Morgan Sent on 06/13/2021I thought I didn't care about flowers. I was so wrong.
I was NOT a bride that cared about flowers at all. I was determined to DIY the centerpieces using grocery store flowers and putting my bridesmaids to work. When the bridesmaids vetoed this suggestion (ha!), I sent out a few inquires to florists and got some truly wackadoodle responses. My (admittedly unrealistically low) budget was scoffed at, some even stopped talking to me all together as soon as we talked numbers, others sent pictures of their work that looked like something even I could put together, and this was STILL hundreds of dollars more than I wanted to spend. I found Bliss n Bloom through my photographer's list of recommended vendors, filled out her questionnaire and got a very quick response. She sent me a few pictures and my "I don't care about flowers" mantra instantly went out the window. They were the most stunning arrangements I'd ever seen. The ceremony arch was like something out of a dream. I did spend more than I originally planned (this is not a criticism of her, I just had no idea how much flowers cost!!) but it was so beyond worth it, her fees are very reasonable for what you get. I barely gave her any instructions because I know less than nothing about flowers, just told her what our colors were and a little about our vision and sent a few pictures, she did the rest. My father watched the team put up the ceremony arch at the venue and said they worked for hours on it. When I show people pictures of the wedding, the first thing they comment on are the flowers (one verbatim comment: "those flowers are INSANE," said in the best possible way). The only negative about this is people are complimenting the flowers before they compliment me, the BRIDE!! But I can get over that.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect florist for our wedding! We trusted Kwan completely and she was able to see our other design aspects and make the vision complete with her florals. Every arrangement was absolutely stunning — from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the ceremony décor, everything was fresh, beautifully designed, and perfectly coordinated. We especially loved our install above the dance floor and couldn't be more grateful!

Bliss In Bloom is Amazing!!!!
Kwan and her team are so amazing!! They went above and beyond to make our day so beautiful. I’ve gotten so many compliments on our floral and candle arrangements, and they did more than I could have ever asked for! November Wedding 2025 Florals
Kwan was absolutely incredible to work with. She brought mine and my mom’s wedding floral vision to life and then some! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and surprised us with a stunning floral piece on our wedding cross! We got so many compliments on how she transformed the reception ballroom and I cannot recommend working with bliss in bloom enough! -

I don’t have the words to express how amazing Kwan and her team are – they put together the most stunning flower designs for our wedding, far exceeding our expectations. During our wedding planning process, I had a very clear vision on how I wanted the flowers to look and feel – Kwan immediately understood my style and made me feel so confident during the process that things would turn out beautifully. She walked us through each type of flower she’d use, explaining how they’d be arranged, going above and beyond to paint a picture of what the day would look like. On our wedding day, the weather wasn’t cooperating, and her team didn’t miss a beat having to move locations. We can’t stop staring at the photos and can’t thank the Bliss in Bloom team enough! -

Where do I even begin to describe how incredible Kwan is at Bliss and Bloom Floral Design? From the very first meeting, she radiated such joyful, genuine energy that I instantly knew we were in the best hands. Kwan took the time to truly listen to every detail—what I loved, what I hoped for, and even what I wanted to avoid. Her attentiveness and care were unmatched.
There is absolutely no one else I would have trusted with our florals in Charleston or the surrounding areas—Kwan is simply the best! I’ll never forget when she said during our consultation, “Ooo, I already have a surprise for you…” and she certainly delivered. On our wedding day, she not only exceeded every expectation, but also added a few surprise floral touches that made everything feel even more special.
The entire process with Kwan was effortless. Our final floral meeting included a thorough walk-through of every flower she planned to use, and she always emphasized that everything could be customized to fit our vision. But honestly, her vision was perfection.
Our guests are still raving about the florals—they were the perfect blend of elegance, sophistication, and whimsical charm. We are beyond grateful for Kwan, and if we could do it all over again, we’d choose her every time. -

From the moment we opened the proposal, we knew Kwan was the perfect match for us. We literally only knew the desired color pallet and that we wanted hydrangeas. We gave Kwan full creative freedom and man did she and her team deliver. She was so easy to work with and very accommodating on tweaks and additions along the way. We are proud to have asked her for her first Beer Donkey Crown :). Communication was excellent! We had multiple team meetings to make sure everyone was aligned. Her love and passion for her art was always evident and we left each meeting more excited than the prior.
On the wedding day, Kwan informed us about an installation that was not part of our discussions or payment agreement. The installation was a special gift for us. She amazed us by motorizing the hanging floral arrangement above the dance floor. It slowly spun during the first dance. The guests were amazed, sparking a debate on whether it was planned or simply magical. Kwan confirmed that the rotating florals were our surprise about a week after the wedding. It was so next level and cannot wait to relive it in the wedding videos.
Kwan and team were so accommodating when I expressed to her that I wanted to take florals for preservation. She had them carefully packed up for transit and safe keeping. I wish we could have preserved all the flowers.
Ontop of all the things we love about Bliss in Bloom is the fact that Kwan donates the flowers to local nursing homes after the event. We requested the flowers to be donated to MUSC Children's hospital. We were just so thrilled the flowers would be enjoyed by others after the wedding.
There are not enough words of gratitude to express how delighted we were with Kwan, Bliss in Bloom. Our guests raved about the florals! Mission accomplished!

Kwan was an absolute dream to work with. She is sooo kind and so thoughtful. She met with us a month or so before the wedding and got to know us and what we were looking for in our wedding florals. She gave fantastic suggestions and put together gorgeous floral arrangements. She ran through so many different types of flowers until we found the ones we loved most. But she also came to the table with ideas, since we didn’t have a ton of inspiration pics for her. She can definitely either run with your loose ideas or follow a very specific Pinterest board, depending on what you want! Florals were a really important element for us, and Kwan outperformed our expectations. Our guests raved about the flowers! She was one of our favorite vendors we worked with. -

STUNNING FLORALS - could not have been happier!
Kwan and and her team are incredible. I cannot recommend Bliss in Bloom enough. My wedding was at Lowndes Grove in Charleston and I was blown away by the florals (and the rest of the venue!!). Kwan truly brought our vision to life.
The whole planning process was incredibly easy and fun. We met with Kwan several times to discuss our budget, vision, etc. and she had so many great ideas. Closer to the date, we met virtually to provide feedback on specific floral options. It felt like we were able to give input, but also have Kwan and her team use their creativity to make everything perfect. When I saw the florals on the day of the wedding, my jaw dropped. They were GORGEOUS. Our guests and random people that saw pictures have been raving about them. Several people have even asked me to send them pictures so they could ask their florist to put together similar arrangements.
Overall, I could not have been happier. Kwan went above and beyond. If you are getting married near Charleston, you must hire Kwan and her team!!! -

I cannot begin to express how wonderful it has been to work with Kwan and the whole Bliss in Bloom team! From our initial design consult, I knew that Kwan would bring our happy, colorful vision to life on wedding day, as she radiates joy herself and loves flowers so much!! She went above and beyond on wedding day - bringing in ranunculus from Italy and tulips from Holland and incorporating specific flowers for loved ones that have passed. The floral decor and my bouquet were stunning and we got so many compliments on wedding day that they were the most beautiful wedding flowers guests had ever seen! The intention, thoughtfulness, and love of the whole team is so evident. I hope to volunteer in the future with Kwan at other weddings, I just loved them so much! -

Kwan was such a pleasure to work with and she really guided me through the process. Flowers are not my strong suit, but she really tried to discover what I liked and came up with the most beautiful arrangements. I trusted her and let her have free reigns and she excelled! Everything just felt like it was perfect for the venue and style of the wedding. 6 months later and the flower arrangements are still one of my favorite parts of my wedding. If you're looking for a florist in CHS, definitely go with Bliss in Blooms! -

The Best Florist Team!!
If you are in the Carolinas, book Bliss in Bloom!!! Kwan and the team were so awesome to work with, and they really brought my vision, and more to life. During the call with Kwan, we went through my vision of warm oranges and reds for my November wedding, and she made me feel like everything was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about anything else, which is what all brides want! The florals the team brought were even better than I expected and more unique than everything I saw online, they were so perfect! I loved how Kwan uses the inspiration pictures you provide, but also made it more unique and special with what is available that season. I also want to note that Kwan gifted me a beautiful head table piece that was so special. Thank you so so much team Bliss in Bloom!!! The florals made my day even more unforgettable! -

From the first Zoom call that Kwan and I had, I knew how passionate she was at what she does, and making sure she understood my vision. Kwan is great at communicating, and was very understanding of all my many changes. She is very personable and made me feel so excited for my big day! I can truly call her more than just a vendor, but a friend.
Kwan and her team knocked my florals at my wedding out of the park! I received SO many compliments on my chandalier install and fireplace lush mantle, everything was just absolutely beautiful. Bliss in Bloom is fantastic to work with!! Kwan LOVES flowers. My mom and I met with her via zoom since we were planning from out of state and it was immediate that she loves what she does. Her work is incredible, beautiful and elegant. We got married at the Gadsden House and we loved the beautiful installations that she/her team installed on the stairwells, on the mantels, tables and our floral cross. Our bouquets were absolutely stunning. She took my vision for what I wanted and it made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She maximized our budget and helped us modify without compromising on our desired look. We absolutely loved working with her and would highly recommend her for your wedding too! -

I LOVED my flowers and the floral installations were magical! Kwan was able to see my vision and truly create my dream wedding flowers. I wanted every color of wildflowers and to feel like my tent was a secret garden and that is exactly what she created. I wanted a hanging floral installation with flowers suspended in the air. It was hard to find pictures to show exactly what I wanted but we talked and I showed her a few pictures that had bits and pieces of what I was thinking and she nailed it! Actually I think it was even better then what I imagined! One guest loved my flowers so much she actually painted a picture that night of them and my maid of honor is in the process of preserving them for me so I can cherish them forever. Words can’t express how grateful I am that I used Bliss in Bloom for my wedding flowers and the joy that Kwans creations gave me that day. #ForeverGrateful 🌸🌿✨💖✨🌿🌼 -
