Kendra, Shaina and the entire team at Black Butte Ranch made our experience so incredible and absolutely unforgettable. The whole weekend, we felt right at home and so taken care of by everyone on the ranch. Kendra and Shaina have excellent communication skills and really helped us every step of the way with lots of planning and decisions. I cannot recommend Black Butte Ranch enough to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue. -

We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at Black Butte Ranch. Their staff was so hospitable to us and our party, we still hear positive remarks from our family and friends today. The space is gorgeous and modern. We really didn't need to worry about anything because they had everything there and followed the plan without a hitch. I am happy we booked the bridal suite as it made for a nice space to retreat to and store things as needed. I would highly recommend Black Butte. -

Black Butte Ranch was a dream location for my husband and I's intimate elopement ceremony (12 total attendees). I had the pleasure of working with Shaina from first touring the site to finally on the day of the wedding. She was so helpful and prompted me on things I didn't even think of such as breakfast and lunch for the bridal suite while we got ready. The package that BBR puts together makes the whole process of planning so easy and once our special day was finally here, all of the employees we interacted with were so kind and helpful. I would 100% have my wedding at Black Butte again. I wish I could relive that day because of how perfect it was. -

I have nothing but incredible things to say about Black Butte Ranch. As a wedding photographer in Oregon, I've worked at countless venues over the years and I can confidently say that this venue is an absolute dream come true for couples seeking a truly enchanting and memorable wedding experience.
The natural beauty of the cascades over the lake and horses running in the fields, combined with the stunning architecture of the property creates a dreamy atmosphere, resulting in photographs that are nothing short of magical. (even if the clouds cover the mountains)
The staff at Black Butte Ranch is incredibly professional, kind, and accommodating, ensuring that every wedding runs smoothly and effortlessly. Its clear that they understand the importance of attention to detail and go above and beyond to create a seamless experience for both the couple and the vendors. From the initial planning stages to the day of the wedding, their expertise and support are invaluable.
If you are a couple considering Black Butte Ranch as your wedding venue, I can confidently say that you will not regret it. -

WOW, what a team and a venue! 10/10 recommend
We are blown away by the experience dealing with the Black Butte Ranch team. They were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible from the beginning. The team, including Kendra and Shaina, are absolute rockstars. They are patient, flexible, and just all around great people. Also all of the service staff the day off (bartenders, servers, etc.) were amazing and very professional. The venues are all newly updated and state of the art level infrastructure with the most incredible views. Plus, the broader Black Butte Ranch infrastructure (pools, golf courses, biking / walking paths, kids playgrounds, etc.) are unbeatable. Black Butte is clearly the one of the best all in packages you could get in terms of a wedding venue and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. And as mentioned, you can't beat the team it comes along with! -

I cannot say enough about this venue and their amazing team. I was looking for somewhere with a water feature (lake/ocean) and I wanted to be surrounded by nature while still maintaining a modern feel. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find that combination until I ended up on a country-wide venue search, which ultimately led me to Oregon and Black Butte Ranch. I had never been to Oregon before but WOW. I was absolutely blown away when I first drove onto the ranch. This venue has it all: stunning fields, beautiful lakes, gorgeous snow-topped mountains, and a million activities for your guests to do. We planned a golf tournament, private mini golf session, pool party, welcome party and ,of course, our wedding all within a weekend. My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was and how much fun they were having.
Shaina was amazing during the initial venue search then I transitioned to Kendra once we booked it. Kendra was responsive to all of my emails and hopped on multiple phone calls with me to answer any long-winded questions I had. BBR also did my wedding cake, which came out exactly how I envisioned it. I met with the chef during our tasting and we came up with a customized buffet menu. They made it so easy, and also accommodated our vegan guests by providing personal meals delivered straight to their seat. Our bartenders were wonderful and the staff were all so sweet throughout our entire weekend there. I really cannot recommend this venue and their team enough. A+++, 10/10, 5 stars...the works! -

Best. Wedding. Ever.
There are no words to describe how perfect our experience was getting married at Black Butte Ranch. From the event coordinator, vendors, lodging, things to do... Black Butte Ranch had it all. We felt well taken care of every step of the way, which is not always the easiest living out of state! Kendra and Shaina from Black Butte Ranch were so helpful, organized, and communicative. We never had to worry with any detail, big or small. All of our families and friends have raved about how amazing the wedding venue and location was. We highly recommend to any bride and groom getting married to tie the knot at this 10/10 location! -

Exceeded Expectations
We explored many venues around Sisters and the surrounding area, and Black Butte Ranch was the perfect choice for us. Kendra and her team were super easy to work with, and she answered all our questions promptly. Our wedding day really went off without a hitch. Black Butte Ranch was a fantastic venue for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. We chose this location because Black Butte takes care of everything. It took all the stress out of wedding planning. Kendra and Shaina helped us through all the fine details. They took care of everything from linens to catering. The event space is beautiful and the service was amazing. This will be our anniversary spot every year. -

The entire team at BBR was outstanding from start to finish! We loved our site visit with Shaina and she made the sales and contracting process easy. Then, Kendra was extremely communicative throughout the entire planning process leading up to the wedding. She was a huge support in answering our questions and ensuring we had everything we needed for the day of the wedding. Then on the day of, the entire banquets team was extremely professional and attentive. They made sure us as the bride and groom were always cared for and all of our guests were having a good time.

My daughter's winter wedding at Black Butte Ranch was nothing short of magical. With 75 guests in attendance, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for celebration to remember.
The picturesque snow-covered landscapes and frosted trees created a stunning backdrop for the wedding photos. The ambiance was simply enchanting. There was even a group of otters who ran across the frozen lake.
Despite the cold weather outside, the venue exuded warmth and coziness and the lighting was one of my favorites. Our guests felt immediately welcomed and comfortable in the new event space because it has great flow and I was able to greet everyone as they arrived.
Black Butte Ranch offered a variety of spaces for different parts of our celebration. From a charming ceremony space to a spacious bridal suite, we had plenty of options to choose from for seating. Each area was meticulously maintained and there was even a secret door that opened up the amazing bar.
The staff at Black Butte Ranch went above and beyond to ensure that the wedding day ran smoothly. From the initial planning stages to the day-of coordination, they were attentive to every detail and accommodating to our needs. Their professionalism and friendliness is something we keep talking about.
The catering provided by Black Butte Ranch was delicious and on point for many different tastes. Our guests raved about the quality and variety of the food, which was expertly prepared and beautifully presented.
Planning and paying for a wedding can be stressful, but the team at Black Butte Ranch made the process seamless and there were no surprises. They were responsive to our questions and concerns, offering helpful suggestions through the entire process.
Overall, the winter wedding at Black Butte Ranch exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to create their dream wedding experience. -

Our experience with our wedding at Black Butte Ranch was outstanding. It's the most beautiful venue with so many options for where the ceremony and photos can take place. We were told by numerous people that the food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding (and it was a buffet!). Our cake turned out just like our inspiration photos and was delicious. Kendra was very communicative, flexible, and accommodating to what we wanted. The price is very fair for what's included and the location; it was so convenient to have almost everything included and made wedding planning simple and enjoyable. Our guests had an amazing weekend at the property. I can't recommend this place enough! -

We had so much fun planning our dream wedding with Black Butte Ranch! From our initial venue walkthrough with Shaina to the amazing staff who made everything perfect the day of our wedding. They were so accommodating and everyone who we engaged with were so pleasant, and helpful. Not to mention the ceremony location was absolutely magical with the view of the Three Sisters behind the ceremony site.
The venue price included a day-of event coordinator, complimentary menu tasting, and ceremony rehearsal. Also included was all dinnerware, flatware, glassware, tables and chairs (including ceremony chairs!)
We would like to make a huge shoutout to Kendra for always being so helpful, and so quick to respond with any questions, concerns, or requests we had during our planning process. She truly made the whole experience wonderful.
We would absolutely recommend The Black Butte Ranch to any couple looking for a beautiful mountain scape wedding venue. -

We loved the intimate ceremony package! Kendra was responsive, informative and flexible to help us have the most magical day. We had some uncooperative weather and were able to wait until the last minute to stay outside or not. We ended up doing the ceremony with a little rain but it made the pictures turn out more amazing! We wish we could get married here every year :) I also added the bridal room which was incredible for a small group of women to get ready, be accessible to vendors and have a view of the horses/ceremony site. After the ceremony we moved inside to the event space to sign our marriage license and the space is beautiful as well. You can’t go wrong! -

We decided on Black Butte Ranch due to various reasons including the new Hacker architecture lodge, husband's family trip as a child, and our love for Central Oregon & the Pacific Northwest. Our guest list included only immediate family members (30 including 5 small children) and we were looking for a location with a beautiful setting and plenty of activities for those traveling in from California. The intimate wedding package was perfect for our needs with a small upgrade to include the bridal suite.
We initially communicated with Shaina and confirmed the date and selected the right package. The new lodge was in it's final stages of construction but the renderings were dreamy. My husband flew up to meet with Shaina and tour other venues in the area, but nothing compared the the picturesque BBR location. After everything was confirmed, we were introduced to Kendra. Kendra was communicative and flexible with many of our requests, even offering to repurpose flowers on the day of the event, play music at the ceremony, place name tags in accordance with the seating chart, and place menus. During the event, she had champagne and beer ready for us as we entered into cocktail hour and an hor d'oeuvre plate set aside. She was cheery, warm, and made sure everything looked beautiful and flowed seamlessly. I felt more relaxed than I thought was possible on your wedding day. The overall service was fabulous from the entire staff, especially the bartender working our event.
Highlights from the ceremony/reception:
-Location in front of Apen trees was absolutely gorgeous and provided a bit of shade on a sunny summer day.
-Plated dinners, appetizers, and cake were all delicious and extremely fresh. The chef at the lodge is very talented. We ordered halibut, rib eye, butternut squash risotto, spring salad, seasonal vegetable, and provided a vegetarian option of curried cauliflower steak. The guests loved everything, especially the bread and butter served to start.
-The reception space inside the lodge was absolutely jaw-dropping with floor the ceiling windows capturing a spectacular view. The layout worked perfectly with a dance floor, built-in bar, spot for our DJ and large deck outside. They even had a fire pit with seating.
-The Bridal suite was modern, spacious and comfortable with a steamer, plenty of full length mirrors and plenty of natural light coming through. Only drawback is not having access to the suite until 12pm. However, we made it work.
I would suggest booking lodging right away if you're planning a wedding in the summer. It was very hard to find lodging 5-6 months out. We rented a couple large Airbnb houses for family traveling from out of town and a BBR condo near the lodge for us. It was a heatwave during our wedding week, except our wedding day (thankfully), so it was nice to have AC. Some places don't include AC so we avoided those. The Black Butte Ranch community in Sisters has so much to offer including, bike rentals, horseback riding, hiking, lake activities, pools, spas, etc.
I loved every vendor I worked with! Our photographers, The Image is Found (husband and wife duo) are talented artists and were not only warm and easy to work with but captured the most beautiful candid moments. Check out their website and Instagram! Their blk and white photos are amazing.
Our florist, Petals, Flowers by Katie (recommended by BBR) was phenomenal as well. She was communicative, so fun to work with, and exceeded expectations with her work. I received so many compliments about the flowers.
Cassidy Elise Artistry did a great job and making us all feel comfortable and look beautiful. My makeup in photos turned out great and my hair withstood most of windy day.
Curated Event Rentals provided the chairs for the reception and linens. They were easy to work with and the chairs were in good condition.
CVU Event DJ's based out of Eugene were extremely easy to work with and accommodating to my requests to be less conventional. I shared my Spotify lists with them; however, they do a good job at curating music if that's what you want. They have great energy and a cool vibe.

Beautiful Mountain Wedding
Our wedding day was beautiful at Black Butte Ranch! The views were gorgeous at the ranch and it was probably one of the most beautiful settings to get married in Oregon. The sales director and coordinator went out of their way to make everything perfect for our big day. There were issues with the venue lodge getting remodeled on time but the sales director secured an amazing alternative site with mountain and lake views. They took care of all the last minute details with the venders and this was very appreciated. We could not of been happier with our experience at the ranch. -

One of a kind place
Black Butte Ranch, Bri, and her team made our day incredibly special. We were originally a pandemic wedding, but postponed a year. Several of our friends were in the same situation and almost all of them had horror stories about their venue - we had the opposite. Bri, Alicia, and the entire Black Butte team was understanding, flexible with the reschedule, and made our dream day come to life when it finally happened. All of this despite being understaffed. I really couldn't have asked for a better day or weekend - we love you BBR! -

Amazing Staff, Unbelievable Venue and Beautiful Venue
My husband and I can't stop talking about how wonderful of an experience we had at Black Butte Ranch. We have been planning our wedding since 2018 and they have absolutely been amazing throughout the process. Alicia, our on-site wedding coordinator, has been so amazingly helpful in so many ways, especially in regards to the COVID-19 situation (we were supposed to have our wedding in June 2020). She answered all of our questions and kept us informed every step of the way. Alicia (along with the rest of the staff) made us feel so welcome and we didn't feel uncomfortable in any way as a gay couple. Alicia went above and beyond for us several times and was able to accommodate all of our needs. The food was incredibly amazing and they were even able to accommodate some dishes for our Vegan guests. The wedding was beautiful and amazing. We were able to have a wedding set up the way we wanted it and we are so pleased with how everything worked out so well. My husband and I highly recommend Black Butte Ranch for weddings. Alicia and her team took very good care of us and we have no doubt that they would be able to do the same for you. We are so grateful to have had our wedding at the beautiful Black Butte Ranch venue and we look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you, Alicia and BBR staff! -

We had our wedding at BBR right on the tail end of COVID shut downs. There was a lot of uncertainty leading up to the date and Alicia and her team helped us SO MUCH. They were flexible, calm, and helped us create our vision even though it seemed like everything was working against us. BBR has such an amazing team of people and we couldn't have asked for more. Totally recommend this group (and beautiful place!!) to anyone planning a wedding.

We chose this venue primarily for the beautiful mountain backdrop. However, after experiencing everything they offer, I’m floored at how well they coordinated everything. The officiant was provided to us and she worked with us to customize our ceremony and calm our nerves beforehand. The provided day-of coordinator was there to keep us on schedule, get us drinks after the ceremony (we were SO ready for some champagne!), direct us on how to walk down the aisle, and was our DJ. This was such a big help to make the day go smoothly. It allowed me to actually enjoy my wedding, rather than dealing with timelines or coordinating things. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue. -

Perfect venue - best views and top notch service!
Excellent service, quality, incredible views, and truly a tailored experience. Price is very affordable for an intimate ceremony and reception dinner, which included so many of the little details; way less stressful!! Food and cake provided by venue was so delicious, we got a ton of compliments. The views speak for itself. Our day coordinator Alicia was outstanding; she ensured a smooth event and touched on all the details. Truly a gem! -

Awesome place
Alicia was great, we had a covid wedding and black butte kept us informed about how many guests we could have and gave us options of doing an outdoor wedding vs indoors. The wedding we had was beyond what I could have expected. The food was amazing and was easy to decorate because the views were outstanding. -

Perfect wedding
My husband and I decided to elope at Black Butte Ranch because our family has a house there and it is so beautiful. We are so glad that we did. It was so perfect and stress free. Huge thanks to Alicia our wedding coordinator. She was fantastic and helped with everything. She was in constant contact and answered all my questions.
kim, our officiant was so great! I instantly wondered how someone could do such a personal job without meeting us before hand but she did. We emailed back and forth and the ceremony was amazing. Seriously, everything that I could have imagined.

We booked a year ago for an August wedding. When the pandemic hit, the Ranch was extremely flexible with any changes. They were willing to scale our wedding to whatever size we needed and waited for a final headcount all the way up to a week before the wedding. We ended up having about half the size of our predicted wedding but everything went smoothly. They have an onsite bridal suite that you had access to for the whole day. It was super convenient with a private bathroom for your giant wedding dresses. They used common sense rules for social distancing and masks. There is a coordinator built into the cost and she helped through the entire process after the original booking.
The scenery could not have been more perfect and that sunset was incredible. It was incredibly hot in August but we brought barrel fans that helped quite a bit and the shade from the the Aspen tree setting was plenty for the ceremony.
We made this a destination wedding and brought family from all over the country. We all stayed pretty close together on the Ranch for a week and enjoyed the pools, bike paths, and hiking. All of my guests said they would be back just for a regular vacation as well!
I loved everything about our big day and will cherish the memories forever. -

Fairy tale wedding dreams come true at Black Butte Ranch!
My fiancé and I wanted to have our destination wedding ceremony in Oregon after getting engaged there during a business trip. We searched several venues in Central Oregon and Black Butte Ranch was the winner by far. The beauty of the venue is incredible and the price tag was affordable considering the value and benefits of everything included.
We were thrilled to learn that the venue came with a “day of coordinator”, Alicia. She was incredibly communicative and helpful as we worked to find vendors while being out of state. Alicia is super organized and we were grateful for her knowledge and expertise as we planned our wedding. Alicia never pushed us in any direction, but always gave her honest opinion when asked and supported us in all our goals no matter how crazy they may have seemed.
No stone went unturned and Alicia worked her incredible magic to make sure every detail was attended to and everyone had a great time (including us as the bride and groom). We had the pleasure of working with Michelle as well throughout the planning process and although our interaction was limited, her efforts and kindness did not go unnoticed. Both ladies genuinely care and want the best for every bride, groom and wedding. I am in awe of the incredible talent in every aspect of this remote and scenic location at Black Butte Ranch!
The food was incredible! My fiancé and I are foodies and having good food at our wedding was super important to us (another reason we chose this venue). Chef & team blew this one out of the water! Everyone RAVED about how great the food was! Several attendees specifically mentioned how much they enjoyed the bartender, Cort, for his kindness and knowledge of the area.
All of our ~40 ish attendees had a blast staying on the ranch. We were able to horseback ride, hike, swim and look at the stars over fire pits in the evening. Everyone was able to “choose their own adventure” and do things that appealed to them and their families on and around the ranch.
As our wedding date approached, COVID-19 began hitting the US and we had to stop planning everything and prepare for a possibility that we might need to change our wedding date. Alicia was incredible at keeping in touch with changes in Oregon and being flexible with every twist and turn. I have friends who were unable to reach their venues at all during the shutdown, but Alicia returned every email and initiated them (usually followed by a call to answer questions) with every change in the news and restrictions. A week before our wedding restrictions changed again and Alicia was on the ball ready to make adjustments to accommodate our wedding within protocols.
We are incredibly lucky and grateful we were able to have our intimate wedding on our planned date. We never planned for COVID prior to our wedding (obviously), but with the outdoor space and vast expanse of the venue, we were still able to have our fairytale wedding (while meeting every social distance/mask/COVID requirement for us, our guests and the venue). Alicia and the venue went to great effort and made several adjustments to make sure their staff and our attendees were safe while still enjoying a beautiful wedding & reception.
The day of the wedding Alicia kept us all on track and would silently appear, gently and patiently guiding us to our next timeline activity or even just bringing us food or a water to ensure we weren’t starving and dehydrated all day. She was absolutely the fairy godmother of this fairy tale! Being in front of the lake with the mountains and sunshine on our day felt like a Cinderella moment. I kept wanting to pinch myself to make sure it wasn’t a dream.
One of the groomsmen told us this was the best wedding he had EVER attended. A couple of our attendees said that we helped their families make memories at a place they never would have ventured or chosen, but each couldn’t wait to come back. I know the crazy looks we received when we told our invitees that we were venturing out of state to Black Butte Ranch, Oregon for our wedding for no other reason than we wanted to share the magic we found there with those we love. The joyful smiles and looks of awe on the face of our guests were proof enough that they had found the magic for themselves as well. There is a place... I wouldn’t change a single thing about our day and I owe it all to Alicia, Michelle, & the team at Black Butte Ranch. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location for ANY wedding!

Stunning location, outstanding service!
We were so pleased with our experience hosting our daughter's wedding reception at Black Butte Ranch. This was a last-minute decision due to COVID-19 restrictions, which had interrupted our original plans. Throughout the rather rushed booking and planning process, the staff was responsive, competent, and helpful. The service during the event was excellent, and the food, from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees, was outstanding. The outdoor setting, of course, was stunning. It would be hard to find a more beautiful place for a wedding celebration. -

Amazing winter wedding venue
We scheduled an elopement last minute and were treated like royalty. The venue, staff, food, and overall experience could not have been better. Elopement/Small Wedding
We decided to get married in September but wanted to have it done by the end of this year so I started planning right away. I love the three sisters mountain range so the Sisters area was where I wanted to have our ceremony so I started reaching out to different venues. Black Butte Ranch was at the top of my list for venues and they were available on one of the dates I had in mind. We only had 10 people in our entire wedding so our wedding was considered an elopement (and because we wanted to do it on a Thursday). Everyone from Black Butte was very helpful in helping decide what to do from the timing of the day to the food to the music. Throughout the couple month process, I made a few changes from our original call and they were very gracious in helping us. On the day of, I was able to relax and enjoy the day, and my sister helped facilitate the final details with the help of Alicia & Michelle. A couple hours before the ceremony I decided to move the ceremony to the trees (due to the cloud cover and not being able to see the mountains) and the gals did it all by themselves. It looked great when it was go time. My wedding day was perfect despite the weather. I think this place is one place that it doesn't matter what the weather is, it will be beautiful no matter what. I can't wait to see pictures. Thank you all and I would definitely recommend having your wedding here (big or small).

The venue is gorgeous with amazing panaromic views. My daughter fell in love with Black Butte Ranch as soon as she saw the gorgeous Sisters mountains. It was the perfect place for her wedding as many of the guest flew in from all over the US and were able to stay and play at BBR. Alicia our wedding coordinator was a pleasure to work with. She was efficient and so easy to work with. She advised us to rent a tent when thunder showers showed up in the forecast and worked seemlessly with the BBR staff to move tables and accommodate our guest. Once the rain cleared there was a gorgeous sunset that made for incredible photos. The chef out did himself with a yummy dinner of prime rib, salmon, raviolis and much more. Our guest raved about the food. We still have friends and family telling us this was the best wedding they have ever attended. Thank you Alicia and Black Butte Ranch for the most special day! -

My family has been coming to Black Butte Ranch since I was a baby, so a celebration at Black Butte felt a bit like a backyard wedding. Still, hosting an event at that scale can be intimidating, to say the least! Luckily, Black Butte made the process so smooth—the entire staff was wonderful to work with, and our coordinator (Alicia Boyd) was a calming + energizing presence throughout the whole process. She was extremely organized and patient with all of our requests, and everything came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined! Moreover, many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and the cake was AMAZING. Thank you, BBR, for a day we will never forget! -

Black Butte Ranch Michelle Caramagno / Esther Moore Wedding Specialist/Planner
Black Butte Ranch is a magical place. It was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. The location and views were amazing and the food and presentation was truly spectacular. There were so many people at the ranch that really helped with the process such as Brittany & Amanda. Plus I need to give special recognition to Michelle Caramagno the Event & Catering Sales Manager representing Black Butte Ranch. She was wonderful to work with, communicated well, and made sure we had the exceptional menu and presentation we had requested. She was also great at providing suggestions and really represented Black Butte Ranch so very well.
The single BEST decision we made was to hire Esther Moore as our personal Wedding Specialist/Planner. I don't know what we would have done without her. Esther was the glue that held everything together. Weddings are so complicated and she knew just what we needed to do. Esther provided written timelines and communication between ourself and the venue, vendors, our families and the bridal party. She also created payment schedules to be sure vendors were paid on time. She was organizing things I didn't even think about. As a result, everyone knew what to expect and what they were supposed to do for the whole weekend. And when the wedding day came, Esther was there all day making sure everything was set up just as we planned. I believe Esther has around 32 years experience in this industry. She commands such respect from everyone she works with. She allowed all of us to do nothing more than enjoy our special event. If you are planning a wedding the first call I would make is to Esther Moore. She is incredible!!! -

Black Butte Ranch was the venue of our DREAMS!!! We came out to the ranch to shoot our engagement photos and immediately fell in love with the view. Booking our wedding at BBR was the best decision we could’ve ever made! Michelle coordinated our wedding and made me feel completely at ease - she was incredibly professional, accommodating to our needs, and had everything under control on wedding day. BBR was incredibly flexible with our menu requests and we received so many compliments on the food! Our wedding was more than we ever could have dreamed of - great venue, great food, amazing views and the kindest staff!! 10/10 would recommend! -

Perfect Winter Wedding!
We loved our winter wedding at Black Butte! I booked a spa day with my friends who all felt like they had had some of the best treatments they'd ever had. My friends and family were impressed with how responsive, professional, and friendly all of the staff were - from the bar to the management. The wedding coordinator was kind, flexible, and very easy to work with - looking to accommodate exactly what we were looking for. My friends and even my Mom had said it was one of the most relaxing weddings they had been to - with the cozy lodging and having everything available right there. Also, having a winter wedding is full of incentives to keep costs down, and we had the most beautiful, snowy, wintry day. I couldn't recommend Black Butte enough! -

I was in contact frequently with Emily and there were multiple emails going back and forth over many months. I dont know how she managed to respond so quickly and keep everything straight (as I know many other weddings were happening this summer) but she DID and she, Esther and the staff nailed it! Our day was perfect! Everyone told me "just prepare...something will go wrong". I am happy to report NOTHING went wrong on our day thanks to the professionalism, communication, hard work and overall organization of Black Butte Ranch and their staff. From the moment I saw BBR online, I knew I wanted to get married here - and it lived up to and exceeded my expectations! From the beautiful lake and aspen trees, to the floor and ceiling windows inside, this venue has it all. On top of that, all the staff and coordinators took all of our custom requests and ran with them - the food was AMAZING!! Plus the staff throughout BBR were so happy for us the entire week, it really felt like such a special, perfect time. And now we have a beautiful place to revisit and even stay, for anniversaries/ trips! -

Amazing experience!
Our wedding day was literally perfect! I wish we could go back just to relive it. Black Butte Ranch was the perfect venue and Kendra did an amazing job helping our dream wedding come to life. Everything was completely customizable, which was great because we ended up wanting to customize multiple things like the food options. Black butte ranch has incredible breathtaking views! The staff was more than helpful. I had started my wedding planning in the midst of staff transitioning, although I was worried about my details getting lost on the mix, the staff made a smooth transition. My day was prefect.
