My husband and I were so impressed with Black Bear Golf Club! Our wedding day was perfect and the venue is breathtaking. They were easy to get ahold of, we were able to come to the venue and ask any questions we had before the wedding day, and the food is incredible! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day!

I can't say enough good things about our wedding at Black Bear. The food was out of this world, our maitred was amazing and attentive. He even helped me when I had a small catastrophe and had a soaking wet shoe! They took care of everything and were very accommodating. I really could go on forever but all you need to know is this place is amazing and if I could go back and do it again, I still would have chosen Black Bear for my ceremony and reception!!!

My husband and I first inquired about Black Bear and spoke to Erika Alsobrook, the event coordinator, about having our wedding. From the very beginning we were incredibly happy with the pricing options and the kindness, patience, advice, and responsiveness from Erika.

We decided on a day that was special to us for multiple reasons and Erika got straight to work on getting all the information to us that we would need to start planning a wedding at their facility.

Throughout the planning process Erika was with us every single step. If we ever had a question or concern, we could email her and hear back within 24 hours. She was very descriptive and informative about the way we could expect our wedding day to go and come September 9, 2016, she was right on the money.

Black Bear Golf Club itself is gorgeous. Right as you walk in there is a big lovely staircase which was fantastic for our first look and bridal party photographs. The rest of the facility is clean and neat and open! The two main ballrooms have lovely vaulted ceilings, dark hardwood accents, a nice stone fireplace, and a big dance floor that opens up out to the cocktail area and ceremony site complete with a metal gazebo and a bright green hill backdrop. Our wedding was a dream because everything about Black Bear was so amazing and all of the staff was helpful and friendly.

I would highly recommend Black Bear Golf Club to anyone looking for a lovely and romantic Parker, CO wedding!

Out of all of the other venues we had looked at (dozens!), this is by far the ABSOLUTE best! Erika and her team did a phenomenal job of putting together our perfect day. They were very respectful of our budget (which was on the smaller/modest end) and were willing to work with us so we could get the best wedding possible. We didn't even feel like we were sacrificing anything due to the budget. The chef and the food selection is hands down the most DELICIOUS we've ever had! Our guests, even months later are STILL raving about the food! Elmir helped us create the perfect "couple's drink" with a spin on a French Martini that was uniquely us. Probably the BEST drink I've ever had, it was light, refreshing and not too alcohol tasting, perfect for a June wedding. He was even thoughtful enough to have Argentinian wine for our South American guests. My husband is from Uruguay and his family is spread all over the world so we were blown away by the details the staff took at having small nods to his culture and global family. Erika responded to all of my emails, ideas, questions promptly and was genuinely excited to help me have my perfect wedding. I even had rose petal cannons as a surprise for my now husband and Erika was so excited and did a great job at hiding our secret. He was so surprised when the cannons went off right after we kissed at the end of the ceremony! Anytime a small hiccup or two would come up throughout the evening Erika did a great job of leading her team and made the night go so smoothly. The venue is also so beautiful on its own that we had minimal decorations. I was so sad when it was the end of the evening because I was having so much fun and our guests had a BLAST. Again, our guests still talk about the great time they had and what a fun wedding it was. My husband and I (and our families and guests) will always remember this day and how Erika and the Black Bear team went so above and beyond to make our day truly special. THANK YOU!!

I highly recommend BlackBear Golf Club for any wedding celebration event ! The venue looked absolutely wonderful, the food was constantly commented on as excellent, and the service was Right ON! This team at Blackbear accommodated a lot of special requests and late changes, and everything went perfectly. Two Thumbs UP!

I can't say enough positive things about Black Bear Golf Club. In our search for wedding venues, none would give us what we wanted; a fun, casual environment with a flare of elegance. We didn't want a sit down dinner, but didn't want a stuffy buffet dinner either. Black Bear was the only one that worked with us and gave us exactly what we wanted. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is amazing, and they are more than happy to work with you on everything. If you are looking for an amazing wedding, please consider Black Bear. :) Everyone made you feel like family and they remember you!! Every time my husband and I would come in for a meeting, or just to gawk at the wonderful place we were getting married, everyone always said Hi and asked where we were in wedding planning! I can honestly say, Black Bear made our wedding perfect!!

We loved having our wedding at this location. The staff was wonderful, Stacey helped coordinate our wedding, she always responded quickly to emails and phone calls. She helped make our day absolutely perfect by allowing us to decorate early and having everything set up to make our day the way we wanted it plus unique to us. My husband and I were so happy we chose to have our wedding at Black Bear!

We had our wedding at Black Bear and could not have been happier! Since we held our wedding less than four months after having gotten engaged, I didn't do much looking at sites and originally planned to hold it in another location that I was already familiar with. They ended up dropping the ball on our entire vision and I got in touch with Stacey at Black Bear with only 60 days to put everything together. She fixed EVERYTHING that we thought had fallen apart and made it seem like a breeze. The day turned out to be perfect, and the food even better! To top it off, I felt that we got a lot more for our money that we would have any place else, and our guests could not have been more complimentary.

I just would like to say Stacey Brantley as well as the staff was truly amazing! They took such great care in providing us a spectacular wedding. We couldn't have been more appreciative of them. They were very accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure we truly had an amazing experience. The food was amazing and the chef went the extra mile to add on some dishes that we wanted as well as incorporating some of my recipes. Again thank you for all of the amazing things Black Bear did to make it a special day for us!!!!!

Working with Stacey at Black Bear was such an incredible experience! She was very attentive and involved during the planning stages and did an amazing job the day of as well. We ended up having to move our ceremony inside last minute (a first for her) and it was beautiful! I would recommend Stacey and Black Bear to anyone!

Black Bear Golf Club was amazing to work with and they were open to all our ideas and needs. We wanted to have a venue that had an indoor/outdoor feel that was casual but still formal feeling at the same time. We loved being able to get married in the back courtyard and keep everyone in one location for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dance.

Everyone had a blast and have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding, including how good the food was. If we were to get married again, we would still choose Black Bear to host our day.

Black Bear Golf Club and Stacey (the coordinator), were great to work with from beginning to end. They were open to all of our ideas, listened to what we wanted for food and even created a specialty cocktail for us. The ceremony and reception was beautiful and the staff was great to work with. The only hiccup was that our guests weren't told we had a Groom's Choice Keg Beer until later in the night. We heard the appetizers during cocktail hour were delicious (we only got to try the Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onion since we were so busy) and were a big hit.

Lastly, we had a slider and tator tot bar for late night eats that everyone raved over... we were also glad it was available since I was still nervous about toasts/dances to eat enough during our main course.

The entire staff worked great with the rest of the vendors and if there were any problems, they didn't come to either of us with it. Everything ran smoothly and we've heard nothing but positive comments about the ceremony, reception and how much fun the rest of the night was.

If we could do it all over again, we would still get married at Black Bear, hands down.

This has been a summer full of weddings for not only us but many of our friends. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, what an amazing time everyone had and how great the food was! We were so happy that we found Black Bear to have our wedding, they worked very hard to make our day perfect.

Beautiful venue and amazing service! They where so easy to work with. Stacey has been nothing but amazing and incredibly helpful. We loved the one stop shop when it comes to pricing. The food was amazing and our whole wedding was seamless and incredible.

Black Bear is an exceptional venue! Not only is it beautiful with amazing views of the mountains and breath taking sunsets, but the staff, and especially Stacey Brantley (the wedding coordinator) was amazing. No matter what your needs are, from finances to twinkly lights, she really helps you get everything you want to make your day everything you hoped it would be. I probably sent her over a hundred emails through all of my planning, and there was always a prompt and helpful response. The very first time looking at Black Bear, I had been looking at other venues, and I loved this place...its simplicity along with its elegance was just what I wanted - and meeting Stacey is what won me and my mom (aka my wedding planner) over. They have a list of the best vendors for everything - flowers, music, officiants, etc., and the recommendations came in very handy when searching for our vendors..everyone was very familiar with Black Bear, and with Stacey, which made things easier and everything ran smoothly on our day. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be....very candlelit and romantic :) and all of our guests commented on what an amazing, fun, organized and beautiful wedding it was! I would definitely recommend looking at Black Bear Golf Course if you are wanting a very special, and less stressful wedding.

I would just like to say thank you to all the staff and especially Stacy who made our wedding absolutely amazing. They did an amazing job and they also made sure that everything went smoothly for us. They were extremely accommodating with the thoughtfulness of all the little details. The food was amazing as well. The chef went out of his way to incorporate our recipes into our menu and that meant a lot to us. I appreciate everything you guys did - from the process to the final touches to make our special day memorable.

Not only was our wedding at Black Bear, but so was my baby shower! The venue is so beautiful, inside and out! It's in a beautiful, quiet area and the gazebo is absolutely gorgeous. Stacey is so friendly, genuine, and was very helpful! The food is great! We loved the amount of time we were given, along with good pricing. I loved the space of the room down stairs where I got ready. The view and lighting in the room where we had our ceremony was perfect, especially with the sun setting. I would recommend Black Bear to anyone, for any event, especially for a wedding.

Black Bear exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable and Stacey went above and beyond what I expected of her. The food was delicious and guests still talk about how superb the garlic mashed potatoes were. The venue itself is beautiful and can be transformed into any brides vision. My husband was very impressed with the golf course and being an avid golfer, that was very important to him. We had so much fun and wish getting married was a yearly event (minus the stress)! It was so easy to work with Stacey and her crew and I really didnt stress TOO much about all the planning because Stacey was very on top of her game. Black Bear was so eager and willing to help make our special day perfect, even allowing us to have a grand send off with sparklers! We had the best time and would recommend Black Bear to any bride!!!

We were very pleased with the service we received from Stacey at BlackBear. She was friendly, organized and responsive throughout the planning process. The day of our wedding there were some glitches (relating to cake and DJ ) and Stacey stepped right up and took care of everything. She was there to handle everything and keep everything running smoothly and most of all ensure that I did not get stressed! The venue was beautiful and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend This vendor to anyone planning a wedding or other event!!

Stacey and the entire Black Bear staff are truly amazing!! After our initial tour of the facility, Stacey kept in contact with us and set up several meetings to keep us on track with planning. We used multiple vendors/services from her list of reccomended companies. She gave us tons of options and suggestions for everything from lighting, decorations, food and even where the ceremony would take place. We brought along a couple people from our wedding party to the tasting and chef Billy wowed us all! He asked for feedback or if we'd like more, less or different flavors/spices in the food and it was perfect just the way it was. So then came the rehearsal. We opted for a morning rehearsal and brunch to follow. Pastor James Mills went through and explained how the ceremony would unfold and we all went back inside for brunch. After brunch, I wasn't feeling well and Josh took me to a nearby urgent care we eventually learned I had blood clots in both lungs. Instead of getting pampered the day before the wedding Josh and I were in the ICU. He never left my side. The doctors said it'd be a miracle if I got out in time for the wedding the next day. We thought the wedding would have to be post-poned! Stacey came to visit in the hospital and worked with our parents to contact vendors and possibly reschedule. The next day we got our miracle! I was discharged from the hospital with strict instructions not to over exert myself. Everyone we knew was on the phone working to make sure our day would happen. We got married that evening and had cake with all our guests! The reception and honeymoon were post-poned until I was better. Stacey, along with everyone at Black Bear, and the vendors were awesome enough to accommodate us a second time and it turned out better then we could have imagined!! It's been almost a year but I still consider Stacey a wonderful friend-thank you for being such a big part of our day!

We couldn't have been happier with the venue and exceptional service of Stacey Brantley, the event coordinator. The Black Bear fills the bill in every way. Not only beautiful inside and out, but comfortable and warm for all, Easy transition from inside to out, w/a beautiful patio. A variety of areas for pictures had everyone of them fabulous, especially on the staircase. Thank goodness for the taste testing, as the bride does not really seem to get to eat, and the food was so fantastic! I honestly am still getting compliments from friends and family, and it has been 9 months. Everything, including the price, were just right!

Perfect place for a wedding! The grounds where beautiful with the gazebo and walk way for the ceremony. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and responsive, Stacey in particular was wonderful to work with. She helped me navigate my options, kept me cool when I was starting to go off the deep end. Couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Everyone is wonderful at Black Bear is. From beginning to end they were so helpful. I barely had to think. I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I walked in the door, but that didn't matter. They walked me through everyting. Best food I've had at any wedding! During the reception the staff was friendly and on top of everyting. The setting is so beautiful. They made my wedding day easy and amazing.

Black Bear is the best place to have your wedding. They are amazing. Not only for the actual wedding but for anniversaries. My husband and I returned for our 1 year anniversary and they gave us a free meal at the club house. The wedding planner is fantastic, she accommodated us so much. My husband wanted to bring some outside russian food and she allowed it, even though they normally don't. The wait staff was incredible and so nice to all my guest. My guest commented not only on the how wonderful the location was but the staff. If you are looking for a place that is beautiful outside and inside. I also want to mention that the doors open on the side of the dance floor, this allows people to sit outside but still watch people get down on the dance floor. My guest loved that option, especially since it was a cool summer night. Again I can not say enough about how wonderful this place is, everything from planning, the wedding planner, the food, and the way they are flexible to make your day as special as you want it. High recommend! I cant wait to go there for my 2nd wedding anniversary!

Words can't describe how amazing of a day it was, and it was partially due to Black Bear Golf Club and the outstanding staff. The venue is tucked away in a residential area, but when you get there you are awed by the beautiful well kept golf course and club house! The gazebo is perfect for the "I dos" whether your goal is to have an intimate ceremony or a luxurious celebration. The food is delicious, and I love that the chef uses herbs and vegetables from the Black Bear garden! We were on a tight budget, and they offered so many options for free as well as having affordable packages that met our needs! The staff is accommodating and friendly, especially the event coordinator Stacey! If you are looking for budget friendly, beautiful location, and a staff willing to go above and beyond--go talk to Stacey at Black Bear! You and your guests will be Wowed!

My husband and I were very pleased with the level of service. The wedding coordinator, Stacy, was very knowledgeable and helpful. They were accommodating to our wedding needs, we wanted our wedding outside and they did everything it took to make it happen. They had a backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate. The food was outstanding, we had many compliments! Overall, for the price of the venue, the service and quality far outmatched it. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had my wedding at Black Bear in Sept 2012. As a bride on a budget, I was extremely discouraged looking into other venues. Just the venue fee alone ate up a generous portion of my budget, not to mention many other venues required renting tables, silverware, etc. Then I came across Black Bear... There is no venue fee, if you meet the food and beverage minimum, and they include tables, silverware and basic table linen. The reception area is very cozy and the ceremony site has a beautiful gazebo to be married under. The staff was super easy to work with before and during our wedding. Black Bear doesn't rent the venue by the hour, so day-of, we were able to get there early and have plenty of time to set up. And the food was excellent! We still receive compliments on it. I can't recommend Black Bear and its staff enough!!

We wanted a unique wedding that served our favorite foods- sliders, mini-hot dogs, sweet potato tots, a chips/salsa bar, and margarita machines. We completed our backyard themed wedding with yard games and a beautiful sunset! We couldn't be happier with our wedding at Black Bear!

Black Bear Golf Club was an amazing venue. The wedding coordinator, Stacey, was wonderful. She was always available for anything I needed and really made me feel like a priority. Black Bear was beautiful. Our ceremony was outside with the reception inside. All members of the staff were helpful and the food was GREAT. The price is very reasonable also. All in all it was an AMAZING day that I will never forget!

Stacey was AWESOME! It was like having a personal wedding planner through the whole process. She went through every single little detail and even had a safety pin there when we couldn't get my bustle up right. We had so many compliments about the venue, the food and the staff, I feel like I just can't say enough about how great the experience was. I pestered her with a million questions but she always got back to me and was so friendly. She was key in making sure that our wedding day was perfect and she definitely succeeded!

They did sooo much to make our day special. I am Itallian so they let us bring in special cookies that my grandma made. Ann really worked with so that she fully understood what we wanted.

Black Bear Golf Club was a perfect fit for our wedding day. It provides fantastic views with a rustic and classic feel. We were very pleased with the package offered to us for our big day, the food was great and the venue provided a great flow to the wedding and reception.

Black Bear is absolutely beautiful! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and our reception there and couldn't have asked for anything better. Stacey the coordinator is fantastic and is so acommodating! The food was fantastic! It was the happiest day of my life and I'm happy that it was at Black Bear!

I searched for months before deciding on Black Bear as our final choice for our wedding and I could not be happier. We had both our ceremony and reception there - Stacey, our on-site wedding coordinator, was amazing. She helped guide us through the parts of planning we were less familiar with but also stayed true from start to finish on our desires. Even when dark skies and rain threatened my outdoor ceremony, Stacey was calm and helped coordinate guests, vendors, and family with ease. Although my husband noted the bar staff were a bit too strict in terms of their service of drinks during the reception, that's the only complaint we have. The venue itself is stunning and I would highly recommend them as a beautiful, accommodating, and truly wonderful place to celebrate your special day.

I had a great experience with Black Bear Golf Club! My wedding was absolutely beautiful and everyone was so helpful through every step of the journey. I was working with a tight budget and they were always accommodating, even offering suggestions for cheaper options and ways to better spend my money in the area of the venue. The only problem I had with them was that for some reason they went through three different event coordinators during the time I worked with them (8-9 months). It was a bit frustrating to have to keep explaining the same things over and over again to multiple people. They were all wonderful, but it was nice to finally have someone to work with through the day of the wedding. Kelly was great and I really appreciated everything she did for us!

Black Bear was an amazing venue. I have recieved so many compliements on how pretty the venue was. You definately recieve more bang for buck with Black Bear. The wedding coordinator, Stacy, is so bubbly and sweet. She made every meeting we had fun. The food was also amazing. Many of my wedding guests commented that the food was delicious and much better than what you normaly get for wedding food.

My husband and I were not looking to exceed the $10,000 limit for our wedding. As we set out looking for venues we decided to keep our search based on venues that included it all. When we walked into Black Bear Golf Club we were drawn to the grand staircase that greets you at the front door. But our attraction to the venue did not stop there. We were greeted by a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable event planner. Stacey Brantly (the event planner) was with us through every step of the way in the planning. On our big day, everything went on without the slightest problem. The food (made in house) was amazing, and very large portions were given. I received numerous comments from guest about the amazing food. The venue was immaculate and to top it all off it was worry free. I would recommend this venue to many people and friends thinking about an affordable but over the top wedding!

I used Black Bear Golf Club for both my ceremony and reception and was so happy that I did. My husband found the vendor online and I'm so happy that he did. The food and service were fantastic and the event planner was wonderful. I'm not sure I could have done it with her!

I'd recommend Black Bear Golf Club to anyone.

Stacey and the staff at Black Bear were great. My wedding day was great and I felt very comfortable knowing Stacey was taking care of everything. She is really good at what she does. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The location was great and well presented/maintained. One of my favorite things about this location was the ability to have access to the location all day, there were no time constraints or charges for extra hours. This made the day a lot more relaxing and enjoyable for me. Thanks Stacey and Black Bear! We loved our wedding!

Everything turned out great! We booked our date a year in advance and worked with 4 different event coordinators, it's hard and a little worrisome with staff turnover because you have to repeat yourself and they lost our original contract and changed some of the agreements. However, whats a wedding with no hiccups? Everything turned out great and we thank the Black Bear staff. Last comment if you want a mountain view/downtown Denver view we don't recommend depending on the golf course views.
