The timely communication and extra help throughout the night to make sure the event ran smoothly was greatly appreciated! They kept the dance floor full the entire night. Tony was phenomenal from beginning to end. He put our minds at ease with the planning ahead of the big day. He kept the party going all night!!! Thanks to him he made our wedding day a huge success. We will definitely be recommending him to our friends and family. As far as the Photo Booth I was hesitant about the party roamer at first. But I am so thankful for it because my husband and I were able to get in the photos!!!! SO SO thankful for Black Tie productions! Thanks a million Tony, Allison & Craig!!!

I cannot recommend Black Tie Productions enough! They did absolutely amazing! My DJ was Aaron, and he was simply great! The forms you fill out help so much with keeping things run as they should but they’re also very flexible throughout your party. I booked a DJ for my outdoor wedding, and Aaron showed up on time and set everything up. He kept the music going until it was the end of my booking and had me and my guests dancing all night long. They truly do an outstanding job for weddings! They also bring lights which really set the mood! 10/10

Aaron was great. He made sure we got a nice strip at the beginning of the night which we loved. He was attentive to the guests, made sure my husband and I were doing good. Towards the end of the night when no one was going into the booth anymore, he made sure to roam & get some awesome pictures & boomerangs.

DJ Tim was awesome!
It's been 3 weeks since we got married and we're STILL getting compliments on our DJ Tim! As soon as we had our zoom call with him I knew he'd be a great fit. He was so calm and relaxed and brought our stress level down. We were a little worried because neither of our families are big into dancing and didn't want the DJ to pressure them like we've seen at other wedding. But we had people consistently dancing the ENTIRE night. They all said they had so much fun and that he had an awesome music collection. All of his announcements were spot on and the way he faded out the music for the processional, my walk down the aisle, and special dances were perfect. I chose Craig and his team because their website/team was so unique. It was fun and definitely caught my attention. Their communication throughout the whole process was outstanding! Every text and email they sent was so kind and not pushy at all. I highly recommend them and DJ Tim!

Event Heroes Delivered Big Time
Mike and the guys over at Black Tie Productions were beyond anything we could have asked for. The DJ’s energy was perfect for our wedding. He went way above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding night unforgettable. He was bringing us drinks, checking in on us, and interacting with the crowd. We would get texts and emails about reminders leading up to the date that helped make the process extremely smooth. I have nothing bad to say at all about Black Tie Productions and I would definitely hire them again!

I would give 10 stars if I could
We had DJ Chris for our wedding on 9/9/23 and he was so GREAT! We have received so many great compliments about our wedding reception as a whole and a huge part of that is because of Chris and Black Tie Productions. Absolutely phenomenal service and experience
We hired Black Tie Productions for our DJ, photo booth, and uplighting and it was absolutely worth every penny. DJ Tony was able to DJ and emcee the event flawlessly and kept everything on track and was in contact with our photographer constantly throughout the night so no important photos were missed. Their website for wedding planning the reception and music was great and Tony read everything and knew exactly what we were hoping for. The photobooth was also a huge hit. Money well spent!

Amazing dj mike and photo booth kristin
DJ Mike and Photo Booth Kristin were absolutely incredible for our wedding! DJ Mike kept things moving with ease and fun of course, kept the music going! He was wonderful on the microphone! Photo Booth Kristin made sure photos were being taken and made sure we were in some Photo Booth shots! They were all smiles all night! Highly recommend Black Tie!

The Best DJ we could have asked for
We are so happy we chose Black Tie Productions for our daughter’s wedding this past Saturday. From the start, the process was simple and smooth. We received regular communication from Craig with important reminders and dates. The weddbite and planning section were easy to use as well. On the big day, Michael was incredible. He was professional and responsive to my wife and I and did an exceptional job with the music for the ceremony and the reception. His ability to read the crowd played a huge role in his he dance floor being packed the entire time. Every single guest commented about the spectacular job he did. These guys helped make my daughter’s special day absolutely perfect. They are worth every penny and they come with my highest recommendation. Thank you Black Tie Productiion and Michael! We used Black Tie Productions for our DJ services at our wedding over the weekend and they did not disappoint! From thw very beginning, Craig was immediate with contacting me and ensuring everything was going well. They have the most organized planning tools on their website as well. Chris Monroe was absolutely on point for the wedding day too! Chris made sure we knew he was there for us that day, even bringing us drinks during pictures! I cannot recommend these guys enough!

Best dj and photobooth ever!
DJ Mike and Photobooth Paul were absolutely amazing. DJ Mike played everything everyone wanted to hear, interacted with our guests and did a couple dances with us. Photobooth Paul ran the photobooth like a pro, took the roaming camera around to get pictures and videos, helped all the little kids when they were trying to take pictures. It's was a great time. I got so many compliments on how it was such a great idea to have the photobooth to keep the kids entertained. I loved the photobook we received at the end of the night with all the pictures in it. Craig was awesome to deal with by answering calls and emails in a timely fashion. I would most definitely recommend Black Tie Productions to everyone. 6/3/23 Wedding
We got so many compliments on our Black Tie Hero’s! Our DJ, Tony, kept the dance floor full the entire night! He knew exactly how to keep the crowd entertained and everyone loved him!! We ended up also renting a photobooth and it was the best decision we made. Our guests loved it! Paul had the photo roaming camera out all night and even provided us with a beautiful book of everyone’s prints at the end of the night. We were so happy so see all of the things we missed that night since we couldn’t be everywhere at once. Thank you again to Tony, Paul, Craig and everyone at Black Tie!!

If you want an excellent DJ service who only has your vision in mind, look no further! Tim and Kristen were absolutely amazing! Their professionalism was top notch! They were very involved with the quests, getting people dancing and having a great time! We had SEVERAL compliments on how fun our reception was because of the DJ and Photo Booth! The Uplighting was amazing and the giant LOVE letters were the icing on the cake!

The crew was great to work with, especially with DJ Tony on the wedding day. He asked us if we needed anything throughout the night. He also got the guests involved throughout the night when doing activities, such as the cake cutting. Music was just what we asked for and we danced all night long!

The best ever!
Tony did a PHENOMENAL job at our reception last night! I can not talk more highly of him. He was extremely organized, communicative and most importantly did a great job keeping people dancing! I don’t want to leave out our Photo Booth operator Kristin either! She also did a FANTASTIC job making sure she got photos of everybody since we didn’t have a photographer. She was so awesome! I highly HIGHLY recommend Black Tie Productions. I don’t have any complaints at all :)

Solid experience all around!
My husband and I wanted to make sure we found a great DJ to have the dance floor busy and a great party. We had gone to a wedding a few months before ours that used a different company and they were bad, so we were nervous about how ours was going to go. There was a lot of information that we had to fill out, but it was nice to help navigate our needs. When we met with our DJ, DJ Tony, a couple weeks prior to the wedding, we were immediately confident in him and he was a great fit for us. He even showed up to our subtle Harry Potter themed wedding with HP socks on!! He did a fantastic job making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible, and handled us needing to add a blessing last minute despite us telling him we weren't going to do that (the things ya do for family...). We had such a wonderful wedding celebration and could not recommend DJ Tony and Black Tie Productions enough!!

Super wedding team!
Michael was amazing at our wedding in December! Perfectly timed the music to everything going on and always knew what the crowd was looking to hear! He was also willing to get on the dance floor and teach us how to dance to some of the songs when we were lost. Craig was also super helpful with all of the office and admin stuff we had to do to make the night happen. Super happy with everyone's efforts to make the night amazing!

BTP was INCREDIBLE to work with start to finish! Their communication was not only fun but incredibly helpful and always efficient. DJ Tony had all of my guest on the dance floor the entire night and we have heard nothing but great feedback from our loved ones how much they LOVED our DJ and photo booth services! The best!!
These guys are amazing! Our wedding has been in the making for a few years, and this was the one vendor that I knew I had to use from the beginning. I had heard that these guys were the best and they did not disappoint. From booking, to meeting Tony, and then to our wedding day, everything went so smoothly. Tony is the best, and was a big part of making our Sunday wedding seem like a Saturday night. He was so helpful, and always so cheerful. Everyone was on the dance floor having the best time! I could not suggest him enough!

Best DJ Service Ever
We had a wonderful experience with Black Tie Affairs. We hired them 2 years ago for our wedding this past weekend and they exceeded our expectations. The office staff communicates with you every step of the way, the website is easy to navigate and personalize to cater to your song choices and any special dances, and most importantly our DJ for the night, Tony was fantastic. He had the best attitude all night, was flexible and got the dance floor going with no problem. As a bride who has had several things go wrong, Tony made me feel at ease because he makes sure everyone is on the same page that night. We received so many compliments on Tony’s service, we highly recommend requesting him for your wedding & choosing Black Tie Affairs!

I could not say enough good things about Black Tie Production! DJ Craig was so quick to respond to any of my questions. DJ Tony was amazing and even through in a short message to my dad right before our dance, as he was aware that we almost lost my dad in a motorcycle accident 3 months before my wedding. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and I had little to no stress!

Best DJ for hire. All the way down to the website and preparation. BTP ensures there is a solid line of communication leading up to and through the event to ensure everything is done the way you had envisioned it. The level of stress that is alleviated by the skill, knowledge and expertise that BTP comes with simply cannot be described or summed up any simpler than you will not be disappointed in choosing Them as your DJ. Even with a small hiccup with our specific DJ getting sick, the owner himself came out to take on the event on short notice. Typically when something goes awry like that on your wedding day it could seem catastrophic but Craig was sure to show his poise and professionalism by maintaining that level of communication and reassurance that everything will be perfect. That is how much this company cares for their customers. We were just utterly impressed and satisfied with our service booked with Black Tie Productions and you will be too.

THE best DJ service
Craig and Tom (our DJ) were absolutely wonderful to work with from initial discussion to our wedding day. Craig is very quick to get back to me with any questions I had and he sent several communications and reminders to fill out the details for the event, make payments and recommendations for key songs. On our Wedding day Tom showed up well in advance to get all set up. We didn't have any issues with the sound or microphones and the volume of the music was perfect for the venue (you didn't have to yell to hear the person next to you). One thing that stood out to me and my husband wasn't even the music, it was that Tom walked up to us several times throughout the evening to ask us we needed anything. I felt like he really cared about making our day special. They are fantastic to work with!

Every. Single. Penny was worth it. They are beyond reasonable price wise. The dj and photobooth operator were the funnest, sweetest people we have ever encountered. He always made sure my husband and I were taken care of, got us drinks, made sure we ate, and so much more above and beyond the music. Loved Tom our DJ! Highly recommend
Tom was amazing, the dance floor was packed all night! He played all of my favorite songs and many guests said wow your DJ was awesome. As soon as I arrived to the reception venue, he came over to discuss any last minute changes. He also got me a drink because I was so hot after taking pictures outside, I really appreciated that. From the moment he announced the wedding party, his stage presence was phenomenal (he got everyone hyped up for the entrance) and through out the day, he would check in with us. One example being, after dinner, my husband and I were making our rounds to thank guests and Tom said no rush- you let me know when you're ready for your first dance. I love that he didn't rush us and said it's your day, you let me know when you're ready. Towards the end of the night, I requested a few songs last minute, and he played them without hesitation. I feel very lucky that we had Tom as our DJ and want to thank him for being a part of our big day! Thank you so much, I had so much fun and I know everyone else did too! -Jenny and Brendan

The professionalism and kindness I received from your company was by far the best costumer service I’ve ever had. From the start to finish I felt comfortable and confident in the quality of service and the product I would receive. Every question was answered via email and phone. The contracts and online website were user friendly and the count down texts not only let me know that you were prepared it also made me feel like you were just as excited as I was.
Vincent was AMAZING we all felt like he was family at the end of the night. (If he can get a raise add a little something in there for him 😉) Professional, helpful with a kind spirit… the photo booth, uplifting and LOVE letters were a hit. The energy Vincent brought to the dance floor kept the party going all night.
Craig is also amazing and was accessible, kind and ready to assist me with anything. You guys have gained a few life long customers with me and my family.

5s across the board for both Tom and Vincent. The night went perfect. Tom ( our dj ) was rock solid all night, keeping the ball rolling and the crowd into it. Vincent ( our photo booth professional) did a great job with the photo booth as well as getting awesome pictures with the party roamer which was a huge hit.

Chris was SO communicative. Listened to exactly what we wanted. Did way more than what I expected from a DJ. Everyone had nothing but phenomenal things to say about him. You rock, Chris! Thank you for making our day perfect. From the music all the way to making sure we stayed hydrated. 😅 Simply the best service. 👌

Awesome job!!
Mike was our DJ and he was cool as hell! He did a great job keeping the music thumping and the dance floor as full as it could be. We would gladly hire Mike, Craig and Black Tie for any future events. Money well spent for sure!!

Amazing! Great communication and hyped up our wedding!

Another amazing event from Black Tie
Craig and Co. did another amazing job as expected. Chris was super personable and followed the itinerary to a “T”. Stephanie also did a great job. I smile every time I look thru the pictures she helped manage. I would highly recommend them for services!

I didn’t worry about a thing!
Mike took care of everything! He was so easy to work with and made sure our special day kept flowing flawlessly. He went above and beyond our expectations and he certainly kept our friends and family laughing with his jokes. I would absolutely recommend him and anyone from black tie productions!

I couldn’t be more happy that I found Black Tie Productions!! I was actually recommended by one of my bridesmaids to work with them and don’t regret for one second that I did!! The entire team that we dealt with was amazing! The online process was great in getting in exactly what we wanted our day to look like, all the way down to what songs we didn’t want! We were so glad we got to work with Tim, when we met to sit down and go over our big day we knew he was the perfect fit!! He really did make the day go off perfectly for us and helped streamline our day and timeline we wanted to stick to! We couldn’t be happier we worked with Black Tie Productions and will forever recommend them to anyone we know!

Fabulous and superb
Black tie was fabulous all night! They had everyone dancing all night long and was always asking if everything was good and if we were ready for the next thing to do. Also for dinner he carried my dinner plate to my table for me which I thought was super nice. Thank you again for an amazing night that we all loved

Fantastic from beginning to end!
This company goes above and beyond, and then even farther. Chris was the absolute best, and was so helpful through the entire day for not just myself, and my husband, but our photographers and families as well. Our guests spoke highly of him through the night, and told us very frequently how much they enjoyed our DJ! I cannot recommend this company and Chris himself enough! The photo booth was amazing! Everyone enjoyed it night long!

Katie and Taylors Wedding
Chris was AMAZING!!! He made sure that we (bride and groom) took a minute to just stand outside with him in between all the running around and just take a breather. He was organized, caring, funny, he kept the PARTY GOING ALL NIGHT! The venues owner came to pick up at the end of the night and was in shock, she had to call her husband to tell him that he would never believe how many people were still left by the end of the night dancing and having a blast. She said they have never had that many people left so close to the end of the night. We can’t thank Chris enough, our whole family keeps talking about how great he was!!
Chris truly gets a 10/10 and beyond!!!

All around amazing
These guys have been with us since before the pandemic and stuck with us until we got to have our big day! They were incredible and very easy to get in contact with and really accommodating to everything that was requested. Would highly recommend to anyone getting married!

They were so nice! They set up and took down without any guidance so I was stress free. The best part was if people weren’t in the photo booth they could walk around with the screen and get good group photos of everyone just amazing!

Tony was the man and hands down the best DJ! He's a natural host and kept the partying going all the way until they kicked us out! haha. He is ALL about YOU! I had some last minute changes, and he accommodated. Stephanie was our photo booth gal and she outdid herself! She was getting everyone to take pictures, came out to the dance floor and got some awesome photos for us with the handheld camera! 100/5 for this company! They were worth every single penny!

Worth Every Penny
We were considering having friends DJ our wedding to save money. From the first meeting with Black Tie, we knew we made the right decision in hiring a DJ. They do SO much more than play music. Their planning forms and website and questionnaires made us think of things we wouldn’t have considered. They helped to organize our whole event. Our guests were complimenting the DJ and the music all night. Even our photographer said they were adding Black Tie to their recommended vendors list! So so happy that we hired Black Tie!

Superb!!! Great DJ! Professional Company!
Hired Black Tie to DJ our first daughters wedding many years ago and they did an Excellent job as well as held a high standard for professionalism. When our last daughter began planning her wedding we knew we could count on them. Moving 2 years forward and due to Covid needing to cancel and reschedule 3 times , ultimately deciding to cancel for the last time and regretfully not reschedule, without any question , I was asked to provide my address to send our deposit refund. All of our vendors have not been so generous, sympathetic or kind, most have but not all. Do not hesitate to hire from this company. They are professional , kind, understanding and want nothing less than your complete satisfaction.

My now husband and I were going to use Black Tie Productions for our July 2021 wedding but had to cancel due to the uncertainty with COVID-19. Craig was professional and communicative throughout the entire pre-booking and booking process as well as understanding of our situation when we decided to cancel. Our venue was going to have difficult acoustics, and they were prepared to bring in a DJ that was familiar with the space and understood how to work with the sound for the optimal experience. We are disappointed that we will not be able to utilize this vendor as they came highly recommended to us and we felt extremely comfortable and confident that they would be able to help our day go off without a hitch. You can tell Craig is passionate about his business and ensuring he and his staff do everything they can for their customers. I recommend Black Tie Productions to anyone who is able to host an event in the future!

On a scale of 1 to 10, Black Tie is an 11++++++
We have used Black Tie for multiple weddings. They are reliable, so easy to work with, and an expert in their field!!! They go above and beyond BIG TIME!!!! Even with Covid they worked with us, and even gave us money back for services we couldn't use due to Covid restrictions. They didn't have to do that. They did it because it's simply the kind thing to do! I've heard of many stories from friends where they were not treated as kindly by other companies! I've worked with Craig specifically and he is remarkable to work with... so available and responsive! We will definitely hire Black Tie again and will refer them at every chance!

Black Tie Productions has been absolutely wonderful throughout our entire wedding planning process, and rolling with the multitude of COVID changes and modifications that have been thrown our way. Working with Craig and his Event Heroes has been an absolute pleasure to say the least. Words cannot describe how professional, friendly, organized, and thoughtful they have been! If you contact them, they get back to you incredibly quickly, and are always polite, kind, and knowledgeable about their business and any questions you have. Also, they are extremely reasonable in price, compared to any of the other quality DJ and event services we looked into in all of Michigan basically. When you plan your event, it’s simple...go with Black Tie. You won’t regret it. We feel very lucky to have found them! Thank you so much for being so wonderful.

If you’re thinking about it - BOOK IT !!
Wow!! What an unexpected awesome addition to our wedding! Even without the props (due to COVID, understandably) our guests had a blast taking pics and using the filters. They were able to text themselves pics on the spot or print them out - and we got a copy of ALL the photos! It was so fun to look through them the day after (especially the pics of the guests enjoying the open bar ;) haha)
Craig was so incredible and a treat to work with. He even walked around our dance floor and took pictures for us at the end of the night! We had so much fun and would recommend black tie productions to anyone!! 10/10 - just book them, you will not regret it! Thank you all so so much!

Simply amazing! More than we could’ve envisioned
We fell into a situation with our wedding due to Covid and we lost our 9 piece band due to the circumstances. Trying to find a DJ at the last minute was very stressful and everyone was booked! Black Tie Productions had a cancellation and immediately reached out to let me know they were now available. I’m so glad they did! We weren’t sure how a DJ would turn out from our vision of the live band, but they over delivered! Tom was THE BEST! From the first time we met with him, things just clicked, and he was wonderful. It’s like we had known each other for years! He kept the party going, he was funny, and so professional and entertaining! From the beginning of the booking process with Craig to the best day of our lives with Tom, Black Tie Productions was perfect! You won’t regret booking them!!!!!!!!

Great services
The dj was awesome and spent the night making sure we were on time with everything. He also made sure the I had a drink the whole night. He was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Great experience!
Tomas was amazing! Best DJ I have seen at a wedding, he kept everyone on the dance floor and played songs everyone wanted to hear! Couldn’t have been a better experience, and he was so responsive and helpful prior to the wedding with planning. Very knowledgeable and professional, loved having him and definitely recommend to everyone!

Mike was very professional and on the ball. In addition to playing great music, he knew when things needed to be done and kept the show rolling.

We got married Sept 2020, and could not have asked for a better DJ to work with on our wedding day. Mike was amazing to work with leading up to our wedding. He arranged a meeting a few months prior where we were able to work with him to work on the timeline and picking out the perfect song for each moment on our special day. Chris provided his expert opinion which was so helpful in planning our big day. Throughout our wedding Mike did a great job playing music that kept the crowd dancing and having fun all night. He did a great job with announcing all of our wedding party and parents. Everyone kept complementing how great our wedding was and how much fun they had which is all thanks to unforgettable DJs

Fantastic!
From my first contact with them they were fantastic! Quick responses, phone calls instead of emails, and flexible beyond belief with covid causing all kinds of issues and unsure-ness. Their staff were amazing, running back and forth between the booth and the dance floor being sure to catch so many AMAZING memories for us. All of our guests were so excited and just said they rocked! They got so many wonderful pictures of important people that I will cherish forever ❤️ they were 1000% worth every penny!

The absolute best!
Our DJ was Tony and he was the best person we could've asked for. He asked us many times how we were doing to make sure everything was the way we wanted and it was absolutely perfect, we got many compliments on him. I recommend him 100 percent!

Jeremy and Black Tie Productions did a fantastic job. We had an outside wedding and were a little concerned about electricity but they showed up with the quietest generator on earth. Best wedding DJ I have ever experienced!

Tony was the best dj ! Everything I expected and more . He was professional and funny. Tony kept the party going and never stopped. I would choose him again and again.
