  Amazing experience!

  Blue Dot created an amazing atmosphere, seamlessly moving from a welcoming vibe before dinner to an upbeat tone as we danced into the night. We couldn't have been happier with their professionalism and the genuine good energy they gave off from start to finish!

  Amazing band for a wedding!

  We hired the Blue Dot Jazz Troupe for our December wedding. They were amazing! Andy was very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions quickly. The band was able to set up easily at the venue and helped keep us on our timeline. We loved the set list that the band put together. It was a great mix of classics and new music. Their musicality and energy were top notch. We also got nothing but rave reviews from our friends and family! Our guests were on the dance floor for the whole night. We would definitely book them again for another event.

  Great Band!

  Choosing Blue Dot Jazz for our wedding music was a decision that paid off in spades. Their performance was the perfect complement to our day, providing just the right atmosphere at the right moments.
  
  Each member of the band displayed remarkable talent, mastering their instruments with a style that appealed to both dedicated jazz lovers and those new to the genre. They had a seamless ability to know when to provide a gentle musical backdrop for conversation and when to ramp up the energy and draw everyone’s attention with their sound.
  
  The lead singer was particularly notable for their impressive vocals, adding depth and character to our wedding soundscape. Beyond their musical prowess, the band was very friendly and easy to work with. Their amiable disposition made them not just performers but an integral part of the celebration’s success.
  
  Blue Dot Jazz proved to be an excellent choice, delivering professionalism and lively entertainment. They struck a chord with guests of all ages, and their performance is one we’ll remember fondly as a special part of our wedding day.

  Hire this band for your event - SO great

  Blue Dot delivered the perfect experience for my wedding. Each member of the band is incredibly talented and they play together with a chemistry that few other wedding bands can match. They brought great energy all night and were happily willing to play different styles of music at our request. I cannot recommend them enough.

  Blue Dot a perfect choice for our wedding

  We heard about Blue Dot through a friend who had them play at their own wedding. They came highly recommended, and did not disappoint! Extremely professional and lovely group, and we and all of our wedding guests loved their music. Easy 5 star rating!

  Blue Dot Jazz Troupe Pleasant Melodies Well-Received

  The Blue Dot Jazz Troupe above all else plays soothing jazz melodies. They never compete with the wedding party and guests but offer appropriate background music. Rooted in the music of New Orleans, they blend blues, funk, and Afro-Cuban melodies. They are also very accommodating for any special requests.

  Great experience!

  BlueDotJazz Troupe was a fantastic addition to our wedding day. They were very easy to work with, learned the music we preferred to a tee, and really stole the show! Andy and his group are so responsive, friendly and some of the best musicians I have ever heard play at a wedding. Highly highly recommend!

  Perfect Addition to a Wedding

  Blue Dot Jazz Troupe performed at my daughter's wedding in September 2018. They were the perfect addition to the evening and their music helped set the tone of what was a beautiful wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They were wonderful to work with - couldn't recommend them enough!

  Andy and the Blue Dot Jazz Troupe were brilliant! They were perfect for our wedding party and played through the reception, dances, and dinner. Fully recommend and great to work with.

  Fantastic band!

  We hired Blue Dot Jazz Troupe for our wedding and the band is extremely talented. They have a vast knowledge of styles of jazz, a great song bank, and understood our style and requests. The band played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and a portion of the reception. They played everything from "La Vie en Rose" to Stevie Wonder and we even did a second line! Andy and the band are so professional. They worked very well with our DJ and also a friend of mine who sang with them at the wedding. So accommodating, excellent musicians, professional, and fun! One of the easiest vendors we worked with and made a huge impact on our event! Will hire again!

  The best experience !

  Blue Dot Jazz, especially Andy, were phenomenal - from prompt communication, transparency in pricing, and professionalism in their service. We decided very early on in our wedding planning that we wanted a live band and were so glad we found Blue Dot. I was a bit apprehensive about not having a DJ for our reception for all our grand entrances, etc, but they reassured me through their past experience, and it turned out so much better than I would have ever imagined! So if you're looking to hire a jazz band, Blue Dot is it, and if you're in between about hiring a DJ vs. a band, Blue Dot will also deliver 100%!

  Amazing band with great energy

  Such a great band. The music was really good. We got a lot of unsolicited good feedback about the band from our guests. Also, they were really thoughtful about the playlist and the requests that we sent them, and they worked with us to figure out complicated audio issues.

  Great trio for your cocktail hour
