What a fabulous bridal experience!

Blissets was our first stop for wedding dress shopping-A friend recommended them. For my other daughter we did David's. They hurried us through the process. At Blissets, we stopped in without an appointment and Michelle (extremely knowledgeable) helped us through the process of finding the most complimentary and affordable dress. She was amazing. We went to three other local shops and no one compared to Michelle. My daughter narrowed it down to 3 beautiful dresses at Blissets-we did not find any others more beautiful at any other store plus, the attention to us wasn't even close! That wouldn't have happened without the expert guidance we received at Blissets! Thank you!

Amazing Experience!

Blissetts is amazing!! Local and family owned, everyone is so down to earth and accommodating! I got all my prom dresses at Blissetts so it was the first place I went to look for my wedding dress! They were so sweet and of course I found the perfect wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. Shop small business and go to blissetts! They know what they are doing and make you feel comfortable doing so!

My dream dress

If you are looking for a family owned shop that will give you a one on one experience this is your place. They have designer gowns for great prices. I found my dream dress that reminded me of a dress I saw in Italy.

A few of my friends recommended Blissett’s for my wedding dress, so I figured I’d take the drive out to Medina and check it out. It was totally worth it! I worked with Sarah, who guided me through the entire process, and kept giving me different styles to try out. I ended up deciding on the very first dress I saw when we walked in. After I ordered my dress, the team at the shop was patient with me every time I called them for a shipping update (which was two times, once about three months after I placed my order, to get the estimated delivery date, and the second I called around the estimated delivery date). They were great to work with through the entire process and I would highly recommend them!

Blissett's was the only dress shop in Western and Central NY that had the Morilee dress I was looking for. I loved that they had such a large selection to look through in case the dress I wanted did not work out. Jackie was honest and so helpful when I was initially trying on dresses. Her and Sarah took every step necessary to make sure that the perfect length and size of my dress was ordered. They were both so welcoming every time we had to stop in. Patty worked so hard to make sure my dress had the perfect bustle and worked with our schedule to have it ready in time. The joy on my face while being in my wedding dress says it all and I am so happy that Blissett's could play a key role in that.

We ordered the bride's dress from this shop and were not disappointed. Pat, who does alterations, did an excellent job at an affordable price. She was the reason we ordered from Blissette's and we loved her alterations and bustling. Excellent job, Pat!

The service and selection at Blissets compares to no other. We came here for my sisters bridal party and it is where I got my dress and my bridal party 3 years later. I got more compliments on my dress and I couldn't have been happier with it. Everyone was so helpful and kind and were so easy to work with! I will definitely be back!

I purchased my wedding dress at Blissett's and also had alterations done right there by Patty. Everyone who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had plenty of dresses to try on and it was a fun setting for my mom and sister to come, too. My mom also purchased her mother of the bride dress there and had alterations done. The alterations were very reasonable and done quickly. We were very happy with our experience!

Amy and Jaye were phenomenal! I was a little nervous driving from Rochester to Medina through small towns but inside this shop is wonderful. The wedding shop is in the basement which has tons of selections. The women there let you try on however many dresses you want, however many times you want, for however long you want... they help you and make you feel like you're their only customer. They'll take pictures for you... and just overall wonderful experience. They ordered my dress true to my size (some places order you the size up so they get more alterations). They do alterations right in the shop for a reasonable price and are incredibly accommodating. I ordered all my bridesmaids dresses here and both mother of the bride and groom dresses through here. They were just wonderful!

Jay at Blissett's is fantastic. She is the sweetest woman who is willing to go above and beyond to make her customers happy. They have a huge selection of weddding gowns in the store and many more available to order. I ordered a custom designer gown that was beautiful. All of my bridesmaids dresses came from Blissett's as well as the flower girl's dresses, and one of the mother's dresses. We were so pleased with the excellent service we recieved I would recommend Blissett's in a heart beat!

I got my wedding dress at this shop and have had nothing but great experiences with them! The only downside was it is an hour drive, but it was worth it. Everyone that works there is extremely kind and they do not pressure you to buy a dress, they give you space while still helping you find the perfect dress.

This shop was everything that places like David's Bridal was not...like personable, kind, staff isn't sales driven, etc. It's a small shop and it's just lovely. They know you by name, they really take care of you. They don't rip the tags out of dresses - like other places do...and they don't stop you from taking pictures - like other places do. I got both my dress and the bridesmaids dresses there. They even were able to order dresses for out-of-town bridesmaids just by using their measurements - and the dresses actually fit instead of being 3 sizes too big so you had to pay them extra to fix them. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly, I highly recommend them! My dress was about $600 and each girl's was about $150

I purchased my wedding dress from Blisset's for September 18, 2015. After searching the entire Buffalo area, as well as Rochester, I finally found my dress at Blisset's. Do no be turned off by the storefront. I walked in and immediately felt hesitant, but once you go downstairs to the bridal gallery, you'll feel more comfortable! The price of my gown was incredibly reasonable and fit into our budget perfectly. The train of my dress was difficult to bustle, but the seamstress is a pro! She did a great job and is very flexible with appointments. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

I purchased my wedding dress from Blissetts and had a great experience. I was surprised to learn how large their selection is. The dresses are at a good price point and provided me with a LOT of dresses to try on. The dress I selected was unlike anything I had seen in other stores (even in NYC). The ladies at Blissetts were not pushy at all in terms of purchasing the gown immediately. The price was also unbeatable, and they gave me an extra 10% off. The only issue I had was when I went to the salon for a fitting, one of the consultants was adamant that my father could not come down to the fitting area to see me in my dress. Jay and the other consultants apologized for her actions but it still put a tiny sour taste in my mouth. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experiencing.

Ok Place, not the most friendly staff and average dresses. Consultant i worked with was kind of blahh and seemed to rush me through the whole process. The dresses were she showed me were ok but nothing really stood out. Ended up going to another shop to purchase dress.

High priced store with limited sizes and very unflattering dresses. It definetly seems like you dont get what you pay for here, as i have been around to alot of bridal shops and the prices here are really high for what you get. I have seen alot better quality dresses for lower prices at other stores around western new york.

Customer Service was ok but nothing spectacular at all, as they seemed to want to move you in and out of dresses quickly and dont take the quality time with you that they should. It seemed like you were just another number walking in the door. They seemed more about making a sale and moving onto the next bride than taking the time to help me look for a dress. Not the kind of service i expected from a shop where i am going to look for the dress of my dreams.

I went to alot of shops and eventually found Bridals By D in Williamsville Ny. They had the best selection of very high quality dresses for very decent prices and outstanding customer service. Please ask for Elaine or Denise, the owner if you go there, they were OUTSTANDING!!!They were far and away the best experience when picking out my dress.

I also liked my experience at MA Carr shop in Orchard Park ,Ny but they didnt have the best selection and their prices seemed a little high for what i was getting from what i have seen at a few other shops.

I have never written a review but I was so disgusted with my experience at Blissetts that I felt I needed to share. My family and I traveled 2.5 hours to visit this shop. We called Blissets a week or so prior to our visit to discuss what type of dress we were looking for (they claimed they would pull some for us ahead of time) and what day/time we would come in. When we called the day of our appointment to discuss our appointment further (my whole family and I were already long on our way), they disrespectfully exclaimed they don't take appointments and they claimed they had no information down for us. When we finally arrived, they refused to even acknowledge us for 10+ minutes as we patiently waited near their desk. When they finally acknowledged us, they were very short with us. They told us that they had not selected any dresses for us but they would look in their storage room. They left us for about 20 minutes to look for dresses (that were supposed to already be set aside). My family got so bored that my bridesmaids started trying on bridesmaid dresses. During this time, we saw a covered up sticky note on their desk that had our name and time of appointment written on it.....very sketchy. Unfortunately I found a dress I loved here that I was not able to find at any other bridal shops.....however I noticed sereveral missing beads and pulls in the bodice of the dress, the manager refused to budge on the price or even fix the defects on the dress. She told me that I could pay for these issues in alterations. The owner was so short and seemed to not even want our business when we ended up buying a $1000+ dress.

Overall I was disgusted by the way Blissetts treated my family and I on a day that should have been so special. This shop is obviously sketchy about the way they do business. My advice: do not go to Blissetts if you want a special dress shopping experience or simply want to be treated with respect.
