  Amazing food and team!

  One word--DELICIOUS!! My husband and I hired Black Pearl for our wedding in April and it was the best decision! Our guests kept complimenting us on how good the food was. Katie and her team were easy to communicate with and very accommodating with our requests and menu preferences, Katie made it a breeze! I need to plan another event so I can hire them again. The staff were polite and professional during the event as well. Our only regret was that we didn't get the chance to stop from dancing and eat more. We highly recommend Black Pearl for your event!

  Best Wedding Food Ever

  I am SO very late to writing this review (sorry!!)-- but it has been haunting me to do so, because Katie + Walker deserve all the words of kindness.
  
  My original wedding date was cancelled a month prior to the event due to COVID. We subsequently had to navigate through 3 more postponements because of the pandemic. Katie + Walker were kind and helped us through the process of cancelling and rebooking multiple dates with grace as we were stressed out basket cases-- and we truly appreciate it!
  
  We knew we were going to book Black Pearl after our trial tasting because their food was so elevated and delicious-- and we are so glad we did. They were super easy and professional to work with in building the menu, they helped to guide us through what would work best.
  
  Everything turned out beyond amazing the day of the wedding. Our friends and family still rave about the spread and tell us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The Oyster Bar was a really big hit.

  Black pearl forever!

  I cannot say enough good things about Black Pearl. Our guests are still talking about the food and raving over cocktail hour and the attention to detail they paid to make everything perfect. I am REALLY big on sentimental, well thought out details and Black Pearl did such an incredible job making my Pinterest board come to life! The food was incredible (people are still texting me sporadically saying they're thinking about the boudin egg rolls), the staff was so kind, and Katie was so great to work with and made my vision come to life. It was better than I could have hoped or planned for, especially in light of Covid. I am really picky and hate "wedding food" (I am the most judgy wedding guest of all time my now husband says) and it was paramount to me that our food feel more like dining out in a nice restaurant than eating dry chicken in a banquet hall. I cannot stress enough how fantastic our catering was from the flatware to the napkins to the smoked drum croustades. I love love love Black Pearl! 1000/10 would hire again.

  Talk of the town

  The food was a hit! When we started planning out wedding, we knew food was our top priority. My wife is of Chinese heritage and wanted to make sure that our food would be appealing to her side of the family. We decided to go for an Asian-Cajun fusion theme for the wedding, and Walker hit it out of the park. It captured a great deal of traditional flavors while still preserving that essence of Cajun food that is authentic to New Orleans. They were very easy to work and very open to any and all feedback during our tasting session.

  Excellent, Refined Cuisine

  All of our guests are still talking about the food from our wedding months later. We chose Black Pearl based on a referral and we’re blown away by their quality of food, service, attention to detail and especially the creative dishes they prepare. We did not want “New Orleans” food at our wedding and Black Pearl really brought an elevated sophistication to the food at our wedding. We are so happy we took the recommendation to book them, they were fantastic.
