  Phenomenal!!

  There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Moira and Mia are!! They did the hair and makeup for my daughter in laws bridal party on September 5th 2020. Their professionalism is unsurpassed!! But what meant the most was their interaction with all the girls and moms... everyone of us were immediately comfortable with them! They had such a calming affect amidst the chaos of the morning/afternoon. The underlying comments from the girls was "I feel so beautiful and pampered!!'. Moira and Mia made sure every one of us felt so special! And everyone's hair and makeup looked as good at the end of the night as it did earlier that morning!! Such a huge pleasure to have had this mom and daughter 'beauty girls ' team as a part of the day!! I would give them a thousand star review... Ladies, if you want the best experience for your wedding day, then HIRE MOIRA AND MIA!!! You will NOT be disappointed!! Thank you both for the memory Moira and Mia!!

  Moira (hair) and Mia (makeup) are such a dynamic mother/daughter duo! Thank you, ladies, for your friendship and professionalism from start to finish! I can't tell you how much my bridal party and myself appreciated feeling like we had trusted friends in the room getting us glammed up on the big day. We did not feel rushed, and loved every minute of it!
  
  I always pictured myself with an retro 1940s look on my wedding day, and Moira understood and appreciated my vision- and in return, her artistry shined through!

  Amazing mother/ daughter duo!

  Moira and Mia are so wonderful! They are an amazing mother daughter team who drove an hour to arrive at 7am on the dot and zoomed through our hair and make-up. They brought one additional artist with them and we were done with six bridesmaids and my hair and make-up almost an hour ahead of schedule! They are so talented and were truly a joy to work with! I felt so beautiful all day!

  Great Team with Great Results

  Moira and her team were absolutely wonderful. They traveled out to my hotel for hair and makeup for the bridal party and mother of the bride. She was very professional and spent the extra time to make sure that everything was perfect.

  Over the moon happy!

  There are no words to describe how happy I am with Black Tie Beauty! From day one they made me feel comfortable and confident in their skills and abilities to meet all of my wedding day needs. My trial was perfect and Mia made sure that my makeup was exactly how I wanted it before leaving. I was provided with a wedding day itinerary, which made my plan for the day so much easier to make and took so much stress off my shoulders! My makeup the day of the wedding was even better than the trial and I received compliments at the end of the night stating that I "looked like I had just had my makeup done".   Absolutely wonderful!

  I recently had the pleasure of working with Moira and Mia for my wedding in April! They did an incredible job and made everyone look so wonderful (mother of the bride, 5 bridesmaids, mother of the groom, and me). Moira was so patient with me as I tried to figure out what I was comfortable with during my trial and when we figured it out (natural minimal look!) I felt like the best version of myself!

  Moira and Mia are great! They traveled to our hotel and made the smaller than expected space work to get us all ready on time! They also kept up with my bridal party and our loud antics throughout the morning of my wedding, which is an accomplishment in itself! They made us all feel beautiful and our hair and makeup stayed on all night - even through excessive dancing!

  Moira and her daughter were absolutely amazing! Our Indian wedding required lots of hair and makeup changes throughout the day for the bride and her family, and Moira and Mia were so cooperative and flexible. They worked with our time constraints and early morning requirements. Not to mention that they did a beautiful job with our hair and makeup. They made each and everyone of us look absolutely gorgeous and comfortable with the style. Lastly, they made the time spent for our hair and makeup so relaxing. Our wedding weekend was very hectic and busy, but they were so friendly and easy to talk to, they even calmed my mom’s nerves throughout the entire weekend. Moira and Mia are beautiful ladies inside and out and helped make our wedding absolutely perfect!

  Moira and her daughter Mia are the best! I miss them a lot!!! My wedding venue coordinator Gina from Hillbrook (They are the best venue and best coordinator!) recommended Moira to me. It was indeed the right recommendation. Hair and makeup was one of the most difficult parts of my wedding planning, because I don't do much to my hair and wear no makeup. I had no idea what my hair and makeup would be during the trial. Moira was sooo patient with me of trying different hair styles. I was also very concerned about the makeup because I am a Chinese. Normal American makeup doesn't fit me well. Moira was sooo patient and nice to communicate with me and did a second trial on makeup for me. It was such a pleasant experience with her. I was soooo tired and stressed in the morning of my wedding day because we just moved into the new house and family had arrived in the new house as well. But as soon as I saw Moira at Hillbrook, I felt so relax and comfortable. She turned my get ready morning into an enjoyable and relax morning. The most important thing is that both my hair and makeup turned out stunning! My mom is picky, but she loved my makeup and hair. I got so much compliment on my hair and makeup on my wedding! All my bridesmaid's hair and makeup were great! They look so beautiful in the photos that the guests took. I had to remove my makeup before I went to bed that night at 1:00 am, my makeup and hair still look perfect. I was too tired, just slept with my hair. The next morning, my hair still look good!! I kept it for the whole next day!!! I can't thank enough for a wonderful experience with Moira and Mia! You made me feel so beautiful, so me, so confident, and so happy on my big day!!!

  If I could give Moira and Mia of Black Tie Beauty 10 stars instead of 5, I would! Black Tie Beauty was recommended to me by my trusted hairstylist. From the very first phone call I had with Moira I felt comfortable and confident that my bridal party and I were in the best of hands. Moira answered all my questions, no matter how silly I thought they seemed, and invited me to her home for a "trial run" of different hair and make up options before the wedding day. She discussed hair extensions with me (something I had never done before) and ordered them for me to try! (I loved them!) On the day of my wedding, 4/7/18, Moira, and her amazing daughter Mia (also a talented stylist) came to my wedding venue made my bridesmaids and I feel like royalty! Moira and Mia brought all their supplies and got right to work. In addition to the bridesmaids, Mia attached floral crowns to all FIVE of my flower girls, which stayed perfectly in place for the whole evening. Moira is a calming presence and when my nerves started to flare up, she kept me cool and collected. She is an absolute, talented, professional, but beyond that-- a kind and lovely soul!   Mia did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for a wedding I was in. She gave me a very romantic updo and a very gorgeous gold toned smokey eye. I was completely blown away by her work and talent. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I am very confident that her and Moira will do their best to help give you an amazing experience on your special day.

  Mia did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for a wedding I was in. She gave me a very romantic updo and a very gorgeous gold toned smokey eye. I was completely blown away by her work and talent. I would highly recommend her to anyone.   I had the best experience with Black Tie Beauty over the weekend. Mia did my hair and makeup for an event I had and I was absolutely in love with my new look! She really listened to my vision that I described to her and combined it with her expertise to make me look like a rockstar. I felt gorgeous! From start to finish she was a real joy to work with.   Mia from Black Tie Beauty did a style on my hair for an event. She did a beautiful half up half down style with a rope braid and curls! It was amazing! I rarely like when people do my hair but Mia did a fantastic job! She is so talented! I would recommend her to all of my friends and I will be returning for future services!

  Moira came out to the woods of rural Ohio to do the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids for a renewal of vows in April. She did a wonderful job. She was able to manage four girls + a drop in and still got everyone looking spectacular. She was warm, welcoming, witty, and made the morning fly by! Highly recommended!
