This family-owned and operated venue exceeded every expectation and delivered a level of care, sincerity, and expertise that left us speechless. From start to finish, Lisa, Victoria, and Christina were nothing short of phenomenal.
From our very first meeting to the final moments of our celebration, they treated us like part of their family. Every detail was handled with thoughtfulness and precision—from decor and catering to timeline coordination, vendor recommendations, and bar service. Their willingness to step in and go above and beyond made our day seamless and magical.
The venue itself is a true gem. The stunning architecture created a fairytale-like atmosphere that felt otherworldly. Every corner of the castle offered a unique and breathtaking backdrop, making it a dream come true.

Amazing experience!
We had an incredible experience with Bill Miller's. This was the first place we toured, and after searching around Connecticut, we knew this was the right fit. If you're looking for a venue with a barn/castle style and don't want the traditional country club/ballroom venue, this is a great option. We worked with Victoria, and she truly made our wedding day the best day ever! She was very organized and approachable. She made sure everyone in the wedding party felt comfortable on the day of the wedding. The venue is great for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours. I would recommend choosing a photographer who is familiar with the venue as there are a lot of considerations with lighting and dark wood. We had guests from multiple cultures, and everyone had a great time! All the staff on the day of the wedding were very kind and accommodating.

Can’t say enough about this venue!
We had our wedding at Bill Miller’s in September and words can’t describe what an incredible event it was. We originally had 3 other locations booked to tour and immediately canceled them after leaving our initial tour and meeting. There wasn’t another venue that could replicate the charm and unique vibe that is Bill Miller’s Castle and we weren’t convinced any other venue would come with someone as passionate, yet professional as Victoria! Throughout the planning process Victoria and her team were attentive, easy to communicate with, and had a solution to any potential issue that may arise (including the oh-so-fun mixing of personalities amongst the families). The day of the wedding we had ZERO issues and everything went exactly how we pictured, which is almost unheard of but Victoria and her team pulled it off! All of our guests raved about the food and the venue, there wasn’t a single negative thing to say. If I had to go back and decide again, I would choose Bill Miller’s Castle over and over!!

Incredible Medieval Experience
Without a doubt, we have absolutely zero regrets about having our wedding at Bill Miller's. Leading up to the wedding all the way to the day of, the staff there was absolutely incredible, Victoria especially, in making sure that everything ran smoothly and that there was no stress. La Luna caters and the food was absolutely delicious! There were so many different packages to choose from so we were able to find one that worked within our price range. For 185 guests there was plenty of space and it didn't feel at all cramped. And it is really a one of a kind building and there's nothing quite like it. Made from repurposed materials from all around Connecticut it tells an incredible story and absolutely decorates itself! Cannot say enough great things about it!

Best Venue (and Staff) for the Big Day
When my wife told me she wanted to get married in a castle, I did not think we would find that on this side of the Atlantic. Thankfully, I was wrong about that; the hard part would be finding the venue that offered the desired atmosphere with the right team to ensure our big day went perfectly. After visiting several potential event spaces on the east coast, we found ourselves touring Bill Miller’s Castle.
Lisa Miller and the rest of the team at this family-owned and operated venue were the key to bringing this beautiful atmosphere to life. It was their commitment to making sure our wedding went perfectly that assured us we made the right choice; they had the right menu, planning expertise, and flexible day-of management (it rained which brought us inside rather than outside – apparently this is good luck btw). This team was the magic sauce that transformed the backdrop of this space into a living fairytale where we truly felt like royalty on our big day.

10/10 Perfect Venue
Bill Miller’s Castle is an absolutely stunning venue. It’s warm, romantic, and picturesque - the kind of place that wows guests the moment they arrive. From the food to the attentive staff to the beautiful setting, everything there is incredible.
As a couple getting married here earlier this month, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team at BMC did everything they could to help us bring our vision to life. We worked primarily with Lisa, but also with Victoria and a handful of other staff leading up to and on our wedding day. Everyone was kind, organized, and incredibly helpful - they went to every length to make sure that we could have the *perfect* wedding day, and we truly did. Planning with them was stress-free: they were clear and transparent about pricing from the get-go, and even down to the big day, they had a plan or backup plan for absolutely everything and handled it all seamlessly - us, our families, and all the little details that make a wedding run smoothly. We are so grateful we chose Bill Miller’s Castle. It was truly the perfect backdrop for our wedding and a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Our guests will not stop raving about how perfect it was!

Amazing Wedding Experience
From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds of Bill Miller's Castle, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff were incredibly attentive and so kind throughout the entire planning process. They listened to every concern we had and worked tirelessly to ensure everything was exactly as we had envisioned. When we faced some unexpected rain on the day of, they were communicative with us every step of the way as we decided what to do, and never once forced us into anything. Instead, they were incredibly encouraging and helped us create a beautifully curated, open, and spectacular indoor ceremony that exceeded all of our expectations. A beautifully unique venue
Bill Miller’s Castle was an absolute dream venue to host our wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous, eclectic, cozy, and more than large enough to accommodate our roughly 130 guests. The staff was absolutely incredible and bent over backwards to make sure our day was perfect. Our day-of coordinator Victoria was a rockstar who seemed to be everywhere at once making sure that everything went exactly as it was supposed to. Victoria was exceptionally helpful and communicative throughout the entire process and made us feel comfortable that everything would go to plan. We had a wonderful planning meeting with her shortly before our wedding date to make sure that all of our vendors were on the same page. The food was also insanely good! We felt like royalty at our sweetheart table enjoying our first meal together as a married couple. We cannot recommend a venue more fervently than we recommend Bill Miller’s Castle!

Beautiful venue, even better staff.
We just had our wedding on 11/30/24. We were stunned by how smoothly everything went from the initial virtual tour, to the ceremony and reception on our wedding day. The food was phenomenal, the venue is spacious and with almost 200 guests, we never felt cramped, huge dance floor, and gorgeous and large bridal suite. Victoria was an unbelievable coordinator, accommodated all of our needs, and the bar and service staff were wonderful as well. Our ceremony was indoors, it was exactly on time, and so beautiful with the chandeliers and fireplace. We have not stopped talking about how perfect the venue was.

The dream wedding!
We had our dream wedding!!! The venue is one of a kind and so special!! The Italian food vendor we selected delivered such amazing food!! Our guests were totally in love with their desserts and sweets as well!
Victoria and all the staff at Bill Miller's treated us as family from start to finish! We were out of towner and totally OCD so we had SO MANY questions and requests but they treated us with great patience, they were accommodating, and ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, they had a list of vendors to recommend, they were so organized. I'd just say pull the trigger and have a wedding there!!

Exceptional every step of the way!
If you have the means to, choose Bill Miller's as your venue! My now husband and I were treated like royalty from the first tour to our wedding day. We were never without a beverage and were well fed (almost too full!). Mary was our coordinator, and was never hard to reach. We chose this venue for a few reasons: we would have the venue for the whole day to ourselves, all-inclusive with fantastic food and great drinks, a solid indoor/rain option for the ceremony, and a coordinator was included. Bill Miller's really made our day seamless and everything was incredible.

From the moment we first saw Bill Miller’s Castle we knew my daughter’s wedding needed to be there. I can’t say enough about how incredible this venue is. Lisa and her staff were incredible. Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience planning my wedding and at my wedding! Mary was our wedding coordinator and she was an absolute angel sent from above! She went above and beyond for us throughout the whole planning and on our wedding day! Honestly planning would have been a TON more stressful without Mary! Amazing wedding venue!
We had the best night of our lives having our wedding reception at The Bill Millers Castle. Lisa and all her staff were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure our day was as seamless and perfect as it could be. All the stress instantly was taken off the day of the wedding because I knew we were in good hands. They were so responsive to any questions we had and very helpful with making the day just as we imagined. Even the day of I made a request for a special drink and without hesitation they made that happen! I could not recommend this venue more for weddings. Not only are they amazing but the space itself is magical. I felt like a fairytale princess in a castle!! All of our guests still can't stop raving about the night and the beautiful venue. If I could go back in time I would not change a thing about that night or where we had the wedding.

Having my wedding at Bill Millers was the BEST decision my husband and I made. We had the most incredible experience from the day we toured it to the final seconds at the venue on our wedding night. On our wedding night, Vic and Lisa (and the entire staff) were so helpful in every way possible, they were thoughtful and really helped make the event go smoothly. They were 10 steps ahead of me in all my thoughts and had a plan for each and every part of the day. They made sure my husband and I had time to ourselves to take it all in, they made sure we ate, had our drinks ready for us at all times, and checked in with us to make sure we were having the night of our dreams. Literally the best venue with the best people!
Mary (our day of coordinator) was absolutely amazing. She walked us through the whole process, answered all of our questions, had no problem with us texting when a random question or thought popped up regarding the wedding. The most perfect venue EVER
We have to say a major thank you to Mary and the entire Bill Miller’s team. They all made our day quite literally perfect — we are so grateful! We felt so present, so calm, and just so happy the entire time and that is all due to the staff at this venue. A moment we’ll remember forever was being able to enjoy a private moment during cocktail hour to eat all the delicious food, look out over our cocktail hour, and enjoy each other’s company before the big party! Our families and guests were also so happy with the kind staff (coordinators, bartenders, waitstaff, beyond!) and we received so many compliments on the beautiful venue. A special shout-out to Mary, Lisa, and Victoria for having our backs the whole day. The food as well was fantastic -- don't skip the filet for dinner, the mashed potato bar, or the raw bar!!!

An amazing one-of-a-kind wedding!
Bill Miller's castle was the absolute best choice we could have made for our wedding! The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, and has the major plus of having equally beautiful locations for both indoor and outdoor weddings, which was a big deal for us since it ended up raining on our big day!
The organizer, Victoria, is absolutely amazing, and they are also somewhat dog-friendly, so that my little wiener dog could celebrate with us on our big day!

A Unique Wedding Venue
I cannot say enough good things about Bill Miller’s Castle. It is truly a unique venue – not your typical banquet hall or stark white ballroom. This place has so much character, charm and personality all on its own. And Lisa (the owner) and her staff are absolutely fabulous – they take care of everything and really made sure my husband and I were present for our big day. Everyone says your wedding day goes by so fast that you miss everything and we truly didn’t feel that way – we really were able to take it all in and enjoy every moment (Lisa even made sure we ate!). The food and drinks are phenomenal – our guests raved about the giant portions of perfectly cooked prime rib, top-shelf well-made drinks and a Viennese hour fit for royalty (the chocolate shot glasses with dessert liquor assortment were my favorite touch). Our wedding day exceeded our already high expectations and Lisa and the team at Bill Miller’s created a day that will live on in our memories for a lifetime.

The wedding of our dreams!
From start to finish, our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle was nothing short of amazing! We first toured the venue through zoom! It was the height of the pandemic and I remember thinking as Victoria gave us a great tour, this place is special (even over zoom!). I didn't realize how special until we really started the wedding process. We had a 2 year engagement and Victoria was so responsive and so wonderful answering all my questions throughout the 2 years. She remembered me and made everything so personal. At points she would say, "I think you would like....". Which for me was huge. She made recommendations based off my style and our past discussions. I wasn't just a number and It was way more than what I was expecting. She even took time to email breweries in CT and MA to ask about getting some of our favorite beers on tap. Overall they made the planning process super easy and seamless. The day of was a dream. They say, "prepare for something bad to happen-it always does." Well, nothing happened. It was perfect! They even allowed our goldendoodle to be in the wedding! That was HUGE and was so special to us he could be apart of our big day. Our team of people were absolutely fabulous, but none of it could have gone smoothly without Victoria and Lisa. The whole Bill Miller's family was there preparing for our big day. Lisa was supposed to leave early, but she stayed way longer and even waited with me right before I walked down the aisle to ease my nerves. They all felt like family (& still do!). It's been 4 months since our big day and people are STILL talking about it. They all rave to us about the food and atmosphere. Majority of our guests that we talked to say that was THE best food they have ever had at a wedding. What also was extra special to myself and my family was Victoria making sure our families did not miss any big moments (like the cake cutting and showing the dessert table-people loved the big cannoli!). She tracked everyone down in that big venue to bring them to us-amazing! She also went around to all the family members making sure we were never without a drink. My mom said, "I don't think she stopped moving". I'm just still in shock and awe of them and forever grateful for making this the best wedding experience a girl could ask for. It was worth every penny!

They made our dream wedding come to life!
We got married at Bill Millers Castle in December 2022 and the entire experience from beginning to end was amazing. Our coordinator was Victoria, and she was so helpful and responsive. Anytime I wasn’t sure about something, she gave me options and advice. It resulted in the most magical wedding we could have asked for. And on the day of, her and the rest of the staff handled everything and we were able to just enjoy our day. Afterwards our guests couldn’t stop raving about how cool the venue was and how delicious the food was. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who asks.

Working with Lisa Miller was half of the experience. She was so easy to work with and made the planning experience so fun! No matter how many times we called her, she was equally as friendly and enjoyable. She genuinely wanted our special day to go perfectly. My guests have commented that they never saw a bride have so much fun at her wedding and I can attest that to Lisa and how stress free she made everything for me! The castle is so magical, it really brings everyone together and makes the love spread. I had the best experience and I was so sad my night at the castle was over, so much so, I cried saying by to Lisa! I can’t recommend Bill Miller’s Castle enough to all of the future brides out there. Our wedding was during wind/ice storm and half of the town lost power, but I would have never known based on how calm Lisa kept it. I had no worry that everything would be okay even if we did lose power. I wouldn’t change a thing about my experience!!

Amazing. A must-see before booking somewhere else.
Bill Miller's Castle has given us such an amazing wedding experience that we will hold close to our hearts forever. The venue itself is just gorgeous - from the lighting to the woodwork, to the fireplaces - it is just the ideal setting for wedding pictures. The staff are just as good as the venue itself as they made us feel like King & Queen for the day by bringing us appetizers during photos, bringing our dinner directly to the table, and bringing us drinks no matter where we were throughout the night. They made sure everything went smoothly from the day we signed the contract and put down our deposit. They truly cared about us and what we wanted our day to look like, and it was so nice to have someone understand what you want and deliver on that. All of our guests raved about the food and drinks and complimented our venue. We wish we could relive our wedding day here as it turned out so perfect. We had about 150 people and they made it seem effortless with how smooth everything went that night. I would recommend anyone considering another venue to take a tour of Bill Miller's first as we were so overwhelmed with how beautiful the castle is once you are inside. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful venue with exceptional staff!
When looking at wedding venues, we were looking for something different than your typical ballroom setting. The minute we saw Bill Millers Castle, we knew this was the place. The grounds are incredibly well-kept and every corner of the castle was unique. The decor at the castle from the mantle decorations to the flowers chosen were all carefully thought out. We worked with Mary and Victoria and their ability to make all of our dreams come true and take our crazy requests and turn them into reality was amazing. They were professional, responsive, understanding and thorough with everything. We would request Bill Miller's Castle to anyone looking for a fairy-tale wedding venue. We love this place and the staff!

I would get married a thousand times over if it meant having it at Bill Millers Castle! The venue is gorgeous! Victoria was amazing to work with, always responded to my crazy emails at 11pm, supported me along the way, and gave us the best day of our lives! I got SO many compliments on the food and everyone loved buffet style. I love that it is family owned too. The bridal suite was awesome - it is a MUST to get the whole experience. I cannot recommend Bill Millers enough, hands down best venue out there!!

Perfection
I had my wedding here last September and it was an absolute dream. I still get compliments on how beautiful this venue was whenever my wedding is brought up in conversation. The food was delicious (which I feel can be rare at weddings haha) and the bridal suite is unreal. It’s huge so everyone was comfortable and spread out while getting ready and it’s very private which is great whenever you needed a minute to step away. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Victoria as our coordinator and she was awesome. She was always available when we needed her and made the whole planning process so easy despite us living in NYC. Without her, I don’t think I would’ve felt so relaxed on the big day. She made sure everything was absolutely perfect and I can’t thank her enough. I highly recommend Bill Millers for your wedding or event, people will be talking about it for years to come.

From the moment we walked in my son and now wife loved the whole feel of the venue. They are both artists and it was the perfect venue for their wedding. Absolutely Amazing Venue
I didn’t know that when my fiancé and I booked Bill Miller’s, that we were getting more than a wedding venue. We were being welcomed open armed into the Miller family. Lisa and Victoria worked endlessly to help make my vision come to life. Everything about this venue is exceptional. I went to two tastings with them, and the food at my wedding was even better than it was at either of the tastings. The staff was incredible. Our bartender, Deb, knew everyone’s drink order after the first time ordering. My family is still talking about how much they loved her! Mary made sure I was being taken care of the entire day. She brought us drinks and food from cocktail hour as we took pictures, she served us dinner, and made sure we had everything we wanted. And last but not least, the absolute beauty of this castle is astounding. My guests were blown away and are still talking about it almost a week later. As we hugged Lisa and Victoria goodbye the day after the wedding, it was hard not to cry. They worked so closely with me and felt like such a big part of our lives for the entire wedding planning process. I absolutely recommend Bill Miller’s Castle for an incredible, memorable wedding.

A must see
I took the lead with wedding planning, but my now husband had one request, to put Bill Miller's Castle on the venue list for consideration. I checked it out and decided to add it to the list to humor him, but was certain it would not end up being our venue. We made an appointment to visit, and in person, WOW! Bill Miller's is a whole MOOD. It won me over in person with its charm and character. If you're not sold on the pictures I definitely recommend checking it out in person before you cross it off your list.
The staff was amazing. Our family is still raving about how smoothly everything went and how supported and prepared they felt on the day of. BMC thought of everything and made sure to take good care of all of the logistics and our family's needs. Sometimes you don't realize how stressful it can be for family as well, so it helps to have the BMC team to lean on to help organize family and make sure they know where they are going and what to do. Huge thank you to Mary who was a blast to be around on the day of, and so patient and helpful throughout the planning process! All of my vendors who had worked at BMC before confirmed that we were in great hands there and really didn't need additional day of coordination (which is usually not the case when you book a venue that includes coordination!)
The bridal/getting ready suite is another star of the show in my opinion. You spend so much of the wedding day getting ready and you really want a big, comfortable space to do it in. BMC has that, and more, it's beautiful up there! The only downside is that only your wedding party gets to see how AWESOME it is up there! I still tell people besides our ceremony, getting ready may have been my favorite part of the day.
The outdoor space is amazing, and the grand entrance you make coming down from the upper balcony is really show stopping and dramatic. It gave my family goosebumps.
The food was great, the open bar was perfect, and the desserts were really next level. We also sprung for the raw bar which was a big hit.
Highly recommend!

The Best Venue!
Bill Miller's Castle was the absolute best place to get married. The staff took their time to not only help hand in hand with our planning process, but also took care of every detail on our big day! Victoria was our coordinator and answered all of my many questions happily. They were so accommodating even with all of the changes throughout COVID and truly made the day everything we wanted and more. The venue itself is remarkable, and our guests were absolutely blown away with it's uniqueness. The food provided by La Luna was delicious, and we got so many comments in the days and weeks that followed our big day. We decided to upgrade to the Venetian "table" for dessert and were blown away to enter an entire ROOM full of every dessert you could think of. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside and the grounds were immaculately cared for. We also decided to upgrade to the grand suite which made for such a fun morning for all of the girls getting ready together! I thought I would have to set up my decorations the morning-of, but Lisa took care of every detail and placed everything exactly where it would work best. We loved every second of our time with Bill Miller's Castle and HIGHLY recommend.

Perfect in Every Way!
The moment we toured Bill Miller’s Castle we knew it was where we would get married. The place is so unique and beautiful. Dark wood and antiques everywhere, so much character and history. It is a breathtaking venue inside and out.
We worked with Victoria to book, plan, and execute our wedding and everyone who dealt with her throughout the process just adored her. She is friendly, kind, always responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. She was efficient, had answers to everything, and eased so much of our stress. We had no concerns whatsoever about what was happening around us on the wedding day because we knew that all would go as planned with Victoria at the helm.
The food was excellent. Everyone we talked to during the reception raved about it and about how beautiful the venue was.
We just had a magical weekend and Bill Miller’s Castle was such an integral part of that. We wouldn’t change a thing and we can’t recommend it enough to other couples!

Everything we could have asked for!
This place is a dream. When we were first engaged my fiancé (now husband) and I looked at 11 venues in Connecticut and this was the first place we looked it... with each visit to other venues it became clear Bill Millers is the place for us. On top of its unique charm and gorgeous interior and exterior, it offered on stop shop! Almost everything can be provided or rented through them! As a couple with two full time careers and a young daughter this was huge for us! I have to mention how gorgeous the rainy day option is. We really wanted to not have to worry about the weather considering anything can happen in New England. The outside garden is lovely and we are so thankful we had a sunny day, but if it was raining the indoor ceremony option was just as nice. Victoria was our wedding coordinator and was a champ through out the planning process; which included helping us get through delaying the wedding a year due to Covid. She made everything stress free and answered our many questions promptly and with patience. I cannot thank her enough for her help! The bridal suite is one of the amazing selling points for this place! Its absolutely worth the small up charge to be in one location with your ladies all day while everything gets set up around you. There was plenty of space for 2 hair stylists, 1 make up artist, 2 moms, 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and my daughter to all get ready! The food was amazing!! Everyone raved about it! We did buffet style and had the mashed potato bar which was a hit! And the lovely staff made sure the groom and I sat to eat which is often something that gets missed. I wouldn't do anything different. The day went perfectly and smoothly and that is no doubt due to Victoria and her teams effort! Even as my cake almost collapsed, Victoria and the staff was able to swiftly take care of it and save everyone's dessert!

The experience we had at Bill Miller’s Castle was beyond what we could have imagined. The venue is amazing and Lisa, Victoria and Mary are Godsends. They were with us every step of the way from planning to execution. They were around the entire day making sure we had everything we needed whether it was what we were drinking, bringing us appetizers while doing pictures, to cleaning up after our messy selves. Absolutely amazing experience and wouldn’t recommend anywhere but here to be married!

Victoria was incredibly easy to work with and responsive as we navigated through COVID together. She kept us up to date on new COVID guidelines and gave us options so we could make the decisions on guest count, plating, ceremony, etc. Bill Miller’s had not only attentive staff, but amazing food and great vendor recommendations. The venue is beautiful and well-maintained. All our guests were extremely impressed by the whole event. Victoria was with us every step of the way and we never had to wonder what was going on or if something was being taken care of. She also made sure my husband and I were staying hydrated and eating food through the event so we stayed attentive to our guests and had an amazing night to remember!

Dream Wedding!
I can't say enough good things about Bill Miller's Castle. We had our wedding on New Year's Eve and it was the most perfect night that we could have ever asked for. Lisa and Victoria were both incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. They quickly responded to every question I had throughout the process and handled everything the day of so I had nothing to think about. They set up the space exactly how we had hoped, and the entire experience was seamless. We used the bridal suite to get ready and had plenty of space to do everything we needed for hair, makeup, lunch, getting dressed, etc (with 8 bridesmaids!) Our guests all had an amazing time and told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding - from the delicious appetizers, to the large entrees, to the incredible Venetian room with every dessert imaginable. They all loved the unique ambiance at the castle, with something cool to find in every corner of the space. At midnight, we watched the ball drop on a large screen and had a champagne toast on the massive dance floor. Everything was truly magical, and I highly recommend a wedding - especially on NYE - at Bill Miller's Castle!

Bill Millers helped make my day the best day
We had our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle 6/15/19 and the Bill Millers Castle team truly made it the best day ever. From the first day, they made the planning easy with so much detail in the finances, scheduling, and most of all they made us feel comfortable. Victoria answered all of my questions any day of the week and updated me on what should be done next and were able to easily make appointments with me to stop by the castle. Rehearsal was flawless and very direct with the schedule; I’ve been to so many weddings before where rehearsal is the one day thats very messy and I was so happy that the venue I chose was very precise with everything and also made me so excited at each moment. I was reminded by Lisa so many times to just take in the moment and breathe, and that really meant alot to me. When it was finally wedding day, the coordinators were there for me any time I needed, set up my day more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined, brought me beverages, reminded me to take in the moments and eat my dinner haha, and helped make my night I’d never forget. On another note, the castle’s decor is incredible, so authentic and ornate with a photo opp in every corner. I can’t thank the coordinators and other vendors enough, they really made our wedding incredible!

Amazing and magical in every way!
My husband Steve and I got married at Bill Miller's on 12/28/19 and we are still coming down from the cloud we've been on since we arrived at the castle on our wedding day! It's hard to find the words to explain just how wonderful this place is. This was the one and only venue we went to check out after we got engaged. Victoria is truly amazing. She was so easy to talk to and totally understood everything we wanted. Even during our first meeting when we were really unsure about a lot of details, she walked us through everything and all the different options we had. She coordinated everything perfectly so there was absolutely nothing for us to worry about that day. She even made sure Steve and I were served appetizers and we even had food to take home with us! Mary is a new addition to Bill Miller's and she is also so amazing! She stood with me as I was getting ready to walk down the steps / aisle and she even bustled my dress for me AND helped me get out of it at the end of the night! (Lots of tricky buttons!) These two are so incredibly professional. The castle is beyond beautiful, and especially at Christmas time it was just a dream. We didn't have to bring in many extra decorations at all because it was already perfect. The bridal suite is out of this world! I got ready there with my bridesmaids and it was just so perfect. Rich? put some music on for us and made sure we had everything we needed, even brought us tea! So accommodating and kind.
All our guests were so pleased with this venue and everything it had to offer. Everyone raved about the food!!!! Just so so amazing!! We would recommend this venue to anyone for their wedding, it is truly a magical experience that we will never forget. So grateful to Victoria and the whole team at Bill Miller's -- Thank you for making our dreams come true!!

Initially, the location is absolutely gorgeous and is conveniently located just outside of New Haven. Our Wedding Day Felt Magical
Our experience at Bill Miller's castle was wonderful. Working with Victoria was such a a pleasure. From the day she gave us a tour of the castle until our wedding day, you get the sense that she's vested in your wedding, which is not always the case when you're working with wedding vendors where you sometimes start to feel you're just one of a revolving door of wedding couples. We felt so taken care of on our wedding day. The service was top notch. The food was amazing- even better than what we remember having at our tasting. And of course the venue looked amazing. There's so much character at Bill Miller's Castle you don't have to dress it up for it to look magical. Our guests had nothing but good things to say. We're keeping our fingers crossed that someone invites us to their wedding at Bill Miller's so we can experience it again as guests!

From the moment I searched for castle venues for my wedding, Bill Miller's Castle stood out immediately. As soon as I stepped foot in this beautifully unique place, I knew this was it. I told my fiance he would also fall in love with the castle, and he did too! We loved that it's a family run business, and that adds even more to this venue's charm. Victoria was our coordinator and was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to answer any questions, no matter how silly it seemed. Even the day of, she ran the show so that our special day went seamlessly without a hitch. Our guests raved about the delicious and plentiful food and drinks throughout the night for weeks after the wedding. My husband and I would relive that day in a heartbeat! We are eternally grateful to have had a simply magical wedding day.

Live like royalty for your wedding day
Holy Moly! My husband and I got married two days ago and I could not *wait* to write a review. WE HAD THE BEST DAY EVER. From the day we booked Bill Miller's Castle, we knew we had made the right decision. Everyone who was familiar with the venue couldn't be happier to return for our big day. Victoria made the process so smooth - it was the easiest process any couple could ask for. Emails were always promptly answered, no question was silly, and she was ready to help in any way she could! When the big day came, we had a torrential downpour, but I WAS SO GLAD IT DID! The inside ceremony was the perfect intimate yet roomy setting (145 guests) and we felt like absolute royalty from the moment we arrived in the morning until the moment we left. For the money we spent, the service and Victoria and her staff's attention to detail, our guests must have thought we spent x10 what we paid. Our guests raved over our food (we had the castle plated option) and many of them said it was the best wedding they had ever been to - quick to compliment the venue. Thank you again to everyone at Bill Miller's Castle, especially Victoria. You made our dreams come true. We love you!

Flawless and Amazing Wedding
We had our wedding at Bill Miller's Castle on 9/13/2019. The day was perfect, the venue is beautiful, our guest still rant and rave about how unique and captivating the castle decor is. Victoria and the staff were EXTREMELY helpful throughout the entire process, always quick to respond to questions and always available to help and offer advice. My wedding day was flawless and I attribute that to Victoria and her staff. I HIGHLY recommend this venue if you want a stress free, beautiful wedding. You will not regret booking with them!

Our wedding was amazing!
We had our wedding last weekend at the castle and we can’t even express how much fun we had! First of all, the castle is absolutely beautiful! Our guests from near and far were amazed at how amazing and unique the castle is. Most of our guests reached out to us and said it was the best wedding they have been to in a while! Second, we couldn’t have done it without Victoria! She was such a huge part of our wedding process and she kept us all calm through it all. Her and her sister sat with us for hours and answered any questions our families had. She was also there any time I called and needed advice or a question answered. The day of our wedding, she kept me calm and helped us with anything we needed to do! She is honestly the best! Lastly, besides the amazing staff, the castle at night made our pictures AMAZING!!!! The castle at night was literally the coolest thing I have ever seen. Our pictures are wonderful. We HIGHLY recommend Bill Millers Castle. You will be so happy!!!!! I love it!!!

This venue was absolutely stunning. Bill Miller's Castle is worth every penny. Victoria is amazing to work with. She's professional, detail oriented, friendly and goes above and beyond her job to make sure you have the day of your dreams. The venue is stunning inside and outside. The food was delicious. A dream come true!
Bill Miller’s castle is a wedding venue that I thought I could only dream of. It is beautiful, unique, and has a charm unlike any other venue I have ever been to. I knew immediately after I toured that that I needed to get married there!! It was perfectly picturesque in every way imaginable.
Lisa and her staff go above and beyond throughout every aspect of planning. She was attentive, responsive, and flexible (her daughters, too!) Lisa is professional and extremely personable. She made me feel at ease throughout planning and on the day of my wedding. My wedding was one of the best days of my life and I can’t imagine it being as perfect without Lisa, her staff, and the remarkable venue!

As soon as I walked into Bill Miller’s Castle, I knew that was where I wanted to celebrate my marriage. Victoria, Lisa, and the rest of the staff were absolutely incredible to work with. Victoria was there every step of the way to answer questions and help in every way she could. The venue is so beautiful with so many places all over for gorgeous pictures. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the venue and everyone there. The food from La Luna was amazing and the Venetian Room was beautiful and so delicious! I highly recommend BMC!

Best Day Ever!
My husband I are from NH and had been searching all over New England for the perfect venue for our NYE Gatsby wedding and once we set foot in the castle we instantly knew this was the place for us. Lisa and Victoria did everything to make our day perfect. They were so helpful when we needed a last minute display for our desserts and had great insight on how to arrange our decorations. They made our wedding day stress free! All of our guest can not stop talking about how perfect the night was from the food to the champagne towers and everything in between. Would highly recommend choosing Bill Miller's Castle for your wedding if you are looking for a unique venue with an amazing family run team behind it.

Victoria and the entire staff was amazing!! Everything ran smoothly and you did not feel rushed at all, the bridal suite is beautiful and everyone very helpful. If I had to do it all over again i would chose bill millers castle, Victoria and her mom made me so much less nervous and they are truly professionals. My husband and I got married on May 26, 2018 and our reception was held at Bill Miller’s Castle. With its rustic elegance, the Castle gave us the feeling of being Queen and King for the day. While we can’t say enough about the beauty, elegance, and grandness of the place itself, it is the family behind the place that truly made our day. Victoria is the granddaughter of the man that created the beauty that is the castle, and she is amazing! From the moment that we met her, Victoria treated us like family. She was there every step of the way as we decided how we wanted our day to be. We wanted a memorial table for two very important people in our lives that couldn’t be with us and she made that happen. She answered every question that we had quickly and clearly. We knew that no matter what she would make sure that everything went smoothly. My husband was concerned that he would not get to enjoy the cocktail hour food, but we mentioned this to Victoria and she made sure that he had as much as he wanted. He asked a server for some extra bit of one of the foods and she was back within moments with a plate full of the seafood that he wanted (way more than he expected). We have been told many times since the day of our wedding that this was the best wedding that people had been to and some of those people have been to a lot of weddings. The food from La Luna was amazing. Everyone loved the Castle. And we honestly can’t say enough how amazing Victoria was. She made sure that we ate, made sure we had water bottles while we were taking pictures out in the hot sun, and she made sure that we got out on the dance floor and enjoyed ourselves. She was there for anything and everything we needed and honestly, Victoria, her family, and the rest of the staff at Bill Miller’s Castle made our day perfect! They truly made us feel as though we were part of their family and we could not have asked for more. They went above and beyond anything that we could have imagined.

Look no further, it is a lovely property. Lisa is easy to work with and the staff are great. Dinner is to die for and the sound system is professional set up. Bill Miller's Castle was the 2nd venue we visited and we knew right away that we wanted to get married in this place! We had a winter wedding and it was PERFECT! The Christmas decorations and the fire places made the place feel cozy and yet glamorous. The staff is absolutely professional and warm. We even had a snow storm! But, even the storm made the wedding perfect. We have all been to weddings where the food is blah - but not here!! The food is delicious and portions are generous! I also love my wedding cake that came with the package. My guests have been raving about how delicious it was. All in all, this was a perfect place to have my wedding and I HIGHLY recommend it. Weddings can be very stressful but Victoria was so level-headed and professional and made sure that things ran smoothly.

We got married here 10/7/17 and it was nothing short of amazing. Lisa and Victoria are a mother/daughter dynamic duo who truly take the time to get to know their brides to help make your wedding vision a reality. The bridal suite is on point - highly recommended!! Everyone loved the food (salmon with dill sauce was a crowd favorite). The seating layout and the huge dance floor made for a great dance party. The castle and the grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and make for great photo opps! Our guests are still raving about this place - we even had a few couples tell us they want to get married there! My husband and I got married at Bill Miller’s Castle September 30th, 2017. This venue was the first, and ONLY venue we looked at in person. As soon as we walked in for our tour, we fell absolutely in love with the castles charm, and character! The family run venue, Lisa and her daughter Victoria, made us feel so comfortable, and I felt like I could put all my trust in them for my wedding day! There were SO MANY reasons why I ended up choosing Bill Miller’s Castle as my wedding venue; the option of having the ceremony inside or outside (rain or shine), the beautiful spacious bridal suite to get ready in, the large variety of menu packages, the whole layout of the venue itself, and the hospitality of the owners! Can I also tell you how well Lisa and Victoria have their work cut out for them?? The day of my wedding, the ceremony was planned to be outside, but it ended up raining just before the ceremony was about to start. Within 20 minutes, Lisa and her staff had set up chairs for all 150 of my guests, and no one could even tell this had been a last minute change! I cannot tell you how many compliments and raving reviews we got from our guests; saying how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food tasted, how smoothly everything went, and even comments about how much fun the bartenders were!! I know we may be biased, but my husband and I, and our guests truly had the most incredible time at our wedding. I truly believe the day of my wedding could not have been anymore magical or AMAZING if it weren’t for Lisa and Victoria, and all of the Bill Miller’s staff. Bill Miller’s Castle is the perfect venue to start your own Happily Ever After!!

I can’t even begin to express how perfect our wedding day was. It wouldn’t of been complete if it wasn’t for the help of Lisa and Victoria throughout the way. Their professionalism, and loyalty made the planning process less stressful. They were so accommodating to our every need, and didn’t stop until the day was over. Not only was the staff amazing, but the venue was as well. There wasn’t one detail that went unannounced. The amount of guest who came up to us complimenting the castle on its beauty was countless. The castle was the first place we looked at when searching for a venue and after comparing every other one to the castle we knew we had to book it! The place itself has so much character and charm. With all the details there it's beautiful rain or shine. The food is amazing! And the service is outstanding!! Our wedding was truely a dream come true. Lisa and Victoria make it easy to plan with letting you know what you need and catering to any requests you have. They make you feel like a princess in the castle. They are so friendly and caring. This is the first time that I have EVER looked forward to writing a review. I will attempt to keep this brief, but I can't make any promises.
From the moment we walked through the majestic doorway where we were greeted by the friendliest, and most down to earth duo (Lisa Miller and Victoria Smith) to sharing the moment with Victoria seconds before I walked down the aisle (to the motown classic "Stand By Me" accompanied by my dad sporting a hawaiian shirt) to say "I do!" we were treated with kindness, respect, and kept at ease with lighthearted humor to settle nerves on such an important day.
The rustic, badass, open-spaced castle with endless angles to take the perfect selfie, is just scratching the surface of why this place is one-of-a-kind. The dance floor is big, and durable (which was extremely important to us twerkers of the world trying to go viral). The food? UNREAL. Lisa & staff make it a priority to ensure the selection is precisely what you are looking for. Now, I can't leave out the grand bridal suite- this room is fit for the most important pre-game of you and your maids' lives and created yet again the perfect space to spend the last minutes being a single lady.
There is not enough room on this page to express how the seasoned wedding babes (Lisa and Victoria) provided us with the ideal service for our wedding. Where these women stand out is here: they leave the "saleswoman" crap in the parking lot and never try to lead you in a direction you're not comfortable going in. They are willing to truly listen to you, and help make the best day of your life. We will never forget the generosity and flexibility the BMC staff showed us and will continue to spread the word of how phenomenal our experience with them was.
Do yourself a favor and at least reach out to Lisa Miller or any of the amazing BMC staff to book a tour. You will be treated as a friend, not a client - and for us, that made all of the difference.

Look no further than Bill Miller’s Castle! My husband and I just got married there two weeks ago and my only regret is that I can’t find the words to appropriately thank Lisa and her daughter, Victoria, enough for making our big day PERFECT in every way! From the moment we walked in the front door for the first time, I got the “this is it” feeling and knew we found our place. I can’t imagine working with a more pleasant and accommodating coordinator than Lisa. Truly, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do! On our wedding day, she and Victoria did not let me lift a finger – they had everything covered and the day and night was flawless! My family, my husband and I will never forget what a great feeling it was knowing that our big day was in such good hands from day one. The grounds and the castle itself are absolutely stunning – a photographer’s dream with so many beautiful backdrops inside and out. We loved how spacious it was – huge dance floor, lovely outdoor patio and gazebo, large bar room and a bridal suite to die for! Our guests are still raving about Bill Miller’s Castle and I’ll be recommending it every chance I get. Our videographer even said “Bill Miller’s is one of our favorite venues now!” To Lisa, Victoria, the Bill Miller’s staff and La Luna catering – thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we hoped and more! You are the best of the best!

Bill Miller's Castle was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process. Lisa and Staff were spectacular. She was so helpful with even the smallest of details. I still am getting compliments on the venue and food, my guests have said that it was the best wedding they've been to. We wanted to get married outside, but Mother Nature had other plans. The biggest compliment I can give The Castle is their rain plan is just as beautiful as the outside ceremony. My pictures are amazing, and I love how romantic and intimate the ceremony was. I would get married again at Bill Miller's in a heartbeat!!!!!!

My husband and I got married at Bill Miller's Castle on April 29th. It was an incredible wedding!! Wonderful staff, the food was absolutely delicious, and the day was perfect! It was the first and only venue we visited...and we knew it was going to be our place from the moment we walked it. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to all of the staff and vendors, especially Cheri and Victoria - you ladies were amazing!! Thank you for making our special day one that we'll never forget!

Bill Miller's Castle is the total package. We chose the castle for our wedding venue because of it's beauty and character, but we got so much more than just what you see! The food was amazing and they were very accommodating with our requests for our menu. The staff at Bill Miller's treated us as family from start to finish. Victoria was there for us every step of the way... and for a bride planning her wedding, this was so important. Victoria and Lisa were so attentive the day of our wedding... fixing my hair and makeup for me, carrying my train, making sure our kids were smiling for photos- Victoria even carried our youngest, cranky son into our reception when he wouldn't walk out during introductions! They went so above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. And the beauty of the castle is breathtaking! I went to a bridal fair at the castle and immediately booked our wedding the following week- I didn't even look at another venue and it was the best decision I ever made. HIGHLY recommend for any future Mr & Mrs. Our wedding day was simply amazing, thanks to the Castle.

My husband and I finally tied the knot after almost ten years together here at Bill Miller's Castle. When I tell you this place is amazing I mean it. From the unique character of the place, to the awesome team that runs the castle, to the AMAZING food from La Luna! Everyone who attended the wedding says that our special day was the best wedding they have been to!:-) Cheri, Lisa, and Victoria and the rest of the team made sure our day was nothing but the best, if we had to do it all over again, i wouldn't change a thing! My husband and I are beyond happy to be a part of the Bill Miller's family now!

Was just married at the castle earlier in October and I cannot thank EVERYONE at Bill Miller's Castle enough. Every question and detail for two years leading up to our wedding was answered with a quick and detailed response, and I never felt like I was being annoying sending 500 emails and asking last minute questions. Cheri was patient and respectful, always. From the moment my husband and I walked into this venue, we knew this was the one. It was the first and last one we looked at, we fell in love immediately. Victoria helped me the day of the wedding and again, she was absolutely amazing and helpful in every way. I don't even think I left the bridal suite once because I knew that she had everything under control. Many of our guests said this was the most unique venue they had ever been too, the best food, the most fun, the compliments never stopped and it was all thanks to Bill Miller's. Everyone from the bartenders to the wait staff had smiles on their faces the entire time and would bring my husband and I food/drinks without us even having to ask. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue and staff. THANK YOU Cheri, Victoria, and ALL of Bill Miller's Staff for making our wedding the most amazing day ever!!

Lisa was exceptional as was the food, atmosphere, decor, and whole experience. Multiple people told us ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to, by far. We are so glad we tied the knot here!!!

The staff at Bill Millers is a very welcoming, friendly and helpful family. I felt completely at home with them. The venue itself is gorgeous and filled with so much personality. I absolutely loved having my wedding there.

Bill Miller's Castle was the perfect place for our wedding. We were looking for something a little different - not the typical "cookie cutter" wedding - something that truly reflected who we are, and the type of wedding we wanted. The space is just gorgeous and very unique. Victoria and Lisa, the wedding coordinators at Bill Miller's, were absolutely amazing. They listened to what we wanted, helped us put the event together, and made the whole process fun and memorable. They were flexible and helpful and truly went above and beyond to make sure that we had the perfect day. Our outside caterer went incommunicado an hour before the wedding & we couldn't reach him... they were over an hour late and no sign/word... Victoria and Lisa swung into action and took care of everything. While we were having our family photos done, they organized last minute passed hors d'oeuvres, cheeseboards, and drinks, while gearing up to be ready to serve dinner too if needed. Our guests never even realized that anything was wrong! When the caterers (that we chose!!) finally did show up, Victoria and Lisa handled the whole setup without a hitch. They got dinner served in record time and our guests raved about how good the food was. We truly could not have done it without them. Great place, great atmosphere, truly incredible staff.

Our original wedding venue was bought out and cancelled on us 10 weeks before our wedding. Bill Miller's was available the day before and my husband and I believe it was meant to be because our day was so much greater than we imagined it would be. We wanted a venue that was different from a big ballroom with a chandelier. This venue made me feel like I was princess of a rustic castle, which was perfect for our rustic theme. You can't beat the beauty of this venue, the beautiful deck for cocktail hour, and then amazing property where we had our ceremony. Everything was so green and vibrant, which provided the perfect backdrop for our formal pictures. There are so many great photo opportunities at this place!! The staff was on top of everything as well. Everything was set up without me needing to remember a thing. They were there with my favorite wine or asking if we needed anything throughout the night and helped to make sure everything followed the timeline. Our day was perfect and I only wish I could live it over again without changing a thing!

I cannot say enough good things about our wedding day here at the Castle on 10-30-2015! Victoria was a DREAM to work with, always so helpful and totally loved our Halloween wedding theme. Even the staff dressed up! Our guests LOVED the food catered by La Luna too. We are still drooling over it. Bill Millers staff made our dream wedding happen and run smoothly. The grand bridal suite was a great area for getting ready and photo taking! We highly recommend Bill Millers for any event. It is so versatile and unique! Thank you all! Bill & Colette Fritz

Every thing was PERFECT when we had our wedding here! I can't say enough great things about the staff. And the atmosphere is to die for! Everyone said it was one of the coolest places they have ever been to. And the food was amazing!

I fell in love with this venue at first click. I dragged my now husband to the venue to meet Lisa and get an in person tour. After just entering the door, we knew nothing could top this. Working with Lisa was a joy, I was a very DIY bride and wanted to make sure things were how my crazy imagination pictured it. Lisa and Victoria made sure everything looked and felt just as i hoped. They are very kind people, who just want to make your day special and effortless on your part. The food from La Luna and the Venetian hour tables were so incredible I'd have another wedding just to get all that! I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for something not so wedding factory like. This is a place for people who like whimsy, romance, and beautiful architecture. My experience with Bill Miller's Castle was amazing. Lisa Miller, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond working with the vendors to make everything go perfect. There is nothing I would change about my wedding, it was absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly and the castle is gorgeous. All of my guests keep telling me what an amazing time they had, and how impressed they were with the castle. Food was excellent too!
