This band gets it. From the first call, we knew Bill’s Toupee understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding reception, which was to fly through the formalities and quickly get to the party. And they delivered.
They kept the energy high all night, sounded incredible, and had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the band the next day. Every member brought their own unique flair, and together they created the perfect vibe. Highly recommend!Bill's Toupee's reply:

When we were planning our wedding, we both decided that good food and good music were our priority. A friend recommended BIll's Toupee, and we couldn't be happier that she did!
The manager made sure that we had to format and style just the way we wanted it. The band set up seamlessly, and I didn't have to worry about any of those details on the wedding day.
Our guests absolutely LOVED the band. Guests are still talking about it all these months later. The band was interactive with our guests and a lot of fun to celebrate with. Bonus??? One of the band members took some extra pictures for us of the reception and posted them online so we could see all of the beauty and fun!
If we ever have a big event in the future, I will definitely use them again. And in the meantime, I hope to catch some of their shows around the area.

The Bill's Toupee Band was so much fun at our wedding! They kept everyone dancing and played a good variety of music that appealed to everyone. We made a special request for our entrance song and they worked with us without hesitation to make it happen and it sounded amazing! We had several phone calls with them leading up to the wedding which was great and helped to put us at ease that everything would run smoothly. We also opted for the acoustic guitar for our ceremony which sounded beautiful and was a lovely addition! Would highly recommend Bill's Toupee for your wedding band!!Bill's Toupee's reply:

The Bill’s Toupee Band were the grand finale’ for Rhinebeck Porchfest in 2025. They were a pleasure to deal with from the booking right through the performance. Bills Toupee was the most accommodating and most fun band! They truly made our whole wedding! Bill's Toupee band was the best decision we could've made for our big day. The team was communicative, organized, friendly, high energy and professional. Their talent created a joyful atmosphere, preforming all of our requested reception songs live - Just The Way You Are (Billy Joel), My Girl (The Temptations), Thought You Should Know (Morgan Wallen), Harvest Moon (Neil Young), and Unwritten (Natasha Bedingfield). The pianist even surprised us with a special bridal procession of 2009 by Mac Miller - the sentimental cherry on top for us! The dance floor was never empty and the team interacted with the guests all night long, even coming out from the stage to preform alongside them. If you’re considering Bill's Toupee, stop thinking and BOOK THEM. They are the real deal, worth every penny, and will elevate your wedding in a way a playlist simply can’t.Bill's Toupee's reply:

Bill’s Toupee played at our wedding last week and they were fantastic! Everyone loved the music - and they put on a great show. For example, the bassist and guitarist both had wireless guitars so moved around the dance floor which was a lot of fun! They humored a couple of guests who wanted to sing - and set up the groom to set up a surprise song! We also had them DJ the ceremony and cocktail hour, and they did the MCing too. Mike was our main contact and he was so enthusiastic and clearly loves his job. Thank you all so much!Bill's Toupee's reply:

When my now husband and I were planning our wedding in just three months, one thing I knew for sure was that I wanted a live band. After reading glowing reviews, I found The Bill's Toupee Band—and even though their website (http://www.billstoupee.com/index.shtml) didn’t quite showcase how truly phenomenal they are, I took a leap of faith. And wow, did they deliver!
I’ll be honest—because there weren’t many videos or pictures online, I started second guessing myself. I even sent my parents to see them live at Resorts World just to confirm we were making the right choice… and they came back raving. From that moment on, I felt a little more at ease. But nothing could have prepared us for how incredible they were on the night of our wedding.
They completely exceeded our expectations. We had planned for them to play during dinner, thinking it would be nice background music while people ate… nope! The dance floor was PACKED before salads even hit the table. And when they took their break during dinner, I swear our guests rushed through their meals just so they could get back out there and dance again! Some probably would’ve skipped dinner altogether just to keep dancing!
They kicked things off with a surprise rendition of Sweet Caroline for my sister Caroline’s birthday—and from that moment, they had the entire room in the palm of their hands. They read the crowd perfectly and chose songs that had everyone from kids to grandparents on their feet all night long. And we didn’t even give them a “must play” list—they just got it.
Every single guest has mentioned how amazing the band was, and I already know of a few people who plan to reach out to book them for their own events. They truly made our wedding unforgettable, and I can honestly say the night would not have been the same without them.
If you’re considering hiring The Bill’s Toupee Band—this review alone should convince you. Just look at the list of awards they’ve earned (and rightfully so!). They’re not just a wedding band—they’re a party-starting, crowd-reading, unforgettable EXPERIENCE. Book them. You will not regret it!

FANTASTIC! Bill's Toupee absolutely crushed it on the stage during our wedding: the band sounded incredible, the MC'ing was perfect, and even the lights were brilliantly done. Finding a great live band was so important to my husband and I, and Bill's Toupee was better than we could have imagined. They were communicative throughout the booking and planning stages, plus answered all my questions in a reasonable timeframe, and we had a packed dance floor all night long. Highly recommend! -

If you are considering Bill's Toupee for your wedding, STOP considering and book them right now! This incredibly talented and fun group of musicians absolutely transformed our day. We booked the band in Fall 2023 for our June 2024 wedding. They were great to work with, and super flexible. We also hired them for our ceremony AV and music, and they even learned "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" for me to walk down the aisle to! They did an incredible job moving our day along, MCing speeches, and finally, giving an incredible concert for us and all of our guests to dance to all night! The sound and lighting were perfect, we didn't have to worry about a thing. True professionals, so much fun, and so talented. -

We made the best decision by hiring Bill’s Toupee for our wedding weekend! In the months leading up to the wedding, the band manager Mike was incredibly responsive, collaborative, and accommodating. I could tell the band was committed to making sure our wedding night would be very special and exceed our expectations…and it absolutely did! Our guests were on the dance floor all night long and we received so many compliments at our reception about how amazing the band was. On top of all being very talented musicians, the band members are all very kind and wonderful people. We are so appreciative of everything and highly recommend Bill’s Toupee for any couple looking for wedding entertainment. -

Bill's Toupee absolutely blew our expectations out of the water!! Our dance floor was packed all night, the older folks even got up for a few songs! Every member of the band is extremely talented. They have multiple lead singers, and I especially loved the saxophone - such a fun unexpected addition to current songs! They were easy to work with, responsive and their price is unbeatable for the level of talent! They charge half as much as some other bands in the area, which made me a little apprehensive if I'm being honest. They absolutely blew our expectations out of the water! They put on a killer show at an amazing price and I am so happy we hired them! They handled our ceremony music and played beautiful acoustic music pre-ceremony. We made a playlist for our cocktail hour and dinner, but they happily made sure our music played at the right times. Everything was perfect, they made our wedding so fun, I can't recommend them enough! -

From the groom: Bill’s toupee was an amazing band in general, not just a wedding band. They played all the hits and got the crowd to have a phenomenal time. Every guest had a positive thing to say about the band, and we had a pretty eclectic group of people at our wedding. The amount of soreness in my legs and back from dancing and hoarseness of voice from all the yelling and cheering is a testament to their ability to rock the crowd for hours on end. When my wife asked me if we should add another half hour, I couldn’t say yes faster. From a musicians point of view, they were tight and really seemed to enjoy playing with each other. I can’t say enough things about every member of Bill’s Toupee and would recommend them a million times. If you guys are seeing this, thank you for helping make our wedding the best night of our lives!
As the bride adding a quick note - Mike and the band were so easy to work with!! Didn’t pressure sell me with date scarcity and were always super pleasant and quick to respond but also very low key and didn’t need to be micromanaged lol. One of my favorite vendors to work with and when meeting them it all made sense!!! They also took requests patiently and were so so nice even as they were packing the up and winding down the night even after adding the extra time on a whim (it was a no brainer!)

We are so happy we went with Bill's Toupee for our wedding. They were incredible from the acoustic guitar in our ceremony to rocking the house in our reception. They had everyone dancing and singing! Just got married last weekend - we had found Bill's Toupee over a year ago, saw them play at a show in Monticello, and then booked them immediately.
In the month leading up to the wedding, we had multiple phone calls with the band's lead, Mike Andrews. He was super accomodating and helpful in ensuring us how the day and timeline would go. We opted out of father-daughter dances and requested they play a song from Rent, the Musical (our friends are theater nerds) and when they played it, the crowd went absolutely wild! Additionally, I requested that they close out the evening with "Last Dance" by Donna Summer which they absolutely nailed. Our friends had the BEST time and lots of guests have commented about how great the band was! 10/10 would hire them again! -

When my husband and I first started searching for a wedding band, we came across many bands that were represented by a company or a talent cooperative; these bands were out of our budget and we weren't sure what the value-add would be to this arrangement. We decided to book Bill's Toupee directly after watching their videos and reading through their 5 star reviews, and we honestly couldn't be happier with our decision. Michael was a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process - he answered my emails (there were A LOT of them) quickly and thoughtfully. Our ceremony and cocktail hour live music was beautiful and the reception music was UNBELIEVABLE. Our family and friends are still raving about the band and our wedding was almost a month ago. They played to the crowd masterfully and had everyone constantly on the dance floor having the time of their lives. We had also requested a few salsa songs and I was able to signal to the band when I wanted those played. Everything was just so seamless and wonderful. Hiring Bill's Toupee was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we are so grateful to each of the band members for contributing so much to our special day! -

It's been a month since our wedding and we are still getting messages from family and friends about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Mike, the keyboard player and manager of the band, was super easy to work with right from the beginning. He's done this hundreds, if not thousands of times and his advice to us was not only helpful in the planning process but absolutely true on the day of our wedding! The whole band played so well together, giving the whole night an amazing energy and vibe. They played a great mix of songs that got every single table up and dancing.
Truthfully, the music and dancing were so fun, that we barely sat down to have dinner and we missed dessert entirely! Bill's Toupee is that rare mix of professionalism and talent. They were flexible, willing to listen to all of our requests ahead of time, and they even learned one of my favorite songs, "How Long Will I Love You" for the processional. It was a very special moment, made possible by their enthusiasm and talent. You will be in the best of hands, and will have one less thing to worry about. Do yourself a favor and bring Bill's Toupee to your wedding or party! -

What can I say about Bill's Toupee! I was referred to them from a co worker and let me say can they keep a party going. Mike ( Keyboard and manager) was a pleasure to speak with when discussing the wedding, the music and any request. He can tickle the ivory! Bob (the drummer) what a kick ass drummer. WOW! Mike A. (Guitarist) played during my cocktail reception and rocked the house during the reception. John (vocals) MC'd and also was on the floor singing with my guest and singing with Delecia (vocals) who's vocal range was mind blowing. A guest came up to me and said "I though it was a recording till I realized she was live!" Ricky (bassets/ vocals) What an amazing basset/singer ! He, Delecia and John we interacting with guest, me and on the floor with us! They kept the party with high energy, fun, dancing and amazing music! I had a blast with them. You should see them live. Thank goodness I can see them when ever they play at local events! So, my party time with them wont just stop at my wedding! Follow them on Facebook! Ricky, the basset also captured some of my wedding on photo and video! Which meant the world to me he shared them on their page. Since I have not seen any photos from my wedding these were some of the first, and the first videos I saw. It made my day! I love this band! From cocktail hour to last dance it was top notch and best band a Bride and Groom can ask for! I look forward in seeing them again at local events! -

Bill's Toupee was the perfect choice for our wedding ! They were playing music for us from the start of the ceremony up until the end of the night and it was amazing ! They got everyone up on the dance floor dancing the night away. It is obvious that this band has been playing together for many years and they are a set band thats strives for excellence. Mike the band leader was highly organized from top to bottom and even helped us play some one-off requests last minute. We could not have been happier with the band choice we made and would ALWAYS welcome them back for additional parties and events to come. They are professional, passionate and kind and will bring all the fun to your wedding reception. We are so glad that we chose Bill's Toupee over a typical agency band because they music and entertainment was absolutely perfect and we cannot thank them enough for their amazing performances. -

Jordan Sent on 01/15/2018We are so happy we selected Bill’s Toupee as our wedding band. I knew I wanted a band as I think they are classier and more personalized than a DJ. They even performed years ago at my aunt’s wedding! They sounded great and got our guests pumped all night long; I’ve never been to a wedding where people were dancing before dinner was served! We had a special request for our first dance song - Budapest by George Ezra - and they delivered! It was beautifully performed and afterwards we got a ton of compliments. It was also great they travelled from the Hudson Valley up to our venue in Albany. I would pick this band again and again! They might have a silly name, but they are the best wedding band around!!

There is not enough space here to tell you how much we LOVE Bill’s Toupee and all their members. We have worked with them twice for our wedding(s) and both times we could not stop moving! From the start, Michael Andrews will be your go to person and you will feel like you have gained a friend after speaking with him. He is so patient and sweet; gives options but does not push anything! Days before the wedding we were trying to decide what we wanted for announcements and he let us talk it out while on the phone. Ha, we even changed a few things the day of and Johnny rolled along with us! Nothing was a problem. Mike and Johnny really helped the day run smoothly. From chatting beforehand, practicing everyone’s names and then ensuring the music was just what we wanted -- we feel truly blessed to have worked with them. Then the music, ah *chef’s kiss* was phenomenal! Most of them sing, which gives plenty of different sounds, but I must shout out Delecia (lead vocalist) as she has the voice of an angel! She even danced with friends and family (haha our nephew loved dancing with her!) as she was singing! What a rockstar! Now she is not the only one who brings the party, as they all do so in their own ways! Ricky was sure to take some of his own photos (which is so nice to have another viewpoint → top of the dance floor… yes please!) and play an energizing bass solo that keeps everyone on their feet! And all of the music wouldn’t have been as catchy had Bobby and Lucas not kept an awesome beat! I really cannot imagine the day without each person, as they all brought their best selves and musical talents to the day! Our family and friends (young and old-ish) were on the floor nonstop. What more could you ask for? If you have not booked Bill’s Toupee yet DO IT! You will not regret it. Hoping to visit one of their local shows when we are back in the area! -

Bill's Toupee was reviewed as one of the best in the Hudson Valley and we agree! They helped make our wedding day so much fun that our wedding was called "Party of the Year".
