Pennylyn and her team are amazing. From the first call, my vision and her style were an instant match. I gave her some key flowers I wanted in the arch, bouquets and centerpieces, after that I told her she had full creative freedom to work within our budget. The results blew us away, GORGEOUS. We received so many compliments on the florals and how they were perfect with our beachy vibe and color scheme. Blossom and Bee is the best! They took my choppy idea from a Pinterest board and ran with it. I trusted them and it turned into a beautiful floral display for my wedding. They are super easy to communicate with and have an online portal that makes that seamless. 10/10 would recommend! -

We recently had the pleasure of working with Blossom and Bee for our wedding, and I can honestly say that they exceeded all our expectations!
They truly brought our vision to life. We wanted a fun, vibrant, summer vibe and they absolutely nailed it. The bouquets and bud vase arrangements were stunning and perfectly matched our color scheme. The attention to detail was incredible, and every single arrangement looked like a work of art.
What impressed us the most was Blossom and Bee’s creativity and passion. They provided great ideas and were so responsive to our preferences and feedback. They also worked within our budget, suggesting alternatives that looked just as beautiful without compromising on quality.
On the day of the wedding, when I first saw my bouquet it brought tears to my eyes- breathtaking! Walking into the reception and seeing everything come together was magical. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the flowers, and we were beyond thrilled with how everything turned out.
Thank you, Blossom and Bee, for making our wedding day so beautiful and memorable! We highly recommend Blossom and Bee to anyone looking for a talented and reliable florist for their special occasion! -

Penny and Cassie at Blossom & Bee made our wedding planning so easy, and we enjoyed every second of working with them! From the first planning meeting to the final details meeting, they thought of everything to make sure that our day was perfect. They somehow decoded my half-thought-out ideas and turned them into visions I couldn't have even imagined! They are so passionate about making your day perfect, and I wouldn't have trusted my day with anyone else! -

Penny and her team are absolutely amazing!! She did all of the florals for my wedding and I could not be more impressed with her vision, execution, and how professional she is. I have already recommended her to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so. -

Nicole Sent on 07/14/2014I used Blossom and Bee, specifically Pennylyn, for my flowers for my July 4th wedding. I couldn't be happier! Pennylyn was a pleasure to work with from the beginning, always responding to my questions and giving me great ideas. We collaborated together so well, and her energy and enthusiasm for her craft makes her so enjoyable to work with. She has a great eye for event design. She worked within my budget, and although my budget wasn't too big she gave me everything I wanted and more. I met with other florists prior to choosing Pennylyn and they all just rudely told me that what I wanted and what my budget was didn't match. That wasn't the case with Pennylyn. She's honest and told me that anything could work within my budget, it's just some florists you're paying for the "name" and not for the quality and quantity you should be getting for the money you pay.
My centerpieces were beautiful, my bouquet was outstanding and my girls' flowers were gorgeous as well. The boutonnieres were also so unique, and we received a ton of compliments on all the flowers. For my centerpieces I showed Pennylyn a few pictures of what I would like and she put them together so beautifully. My husband even noticed how beautiful and fresh the flowers were. That says a lot. We've been to a bunch of weddings this year and the quality of Pennylyn's flowers significantly outweigh the competition from what we've seen. It's 10 days and my bouquet is finally being thrown out :-(
All in all, I would definitely recommend Pennylyn to any bride, whether you have a tight budget or not. Her work ethic, eye for design, love for her craft and personality made her an absolute pleasure to work with. I'll be using her again for other events in the future for sure!

Beautiful florals!
Pennylyn is absolutely incredible! From our first phone call, she took so much time to listen to my vision for our wedding and was so willing to work with our budget in such creative ways. She and her team truly brought my vision to life and I was completely blown away when I saw our florals on the day of our wedding, especially the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. Pennylyn and her team are so hands-on and responsive, and she answered my many questions throughout the process. I couldn’t recommend Blossom & Bee more!! -

Kelly Sent on 12/12/2014Penny is a very nice person and when you speak with her, she seems so passionate and willing to do anything to make the bride happy. I really believed in her passion and thought that my day would be absolutely perfect with her as the florist. She has such a bubbly personality and a contagiously cheerful disposition.
This is why I'm so sad that I have to be writing this review right now. She is so sweet, but she is not a good florist. Personality-wise - she's great; Professional-wise - not so much.
First, two days before my wedding, she called me to let me know that she couldn't provide the candelabras that she promised me. So I had to get them myself. Then she came late to my wedding and did a rushed job decorating the candelabras I bought and even left thorns on my bridesmaids roses. To top it off, my bouquet consisted of about 5 roses when we discussed that it would be a full, luscious bouquet.
There were very few flowers in the reception and the centerpieces fell apart. We paid her $1900 and we didn't get our money's worth at all. On top of that, she still wanted to ask us for more money after the wedding. When I told her that I was unhappy with a few things that she did, she even said that she didn't believe me.
She also has a very bad memory. I had to remind her of things in our contract numerous times, and even though she takes notes at every meeting we had, she didn't look at them often, as she continuously forgot things that she promised us. She responds in a decent amount of time, but she just doesn't pay attention to things that she discusses with her customers.
I just can't believe that things turned out so badly. I expected so much from her, especially because of all her glowing reviews and the fact that she seems to be so passionate about her job. It really seemed like she wanted to do her best for us and make it the best day, but she just took our $1900 and delivered poor service.
Very disappointed for my wedding. -

She flags negative reviews and asks her friends to leave positive ones. This review had to be shortened because of the character limits.
I am only commenting from a business perspective only. This is a review based on my experience with the owner of the company.
Extremely long story short: Penny isn’t someone you want to engage with if you want a good looking, full look,
She was repeatedly unorganized, always late and full of excuses throughout the course of this business relationship. I ignored the red flags against my better judgement due to the recommendation being so close to home.
Penny was surface level kind and behaved as if she was on our team. When she didn’t like what she heard she ran to other clients and discussed my contract with others ironically breaking one of her own rules - making the agreement null and void. Or so - one would think. She’s made sure to put a severabilty clause in the contract meaning even if one part of the contract isn’t fulfilled or broken, the rest of the contract still stays intact.
She victimized herself instead of taking accountability. It’s one thing if you can’t do it but to say you can deliver after being given clear visual expectations and still come up short is where the problem begins. I do understand every artist is going to be sensitive about their craft but at this point its about integrity and professionalism.
Fast forward leaving out A LOT:
She overcharged us by over $600. Her response? Well because we went overtime at your wedding and you owe us (3 people) on her team $1350 for overtime so we aren’t going to return anything. All the event staff said Penny only brought one other person - and they were both 2 hours late. If they were in time, no “overtime” would have been needed.
She lied about the amount of staff provided, overtime, cake florals that were missed that she all of a sudden blamed on our venue - which they laughed about.
The amount of time she took to set the venue speaks to the mediocrity and potentially her low leadership skills. Nothing else. Our agreements were clear and we both understood her team wouldn’t touch the candelabras but she told me there was a fee (only after pretending there wasn’t) to help light the actual pillar candles (I purchased after her recommended vendor cancelled three weeks before the wedding on me and I had to scramble to procure other candles) which I agreed. But when it was time to deliver? She didn’t light one candle. Not a single one.
She came off as scatterbrained, disorganized, forgetful and full of excuses from the first week we met. Rescheduling agreed upon meetings, when rescheduled is hours late to be met with another push back, to then be met with more lateness.
She only responds after the fact when met with disparaging reviews or something that paints her in an unflattering light, even though she swears she wants to come to a amicable resolution.
Our experience was terrible. Would never recommended. -
