I had a great experience working with Bliss for our proposal. They were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, easy to communicate with, and made sure all of the details came together exactly as planned.
Everything looked beautiful, and having someone handle the setup and details allowed me to focus on enjoying the moment instead of stressing about everything behind the scenes. The Bliss Weddings team made all of my wedding dreams come true. I have nothing but love and gratitude for Cota, Will, and the entire Bliss Weddings team.
From the very beginning, Cota was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. I could tell right away that she was organized and very well connected with vendors in the area. We loved that she personally knew many of the vendors we ended up choosing. She was always thoughtful in how she communicated with my husband and me, and we were excited to work with her from the moment we met. She kept us organized throughout the entire process, which I deeply appreciated because I am a very type-A, organized person myself. Planning a destination wedding could have easily become overwhelming, but Cota made it feel manageable every step of the way. Our wedding took almost two years to plan, and she helped make the entire process feel seamless.
On the wedding day, Cota was the last person I was with before I walked down the aisle, and I truly wouldn’t have had it any other way. Her presence was calming, supportive, and grounding. It was clear how much she genuinely cared about making the day perfect for us, and that meant so much.
When we began working with Will, he was immediately very hands-on. We had several Zoom calls in the beginning, and as the planning progressed we communicated frequently with him on WhatsApp. He was always patient, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Will also took on the huge task of helping our friends and family coordinate their stays in Santa Teresa, including booking puddle jumper flights and arranging taxis. For a group of 65 guests, that is no small task. He also helped organize an incredible boat day excursion for guests who arrived early and led the coordination of our welcome party at Brukas.
By the time I finally met Will in person, the first thing I did was give him a hug. Our friends and family were genuinely excited to meet him because he had already been so kind and helpful to everyone throughout the planning process. That level of care did not go unnoticed.
On the wedding day, Will and Cota made us feel completely at ease. Everything was handled, and there was nothing to worry about. I tend to be an anxious person, so the fact that I felt so peaceful and present the entire day is a true testament to how incredible they both are. Our guests are still raving about the entire experience: the setting, the design, the food, the dancing, even the late-night pizza. We have heard from so many friends and family members that it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended.
Most importantly, it was the perfect day for my husband and me. Now that everything is over, I’m grateful to say that Cota and Will feel more like friends than our wedding planners. We truly can’t wait to return to Santa Teresa and visit them again. They really do feel like family to us. -

We recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Bliss Weddings for our daughter Riley's wedding, and it was truly magical from start to finish. They didn't just plan an event—they created the dream wedding for our daughter Riley, exceeding every expectation we had and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Cota is an absolute visionary. Her passion for weddings shines through in every decision, and her calm, reassuring presence made the entire process stress-free. She truly listened to Riley and Sean, understanding their vision and bringing it to life with creativity and care. We can't thank her enough for her leadership and genuine warmth.
Our travel advisor, Will, was incredible as well. He handled all the destination logistics flawlessly, coordinating travel for out-of-town guests and ensuring every detail was perfect. His attention to the little things—like seamless transportation and thoughtful guest accommodations—made everyone feel so taken care of.
The venue they selected was nothing short of perfect: a stunning, picturesque location that felt like it was made just for Riley's day. The natural beauty, combined with their expert setup, created an atmosphere that was both elegant and intimate.
The attention to detail was extraordinary. Every element was thoughtfully curated, from the lighting to the seating arrangements—nothing was overlooked. The beautiful floral arrangements were breathtaking, with lush, romantic designs that perfectly complemented the venue and added that wow factor everyone raved about.
And the food? Simply outstanding. The excellent food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—guests are still talking about how delicious every course was, from the appetizers to the dessert display. It elevated the entire celebration.
Bliss Weddings turned what could have been a stressful experience into pure joy. If you're looking for a team that pours heart and soul into making your day unforgettable, look no further. We are beyond grateful and would recommend them to anyone a thousand times over! -

This review is long overdue, but after finally having a free weekend, I wanted to make sure I took the time to write it properly—because Bliss Weddings truly deserves it.
We contacted Bliss Weddings in late November 2024 to plan our September 2025 destination wedding, which was extra special since we were getting married on our birthdays. We had 17 guests, and our wedding and stay took place in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, at Hotel Kioro Arenal.
From the very beginning, our experience was exceptional. Our primary communication was through email and Google Meets, which worked perfectly with our busy schedules. Bliss Weddings did an amazing job of keeping us on track with needed information and decisions—always professional and organized, but never pushy or stressful.
Constanza (“Cota”) was our first point of contact and immediately impressed us with how responsive, warm, and informative she was. She clearly explained the services Bliss Weddings provides and answered our questions right away. Anytime we reached out—sometimes even within minutes—we received thoughtful, helpful responses. Both Cota and Will were incredibly attentive throughout the entire process.
Cota and Will truly handled almost everything. This included not only the full coordination of our wedding day, but also organizing group activities and a group dinner the night before the wedding, which made the entire experience feel seamless and special for our guests.
Will was especially exceptional when it came to helping guests with excursions and travel arrangements, making sure everyone felt supported and taken care of while in Costa Rica.
Bliss Weddings provided outstanding options for the venue, hotel, photographer, hair and makeup, acoustic ceremony music, and DJ. After we described the basics of what we wanted and answered a few questions, they presented us with plenty of excellent choices. Once we selected our preferences, they handled everything else. They were truly our eyes and ears on the ground in Costa Rica, managing all the details so we didn’t have to.
Honestly, the process felt almost unreal—in the best way. We essentially provided payment, made our selections, and then just showed up to enjoy our wedding. Everything was handled flawlessly.
We would highly recommend Bliss Weddings to anyone planning a wedding in Costa Rica—especially if you want a stress-free, worry-free, exceptionally well-organized wedding experience. They exceeded our expectations in every possible way, and we are so grateful to have worked with them. -

In addition to his help with the transportation on our wedding / welcome party, and our day after pool party, we leveraged him to help make travel details easier for our guests. He went above and beyond to ensure their trips went as smoothly as our wedding did.
If you’re considering a wedding in Costa Rica, hiring Cota will be one of the best decisions you make. We are endlessly grateful to her for helping us create a day we’ll cherish forever. -

We cannot begin to rave enough about how wonderful Constanza and Will at Bliss Weddings have been to us throughout our wedding planning journey. From the very first conversation, their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail immediately put us at ease. They were in constant communication with us, always available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and provide reassurance.
Even though our plans ultimately changed due to personal and logistical reasons, Constanza and Will were nothing short of gracious, patient, and accommodating every step of the way. Their smiling faces during our virtual meetings made the planning process feel exciting and stress-free, even from thousands of miles away.
We originally found Bliss after speaking with a number of planners, but what stood out most was how easy and comfortable the conversations felt with them. They truly made us feel taken care of, no matter what curveballs might come up.

I came across Bliss Weddings on Wedding Wire and I’m so glad I found them. Cota and Will were amazing to work with and handled every detail perfectly every step of the way. They had the best vendor recommendations for venue, food/bar, music, photographer, flowers, rentals etc. There was a last minute change to the hair and makeup stylist which Cota handled perfectly, already finding replacements before I knew it, who both did an excellent job. They were very flexible to any changes we needed to make and made the whole process look easy (although I’m sure it’s not!). We had no stress about the planning or execution of the wedding. Cota and Will are true professionals and definitely worth the investment. I couldn’t have never planned something like this on my own. The support they provided allowed us to have the most beautiful stress-free wedding I could have ever imagined. -

Cota and her team (especially Will Dove) provided us with the most amazing wedding experience! Planning a wedding from a different country was daunting, but Cota came recommended and it was the best decision we made for our wedding. She is so extremely organized and easy to work with. She helped us create a vision board and then she worked directly with vendors to make that dream a reality! Cota being the middle-woman with all the vendors took so much off of my plate when it came to planning. Once we booked with Cota, we were contacted by Will. Will helped us with everything trip related - our house, chartered flights in Costa Rica, our transportation/side-by-sides when we got to Santa Teresa, excursions, location for our rehearsal dinner, etc. They helped and handled everything.

I can’t speak highly enough of Cota. We had a long engagement, which means a lot of time to make plans then change them up a couple of times. Our experience working with Cota and the Bliss team was truly the best experience. Getting married thousands of miles away from home in country where you don't speak the language seems like it would be very difficult, but working with Bliss, everything was easy.
Cota had great recommendations for vendors and thinks of absolutely everything ahead of time. Managing all of the rentals and vendors was super easy through her company as she did a lot of the communication and booking herself. I can't imagine trying to manage that through a hotel or doing it on your own. We didn't have to worry about the little things at all.
Cota takes the time to get to know you and what you want for your wedding day, creates a vision for the event, and then executes flawlessly.
She really knows Costa Rica, the different venues and vendors, and she'll make sure you have the best day of your lives.
Bliss also has an additional service that helps with transportation and logistics. We highly recommend this additional service and work with Will Dove - worth every penny!!! Will helped us organize the transportation to and from airports for our guests, a boat day to Tortuga island, shuttles to and from our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day transportation logistics. Everything was flawlessly executed; he was extremely communicative and available 24/7! .
We can't thank the entire Bliss team enough for all of the effort they put into making our entire week so special. What an amazing company filled with amazing people.
We don't have one negative remark on our entire experience - you should DEFINITELY plan your wedding in Santa Teresa, and with the help of Cota and the entire Bliss team, you won't be disappointed with your decision. It was an absolute dream of an experience, and we are truly so appreciate for how hard the team worked to make our wedding so special. -

Cota's communication was incredible! She is very detail oriented and answered every single question through our year long planning process. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful with all the unknowns, but Cota was so knowledgeable and took all the stress off our plate! On the day of the wedding Cota and her team went above and beyond. From helping us last minute hem one of the grooms mens pants, to saving us an appetizer tray to make sure we got to try all the food, and running the show of set up - they did it all! Working with Cota and her team at Bliss Weddings for my wedding was an absolute dream. Planning a destination wedding is no simple feat and before I found Cota I was overwhelmed with how to even begin. However, as soon as we had our initial interview I knew I was in good hands. I simply had to share my vision with her and she handled everything else (outside of the wedding venue which I'd found prior to meeting Cota). Cota was ABSOLUTELY fantastic! Highly recommend using Bliss Weddings if you're looking for a wedding planner! She made my experience so wonderful and was all about making my perfect day exactly how I wanted it. I was never pushed to add unwanted services and she helped me stay within my budget. My husband and I had a very small intimate ceremony that Cota found for us and it was PERFECT for us. We had originally wanted to do the ceremony at the Montezuma Falls, however, the hike was insane! Cota even hiked it with us and she was a trooper. She found this backup spot and I'm so glad she did. She was there with me every step of the way on my wedding day and even held my dress as we walked to the ceremony. I cannot thank her enough for all she did for us! Originally when planning our destination wedding in Costa Rica we were painstakingly contacting vendors remotely from the US thinking we could handle the planning ourselves. We were so wrong! We were recommended Bliss Weddings by Megan McCullor our photographer that we found on Instagram. We are SO lucky that we did. Cota and her amazing team made our planning a breeze and executed our big day to perfection. We already had an idea for a venue and she went and scouted it out for us, she made professional recommendations on everything from timing to layout, she suggested multiple trusted vendors and kept track of our costs. We would schedule regular Zoom calls to go over decisions and she set milestone check-ins so we knew exactly what needed to be done and by when.
Cota was an excellent communicator and really easy to work with. She took onboard our vision and transformed it into a reality.
If you are thinking about planning a destination wedding in Costa Rica without Bliss then STOP and contact Cota for a consultation. It was the best decision that we made, she actually made the planning process enjoyable and allowed us to relax on the day resting assured everything was taken care of! -

Choosing Bliss Weddings was the BEST decision my husband and I made when it came to wedding planning. Cota and Marianne truly provided white glove service from the very first introduction email until the wedding was over (and even days after). They are SO talented, professional, organized and poised, all while being kind and and ensuring you feel comfortable and stress free. Throughout the entire process the two of them felt like trusted friends - which is exactly what you would hope for in a wedding planner.
Any question, concern, or advice I needed, Cota and Marianne responded back to me with answers and solutions within the day. They were always available for me, and willing to jump on the phone or zoom to discuss anything I needed. They calmed my nerves and eased my anxiety, which says a lot considering we were planning a destination wedding, peak pandemic.
All of our guests were blown away by the service Bliss provided - along with all of the vendors that came highly recommended by them. 10/10 service across the board. 4 months later and our families and friends are still raving about how perfect the day was.
To say our wedding day was magic is an extreme understatement, and that is all due to Bliss Weddings. Our wedding day couldn't have happened a quarter of as beautifully as it did without them, and I am forever indebted to them for that. -

Cota and the Bliss Weddings team made our destination wedding day the greatest day ever and we could not have done it without them! We spent two years working with them (including a one year Covid delay) and they were with us every step of the way. Leading up to the wedding, they connected us to all the best vendors, made sure we made decisions on time and within our budget, and carefully planned our entire wedding weekend. The day of is when they made our vision a reality - their impeccable design and attention to detail turned our rental villa into a magnificent wedding venue. Our expectations were exceeded! Bliss Weddings was hands down the BEST destination wedding planner we could have asked for in Costa Rica!!! They brought everything to life in exactly the way we had imagined it, and then some. They quite literally saved our wedding by handling everything from end to end with local vendors after having to reschedule our wedding 3 times due to COVID (the first date was supposed to be on March 21, 2020 - so we were their first wedding cancellation at the beginning of the pandemic). By the actual celebration date, in December of 2021, the Bliss team felt like family. From the absolutely STUNNING + MAGICAL decor and beautiful lighting, to the itinerary during the day, to coaching us through the wedding day so that we could actually breathe and enjoy ourselves, hiring Bliss was the best money we spent out of our wedding budget. We wish we could relive the perfect day over and over again. Thank you Bliss Weddings for all that you have done for us!

The absolutely best Wedding Planners!
Marianne & Cota were an obvious choice for us from the very first meeting we had. They are extremely professional, well organized, have a huge know-how about the industry, venues, vendors and pricing and they are also super fun to work with. They helped us (well they did pretty much everything!) with our Welcome Dinner, Ceremony & Reception, and all these events exceeded our dreams. They literally thought of everything and took care of every detail. We could not have done it without them. The vendors they recommended were just spectacular, and everyone has given their hearts and souls to make our day magical. I could not recommend BlissWeddings more, they will make your dream a reality and exceed all your expectations. -

Our destination wedding was a perfect day in paradise because of Marianne. We would meet on zoom a few times a month and Marianne was always ready to answer any questions we had and give us details on what comes next. Her website was wonderful. We could upload pictures, store timelines and share with our wedding party. The recommendations she gave us for photography, videography, officiant, hair and makeup, setting and flowers were all wonderful and professional and made our day come together fabulously.

I should start out by saying that admittedly, I’m not the easiest person to work with. I definitely knew what I wanted, but my personality is type A and I tried to micro manage every detail, which is virtually impossible when planning a destination wedding. I’ve been coming to Santa Teresa for the last 6 years, so I was confident that certain aspects of our wedding would meet my expectations, but you never really know how it will turn out until you see everything come together the night of.
I can honestly say that Marianne planned a PERFECT wedding. I walked into the venue and it brought me to tears of joy. We spent over a year planning the wedding together and despite all the hard work that went into it, she took my vision to a whole new level. The venue décor was breathtaking, a perfect blend of lights, candles and greenery. The food was equivalent to that of a high end restaurant, only with better ingredients. The drinks were fresh and some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life. The desserts were all homemade and delicious. The music was so good that all of our guests ended up dancing in the pool. All of this was orchestrated by Marianne who is unequivocally the most professional and organized person I’ve ever worked with. She also happens to be super cool with great taste, which highly contributed to the overall vibe.
Our wedding was on March 5th, 2020, right before Covid-19 hit and was likely one of the last times our family and friends will get to celebrate together for a while. We had the best night of our lives and we can’t begin to imagine not having had the opportunity to make these memories, which will forever be with us.

Every once in a while you come across someone in your life who you will hold dear forever no matter how much time and space separate you. That's how we feel about Marianne and her team at Bliss Weddings. The thought, kindness, attention, and care that she brought to our wedding was exceptional. It can be an intimidating experience to plan an event for over 100 people from afar - not knowing if what you've articulated will meet the image in your head. But Marianne took the time to ensure that what we were imagining was in fact what she was planning. She sent detailed images, information, asked the right questions, and reflected our ideas back to us to ensure she was on the same wavelength as us. Additionally, all of the vendors that Marianne recommended were of the highest quality - we truly loved every one! Everything I needed and more!!
I remember enjoying every moment of the wedding day and being able to be focused on having an amazing day; and it was all perfect! Let me start off by saying hiring Bliss Weddings was the best thing I ever did! Planning a destination wedding from Virginia and never having been to Costa Rica I don't think this would have been possible at least without completely loosing my mind in the process. From the moment I reached out to her she was super responsive and felt like an instant friend. I had done a lot of research and spoken with other wedding coordinators and none of them made me feel like my wedding was my own. Marianne listened carefully, had amazing input on my ideas, and she kept me up to date on all the details, along with amazing suggestions for vendors. She is a gem to work with! Throughout the entire process all our friends and family kept asking me how I was so calm including the day of and I truly felt I had nothing to worry about, I trusted Marianne and her team would make my vision come to life and and she did exactly that and more! Marianne and her team were great! Marianne was very responsive and helpful in creating my dream wedding leading up to the big day. I am not a planner nor did I really have any solid ideas but she helped me and keep things simple for me. She also tried to help me cut costs as much as possible but also educated me on what the costs and items would provide for the big day. Planning a destination wedding is very challenging and because of that I appreciated Marianne's knowledge, she helped us not just with specific wedding stuff but with finding hotels, chefs, activities and places to go for our wedding guest. Marianne was super helpful and responsive via phone and email. Making sure all the vendors had what they needed, answering questions, making time lines and giving great ideas for all the details. Tawny Sent on 10/10/2018When I reached out to Marianne at Bliss Weddings, I was able to send along my wedding vision and inspiration. I had NO clue what rentals, vendors, food, etc. cost. My husband and I KNEW we wanted to have our wedding in Santa Teresa but given the wedding size, didn’t really know it was even possible! Marianne helped us narrow down the wedding venue given our budget and wedding vision. She also provided a list of local vendors, their site information and possible pricing we could review and choose our favorites for the special day. During the planning process, Marianne was readily available and very responsive if ever we had questions. She was also SO ORGANIZED, providing updated budget and day of planning sheets any time we made important changes. Marianne has a beautiful, creative vision and executed the wedding day PERFECTLY! Marianne met with us the day before the big day and we went over all decor, timeline, locations, etc. Throughout the wedding morning & early afternoon, I could see Marianne and the Bliss Wedding team set up the ceremony & reception. Needless to say, I was worry free and relaxed, enjoyed brunch with my friends after an amazing yoga session! When I was about thirty minutes out from walking down the aisle, I realized that one of the anklets I was planning on wearing in the sand was broken; these anklets were my main option and were used as “heels”! Marianne quickly used the wire from our Champagne bottle cap and jimmy rigged the anklet together! From start to finish, Marianne was simply BEST. My wedding visions were brought to life thanks to her flawless execution. She truly understood my wishes and wedding style. The decor design was absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The chalkboard designs were unreal, PERFECT! Our indicator signs went perfectly with the colors and wedding vibe, custom made by Marianne! Literally, I couldn’t have imagined my day more PERFECT. I highly recommend Bliss for any Costa Rica based wedding and/or event!
