Definitely recommend!

Brian was truly incredible! He brought so much energy and personality to the entire night, and he genuinely made our celebration unforgettable. From start to finish, he kept the vibe fun, engaging, and completely stress-free for us. The dance floor was packed the whole time, and our guests are still talking about how amazing he was. I would recommend Brian to anyone planning a wedding and wanting a DJ who knows how to keep the party going and the dance floor popping. He exceeded every expectation!

Awesome Wedding DJ!

Brian was super enthusiastic and helpful for the entirety of our time working with him! He expertly incorporated music we wanted to hear and traditional Bosnian music I asked him to play for my family members. He kept things high-energy and stuck to the schedule on our wedding day, which took a huge load off of my husband and I and allowed us to truly enjoy ourselves! The Barnards

Brian aka Gemini with Five Carat Entertainment was the absolute best. Brian provides a pre-wedding meeting to go over ceremony and reception. DJ Brian is the best

DJ Brian is the best of the best. We were not sure that we even wanted a DJ for our wedding but he was easily one of the best decisions we made.

His mixes were awesome and got EVERYONE involved in the danced and caught their attention during important parts of the day.

He went above and beyond for us and we wouldn’t recommend anyone else for your special day! He made our planning so much easier, and relieved the stress that came along with the planning. DJ Brian is the best!

Wedding In Glasgow!

Brian is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I highly recommend him if you want a DJ for any occasion! He is friendly and very easy to talk to and can reach him at any time! His choice of music is spectacular.I was very nervous at first About the wedding as a whole and he comforted me and made sure everything was going to be OK and it would be ran smoothly, and boy was he right! It went very He is very affordable, especially with the prices of other DJs nowadays! If you use him for your wedding or any other occasion, you will never regret it! He is very, very detailed About how every second is used, And very thorough! His set up was nothing but the top-of-the-line! His energy was good for the crowd and kept everybody on their feet dancing. His vibe was amazing! I am already recommending him to my other friends for their wedding already!! Best dj ever! Hire him immediately!

My husband and I hired Brian to be our Dj for our wedding this past Saturday at Lost River Cave on 10/12/24. He did not disappoint and completely delivered!
We are a couple that was out of state so I was not familiar with any of the vendors in Kentucky. Not only did Brian provide amazing entertainment for the night but he also made sure the wedding went smoothly. He gave perfect suggestions about other vendors and they were spot on! I had the wedding dream team! On top of being an awesome Dj, he put some amazing personal touches on my wedding!
I am Serbian and my husband is not. He was able to seamlessly merge my Serbian music with my Husband's American music. He also attentively listened to what we wanted even if it was out of the box and made it work for our wedding. In addition, he announced my family's grand entrance in my cultures traditional way. If you need a dj HIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY!

Our wedding at Lost River Cave on August 25th 2024

We hired Brian for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! Even after the wedding we have had so many people tell us that we picked the perfect DJ, and that he really knew what he was doing. Amazing all around

Brian worked wonders! He was amazing to work with and was very professional. Best DJ Ever!

Brian exceeded all of our expectations! We got married in May and DJ Brian played such a big part into making our day what it was. He was extremely organized and from start to our final meeting helped make the day go seamless. He brought so much fun the night of the wedding and had the crowd involved the whole night. He also had an amazing set up nothing like we had ever seen before at a wedding. Everything went perfect and seamless and a big part of that reason was because of Five Carat Productions. Great DJ for our wedding!

Brian with Five-Carat Entertainment was the perfect DJ for our wedding! From the beginning, we felt that Brian valued our opinions and tailored the music to what we wanted for our wedding. We were looking for a DJ that could take our suggested song list and add to it appropriately, mix transitions in between songs, and read the crowd to know when to change a song or switch the pace. Brian delivered on all these skills! Our dance floor was lively all night and I very much attribute this to Brian's DJing. He was also detail oriented and made sure we had the correct versions of songs, timing, and appropriate music placement throughout the entire ceremony and reception. We also bought his lighting package which contributed even more to the fun atmosphere. Throughout the entire process Brain was personable, easy to communicate with, and he prioritized our wants as the the bride and groom. I would absolutely recommend booking Brian with Five-Carat Entertainment for any wedding or event you have!

Highly Recommend

We used 5K entertainment for our wedding and they did an absolutely phenomenal job! Brian made sure every detail of our day was perfect when it came to music. He walked through every moment of our day with us to plan it, kept a timeline, and announced each transition to guests. He was always readily available to us throughout the planning process anytime we had questions, and his music kept everyone dancing all night long! I cannot recommend 5K entertainment enough for your event.

My wife and I feel compelled to leave a raving review (yes, pun intended) for Brian and Five Carat Entertainment for their exceptional help in throwing the perfect rave at our wedding reception. We were planning a wedding from out of state and in a city that neither of us held any allegiance to or knew very much about, but Brian took the initiative to ensure we were well-informed during the entertainment planning process, maintaining consistent communication throughout. Without his assistance, our reception would have been a disorganized mess. Brian perfectly tailored the music to our tastes, curating several mixes for different parts of the night, including a fantastic electronic music finale that turned the evening into a memorable rave-style experience.

Throughout the entire wedding, Brian demonstrated his expertise and professionalism in keeping everything on track. His skillful transitions between music styles created an electric atmosphere, keeping the dance floor packed and the energy high. He effortlessly read the crowd, adjusting the playlist to match the mood and ensuring everyone, from the youngest to the oldest guests, had a blast.

Brian's dedication and passion for his craft were evident in every aspect of his service. Absolute Professional!

Brian was extremely helpful and fun to have as our MC for our wedding. He takes great pride in his work and will put the time in to work with a couple so that they have a very clear picture of how their day is going to go. Day of, Brian is very present and goes above and beyond making the day run smoothly as planned. Made my wedding a PARTY!

Brian was awesome. When I got engaged in 2017, I immediately called up a friend whose wedding Brian had done and asked for the DJ information. We had attended 8 weddings that year and theirs stood out as the best because of the DJ making it so fun. I booked Brian before I even booked my venue! At our wedding, Brian definitely delivered and it was such a fun time. He helped me so much along the way to plan the flow of things to be how I wanted. He had great ideas and options for me so that my wedding would be what I wanted it to be and it went absolutely perfect. He is a great person, a wonderful DJ/planner, and a helpful business person. Brian went above and beyond to make our wedding reception absolutely first-class. Amazing!

Brian was seriously the best DJ ever. He is thorough, he truly cares about making your wedding the best possible experience you can have, and he make sure the day goes as smoothly as possible. I would say Brian is a DJ and a wedding planner all in one. Down to the detail, he has his job down to a science. Things I would never even think about, Brian came up with. He went out of his way to make equipment and a video for us just because he wanted to. I would recommend Brian over and over again. If you are reading this review and considering Brian as a dj, no offense, but you would be an idiot not to choose him. I am a very indecisive person and Brian walked us through every detail. I couldn’t even come up with 25 songs for the reception and fully put my trust in him with the only advice being to make everyone dance, and man did he accomplish that! Brian, from the bottom of our hearts thank you for putting so much time and effort into this day, and assisting in making our wedding the best day of our lives. Got married on the 1st of September. Let me start by saying this: you get what you pay for. I'm thrilled that me and my wife chose Brian at Bliss Productions. Very Very professional. On time with every, and I mean EVERY detail. Years of experience is reflected with the quality of his work. Everyone danced old and young to his set of music. Everyone was entertained with the energy and substance Brian provided for our wedding. Brian also faced some interesting moments of conflict with other people we had hired to help with our wedding and yet he was able to work with those people constructively and rise above and still produce A-1 quality. Brian goes above and beyond to make sure that your wedding flows perfectly! He bases his timeline, wedding games, and music on your crowd and on your preferences, and makes it the perfect party for everyone. He's super flexible, approachable, and sensible about what the bride/groom want as well as what the crowd wants. We are still receiving compliments for our wedding from the guests, who all had a blast! He constantly keeps track of any changes day-of while keeping everything at the ceremony and reception seamless. I can't recommend Brian enough - the DJ really makes the party! He is hands down the best DJ I've ever seen, and we were so happy to have him at our wedding!

Brian is an amazing DJ to work with. From the moment we began working together, he was available at all hours. His email responses were quick and once we got on the phone (I don't live where we had our wedding), we understood exactly what was needed from each!
He's so detailed in his set, so if organization is your thing, he's perfect!
Every single bit of the evening was planned out except for a surprise round of fireworks; he was very accommodating and gave us the perfect set for a magical moment.
He even pulled together a last minute request for a lapel mic that wasn't planned for, but he made it happen!

I had the priviledge of a "try before you buy" situation by attending a friend's wedding that Brian DJed in Aubrey, TX. When we got engaged a few months later, the first thing I told my fiance was "I want the DJ from the Akin wedding!" We had had so much fun at that wedding and it hadn't been awkward to get up and dance which was what I wanted at my wedding: I wanted people to have fun and to feel comfortable to dance. We didn't even have a date or a venue yet but I tracked down Brian with Bliss Productions and he talked to me on the phone about what he could offer and was willing to travel down to College Station for our wedding. We set the date and venue a week later and got to work. Brian really helps you along the way with planning as you need it. When I went up to DFW for my bridal shower, he set aside time to meet with me to go over the entire wedding start to finish covering not only the music but also the flow of the evening and order of events so that things would run smoothly. We spent about 4.5 hours at a starbucks doing this! Since he was travelling down, he even came down Friday afternoon and came to our rehearsal dinner so he could know who the parents were and meet my day of coordinator. He stayed up late that night to coordinat with my day of coordinator so that everything would run smoothly and that they could work together. The wedding was perfect!!! I received many many compliments about our DJ and how comfortably he got everyone dancing with the couples dance, group selfies, and in general great selection of music. Brian had explained to me beforehand how he builds the energy throughout cocktail hour and dinner so that it truly is a PARTY to CELEBRATE your marriage! Brian also has some awesome ideas to make your reception FUN! We got to know each other quite a bit over our 9 month engagement and he is a kind, thoughtful person who made sure that everything was as I wanted it. I couldn't be happier with his services.

Go no further if you want the best experience with your wedding DJ. Brian was so much fun to work with! He works closely with his clients to make sure the music selection is perfect for your wedding night! Brian continued to go above and beyond throughout the whole process while not only being our Wedding DJ, but also coordinated the ceremony/reception to make sure everything went smoothly throughout the night.

Brian was able to read the crowd and keep them entertained throughout the whole evening. Brian's personality is very contagious and brings a level of energy to the whole event.

Even weeks after our wedding, we have gotten multiple compliments on Brian. He made the ceremony and reception go so smoothly and made them so much fun for us and our guests. We cannot recommend him enough!

Brian was beyond amazing! From our very first meeting with him and all the way up until our wedding day, he stayed in touch with us, was flexible on meeting times, places and my indecisiveness and he always had good ideas and suggestions. He worked with me to create a detailed timeline and created a slideshow for us as well. He pulled out all of the bells and whistles for the day of, up-lighting, TV screens for our monogram and our personalized monogram he created. He is definitely worth hiring and will go above and beyond for his clients! Everyone at the wedding complimented how great he was! On top of all of his professional qualities Brian is also a super positive and fun guy to be around, my husband and I feel we made a friend!

I used Brian last year for my wedding. I should have written review sooner. He saved the day! My coordinator was horrible (for example she threatened to fire me the week before my wedding) but he stepped up and made the day great. Everything flowed smoothly and he was excellent to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Brian was awesome! He was the DJ for my daughter's wedding reception. He worked closely with them on their song selection. He was so helpful in moving the reception along at a nice pace. Helped release the guests for the buffet line to keep the line moving and save on time wauting in line. The Newlywed game was so fun! All around great experience and highly recommended!

Brian Ruth with Bliss Productions did an incredible job from our first consultation to the very end of our wedding! Throughout the process he went above and beyond and was extremely professional, making the music and timeline planning aspects easier for us. Not only was he a great DJ, but also a great MC! He did a wonderful job making sure we were happy with all of the details. Brian patiently spent 2 hours on the phone with us the week of our wedding going over every detail to ensure he made the most of our day. My family has a Czech heritage so we requested that a few Czech songs be played throughout the night. Brian seamlessly transitioned into those songs to where it sounded perfect (if you know Czech songs then you may realize that can be difficult to do). Brian continued to go above and beyond throughout the whole process - For example, before the wedding we had difficulty obtaining the Czech grand march song (not all Czech songs are found easily online, mostly on CD's), but moments before the ceremony started he collaborated with my cousin and quickly uploaded it to his computer for us. It meant a lot to my family and I that we were able to perform our Czech traditions! You can tell Brian is passionate about what he does by the way he speaks about his work and though his planning to make your wedding day perfect. We also had Brian use his lighting at our wedding and he meticulously matched the colors of his lighting to the colors in our wedding. As an MC my guests and I felt as though he was very classy and entertaining, he planned out different games for my husband and I but also games to get our guests involved! He even took a huge selfie of us and all of our guests on the dance floor to make the night even more memorable! We have nothing but great things to say about Brian and all he did, he helped make our wedding atmosphere perfect with music and energy.By the end of the night our guests were even asking him if he was available for their upcoming events!

You give him the songs and he finds them, simple as that. Brian is thorough with his craft and his goal is to give you exactly what you want. He's personable, knowledgeable and was patient with me. Brian was an amazing DJ and MC for our wedding and reception. He knows what he's doing and made the event a great experience. His years of experience and many weddings are evident; he is prepared, professional, and exceptional at making the event fun and memorable for everyone. He spent hours with us on the phone prior to the wedding day to plan everything out just how we wanted it. He took our input and tailored the event to be just how we wanted it for our special day. He also had many great suggestions for fun games and other ways to keep the guests engaged and having fun. He pays attention to every detail so that you can relax and know he's got it taken care of; he is professional, keeps things on schedule, and keeps everyone informed and engaged by announcing things clearly. Overall, he made the wedding and reception go so smoothly and made them so much fun for us and our guests. I can't recommend him enough.

Brian was so amazing I don't even know where to start! From the beginning he was beyond helpful and always available to answer any questions I had including recommending the perfect songs for certain parts of the night when I had no idea what to choose! I was so worried about my reception being a fun party, which was really important to us, because I had such an age range of guests.. but Brian nailed it! Weeks later I still have guests calling us saying how much fun they had at our wedding and how great my dj was! He also M.C's the entire evening so everything ran so smoothly! We couldn't have done it without him and would hire him again ten times over!!

People always said to us that a DJ makes or breaks a wedding. Brian MADE our wedding! Brian is simply put AMAZING! He was recommended to me by my now-husband's cousin's photographer, and I am SO glad I was able to book him for our wedding day. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and professional, but also SO MUCH FUN! Everyone at my wedding raved about how great he was and how organized and friendly he was as well. He provided our up-lighting and music with an awesome and affordable package, the reception area looked beautiful with all the up-lighting, which I was skeptic about at first. OHH MY GOODNESS! HE'S AMAZING!
My husband and I met with him at Starbucks MONTHS before the wedding, and we knew we wanted him! He was professional, friendly, down-to-earth and passionate about what he does. Not only that, but from that first meeting - he remembered us and everything we talked about and said we wanted! He seriously set the tone for the entire night. Not only did he take the time to chat with me on the phone before the wedding once - but twice! He made certain that every detail was covered :) We went through how the entire ceremony and reception would flow, and he constantly asked my opinion and what I truly wanted. He let me take charge, but then whenever I needed help or an opinion - he was right there! He actually is the one that chose the song that I walked down the aisle to. It was the most perfect song, and ceremony ever!

Before the day of my wedding, I was NOT stressed at all. I was comfortable and excited because I knew he would take control. After the wedding, pictures took a little longer than normal but he kept the crowd occupied and happy. No one even knew! He was AWESOME to work with. I would (and will!) recommend him to anyone and everyone I meet. He made Chris and I feel so excited and calm about the entire process. In fact, I let him just take complete control over the songs to play before the ceremony and after because I had enough faith that he knew what he was doing.

If you are looking for a DJ for anything - Brian Ruth is your guy!!! He's been doing this long enough and is a TRUE DJ that he knows what he is doing. Chris and I are soo grateful for him, and blessed to have met him throughout this entire process. Not only did we luck out with a DJ, but we consider him a friend now! Brian was awesome to work with and a ton of fun. He let us make decisions on what was important to us but we felt comfortable letting him take control of the night. Brian was awesome! He was great and very thorough at explaining everything and taking you through the whole process from step one - he used examples and his own experiences from previous weddings to help you make decisions and figure out exactly how you wanted everything to go to ensure that it all ran smoothly and no details were left out! He was also incredibly flexible and made sure he was on the same page with you every step of the way -- in our case, we ended up actually cutting a few things out of the initial plan and changing stuff up during the reception and no one even noticed that wasn't aware of the initial plans! We also did a tribute to my dad (who passed away in 2008) and needed help making it happen flawlessly and Brian had a big part in that --it was a secret thing that only us, Brian and our Maid of Honor/Best Man knew about and he made sure to keep it on the dl and helped us with piecing together what served as the father-daughter dance song and getting it to transition into our first dance. All in all, we highly recommend him - super fun, professional and ready to go!

Brian was such a great DJ. We suggest some artists to him the night before the wedding to play and somehow he downloaded it within the night and played it at the wedding! He did a great job and was very prompt with his to mining on everything to keep the night alive and fun!

Ok so Brian was our DJ for our wedding and oh my goodness. We were the couple who originally looked at using an iPod for a DJ. Looking back on it now I am so glad I didnt. Brian got in touch with us a while before the wedding and we spoke on the phone for hours going over every detail. He has the whole DJ thing perfected. I never knew how important even background music was until we met with him. The whole night of the wedding was upbeat and lively. Never a dull moment and my entrance to the song he recommended was jaw dropping. The best part of using Brian though was the newlywed game. He had the whole crowd involved and we did it near the end of dinner so people had entertainment and didn't have to make small chat with random strangers at their table. He won't tell you the questions ahead of time so you are up there in complete curiosity as to what is coming next and that is what makes it the most fun. People came up to us after talking about how they have never seen it and wished everyone did that because it lets them get to know us better as a couple and it was so worth the laughs. One of the other cool things he did was ask for our colors so ge could wear a tie that matched. You can't get more personal than that. I loved him so much and he was such a blessing. If you have the chance I would go directly to him and book now.

Brian was the DJ for a wedding at our venue (Rockin' R Ranch) last weekend and he was amazing! He was professional, fun, personable, and kept everything on schedule. He always played the right music and the wasn't a time when the dance floor was empty. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is getting married.

Brian was an amazing DJ for our wedding in 2015. We loved him and his work. He was always nice and considered anything we had to say. He would meet with us and talk to us as often as possible. His work was amazing, and everyone had a great time. We played limbo, we had a hulahopp contest and it was just a great time. Now Brian has become a great friend. Brian Ruth was everything I wanted in a DJ. I had several guests come up to me during and after my reception raving about how much fun they were having because the DJ was so great. Also, the attendant who was running my photobooth let me know that Brian was the best DJ he has seen at a wedding. Seriously, the reception could not have been as much fun without him. All of my guests had a BLAST which is what we wanted most out of our reception. He was also very professional leading up to the wedding and was very proactive in preparing and making sure he knew how I wanted my music and reception. He really just made the whole process easy.

Seriously, this wedding was everything I imagined it would be and we could not have done it without him!

We hired Brian to DJ our wedding on May 19, 2016 at The Filter Building in Dallas. I cannot sing Brian's praises enough! From the months and weeks leading up to the wedding he was extremely responsive, available, helpful, and accommodating. He was incredibly organized and professional yet very personable. I have been to other weddings before and I after my experiences, I can truly say Brian is the best. He did such an amazing job directing the crowd and assisting with the flow of the ceremony and reception. The music he played during the entire event was exactly the kind of music I wanted and it 110% achieved the atmosphere I wanted. I was so pleased with his music choices for every part of the day and we had SO much fun during the reception! We literally danced the night away thanks to Brian! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Brian if you're looking for a professional and FUN DJ!!

I've been to numerous weddings, and it's true.. it all depends on the DJ, whether or not the wedding is going to be a hit or miss! Brian is a pure professional! The quality and skill level Brian shows is what separates him from everyone else. Just hearing his voice on the mic, you will be blown away.
My wife and I had the privilege to have Brian, DJ our wedding. You know you made the right choice when you still have friends talk about how awesome our DJ was! I promise, you will not be disappointed!!

He knows how to make the atmostphere with great music choice. Passionate and hardworking on his job. Also reasonable price for us. I and my wife loved to see people enjoying at our wedding day. He helped us to coordinate the order of reception schedule in couple of meetings. Really appreciate him for great memory :)
