Amazing Bridal Shop
What a fantastic bridal shop, a true hidden gem in Long Island! The staff was fantastic and not pushy like other shops I visited. They work with you in regards to your budget and to what you like.
The owner, Dahlia, was the absolute best! Not only does she own the shop, she is familiar with every single dress and is the main alterations director, so working with her was amazing! I had a pretty complicated dress that needed a serious custom bustle, and she did it to perfection!
The shop is located in such a convenient location, steps from the road and plenty of parking on the main road.
I highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for your bridal gown, you won’t be disappointed!! They also have fantastic options for mother of the bride/groom! -

Blossom Brides came in clutch within the last 3 weeks before my wedding when my initial wedding dress was deemed unalterable. In my panic, they kept me calm and were very patient with me while searching for a brand new dress. They found me a GORGEOUS dress and worked with me to make sure it fit perfectly for my wedding day. I’m eternally grateful! The whole team is amazing and I can’t express enough how much I recommend them for your wedding dress needs 😊 -

Friendly staff, outstanding customer service
I had a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly, not pushy & made me feel very comfortable. The most amazing thing was that I purchased a sample dress which was a size 16 and they transformed it to fit me perfectly at a size 00!! I highly recommend them! -

Dalia was so insightful when it came to helping me decide on some things that needed to be changed for my dress. I had kind of a stressful time looking for wedding dresses, but at Blossom Brides, they took all that away! Sherry was so patient, kind, and understanding, and really respected my budget without any judgement, which I appreciated! Working with Dahlia was amazing too because you can tell that she really loves her job and knows what she's doing. I was so excited for all of my dress fittings, and at the end, Dahlia let me keep everything that she took off of my dress! She really transformed it, too - it was even more beautiful when she was done with it! I loved working with Blossom Brides so much. -

Dahlia and Janine were amazing to work with throughout the entire dress process. Dahlia hung out to my dress during the pandemic when most stores forced postponed brides to take the dresses even when they were incomplete. I appreciate her taking the time to redo my fittings. My dress fit like a glove. I am thrilled that we used Blossom Bride. Janine was great to work with. I went in knowing zero of what I wanted and she was super patient. I found my dress on Appt #1 and never looked back. -

Unbelievably beautiful
All the ladies that work at blossom brides are extremely nice friendly and helpful. Within the second time we went in there I felt like we knew them so well already. I don’t even have words to describe Dahlia and how unbelievably talented she is. Everybody there a made made our experience wonderful and our dresses were breathtaking. I remember turning around for the first look photos with my wife and I was stunned at what Daliah had created with her dress. I love both dresses so much that I’m almost sad I can’t find another reason to wear it. If you are planning on getting married and you do not go to blossom Brides you are truly missing out!!! Thank you so much to blossom brides for assisting in making it the best day of our lives. -

I had the most wonderful experience at Blossom Brides. Ms. Janette was so pleasant and respectful as well as patient and kind. She paid close attention to detail knowing exactly what kind of dress I wanted. She helped me find the perfect Casa Blanca dress based on my description and made me look like a princess. The prices are reasonable. I truly appreciate how the staff made me feel extra special with each visit. During my fittings I was given great advice, education, instruction and brutal honesty from the owner in which I completely appreciate. When the COVID19 Pandemic forced me to postone my wedding. Blossom Brides was kind enough to called me reassuring me not to worry. That they would store my gown unitl I chose another date at no charge or time limit & included another fitting free of cost. I highly recommend their amazing services. -

I went to Blossom Brides for my wedding gown alterations. Dalia not just did the alterations; with her vision, she transformed my gown from very plain to something very elegant. I did not expect that at all. She was very effective and she worked fast. My gown was ready in just two fittings.

The ladies at Blossom Brides, including Dahlia, went above and beyond for me. They helped me find a reception dress efficiently and accommodated any requests I had for alterations. Dalia is an AMAZING seamstress who brought in my dress about 6 sizes, and it fit perfectly.
But it doesn't end there! I had ordered a custom-made ceremony dress from a different vendor. Unfortunately, the fit was very poor. Considering it was such an unadorned dress, and, therefore, all about the fit, I was rather upset. I took it to three tailors recommended to me by the original vendor, and none of them did the job well. Before I knew it, it was a month away from my wedding, the dress was dirty from being handled so much, and it still wasn't fitting right.
Dalia was kind enough to take a look at it to see if she could help, and I cannot thank her enough. She truly views the work she does as art and takes every job very seriously. More than that, she cares so much about her brides. She fit the dress beautifully, had it cleaned and absolutely perfect in time for my wedding. -

My wedding dress is my favorite garment I've ever worn and will ever wear, and I owe it to Blossom Brides for helping me find the perfect dress! Janine was patient and knowledgeable as she pulled a variety of styles of dresses for me to try on until I found the perfect one. Then Dalia expertly tailored it until it fit like a glove! I received SO many compliments on my dress! I would only recommend that they steam your dress before pickup because I had a few wrinkles that I had to steam out the morning of my wedding. Other than that, they are the best, and I can't thank them enough for making me feel like a princess! -

Morgan Sent on 09/25/2018I really can't rave enough about Blossom Brides, and Janine in particular! It's a boutique store and the ladies there pay such attention to detail. I found my dress in under 45 mins. Janine knew exactly what my vision and budget were, and stuck with them the whole time! She went above and beyond in getting me different veils to try, and helped me take photos of the options. I also really appreciate how they carry larger sample sizes for the more curvier girls. I'm a bridal size 16 and the sample size they had for "my dress" was my size. I cannot tell you how important it is to make every bride of every size feel beautiful and included, and that's what they did.
You can just tell that everyone there really cares about the brides that walk through their doors. I can't wait to start the alterations process--I've heard wonderful things about Dalia! I only wish I got to them before I went to other stores! They made the process so effortless and fun. I will 100 percent recommend them to any brides looking for their dream dress! -

The first place I went to was nice and very affordable, but as soon as I walked in Blossom Brides, I knew I'd find my dress. It only took Sherie two tries to figure out my style, and that's probably because I told her I was still open to most styles. Otherwise, I think she could have nailed it in one try. They were very accommodating of my budget. My 2nd runner-up dress was very slightly out of my budget. If I hadn't told Sherie that I could go a couple hundred more, I don't think she would have picked it for me. They are very aware of your budget and really stress not going outside of it to avoid disappointment. I asked about a dress that I had pinned on Pinterest, that I figured may be way over my budget, when I found out that Blossom Brides carried the designer. Turns out I was correct. It was twice the amount I wanted to spend. However, my mother kept pushing me to not worry about the budget, so I tried on the dress. And of course, I fell in love. Blossom Brides really worked with me as much as they could and even worked me into a discount that had recently passed. I was and am extremely grateful. If you have the ability to do so, please give them a try! -

They welcomed my entourage, confirmed my information, asked my price range, and got to know my taste before we started to try on gowns. Here you have people who care! Janine was incredible! She truly stuck to what I requested and also showed me a few pieces which she thought would look nice and they did! She accessorized me, showed me different touches we could add, and was so positive! I truly enjoyed my experience and the ease on such a stressful task. LOVE Blossom Brides! -
Kiss Sent on 06/25/2015Blossom Brides is fantastic! I loved Janine! She was wonderful. I got engaged in April 2015 and planned to marry seven months later in November 2015. Janine, didn't scare me feel like I needed to rush and make a decision on the spot with regard to the dress, or that she couldn't help me with finding a dress in so short a time. Or that I would need to pay rush fees to have my dress on time. She was even respectful of my budget by not showing me anything outside of it. Janine understood my style ascetic well enough to give me options and blended what I was looking for in a dress along with what my mother and sisters wanted to see me in. In the end the dress I choose was a total winning combination. My mother and sisters loved it just as much as I did. Thank you so much Blossom Brides and Janine!

Sherie helped me, and somehow knew exactly the right dresses to fit my body type and what I would love! The dresses are so unique, and unlike anything I tried on at other shops. After narrowing it down to 3 dresses on my first appointment, I bought my dress yesterday at the second appointment! Sherie and Janine were so friendly and helpful through the entire process, and never pushed me to make a decision. Janine helped me to also pick out a veil that matched with the dress perfectly! After saying yes to the dress, Sherie took a picture of us (my bridal party, mom, and me) and gave us a bottle of champagne to take home and celebrate! I'm so glad I went here and found the perfect dress! I can't wait for the dress to come in and get it fitted. I'd highly recommend Blossom Brides! -

I had the pleasure of working with Sherie she was helpful, sweet and had a great eye for pulling dresses I had visioned and dresses she thought I would love. I had immediately fallen in love with certain wedding dress and sherie my "fairy wedding dress godmother" said I have a dress that has all of that and more wow factor! It was hard to believe but she had found everything I envisioned my self and so much more on my big day. The smile couldn't be wiped off of my face I even left with a veil which I was strongly so against upon coming in. Blossom brides is a small boutique type of place so if your looking for a more personal experience then this is the place for you. After choosing my dress they came and popped a bottle of champagne and took some photos of me with my family. I can't say enough good things about this place and I can't wait for my dress to come in so I can put it on again. -

The owner was supposed to do custom work to my daughter's wedding dress and prior to cutting the extra material that I paid for, she was supposed to have muslin cut to reflect the custom work which would ensure that the changes would be exactly what the bride wanted. However, when my daughter (who lives 4hrs away) came in for her fitting with the muslin material, it was actually the material that was cut and loosely stitched as her "template" and not muslin. My daughter hated what it looked like and began to cry. Here we were 6 weeks before her wedding and her dress was a disaster! I tried to have the sales person get her a new dress but everything she showed us was not it. She didn't listen to what we wanted to try on she was flustered and not helpful. We left upset and scared that her day would be ruined. The owner was no where to be found, custom work was terrible and the sales person seemed annoyed at US. Ultimately I had to take the dress as it was with no hope of it getting fixed. I wasn't offered to speak nor see the owner to resolve this issue. But God works in my favor and that same evening, we got her a gown that was meant for her ELSEWHERE ! There was never an apology, nor a call afterward to try and fix what was done. So now I have a wedding dress that's in my closet from blossom brides that will NEVER be used. I say if you're looking for an over-rated place to buy your dress go here, but if you're looking for professional seamstress have the alterations done elsewhere. And by all means DON'T DO CUSTOM WORK HERE!
