We had a phenomenal experience with Blue Couture. We had Maribel as our main videographer for our engagement and wedding photos and she made us feel very comfortable. Maribel was also great at recommending different poses we hadn’t thought about. We received our video after our wedding and still can’t stop looking at them. We love how they turned out. -

Maribel and Alena worked with us for our wedding and I could not have asked for a better duo to be with us throughout our planning process and wedding day. They are so professional and knowledgeable. Anything I had questions about or had concerns about they had already thought of and dealt with. We had a problem arise the week of our wedding with a vendor which Maribel and Alena resolved swiftly and without panic. They are so comforting, accommodating, and a joy to work with. I know they work with so many couples, but as a couple, we will only ever have one coordinator so they will always hold a special place in our hearts. -

Maribel and her team do wonderful work! I hired her at the last minute (a few weeks before the wedding). I wasn't going to hire a videographer because it was so expensive and they all wanted to charge thousands of dollars and create an entire cinematic movie production. All I wanted was to document the event so I thought about hiring a student. But then I realized that this was a once-in-a-lifetime event and I needed a professional. It was the second marriage for both us and all three of our children were in the wedding so it was very important that we capture this memory. So I started reading reviews and came upon Maribel’s name. I looked at her website and really liked her work. I was so lucky that she was available for my wedding day! I told her what I wanted and she worked with me to meet my budget. She was very responsive and very flexible. She and her assistant were wonderful to work with and they created the most amazing wedding highlight video which was included. Blu Couture was the easiest vendor for me to decide on. Our reception venue recommended them, so I contacted Maribel, and booked them without any hesitation. It was so easy, Maribel was so flexible and understanding, reminding me when payments were due and when I owed her a timeline of the day. Maribel was our videographer on the day of the wedding, and she was great! She worked with our shifted timeline and was very subtle, not in the way of anything. I've been to weddings before when the videographer was right in the spotlight, but honestly, I didn’t notice Maribel until my husband and I left the reception for a few minutes for some sunset photo ops. Maribel tagged along with our photographer for that. -

Maribel at Blu Couture was a dream to work with. We hadn't originally intended to have videography, but when our grandparents couldn't attend, we decided that a videographer was critical. Maribel was highly recommended by our photographer (Laura Ford), so we connected with her and it was an instant match. We can't say enough good things about Blu Couture. Maribel and the team were wonderful to work with from beginning to end! They were so easy and comfortable to be around and we felt confident they would do an amazing job. They delivered! We were thrilled with all of our wedding videos! (highlight reel + ceremony +speeches) The sound came out great, editing is beautiful, transitions with music are seamless, they were able to capture some really wonderful moments and the whole package was well worth the price. After a terrible experience with our previous videographer, our wedding planner referred us to Blu Couture, and from that first meeting on, we knew Maribel was passionate about her work! She is detailed, flexible to work with, and so kind. She asked us what was important to us on the day so she made sure to include it in the highlight video and when the trailer came out, we were so in shock that something as disheveled as a wedding day could come together so seamlessly. Our friends and family were very impressed with the highlight video and my now husband and I watch it all the time with wide grins on our faces. When we first met them, we were struck by their energetic and fun personalities. Their passion for videography instantly apparent, and at the same time they were so relatable and easy to get along with. Since then, interacting with them at every step of the journey has continued to be a great pleasure. They are some of the kindest and most fun friends we made throughout the process and we were just a joy to be around on our wedding day. On top of that, they are exceptionally talented and amazing at what they do!! While their body of work speaks for itself, I honestly don’t have words for how incredible & beautiful our wedding video came out. It has definitely exceeded our expectations & we were mind-blowingly impressed with the final product. Not only did they capture the moments most special to us, but the way they integrated everything so elegantly and professionally (including gorgeous aerial footage of our city!) was creative genius. If you are looking for something that will truly blow you away, then your search has ended here with Blu Couture. Marty and Mandie provide a one-of-a-kind presentation of your wedding day with spectacular filmography that is only found in award winning cinema. Whether it be a pre-wedding "Love Story", where first encounters are re-lived, or the wedding film itself, Blu Couture pushes the boundaries, then breaks down the walls of conventional wedding film. Take a look at their amazing work and you will see for yourself that this is no ordinary "video".
My wife and I filmed our Love Story a while back with Blu Couture. Rather than the usual, run of the mill photo slide show, we decided to show this masterpiece at our wedding reception. The feedback from our guests was jaw-dropping. A few of my groomsmen came up to me and said they'd rather marry me than their own wives! Other women were sobbing due to the sheer emotion conveyed in the film. Our Love Story is quite possibly one of our fondest treasures and one which will live with us forever. We cannot wait until our Wedding Film is complete. We will be like 7 year-olds on Christmas morning when it is ready.
Again, Blu Couture is more than just a videographer. If you want 6-10 hours of a camera fixated in one location showing every drab detail, go elsewhere. If you want the memory of your wedding portrayed like the fairytale, Hollywood dream that it is, Blu Couture, ladies and gentlemen... -

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That’s the best way to explain my experience with this company.
Sure, they were responsive when you inquire with them, and the prices were reasonable. My husband and I decided to go with them because they seemed to have good reviews (the reviews here are questionable aka FAKE ACCOUNTS, because I’m not sure how they could get anything higher than 3 stars) and the price was right.
The moment we signed our contract, it took 4-5 times to finally get a response. Planning a wedding is stressful enough; it shouldn’t take a bride that many times to confirm that someone from Blu will be showing up to the big day.
The finished product? It took almost 6 months to get a preview, let alone the actual footage. And I’m using “footage” very loosely here because you don’t get any raw footage of the actual ceremony or reception. It’s very unfortunate that we cannot watch our full ceremony, but can watch random clips of guests coming in and chatting, but not the important parts, like VOWS.
In the end, it is worth doing your homework a little more and spending a little more if it means that you don’t hire this company.
Please read the bad reviews, because whatever they say, is actually true.
