The DJ BlendMasters made our wedding the complete package. From our first meeting with Steve, we knew they would be a great fit. They are flexible and responsive to whatever requests you may have. They have the easiest app in which you can plan your entire wedding timeline of music from ceremony to reception to first dance songs and more! And the photo booth add on is an absolute must. Our guests continue to rave about this experience as better than any old typical photo booth. But the cherry on top was the hype man! They hype man was out on the dance floor the entire night making sure that people were dancing and having the time of their life. We highly recommend Steve and team as they will take your wedding to the next level.

I was very pleased with my entire experience with Blendmasters DJ Service. The whole process was so easy, they constantly stayed in touch, and most importantly, on the night, we had a fantastic DJ who really knew how to "read" the crowd and make sure everyone had a great time. Our DJ was so personable, dressed perfectly for the occasion and adjusted the music to the stages of our event seamlessly. We were so sorry when he had to leave! I would recommend 100%.

Greatest DJ ever!
Recently got married on Saturday October 18, 2025. Our wedding reception was held at La Petite Auberge in Fredericksburg, VA. Blendmasters DJ services was absolutely awesome! Very reasonable pricing and worked with my playlist that I requested (as the bride). They were super cool, kind, outgoing and so much fun! My sister, the maid of honor, it was always her dream to dj, and they let her dj a song and she lived for it! She had a blast as did everyone else who danced the night away until 11pm! They were super accommodating and honestly just super great people all the way around, very professional! I enjoyed their bubbly personalities and they were without a doubt the best DJ's ever! Allison was outstanding and helped to get everything set up on the front end in terms of the contract and payment. We got two DJ's plus uplighting and the bride/groom dance including dancing on the cloud which was absolutely magical. The music was incredible, the transitions between songs was on point. We had an absolute blast!!! You cannot go wrong by hiring DJ blendmasters! Strongly recommend for your wedding! You will not be disappointed!!!

Amazing DJ and Emcee team for our wedding!
We had such a great experience working with DJ Blendmasters! They provided music and sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and everything went so smoothly. The music choices were spot on throughout each part of the day, and the transitions between moments felt seamless.
The emcee they provided was also fantastic—he kept the energy high during the reception, led fun games, and made sure to keep the energy levels high and kept our guests dancing and having a great time. From start to finish, they helped create such a lively and joyful atmosphere for our guests. Blendmasters brought the party!
Blendmasters did an excellent job for our wedding in Richmond! I booked a DJ and MC, photobooth, and uplighting all through Blendmasters, and they brought the energy and helped make it a fantastic day. Months before the wedding, they gave us access to an app to help plan out all our wedding music selections and ideas in one spot for everyone to reference. Our DJ, Steve, met with us a week in advance of the wedding to go through our ideas and make sure we were all squared away. Steve and our MC, Jody, helped with creating ambiance and making announcements during our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner; helped mic us up for the ceremony and speeches, and brought the party for our reception dancing. Their music selections were so fun, and we got many compliments on the liveliness of our dance floor after the wedding. The photobooth was also managed so well, and our guests had a blast posing for photos and taking the photo memories home. Blendmasters also gifted us with a book full of the photos taken at the photobooth, which is a wonderful memory to have. I highly recommend them!

Wedding of the year!
Our big day was October 11 and having the Blendmasters team there to help us celebrate was an experience! From the ceremony setup to cocktail hour and then the reception, everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the music. We also had the 360 Photo Booth which was a hit with our guests! We definitely had the wedding of our dreams and Blendmasters DJ services did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a professional and “turn-up”, having everyone on the dance floor kind of experience, Blendmasters is the way to go!

I hired Blendmasters to DJ and MC my 300-person wedding. They far exceeded my expectations and absolutely crushed it!! The whole team was awesome - Steve the DJ and owner, Stephanie the day of coordinator, Jody the MC, Terrin the assistant and amazing dancer, the Photo Booth team, the lighting team, and the guys doing special effects (dancing on the cloud & CO2 blasters). Meet them at Fredericksburg Expo and instantly liked their energy and enthusiasm. The extremely detailed wedding timeline console "bible" that leads you through their development process was awesome. Any concerns we might have had were handles expeditiously by all members of the team. 100+ person wedding and everyone told us it was the best wedding ever! We credit BlendMasters for those comments, for the vibe and professionalism that they brought to our wedding. We really enjoyed working with each member of BlendMasters, from Stephen(owner) Cornell(Emcee), Maxwell(DJ), Greg(360 Machine) and Norm(Photo Booth) they were all awesome! We hired Blendmasters for our wedding karaoke afterparty. They required little communication and were able to make it happen so easily. Steven was GREAT to work with! I had about 100 things on my plate and Steven was so incredible about hoping on a call with me to make some last minute changes. He executed my vision so well for the dance floor, our friends are still raving about how much fun they had. Prompt, Professional, compassionate and AMAZING
I can’t thank Blendmasters enough. They came through during one of the most important days of one’s life. Our daughter’s wedding a magical and memorable day could have gone south if it wasn’t for Blenmasters to the rescue. I was informed the night before the wedding that my daughter hadn’t heard back from the original DJ she hired through Djsnow. I did research and found out they went out of business.
With less than 24 hours and complete panic mode I searched for a new DJ hanging onto hope. I found Blendmasters! From the very first conversation with Steve who was amazing and put my mind at ease that he would find a way to make it happen. He quickly put me in touch with a DJ who could do our event. I was stressing on how could they get the song selection and time frames and event details straight with less than 24 hours?
They were professional and communication was stellar! Allison who sent over the contract was professional and helped us understand everything. Our DJ Maxwell arrived early, leaving his other job earlier to make sure he was at our venue to set up. He was professional and prompt. The ceremony was beautiful and the song selection was on point and went as planned. Again all on short notice Maxwell made it happen as if he wasn’t just told this information the day of.
The reception was a blast! Maxwell made sure to keep the vibes up and things running smoothly as planned. DJ Maxwell was born to be a DJ with his vibes and moves! It was great to see him interact with the guest and keep everyone dancing! We highly recommend Blendmasters for all events. From the bottom of our hearts we can’t Thank them enough for everything they have done and for their professionalism and compassion during one of the most stressful moments.

Saved our Party!
We couldn't have had a better experience; Maxwell really was amazing at my daughter's wedding. We had a major issue when all the power in the area was knocked out and we had a 10-minute lag before a generator was started. He managed to keep the music going albeit not as loud (I'm assuming from a phone I didn't ask) so the guests did not leave because of the issue. I am so thankful for them being able to do this it really helped keep my daughter's wedding from shutting down halfway through. They were so professional and were really able to truly bring the party to the barn wedding she envisioned. They will not disappoint you when you use them, and I could not be happier with their service! Can I give a 10-star rating?

Funnest Night Ever!
I can’t say enough about the excellent service I got for my sons wedding!! Steven and I spoke several times and he sent me two amazing guys out that were very professional and put on a fantastic show!
It turned out to be hot, and a storm came up but we stayed dancing through it all! I also decided to surprise my son with a videographer at the last moment and he found me someone so the owner went above and beyond for me! They even gave my son a gift at the end which blew him away and he was so happy! All of our guest had so much fun and said it was the best DJs they had ever seen at an event! The highlight of our wedding!
Steve and Greg did SUCH an amazing job DJ/emceeing our wedding. We got so many comments from friends and family about how great they were. People started dancing right after dinner and didn’t stop the entire night, even after the lights came on at the end of the reception. The dance floor was packed the entire night and Steve and Greg did a great job taking our suggestions but reading the room and handling everything. If you’re looking for a DJ that can ensure you and your guests have a party that they will remember, look no further than Blendmasters!!

Steve with Blendmasters was such an awesome DJ for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. He provides an app so you can download each song you want in each specific part of the ceremony and reception. He was extremely friendly and took the time to listen to what we wanted and made sure to get everything right. Most importantly, he kept all of our guests up dancing and having a good time!

An Amazing Part of Our Day!
Steve and his team at Blendmasters were absolutely amazing to work with! Steve got everyone at our wedding up and dancing, even people I thought would never dance! He took requests, blended one song into the next to avoid awkward silences, got out on the dance floor with guests, and read the vibe of the room to know what to play next. Steve even took the time to ask what our wedding colors were and showed up dressed to the nines with pops of color in his suit that matched our color scheme! Blendmasters uses an app so that you can curate your timeline and playlist for the entire day. We loved this feature. Our only issue that we had was that we had a few songs on our "Must Play" list that didn't end up getting played. Otherwise, every single thing they did for our day was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Made our reception AMAZING
We hired Blendmasters for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for that day. Steve and his emcee were AMAZING! The app they give you access to to plan your music timeline was so easy to use. They made sure everyone at our wedding was having a great time on and off the dance floor and even let my husband steal the mic for awhile. I would rate 10 stars if I could!

We had an amazing experience with Blendmasters DJ’s at our wedding ceremony and reception! The sound quality was impeccable and crystal clear. DJ Hyoctane surprised my husband with a beautiful birthday solo by his beautiful emcee. She kept folks on the floor and dancing throughout the night! We did line dancing , chacha slide, wobble song, just an awesome time we couldn’t be more pleased. The photo booth was included in our package and it was a hit throughout the nite. Folks couldn’t get enough of it! The uplighting was beautiful the monogram was beautiful everything was just perfect! I’m so pleased with the way my wedding turned out ceremony and reception! I booked an MC and DJ and they were both amazing! Very professional and kind I have nothing bad to say about them! The MC really knows how to run a wedding which was super helpful during the ceremony because we did not! And the music during the reception was super fun. Steve was extremely helpful with the booking process. They provided an app for us to look through and select our songs/timelines which was really helpful!
Maxwell was super responsive and punctual.
He took over the set lists for the reception and got everyone out on the dance floor! All of our guests loved him.

Best Day Ever
DJ Hy Octane and the Blendmaster crew rocked our wedding. From the ceremony setup with instrumental and spiritual music through the wedding reception where the team took to the floor with high energy engagement, these guys kept the party dancing all night long. The monogram lighting was a wonderful detail. The uplighting in line with our wedding color scheme turned the dance floor into a whole ‘nother world, and the dance on a cloud was magical. I could not recommend these guys more!

DJ Hyoctane (Steve) made our wedding reception all I had ever dreamed about. His experience, personality, and professionalism were top notch. From the moment our cocktail hour started until past when my husband and I exited, he played the perfect music at the perfect times. He also handled all introductions and special announcements with ease as he worked easily alongside our wedding director. Throughout the my whole experience with Blendmasters, Steve was more like a friend than anything and that made our wedding even more special. I wouldn’t recommend anyone other than Blendmasters!

Blendmasters DJ Services are truly MASTERS at what they do. I had the honor of collaborating with Steve and his team on a recent wedding/reception held at the Estate at River Run. Not only are they extremely pleasant, accommodating, professional and talented, they are the epitome of excellence. Steve was unceasingly diligent about ensuring that all of our requests and needs were met. His playlist was very diverse and simply awesome! This is a high-spirited team that brings such positive energy, that's very contagious! Everyone stayed on dance floor, there was never a dull moment. I would highly recommend this company. Additionally, the comprehensive packages they offer from uplighting, to monogram floor lighting, to photo booth and MC services are unbeatable.

I got married on Halloween this year. Steve and his team were INCREDIBLE! For someone like myself that barely has planned as much as a birthday party to have to plan an entire wedding was stressful but they made it an absolute breeze! Everyone on the team was beyond professional, very responsive and even handled an awkward family moment at the reception gracefully. They also easily adapted to any day of changes. We hired Blendmasters for our daughters wedding reception after meeting them at a bridal show. We loved their energy and personalities and knew they would get the party started and keep it going! We had already hired a DJ a week before we meet Steve and his guys but immediately canceled them once we hired BlendMasters. Steve is a great guy and helped us immensely when trying to get DJ stuff done. He loves music and takes his job seriously. A DJ will make or break an event so it's very important to get a DJ with energy and personality! We highly recommend BlendMasters for your event!

Absolutely Amazing
My experience was phenomenal! Not only was Steve and his assistant Allison very responsive throughout the whole planning process, they were super informative as well! The wedding day was rearranged quite a bit due to weather and we had to rush through our reception to get everything done. It took one conversation with Steve and his MC and everything moved in a quick and orderly fashion. After our send off, Steve made the effort to come to me and my husband to bring us a photo album with the pictures that were taken in the photo booth, as well as a bottle of champagne! 2 days later, he emailed me copies of the photo booth pictures, which allows me the ability to print even more copies and save them to my phone. Such a phenomenal man and a team of people that work with him. All of my guests are still talking about how amazing he was and how amazing his MC was! Truly truly truly worth every penny!! Thank you so much Steve and team for making my day even more memorable...I will constantly be recommending you!!

BlendMasters was the perfect choice for our wedding. We hired them for our ceremony and reception, and used their photobooth services. They kept the party going and even danced alongside us! At the end of the night, they presented us with a photo book of all of the PhotoBooth photos and a bottle of sparkling wine. Such a sweet touch. Every member of their staff was friendly, helpful, professional, and quick to respond. They made sure everything was tailored to us. I would absolutely recommend them!!

Finding Steven was the best thing that could have happened to us! A week before the big day my last dj had cancelled on me and I had no idea what we were going to do. We did some research and found his company, told him what happened and what a coincidence, he had a cancellation. It was a sign that it was meant to be! Honestly, without the help and hospitality that was given to us from them, our night wouldn’t have been the same! He took videos and pictures for us and really took care of my husband and I. Hands down would recommend 100%!!

The guys were amazing from start to finish for our wedding. They gave us tips to help with the wedding & were super hospitable. They even joined in on the reception! It was super hot & humid on our big day & they were able to slowly cut our first dance short after noticing my wife was overheating. These guys really pay attention & made the flow of the wedding excellent. I really cannot recommend them enough. No matter the event, this is the company you want!

DJ Steve was supposed to be our DJ for our May 2020 wedding. After the Covid-19 craziness began, he was very accommodating with postponing and eventually canceling the event, which took a lot of stress off of us.
His website to build our playlist was easy to use, and we spent a fun night with a bottle of wine picking our Great, Good, and Never songs. Looking forward to booking him to a future event!

If you want a fun and engaging DJ, I would recommend Blendmasters for your event. We met them at a wedding expo and saw how engaging they were and said we wanted them at our wedding. We were right. Our DJ not only kept the crowd active, he kept the group moving with a varying amount of music. While all weddings have a dissipating crowd as the night goes on, he kept people there longer because they were dancing and having fun. I would use him at all of our future events.

I cannot speak more highly of The Blendmasters! Wow... what an AMAZING DJ service! So professional, so punctual, easy going and SO FUN!!! They cater to your style. The flow was on point and perfect. I had an interesting mix of songs and my ceremony wasn’t very traditional as far as music, and The Blendmasters made it happen!!! I am 100% happy with how the music turned out. Many people told me before my wedding that the DJ is a hit or miss, so I was concerned a bit. But I was blown away. Our friends and family were complimenting us on how great our wedding was and how our dance floor was packed literally the entire night. Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor! And Blendmasters didn’t mind, they just kept the party going! They were so easy to get along with, great personalities!!! Everyone loved them. They even were invited to the after party! Amazing DJ
One of my biggest wants for the wedding was a good/fun DJ. The last thing I wanted was a person just playing music. DJ Steve was perfect! Between him and MC Wizzy the reception was a blast. Everyone had such a great time! The most personable people I have ever met! We couldn’t have had a more perfect reception unless it was just slightly less warm. They even had the exact song for the ceremony itself. Absolutely adore them!

A night to remember
Everything was great! I truly loved every minute of my reception; my dreams came true that night! I recommend anybody looking for a good DJ to contact them! Their responses are quick and they were very understanding. I could go on and on, but overall thank you for a wonderful night!

Amazing DJ
We were not surprised at the services we received as the previous reviews were good. Our expectations were high and Steve exceeded them. The process was seamless to me. He gathered the music that we wanted and took it from there. The reception was fun and Steve and his team were engaged the entire time. We plan to retain them again in May and for any other event we need. Thank you for a memorable evening!

The Jones Turn Up -Perfection
DJ Octane was the epitome of professional and he and his MC KEPT THE PARTY GOING, just the way we like it! Non-stop hits, energy, fun and positive vibes. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and he had people dancing whom I had never seen dance before!!! It was so hype! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

Richmond Wedding
We chose to go with Steve because we were looking for somebody affordable and that had the right personality for our party. We called around and spoke to many DJ's - some came across as though we should have paid them just to talk to them. Steve was down to earth, and we knew he was the right one after a short conversation. He made an effort to attend our wedding meetings with our coordinator and communicated with us as much as possible via video chat and phone call. We were planning our wedding while living in another state, which was difficult, but Steve made it easier on us. We had a special situation regarding our first dance, and Steve also worked with us on that. Steve was also able to handle our uplighting request for much cheaper than the others. Thanks, Steve!

The Blendmasters DJ Team is phenomenal!!! We immediately hit it off with Steve and knew he had to DJ our wedding! Steven went above and beyond for us, from the ambient lighting, to mixing songs for our bridal party introduction, as well as helping us create a fully customized monogram for the reception. We cannot rave enough about the Blendmasters Team. They are truly top-notch!

Wow! There just aren't enough accolades to give Steve Anderson AKA DJ HyOctane and his company, Blendmasters DJ Services. You're not just receiving music, you are obtaining a highly customized entertainment experience. They are always prompt, professional, and courteous. Their equipment is appropriate to the venue and set up efficiently.
Steve and one of his DJs recently provided entertainment for my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday party. Not only did they entice reluctant teens onto the dance floor, they made it cool for the parents to join in as well. And, my daughter will always remember being personally serenaded with a beautiful rendition of Stevie Wonder's classic "Happy Birthday".
Now, contrast this experience to my husband's surprise birthday party this past winter. It was a blow out house party! Steve's team definitely helped to make the party atmosphere... the right music at the right times... the right DJ ad libs to keep the mood flowing... The dance floor was constantly packed. The inside of the house was definitely pumping, while the neighbors never had a problem...
You will always be grateful that you booked Steve Anderson AKA DJ HyOctane and his company, Blendmasters DJ Services!

I recently utilized Blendmasters DJ services for my son’s graduation celebration. The event was a huge success and Blendmasters DJ Service was a major contributing factor to this outcome. DJ Wizzi arrived in ample time prior to the event to set up. He was very friendly and delivered on all special requests pertaining to the music selection. He had skills on the tables and kept the party jumping!! My guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and talked about it for days following the event. I will definitely select Blendmasters DJ services for future events.

This is the best DJ service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve used other DJs in the past but none could compare to Blendmasters! Our wedding experience was awesome in part because of the music and the atmosphere DJ K Love set in place! Blendmasters are now a part of our family!

Honestly, look no further. Blendmasters is the company you want to hire for your DJ services, especially for your wedding. Our friends and family that attended our wedding are still raving about Blendmaster’s services. They and we were impressed by Steve and his MC’s professionalism, skill, enthusiasm and how they were able to get the guest on the dance floor without having anyone to go around persuading or begging people to get on the dance floor. When I say that I have never been to a wedding where people started danicing immediately. I’m not just saying this because it was our wedding. We were prepared to get people on the dance floor but we didn’t need to. Steve and his MC provided the right chemistry to get the party started. They played the music everyone wanted to dance to. We were overly pleased with their work. I’m sure you will be too.

Steve Anderson did a fantastic job accommodating all of our unusual music requests :) We had a TV/movie themed wedding ceremony & reception and we was able to play all of our requested TV and movie themes, which was not an easy feat. He was very responsive and professional, and checked in with the bride and groom during the event to make sure we were having the best night possible. I told Steve that next to my husband, he was one of the most important people there that evening, and he did not disappoint. Thank you Blendmasters!

Steven was excellent. He was responsive and knows his business top to bottom. He was prepared for the shifts in schedule in the evening and even took my request as the groom.
We interviewed 5 DJs and Steven seemed the most down to earth and was all world the night off our wedding in June. Stop searching and book him.

Thanks to Blendmasters my wedding day was a day I'll never forget. They were professional, entertaining, and most of all played the best music. The guys at Blendmasters will work with you every step of the way. Communicate early and often with them, meet them early on, and they will deliver the perfect experience. Trust me, nobody will work harder for you and deliver exactly what you want for all aspects of your wedding; for us it was a perfect ceremony and reception, thanks in part to the effort of Blendmasters. They were flawless on a day with terrible weather, too. Just further reason they are the BEST and must be booked ASAP!
