremony content with the officiant to meet our needs/requests. She even responded quickly to my last-minute food requests for my 9 year old daughter who is a picky eater! Amber didn't miss a beat and we'd definitely do it all over again without changing a thing! We could not be happier with Amber's responsiveness, professionalism, and thoroughness!

I cannot recommend Amber highly enough. We visited last year to look at wedding locations and we met with a few wedding planners. We were instantly smitten by Amber. Her knowledge, attitude and experience far surpassed the other planners we met with.

Amber helped us with picking our wedding location and she took us to several villas for our families to stay for the week of our wedding.

For the year leading up to the wedding, Amber would stay in touch with me and seemed to work tirelessly while at times the wedding was far from my mind. We had the final details worked out months before the wedding. She helped with putting together invitations, welcome bags for all the guests and she put together an itinerary for activities throughout our wedding week.

The weeks leading up to the wedding I was frantic but Amber always was a step ahead of me and was quick to put me at ease. I could not have enjoyed myself as much as I did if I didn't have Amber.

When we arrived on St. Thomas she was there waiting for us and seeing her instantly made any reservations or fears I had about the wedding week melt away. She is always smiling and her mind never stops moving as she anticipated and "fixed" things that popped up.

I still don't know how she was able to keep so many balls in the air at once. There were so many moving parts-50 guests coming in, transportation, catering, music, decorating. She must not sleep because every detail, every decoration and every vendor was on time and perfect. Our wedding and reception exceeded my expectations in every way.

My entire family loved Amber and I will be forever thankful that we had her helping us.

Our wedding was a beautiful day that will always be special to me. We were married on Lindquist Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Still glowing from my wedding. After months of planning my big day finally arrived and I still feel like it was a dream. It is all over so fast and I feel like now I have a good friend in Amber. Working with Amber is like working with your best friend. She seemed to be as excited as me going over all the details.

I had emailed/called several other officiants and she was the only one that made me feel at ease. She was also the most prompt and detailed in her responses to my initial inquiries. I wish I could plan another wedding with her!

We will be back for our vow renewal so I hope she is still around!

We had our ceremony at LIndquist Beach on St. Thomas. Amber was easy to work with and answered all my questions during the whole planning process. I probably wasn't the easiest to work with-I changed my mind last minute on adding a steel pan player-but she didn't even flinch with all my changes and additions. Having a destination wedding was easier than I thought it would be and it was in no small part to Amber's hard work.

Our wedding in St. Thomas was a breeze. Without breaking a sweat my husband and I got married at the water's edge and 20 of our guests enjoyed a beach bbq, and fun in the sun. We had a simple wedding but wanted to really give our guests and incredible experience.

Amber coordinated an incredible day for all of us. We had music, barbecue, rum and beach toys. She made sure we were all happy, fed and had plenty to drink! It was a day to never forget.

I typically don't write reviews as I think they are a waste of time unless you have a bad experience. But I felt compelled to write a review for Amber because she was the most incredible person I've ever had the pleasure to work with in business.

I am in insurance sales so I basically live and die by my reputation and relationships. Amber actually taught me a thing or two about how to take care of a customer. From the first email through the late night calls, through the day of the wedding, I've never felt so at ease about something so important and stressful.

I get annoyed when one of my customers calls me on the weekend or after business hours but I found myself being shameless in calling Amber on Sunday nights, Saturday mornings and just about any time I had a question or thought. She either answered the phone outright or had an email response to my call with hours.

The wedding itself was perfect. When I arrived at the beach I burst out into tears instantly when I saw the setting and decorations. I'm sure Amber does these wedding all the time, but I felt like my wedding was the only wedding she ever cared about. It was as if she lived only to give me the perfect day.

I am now going through Amber withdraw. I wish I had a reason to call her at all hours to talk. To anyone considering a wedding in paradise, Amber is the only person you need to call.

A true professional, Amber was always available when I needed her during the planning process. After months of planning and discussing my wedding, she became like an old friend.

I didn't meet Amber until the moment we pulled up to the beach but seeing her waiting at the beach made me feel so much better. She had perfectly put together my dream wedding on the beach. The flowers, the bamboo, the cake, everything was exactly as we had discussed.

My family was in awe of my wedding and my parents are already talking with Amber about planning their vow renewal for next year. Amber was a blessing and an excellent friend to have ensure my wedding was perfect.

Amber was great! I was so nervous about having a destination wedding, (I'm an admitted control freak) and she was fabulous to work with! Responsive, attentive, and my beach wedding was beautiful. She even handled my complete melt down on the morning of my wedding when it was a torrential downpour! (thankfully the rain cleared for just the hour we needed to get the deed done!). Amber also went out of her way to try to help me book a cateror for the reception after my numerous failed attempts at getting an island cateror. She was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone!

Amber was absolutely wonderful! The wedding location and setup was absolutely gorgeous! I've always dreamed of a beautiful beach wedding with crystal clear carribean water and our location was exactly that. The groom and I lead very busy lives (both have full time jobs, three kids, I'm working on my MBA); therefore, we really needed a wedding planner. Her packages were flexible to our wants/needs. I'm a perfectionist so it was hard handing over the reigns, but she went above and beyond to provid a ceremony that surpassed any and all expectations. Her husband was the officiant and was just as sweet as she is. He was testing a new Go Pro camera and taped our ceremony which was a huge plus as videography wasn't included in our package (our choice)!!! The photographer, Shelby, was also wonderful and creative and took awesome shots. Amber was professional and always quick with communication/responses. The day was absolutely stress free. I had my hair/makeup done in the spa on the cruise ship, we got off the gangway dressed and ready to go, the driver was there waiting on us, and he took us to the courthouse and then the beach. Asking Blue Sky Ceremony to plan my wedding was the best decision that I could have made regarding my wedding. Our wedding at Megan's bay was all that I hoped for and much more! Amber is the absolute best!

Amber was an absolute godsend who put together a beautiful event for 22 of us on very short notice: transport to and from ship, food, drink, decorations, the perfect combination of class and relaxation. Michael did a wonderful job officiating, including all of the little components we requested. Putting your trust in people so far away can be worrisome but these two gave us not one thing to be concerned with. Amber even ran home to get beach toys for our youngest guests. We cannot thank you enough for giving us our dream wedding on the beach!

Amber did an amazing job. I could not have had a more perfect ceremony and reception. I just conveyed what I wanted to Amber and she executed everything flawlessly. I was so impressed and my guests had a very memorable experience. We had a beach BBQ and the food was fantastic. The cake was beautiful and tasted great. The photographer and Videographer were very professional. Our wedding video was very well edited. We haven’t received the photos yet, but the photographer took really interesting shots and was very organized. The transportation to and from the cruise ship was great and the steel drum player added to the beautiful ambiance. I am so glad that I found Blue Sky Ceremony. Amber, Mike, and her vendors were absolutely amazing.

If you have your wedding through Blue Sky Ceremony you do not have to worry about a thing. We had a small wedding but Amber exceeded our expectations with the site set up. She shot some great pictures with our camera, was available during the ceremony but not intrusive. I contacted a few vendors to help me plan our 25th wedding anniversary celebration on St. Thomas, USVI & Amber was the only one who responded in a timely fashion (or at all). After speaking with her over the phone, I engaged her services for our celebration and she did not disappoint. She arranged everything: site location, officiant (her husband!) photographer, flowers, catering and transportation. After speaking with the various vendors, it was obvious that she has a very fine reputation on the island. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Whatever you do, use Blue Sky Ceremony and take all of Amber's recommendations. Everything she suggested was just perfect, but the photographer was beyond incredible! I like these pictures more than my wedding picutres!

Amber and Michael were wonderful to work with. They organized our dream wedding; simple but beautiful. Amber was responsive, kind and fun. Everything was taken care of from the moment she picked us up to the moment she dropped us off. We absolutely did the right thing choosing Blue Sky Ceremony. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We were very pleased with our wedding. Amber was very professional and flexible and a pleasure to deal with. We set this all up with less than 2 weeks to plan and with Blue Sky, there were no problems. Thanks to Amber for all her efforts.

Amber at Blue Sky Ceremony put together a beautiful ceremony and reception!!! She made to sure to listen to what we wanted, and put together all the details into a dream beach wedding :-)
Since we had never been to St. Thomas, we didn't have any idea what vendors were the good ones, but she knew them. Cake, flowers, food, decor -- it was all wonderful, and our guests loved it too! We had an unexpected 35 people at our wedding, but it all went smoothy and everyone had a great time on the beach
We highly recommend her, and all the vendors she put together for us -- Island Sweet Stuff for the cake, Off the Grid for BBQ lunch catering (everyone said it was DELICIOUS), flowers from Roses Too, and Amber's package for all the decor and seating.

We had our 10 year vow renewal and was a little stressed about the planning but Amber took care of everything for us. We just had to show up with the family and it was a smooth all along. It was a beautiful ceremony and our family and friends enjoyed it too.

Wonderful experience

Our original wedding date was pre pandemic. We went to St. Thomas after a couple phone conversations with Amber to meet her, look at the venue, taste the cake, taste the food and have a hair and makeup session. It was a great first meeting with everyone involved. The pandemic hit and Amber kept in contact even though we both knew we were headed to the dreaded rescheduled wedding. The wedding was rescheduled and unfortunately the venue had to change (we later found out he had a person who rented for the year), and my hairdresser was due on my new wedding date. Amber was able to find another hair dresser and help us decide on another venue (which we could not travel to and see this time). The wedding went off flawlessly! From car pickups of guests, to the reception and guests leaving. The day was perfect.

Amber was very calm and easy going when chatting with us on planning of our big day on the beach. She has all the correct vendors lined up and really made our planning a lot easier. The location, van and decoration, and cake choices were great. I would recommend her service to anyone. One thing to keep in mind is to ensure to have a checklist on what you want to do on the beach or on your big day, so those activities are not being missed:) There were lots of great decorations and lots of helpers helping out at the event. The truck pick up was on time and everyone was very organized.
The funny officiant was awesome for our wedding.

I had a really tough time writing this review. I was very conflicted because although my wedding ended up PERFECT, the process left a lot to be desired. Let me start off by saying that my wedding day was smooth as silk and everything was as I expected. Amber was also my photographer and she did a stellar job. I honestly don't know how she took two un-photogenic people and turned them into the newlyweds I saw in those pictures. She has a real talent. That being said, I did not have as awesome of an experience leading up to my wedding.
I emailed Amber throughout the year and a half that we were planning my wedding, had a phone chat about every month, and I pretty much left her alone other than that. That was until two months from the big day where she dropped off the face of the Earth! I called, emailed, texted…I even contacted her through her website and Facebook page because I was afraid something was wrong. Finally, after waiting and waiting, I contacted the caterer because I still didn't have final invoices and the caterer manages to get in touch with Amber for me!
Amber finally contacts me, gives no apologies or explanations. And I was MAD. She was my main source of stress during the planning process and she was the one I HIRED to make my life easier. I mean I didn’t expect her to drop her life and fly to come see me. I just wanted a text saying, "Hey... such and such happened and I'll reach out when I can." But NO! And my hands were completely tied. I felt disrespected and frustrated. I mean my wedding (at this point) was 3 weeks away and she was involved in every single thing about my wedding.
Fortunately, my wedding day turned out amazing. I am thankful for all Amber did do. But her lack of communication and her inability to own up to her mistakes and apologize prevent me from recommending her to anyone in the future.

I would NEVER recommend using Amber to plan your wedding! She seemed very responsive and professional through email and over the phone in the months leading up to our wedding, but was such a disappointment! I will leave out details and try to keep it brief.

She approached my limo as I was waiting to get out and walk down the aisle to tell me that there were no petals or decorations for my aisle. Also, there was no music or wedding march. There were no petals to be thrown after our ceremony - her solution to this was to destroy my bouquet so we could have petals. All of these things were confirmed in writing two days before the wedding.

She did not even open the sand for our sand ceremony - we stood there fussing with plastic wrapper while our guests waited. Nor did she open our frame. I was still charged a sand ceremony 'set up fee.'

We ordered champagne glasses and had them engraved for our toast. She broke our best man's glass and did not offer to replace it or pay for it.

Here is the worst part -- I have been married over a week and my marriage license has not been yet filed with the court house! I am therefore not legally married and had to get a new license in the states and take our vows again in front of a magistrate to be able to change my name.

I am unable to reach her by phone or get refunded for the mistakes made.

Horrible experience.

It’s taken me a while to write this review and I’m usually not one to do so, but I felt it was important so no one else gets screwed over.
I was supposed to get married 3/20/20. The entire planning process with Amber was terrible. I constantly felt like I was an inconvenience to her. Communication with her was nearly impossible. I would try to get a hold her, and wouldn’t hear back from her for days, even sometimes over a week would pass before hearing from her. When I did talk to her, I felt like I was being a burden. The extent of our wedding planning was based solely on a Pinterest board. The entire planning process left me with more questions and worried that my special day with just going to be thrown together.
Unfortunately, Covid hit and a day before we were scheduled to leave for VI, we had to cancel based on the uncertainty of the situation. Days later, the island was shut down.
After reaching out to Amber months later about possibly getting our money back, since getting married there was not a possibility, and out of our control, she refused.
I’m certain we were the first wedding that had to cancel because of Covid, and Amber was the only vendor that did not give us our money back.
Based on her poor communication, poor professionalism and over all, lack of heart for our situation, which was out of our control, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND AMBER OR BLUESKY CEREMONY TO ANYONE.

Terrible Experience

I can’t express enough the disappointment felt by my wife and I through dealing with Amber and Blue Sky Ceremony. Amber was contracted to perform the event planning for our wedding in St. John. Upfront she seemed professional and she was hired but that all fell apart quickly. Two months prior to our wedding she completely fell off the earth. She didn’t communicate with us for six weeks as we tried repeatedly to get in touch with her. She finally got back to us before we flew to the Islands for the wedding. On our wedding day she incorrectly scheduled the buses to pickup the guest so the entire wedding was delayed 1.5 hours while our guests stood outside in the heat waiting for pickup. This cut a huge chunk out of the reception time. Our cocktail hour was suppose to be on the Villa rooftop which had been completely ignored upon arriving back from the ceremony. The food service was suppose to be served by waiters and instead was a buffet. All of the appetizers were cold. Amber ruined our wedding and worst of all didn’t care in the slightest. If you don’t read its entirety, please read this: DO NOT UTILIZE/HIRE/EMPLOY OR CONSIDER BLUE SKY CEREMONY!!

I carefully reviewed the “Bridal Guide” and was impressed after very detailed telephone conversations with Amber. She assured me that she could provide the services that I requested, and this was nothing out of the ordinary. I hired Amber 4 months before my ceremony and made sure she was paid in full well in advance to secure great service. Instead, Amber provided mournfully awful service and didn't even show up to my ceremony! The day of, she was unavailable and would only text; til this day, she has never mentioned that she wouldn't be at my ceremony nor has she had any decency to offer an explanation!

In her package $595 package (for which I ultimately paid $1,000 by the time she added incidentals):
– Unlimited Phone & Email Consultation SHE WAS GREAT LEADING UP TO THE WEDDING THEN STOPPED RESPONDING
– Wedding Coordinator for Ceremony SHE DIDN’T SHOW UP AT ALL
– Officiant & Custom Ceremony ALTHOUGH DISCUSSED 4 MONTHS PRIOR, 2 DAYS BEFORE TO THE CEREMONY, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE OFFICIANT COULDN’T PERFORM OUR “CUSTOM” CEREMONY BECAUSE IT INCLUDED COMMUNION. I HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $150 FOR AN OFFICIANT THAT COULD DO THIS, ALTHOUGH THE OFFICIANT'S FEE WAS INCLUDED IN THE PKG THAT WAS ALREADY PAID IN FULL
– Filing of Marriage License SHE SAID SHE’D FILED BUT DIDN’T UNTIL WEEKS LATER ONCE I INFORMED HER THAT THE COURT CONFIRMED SHE HADN'T FILED. I WAS AFRAID I WOULD HAVE TO GET MARRIED AGAIN!
– 4 Certified Copies of Marriage License PACKAGE SAYS 4, AMBER SAYS ONLY 2. I PAID HER FOR ADDITIONAL COPIES AND STILL ONLY RECEIVED 2!
– Keepsake Marriage Certificate NOT RECEIVED AT ALL
– Transportation for Bride & Groom CHAOTIC!

All other Wedding Wire vendors were absolutely wonderful. It was quite distressing that the person that was paid to take the stress and anxiety out of my day was the source of my dread, worries and frustration!
