Perfect wedding at the Biltmore!
Our wedding at the Inn on Biltmore Estate was absolutely perfect. We stayed at the Inn over the weekend and upgraded to a Mountain Suite which had beautiful views and plenty of space for the ladies to get ready with hair and makeup in the morning. We did the first look at the Inn and then went over to the Biltmore House for wedding pictures. The photos came out so beautifully with the Biltmore as the backdrop. The ceremony was held at the Vista at the Inn which has a great view overlooking the mountains. The cocktail hour was held on the Terrace, the bar was in the Gallery, and the reception was in the Vanderbilt ballroom. We had 55 guests so the space was the perfect size (max capacity is 80). The food was incredible. Multiple hors d'oeuvres, cheese and charcuterie board, carving station, and each pasta station came with two types of pasta. The cake made by the pastry chef at the Inn was also delicious and they designed it beautifully as we had described our vision to them. We also used Biltmore Floral as our florist and all the bouquets and flower arrangements were so pretty. The flower arch for the ceremony was gorgeous and they picked the most beautiful flowers that matched our color scheme and preferences. The Biltmore wedding team throughout the process was very helpful and communicative (shoutout to Tara!). Having our wedding at the Biltmore made it all the more special for us and our guests and we can't imagine having had it anywhere else!-

Beyond Incredible
The Biltmore Estate was an absolute dream of a wedding venue. It was beyond my wildest expectations. I lost count how many guests told me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. October 30 had perfect skies, leave changes in the trees, and fantastic weather. Nothing beats the backdrop of the most beautiful home in America, surrounded by stunning mountains and trees and grounds. We were so impressed by the entire process. They somehow managed to make us feel like we were the only wedding that year when I am sure we weren't even the only wedding that weekend. We got married at the Diana venue overlooking the house and it was absolutely perfect. They will not do another wedding near the house if this is where your wedding is booked. Stephanie Moline was a huge, huge help and so kind and thoughtful! She works incredibly hard and is a wealth of knowledge! The food was all incredible, the cake was beautiful and delicious, and the decor was exactly what we wanted!! Thank you!!!-

Biltmore Estate Wedding - WOW
WOW! The Biltmore Weddings, Floral, and Pastry teams were fabulous to work with!
VENUE:
My husband and I got engaged in March 2020 and instantly knew we wanted to have an international wedding in the countryside of England. As COVID-19 progressed, we realized that our dream wedding wasn't going to happen as we didn't want to risk our guests health and safety. After the hard decision of not having an international wedding, we quickly set out to find a venue in the United States that evoked the same feeling we had wanted in our English garden estate wedding. We researched several venues but instantly new Biltmore Estate was THE venue as soon as we met our Biltmore Coordinator, Emily Rarhle, and she took us on a tour of all the venue possibilities.
BILTMORE WEDDING TEAM:
We had a small, 23 person ceremony and reception - originally planned for the Champagne Cellar but with COVID restrictions we had to move our wedding to The Inn on Biltmore Estate. The ceremony was held on the Belvedere Terrace, cocktail and wine tasting in the Gallery, and our reception in the Vanderbilt Ballroom.
Our wedding at the Biltmore Estate was beyond incredible! Our Biltmore wedding coordinator, Emily Rarhle, was a dream to work with. She answered all of our questions with detail and was instrumental in helping us plan our dream wedding through the planning process and execution during the wedding weekend. Even throughout the pandemic, Emily graciously worked with us to figure out new alternatives to the COVID restrictions set forth by the governor and ensured all of our planning would be absolutely magical.
CATERING & PASTRY TEAM:
Not only was the Biltmore Wedding team amazing, but our food was absolutely out-of-this-world! From our passed canapés to our reception dinner to our wedding cake created by the pastry team, everything was to the level of Biltmore standards and beyond delicious. Our guests raved about the food and our cake for weeks after the wedding and my husband and I constantly talk about how wonderful everything tasted.
FLORAL TEAM:
Let's talk florals! After booking our venue and interviewing with several different floral companies around Asheville, I instantly knew that I wanted to move forward with Lizzie Borchers and the Biltmore Floral team. Flowers, along with Photography, were my top must haves that would make or break the overall experience while my husband wanted to focus on food and venue. I wanted to have a true partnership with all of my vendors and Lizzie Borchers with the Biltmore Floral team instantly clicked! As soon as I explained what I wanted from a floral aesthetic I trusted her judgement completely. The overall theme of the wedding was to evoke an etherial romantic English garden. Lizzie suggested florals that would fit within a soft and romantic color scheme and that were true florals grown on the estate to capture the natural beauty of what Biltmore offered. When I say, "I trusted my vendors completely," I truly did. It's sometimes hard to describe the vision you have in your head to someone for what you expect, but when I walked into the Vanderbilt Ballroom and Belvedere Terrace to see my vision come to life, I was in utter shock because Lizzie and the Biltmore Floral team had gone above and beyond my expectations and truly transformed the space into something even more magical than what I could've imagined. They nailed all of the details perfectly!-

Make Your Dreams Come True
Our wedding team at the Biltmore Estate – Ashley and Andrea – are the dynamic duo brides need to plan a wedding. Add in a global pandemic, and they are invaluable.
From the moment we first drove onto the Biltmore Estate (pre-COVID), we knew it was the place we wanted to be married. The views are spectacular, the service impeccable, and the experience is unforgettable. We wanted this for us and our guests, and the Biltmore team delivered.
Once COVID hit, the Biltmore closed and we had a million questions about what would happen next. Ashley stayed in constant touch, answering our questions through email and over multiple calls - keeping us updated on how state and local restrictions affected our wedding. We needed to make a lot of changes and Ashley, along with our wedding planner, Mary Bell, made the process so much easier.
And our wedding was perfect!
Our guests are still raving about the property, the hotel rooms, the wedding venues and the amazing food. And we are so grateful that we were able to focus on each other all day rather than the details. It’s a top-notch venue and team that will make your dreams come true. -

Absolutely stunning venue
We got married at the Lioncrest Venue on the estate and Stephanie from the wedding department was absolutely amazing. It was very convenient since they handle catering, cake, tables, linens, etc all in house, so while planning I only needed to worry about hiring a florist, photographer, and DJ. Everything else was handled by the Biltmore. Stephanie helped make planning the smoothest process. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! -

Stunning and Beautiful
The Biltmore is of course stunning and jaw dropping experience on its own. We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and did our first look and had a private vow exchange on our wedding day here. We worked with Andrea during our rehearsal dinner planning and she was incredible! So accommodating and friendly throughout the entire planning process. Quick to respond to emails and made suggestions to make our evening magical. The event turned out better than we could have ever imagined! It could have been our wedding that was how gorgeous it was! Food was delicious and the flow Of the night was well executed. -

Dream Wedding!
Everything about my wedding at Biltmore was a dream. My catering sales manager (Stephanie) was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. The rental and catering selections were easy to work with and everything turned out exactly as I had hoped. Our banquet captain at Lioncrest was the absolute best, we are so lucky to have had him. So happy we choose Biltmore for our venue! -

There are wedding venues, and then there is the Biltmore! We had our ceremony and reception at the Conservatory and Walled Gardens in June 2017. At every step of the way, the Biltmore was professional, a breeze to work with, and made my life easy planning from a different state! The food was spectacular, the grounds were gorgeous, the logistics were smooth, and the venue was decorated beautifully. Thank you Biltmore, for a gorgeous wedding we will never forget!-

You get what you pay for, and the Biltmore is priceless. By the time we'd added up all the expenses from other places we considered, Biltmore ended up being a wonderful deal. All that aside, the scenery and the estate are beyond compare. The staff was top notch. They were on top of it from start to finish. From meeting with them early on, to the actual day of the wedding, the attention to detail was as "Biltmore" as you'd expect. Beyond my expectations even! I never have to wonder "what if" because I truly got married in the place of my dreams. -

We booked our ceremony and reception at Cedric's Garden on Biltmore Estate. The staff at Cedric's Tavern was responsible for preparing canapes for our cocktail hour as well as our stations for the reception. The food was fantastic! Guests continue to rave about how amazing the food was. I only wish we'd been able to try more of it ourselves! The staff baker prepared an amazing cake that was identical to the Pinterest photo I provided. I have absolutely zero complaints, disappointments, or regrets about my experience withe Biltmore's catering division. The Biltmore crew top to bottom are true professionals, and they made my event absolutely perfect. -

We toured many beautiful venues in North Carolina, but nothing compared to Biltmore! We had a small, 16 person, ceremony and reception in the Champagne Cellar and every single part of it was perfect. Meredith was our catering department coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful! She was so sweet and so professional and did an amazing job coordinating with all of our vendors and the estate. She really went above and beyond, especially in her procurement of my husband's favorite bourbon and a specially made cookie cake (I don't like regular cake). The food! Everyone said that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, maybe ever. We are still talking about how delicious the food was weeks later! Every staff member that we encountered was phenomenal, I could rave about how helpful and wonderful they are forever. The complimentary two night stay at the Inn made getting ready the day of and then returning to the hotel after the reception so convenient. Our wedding day was perfect in every way and a huge part of that was thanks to Biltmore and the amazing people who work there. It was worth every single penny. It was perfect! -

My husband and I got married at Lioncrest in October and we are so happy that we picked the Biltmore to get married at! We worked with Brooke and she was amazing to work with! Brooke and her staff are very professional and knew exactly what we wanted. Everything about our wedding was perfect and we have received so much positive feedback from our guests, especially with how well the food was. It's such a beautiful place and they are very accommodating!! We were really pleased with everything the Biltmore did for us and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone! -

Our wedding at Deerpark was an absolute dream come true. The grounds are breath taking, service was impeccable, and the food was beyond what we imagined. Everything was 5 stars and above. Our Biltmore wedding was everything that we dreamed and MORE! We selected the Grassy Knoll venue with sprawling views of the beautiful Asheville mountains for our destination ceremony. We were so lucky to work with Meredith Heard from start to finish. She is so sweet, responsive, and easy to work with! From our first tour, we knew we could not settle for any other venue. While we visited in fall, we had our hearts set on a spring ceremony beneath the big tree. Meredith made our dream a reality! She stayed in touch as we planned from afar, handled paperwork promptly, responded to random bridal questions, and even contacted our vendors the week before the wedding! She also gave a tour for our day-of team the day before our ceremony. Meredith truly went above and beyond!
As for the wedding weekend, the Biltmore team really makes you feel like royalty! Our package granted us access to the entire Estate for unlimited photos. It also included a day-of coordinator (who was so kind on our hectic day!), a night at the Inn (stunning room with BREATHTAKING views), and several wonderfully unexpected gifts. (Can't spoil them for you future Biltmore brides!) The package was an amazing value and exceeded our expectations! We can't wait to come back for anniversaries in the future!! -

I can't say enough about getting married at the Biltmore...it was everything I could hope for! We worked with Stephanie Woods, who is LOVELY and responsive, and she made sure we were prepared for everything along the way. From the beginning, she was thorough and easy to work with, and she made us extremely happy we chose to get married at Lioncrest. The Biltmore staff was extremely supportive of us and our guests, and literally treated everyone like royalty. I have zero complaints and could drone on for paragraphs about how wonderful our wedding was...if you're worried about the cost, I think that in the end, it was worth every penny (and then some). The food was amazing, our venue was beautiful, the staff was attentive, our rooms were perfect. A huge thanks to the Biltmore and Stephanie for giving us the most beautiful wedding imaginable! -

After visiting several venues in the Asheville area, we chose The Inn on Biltmore Estate. The location provided us a gorgeous setting for the ceremony and the ballroom was beautifully prepared for the reception. This was the first wedding we had planned and we were so impressed with Ashley Gardner, the senior events manager at the Inn. She and her team did an outstanding job from start to finish. The price may seem high initially but when all the services that are provided are considered, we felt it was well worth it. Highly recommend. -

We had our small wedding reception in The Dining Room at the Inn on the Biltmore Estate. The sit down dinner was amazing and the best food we have ever had. We had a small party of 15 and they went above and beyond to make our night special. Scheduling and booking was simple and the catering department was prompt with responding to phone calls and emails. They were even willing to provide flowers and a wedding cake if we so desired. The wait staff really makes you feel welcomed and they are extremely friendly. I will always plan my special events there and hope to have many anniversaries celebrated there. -

You can not go wrong wtih Catering from the Biltmore. The options are diverse, they want to make sure you have choices that fit your needs and demands and they cake is all part of the cost (they will do any amazing cake you want and design it).
We had a wide set of appetizers , four courses and cake (plus an ice cream sundae bar). On top of all of that, the bartenders and servers were friendly and helpful. -

I thank Biltmore so much for absolutely everything! We appreciate their patience in answering all of our questions along the way. Every single one of Biltmore staff were awesome! They really made it easy for us to have a great time at our wedding…and for that, Jon and I could not thank them enough.
The food – they were all top-notch and we received several compliments on it! The appetizers were beautiful to behold, and lovely start to a great night. Dinner was absolutely delicious and served by a pleasant, helpful and accommodating staff.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with the Biltmore. From the first email, they were kind, responsive, and extremely helpful. Stephanie Woods was our catering manager and she was fantastic to work with - no matter how small a detail or how menial the question, she made sure to help in every way she could. Our ceremony and reception was in the Conservatory; it was beautiful and perfect for a small wedding. The catering staff was fantastic - very attentive to allergies and special requests; our guests could not stop commenting on how great the food was (and we agree!). The day of staff was so great - they made sure everything ran smoothly. I could go on forever about how great the entire process was - I can't wait to go back to visit. -

My husband and me had the best experience with Biltmore Estate and there wedding catering services. We got married 10-10-2015 in the Champagne Cellar at Biltmore. It was the most beautiful, most romantic venue we could ask for. The service that was offered was exceptional and did whatever was needed to make our night/stay at the Biltmore enjoyable. Absolutely outstanding. From the catering to the set-up, everything was amazing. And everything was affordable! They take care of almost everything and they're so professional in doing so. I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding. The food was insane and the cake that they did was a 100% replica of the photo that I gave them. They were so easy to work with and they truly know how to make your day the most special of your life. Ashley in catering was SO helpful during the entire year leading up to the wedding. We got married at the Biltmore in Oct. and it was an amazing experience. Our ceremony was at the Butterfly Gardens and reception in the Champagne Cellar. The setting alone sells it self but the service and our coordinator Beth was amazing to work with! She was there for us the entire time planning and even the day of the wedding. Always willing to do whatever was needed to make the day go smoothly. 5 stars for sure! -

AMAZING. No other words to describe our experience. The only thing that was unexpected was that due to the size of our Rehearsal Dinner crowd, we got moved into a room that had no view of outside. The presentation was still fabulous and the food was out of this world. Certainly lived up to our expectations. -

Once my husband and I decided on Asheville, North Carolina as our destination location for the wedding, the Biltmore Estate was one of the first places we looked for a venue. The grounds are, of course, stunning, but we were very taken with the Deerpark Restaurant and Lodge Room space on the property. Beautiful wood and brick with an outdoor courtyard in the center of the space; in short, it was perfectly matched with our vision!
Our booking and planning process was made simple and pleasant thanks to Ashley Gardner and the Biltmore Catering team. She was always very quick to respond to our initial hundred questions as well as the thousands to come after we booked. Her patience and flexibility to help us gain the best experience was priceless to us, especially with us planning the wedding from a few hours away.
Ashley guided us through the tasting and menu process, as well as providing great guidance on our floor plan. Our meetings in person were always comprehensive and efficient. She helped us arrange for room reservations at the Inn and handled all of the rental delivery and pick up arrangements.
The day of the wedding, the Biltmore catering staff was fantastic. They flipped the Lodge Room from our ceremony set up to additional stations and seating in a flash! The bartenders and servers were very kind and helpful. Our guests will not stop complimenting the food! It was all so delicious. And our cake turned out beautifully & so tasty. Down to the very end of the evening, the Biltmore staff was incredibly attentive.
We had a fantastic experience with the Inn at Biltmore. The concierge, bell staff, room service were impeccable. And the views! Well it does not get much better.
We had the ultimate full-service wedding experience with the Biltmore Estate and would highly recommend it to anyone, again and again. We look forward to many visits back to our wedding location and will always look back on our unforgettable weekend with joy!

The Biltmore Estate in Asheville is a fairy tale wedding location. Ashley Gardner is an excellent catering sales manager. She was our contact for exactly one year to the day of the wedding. We first met her on 4/16/13 and our daughter's wedding was on 4/16/14! Ashley was so friendly, she was very quick to return calls and emails and she is a true professional! She went above and beyond to make the entire planning and wedding day a huge success! -

We had our wedding ceremony at the Biltmore Conservatory and our reception at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. We worked with Shea Young for about a year. Shea is awesome! I know I seriously drove her crazy because I emailed her probably every other day (maybe even every single day). But she helped us make additions and changes throughout the process. We had several guests tell us it was the prettiest wedding they had ever attended and that was all Biltmore - the property grounds are so amazing. The staff and the service was exceptional. All of the staff helped us achieve our vision with their attention to detail. The only downside was that we didn't get to eat much of the food because everything was so hectic and only a few items were boxed up for us after the reception. But the entire trip everyone at Biltmore made us feel like royalty and although no wedding is perfect, it felt like ours was pretty close! We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue! -

Our contact at the Biltmore is a true professional. At first I was concerned because she seemed so young, however Shea Young knows her business and ensured that we would have a memorable wedding. She was helpful in all aspects and paid attention to every detail. The staff at Biltmore was also a pleasure to be around - they were fun and very welcoming. Everyone we encountered made us feel at home - it was an event we will never forget.
The Walled Garden is such a beautiful part of the Estate and having the ceremony in the Garden follwed by the reception in the Butterfly Garden & Conservatory made our wedding very unique. In our opinion, it was the perfect setting!! -

Our wedding took place in the butterfly garden with the reception in th champagne cellar. We wanted an intimate yet beautiful ceremony and that was all accomplished at the biltmore. Even better is the guests were able to enjoy the estate the next day and shop in the village. Everyone said it was one of their most memorable weddings they have ever attended. I would recommend this location especially for intimate small ceremonys so you can have your reception in the champagne cellar, because it is truly beautiful -

The Biltmore Estate far exceeded our expectations as our ceremony and reception venue! We chose the Lioncrest, with our wedding ceremony taking place under the covered portico and the cocktail hour upstairs in the ball room. I couldn’t believe how quickly the staff turned over the portico for the reception! Their attention to detail is amazing. Our friends and family are still raving about how wonderful the wedding was!
We worked with Shea Young to secure the room, plan the menu and she goes above and beyond to make sure your day goes off without a hitch! Throughout the entire process, their services couldn't have been better. Their venue and services were worth every penny! The food, cake, staff and every other aspect of this venue were just simply amazing! Yes, it is pricey, but the quality is unmatched. Thank you to the staff at Biltmore Estate for helping us host a day that we will always remember!

The Biltmore Estate far exceeded our expectations as our ceremony and reception venue! We chose the Deerpark Restaurant, in which we hoped to get married in the courtyard with the reception inside. Due to inclement weather, we had to move inside to the Lodge Room, but talk about a beautiful back up! This location actually turned out nicer than I believe the courtyard would have. I can't express our gratitude for having the weather back up location, as well as the flexibility and understanding of all of the Biltmore staff. I worked with Shea Young from the beginning stages of our wedding planning, and to say that she goes above and beyond your expectations would be an understatement! She provided instantaneous feedback and had an answer for every single one of my questions, and I had a lot! From the planning to the day of, their services couldn't have been any better. Their venue and services were well worth every penny that we spent. Our friends and family are still raving about how wonderful our wedding was and I believe we all will for many years to come. The food, cake, staff and every other aspect of this venue were just simply amazing...I was apprehensive about planning our NC wedding from GA, but with this staff you could plan it from across the world and have the most perfect wedding day ever. Thank you Biltmore Estate & all of the wonderful staff who made our wedding day so incredible. -

I got my dream wedding here. They were wonderful with everything from the planning to the day after. It was flawless. Sara was amazing and on point. We had it at the wine cellar. I live on the eastern side of NC but I am from NJ and I needed a smaller venue because the amount of guest was small due to the travel. So I got the perfect location. The food was amazing and our cake was exactly what we asked for. I swear we were looking at our picture. Cannot explain how happy I was with the choice to get married there. -

I had my ceremony at the Vista at the Inn on Biltmore and the ceremony at Lioncrest on a Saturday in October 2012. The day was absolutely perfect from start to finish! This is a fairy tale wedding site, but the fair tale does come with a hefty price tag. With that said, they paid attention to every detail and it showed. All of our family and friends (group of about 110 including kids) said it was the perfect wedding and almost all commented on the attention to detail. They recommend that you have a wedding coordinator for any Biltmore Wedding and I'd have to say the coordinator I used was well worth the money. It's just too big of a day to be stressed. Back to the Biltmore - I have nothing but great things to say about the experience and the catering manager, Ashley Gardner. She was quick to respond to any request (we worked together for about a year and a half) and no question was considered stupid, which I totally appreciated. Loved, loved, loved the staff and the venue! -

We had our May 19 wedding in the Butterfly Garden and the reception in the Conservatory on the Biltmore Estate. It was truly magical! From when we first stepped foot on the property for the first meeting with Maura, the Biltmore wedding planner, we knew this is where we wanted to have our Big Day. Maura was a joy to work with. She knows what you need before you even ask! Biltmore has got weddings down to a science. From the amazing food, gardens, table settings and twinkle lights, it was all so magical. Our guests are still talking about it! -

We recently (June 25, 2011) held my daughter's wedding at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Our experience was outstanding. There truly is no better venue if you are looking for a romantic and classically beautiful location for a wedding. There are multiple locations on the Estate grounds to hold a wedding. We choose the Deerpark. The staff was friendly and extremely professional. Their communication was excellent and we were pleased with our entire experience. The food was wonderful and no your standard wedding fare. Our planning consultant, Ashley Gardner, was truly outstanding. Every small detail she checked into and offered multiple options for us to decide upon. She made our experience tuly magical. It is a night our entire family will remember all our lives.

The staff at the Biltmore did an amazing job for us. The pre-planning was wonderfully detailed and information was prepared for me before I even could think to ask for it. Our event day contact were wonderful and made us feel like family. We had pictures taken around the estate and the wedding and reception in the Champagne Cellar with a private wine tour and tasting included. Our guests had a wonderful time and commented that it was not only a wedding but a vacation like experience as well. The food was unbelievable good! The pastry chef makes amazing cakes with fondant that is actually very flavorful. We would highly recommend this venue. -

We chose the Champagne Cellar as our ceremony and reception site. This space holds a maximum of 30 people. Beautiful, intimate, and romantic.
Provided: tables, linens, chairs, 4 course meal, open bar, passed appetizers, set up for ceremony and reception, winery tour and tasting for guests, cake, champagne toast, staff.
Ashley Gardner was my sales coordinator. She promptly returned all my calls and emails; with more enthusiasm than I could every muster for neurotic brides! As I had no idea how to put a wedding together, she directed me from one step to the next.
The Biltmore took care of all the details. I only had to choose what meals I wanted from their menus. They printed nice menus cards for each setting so my guests could anticipate the next course. The cake tasting took place in the Bistro before they opened, giving us a nice, private afternoon.
The cake was very lovely and quite delicious. I gave the pastry chef my cake topper and told him to be inspired and make whatever came to mind. The topper is a steampunk robot couple; Mark made a three tier buttercream cake with cog and gear fondant, complete with steam pipes and gauges. Very cute!
The reception was only a 20 person affair. We were provided with a wonderful, worry free event. My guests were pleased with the meals, the decor, and loved the winery tour.
The Biltmore staff were very professional, friendly, not at all 'snooty and condescending' (as the Grove Park Inn presented). I felt very well taken care of and unhassled on the day of my wedding. I would love to use this facility again for a special gathering.

I would highly reccomend Biltmore Estate to anyone. They were phenomenal from the early planning stages through to the actual event. I didn't need a wedding planner/day-of-coordinator at all because they were so on top of everything. They have an event manager that is just responsible for your entire even the day/night it is being held. And the catering manager we worked with via email (because I'm from out of state) was wonderful, we emailed back and forth for months until everything I wanted or thought I might want was in place. The night went perfectly. I got married in their Champagne Cellar and if anyone has any more specific questions you can send me a personal message on www.projectwedding.com my username on there is jessiepilot. -

Fabulous Venue
Our daughter's wedding was in Champagne Cellar. Was perfect for intimate wedding. Cellar gave it a "castle-like" feel. Food was fabulous. Andrea, the catering coordinator, was excellent to work with. Even accommodated a last-minute request for non-lactose meal for one of the guests. Serving staff worked like well-oiled machine and were so pleasant they seemed to be having as much fun as we were. As MOB, once I received my first cocktail, I never had to get my own refill - staff was eagle-eyed and took great care of me and all our guests. All of my relatives still talking about what a great wedding it was. Recommend without reservations. -

This vendor is a good option for couples looking to get married in the mountains of NC. My husband and I visited the Biltmore Estate and scheduled a Tour to see the options available for ceremony and reception. They had plan A and plan B for outdoor weddings but their prices were out of this world. During the meeting we received estimates for a small 50-100 person wedding and it was much more than we thought it would be. They do allow outside vendors and give you a list of those they recommend. -

We chose Biltmore because we loved the idea that it is a place we can always go back to and visit to remember our wedding for years to come! There are also great activities on the estate and in and around Asheville for guests who are coming from out of town. -

We got married at the Champagne Cellar on New Year's Eve. It was beautiful and delicious. The menu was amazing, the waitstaff was great, especially Helmut. They provided a full seated dinner, full bar, and the cake. They also have the printed menus for you and all of the seating/dinnerware/glassware. Even for those that just left it how it was with candles and wall sconces, the place looks lovely well decorated or barely touched. Our wedding included a couple of nights at the inn on Biltmore as part of the winter wedding special. The fireworks at midnight were amazing as well. It was a great way to have a fabulous small wedding. The place only holds 30. You get to take photos all over the estate (not in the house though) by having your wedding anywhere on the property. We picked the smallest space we could barely afford. Since my husband wasn't okay with eloping in a tropical paradise, this is the only wedding I was will to have. -

My husband and I were married in the Walled Garden/Conservatory at Biltmore Estate. The grounds were beautiful. I could not ask for more beautiful pictures and our guests were very impressed. I was able to have my fairytale wedding. Melissa was our sales coordinator. She was easy to get a hold of and was very helpful with every step. Our food turned out great and impressed our pickiest guests. It was overall a wonderful experience. -

Our wedding was a complete fairy tale! Our ceremony and reception were both at Lioncrest. There are no words for how breathtaking it was! Our florist completely made the space a dream come true. I would highly recommend having your wedding at Biltmore, but make sure you know email correspondence can be slow at times. Also, at our reception, the Biltmore staff was so accommodating and made sure the bride and groom were well taken care of. Some of our guests were not treated the same way during our open bar at the reception. It was just a negative on the weekend, but just take note. I am so sad the wedding is over now, but we truly had our dream wedding!! -

The Inn on Biltmore Estate was the perfect venue. Although expensive, the beautiful mountain backdrop, the attention to detail, superb food, and service was well worth it. I really liked that having my wedding there really felt like we were getting 3 venues in one: the ceremony was on the Vista, cocktail hour was in the Gallery, and the reception was in the Vanderbilt room. Overall, it was definitely an unforgettable celebration largely due to the Inn on Biltmore Estate's grandeur and staff, especially Ashley who was so patient and helpful from the start of the planning process! -

I proposed to my wife here and we knew we just had to return for our wedding. Though expensive, you really can't beat the quality of the food, service, and beautiful location. We were told by our guests that it was some of the best food they've ever had. They were also raving about the beautiful scenery. Planning the wedding was mostly a smooth process, and our point of contact was very patient through the whole process as we planned every detailed of our destination wedding. I couldn't imagine getting married at any other location. -

The food for our wedding was superb! The catering staff at the Biltmore overall was phenomenal! They did an amazing job timing the food for our wedding day & our cake was gorgeous!
My one complaint would be with our wedding coordinator at the Biltmore - I (the bride) do not eat gluten & while they were able to make sure that all of my guests with special food needs received the correct meals, my meal was not as specified and I don't think that they made a small gluten-free cake for me as we requested. Again, not a complaint with the actual catering, but since the wedding coordinator you receive at the Biltmore is hired by the catering department, I feel this is the proper place to put my complaint.
Other than the aforementioned, the catering staff did a phenomenal job. Everyone at our wedding raved about the food! -

We had a beautiful wedding at the River Bend Barn. The staff was excellent and all the guests had a great time. People commented that the food was the best they had had at a wedding. Everyone had so much fun dancing that I don't think the cake got to be properly reviewed, but as the Bride who had plenty of cake after the tastings I can attest to the quality. The pastry chef did an amazing job creating the cake I wanted. The venue is reasonably priced for the area, but food/bar was expensive. We knew this going into it, and had a small wedding. For us, the cost/value worked out well, but I could see it being way over the top for 100+ people. It was nice to have the food, cake, bar, all taken care of rather than searching for outside caterers. -

I got married on the Diana lawn at the Biltmore. My wedding planner Maura Scarmack made everything a pleasure, but there were some professionalism issues that my mom and I both felt from the coordinator at the Biltmore, Ashley. Ashley didn't really seem she was willing to do a lot to help make things work, and every request we had we felt was met with some attitude and opposition. However, working with Maura made everything so much better because she was able to go to bat for us. Ashley also seemed that she had vendor "favorites" and if you didn't choose these, it was obvious in the conversation. However, the day went off without a hitch, and it was so perfect. -

Our wedding would have been perfect except for a huge serving error made by Biltmore's on-site coordinator. The on-site coordinator and our main contact Maura never acknowledged, apologized or made any amends for the mistake which resulted in a greatly reduced time for planned activities following dinner and guests feeling like the evening was drawn out. Our dinner reception was supposed to start at 7:30pm per our event agenda in the contract. It was like they totally forgot about it until finally my mom asked them to begin serving dinner around 8:30pm. It pushed everything we had planned back. Guests didn't finish dinner until around 9:30pm, which pushed back the time for the toast and forced us to do the cake immediately after. Serving of the cake didn't finish until around 10:15pm, well into the time when dancing was planned. The last few hours of our event ended up being rushed, which was the last thing I wanted. It was very discouraging given all of the time, effort and communications that had gone into planning our wedding with Maura. I had expected a lot more professionalism and accountability from the Biltmore Estate based, especially based on how they advertise/display themselves as a premier venue. -

When we first started working with the Biltmore for our wedding they were wonderful. However, once we signed our contract the person we were working with stopped responding to emails. Everything that she had said would be no issue and did not need to be in writing in the contract ended up being issues. The person we were working with resigned a month or so before our wedding leaving many loose ends. The new person who took over for her was fantastic and resolved our issues. In the end everything was beautiful thanks in large part to her. I would recommend using a wedding planner when dealing with the facility. -

The planning was perfection from start to finish until the day of the wedding - they messed up big time (I won't go into specifics but it majority affected our day). However, once home from the honeymoon, they eventually made it right and all is now forgotten and it still ended up a magical day! -

I had mixed feelings after hosting my wedding at Biltmore Estate. We had our ceremony on The Vista at the Inn and reception at the South Terrace at the house. In the beginning they were extremely responsive and flexible, which was great! But once we got closer to the wedding the communication was seriously lacking. It would take 3 emails plus an email to the catering director to get a response from my assigned coordinator. Besides that, she never made an effort to understand what I wanted/needed for the wedding. She was late to our tasting, and on one occasion told me I just needed to wait because she had other brides to take care of and since their weddings were before mine she had to give them all her attention. OK, I get it - I'm not trying to be bridezilla, but we there are tactful ways to handle situations. All I wanted was an acknowledgement that she received my information after sending 3 emails, and she got snippy with me. In the end I had my planner coordinate all communication to/from Biltmore because I couldn't take the carelessness with which they were handling our wedding. You would think you get what you pay for, but our service was certainly not up to par with the exorbitant price we paid for our wedding. In the end it turned out amazing and beautiful, and they were super flexible with our menu and special requests - but if you pick Biltmore I strongly recommend a planner to help you! -

I absolutely loved my Bitlmore wedding. It was everything I dreamed it would be. However, I would never book another event with them due to the headache that came from coordinating with them. I had a private wedding planner, and the coordinator that the Biltmore provided. My coordinator at the Biltmore was awful. Either she bit off more than she can chew, or the Biltmore needs to provide her with more help. At the beginning of everything, I was treated like a princess. They really try to take care of their brides. Then, towards the end, it was all about how much money you could put out. More money=better service. I want to say, we paid a LOT for my wedding of 100 people, but I know we could have paid a TON more. We tried to do things DIY to cut down on the cost and the Biltmore is not ok with things that don't go through them. Even having my wedding planner do things was not always ok with them. Another issue I had with them was their lack of organization. They were always late collecting payments, getting back to us with emails, etc. However, when it was the other way around, they expected things to happen immediately. It was rather frustrating. The one saving grace in the planning process was being introduced to Matt at the Biltmore. He is an AMAZING person who believes in quality service and care. When hiccups occurred on our big day, he handled them with class and professionalism. I wouldn't change my wedding, and I do not regret it, but I will advise my friends to look for a different venue. -

We had our daughter's wedding at the Biltmore Estate. It was a stunning backdrop. While I enjoyed the interaction we had with our wedding coordinator, unfortunately, they dropped the ball when it came to the attention to detail for that day. If you are going to have your wedding here I would HIGHLY recommend that you use an event planner so someone has your back, and is looking at all of the fine details for that day. It still was a beautiful wedding and I'm sure no one will know the difference but me, but I definitely would have had a event planner if I had it to do over again. Based on the price that we paid I'm not sure if I could recommend them to a friend without a warning. -

While my wedding day was absolutely stunning, getting to that day with the Biltmore staff was tough. They don't seem to communicate well between different departments and it took long amounts of time to get responses back from my wedding coordinator. We paid a premium to get married at the Biltmore, which is to be expected, but I didn't feel like we were valued at all. The hotel staff was very rude to us while we were staying there for our wedding and I just felt like another number to them. I picked the Biltmore because I wanted somewhere special for my husband and I to return to for years to come, however I just don't think we will be going back. -

I find it hard to believe I'm the only bride with a negative experience.Writing this is bringing up bad feelings.I’m guessing that’s what others are trying to avoid.I'm going to write in case I can help even one bride.I don’t want to bash Biltmore;here are the facts. 1.The salad course was not served.Maura tried to blame this on the fact we didn’t have one at our tasting. We were told we weren’t allowed to try salads then. 2.Dinner was to start at 7:30.Appetizers were served at 8:30, entrees at 9:15.Some of our 80 guests were done eating by the time other guests were served. 3.We had a separate kids room during dinner. The wait staff wasn’t aware of this and was scrambling to find meals and served diet sodas. The staff tried to send away my child caregiver, telling her there was not a wedding. We were on the back vista in the middle of the ceremony during this conversation. 4.The cake was plain white with a blue stripe around it.I saw it as I was about to walk down.Luckily, we had some orchids and put some on it.If not, I would have been embarrassed about how plain the cake was.I had a friend get married at the Biltmore and said the same thing about her cake.5.We asked about some tables for the hallway that weren’t there. No menus on the table, despite e-mails about them. Not a big deal if it weren’t combined with everything else. 6.I had asked for the ceremony to be set up a specific way, the chairs in a semi-circle. I asked Maura if I needed to tell my wedding coordinator or the Biltmore. The response was "We will do that and it will look exactly how you envision." 7.Went to get the top of our cake, which had been thrown away.We didn't get to eat any and it wasn’t the flavor we requested. One of the wait staff told a guest we were 1 of 8 weddings that day. That's exactly what I walked away feeling, that we were 1 in a number. We received compensation for the cost of the salad course, an extra $400, and some cookies. You can decide if that was fair compensation. -

Ate there last Saturday night. The buffet was just average but expensive. The bathrooms was very dirty -- no toilet paper, garbage was full, the sinks were dirty and one toilet was backup. -
