Rain or sunshine, go with Black & Hue!

Don't think twice and book Bryan & Kelly as your photographers. You can see from their portfolio how impressively talented they are. They are lovely people to work with as well - they had us laughing through the entire event, which was on a hot and rainy day. You would think picture opportunities would be ruined by the weather, but with their knowledge of posing, lighting, and framing they used the rain to their advantage to capture stunning moments. They are the best!

Can not recommend them enough!

They were our first call when finding vendors and I can’t recommend them enough. Their creative, beautifully unique photos pretty much speak for themselves but for us it goes far beyond that. Bryan and Kelly kept me sane on our wedding day. I’ll spare the details but our wedding weekend was a bit chaotic and when Bryan and Kelly arrived, my stress level immediately went down. They have a way of making everyone more comfortable, like they’re friends you’ve known forever even if it’s your first time working with them. They were flexible about travel when we planned, cancelled, and planned another wedding during the pandemic. One of my favorite things about our pictures, they captured moments I didn’t even know happened but meant so much, like my dad wiping down tables and chairs after it rained. I could go on forever about why and how much we love them, we will definitely hire them very often for the rest of our lives.

Best Experience We Could Have Asked For

We absolutely adore Black & Hue. From the initial communication to the delivery of the gallery, everything was perfect. Bryan was very responsive and thorough throughout the entire process. He actually showed up to the venue early to make sure he could scope out the best spots for us. He is so kind, respectful, and unbelievably talented. He delivered our gallery early, and my jaw dropped when I saw the photos. We had tears of joy and chills looking back at how he captured our wedding day. The way he was able to capture raw emotion was astounding. We will absolutely cherish these photos for the rest of our life. People keep telling us they belong in a magazine, and we agree! Thank you for the best gift Black and Hue!

Amazing in Every Way!!

Black & Hue was the first vendor I hired because I was so in love with their work - what I didn't know was how much we would also come to love Bryan and Kelly as well! While their beautiful photography can speak for itself, I am here to say that they were SO great to work with and made pictures fun and relaxed for everyone involved. From our initial interactions with them to our final wedding photo delivery, they were so kind, responsive, professional and FUN to work with. On our wedding day, Bryan and Kelly's easy-going attitudes and relaxing presence allowed us to feel at ease and genuinely enjoy the excitement around us. Our entire family and wedding party commented on how great both Bryan and Kelly were and how smooth photos went - a huge feat considering the size of our wedding party and our family! No one better than Black and Hue!

Bryan and Kelly have a magical way of making you feel like they've been your best friends for your whole life. We knew we wanted Black & Hue for our wedding prior to shooting our engagement photos with Bryan, and it was a done deal after our engagement session with him. They both have such a unique eye, and the results are absolutely incredible. We love that our photos are and will be equal parts timeless, artistic, and true to our emotions in that moment. Bonus points because both Bryan and Kelly made sure my champagne glass was full all night!! We can't wait for them to capture more of the beautiful moments yet to be experienced.

The Best Wedding Photographers Ever!

Where do I even begin?! I first met Bryan and his wife, Kelly back in 2013 when they photographed my friend’s wedding in Sarasota and I knew right away that if I ever got married, I would hire them to be my photographers. Not only are they incredibly creative and talented, but they are also really fun to be around, and genuinely good people.

When I got engaged this past March, I reached out to them as soon as we determined our wedding plans, and I was so excited to hear they were willing to travel. I actually ended up picking my wedding date based upon their schedule! We opted for a small City Hall wedding in New York City, followed by an intimate dinner with our immediate families, and an after-party with our close friends. Since it was such a small affair, we only hired photographer vs. two, so it was Bryan who was with us on our special day.

Bryan had some great ideas that I hadn’t even thought of… he suggested having our “first look” in our Brooklyn apartment where we felt so comfortable and at home (literally). These photos are some of my favorites. At City Hall, Bryan took advantage of our 2-hour wait and somehow found the prettiest corners and nooks to take solo photos of me and my husband. From there we took family photos and then bounced around Manhattan and Brooklyn taking artsy photos, all at the direction of Bryan.

When we got to our dinner venue, we had to pass through this pretty little courtyard to get to the event space behind the main restaurant and Bryan suggested we have our first dance there… we put on some tunes and had our first dance, while Bryan snapped away, and that was by far my most favorite memory of the entire day. That wouldn’t have happened without Bryan.

I really can’t say enough good things about him. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease the entire day. My husband, admittedly, wasn’t too excited about taking so many photos, but even he said it was really fun with Bryan leading the way. I highly recommend Bryan (and Kelly). Although I only had the pleasure of shooting with Bryan, several other friends and acquaintances of mine have hired Bryan and Kelly to photograph their weddings and/or family photos, and like me, they have nothing but wonderful things to say about them, and their work speaks for itself. I am so incredibly happy with how our photos turned out and will cherish them forever.

Wonderful people & amazingly talented photographers!

Bryan and Kelly are two of our favorite humans. They shot a family member's wedding a couple years ago and when researching photographers for our own, no one came close. Unfortunately, shortly before our wedding they had a family emergency and only one of them were able to make it. However, they found a perfect replacement shooter who didn’t miss a beat in capturing our weekend and we were blown away by every single photo we got back. They’re an extremely talented team with an artistic eye and an energy that instantly makes you feel as though you’ve known them forever. They have a unique ability to not only capture beautiful photos but also capture the story behind the images too. We are beyond happy we chose Black & Hue as our wedding photographers and highly recommend them to any couple getting married!

Vibrant & excellent!!

My husband and I completely adore and love Black & Hue! They are extremely gifted in photography, as well as many other attributes that are not easily found in photographers! They encourage you, are observant of your needs, and give easy direction to make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. They are very good at staying on track with the wedding day timeline, as well as taking family pictures very efficiently. They always make themselves available to you throughout your planning process and offer any advice. They helped me so much to create a timeline that lined up perfectly with the venue's natural lighting. They are VERY CREATIVE! Seriously, it's incredible. They are willing to adventure and adapt to get the perfect shot that you've always dreamed of. They are great communicators and make you feel like you've been friends for years! They are extremely experienced, which also makes them extremely trustworthy to capture all of your special moments throughout your wedding day. Black & Hue are amazing!!

Black & Hue was incredible to work with!! In addition to being talented photographers, Bryan and Matt were so fun to get to know! They made me, my husband, and our bridal party feel so relaxed. The best! A dream to work with and so happy with the final photos!

Fantastic photographers

We can't stop looking at the photographs! Their eye for detail ranging from scenery to intimate moments leaves a person speechless. Stop it right there

JUST STOP. Go to their website and LOOK at their photography. Ok fine, you’re still reading? You may or may not be a runway model, but Bryan and Kelly will make you look and feel like one. Listen, whatever the event you are having photographed will go by in the BLINK of an eye and what will you have left of that day? PHOTOS. Yeah, you’ll have the memories, but when you go back and look at your photos, you’ll remember stuff you forgot about and allllll the happy memories will come flooding back in (cue the laughter and the tears). You NEED Black & Hue, you NEED Bryan and Kelly. They’ve photographed people from ALL over the world (and not just at our wedding) but seriously, they can mold and shape shift into any style you wish. GO LOOK AT THEIR PHOTOS. However, my advice would be to let them help you with those decisions - they’re the professionals after all. And by professionals, I mean the most phenomenal, creative, inspiring, and GENUINE photographers and people you will ever meet. Working with these two magicians was one of the BEST decisions we made regarding our big day (and we were lucky enough to be surrounded by lots of awesome vendors) and we will FOREVER be grateful to them. We are OBSESSED with our photos. Personally, I feel awkward in front of a camera, meanwhile my husband is like a damn Calvin Klein Model (rolls eyes) but Bryan and Kelly made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and I actually had SO MUCH FUN. So, although their photos are absolute perfection, don’t be intimidated - they’ll help you along and encourage you the entire way. These people are the damn greatest and you’ll consider yourself BLESSED to work with them. These are your people, these are your lasting memories, and Black & Hue will capture it all in the most magnificent way. Now, just go look at their stellar work. You’ll be glad you did. Fun and awesome photos!

These two are a DREAM to work with! If you ever have the chance to you should absolutely take it. We used them for our engagement photos and our wedding day and they did not disappoint! I don’t even know how they got some of the shots they did but they captured our personalities and our day perfectly. I had dreamt of shooting with them since college and they exceeded any expectations I had! They make you feel super natural and comfortable the entire time, which is huge if you’re super awkward in front of a camera like we both were. They communicate quickly with you and work really well on the day of to meet the timeline you’ve made. Captured Every Emotion, Perfectly

Before Ryan and I even set a date, I reached out to Black and Hue to make sure they had our possible dates open. My mind was set on Bryan and Kelly from when we first met five years ago. Their chemistry, not only with one another, but with the people they interact with was contagious and inspiring and I knew they would be the perfect fit for our wedding day.
We cannot begin to explain the emotions and feelings they are able to capture; the only word suitable is “perfection”. They go above and behind with their creativity which allows you to feel unique and special, exactly what your wedding day should be. They were able to capture every smile, every glance, every emotion that we feel as if we’re reliving the best day of our lives. Being the bride and groom, we weren’t able to be present in every moment with every guest, however looking through our photographs, we truly feel as if we were.
Bryan was able to organize our larger than life wedding party and make us all feel relaxed and comfortable. Their photos can attest to that, as each one is more perfect than the last.
Every time we look at our photographs, we can’t help but smile. Our hearts are so full, so happy. We couldn’t imagine our special day without Black and Hue, we are forever grateful.

Professional, talented, & down to earth!

Bryan & his team were AMAZING! As a Wedding Planner, I work with a lot of photographers, & I can tell you, Black & Hue Photography is really doing it right! Bryan was willing to hop on a call with me about 3 months before our couple's wedding to talk through a few logistics & preferences..this is nearly unheard of. I was so grateful for his openness & enthusiasm in collaborating with me, which in turn created a timeline that both of us were comfortable with & provided the best experience for our couple. Incredible people and talent.

My experience with Black & Hue photography was phenomenal. Bryan and Kelly are a dynamic, talented duo, who being married themselves, appreciate and manage the desires (and stress) that surround a wedding.

Simply put, Bryan and Kelly are incredibly talented and you will not be disappointed by the range of their talent and creativity. Their work is more than glamourous staged and predictable photos; it’s art. They place an emphasis on identifying unique locations, lighting, and angles that create both interesting and timeless shots. It results in the sort of photogrpahy you can blow-up and display in your living room in a non-narcissistic way, which is exactly what I wanted. With that said, Black & Hue is also very conscious about capturing traditional portrait shots with your family, friends, and, guests, and even go as far as to request a list of must-have groupings before your big day so that you aren’t wasting time scrambling to remember to include and find your mom’s cousin.

Not only do Bryan and Kelly excel at what they do, they are supportive and kind professionals. I used Black & Hue for my engagement and wedding, and on both occasions, Bryan and Kelly offered encouragement from beginning to end. I definitely considered myself one of those brides who is slightly awkward in front of the camera, but Bryan and Kelly offer easy guidance (and even demonstrations!) on how to appear relaxed and model-esque. We were shocked by the results when we received our photos. Further, despite the numerous weddings Bryan and Kelly have shot, they still maintain the ability to make you feel like your day is genuinely the most important day; your bride tribe is the most beautiful; and your party is the most fun, which really elevates your experience.

I had multiple positive remarks from my family, friends, and guests regarding Bryan and Kelly’s kindness, professionalism, and ability to capture our romantic, private day in an up close and personal manner (while simultaneously managing being unobtrusive and blending into the background).

It was an absolutely pleasure working with Black & Hue. I will continue to use them for any future photography needs, and will always recommend them without hesitation as they are - hands down - the photographers any wedding/event/family deserves!

Amazing, magical, artistic photos!

if you are lucky enough to get Black & Hue to photograph your wedding, you have hit the jackpot. We found them on Instagram, with no referrals other than these online. I didn't fully realize how important those photos would be until you go through your wedding day in a foggy haze of joy... and a few days later, you can't remember this or that. These photos that Bryan took are absolutely everything to us. From the moment we first spoke to Bryan we trusted him, and he absolutely delivered tenfold. He was beloved by our guests (seriously, everyone has told us), he made our pictures art, and made us feel at ease from the first moment. Dreamy&unforgettable

I was engaged for over two years and really wanted to take my time finding photographers that i LOVED. I came across Black&Hue after months and months of looking and immediately knew i wanted them to be apart of my wedding. Kelly and Bryan were more than just my photographers, i felt like they were my friends by the end of my wedding and that’s something truely special. They made us comfortable, laugh, and Kelly is a baby whisperer. When i got my photos back i was in absolute awe. There are no words how beautiful i feel looking back at them and they captured Jeremy and I as a couple better than i had ever imagined. Most of my friends even mentioned how smoothly they coordinated our pictures compared to other photographers that they had been around in the past and that’s important on your wedding day. I don't even know how to describe how happy I was to have Black and Hue Photography with me on my wedding day. They completely exceeded all my expectations and I never knew I could be this happy with my wedding pictures. Bryan was so professional throughout the entire process but also felt like a friend. He answered all my phone calls, gave me advice, came up with new creative ideas, and supported my vision the entire time.

On my wedding day a tornado hit the beach and plans had to be changed quickly. Bryan had already found new spots and made me feel so calm- I don’t even remember being stressed. We had a huge family that needed to get photographed in the RAIN. Bryan made this process so smooth, easy, and actually fun! His creativity and artistic side was displayed in all of our pictures.

So many friends and family members told me how much they enjoyed Bryan and Dillon and kept saying they “wanted to be friends with the photographers”. They truly felt like friends and fit right in with the wedding.

After the wedding I got COUNTLESS questions and compliments on my pictures. Everyone in Texas was blown away with the talent of Black and Hue Photography.

I recommend Black and Hue to EVERYONE! They captured all of our feelings, joys, and greatest moments of the day! I will be forever grateful to Black and Hue for doing the absolute best job!

Picking Black and Hue to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding process. Not only did they capture our day perfectly but they were so much fun to work with! We had to change our ceremony location last minute due to weather and Bryan and Kelly were the main reason I didn't panic. They assured me that they would still get amazing pictures and everything would turn out perfectly! Picking fun and energetic photographers is SO important because you spend a great deal of time with them throughout the day. Bryan and Kelly (Black & Hue) are a married couple, and they bring their own love and playfulness to their business, all while keeping things right on schedule with professionalism and over-the-top service.

They had shot my brother’s wedding a few years before, and we were so excited to find out they were available on our wedding day too.

The care and attention they gave us felt entirely personalized and tailored for our specific wavelength. In our phone meetings leading up to the ceremony they got to know us as individuals and as a couple, and even lent their experience to help us figure out the timeline of the day and the details of the ceremony itself.

On the wedding day Bryan and Kelly worked as a team, making sure everybody was where they needed to be at the right time, but always with a gentle, joyful manner and lots of laughter. Kelly hung out with the ladies while they were getting ready, and Bryan set up in the guys’ room. They made everybody feel at ease and excited.

Throughout the day they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed at all times, even bringing us drinks during dinner so we wouldn’t have to get up from our seats.

The photo sessions before the ceremony were very well organized, and we managed to get dozens of renaissance painting-level photographs of our 20-person wedding party in just a few minutes. After the ceremony they gave us a minute to collect ourselves before taking us around the grounds and doing all sorts of fun and inventive poses, backgrounds, and action shots with us.

Bryan and Kelly are both true artists, and the photos they captured, both candid and posed, showcased the breadth of their creativity. We were so overjoyed with how everything turned out. Their photos, which we will cherish forever and pass on to our grandchildren, managed to distill the full range of moments and feelings of our wedding day with vivid, tasteful, playful, loving clarity.

Bryan and Kelly were absolutely wonderful to work with! They made us feel so comfortable, and we truly enjoyed working with them. My husband and I were so lucky to have them photograph both our engagement session and our wedding day. Our pictures from our wedding day just came in and they surpassed any expectations we had. We got married in December and were blessed to have Black and Hue as our photographers. They previously did an amazing job on my husband's (then boyfriend's) surprise proposal. I had to have them do our wedding photographs too after how well the proposal photos turned out. Trust me, they did not disappoint. They have such classy photographs and such a good eye. Many of the photos looked like they were from a magazine. They are incredibly personable and fun to work with and be around. We will definitely use them again in the future! I used black and hue for my wedding photographers this past November and this was the 3rd time I have used them. They did my graduation pictures, and our engagement pictures too. They seriously get better every time idk how it’s possible but they do!! You will never be disappointed. I moved to Arizona after graduation and they traveled out here from Florida. They will travel anywhere you are! They capture every little detail, moment, reaction and you don’t even know they are there! They blend in with the crowd but are also like your best friends!! So easy to get along with and don’t make you feel awkward - that’s why I keep using them!! They make you laugh and really laugh not fake laugh haha. Easily the coolest photographers around. We are so thrilled that Bryan was able to photograph our elopement in Napa, CA. I started with a recommendation from my best friend, so I had seen some of their work before, which was flawless. Bryan has a great personality and this ability to make everyone feel comfortable. I recommend him for anyone that is nervous, hates getting their picture taken, or just likes to surround themselves with great energy. It was not my wedding but my son's and I was the best man. I have been involved with many weddings and this the best experiences I have had with a photographer. Everyone from Bryan to all of his staff they were very professional and kind and patient. Getting the pictures that were requested and the groups together was very quick and organized. It never seemed rushed but looking at the pictures they were everywhere. The settings they put the couple in and the groups in were well thought out and seemed to be very natural. The pictures came out exceptionally well. I would defiantly recommend them.

We totally fell in love with Black and Hue. We cannot say enough about how thankful we are that we went with them for our wedding photos. I have nothing but PRAISE for Brian and Kelly! These two are the most amazing and talented photographers. More than that, they are awesome people. They are the kind of people you want around you on your wedding day: calm, light-hearted, creative, and funny! My husband and I are so glad we chose Black and Hue as our photographers. They are worth every penny. They customized a 'wedding package' of exactly what we wanted to fit our photography needs for our wedding day. If you're worried about how your photos will turn out, hiring both Kelly and Brian is the best solution out there. Having both of them photograph our wedding was awesome. They had such wonderful and creative ideas. Brian and Kelly (as a married couple themselves) were able to show us examples of "poses" with each other to give us variety in our pictures. At the same time, my husband and I didn't feel posed at all. Number 1 in Tallahassee/North Florida for a reason! Wow. Black & Hue far surpassed my expectations. They captured my wedding beautifully...putting all the emotion and awe of the day in print to remember always. Their creative eye made it where our pictures can actually hang in our home and not just keep in a book on the coffee table because of how they captured even the surroundings so perfectly. From our engagement shoot to the wedding day, they were great to work with and were so humble, you would never have known they were named the best by their attitude. On my wedding day, tornado warnings and a huge rain storm came through...totally stressed me out as I had wanted outside pictures...Bryan and his wife, Kelly, put me at ease and came up with a plan! We got amazing indoor pictures and then still got my outdoor ones later once the skies cleared. They made my dreams and vision happen! I couldn't have asked for more. Having been in 16 wedding before my own, I knew that photography is where to not skimp price wise. B & H was worth every penny!! ***I also hired their videographer too. He was awesome! Our short 3.5 minute "movie" is one we watch over and over. One of my friends suggested I look at Black and Hue's Photographs before choosing our photographer for our wedding, and I fell in love with their style. Bryan and Kelly are very approachable and responsive, and made us feel completely at ease even when we had no plans or ideas for what our wedding would be like when we met them 14 months before our date. Not only are the pictures gorgeous--they were able to make the two of us--the most nonphotogenic people-- comfortable in front of the camera. I probably spent a bit more than I would have with another photographer, but it was worth it. I chose the package with two photographers, I love seeing the same moments from different directions, and things that were going on in two different areas at the same time. The one thing that I appreciate the most though, is that even though we did not hire them for our engagement photos had therefore had not worked with them before, they understood the important moments, the important people, the little details, and captured the whole day and the shots that I did not know I wanted. I would recommend Black and Hue to anyone.

Bryan was fantastic! We needed a few specific needs on a short time frame and Black and Hue came through. They were communicative and professional throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, Bryan made us (and the rest of the party) feel at ease. He was very quick and during the ceremony very inconspicuous. Full-disclosure, I'm almost a year late to the review party. Here's the great thing about that though... when I tell you that Bryan and Kelly of Black & Hue offer a genuine service that goes far beyond what you would expect from a photographer - you know I mean it. I'm not writing this having just received my (unspeakably incredible) photos, or still coming down off of the "wedding high" (even though I admittedly kind of am!)... I am writing this nearly a year later still treasuring the process, still praising their talents, and still considering them my friends.

Bryan and Kelly are an unstoppable creative duo who will intentionally create a bond that gives them the ability to capture those moments that mean the most. They didn't miss a thing. There are moments they immortalized that when I looked at the photos I thought, "how did they know to photograph that? I thought I was the only person who noticed that happening (or them dancing together, or those old friends reuniting). They just know.

You want someone who "just knows". Looking back I realize booking Black and Hue was the first decision I made during our engagement season. I am so deeply appreciative of that, because Bryan and Kelly became a constant for my husband and I - something we desperately needed during such a transformational time in our lives. They are excitable, kind, FUNNY, and endearing and they will surpass every expectation.

Black & Hue are the best! We had Kelly & Bryan come in to Miami to photograph our wedding and couldn't be happier. They were super reliable and professional but at the same time made us feel like we've known them forever! They both made our wedding day very stress free and just had fun with us and taking our pictures.

The day after our wedding we woke up to some sneak peaks of the photos and the following day they had an album up of some of our favorites, they work so fast!! The pictures are flawless and more than we had hoped for.

I highly recommend them for all other photography needs as well (engagement, family, newborn etc.). They are easy to communicate with, very flexible, and amazingly fast at getting you your photos! Black & Hue was the very first vendor we signed when we started planning. Having worked in wedding publications for years, I've seen a lot of pretty pictures, but to me Black & Hue's work is something completely different. Their product speaks for itself --- it's breathtaking and fresh and something I just really haven't seen anywhere else. But what you don't see from the gorgeous images on their site is how amazing this team is to work with. They're professionals every step of the way.

When they came into our bridal suite to snag the getting ready shots, all four of my bridesmaids commented on how sweet they were -- and how comfortable they made them feel. Throughout the day the pair coordinated with friends and family when they needed to, and were flies on the wall when they were after candids. We also used the videographer they recommended, and we're so glad we did!

I get chills every time I look at our wedding pictures! The photos Black & Hue Photography took for us are treasures we'll love for the rest of our lives. If you're thinking about signing them -- don't hesitate.

Being a new mom is hard enough and then having to have your picture taken when you are not feeling your best but you want to document your precious new gift can be very stressful! But Bryan and Kelly are amazing and are more like your friends than photographers. They made me so comfortable in my "new mom" skin. Even my husband doesn't mind having his picture taken, which is huge! Lol! I can not think of a better duo to help capture the precious memories of our babies! Love Black and Hue Photography!!!

I LOVE Black and Hue! They did our engagement photos, and we wish they could've done our wedding too (they were already booked on our wedding day--our fault for not booking soon enough!) They were very responsive in scheduling, and VERY quick in editing our photos. We were very happy with the turnaround time!
Bryan and Kelly are so much fun to work with. I typically feel really awkward being photographed, but they gave us direction and made us feel really comfortable. Our engagement photos came out exactly like we envisioned, not cheesy and posed-but very natural. Our photos came out so great that we have more of our engagement photos framed around our house than our actual wedding photos! We can't wait for them to do our family portraits too! We recommend them to everyone we know!

Bryan and Kelly are totally amazing! The entire bridal party and family had such a blast working with them. Booking Black and Hue was the first decision we made after getting engaged. We knew right away we would be so lucky to have them capture these moments. As a couple who had never been professionally photographed and didn't feel super comfortable about it, Black and Hue went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, help us let go, and really have fun. We found blackandhuephotography.com when we were searching for photographers for our engagement shoot. Anyone who has tried to do this before, knows what a daunting task this can be. After browsing hundreds of photographer websites, I came upon Black & Hue's stunning photographs. What we found most attractive about their photos is that they capture the couples beauty and love in different and stunning ways.
My fiance and I knew that Black & Hue were the photographers that would be able to capture our love in an earnest way. They were very accommodating in our booking since we're from New Jersey, as we decided to have both our engagement photos and wedding portraits done in the northern Florida and Georgia areas. We are also an unconventional couple and we wanted someone who could capture our unique and personal styles. They were very warm and gracious to all the crazy ideas we had which included smoke bombs and alpacas.
Bryan and Kelly both have a beautiful and loving bond together which flows over into their photography. Not only were they able to capture our love on film, but, also the love of the spaces and settings around us.The portraits are creative, simply beautiful and elegant. Each standing alone as a work of art and are above and beyond just a photo.
After our engagement shoot, we decided to use them for our wedding portraits as well. We are looking forward to using Black and Hue in the future for all our important memory capturing moments!

By the end of a session, you realize that Bryan and Kelly are not just your photographers but your friends. Black and Hue Photography was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Hands Down.
It's important to note that my husband and I were paying for this portion of our wedding on our own, and in the beginning it was very hard to convince my husband that this was an "investment" and to not simply go with a friend who owns a good camera (I know some of you ladies out there, like me, are rolling your eyes as hard as you can at the very thought of that. I feel a fiery burning in my soul just thinking back to it) BUT! Thank goodness! Somehow (a pretty smile, a little begging and alot of wine) we came to an agreement. And we BOTH are so so so happy we did. Bryan did our engagement session and wedding and he was a complete joy! If anyone can not make you feel awkward kissing in front of a stranger, it is him! lol! I think our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard and it was SUCH a fun experience amidst all the wedding planning to just stop and have some FUN. That was enough for us, but when we got our photos back - oh my goodness. If you look at their website, or facebook feed you can see the artistry in every photo, but there's something just so much more special when you are the couple that is in the frame. The rest is just beautifully captured history - It may be a cliche, but our wedding was truly the most wonderful day of our lives and we couldn't imagine anyone else taking our photos but Black and Hue!

Dear Future Brides:

Excuse me while I gush, but I really can't say enough nice things about Black & Hue Photography. Bryan and Kelly Honhart are incredible artists and amazing people--we couldn't be happier with their photos. They'll make you look dang good without crazy filters or airbrushing, and at the end of the day you'll still look like "you." They also take beautiful (and fun) candid shots. If you're waffling, I highly recommend adding on an engagement shoot. It won't add much to your total, and if you're camera awkward like I am, they'll demonstrate how not to look like a bridge dweller when a lens is pointed your way!

The only tricky part will be deciding which photos to frame. :)

Do I even need to write this? Seriously these are the best people on the planet. I can't say it any other way. My pictures are the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen! Everyday people come up to me and tell me how gorgeous my photos are. Not only are they incredibly talented, they are some of the nicest people I have ever met! My husband and I felt so comfortable around them and they made it easy to act natural in our photos. My brother also told me later that he would see something interesting going on and think "I hope the photographers are catching this," and he would look around and there they were! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE BRYAN AND KELLY WITH BLACK & HUE!! Our pictures turned out absolutely amazing! We're a little biased, because my husband and I are friends of theirs from church, but we really don't think we could have found better photographers. They have a less traditional style, which we really liked. They take a good mix of the traditional photos and portraits, but they have a lot of more artsy, creative style photos that we are more excited about for larger frames on the walls of our home. They were also very helpful when it came to deciding where to get photos taken. We got a limo to take us to Kleman Plaza in between our ceremony and reception so we could get some outdoor photos, and we just walked around while they found beautiful, unique backgrounds that we never would have thought of! They did beautiful engagement photos for us as well and are so willing to work with whatever you want or have in mind, if there is anything specific you want to make sure you get. They're also SUPER fast at getting them finish. We were sharing links with our family and friends to view all the photos they took (which ended up at more than 400) within three weeks of our wedding!

WOW! Black & Hue was fantastic! They photographed our June wedding and we can't say enough nice things about them. They arrived early and somehow managed to be everywhere we were the whole night! Every time I thought, "I'd love to have a picture of this," I'd look around to find Bryan already snapping a candid shot. They were so much fun to work with, too. We loved that they captured the personalities of us and each of our guests. Super laid back and very talented! I would recommend Black & Hue to anyone!

Black & Hue is an amazing team, and can make even those that feel "awkward" in photographs feel right at ease. They were extremely professional, but made the whole evening fun as well. They were ever present, but never intrusive, and blended in perfectly into the party to capture incredibly beautiful photos. Love B&HP!
