Fantastic!

Cleveland was awesome. We cant appreciate him enough. He was attentive before and after, really making sure he knew what we wanted. (We did things a little differently and he was very accommodating). He was also super, super nice, and that can't be valued enough! Thank you Cleveland!

Fantastic experience!

Cleveland was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was professional and communicative, and did an excellent job at our wedding. He curated the vibe we wanted and included all of the songs we wanted, and was so thoughtful about the order of the music played to get and keep everyone on the dance floor. Awesome DJ! Highly Recommend!

We worked with Cleveland as wedding DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was so professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. He did a great job at reading the room, while also incorporating our must-play songs throughout the night. He kept the night flowing seamlessly and with class! He had everyone on the dance floor the whole night, and guests remarked at how great the music was! Thanks again for make our big day such a success.

A perfect wedding DJ - detail oriented + throws a great party!!

Cleveland (the owner and DJ of Blue Root Entertainment) was hands down my favorite vendor that I worked with for my wedding. He was fun and easy to talk to, but also detail oriented and a perfectionist when it mattered, and of course he knows how to get a party started : ) Every call we had along the way was stress free and fun. He cares about every detail and genuinely wants to make your wedding fun for all your guests. We used Cleveland for ceremony, cocktail, and reception music.

The best DJ!

We held our wedding reception in the fall of 2021, and we are so happy with our choice to use Blue Root Entertainment and Cleveland as the DJ for our celebration. From the day we reached out to Cleveland, he has been extremely warm, helpful, and accommodating. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, and he was understanding and made it possible for us to move to a new day. The music planning tool used is easy to use, and it helped us strike the perfect balance of selecting our top song choices, while also trusting Cleveland's guidance on the rest of the songs. In regards to coordinating with the venue (Cescaphe), Cleveland and his team were on top of all the logistics. Everything was seamless in terms of set up, transition from cocktail hour to reception, and the flow of the night. During the reception, he was dynamic and engaging with our guests. The dance floor was crowded all night long! We are so pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Cleveland and Blue Root, and we highly recommend their services.

A must hire

We hired Cleveland for our New Years Eve wedding and could not have been happier! Cleveland was attentive and responsive, professional yet fun; he even made sure people quieted down for speeches. One of our biggest compliments were how amazing he was! I cannot recommend Cleveland and his assistant John DiPerro enough! Cleveland! I cannot thank you enough for making our day so perfect and being so wonderful to work with from our first phone call in Spring 2020 to our final dance- we are so grateful to have them as a part of our day.

The. Best.

The. Best. There is nothing else to say about Blue Root Entertainment. My husband and I met with Cleveland in the Fall of 2019 for our originally planned wedding in October 2020, but because of Covid, we rescheduled for October 2021. If there is anything I’ve learned about the wedding planning process, it's how vendors handled Covid weddings, and Blue Root Entertainment did not disappoint. Cleveland was flexible and understanding from the beginning. Not only was it such a stress-free process during such an uncertain time, but the end result was AMAZING. Cleveland ran the show for us from the ceremony to the final reception song and we didn’t have to worry about one single thing. On top of that, his song choices and flow of songs throughout the evening had everyone of all generations out on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. And I do mean everyone. It’s been over 2 months since our wedding, and we’re still getting compliments on the dancing and how much fun people had that day, and it’s all because of Cleveland. Do yourself a favor and book with Blue root Entertainment. I promise, they won’t disappoint.

So so glad we found him!

Don't hesitate! Out of all the decisions you're going to make in planning a wedding, this is an easy one. Cleveland did a fantastic job at our wedding - blending American and Latin music for a multi-cultural wedding. He was excellent at reading the crowd and mc'ing the evening - true professional. He even came through when we had last minute ceremony changes and needed his help playing processional and recessional songs. So so glad we found him!!

The best intimate event

We booked Cleveland for our wedding before COVID and had a much larger guest list. We downsized to 30 people and moved our event to a daytime one. That didn’t matter for Cleveland as all of our guests were dancing and having a great time at two in the afternoon! We will definitely use him in the future and are so glad we were still able to use his services. So many guests were complimenting him to us! He was easy to work with and took all of our changes well. He read the room and really made our intimate event a great one!

The Most Important Part

After being at a wedding with Cleveland as DJ in 2016, we KNEW we had to have him for our future wedding! There was no other choice. Having the online portal was extremely helpful, he always answered any calls or emails with competency, and kept our party going! The one detail I wanted to be PERFECT with the ceremony was my entrance song. He was able to immediately put my mind at ease by splicing and looping the song to my requirements so that I would be walking down the aisle to the correct music cue. For that I am grateful! We'd do it all over again if we could!

Dancing all night long

We happened to meet Cleveland while touring our wedding venue at the very beginning of our planning process. He was so friendly and easy to talk to, and it was clear that he’s passionate about music and entertainment! When checking out our venue’s website, we found out that he’s a preferred vendor. A great first impression with us and a lasting impression at a respected wedding venue made our choice very easy! Cleveland’s professional and prompt, especially with phone/email responses. During our in-person meeting to finalize our wedding day music, Cleveland made expert suggestions, helped us pick special songs, listened to and honored our requests for group introductions, song cuts, etc. What stood out to us was how well he understood our music tastes once we shared with him our cocktail/reception playlists. Leading up to the wedding, Cleveland checked in with us to help us finalize details and offer his support. As for our wedding day, we were truly BLOWN AWAY! He spoke with clarity and enthusiasm during all MCing portions in order to control the venue space so that the night’s activities transitioned smoothly. Our friends and family told us how much fun they had DANCING ALL NIGHT LONG because of the amazing DJing! Cleveland demonstrated quick-thinking when he cued up a sentimental song (by my all-time favorite band) mentioned in my dad’s speech. His perceptiveness created the best surprise! From dance favorites, to eclectic tracks, with a few slow dances precisely mixed in, Cleveland fed off the energy from the crowd to create a space for celebration and pure joy!

Cleveland Rocks

One of the top pieces of advice we received during the wedding planning process was to make sure we found a good DJ. Not only is the DJ responsible for keeping the party going, but also for performing the role of MC – ensuring the day stays on schedule. We found the perfect DJ and MC in Cleveland Morris and Blue Root Entertainment. From day one Cleveland was so helpful in guiding us through the planning process (who knew picking songs could be so hard?), to ensuring the smallest details were covered during the ceremony and reception. We had a feeling we’d be in good hands with Blue Root even before reaching out, as we were referred by our wedding planner who used Cleveland’s services for her own wedding. (How can you get a higher endorsement than that?) The biggest testament to Cleveland’s work, was that everyone danced the night away and had a blast. Simply put, Cleveland Rocks!

FLAWLESS delivery. We spoke with a lot of DJs before booking Blue Root, and we initially selected Cleveland simply because he seemed so professional and like an authentically nice guy that cared about making our night as special as possible for us (and not at all about stroking his own ego like a some of the DJs we spoke with).

I'm happy to say the initial vibes we got from Cleveland held true through to end. Beyond that, he exceeded our expectations with:

- Ease of communications. He provided us with a questionnaire to help plan the night, and then we did a final call to talk through everything before the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, he showed up in a badass velvet suit and executed everything perfectly according to the plan without any input required from us.

- His level of organization and maturity. He's clearly done a lot of weddings, and he had a calming presence through the day that helped us stay relaxed. There are SO many things to potentially be concerned about on the day of your wedding, and it was huge to be able to know "at least we know Cleveland's got the DJ / emcee situation on lock-down"

- The quality of his equipment. The audio for both the ceremony and reception was perfect - vows and speeches came through crystal clear, and the party music got everybody moving! We had a few challenging music requests (some could only be pulled from Youtube videos), but they came through sounding great on his equipment. The uplighting he brought also looked fantastic.

The decision to use Blue Root Entertainment and Cleveland as our wedding DJ is one we absolutely did not regret! Cleveland displayed an excellent level of commitment and dedication to making our day special and was always available to discuss anything at any time! Our decision to use Blue Root Entertainment was one of the best decisions. From the start, Cleveland was very easy to work with. He was very easy to communicate with, bounce ideas off of, and very enthusiast. He was very attentive to what we wanted and honored all of our requests. A big thing for Thomas and I is timely communication and Cleveland exceeded our expectations. We never had a doubt that he would deliver. He provided a Photo Booth and uplighting, both were big hits at our wedding. The wedding itself was amazing, Cleveland kept people on the dance floor at all times and guests even complimented us about him. We were so impressed with him and so happy in our decision to book Blue Root Entertainment. Weddings can be stressful but his attentiveness, attention to detail and communication made us not stressed at all about our choice in entertainment. Thank you for everything!! :)

Going with Blue Root Entertainment and Cleveland was one of the best wedding planning decisions my husband and I could have ever made! Cleveland is a friend of my husband's family that we had interacted with only once prior (well before) planning our wedding; at that point he left an everlasting impression on us and we knew when it came to planning our entertainment for the big day, that we had to book him. Cleveland is so incredibly easy to chat with, organized and such an expert at what he does. My biggest fear during wedding planning was that our dance floor would be bare during the reception and I stressed that heavily to him when we started discussing details. Cleveland assured me that he would be able to read the crowd and judge what songs to play and when. Boy, was he right! I loved that he jumped on the dance floor with us periodically through the night to get the crowd pumped for the next song, whether it was a throw back or a quick line dance. He listened to all our requests, as well as our guest's. I honestly felt like we were listening to a playlist that we had made ourselves and had playing at a dinner party! If you are looking for a DJ who has a keen eye for detail, is professional, and takes pride in all that he does, Cleveland is your guy! He is such a stand up guy who we will absolutely be recommending to friends and family for years to come!

Cleveland and Blue Root is exactly who you need to provide the entertainment at your event. We booked Cleveland for our wedding in October 2017, and could not have been more impressed! From our first meeting, my now wife told me we weren't meeting another person, and she was right in her decision. Cleveland is very organized, extremely easy to speak with, and is great with communication. He always got right back to us always. We even had to make a major change twice for our wedding, and when asking Cleveland if the change was ok to make, he made it sound like it was no issue at all. And he followed through with the changes made. Down to even the smallest details, Cleveland came through! He is a great event DJ. When it came to announcing the Bridal Party and Groomsmen, or announcing anything at all, he hit it perfectly. When it was time for line dances and such, Cleveland grabbed the mic and jumped on the dance floor to give instructions. When it came time for dinner, he threw in the perfect dinner music, that was special to us, that we did not even think to ask for. It's small details that make the day even more special, and those small details were important to us, and obviously important to Cleveland as well. We are so glad we picked Blue Root Entertainment, and would pick them again and again. Thank you so much Cleveland!

Cleveland came highly recommended from friends and family who had heard him DJ previous weddings and events. From our first meeting, he did not disappoint. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. We knew we had to immediately book with Cleveland! He had a user friendly website to help us plan and organize our big day. The website was very helpful because Cleveland provided the music to our ceremony as well as our reception. This was a great feature for organized brides and grooms.

We met Cleveland the month before our wedding to ensure all of our details were in place. He was easy to contact and very responsive. The day of our wedding, Cleveland arrived early to set up and add up-lighting to our reception room. The up-lighting transformed our reception space- we highly recommend adding the up-lighting package! We received so many compliments for his lighting!

Cleveland was able to create the perfect cocktail hour and dinner playlists based off our song requests. He really listened to us and made our night personal. Cleveland helped the timing of the evening and his announcements were perfect. The dance floor was packed because Cleveland played the perfect mix of oldies and new music. He noticed the guests dancing and was able to play what the crowd wanted to hear. You can tell Cleveland actually enjoys his job and doesn’t treat you like just another wedding-he was smiling and extremely pleasant all night! The pride he takes in his profession shines through. We highly recommend Cleveland to any bride and groom. He was the perfect choice for us from start to finish.

As we unfortunately found out at one of our close friends weddings, a DJ has the most influence on the wedding. The MC has to be able to read a room and sort of know what the audience wants to hear on the fly, while dealing with any hiccups or drunken requests along the way! When my wife and I were trying to decide on a DJ for our out of state wedding in Maryland, we weren't sure who to turn to. Thankfully, she ran into Cleveland at a David's Bridal promotion. Although he was not available to MC our wedding, he turned the reins over to Verdine Jennings, who has one of the smoothest tone voices we've ever heard. Prior to your wedding, wet got to sit down with Cleveland and Verdine and go over everything prior to any type of financial commitment. Once we committed with Blue Root Entertainment, they have an easy form available online that you can request any songs you have to hear, or to avoid, along with all of the important dances, intro music, etc. Verdine was easily one of the best MC's I've seen work a room like he did. He took the time to go from table to table, to introduce himself to the guests and figure out what the overall vibe of the room was like. Even though, some of the songs we listed on the "have to play list" weren't played, that was more of a function of Verdine understanding what people were looking for, and he absolutely nailed it. It was like having a friend DJ the wedding for you. Any special requests, like serenades or special compilations, he handled like a champ as well! Thank you Cleveland and Verdine for making our day complete and memories to last a lifetime!

We saw Cleveland at a wedding in Connecticut two years ago. As soon as we got engaged, we had no doubt we wanted him at our wedding. He was responsive, professional, and made me (the bride) feel at ease! There was no need for many logistic conversations before: he clearly knows what he is doing. He provided us with a microphone for the ceremony as well. The music was exactly what we wanted. He did a great job including personal touches such as song shout outs that we had requested. He went from table to table to receive song requests as well. Our guests danced the entire time and of 130 guests, less than 10 left before the last song! Our guests were so impressed with him as well. Cannot recommend him more highly!

Cleveland was absolutely AMAZING at our wedding! We met with him in person to review our questionnaire the week of the wedding and we could tell he was dedicated to making our day perfect. He was even sure to note small details like pronunciations of bridal party names. On our actual wedding day, we ended up running behind schedule during the evening and he was happy to stay an extra half hour to ensure we got as much dancing time as possible. He nailed the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing (all in different locations at our venue!). So glad we went with him for our big day and will certainly use him for any of our other DJ needs in the future.

I had met Clevland the first day that I went wedding shopping. Just like my dress, he was a match made in heaven. Cleveland was very friendly and warm when we met him. He gave us his card and explained how he customizes the music to tailor us as a couple. We were able to customize and request all the songs that we wanted for each part of the wedding. Blue Root Entertainment was reasonably priced compared to many of the competing companies. Our package included Clevland as the dj, custom up lighting, microphones at the ceremony, and the sound system. I would definitely recommend Blue Root Entertainment, especially Clevland for all events!

Cleveland is the best DJ. He provided outstanding service for our wedding reception. We had such a fun time and so did our guests. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. Some even said it was the best wedding reception. Cleveland was amazing with the music selection and timing and organization of the celebration. Also his announcements were great. We liked how Cleveland organized everyone for the bridal party entrance. He even made special announcements for special songs (i.e. Nana's song and wishing her happy birthday). She loved it! Cleveland even went out of his way to find me before he played my favorite song and let me know when important parts of the celebration were coming up. He was thoughtful and considerate the entire time. We will highly recommend him. He is passionate about what he does. Everything was perfect.

Cleveland was a pleasure to work with and he recommended that Gil would be a good fit for our wedding. When we first met Gil one of the things he told me is that "will never forget who our DJ was" and he kept that promise. Gil would stay in touch with us via phone, text and email and was always responsive. He is unbelievable and my friends and family Kept asking where I got this guy from. Gil entertained the crowd, dance with us and kept the party going until it ended. Gil and Cleveland, Thank you for making our wedding amazing! All I need to do now is find another reason to hire Gil again :-). Blue Root, Cleveland, Gil and are worth every penny.

I am a maître d' at a wedding venue and had the pleasure of working with Blue Root Entertainment. I got to worked with Cleveland Morris. He really knew how to get the crowd up and moving. From being in the business for so long I know that DJs make or break the reception and some times are mediocre, but not this guy. He was by far the best DJ I ever had the chance to work with. As a matter of fact the only one I went out of my way to give a review for. I hope he gets to DJ every wedding I attend from now own because I know it will be a good time. I was really nervous about having a DJ not only for our reception, but also our ceremony. I'd heard many horror stories and deep down I wanted a live band, but it just wasn't in our budget. Well, our wedding day came and went and WOW-I would pick Cleveland over a live band any day! He is one heck of a DJ!!! He is extremely professional and skilled at his craft. He's very organized and great at reading what the crowd and bride and groom want to hear. He also really understands the flow of weddings which my husband and I didn't even realize how important that was until that day. Plus, he just a nice guy! He played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and it was the best decision we ever made hiring Blue Root Entertainment. I literally think every single person at our wedding had the time of their life because of him. We closed the place down! : )

Cleveland from Blue Root Entertainment was an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with! In addition to being professional and responsive in all pre-wedding communications, he was FUN and on point during my daughter's entire wedding; EVERYBODY LOVED HIM! From classical, country, retro and today's top music he blended it all together seamlessly and had everyone up on their feet and dancing. He also handled the music for the ceremony BEAUTIFULLY! If anyone asks me for the name of a great DJ, for any occasion, it will be Cleveland.

Cleveland was our wedding DJ and we couldn't have been happier! He provided music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception, and lighting for our venue. We found his prices to be extremely reasonable when compared to most wedding DJ's. His lighting prices were a fraction of what a lighting company wanted to charge us and the lights were exactly the same. Our guests were very impressed that he went around to each table during the first course to ask for song requests. He also took the time to practice each person's name who was being announced and fulfilled each of our requests. Our dance floor was packed all night!!! Overall, Cleveland was professional, prompt and really listened to what we wanted. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

Cleveland and Blue Root Entertainment were great! He made sure to check in early the week of the wedding and thought of all sorts of questions I hadn't even considered, such as microphone for ceremony (even though he was only booked for reception), etc. He was really professional and made sure everything ran smoothly, and he also took the time to get music requests throughout the dinner (I actually saw him going table to table!) His music choices throughout the night were perfect for the crowd, and he had everyone up and dancing the whole night! He also was great with details and helped plan in advance how to speed up some of our activities (toasts, cake cutting, announcements) so we'd have more time for dancing! Cleveland was a great DJ, and I would definitely use him again and recommend him to a friend!

Cleveland was awesome. We got married Dec 27, 2015. Super busy time, but Cleveland was unbelievable. Despite a 20 min blackout, in which Cleveland did everything in his power to find a generator- which as soon as he was back the power was back on- to help and assist. He was a super professional, played great music, and kept
People on the dance floor the entire night! He went around during dinner to get requests so everyone was heard from, rounding out a great night of music. We loved having him at our wedding and would recommend him or any occasion!

I could not have been happier with our DJ Cleveland!! I don't think a single person sat down at our wedding, because they didn't want to miss a song. Cleveland was so responsive to my requests for cocktail and dinner hour, flexible with a change in set up when the weather forecast showed rain, so pleasant and accommodating to our guests, and looked so professional. Beyond the music, he did a great job introducing the bridal party, moving the wedding along from one element to the next, and was on point when we threw in last minute surprise elements that he was able to just roll right along with. We've gotten quite a few compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and Cleveland played a big role in that, so I'm very thankful!

We had Cleveland at our wedding this past Saturday and I must say he did an excellent job! He did exactly what I requested as far as music and the vibe set. Verdine Jennings was our DJ on October 10th, 2015. He was fantastic. He made sure that we had time to eat our dinner, and he kept the party going. It felt like we had a friend there instead of a vendor. We would definitely recommend him to other weddings. He started earlier than we originally had planned and 'went with the punches'.

We had the opportunity to work with Cleveland on our wedding August 22, 2015. We met him at a random Christmas party in 2013 and we knew then he would be the DJ for our wedding. Cleveland was great to work with. When we described what we were looking for he was able to easily comprehend what we were asking for and make it work for our group. Cleveland is a master of reading the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor. Our wedding party was a mixed bag ranging from under 18 to over 80 years old and everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. He took our favorite song choices into account and was still able to keep the party exciting and fun. At one point Cleveland was on the dance floor inspiring our entire party to get up and dance. I would recommend Cleveland for any party you may wish to schedule. He is awesome.

Cleveland was an AMAZING DJ. He was communicative and accessible any time before the wedding. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He asked us questions for the reception and ceremony that we never would have thought of, which was great. The day of the wedding, he showed up prepared and early, and was extremely professional. He started off the dance party well, and kept the party going well throughout the night. My husband wanted a mix of Latin music, and Cleveland blended pop/hip&hop/R&B/latin music very well. Everyone was happy. I would highly recommend Cleveland and Blue Root Entertainment. He was great!

Cleveland was our DJ for our wedding on June 19, 2015 and he was amazing!!! He approached us while we were at the bank one day - totally personable. He is also very professional and engaging, and was a complete pleasure to work with. I was impressed by his professionalism; he was always on time for scheduled phone calls, and checked in on us throughout the wedding planning period. At the reception, he was able to keep the crowd going throughout the night. In addition to being an excellent MC, Cleveland is also a great dance instructor! He led the guests through numerous line dances like the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was dancing that night from my 4-year-old flower girls to my 87-year-old grandmother. Book him for your event and you will NOT regret it!

We booked Cleveland for our wedding reception as a DJ and emcee and he was EXACTLY what we hoped for. His music selections were great and kept everyone on the dance floor. Really good mix of old and new songs to appeal to everyone. As emcee, he kept things fun and relaxed but maintained his professionalism at all times. He wasn't afraid to take the mic onto the dance floor and help lead some dances either. All things considered, we were overwhelmingly happy choosing Cleveland!

Cleveland is by far the best DJ!!! He made our wedding so much fun. He was professional, and very easy to work with! During dinner he went to each of the tables and introduced himself and asked the guest what kind of music they wanted to hear, so that he could get a good feel of what the crowd was in the mood for! Cleveland Morris of Blue Root Entertainment is one of the best in the industry. Speaking as a fellow DJ, Cleveland is the type of person I keep a close eye on because I know I'll be able to learn something I can use to improve my own skills. And now as a past client, I have only positive things to say. Although it wasn't necessary to email Cleveland very often, any time I did he responded very quickly. He was happy to meet with us in person before we committed to hiring him (as any good DJ should). His client interview paperwork ensures that he has all the details he needs, and he follows up with a "week of" phone call just to finalize everything and make sure he has all of the correct information.

Cleveland arrived at the venue more than 2 hours ahead of time and was ready to go well in advance of the ceremony. He was friendly and encouraging to our wedding party as he went through the lineup to verify everyone's names before introducing them at the reception. My wife and I give him very few specific requests so that he could control the playlist, and his music selection was on point and kept the dance floor packed the entire evening with our guests of all ages. His technical abilities (mixing/transitioning between songs, etc.) were exceptional, and his announcements on the mic were professional and energetic. He has top of the line audio and lighting equipment and a facade that keeps the setup looking clean and photogenic by hiding all of the wires and cables.

I still have people telling me what a fun time they had and how great the DJ was.

Cleveland is a friendly, nice person and an amazing DJ. He was extremely professional and arrived to our reception venue early to set up. My husband and I felt comfortable right at our first meeting with him. We received many compliments about the music at our wedding and everything went smoothly including the bridal party and parent entrances, first dances and parent dances and the newlywed game that we requested. He also was able to accommodate our singer who sang a song at the reception. Every detail we wanted was fulfilled. Cleveland followed all of our requests and kept the party going all night! Blue Root and Cleveland in particular was terrific for our wedding. He kept the evening moving along, played the songs we wanted and was a pro from start to finish. We also had a live band so he had the added duty of coordinating with the band which was seamless. Strongly Recommend. Cleveland was very professional. He was responsive to all emails and worked with determination to make our wedding the best and most memorable night. He was accommodating to all of our needs, including playing the music and setting up all equipment for our outdoor ceremony. He then came in and worked the crowd throughout the cocktail hour and evening. Everyone was raving about how much they enjoyed him running the show for us! He was getting out and asking people what songs they liked and getting everyone on the dance floor. EVERYONE danced at least 1 song if not for the entire evening. They was a diverse range of music that played all evening. All guest we impressed that there was never a lull in the music. Cleveland was very knowledgable and helpful with recommendations. Again, strongly recommend Cleveland for any event.

From the moment I met Cleveland for the interview through the final moments of our event he was professional, flexible and a pleasure to work with. I met Cleveland when I went to look for my wedding dress at David's Bridal in Plymouth Meeting. He seemed so laid-back and easy going... just the type of person I wanted to help make my wedding day special. Before committing it was important that my now husband was also in agreement so the 3 of us met up and the rest is history! Throughout the entire process Cleveland went above and beyond our expectations - helping us find songs for key moments when we were stumped and keeping the dance floor moving the day of our wedding. We just got our pictures back and I was pleasantly surprised to see Cleveland out on the dance floor with my guests, leading them through one of the line dancing type songs. I would not hesitate to recommend Cleveland to any of my friends and family. You will be in excellent hands if you decide to go with Cleveland!

Cleveland was a pleasure to work with. Our meetings before the wedding were well organized and it made us feel confident that he had everything under control and allowed us to focus on other planning. On the day of the wedding Cleveland arrived early and had everything setup for our ceremony and wedding. He was able to find all of the unique songs we wanted to use and also edit them as we asked. He was very accommodating to all of our request. The best part about Cleveland is that he really knows music and is a great MC. He played the perfect songs at the perfect times and kept people dancing all night long. It was a huge relief that when we booked Cleveland we knew we had nothing to worry about and that the DJ would be great.

Cleveland from Blue Root Entertainment was absolutely incredible to work with! He DJ'd our wedding last month, and he did not disappoint! Leading up to the wedding, he got back to us right away and was very accommodating. He was more affordable than all of the competitors and was professional yet relatable. My fiance and I wanted a DJ that didn't sound like a sports announcer and wasn't too "corny". Cleveland was exactly what we wanted. He had everyone on the dance floor all night long, and played a wide array of music, playing exactly what we wanted at all the right times! Several of our guests raved about the music. I cannot say enough good things about Cleveland. In my opinion, you won't find anyone better for his price in this area.

Cleveland DJ-ed my wedding several weeks ago, and my husband and I could not be happier with how he lead our event!!! He really set the right tone and made the night fun for everyone. I heard Cleveland when I was out one night at a bar in center city, and I liked his work so much that I walked up to him that night and asked if he could DJ my wedding. He had the party at the bar going all night, everyone loved what he was playing, and he played the songs for the perfect amount of time. He did the same at my wedding! He was perfect at MC-ing also because he covered everything we needed to cover (bouquet toss, bridal party entrances, cake cutting, etc.). He was also great at timing everything, so that if people were having fun dancing, he didn't cut off the flow, but at the same time, he got everything done on our schedule! He worked great with our wedding planner who was there that night also - they collaborated really well. Cleveland is very professional and easy to work with. When we had our first meeting with him, he asked us some general questions about how many people were in our bridal party and what type of music we liked, he also asked about what types of activities we would be doing (i.e. first dance,, bouquet toss, etc.). As the event got closer, he asked us to fill out a detailed form, where we got to pick a ton of songs and write out our wedding party's names so he could announce them. We discussed everything with him about what we had written before the wedding. He really wanted to make sure he understood what we wanted, and really seemed to care that we got everything that was important to us. Cleveland followed our wishes very closely on the wedding day and really gave us exactly what we wanted!! If you go with Cleveland for your wedding, you will be VERY happy you did!!!!

Five stars all around! Cleveland was awesome! He did our ceremony and our reception. The ceremony was beautiful and flawless, and our reception was a blast! Our guests literally keep telling us it was funnest wedding they have ever been to. Cleveland was so professional and attentive the whole time. We had to plan the wedding long distance since we don't live in the area, and Cleveland was very understanding and flexible with our schedule. And as a bride who was completely clueless about what actually happens at a wedding, he was very helpful and had great ideas. Cleveland was an amazing find! During the months of planning, and on a day where a lot details managed to go haywire, Cleveland was one of the few constants that helped to make our special day was a success. He went above and beyond to make sure the music was perfect (and I assure you both my wife and I were very picky) and worked with all the other vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch. When the original officiant failed to show up or even call, Cleveland met with the fill in on 45 minutes notice to provide technical support and organization for the nuptials. We couldn't have been happier with Blue Root Entertainment, and I can't recommend them enough. Cleveland was a consummate professional, support system and a damned good DJ all in one!

He was great about feeling out our crowd and getting people on the dance floor! He went above and beyond.... We even got him out on the dance floor teaching us how to "Dougie"!
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cleveland! He is awesome and will definitely exceed your expectations!

Cleveland of Blue Root Entertainment was excellent! He was very professional, timely, dependable, and so knowledgable of different genres of music. Cleveland worked with my husband and I to make sure we heard every song that we and our guests wanted to hear. He was so organized and managed his time and our event so well, I didn't have to worry about a thing! It's clear that Cleveland can just take a look at any crowd and know exactly what songs to play to get everyone out on the dance floor. I recommended him to one of my friends already, and will continue to tell my friends.

Everything was fabulous! Cleveland from Blue Root Entertainment was the best DJ we could've asked for to DJ our wedding. We got married Sept 14th, 2013 and he made our day absolutely amazing! He was very friendly and accommodating. He played all the songs that we had requested and more! Our dance floor was packed all night long and we continue to get comments about how much fun our wedding was. I would definitely recommend Cleveland to anyone getting married or hosting a special event! If we ever hold another event in which we need a DJ, we will definitely choose Cleveland as our DJ! He is amazing!

I can not even begin to express how much we enjoyed Cleveland Morris as our wedding DJ. From our first meeting we knew he was going to be outstanding. He was able to meet all of our needs with music and did a great job joining our Irish/Country music theme. We heard from several of our guests that they really enjoyed our DJ and thought he really showed us a good time!

Cleveland Morris of Blue Root was an absolute pleasure to work with! He came highly recommended by a friend at work and for good reason. His global knowledge of how all elements interplay during a wedding reception made him a logistical asset at our venue where he (one man) was called upon to support a ceremony by the Delaware River, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception (in multiple areas of Glenfoerd Mansion) seamlessly. Personable and reliable, Cleveland handled a couple changes on the fly with composure. My only regret was missing a couple of important dances Mother/Groom and final dance with bride. Not sure it was up to Cleveland to call or track me down... but that would be my only suggestion for others.

Being very stressed and rushed for time, we gave Cleveland the flexibility to choose many of our "important" songs for us! We could not have been happier with his creativity in choosing the perfect songs! He really thought outside the box, which was perfect for our not so traditional wedding!

Cleveland was an amazing DJ! We are still getting compliments about the music at our wedding! I have a high energy family that loves to party and Cleveland met every hope we had for our reception. Friendly, outgoing, fun...I can't say enough great things! Plus the price was perfect! Not only did he keep the party going but he was really great about making sure everyone knew what was going on. (Something I felt strongly about after missing the cake cutting at my sister's wedding because the DJ didn't make a real announcement!) If you're looking for a DJ that's not only talented but friendly and makes you feel comfortable go with Blue Root Entertainment!!

Cleveland did an amazing job at our wedding. Especially considering we had some last minute switches he had to adjust in the schedule and introductions. Every song played exactly when needed and you could certainly tell he has a lot of experience with weddings! He was able to accommodate some old school traditions at the request of the grooms older family (40-70yo) and also still kept our younger crowd (25-35yo) entertained, happy and dancing without it being inappropriate lol! Pleasure to work with, was great with coordinating with us and our photographers too! Can't lose, Cleveland did amazing!
