Katie was an absolute creative genius when it came to our invitation suite. She was flexible when I wasn’t sure about the style I was looking for, and was very knowledgeable in the do’s and don’ts for invitations. She even coordinated the floral watercolor with our florist so that it would match the day of our wedding. We’ve so far successfully sent them out and have received tons of comments from our guests of how gorgeous our suite turned out. I know invitations don’t rank high on everyone’s budget, but they meant a lot to me. I wanted to be able to frame them, to look back and appreciate them. I feel so lucky that we had the opportunity to work with Katie. If you feel the same way about wanting the ‘wow’ factor on your invitations, definitely contact Blu3 Designs! -

Katie was amazing to work with
I used Blu3 Designs for our wedding invitations, welcome sign, table numbers and seating chart! Katie is incredibly talented and phenomenal to work with. We were from out of town so a lot of communication was through email, Katie was always quick to respond and came up with the perfect designs to match our decor and style. We can’t thank Katie enough for all she did to make our big day perfect! -

Adriana Sent on 09/23/2017I had the pleasure to work with Katie on my wedding invitations and all the other paper goods for my wedding day! OMG where do I start? everything was perfect from start to finish. We had an idea of what we wanted but Katie gave us so many options and she knew all the greatest and latest trends and colors. Our invitations were custom made with a gorgeous monogram printed on off white cotton paper. The quality of print and paper was superior. I can't recommend Blu3 Designs enough! All our guests were raving about our beautiful invitations - Hire Katie and your guests will be so impressed with your invites! She also designed our Thank You cards, menus and place cards. -

For our June 2019 wedding, with a 300 person guest list, we chose to book Katie from Blu3 Designs for our formal invitation suite and all day of paper including ceremony programs, menus, table numbers, signage, seating assignment chart, place cards, etc. From the start, we were impressed with Katie's prompt responsiveness and wiliness to make modifications to stationery designs with our invitation suite. She is a truly talented designer, with a multitude of ideas to make your paper goods stand out! Katie does not include invitation suite assembly in her standard packages (it is available as an add-on), and we were happy to do the assembly ourselves. However, during assembly, we experienced an array of issues, predominately involving the inner envelope liners. A few inner envelope liners were delivered to us adhered inside the envelopes crooked. A few inner envelopes had two liners adhered on top of each other. And the majority of inner envelope liners had the glue adhesive applied so sloppily that the envelopes were stuck together in the packaging, which caused the liners and envelopes to tear when separated. To make matters worse, when these issues were presented to Katie she admitted that she failed to check our invitation suite order for quality prior to delivery to us. She was also quick to inform us that we were making her aware of these issues more than 48 hours after delivery, which was a part of our contract, and that ultimately, she is not responsible for the quality of the product her printer partner produces, as they are a third-party provider and she is not responsible for their printing. She did begrudgingly refund a portion of our cost of for the poor quality of the inner envelopes. Closer to the wedding date, we began our second order with Katie designing our day of paperie. I was hopeful that the issues we experienced with the invitation suite were merely an odd fluke occurrence. Unfortunately, we had more careless errors when it came to our day-of paperie. Since she admitted that she had not checked our first order, both my wedding coordinator and myself requested that she personally check each product prior to delivery to us. She assured us that she would. Unfortunately, multiple pieces of signage were printed in what appeared to be grayscale, or black and white. The vibrant colors in our design proof were printed out to be a muted gray. Again, when we brought these issues to Katie's attention, she had more excuses and blamed the poor print quality on her printing partner. She reminded us that her printing partner is a third-party company, and that she is not to be held responsible for the quality of their work. She did have the signs remade for us, however, her comments were out of line and inappropriate. Particularly after assuring both myself and our wedding coordinator that each product would be checked by her prior to delivery. Working with Katie was daunting and produced a great deal of anxiety at her unwilliness to accept responsibility for the issues with her products. Even if she made some things right in the end, it was not without her complaining and excuses. I WOULD NOT recommend this vendor. -
