Best Day with Gratitude! Worth Every Penny!

From day one, we felt as though Melanie had been our friend forever. Her easy and approachable manner made us comfortable in discussing all the details of planning our daughter's, and now son in law's, wedding. She listened intently and carefully, offering guidance about things we hadn't even considered which made all the difference in executing what our daughter had envisioned. Her ability to work, with great rapport, with the venue and all of the vendors made the whole process run smoothly from the start of planning to the big day. The day of the wedding everything came to fruition, largely because of Melanie, and the couple had the dream wedding they had envisioned without a snag (and if there was one, we wouldn't have known, because Melanie would have already troubleshooted and taken care of it). Melanie's organizational skills, eye to detail, and ability to relate to people lended itself to the execution of a perfect day that will be remembered and cherished forever. I cannot recommend Melanie enough. She is true gold!

Melanie is the best!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Melanie! From the very first meeting, she made us feel completely at ease and truly understood our vision for the day. Every detail was handled with such care — from coordinating vendors to managing the timeline and creating a seamless flow that let us fully enjoy the celebration.

Melanie has an incredible gift for anticipating needs before you even realize them. She consistently goes above and beyond at every stage of the wedding planning process. The week before our wedding, she even drove to the town where our guests were staying (at the time buses would be loading) to observe traffic patterns — just to make sure the buses would arrive and depart smoothly on the big day.

When my (now) husband broke his ankle weeks before the ceremony, Melanie didn’t miss a beat. Without being asked, she connected with all our vendors to explain the situation and brainstorm creative solutions to ensure he could still fully enjoy the celebration. Her thoughtfulness, professionalism, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely effortless.

We received so many compliments from guests on how smooth and beautiful everything was — and we owe it all to Melanie. If you’re looking for someone who will bring your dream wedding to life with professionalism, kindness, and heart, we couldn’t recommend Blissful Beginning’s name more highly!

I can't say enough good things about Melanie and my experience planning my wedding with her. She is so on top of everything and very professional. 500/5 stars. Where to begin?! Melanie was the perfect wedding planner in every way. From our first intro meeting, to the many planning meetings over the phone and in person, to our best weekend ever, she was the absolute best of the best and a true professional. She went above and beyond in so many ways I couldn't even keep track. From helping us pick our venue, to connecting us with the best vendors, to helping us make every little decision (yes, I was texting her pictures of my invites for wording help), she truly works her magic at every turn. Our weekend and our day were somehow not stressful at all thanks to her. I cannot imagine have gone through this process without her by my side. Melanie is the best!!

Melanie was the best wedding planner we could have asked for. From our very first meeting, we could tell that Melanie truly cared and wanted to make our wedding perfect for us. We were all over the place when we started the process and Melanie was able to listen to our scatterbrained vision and immediately start pinning down details. Melanie has an awesome reputation in the industry, and you could tell the vendors (band, caterer, photographer, etc.) love working with Melanie. Melanie removed all of the stress of planning a wedding as she was extremely responsive and worked quickly with us to find alternatives when we hit a snag with budget or availability (or difficult family!). We had our wedding in a boathouse with no onsite staff, so Melanie organized the entire event from the ground up. Our wedding weekend could not possibly have gone more smoothly, and while it felt effortless it was clearly because Melanie was running around in the background keeping everyone and everything organized. If you want a fun, stress free planning process and a planner that handles everything to allow you to truly live in the moment and enjoy your wedding weekend then you need Melanie!

Melanie literally made my day

Melanie made my wedding a complete success. Not just the day, but the planning. All of it was pleasurable (never thought I'd say that!), well planned, organized, and everything I had envisioned. She told me the proper timing of all the logistics, referred me to the best pros, and was involved every step of the way. She was my planner, and also my JP. I called her every single time I had a question about anything, down to the invitations. She knew all the proper etiquette, but most of all, she was really good at handling ME! I enjoyed the entire lead up, and the day went so smooth, it was so much fun and every friend and family member has told us our wedding was the most elegant and fun. I will call Melanie every time a friend or family member announces an engagement. She is the BEST.

Melanie is a wedding EXPERT

After working myself in the wedding industry in New England for over ten years, I knew who to call to be my wedding planner when it was my special time. Melanie is a wedding expert at the tip top of the wedding game and everyone knows it. She knows everyone who is the best in the industry and has personal connections with them (therefore you can get something done faster and go to the top of that vendor's callback list). Melanie is funny, is trustworthy, is honest, is a lightening speed responder, and gets sh** done in a drama-free, expert, efficient way. 9months of planning is one thing. But my goodness....Especially for the rehearsal and day of the wedding logistics and LEADING a group of like 50 VIP people who were in some way involved w the ceremony, I could have NEVER done this without her. I didnt even have to raise my voice on the day of the wedding and I had 10 bridesmaids and a tight schedule. Melanie led EVERYONE involved with grace and on TIME. My wedding was literally perfect. I know I have Melanie to thank for that. And my husband:) I would gladly recommend Melanie with 10 stars. Did i mention she is also an ordained minister so she can sign your wedding papers??

The best decision we ever made.

Thank God for Melanie!!! My husband and I must have said that to each other about 1,000 times over the past two years. When I was looking for a planner, I distinctly remember the initial call with Melanie: she listened, she wanted to get to know us and our story, and she wanted to make our wedding happen just as we had always envisioned. She was straightforward and confident. It was clear she knew her stuff, and was one of the most organized humans I had ever met. I immediately trusted her and her judgment. Melanie helped us navigate postponing our wedding twice due to Covid, all with grace and patience as we dealt with the emotions and stress that came with the process. She was always available to talk things through, and she really vouched for us as we dealt with rescheduling vendors. When we decided to have a small civil ceremony last summer as we waited for the larger celebration, we asked Melanie to officiate. She was professional and personalized our ceremony beautifully. All of our guests, and especially our families, were beyond impressed with Melanie during the wedding weekend. She remembered everything, anticipated our every need, and made sure everything was handled so we could all relax and enjoy, which is really what it is all about! I could go on, but you get it: She's the best!

Melanie is the best!!

We have known Melanie for years from working at weddings with her, and luckily she was available to be our officiant! We are so glad we had her to help plan our ceremony and rehearsal. We highly suggest hiring her whether for planning or as an officiant, she knew exactly how to guide our friends and family and keep everyone on track during the rehearsal and wrote exactly what we had in mind for our ceremony. The Best in the Business!!

Everyone needs Melanie at their wedding!!! As a bride who is in the wedding industry, I have worked with a lot of wedding vendors and I knew when it was my time to be a bride, Melanie Voros with Blissful Beginning was an absolute must. Melanie was always so patient, positive, understanding and optimistic during the entire planning process. My husband Pat and I continually changed our wedding plans due to COVID-19 – I think at one point we were on Plan D… Melanie was always a phone call away and always geared up to go with whatever new plan I was throwing at her that day. Melanie was always a phone call/text away which was so helpful when I had a quick question about napkin color, table layout, or just needed some reassurance. Melanie helped us plan our wedding not once but twice, with no questions asked. The week leading up to our wedding, it felt like Melanie was right next to me(even if she wasn’t physically), she was always checking up on me and made sure that I had everything I needed. During the wedding weekend, I had zero things to stress about because Melanie was on top of everything. I knew that the vendors, logistics and décor setup were completely handled by Melanie, and it was everything and more we could have asked for. Hiring Melanie/Blissful Beginnings Was The Best Decision

If you are reading this- hire Melanie. Melanie was the best person we could have had working with us. My husband and I had to cancel our April 2020 destination wedding thanks to COVID-19 and we decided that we wanted to get married locally in July 2020, so there was not much time to delay on putting together the wedding dream team and thank goodness Melanie was available.
She put together a custom 'micro-wedding' package for us and then got to work recommending the perfect caterer and negotiating the menu and contract, assisting with coordinating all the rentals needed for our backyard wedding, providing her years of experience on everything from timeline and setup to how much alcohol to buy and how to serve the food, and just generally answering all of our questions. Did I mention that all this was done in just 2 months? She rocks.
The day of our wedding Melanie hustled around like crazy: picking up our cake, setting up the most beautiful tablescape and creating the perfect ambiance while our families focused on getting ready. She even let us borrow things like signs, baskets, candles and lanterns- which was a huge help and money saver.
In addition, Melanie was our officiant. Yes, she does that too! Our ceremony was poignant and personal and even my uncle that attended, who is a minister that performs weddings all the time, said that the ceremony was perfect.
In summary, Melanie Voros of Blissful Beginnings was the perfect wedding coordinator, especially in a crazy time of shifting rules and guidelines due to COVID-19, and our day would not have gone nearly as well without her. Thank you, Melanie!

Melanie is the absolute best!

Working with Melanie made our wedding planning process go so smoothly. She is a total rockstar and created a dream team of vendors for us that made our wedding weekend go off without a hitch. She not only worked with us to create and design each aspect of our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, but also was our officiant. She wrote up the most beautiful ceremony for us and worked with us to make sure that it was exactly what we wanted. Melanie is so professional and understanding and a true expert in her field. She does anything necessary to make sure that the bride and groom are stress free throughout the weekend by diffusing any issues that pop up. She even stitched me into my dress when I had an issue with it! She is a jack of all trades and we would highly recommend her!

Father of the Bride

My wife and I like to think we throw a pretty good party. We have hosted many over the years. So when our daughter and her fiancée hired Blissful Beginnings, we thought they could have put that money towards something else they could use. It turns out our logic was flawed. The investment in Blissful Beginnings’ services paid huge dividends. This was not only in money eventually saved, but also having the confidence instilled in us by Melanie Voros that she would provide us with the perfect day. She delivered on every level! The best part is you just knew that would be the outcome after the first meeting with her months before the wedding weekend. Melanie listened to what the future bride and groom wanted and provided us with great options, always keeping the budget in mind. She was eventually hired by our daughter’s in-laws to manage the rehearsal dinner for 80+ guests. It was spectacular and so was the wedding!

In the final analysis, if you want to know your kids day to be what they want, stay on a reasonable budget, sleep at night, maintain your own marital harmony, just relax and have fun the entire weekend of the festivities...hire Melanie Voros and Blissful Beginnings!

Melanie is a wedding planning/coordinating rock star!

Melanie does incredible work and working with her was one of the best decisions we made throughout our planning process.

Some highlights of working with her for us - She was always available and responsive and even met with us in person a few times leading up to our big day. We left every conversation with her at ease knowing that we were in good hands. Our actual wedding day was where Melanie really blew us away... She took care of coordinating all of our vendors and making sure our vision came to life. She was always a few steps ahead of us keeping things (and people!) moving so we really got to be present the entire time (small, but meaningful example is that my cool sparkly sneakers just showed up at our table right before the dancing started). In addition to being a rock star coordinator/planner, she also officiated our ceremony. From helping us write the ceremony to actually officiating, she was a true professional.

Working with Melanie was hands down the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. I've never met anyone who is so good at what they do and loves it so much as her. My wife and I can't recommend her highly enough.

In the months leading up to the wedding, she was so easy to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Melanie had a timeline of everything that needed to get done (even the little things) and she made sure we were on-schedule. She gave us excellent vendor recommendations (people told us that the food was the best they've had at a wedding, and the band was a huge hit as well!). She was extremely responsive and would even have us send her things we liked from Instagram for inspiration. Every time we got off the phone with her we would look at each other and say "I'm so glad we have Melanie on our team." She kept us on-budget and helped us understand what it was worth it to spend on as we searched for venues, caterers, bands, flowers, and more.

During the wedding week and weekend, Melanie kept everyone calm and on-task. She made sure all the tents, tables, chairs, etc were delivered on-time and everyone was where they should be. She took care of all the "little things" that we didn't think of and even coordinated our rehearsal. The event was beautiful, and we owe a lot of that to Melanie's tasteful suggestions. (She also let us borrow a lot of her own things like signs and a cake stand.) Melanie was always one or two steps ahead of us on wedding day, and we didn't have to think about where we should be for photos or speeches- we really go to enjoy the day and be present. She was there until the last guest had gone home.

I 100% recommend Melanie, and can't imagine how we would have done it without her.

Hiring Melanie was the best decision that I made in the whole wedding process second only to picking the groom. She was amazing and coordinated between all the vendors on the day. She made sure that I thought of everything that might be needed an executed the vision that I had seamlessly. Every vendor that she recommended was perfect and she made sure that everyone from the wedding party to my grandmother was where they needed to be on the day. She even vetted the Best Man speech which he finished writing the morning of. I honestly don't know where to begin! Mel was EASILY the most important aspect of our wedding. I cannot imagine having planned our day without her. Firstly, she has so many amazing contacts in this industry. She recommended a killer band that our guests could not stop talking about. The live band made all the difference in the feel of the reception. She recommended our florist, who made me the most beautiful arrangements that I could ever imagine. She also recommended a rental company for extra things that made the reception perfect, like spot lights, linens, etc. The end result took our breath away.

Mel is an amazing planner. She has SO much experience, and that really helped us when we weren't sure about certain decisions. I felt like she guided us the whole way. She spent a lot of time just trying to get to know us so that she could understand our personalities and understand our vision for the wedding. She totally "got" us - her recommendations were always spot on!

Her responsiveness is also amazing. She always got back to me within a day. She was absolutely the most reliable part of our planning. No matter if it was a call, email, text, or smoke signal, I would hear back from her ASAP. She (somehow) remembered everything I told her. On the big day, I even saw some details and thought to myself, "oh yeah, I forgot I asked Mel to do that!!"

But the most important thing Mel did for us was give us peace of mind. She came to my house a week before the wedding and picked up all the "stuff" I had been harboring for the wedding. She took it ALL and kept it safe until the big day. It was an incredible relief to be able to enjoy the week approaching the wedding and just get excited. When we got to the reception space, I couldn't believe how it all came together. It's not just about saving us the work, it's about the peace of mind. She is not only a professional, caring wedding planner, but she is also one of the nicest humans I know!

Melanie is completely wonderful! Our wedding was a three day affair and she managed all of the details perfectly. She allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the wedding weekend without any worry. Everything looked amazing, she literally brought my wedding dream to life! Melanie was a god send, and well worth the money. I don't think I could have kept my sanity if it wasn't for Melanie. I first heard about Melanie through mutual friends. I was told she was fantastic and I'd be lucky to get her! Initially I didn’t think we needed a wedding planner and truthfully I was nervous, because I’m a control freak. But, when we finally realized we needed a planner/coordinator for our backyard wedding- we interviewed two women, Melanie and one local woman who used to work for our selected caterer. Seems like a no-brainer, right? The local woman was good, actually really good. But Melanie was better. She was high energy, optimistic, had REALLY good ideas and she allowed me to control anything I wanted- huge bonus for me! We clicked immediately.
I booked Melanie for my June 25th wedding and instantly felt better and so did my parents (who were hosting the wedding at their home). An outdoor backyard wedding means more planning and more vendors, and definitely more work but Melanie had the experience.
Leading up to the big day, Melanie was available every time needed her. She helped with invitation fonts, seating charts, floor plans, coordinating with vendors, overall itinerary, parking, transportation, etc. I could go on and on. One thing that really stood out to my mom and I was how willing Melanie was to provide us with all of her “wedding supplies” as part of her service. Rental companies make a killing on brides viewing cute idea on printerest. Melanie IS the human form of pinterest. She has frames, chalk boards, votives, baskets, lanterns, runners, signs, etc. And if she didn’t have it, she knew exactly where to get it. Somehow, someway she was able to find 200 sparklers for me 3 days before the wedding.
Melanie made me feel completely at ease on the day of my wedding. Melanie was also somehow they only one around when it time to remove my veil and put flowers in my hair. She was certainly qualified for the job, and I was happy she was there for that moment :).
Melanie pulled off quite a day. I am eternally grateful.

Melanie was by far our best investment of the entire wedding! At first I didn't know if I needed someone to help with the wedding planning. Looking back, I don't know how I could have survived without her. It was such a huge help to have her recommendations for vendors and they were all fabulous. My wife and I hired Melanie as both the organizer and officiant of our wedding. I will admit at first I was a little trepidatious at the need for an organizer of our wedding. In all seriousness, it was the best thing we spent money on.

I was unfortunately abroad during the wedding planning, leaving most of the wedding to my wife. Thankfully Melanie kept us on point during the entire process, all within budget. She told us when things would need to be completed by and never let anything slip through the cracks. One of the best parts from the planning perspective was that she was always an email or phone call away. Our wedding planning quickly turned into, let's just ask Melanie to make sure, and having her experience was invaluable.

One of the main reasons we used Melanie was because we didn’t want to worry about the day of wedding set up. Our wedding day I literally sat by the pool at the hotel, completely stress free as she ran the show. When I finally was getting ready for the wedding and my tuxedo shirt holes were too small for the studs the first person I asked for was Melanie. She quickly tracked down scissors and literally cut the holes in my shirt just a smidge larger so they would fit!

As an officiant Melanie was truly above and beyond. She worked with my wife and I in creating a service that fit who we were completely. She was extremely flexible and really focused on making it about my wife and I. You know the officiant was outstanding when other people in the industry, like our photographer, can’t stop complimenting how well she did.

When friends ask us for advice in planning their own wedding the first thing I say is to hire Melanie. She truly made our wedding the amazing day it was and I could never thank her enough. To really have the perfect wedding you need a professional who has seen it all, can handle any situation and cares about who you are. Melanie truly embodies all of these and is the reason why our wedding was such a success.

Blissful Beginnings planned our perfect summer wedding. Melanie was a dream to work with! You can feel how experienced she is when you first meet her and how eager she is to plan the perfect wedding for you. She always responded to our messages within 24 hours (if not immediately), and was always willing to meet up with us given short notice. I have zero experience with weddings since I am the first in my family and out of my friends to get married. Melanie came with me to vendor meetings and helped me figure out what I wanted my wedding to look like and how we were going to do it. When we were planning my wedding I almost had no free time. I was nearing the end of my doctorate program, interviewing for jobs, and studying for my board exams. I don't think I could've survived without Melanie! When our wedding day arrived, I didn't have to worry about anything because Melanie had everything covered. I just woke up, ate breakfast and got married. I am so happy we found Melanie to help us with my daughter's wedding. She was 100% on top of everything during the planning stages and always very responsive to questions or concerns. Melanie was already booked for our wedding date by the time I reached out to her, but she remained in constant communication with me throughout the whole process, attending all meetings and providing valuable insight when needed. Jenny did an outstanding job in her absence on the day of, between officiating and managing the vendors. We had a ridiculous situation with our caterer that day, and Jenny handled it without me or my husband being any the wiser. When I look back on my wedding day, I'm so glad that Blissful Beginnings was a part of it!

Melanie is extraordinary and I would recommend her to any friends and family. I wasn't ever the type to grow up dreaming of my perfect wedding. When we started planning, I really had no idea what I was doing. Thanks to Melanie, we were able to construct the most perfect weekend (welcome dinner for all guests, wedding, then brunch).

What I benefited from the most was:
1. Her recommendations with vendors. She has worked with most if not all. I was 100% satisfied (understatement of the year) with every vendor we found thanks to Melanie
2. Her responsiveness. Melanie is ORGANIZED and FAST. I always received extraordinarily prompt responses via call, text, and e-mail
3. Her knowledge. She has seen and done it all. When we had ideas, she was always honest with how it would actually look. We were not "yessed" to death. Endless wedding etiquette. My family is complicated and she was able to help me navigate some familial madness!
4. Proactiveness. She gets things DONE.

She is the whole package. Not to mention, she makes everything FUN! Can't recommend her enough!

Words almost can't even describe how phenomenal Melanie is to work with. She is on top of every detail, incredibly well-connected and respected with every single vendor in the New England area and literally made the wedding planning process a stress-free experience for both me and my mother who are very rarely stress-free people. From our first meeting in October (for an August wedding), Melanie had this great energy about her - excited, high-spirited and just fun to be around. As the days came closer and closer down to the wedding day itself, Melanie would respond to every email/text to let us know that she had our questions covered - even if it was a weekend - she was just on top of it in a way that really calmed any nerves I had going into the day. She quickly bonded with my bridal party - making herself a resource to them as well, which was amazing. She also worked really closely with my in-laws to plan our Friday night welcome reception, which was absolute perfection. Melanie is one-of-a-kind in her profession from what I can tell and I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone, even if they aren't getting married in New England...she'd figure out how to nail it!!!!!

Melanie was the best referral I could have ever received. She worked on our daughter's wedding which was a destination wedding for us as well as the rehearsal dinner. From our first meeting to the wedding day, Melanie was always there for us. I was able to completely enjoy and relax at my daughter's wedding which was exactly what I wanted to do. She provided us with lots of great vendor referrals and many ways to optimize our budget. Each vendor was TERRIFIC and her relationships with them were so helpful in ensuring a great event. She spent many hours working with my daughter, her husband , my husband and me in answering our questions and ensuring we would have a spectacular event. Comments from our guests were--Magical, WOW, best wedding ever been to, everything was perfect, your planner was there offering us an umbrella at the rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been nicer, etc. etc. I can't say enough good things about Melanie. My only regret after the wedding was that I wouldn't be able to be in constant contact with Melanie any more. I truly value the relationship that we developed during the last year and am planning to stay in touch with her. I would highly recommend her for any event you are planning.

In a word, "wow" Melanie was absolutely amazing. As the mother of the bride, I did my due diligence in finding a wedding planner. I had heard great things about Melanie but she exceeded my expectations. My daughter and I loved working with Melanie. She was knowledgable, sensible, creative and fun. Melanie provided us with great suggestions for vendors, great ideas and constant support and guidance. I have so many friends who describe the whole wedding planning process as stressful and difficult. We had a great time planning the wedding. The wedding day itself went off without a single glitch. Melanie is amazing!! I worked with her over 2 years to plan my 200+ outdoor wedding. She was so professional and helpful through the process. She eased my mind with my many questions and always had great suggestions for our special day. She helped me with menus, rental orders, timelines, contacting other vendors, etc. The day of the wedding everything went so smooth and it was because of Melanie. There were several vendors to coordinate and everything went off without a hitch! My husband, families and I are SO happy with how everything turned out and it was truly because of Melanie's hard work and attention to detail. If you need a wedding planner, look no further. If you don't think you need a wedding planner, you should still hire Melanie because truly everyone needs one. Melanie was very flexible with my work schedule, made meetings and phone calls convenient. She made my special day flawless without me even knowing it. It wasn't until later after the fact, that I heard how much she had done through family members about potential issues that could have occurred. My wedding venue had a wedding coordinator but left shortly after dinner. It was extremely helpful to have melanie all night. She helped create my wedding ceremony which was beautiful and memorable. Everyone was happy and crying at the same time and are still talking about it months later. My vendors even comment how easy and smooth things ran thanks to Melanie who made it a group effort. Melanie also has flexible options for just day of wedding package or if you want help planning before the wedding. I highly recommend her!

When you're planning something as important as a wedding, you want a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, good relationships with vendors, and knowledge of how things should be done. You also want someone who listens well and is open to shaping the event to reflect the tastes and personalities of the families involved. Melanie embodies all of that beautifully.
We worked with Melanie for a year, and it's obvious she loves her work. She maintained her professionalism at ALL times, took care of tasks with unending energy (think "Energizer Bunny"), and was just plain fun to be with in the process. Now that my daughter's wedding is over, we will miss our time with Melanie!

I am so glad we found Melanie at Blissful Beginnings to help plan our wedding and be our officiant. Her up-beat and charismatic personality combined with her ability to make wedding planning seem like a breeze made our day perfect. Melanie was absolutely amazing!! Our day and all the planning leading up to the wedding was absolutely stress-free. She handled everything perfectly. My daughter's wedding was an outdoor, at-home wedding and we had many more details and vendors than if we had used a venue (including tent, tables/chairs, caterer, toilets), and Melanie coordinated them all perfectly. The wedding was superb and it would have been impossible for me to have done all the work without her! I highly recommend her!

When my husband and I decided to change our venue from a local restaurant to an at home wedding I knew we'd need help...and lot's of it!! . When Melanie came to my home for the first of many meetings she could instantly see the potential of the property for a wedding venue. She helped guide my husband and I through all of the logistics and potential pitfalls (where to locate the porta potty!!) Melanie is professional, always optimistic, has an valuable list of resources and is full of wonderful ideas. She is attentive, thoughtful and works with great purpose! As an officiant she is also amazing...listening to my thoughts...understanding what's needed and what's important. My wedding day was as perfect a day as one could be, and i'm eternally grateful for all of planning that Melanie provided to make it flawless!!

There are no adequate words to describe how incredibly wonderful, professional and amazing Melanie is at what she does, but I can simply say that she helped us to create the wedding day of our dreams. She coordinated with all of the vendors from the very start and provided us with excellent references on who to use that would fit within our budget. She came to meetings with us while we met with our caterer and florist, among others, and went above and beyond to correspond with us regularly more than a year in advance giving tips and advice on what needed to be completed within certain time frames. She was always available when needed and went out of her way to meet up with us to discuss details and planning. There was so much that she did that wasn't even evident until the day of, when I saw the signs to used throughout the garden, the hanging lights she climbed up on a huge ladder to hang in the carriage house, and little details that truly made the event unique to who we were. I received so many compliments that the event was one of the most unique, relaxed and elegant weddings my guests have ever attended and I did not want the day to end. Melanie handled all of the set up hours/days before and break down at the end of the evening, and was there every minute in between to handle it all. If you are looking for an event planner that you can trust to help you put together a beautiful event that is tailored to your wishes, and be a complete pleasure to work with throughout the process, Blissful Beginnings is the company to choose. My only unfulfilled wish would be to do it all over again!

Melanie was absolutely amazing to work with. She made us feel comfortable right away and although we only met her a few times before our wedding we felt as though she was family! She has such an amazing personality and is extremely professional. She worked with us on our ceremony until it was more perfect than we could have imagined. She incorporated all our special and intimate details as though she had known us for years. Melanie was flexible with meetings, as we were long distance clients, and we appreciated her taking time to met us when it was convenient for us. She also arrived early to the ceremony to make sure guests knew where to go and what to do, which was awesome and allowed us to relax and enjoy our day. Blissful Beginnings made absolutely everything about my wedding planning experience fabulous. I wanted something different and didn't know where to start and what to do. Melanie met with my fiance and I to get to know us and our vision. Immediately she went to work with ideas and thoughts and found our unique venue. We wanted a personalized and meaningful ceremony so we also hired her to marry us.

Throughout the planning process, Melanie was there for me for everything. When I thought I had a wedding emergency in finding a specific vendor, she quickly had a solution. When I thought it was impossible to create our floor plan, she came up with a solution. When I thought I just had enough of planning, she inspired me with excitement and kept me focused.

Our wedding came together beautifully because of Melanie's expertise! I just wish it was longer! The ceremony was perfect, well delivered, well received, and meaningful just like we wanted. The reception was a dream! Everything went as planned and flowed perfectly. Our guests are still talking about the personal touches that made it unique to us. It was our exact vision made possible only by the expert.

I highly recommend Melanie and her team and everything she has to offer. She is passionate about events and weddings and it shows 110%. She thinks of everything and anything and is well prepared for it. She is trustworthy, reliable, professional, thoughtful, and her outgoing and pleasant personality is contagious. I asked Melanie Voros to help plan and manage my wedding after attending a wedding that she planned and officiated (wonderfully!). From the start - Melanie worked tirelessly with me to find and vet vendors (my fiance and I loved each and every vendor that she recommended!), helped me to define and execute my wedding vision, and to ensure that all personal and vendor items were in place for the big day. Melanie had a hand in nearly every wedding-day decision and detail - from the timing, to the decorations, to the beautiful programs and place cards that she made herself, to the set-up and tear down.

Melanie was wonderful to work with. She was extremely efficient during our wedding planning and on our wedding day! She took the worry off my shoulders and ensured that all went well. As most people say, the bride just won't think about planning or timing on her wedding day SO that's why you need Melanie! She kept out wedding events flowing and it definitely did not go unnoticed. Our guests were accommodated and I know each vendor appreciated her presence on our day. I recommend Melanie to any one looking for help planning for and executing their dream wedding!

Melanie was spot on from the very beginning stages of planning until the end of of our special day. Melanie really took the time to get to know us as people. Her knowledge was invaluable. I'm a grad student and simply did not have time to do the research I would have liked to do on my own. Melanie's expertise made us feel confident every step of the way. Her ceremony was so special and perfect, we're going to find a way to save it in some format with our wedding pictures. I can't say enough nice things about her. Plus, she happens to be a spectacular person to boot!

Melanie was absolutely fantastic... We were on the fence about hiring a planner but she sold us from day 1 when we spoke to her! She's incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about what she does and really goes above and beyond... She met us several times in Boston, drove up to Maine last minute and was available any And every time we needed her--- she even provided some much needed counseling and was an ear to vent to when the inevitable stress comes up throughout the planning process! Melanie was worth every penny and our day was absolutely perfect, much applause to her careful thought and energy towards all the small beautiful details that really tie everything together! She was very kind and helped us through every step as we knew nothing about wedding planning going into it... I would highly recommend Melanie to anyone who asked as she's the best at what she does and you will not regret it :)

We were lost without Melanie! She took several hours of brainstorming and helped us create the perfect ceremony to tell our story. We felt comfortable to select the words and poems that were meaningful to us. Melanie knows how to bring out what is important to your day. She will guide you through the traditional or untraditional options. Her warmth and experience calmly took us through our vows. Our guests told us it was the most enjoyable wedding ceremony they have ever attended. They could relate it to our personalities. We all laughed and cried and felt the wave of emotions as we stood by the ocean! None of us will forget it.

I cannot thank Melanie enough for all the work she did to make our day unique, fluid and personalized. Not one thing was out of place. She moved the guests with grace, designed/orchestrated/styled our wedding and even kept my mother on track! I felt like she gave us the care and attention needed for a 200 person wedding, while we had only 40 guests. She listened to everything I said and we feel like our day was the most amazing and effortless event we have experienced. Melanie was able to book the perfect venue and suggested the best vendors. If you use Melanie, you will be more than happy with the outcome!

Melanie and her amazing team at Blissful Beginnings are all stellar. My fiancé and I booked a venue without completely thinking through the logistics of an island wedding. She literally coached us through the entire process and I am not exaggerating by saying we had our dream wedding. She literally took my pinterest boards and made everything materialize on an island in Maine with no bridge. There is not a problem she can’t solve and my entire family loved working with her, she is a gem.

Side note, all the vendors at our wedding said we had the “A Team” and it is because of Melanie.

I want to highly recommend Melanie Voros of Blissful Beginnings to New Hampshire and New England brides. I hired Melanie as the coordinator for our wedding this past June and I can’t say enough great things about her. If you are planning a wedding, you already know how expensive everything is! While I got about what I paid for from most of my wedding vendors, I’ll say that Melanie was one of the few who is worth more than she charges. The quality of her work and the peace of mind she delivers are really worth it!

When I interviewed Melanie, she said something that sticks out in my mind as the reason I hired her, something along the lines of, “If the ceremony is scheduled for 4 o’clock, I’ll have you walking down the aisle at 4:05.” This really sold me because my husband and I were determined to have our wedding run as smoothly and seamlessly as possible.

Now that I know Melanie I can say she is high-energy, cheerful but not fake, punctual, detail-oriented, thorough and professional. She has an up-to-date rolodex and was able to provide recommendations for many other vendors that we hired along the way. I was planning a wedding in NH, where I grew up, from New York, where I live now, and Melanie always made herself available to meet with me when I was in town for a planning weekend. Finally, Melanie offers many add-on services and these options were tremendously helpful in the week or two leading up to the wedding. My mother-in-law hired her to create the schedule, do some light event design, and stage manage the rehearsal dinner for about 70 out of town guests. We also hired her to shop for, assemble, and deliver welcome bags when it seemed like everyone in our family had run out of time down the home stretch.

Throughout the process, it took a big weight off our shoulders to have Melanie there to help us. All of Melanie’s hard work plus a little bit of good luck (like a perfect, sunny day) contributed to a wedding weekend that went wonderfully!

If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, RUN, DON'T WALK, to the phone and hire Melanie, owner of Blissful Beginnings. Melanie is not only the best wedding planner/coordinator you could hire, she is the best consultant or contractor of ANY type that you could hire. And she is a caring, good hearted person on top of that. She knows wedding planning and coordinating inside and out, including the best vendors to use at your wedding. She recommended a terrific band, florist, photographer, transportation for our guests, and lighting. She ordered and addressed our invitations; purchased and packed beautiful hotel guest bags; and ordered and assembled delectable party favor confections.

Melanie answers every e-mail and telephone call very promptly, often instantly. She has endless patience in answering any and all questions, no matter how detailed. She is very considerate about driving to a client's home for meetings. She is brilliant at scheduling every minute of a 6-hour wedding so that all of the many moving parts flow smoothly. My daughter's wedding was wonderful, and Melanie deserves most of the credit. Your family should enjoy the guests, food, and music without having to manage the practical details. Melanie will have your back. Hiring her was the single best decision we made in preparing for my daughter's wedding. All the good things that followed flowed from that decision.

Melanie was fabulous to work with! I am a stickler for interviewing at least 3 people before I hire someone and Melanie was the only person during the wedding process that I instantly knew was the right person to work with. She is so clearly passionate about weddings, although we only used her as a Justice of the Peace she was still willing to talk to me about my wedding planning and provide thoughts and ideas when we first sat down.

She is able to provide a ceremony for any faith and any couple and was willing to be very creative with us! We really felt like it was a personal ceremony and spoke to us. It honestly couldn't have gone better! I would highly recommend Melanie to any of my friends and family!!

The Gourmet in a Pinch Catering Team would like to thank Melanie for doing a great job coordinating the Powder Ridge Wedding Celebration at the beautiful Ski Esta in Newry, Maine near Sunday River Ski Resort. She coordinated every aspect of the bride's itinerary and didn't mind helping out with the many different logistical aspects of the weekend long celebration. The Fresh Hand Made Pumpkin Ravioli's with a Creamy Sage Butter Sauce was a huge hit as a result of her laser focus.

Melanie of Blissful Beginnings was a pleasure to work with, and very accommodating. She performed our intimate, private ceremony at Fuller Gardens in North Hampton, NH with poise and grace. She seemed genuinely happy for us.

One sign of her professionalism, and overall kind nature was that even though we had only hired her to perform the ceremony --- and weren't hiring her to plan our entire wedding -- she was still very attentive to our needs. She took the time to meet with us in person, she provided sample vows for us to work from since we were writing our own, and she even exchanged emails with us the day before the wedding -- letting us make some last minute edits to the original ceremony text that she had drafted for us. This kind of responsiveness was especially impressive given that we were married during the summer -- during peak wedding season.

Another nice touch that Melanie brings to any ceremony -- is that she steps to the side during the first kiss, which allows photographers to focus on the couple and capture a great shot.

Again, we couldn't be more pleased with our choice of officiant. And we were very appreciative that after the wedding she emailed us a final draft of the ceremony text for us to keep. Thanks for helping to make our wedding ceremony such a special memory Melanie!

On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give Melanie a 10!! She did such a fantastic job as officiant for our wedding!! She was so easy to work with and so helpful throughout the entire process. She had lots of creative ideas for personalizing our ceremony. We had a small wedding (guest list consisting of about 25 people), and Melanie came up with creative ways to involve our guests so that they were really part of our ceremony, which made our day that much more special. I'd HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant or wedding planner!!!!

Melanie is the ONLY wedding/event designer to use if you live in the NH/ME/MA area. As we learned very quickly, planning a wedding in this part of the country can be quite tricky. Lucky for us, we found Blissful Beginnings!
Melanie handled every every aspect of the planning process with precision and grace. She went above and beyond our expectations - not a single detail was left un-checked, and the end result was a flawlessly executed wedding weekend in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport that our families and friends are still talking about. Melanie provided us with a perfect ceremony. After our initial meeting with her I knew she would be perfect as our officiant. This was the first civil ceremony for our families. Melanie took aspects of a traditional, Catholic ceremony and created a very personal day for my husband and I. My mother received a letter from my great-aunt that said it was the most personal and meaningful ceremony she had attended. I would recommend Melanie without reservation to any bride or groom.

Melanie truly went above and beyond for us. We initially decided to work with her because she had experience at our site, the Seacoast Science Center, and we could tell it was one of her favorite places to work. Only later did we discover how truly talented Melanie is. She put us in touch with some "hidden jewel" vendors, including our florist and guitarist. She wrote and delivered a unique and heartfelt ceremony for us. And she magically pulled off an outdoor wedding when the rain didn't let up until a few minutes past when the ceremony was supposed to start. Meanwhile, she engineered a re-arranging of the entire inside of the tent during the storm to prevent damage from flooding. As the bride, I had no idea all the drama that had gone on until days later. She also went out in the middle of the ceremony to get more tonic water. And did I mention she decorated the entire tent? We love Melanie!

Melanie was wonderful! She put together our ceremony and did everything exactly how we wanted it to be done. The ceremony was unique and beautiful and Melanie was such a nice person to have around on the day of the wedding. Even though it wasn't her job to make sure things were going smoothly she was right there making sure that nobody in the wedding party needed anything. Every little detail was handled beautifully on our wedding day. We still hear compliments from our guests, three months later! Can't thank Melanie enough for handling the little "mishaps" along the way and taking them off our plate :)
