Romantic perfection!
I had a very clear image in my mind of how I pictured our wedding venue to look on our special day. Not surprisingly, Anne exceeded my expectations! She effortlessly chooses the most beautiful floral arrangements to bring your vision to life and created the gorgeous, romantic room I had always imagined for my wedding day! Anne truly has a gift, and you are very lucky if she is part of your special day!I had a very clear image in my mind of how I pictured our wedding venue to look on our special day. Anne is so much more than a florist, her ability to envision the 'big picture' and set the overall look and feel of an event is amazing. Anne was recommended to us by our wedding planner and the two of them worked closely to bring our event to life. Anne could not have made our wedding more perfect. She is extremely talented, professional, and just a pleasure to work with. We were literally 'wow'd' when we walked into our wedding. We can not thank her enough for creating such a beautiful and awe-inspiring back drop for our special day.

Anne was a dream to work with. At our first meeting, I was not 100% in love with the floral selection for my centerpieces and bouquet. However, she was eager to make some changes to create my dream bouquet and floral decor for the wedding. When I walked into our ceremony, I was absolutely speechless with her amazing work. She created the most stunning hanging pieces for over to the two large bars. People are still talking about how stunning they were. Our bouquets were drop dead gorgeous and I wish I could carry it around with me every day all day. Overall, Blade completely exceeded our expectations and set the tone for our wedding and I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for PERFECT flowers for their wedding day!! I was the bride who REALLY cared about the flowers - they were the most important part of the event, in my eyes. Anne met with me, had prepared an incredible sample and took the time to listen to what I wanted... then she just made it happen. When my ideas went over budget (oops...) Anne worked with me to take our original idea, and revamp it to be affordable and still incredibly beautiful. Anne is not only incredibly talented, experienced and professional, but her down-to-earth nature was so refreshing as everyone in the wedding world tends to be VERY intense. My flowers were perfect and my guests are still telling me how gorgeous the flowers were. By far, working with Anne at Blade Floral was the best decision I could have made for my wedding day. From day one, Anne was flexible and available, and she is so patient and kind! She is incredibly talented and creative, and she took my wishes and my "vision", and escalated it to a level I could never have imagined with the greatest of ease.
Anne was familiar with my venue, and attended meetings there with their staff, to help me choose linens, make design decisions, and to perfect every detail. She thought of everything! From a basket to hold my parasols, to table numbers, to gorgeous pomanders to decorate my ceremony - I had complete faith in her!
I was floored when I saw her samples and a mock table. The design was so thoughtful and beautiful, and reflected so well on me, my venue, and the overall feel of my wedding. When all of the flowers were in the space - my family and I were overwhelmed. The arrangements were gorgeous, and our bouquets left us speechless! Every last detail was worked to perfection, and guests raved about the flowers and décor. We are still getting compliments on the flowers, and they are stunning in pictures!

I kept swiveling my head during the reception to see yet another amazing arrangement or lighting element in the room. I was absolutely in love with everything - especially all the bouquets. Anne is truly talented. She took my scattered ideas and created the perfect, cohesive theme for my September 28th wedding.
She was so flexible and easy going throughout the entire planning process, and she provided feedback and honest advice that was incredibly helpful. She was very respectful of my budget and worked with me to make sure I was able to include all the details I wanted within my price range, meeting with me several times in person and even taking me to the flower market.
Anne was one of my favorite vendors to work with, and I really can't recommend her enough!

We got married on August 31st, 2013 at the DeSeversky Mansion and she went over and above our expectations. The arrangements were raved about and truly amazing. The touches about the venue and at the ceremony were exactly what we had hoped for. She is a pleasure to work with and talk to. Very caring, she listens and understands, and is so, so talented.
She took the time at numerous meetings to hear and explore the direction / vibe we hoped for during our wedding and executed and expanded upon our vision perfectly. Not just with respect to floral and linens, but for other touches around the venue and for the ceremony. Her choices and creativity are impeccable and we were fortunate to have her as a foundation in a group of vendors that made our day so special.

Anne was absolutely incredible to work with. She was extremely available and never pushy. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted our wedding (220 guests) to look like and she absolutely brought it to life. This was especially impressive, being that I planned my wedding long-distance; I was based in CA, and the wedding was in NY. Anne worked with me via phone and email to make things work perfectly. Her pricing was also very reasonable. She even worked directly with the lighting vendor for me so that I didn't have to, and was extremely honest and reasonable throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend Anne. She has the vision to create anything you have in mind, and the bandwidth to bring to life a wide spectrum of different styles and looks. I wish I could have preserved all of the flowers forever!Anne was absolutely incredible to work with. She was extremely available and never pushy. I thought working with someone in another state might be challenging (my reception was in NYC, but I live in Indiana), but Anne was so easy to work with over email and via Skype. She understood my vision immediately and made it a reality. Anne is not just a fantastic florist, but an amazing designer - she helped me conceptualize what the space should look like from the lighting to the flowers to decorations, etc. Anne is open to all kinds of ideas, but what I liked best is that she did not hesitate to make recommendations (I didn't always know exactly what I wanted) - she was always right. Anne is so talented, amazing, and easy to work with - I cannot thank her enough. I could not have been happier with the work that Anne did for our wedding at Studio 450. I came to her with many different ideas and photos, and she put together a great vision and design for the entire wedding -- from the personal flowers and reception flowers to the general design and feel of the room. I absolutely loved all of the finished products. She paid attention to other aspects of the wedding (e.g., my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, the space, logistics) to make sure that everything came together smoothly and beautifully. She had great recommendations and tips on not only flowers, but lighting and other general decor (linens, napkin colors, paper colors). She was extremely responsive to my emails and concerns and very accommodating to last minute changes. I had an idea of a travel themed wedding and wanted to incorporate antique globes and maps into my table and reception decor. She magically turned my ideas into the most beautiful and unique vintage travel inspired design. She created a wonderful compilation of cream and white Fall flowers and collected globes, vases, suite cases and maps and set up each table differently. She transformed an old map into a stand for the place cards and all of my guests spend time gazing at the entrance table. I received so many compliments and was so happy with how it turned out. Working with Anne was the most enjoyable part of our wedding planning. She met with us at 5 in the morning right when the flower district was opening business for the day and we walked around to discuss which type of flowers and colors we liked. With that and some pictures, she took it away and nailed it right on the head. The decor and all the flower arrangements were AAA-MAYYY-ZING! It was exactly what we hoped for and much more! With that and some pictures, she took it away and nailed it right on the head. The decor and all the flower arrangements were AAA-MAYYY-ZING! It was exactly what we hoped for and much more! Anne - We can’t thank you enough for the amazing job you did for our wedding! The bouquets were beautiful and the look that you created throughout the mansion at the Woodlands was more than we could have ever hoped for. I know my mom mentioned it to you but even the General Manager said that you transformed the room and made it look beautiful….The candelabra’s and individual candles created the perfect lighting and the centerpieces were gorgeous! I know a lot of brides use the high centerpieces there and I wanted to be a little different! You did that and more! I have to say, my most favorite piece was the piano/escort card table! I loved how the cards looked like they were on a mossy hill surrounded by our picture frames. It was exactly what I wanted and as you described the day we met. You are the best at what you do - you were honest about which flowers would work based on the season, went way out of your way to meet with us and share ideas and was always so quick to get back to me with answers to my questions! So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful job you did and how long the centerpieces lasted after they took them home! We just got our professional pics back and I wanted to share them with you, I hope you like them as much as we do!

I have to say that working with Anne at Blade Floral & Event Designs was a breath of fresh air. I spent more time interviewing with florists than I did any other vendor in NYC, and I was so frustrated by the process. Most of the florists I met with spent over an hour with me to hear about what I wanted, and would send me a very expensive proposal with nothing "concrete" mentioned in their designs, and then never respond back to me when I questioned their proposal.
This was not the case with Anne. She was recommended to me by the event coordinator at my wedding venue, Bar Americain. She is incredibly professional. Her correspondence with me was fabulous (she emails you back immediately). Her flowers are just lovely, and she designed flowers for us that were exactly what we had asked for and within my budget !
Don't waste time sitting down with several florists, just meet with Anne. You will not need to look any further. Planning my wedding was a wonderful experience because I chose to work with very talented, intelligent, and humane vendors. Blade was terrific. Anne did a great job managing my vision and my budget. She did a "story board" after our first meeting which was very helpful, its nice to be able to see what you've discussed versus trying to imagine it. Anne was responsible for more than just our flowers (which were absolutely STUNNING!) on the wedding night - she designed the whole look from the furniture we ordered, the linens, pillows, candles, etc. We still look back in awe at how amazing the venue looked that night thanks to Anne.
