  Very nice and professional staff!

  We hired BRES for our wedding and they were very nice and professional throughout our whole wedding! Bridgett was an amazing bartender!

  Blue Ridge Event Staffing is the absolute best!! We were absolutely blown away by the quality of service they provided for our wedding of 70 guests. We hired a bartender and server for our wedding, and they both went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Not only did they rock it out behind the bar and providing table side service, they bent over backwards helping set-up the reception area; made sure the decor was perfect; provided our guests with everything they could possibly need; checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night; cut and served the wedding cake; and helped break-down and clean everything up. We seriously cannot say enough good things about Kai and his crew. Thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect!!

  Blue Ridge Event Staffing provided AWESOME bartenders for my wedding! Not only were they polite, helpful and fun to be around, they were great about seeking me out and making sure I always had a drink. By the end of the night, they were a part of the party! Also, ahead of time, they could not have been more helpful in advising me and working out the details. Would book them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to everyone!

  Blue Ridge Event Staffing took care of our wedding of 140 people without a single glitch. They are/were the best. Bartender, Bar-back, and servers all top notch. I would highly recommend this service group. Planning was also a breeze and I would use them again, no question. Would give them a 10 if the scale went that high!

  We were very impressed with Kai and his team. He was very responsive and flexible to our needs. He also preferred phone contact over email, which I thought was a very welcome personal touch. He and his team went above and beyond to check our caterer ahead of time to make sure everything would run smoothly on the big day. Thanks to them everything went smoothly and both bartending and catering came with a friendly smile. Definitely recommend.

  Blue Ridge Staffing rocks! This is my first review of a business on the internet because when I feel this good about someone I've worked with, I have to do something. I was referred by a referral to Kai, studied his website and called him. What was clear from the beginning is that Kai is honest, he cares about his people, and he truly enjoys helping to make an event successful.
  
  We had a family meeting with 12 people, more or less over a week including 3 babies. Kai asked key questions in the initial phone call that brought clarity and organization into my own plan as he determined what my needs would be. He offered alternatives and encouraged me to choose according to my own comfort level. We went forward with an ease that seemed unimaginable to me.
  
  In the end we had a private chef with an assistant plus, on one particular day, an extra helper. All 3 people were qualified, cheerful, and worked well together. They dealt with unexpected surprises such as mice in the kitchen of the vacation rental with proficiency and professionalism. (Every dish and pan was washed and stored to preserve hygiene.) They managed an interesting array of settings, indoors and outside complete with linens and flowers, and did so seamlessly.
  
  Finally, we took a check to Kai. I had added in a gratuity and noted it on the check but forgot to subtract out a $1,000 deposit! I can't say with certainty I would have ever caught my mistake. Kai called me the next day when he discovered it!
  
  I'm grateful to him for calling the error to my attention and returning the deposit to me. Over and above gratitude, I feel safer in the world when such high personal standards and character touch me.
  
  Bravo to Blue Ridge Staffing! I hope I have an occasion to work with them again. Until then, I enjoy the memory.

  Kai and Blue Ridge Bartending did an outstanding job at my wedding. The bartenders that served at my wedding were professional and provided quick service to our guests! Kai was very easy to work with and he always responded to emails/phone calls quickly! I highly recommend using their services for your next event!

  We used Blue Ridge bartenders to help staff a large wedding outside of Asheville, NC. Kai and his staff were organized, well trained and genuinely kind. More than professional service and quality. Will certainly use their services again.

  Kai and staff are truly amazing. They went out of their way to make sure my daughter’s wedding spectacular. From the first call I made to Kai, reassured me that his staff was available and capable of handling whatever needed to be done.   It's disappointing to have to give a negative review looking back on the best of my life, but it's necessary. I was so excited to initially find Blue Ridge Event Staffing and happy to know they had worked an event at my venue already. Through our planning experience the company was great and extremely responsive. They made me feel at ease like they really had their act together. Unfortunately when it was time for action, they just didn't deliver. The night started with them sending an employee home before the wedding even started, without an explebtation as to why. We were told by the lead staff that we would be reimbursed for the wages for this worker and things would be fine. At that point you can't stress about it and just have to roll with it, but things weren't fine by the end of the night. The staff seemed stressed all night being short handed, some details weren't attended to, and my new husband and I were stuck cleaning up and moving things out of the venue at the end of the night because they were short staffed and moving slow (all while our guests were waiting for us at a nearby bar for the after party). As we were leaving, the staff said that because we were "running late," they wouldn't reimburse anything. We were supposed to be out of the venue by 11:30pm and we left at 11:01pm. Not sure how that was "late?" In addition, they cut up served our anniversary cake instead of boxing it up. Anniversary cakes are pretty standard in the wedding industry and this seemed like nothing but a rookie move. In short, my family and I busted our butts the help them at the end of the night, we paid for staff that wasn't there, and they served the anniversary cake we paid extra for. No one has contacted us since the event to even follow up which prompted this review. I just wish their professionalism during the planning experience carried through to the actual event night, when it really matters. Overall, disappointing.

  Terrible service, didn’t do the jobs contracted for

  We are extremely displeased with the service we had at our wedding on Saturday. In summary we had the worst service from this company, servers had bad attitudes, they didn’t do the jobs they were contracted to, and when emailing the company afterward we got no response.
  I was very clear in previous conversations on what I needed the caterers for and they failed to meet all expectations. Starting with dinner, I had 6 chafers (2 chicken, 2 Mac & cheese, 1 fruit, 1 salad), they used 4 and had the salad and fruit on the to go platters they arrived in making the tables look tacky. They were just standing around not serving food behind the buffet table so I had to get up and tell them to start serving people as they came up for food and they seemed surprised that they had to work. Next they left early and not until the time contracted for. We were supposed to have them until 9:30 (with a designated hour from 8:30-9:30 for clean up) and it was shortly after that that we found all of the chafers covered in food, and a bridesmaid told me they left around 9 and she thought it was odd that they left early. Since we found everything covered in greasy food, me, the bride and my husband were scrubbing dishes all night on our wedding night. On top of all of that they were very rude, never once greeted us, introduced themselves, or spoke to us, and they didn’t smile once throughout the night. I had several guests mention how they looked miserable.
  The only reason I hired caterers is so that they would serve food for us and clean up after and I ended up having to do a lot myself. They even received tips early in the night and it’s absolutely ridiculous for how they handled themselves. Currently trying to get a refund because it was a giant waste of their overly expensive pricing. Stay away.
