Being an event planner myself, Type A, a perfectionist, I knew that I needed some help for month of coordination so that I could find the time to relax, enjoy the moments and enjoy getting married! I hired Bliss by Sam, and Sawyer was assigned to work with us. He blew me and my family away! His attention to detail, his humor, and the importance he set for the bride and groom to enjoy the day, but for our bridal party, family and friends to allow us to enjoy the day. I didn't have a worry in the world and valued his advise, opinions and shared plenty of laughs. He took over the vendor relationships, didn't allow any last minute frustrations get in the way and was a smiling face on the day of! He kept everyone on time and on track, we were even early, so it allowed us to enjoy more of those special moments.

I'm beyond thrilled with the service we received and would recommend Bliss by Sam to any and all future brides and their families! THANK YOU for making our day so special and so memorable.

The Bliss By Sam team did an excellent job planning my destination wedding at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef in St. Thomas USVI. Due to our hectic schedule, we chose to go with the full service package and this was the best decision we could have ever made. Bliss By Sam worked directly with the resort planning team to ensure that all of our request were met and questions answered, including staying within budget. Ken and I highly recommend that you have a destination planner stateside working in YOUR best interest. The resorts can be very difficult to work with when it comes to getting back with you in a timely manner, overcharging and not delivering what they promised/what you paid for. Bliss By Sam had all the basis covered!!

As far as ideas, details and the small touches...OMG, they were awesome!!! Our guest thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were excited about all of the little gifts they received throughout the wedding weekend. These are things we could have never thought of on our own (welcome bags, hangover kits, personalized pictures, and the list goes on and on). What a memorable experience!!

Our wedding was a complete success thanks to BIiss By Sam!!

Sam and her team were awesome to work with. I think of her as an Alpha planner...she takes charge and gets things done. For example, when we needed to get the reception room shots, there were several guests already sitting and some staff members wandering around. A quick mention to Sam, and within 20 seconds the room was clear for us to get our shots. We like that kind of attention, it just makes the day go quicker and more smoothly. If you're having a wedding, you need a planner. And therefore you need Sam.

To make sure both parties are good I would say make sure you have everything laid out to a point where it is easier to understand and comprehend. This will eliminate confusion and doubts about a few things for the wedding so that you and the planner are not running around scavenging for particular things.

My friends were calling me "the reluctant bride" due to the fact that I wasn't too jazzed about planning my wedding. That's when Sawyer and Bliss by Sam stepped into the picture. From my first meeting with Sawyer, I was so impressed with his organization, candor, and willingness to take on aspects of planning that were overwhelming me (creating agendas, contacting vendors, getting timelines out to wedding party). He had thought of every detail that needed to be considered, many of which would never have occurred to me. In addition, Bliss by Sam's online planning tool was excellent in keeping me on track with my to-do list and timeline. What really stood out was how things were executed the day of our wedding. Sawyer handled everything from keeping our photographers and wedding party on schedule, troubleshooting a snafu with the ceremony sound system, and even arranging a time for my groom and I to sneak out of dinner for a quick sunset photo shoot. I had zero worries the day of my wedding and my friends, family and I were able to fully enjoy the day. Thank you Sawyer and Bliss by Sam for making our wedding day such a stress-free and wonderful experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Trust me, brides - you want Bliss by Sam on your side for your big day!

As a photographer, keeping your wedding day on time and stress free is important. It keeps everyone happy and makes for fantastic photos of love and joy on such a special day. I've worked with quite a few planners and to have a team that knows exactly what is happening and will take care of everything for you is priceless. Bliss By Sam definitely does that. Just this last weekend I worked with another planner who had no idea what was going on and I was missing Sawyer and Sam! Thanks for doing such a great job guys! Sam and Sawyer's efficient and stylistic approach could not have made our wedding day more seamless and perfect!!!! Even though our evening timeline was delayed nearly 50 minutes (weather and missing valet), the dynamic duo found a way to streamline our list of speeches and dances without a hitch. Our decor was not only set up exactly as we had hoped but also with fashionable finishes that we didn't even think of. Most couples complain that they couldn't fully enjoy their wedding day. We can honestly say that we were able to celebrate every ounce of it without a stress because of Bliss By Sam. They even packed everything up and put it in our room! We loved coming back to a decorated suite. :)

Do yourself a favor and hire this awesome team!

If you are looking for a wedding planner that has meticulous attention to detail, take charge personality and wants your wedding day to be the best day of your life, look no further. We were hesitant to hire a wedding planner given we were over budget, but hiring Sawyer was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Unlike most brides who are stressed out coordinating or managing their big day, we and our families were able to enjoy every moment with Sawyer as our wedding day coordinator. He outlined the entire day and the execution was flawless. We'd highly recommend Sawyer to anyone looking for an affordable, professional wedding planner that will relieve a great deal of stress during the big day. Because of Sawyer we were able to take in our special day and enjoy our guests, a memory we will never forget.

I just have one word... WOW! As a makeup artist, I have worked with several wedding planners and not a single one has compared. Every detail down to the last flower petal was immaculately planned. The team gave 100% and it absolutely showed. If you want to have a zero-stress event, this is the team you want in your corner! I'm difficult to impress and I'm still raving. :-)

LaShayla was wonderful to work with. As a member of the bridal party, I appreciated the detailed itinerary that she sent before the weekend. During the weekend, LaShayla made sure everything ran smoothly and according to schedule—not an easy feat with a bridal party of more than 15 people! I thought they were a great team and Sam's lady assistant sewed me in my dress minutes before the wedding due to my zipper breaking. It was quick thinking and everything worked out well. Definitely an excellent team!

We worked with Samantha at Bliss by Sam as the stationer for one of her weddings in Chicago in October 2013. She is a really fun person to work with and she truly has planning down to an art. Working with Sam Dockery at BBS was great! Everything the day of was previously planned out and emailed to all of the vendors in an organized manner. As a member of the bridal party it is important for us to know where to be, when to be there, and overall keep the bride happy. The Bliss by Sam team did just that. They were very friendly and professional from start to finish.

Sam and her team are great. From the early planning stages right on through the end of the wedding Sam was on top of the timeline and flexible when needed. She kept us in the loop with changes and the wedding day flowed seamlessly because of her attention to detail. She also did it with a smile on her face and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. As a videographer, it is essential that we are aware of when things are happening and where so we can capture those special moments and Sam made it easy for us! I can't wait to work with her team again and would highly recommend her!!

Our Bliss By Sam Consultant, LaShayla was absolutely amazing. She made it possible for me (the Mother of the Bride) to enjoy the day with my only daughter. From the very beginning, when I was interviewing potential wedding coordinator candidates, Bliss by Sam stood out above the rest because of their level of professionalism. And this was upheld throughout the entire process of planning our destination wedding. Rachel Hamm was extremely knowledgeable, flexible, responsive, pleasant and personable. She made me feel at ease through every step and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. She and her team took care of everything and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves! Sarah and Rachel were so helpful at the rehersal and on the day of the wedding. I was able to really relax and enjoy my daughter's wedding as I knew they were there and had everything under control. It was such a great relief and was well worth the money spent. Sarah stepped right in and really understood our vision for the wedding. She was prompt to respond to questions and was flexible when it came to the timeline. Both of these young ladies are gems and I would strongly recommend them to any mother of the bride who truely wants to enjoy their daughter's wedding.

It was so helpful to have Bliss by Sam help plan my Duke Chapel wedding this past March. I was going through a particularly stressful year, and had no experience planning weddings. Bliss by Sam helped fill in the gaps and helped me locate vendors such as my florist, who was a big success. I had a "Partial Planning Package" and regret not hiring a wedding planner earlier in the process, before I had picked out so many of the vendors. Samantha and several Bliss by Sam representatives showed up to help with all the details the weekend of the wedding. When I started to get stressed out about a detail early in the day, Samantha took it over from me so I did not have to think about it again. And from then on, I did not have any worries on my wedding day. I highly recommend hiring a wedding planner for anyone planning a wedding, especially if you do not know much about weddings.

Samantha was awesome!! I cannot thank her and her team enough for making our wedding flawless. She was professional, friendly and got the job done! If I was planning the wedding all over again, I would not hesitate to call BBS. The day of the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing happening or making sure it was done correctly. Rachel with Bliss By Sam was an absolute pleasure to work with. She came to our (and particularly my) rescue one month into the wedding and made sure that everything was lined up and in place for our big day. Rachel was always an email away and offered much needed advice and responses to the many questions that I had regarding the wedding. She was also very innovative as she came up with a few unique ideas (i.e. bridal party processional) during the ceremony planning phase. My fiance' and I highly recommend Rachel and Bliss by Sam. Our friends and family were also very pleased with the job that Rachel did. We couldn't have done it without her and I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day without her and her assistants. They were amazing! I had a rowdy bunch to deal with and they were so professional and kept everything perfectly organized and on time. AMAZING! I could not have had such an amazing wedding without them.

Sam & Sarah and everyone we met associated with Bliss By Sam were wonderful! They always got back to us quickly and really took so much pressure off of us. Their input with our wedding ceremony was so helpful. The coordinating on the day of our wedding was priceless. There was not a thing I woudl have changed, and I didn't worry about a thing that day.

I think that my final moments with them tell you how I feel about working with Sam and Sarah. When they came up to say goodbye well in to our reception, long after all of the obligatory wedding-ness of the night I hugged them and had that "Oh man... you're leaving?" feeling like my friend were leaving before the party was over! It was truly a pleasure to work with them, from the moment we had our initial meeting through to the end.

Bliss By Sam in general, and Rachel Hamm in particular were wonderful! They did such a great job on our wedding ceremony coordinating. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day, because we knew that Bliss By Sam were there to help us with everything!

The Lavender package from Bliss By Sam is just perfect for the bride that has done all of the work in arranging her own wedding but needs assistance in the last moments to keep it all together. What bride wants to have to run around confirming that the florist arrived on time and that the wedding procession is lined up correctly? Also, it allows you and your wedding party to be able to enjoy each others' company in the days and minutes leading up to the ceremony, rather than employing your stressed our MOH or mother to be key coordinator.

Rachel from Bliss By Sam is very organized and professional. She did a great job in following up with all of my vendors and making sure everything went smoothly for the rehearsal and the ceremony up through the beginning of the reception. Bliss By Sam also had another person there, LaShayla, to assist. I was grateful for her help and she did a wonderful job too. (The Lavender package does not include reception coordination.)

The cost for this package is definitely worth it! For piece of mind, lowered stress levels, and ultimately a successful event -- worth every penny!

I can't say enough about Rachel at Bliss by Sam! She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I got the day of service which was a great value. Rachel definitely extended her services far beyond just the day of the wedding. She went above and beyond all of my expectations. She went to the planning meeting between me and my venue and she called all my vendors to confirm their services. This was a huge help because right before the wedding I felt overwhelmed with details. She took care of a large part of the details and reassured me that everything would be taken care of. She developed a very detailed time line which she handed out to all the vendors. This really helped everything to run smoothly. She was always available by phone or e-mail. During our wedding weekend, everyone in the wedding party remarked that Rachel was extremely organized and very nice to work with. Rachel had also worked with my venue, The Carolina Inn, my photographer, and some of my other vendors, which was a huge bonus. She already knew the venue inside and out and because of her great reputation in the community she was well acquainted with my vendors. She brought two assistants with her on the wedding day which was also a great bonus. I did tons of research and talked with several different wedding planners and Bliss by Sam was by far the most accommodating and the best value. On our wedding day, I didn't have to worry about a thing and Rachel was always there to answer any questions or do anything that was needed. Bottom line: You must have Rachel for your wedding day!!

Rachel was my ceremony coordinator. She was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my day went off without a hitch! I had a last minute dress disaster and she was able to scramble and get me everything I needed to fix my hem. I would definitely recommend her.

I couldn't have picked a better wedding planner for my wedding! She was highly recommended by our reception venue, and it was clear why. Sam was super helpful, friendly, professional, attentive, flexible, and more! I don't know what we would have done without her on our big day (and the whole "wedding weekend").

Sawyer was wonderful to work with. He is very organized and professional. I highly recommend him. The only reason i did not give all 5 stars is that the intern had some issues but Sam has told me that this has been handled.

Hiring day-of wedding help was a relief. It meant that the only thing my husband and I had to do the day of our wedding is wake up and take care of ourselves. Someone else was making sure that our wedding party was getting prepped on time, that our vendors were arriving on schedule, and that the right guests were in the right vehicles and pictures. Leading up to our wedding, there were so many moments when I felt like I was the main person driving things forward and it was exhausting (even though my husband contributed a ton), but Sawyer and his team drove the wedding day, which made the day so much more enjoyable for me and my husband. I would highly recommend the Bliss team!

We were a little nervous at first because our planner seemed so young but we quickly learned that she was very professional and well equipped to get us on track to the beautiful, well planned wedding we envisioned. Needless to say, our planner, Rachel, was on point! She was super sweet, on top of everything and well organized. We really appreciated all of her assistance leading up to the day especially since we resided in DC and could not come to NC as often as needed. She did everything with precision and detail and on the day of was prepared with everything we needed but didn't know we needed - if that makes sense :). We loved the step by step schedule she prepared for our entire wedding party and the way she kept any snafus (if there were any) quiet so I wasn't a nervous wreck on our special day. She even put up with my hubby's excel spreadsheets and directives - which is no small feat. We had a wonderful wedding and are truly thankful to Bliss by Sam for helping to make it run as smoothly as it did.

Provided great professional services for Ada's wedding. I know Ada was a bit upset when first seeing the space where the ceremony was to take place because it wasn't set up exactly as she had planned. Not sure if that fell on the wedding planner or venue set up team.
